Chapter 70 - One For All Perfected

Yuki | Open your eyes | You are well

"I'm not dying painfully?" She whimpered.

|No|

Listening to SIVA, she cracked her eyes open to find that, while injured, the trio weren't impaled. The columns of spikes crumbled like dust in their fingers, Overhaul grunted in anger, slapping his hand to the ground only for nothing to work. That's when Yuki saw several black stamp seals slam into Dren's face, the Fallen cursing in... well, it was an insult.

When Overhaul looked up in his rage, his arm bent backwards at a bad angle, Yuki and Izuku digging their fists against his skin. "This is our chance-!" Izuku wouldn't let it slip away.

"If we fight as one-!" Yuki's eyes burrowed into Chisaki's.

"We'll win!"

Eraserhead saw that not only were one of the targets from Akame's Raid here but so was his student. These circumstances were dire but with both clearly on their last legs, he hadn't the time to argue with either of them. Drawing his binding cloth, he made a b-line for Dren who was standing behind Overhaul, motionless. "You three backed him into a corner, one more push and we finish this!"

"Yes, Sir/Aye!" The couple complied.

Izuku gasped, "Why was Dren not moving away?" His head pounded with heat. "Behind us!"

"Gotcha." Dren mused, slicing through Yuki's right hand to cut off the flow of plasma, a few wires snatched her severed hand to glue it back onto her bleeding arm quickly, Chrono appeared above Dren, surprising them all. "I got the hang of this Vex teleportation - Chrono."

"Longhand!" His hair sliced through Eraser like a blade, his body tossing Izuku into Yuki, saving the pair from sharing the burden of being slowed. "Those pierced by my hands will have their movements slowed, I meant to hit all three of you but I guess that's heroes for ya."

"It's fine," Dren huffed, teleporting him and Chrono away. "They lost their last little trick against the most powerful Quirk here, rather predictable... yes, very predictable." He cooed, tapping his arm where the Vex cognition mesh slithered up his whole right arm.

"Deku!" Yuki rushed toward Overhaul in desperation, Izuku following quickly.

"Everything..." Overhaul watched as Eraserhead's eyes closed further and further. "All you've done..." Then, the glare was gone, his arms racing with power. "Has been for nothing!"

He slapped the ground, forcing them into withdrawing, the entire battleground erupting into a deadly lair of spikes that reached to near the ceiling in an instant, hanging the duo like washing, unscathed but no less close to ending this battle.

"You okay?" Yuki managed to squeeze out to help Izuku kneel atop the spikes.

"Thanks, yeah," He accepted her hand to stabilize.

"Like I'd let my plans be ruined by people who are sick in the head," Overhaul was brimming with spite, running a hand down his eyes.

"Like you're one to talk!" He glared up at Yuki. "You say people with Quirks are an infection but I've seen them do good, even those without Quirks - besides, what kind of hypocrite does that make you, huh!?"

"I wasn't asking you of my methods, sure, you can call me that all you like, my Quirk is a tool nothing more. Besides, it won't matter once you're dead in the ground," He seethed, seeing his concussed subordinate, Nemoto passed out beside him. A disgusting but interesting idea plagued his frantic thoughts. "You get it, Nemoto? You want me to succeed."

"NO!" Yuki tried but her words might as well be dirt to the enemy. Without Eraserhead around, they were screwed.

He raised his hand toward the man's face. "I won't allow all my hard work to end here; you are always so eager to help so I know you'll gladly give your life to my cause-" His fingers broke apart Nemoto's facemask, his other over his own skin, sending cracks across his pinpricked eyes. "-Won't you!?"

A white and purple ball consumed the pair into a torrent of light and wind, enveloping their half of the battlefield in a terrifying pressure. Inside the light, a dark silhouette began to form, expanding and reshaping in seconds with glaring red eyes. Purple lightning danced from within.

"I'll be a good sport and admit you three are stronger than me, Lemillion, Deku, Aksis!" Every word dripped venom. "I respect your perseverance!" His body hunched over, two arms growing from his back, his original bulking up in the process. Yuki's face turned green with Izuku's paling in terror and disgust. "But in the end, I will still be the victor!"

The wind dissipated, revealing the Fused Overhaul within, his mask splitting in half like a bird's jaws, hung with wires like flesh. Black stripes fused with his melded skin and face. "Now Heroes, I'll have you return Eri to me!"

His power has risen | Two Quirks reside in him now | To fuse matter, living or otherwise...

"He's like us, able to transform." It wasn't hard to believe, but Yuki still struggled to believe all their work was magically undone. The damage was gone, while they bled or held onto what little they had left.

"It was unpleasant but necessary, I feel much better now," His voice grew darker, more distorted since his fusion. "Cleanliness is an obsession of mine, when someone contaminates me with their filth I lose control; it's never gone quite this far though," His eyes narrowed. "What an unfortunate turn for you all, especially you, Lemillion."

"You decided to get involved with Eri, with me, and now your Quirk is lost forever," He cracked his neck, slitting his gaze onto where Nighteye helped him and Eri. "If only you backed down sooner you may have held onto your pathetic dreams; you still refused to give up, even without a Quirk, all of you continue to strive toward annihilation for a hopeless cause, and now... all of your heroics - will take all your friends with you!"

He tore across the spikes, ripping the world apart to beat down on Mirio's location. Nighteye couldn't block these attacks, not alone. From the right, one of Overhaul's spikes slammed into his palm, being broken down in an instant in Izuku's hands. The rocks swirled around his shocked expression.

