Here's part 2. Enjoy.

Meanwhile, over at LUX, Linda was spending her Christmas Eve with her best friend, (Whom she had recently found out is really a Demon) Maze and the two of them were enjoying some quality time together over the Christmas themed cocktails. During which, Linda couldn't help but look around the area and watch as everyone in the currently colourful and well decorated club, danced to the upbeat Christmas music playing in the background.

Linda: (Enjoying a glass eggnog) Wow, I must say, Joei really went all out when she decorated the place, didn't she?

Maze: (Having the gingerbread martini) *Cackles* Yeah. I just wish I could've been here earlier to see the look on Lucifer's face when he walked in and saw this place. I bet it was incredible. *Sighs* I love how this holiday effects people.

Linda: Really? Cause, don't get me wrong, but… I never quite pictured you as the kind of person… or rather Demon, who would have much of an interest in Christmas.

Maze: Oh, are you kidding? Christmas is the best. In fact, back home in Hell, it was one of our best methods of torture. All those souls struggling to find the 'perfect gift' for their special someone, only to keep failing and wasting everything they have, just to see the look of disappointment on their loved ones faces when all they get is either nothing or a piece of crap. *Sighs in arousement* Good times.

Linda: *Somewhat traumatized by what was just said* Uh… Barkeep? Can I have another glass of Eggnog, please? And keep'em commin.

Back at the large department store, Chloe and Dan were at the toyshop, located on the ground floor and ready to collect Mrs. Butterfly-Sprinkle. While Ella, Jophiel and Lucifer were still searching through the shops until they eventually settled for one of the cosmetic shops. Which was located on the 3rd floor.

The cosmetic shop also happened to sell the well-priced fragrance gift-set for men that also represented the very brands Ella's brothers preferred. With that being her official choice, Ella prepared to head over to the counter to purchase them. Beforehand, Lucifer decided to look around on his own for Jophiel's gift.

Jophiel: Luci, where you are you going? The checkout counter is the other way.

Lucifer: Yes, Joei, I'm aware of that. I just thought I'd have look around for a bit before we go.

Ella: Oh, did you forget to get a gift for someone too?

Lucifer: You could say.

Jophiel: Since when do you start getting Christmas presents?

Lucifer: Well, if you must know, dear sister, you've influenced me. So decided to get a gift for a certain someone in my life.

Jophiel: Oh, well, do you need any help finding it?

Lucifer: Oh, no, not at all. I can find it on my own. You two go ahead, I'll be out before this place even closes.

With that being said, Jophiel, Ella and Lucifer parted ways. However, as they were walking towards the counter, Jophiel turned to Ella and said…

Jophiel: He's up to something.

Ella: What?

Jophiel: Luci, he's up to something. I just know it.

Ella: So, you don't think he's getting a gift for anyone?

Jophiel: Oh, he is definitely getting a gift for someone. Which is strange because he never gives anyone anything unless it involves a favour afterwards. Not even on Christmas.

Ella: Well, maybe he's stepping up and trying to make an effort.

Jophiel: *Sighs* I wish I could believe that. But knowing Lucifer, he definitely has some sort of private agenda in store.

The girls continued to make their way towards the checkout-counter when suddenly… Jophiel and Ella found themselves hiding behind from one of the display shelves and witnessing a man in a rubber Santa mask, pointing a gun at the female shopkeeper and dragging her away from the counter!

Ella: *Whispering* Oh, my god, the stores being robbed.

Jophiel: *Also whispering* Shh, stay down and follow me.

Following her orders, Ella squatted down and she and Jophiel quietly crept their way from one stack of shelves to the next, in order to avoid being seen by the armed robber. They stopped for a moment when they spotted Lucifer looking through some of the least popular perfume sets. Before he could be spotted, Jophiel was the one who stealthily jumped up and dragged her brother down to the ground. Once they were all down on the floor…

Lucifer: What the… (Jophiel quickly covers his mouth)

Jophiel: Shh. The shops being robbed.

Before crawling their way towards the exit, the lights went out (Except the decoration lights) and the three of them watched as a couple more robbers wearing a rubber Santa and elf masks came in, began sealing one of the exits, while talking another hostage, including a security guard.

Elsewhere, while still at the toyshop, Chloe and Dan stood by the counter and waited for someone to come in and give them the doll. Expect no one did. Unable to wait any longer, Dan decided to take it amongst himself and climbed over the counter.

