Isabela is sitting up with Mirabel in her room, concerned, she is snuggling with her while gently stroking her hair, "We both saw it, we both know that something is happening. You aren't crazy Mirabel." She smiles lightly

Mirabel looks at her, "I know, I just…it seems like the house and the magic was out to get me because it went away as soon as I tried to reveal it to everyone."

Isabela looks at her, "Yeah, that was strange, wasn't it?"

Mirabel sighs, "What should I do Isa?" She asks concerned.

Isabela thinks for a second, "Well…Why do anything? I mean if the magic is in trouble, if it is dying, then there has to be a good reason and it can't be you wondering why you didn't get a gift and wanting to be blessed like the rest of us, even if I think you don't see how blessed you can be by not having a gift. It's not your responsibility to fix everything."

Mirabel looks at her, "But sis, if the magic goes away, they'll blame me."

Isabela shakes her head, "Then they are sheep that believe anything that they have been told and don't know your true heart, not at all baby sis." After that, she begins to sing, "There's so much to life, more than you know, more than a magical gift that is given that allow plants to grow. If you saw yourself through my eyes, you'd see, you are the one that truly glows. There's a lot to you that you simply don't know."

Mirabel looks at her, "But who am I, as a Madrigal, when I am just ordinary?"

Isabela hugs her close and snuggles to her, "You're more than that, your extraordinary."

Mirabel begins to relax against her sister, "I wish that were true. How can I be anything, when I am standing next to you."

Isabela kisses her forehead, "Next to me, you're beautiful without even knowing it, next to me, you are perfect, only you don't have to show it. You don't have to work to please Abuela or anyone else, you have nothing to prove, but think of how the children of the village all love you. I grow the flowers, Momma heals the injured, Pepa brings the morning rain, but you are the one that is there for the kids that feel the emotional pain."

Mirabel begins to fall asleep, "But anyone can do that, not just me, but you too."

Isabela whispers, "I would love to be out there, with the children and with you." After that, she sees that Mirabel is asleep and she stays snuggling with her for about half an hour, 'Don't you worry baby sister, I'll find out what is going on. Step one, go and talk to Luisa, she is the one that is most connected with her gift.' She gently gets up and she quietly walks out of the nursery and walks into Luisa's room, "We need to talk."

Luisa sits up and yawns, "Can't this wait? I have chores to do tomorrow."

Isabela looks at her with a slight glare, but her face softens, as she knows that Luisa is under a lot of physical stress and pressure and she goes over to her, "No, it cannot wait, not when our baby sister is concern little sis."

Luisa looks alarm, "Something is wrong with Mirabel? I mean, I knew tonight was hard on her, with seeing the cracks and everything and no one believing or brushing her off, but…is there anything I can do."

Isabela looks at her, "You can start by telling me the truth, you are the one most entuned with your gift. We saw the cracks, both of us, we saw the door flash and dim. We saw the candle flicker; we know that something is going on and I know that you are the one to feel it. Now, don't try to hide it from me little sis, because I know all of you tells when you are lying."

Luisa begins to sing, "It's my job, you don't understand, to be the strong one, so that I can, serve the community and make the family proud, although I don't want to always do it, I can't say it outloud."

Isabela frowns and then she begins to sing, "You can talk to me, have I failed you too? Did I spend so much time focused on Mirabel, that I neglected you? You don't have to hold all your pain and worries inside, not around me. Luisa, open up and just be free."

Luisa continues, "I carry the load, of the family on my back, but I am worried, what if our magical gifts do not last."

Isabela smirks slightly, "Then the community would have to learn, to depend on themselves and not always on us, but on them." She looks serious at her sister; she hates how their grandmother demands that they work all the time to 'earn' the miracle that they were given. They were given powers, they didn't ask for it, it should be up to them to determined how they use their powers and how much they use them. She sighs, "I hate growing flowers, I hate being who I am, why can't I just be myself, I don't understand why grandma wants me to be perfect and pretty, and why she wants to marry Marino, I wish I knew what to do, how to change the fate that has been given to me, because I don't dream of the life, the life of my dream is being free as Mirabel is, to marry for love."

Luisa begins to sing, "We got to work together, to be a team, and surely then, we can truly make life in this family to be like a dream. Not with magical gifts, flowers grown, or animals spoken to, but with the love that we share for each other that will always be true. Let our gifts die tomorrow and the town learn to do things on their own.

They end the song together, taking hands, "Let's be a team. To work together to save our family and our home and Mirabel too." They vow determined to make tomorrow a better day and to start making changes.

Isabela looks at Luisa, her strong silent little sister who had suffered the hard work because of the villagers either being lazy or making ridiculous demands, 'It all stops tomorrow, I will stop it myself if I have to. I will steal that candle and throw in the river where we got our miracle if I must.'
