"So you mean to tell me," Tobirama says flatly, "that you discovered a nonhuman creature of unknown origins and instead of putting your safety first, you decided to blow it up."

"We won," Kyo protests.

"You were underestimated," Tobirama corrects. "I doubt you'll be so lucky a second time." The group, counting Isamu and Asuka since he had snuck into the hospital to lecture all of them, grumble in an aggrieved manner. "Not only that, but Michiko was in the blast radius and ended up covered in an unknown substance that very well could have had a bad reaction to human skin and made her sick or dead."

"All's well that ends well…?" Asuka tries, hesitant. Tobirama gives him a flat look that hopefully portrays exactly what he thinks of that.

"It was my idea," Isamu says. "They had nothing to do with it." Tobirama sighs, pinching at the bridge of his nose.

"While it's admirable that you want to take full responsibility, we all know that even you couldn't have pulled this one off alone." Tobirama scans them all. "Do you at least understand what you did wrong?"

"We didn't think things through properly," Michiko says, now clean of all weird blood material.

"And?" Tobirama pushes.

"We put ourselves in unnecessary danger," Nao says after a long pause, sounding very unsure of herself. Honestly, did he somehow manage to forget to teach these kids basic safety regulations?

"Alright, well-"

"Kids?" Tobirama throws himself out the window at the new voice, recognizing Nobuyuki in a heartbeat. He does not want to explain how he suddenly managed to come back to life. He gives the kids one more warning look, dropping out of view at the same moment the door begins to open. Right. What should he do? While he could return to Wave, he feels it would be a bit unfair to these kids to come just to scold them. For now, he supposes, all he can do is track down Shukaku and wait with him for Nobuyuki to return to his duties.