Chloe: Dan? Dan, what are you doing?

Dan: Look, Chloe, the store is closing in a few minutes and we can't leave without Mrs. Butterfly Sprinkle. Look, we'll leave both the money and a note right here. That way, they'll know we'll have the doll and we still payed for it. So technically, it's not actually stealing.

As a cop, Chloe would've sided against this, but as a mother, she really needed to get what Trixie asked for. Especially since this was officially her first time celebrating Christmas without both of her parents in the same home. So, just this once, against her own better judgement, Chloe decided to bend the rules and agreed to leave the money and note on the counter and simply leave with the doll.

Once they grabbed the doll, wrote a note and left both it and the money behind (With an extra $10), Chloe and Dan were preparing to leave when they unexpectedly heard the sound of a fragile object being dropped to the ground. When they looked over to the cause, they too quickly hid behind the shelves and watched as another robber in a rubber elf mask took another hostage!

With multiple armed robbers in the area, the exits sealed, the lights out, and with the unknown number of hostages taken, the group needed to find a proper place to meet and hide before calling in for backup.

From above, Lucifer, Ella and Jophiel continued to carefully creep away from the shelves until they finally reached the exit and then quickly hid inside the sunglass kiosk across the way.

Lucifer: This is ridiculous, I'm the Devil, I shouldn't be hiding in a sunglass kiosk. I should be punishing everyone of those criminals the way Bruce Willis did in Die Hard.

Ella: Oh, man, I love that movie. Although, I get the feeling we're about to experience the real deal here.

Jophiel: Well, as much as I enjoy the mental image of you going 'John McClain' on them, there's still the matter of coming up with an actual plan.

Lucifer: What plan? We don't need a plan. You and I can simply…

Jophiel: Stay low, keep Ella safe, find a proper place to hide and hope that neither we or Chloe and Dan get caught.

While the two siblings debated, Ella looked to her right and she could see Chloe and Dan from down below. They were hiding in the phone display area. Before informing Lucifer and Jophiel…

Jophiel: Luci, we don't know how many hostages have been taken. If we got out all wily-nilly, it could end badly for the other hostages. Not to mention, Chloe could be close by right now. And we all know how vulnerable that makes you.

Ella: Hey, guys, look. Chloe and Dan are down there.

Seeing them down there, the trio grew concerned because their friends could clearly be seen! In order to get their attention, Jophiel took out her phone and texted Chloe to look up. Before pressing send, Ella placed her hands together and prayed…

Ella: Hey, Big-Guy, I know you're busy with it being Christmas and all, but please oh please, let Decker's phone be on vibrate when Joei hits send.

Thankfully, Chloe did have her phone on vibrate, because the moment she received Jophiel's text, she was the only one able to hear it. Once she read the message and looked up to see Jophiel's hand lightly waving to them, Chloe began texting her back. Asking where they should regroup.

From their vantage point, Lucifer, Jophiel and Ella could almost see the entire department store, along with a few other armed robbers patrolling the area. At first, it seemed impossible to find a more suitable place to hide and regroup. Especially with a gunman standing guard on each floor.

That is until Ella glanced down to the far left corner and saw a cabin-like structure of Santa's Grotto. It was perfect. It was small enough to fit only a few people and it was ironically the last place the robbers would think to look. With their hiding place found, Ella told Jophiel and she texted Chloe to meet them at the Grotto.

However, even with their goal set, there was still the matter of actually getting past the robbers. Luckily for the trio, one of the robbers had his back turned and was too busy communicating through the radio. Thus giving them the right opportunity to sneak past him.

From that point on, the trio continued to sneak around and avoid the robbers until they reached the Grotto. It was a difficult journey, due to the fact; they had to keep moving from place to place. Often separately from each other. From hiding behind Christmas trees, to either Santa or snowmen statues, or even other kiosks.

Nevertheless, they were still able to creep their way into the Grotto. Although, in an ironic twist of fate, Lucifer, Ella and Jophiel had to sneak in through the chimney. Moreover, within the next few minutes, Chloe and Dan safely walked into the room too. Once they were all together, Chloe immediately called in for back.

Chloe: Okay, unis says they have dispatch on their way.

Jophiel: Well, that's a relief. But what are we supposed to do until then?

Chloe: Well, there's not much we do. Expect keep the three of you safe. You're all civilians and Dan and I don't even have our guns.

Lucifer: You're both police officers and you forget your guns?

Dan: It's Christmas Eve and we're supposed to be off duty right now.

Chloe: Well, besides that, we need to do a recon on these robbers. Find out how many we're dealing with, and hopefully find the location as to where they're keeping the hostages.

Ella: How are you we going to do that? We were barely able it make in here.

Lucifer: Hmm, that does make this a tough quandary, doesn't it. Perhaps it's best if we send one person out there to risk his life and face those gun-wielding Santa and Elf thugs. I for one, vote for Daniel.

Dan: What? Bro, I am not…

Before speaking further, Jophiel was listening from the doorway and she could hear the sound of footsteps walking towards them! She ordered them to hide, and by the time the thug in a Santa mask came in… He saw no one?

Back at LUX, Maze and Linda were still binging at the bar. By now, they had each drank at least seven different types of cocktails. Which included Eggnog, gingerbread-martini, winter snowflake, cranberry-mimosa, Jingle-juice-holiday punch, the Jack Frost, and the Drunken Snowman.

Despite all their sweetness and flavours, they were causing Linda to become very drunk and slurring with her words. Which Maze greatly enjoyed.

They soon took a break when Lucifer and Jophiel's eldest brother Amenadiel turned up. Much like Lucifer (Though he'd never admit), Amenadiel didn't show much interest in the holidays either. This proved to be true when came in, saw all the beautiful lights and decorations, along with the people happily dancing, to the greatest hits and showed no facial expression that represented happiness or excitement for the Holiday Cheer. Anyway, once he approached Linda and Maze…

Linda: *Slurring* Amenadiel! Hi! Merry Christmas!

Amenadiel: Hey, Linda. You seem happy.

Linda: Oh, I am. Maze and I have really been enjoying these Christmas themed drinks. The eggnog is great and you have to try the gingerbread martini and the Drunken-Snowman.

Maze: Even I'll admit they're pretty good. Who would've have thought, the bartenders would get these recipes from you own sister?

Amenadiel: Jophiel? Jophiel, gave knew and gave them the recipes?

Linda: Apparently. She also did all of this decorating. Who knew she had so much Christmas spirit?

As he looked around, Amenadiel stood astonished by the fact that his own sister made all of this possible. At first, he kept thinking to himself that Jophiel wouldn't have much interest in Christmas because none of them ever took the time to celebrate it when they were all still living in the Silver-City.

Even though it did mark the important birth of their half-brother, Jesus. Then again, that was long before Jophiel even decided to leave for Earth. And seeing the proof that shows of how far she's come since then, allowed Amenadiel to only say…

Amenadiel: I certainly didn't.

Maze: Just a shame none of us could see Lucifer's face. Because that would have been the highlight to pretty much anyone's day.

Linda: (Looks up at the TV and sees a live report) Hey. Look up there. It looks like something's going on at a department store on West Hills.

The moment they looked up to the TV, Maze ordered the bartender to turn up the volume, so they could hear the Female news reporter saying…

Reporter: The police have gathered to what appears to be an armed robbery in progress. Word is that the robbers have sealed the exits and have taken several hostages including the staff members and security guards. Earlier tonight, the police arrived at the scene after being informed by a detective from the LAPD. It has also has been confirmed that this particular detective is currently inside the facility. Along with another Detective, a consultant, a forensics scientist and the assistant. Their identities are currently unknown.

Linda: You don't think she meant, Lucifer, Chloe, Jophiel, Dan, and, uh… Ella, do you?

Maze: Only one way to find out. Come on, let's head over there.

Amenadiel: Maze. We don't know for sure if they were actually talking about Luci and Joei. It could just be coincidence.

Maze: Well, there's only way to find out, isn't there? Let's go. (Just as she and Amenadiel were walking up the stairs) Linda, you comin?

Linda: Mm? Oh, yeah, yeah. I'm right behind you, I just to… slide over here… and grab my… purse. (Slowly sides her onto the counter before passing out)

Regardless of being unconscious, Maze still took it up herself and carried Linda over her shoulder before finally leaving with Amenadiel and heading straight over to the department store to check on the situation.

To be Continued…