"Get away from them!" His silent glare only infuriated Chisaki further, reconstructing the stone to pierce the sky, missing Izuku who was caught in Yuki's arms, though she had no way of using her augments, she could still move around with plasmablasts. "T-Thanks!"

"Always got your back," Yuki concurred.

"Power, speed, agility, that's all you two have," Not even Overhaul was impressed, their abilities weren't all that grand once overworked. Then another of those weighted seals blinded him in one eye. Nighteye took the vanguard.

"Stand down Deku, Aksis, I'll handle this, get Lemillion and Eri to safety!" He was grimacing under his glasses, keeping Overhaul at bay. "Dren, his powers are that of what I perceived, the environment has varied though, is that just a vague notion or has fate remained on course? I can't risk that," He threw more of his stamps, keeping the distance close, evading with mere second glances with his Sight. "No, focus on instances, that's how I protect what Mirio, what all of them fought for!"

"Hold still," Yuki warned Mirio, while unable to hold onto a startling difference with Perfected SIVA, Yuki managed to use a cloth she weaved from her clusters to form bandages around Mirio's stomach wound, it wasn't fatal but he wasn't winning any races. "We need a way out," She turned to Izuku.

"I'll be fine to walk, yeah, but I failed," Mirio panted, looking toward Eri who shook by his side; Yuki could see it, she was blaming herself for all of this, whatever Overhaul put into her head, it was starting to haunt her. "You're sad again and it's my fault."

"Don't beat yourself up, let's go," Izuku turned to kick the wall down, an intact hallway on the opposite side. "This should lead us back the way we came through; We need to put distance between us and Chisaki."

"That hypocrite's able to repair himself after fusing with that other guy," Yuki stared at her hand distastefully. "He's become a human form of Consume|Enhance|Replicate, even faster than my regeneration, or... when I could use it."

"No," Eri croaked, closing her hand with Mirio's blood on it, tears falling freely. The sight broke their hearts, twisting the knife further. "That's enough, I'm so sorry!"

Yuki lowered her head to one side, "'To reach out my hand?'... and here I am, doing nothing," What a load of bullshit her words meant.

Unfortunately, their woes only fell further into the abyss.

Silence crawled, all of them looking back where the commotion stopped, a trickle of liquid gushing toward the floor. Yuki's heart shattered at the cruelty. Nighteye's arm was shot straight off his bicep by Dren's wire rifle peeking through a slit in the air behind him, his stomach impaled upon a spire.

"Sir...?" Mirio whispered; Yuki gasping behind her hand. "NOOOOOO!"

The pain was unimaginable, it circulated around his whole body, even so, Nighteye raised his head, eye lost in the clockwork, racing through film at a hasty pace. "Let... me see... a future where they are all safe, and take Eri to safety," The film rolled forward toward... "Let me see it!" He begged the world, his answer heard.

The image was of Izuku, face twisted with pain, blood flying to smother the scene, Yuki too shared this burden, face hidden behind her mask, the light mere pins to emphasize her agony. It all... would fall apart. Nighteye's gaze couldn't have felt more hopeless.

Passing Nighteye, two blurs tore onto the scene, fury encompassed Izuku's face, the eyes on Yuki's mask bloodthirsty. Overhaul turned to them, releasing a torrent of spikes to skewer them alongside Sir. The pair mirrored one another in absolute symmetry, uprooting the floor once more to counter the devastating attack, spires erecting high above their blockade.

"They're much more powerful than before... were they not fighting at their full strength?" That jaded Overhaul further.

"Lemillion, please take care of Eri!" Izuku asked of him, the injured hero nodding. His legs flinched from the force. "My body's screaming! But I can move!"

Yuki was no better, maintaining her control as metal seeped into her arms and legs, converting them back into the onyx husk and blue coating, spitting up some blue substance. "My whole body is creaking, trying to keep up with my injuries!" Clenching her fists, she stood tall with her partner. "But I can still move!"

"One For All - sixty-five percent!"

"SIVA, Perfected, Fifteen Percent!"

Their contrasting sparks dazzled in synergy, matching much like their movements up 'till now. Despite their new level-up, Overhaul was unphased. "Give up already! I told you, everyone here will die, you aren't the exception!"

Dren emerged from hiding, seemingly vanishing before, only now it made sense, his body's armour was being replaced with more code from the conflux shard, converting his once black metal into brass, he looked far less Fallen. "Combined with my abilities on par with yours, you might as well fight alone, pointless as it is."

"We won't let that happen! Even if it's already decided!" Izuku lunged with Yuki, a rekindled courage between them. Nighteye listen to it all in shocked silence, they continued against an inevitable end he couldn't stop.

"We'll twist that future!"

"Damn brats!" Overhaul slammed his fists forward, spikes and pillars converging on their location next to a burst of red energy attacks from Dren in the back. Yuki took the front, blocking or deflecting with a hardlight shield, Izuku ensuring to carve his fists and legs through the weaker structures, sliding across the sides of the larger ones.

"We've gotten better at anticipating, but so has he!" Izuku leapt off one of the pikes, slamming his leg into the earth with Yuki flinging two spheres toward the pair, both rushing past Overhaul, forcing Dren to block with his lower arms that took form, though they were blown away, the data simply reconfigured the lost limbs.

The force of Izuku's kick raised Overhaul's half of the arena, himself standing tall despite how unstable the surface became. The sheer output of One For All tore through Izuku's white gauntlets. Yuki's mask fragmented around the left eye socket, the glass unable to withhold the density of her nanites. Neither backed down. "We can win, we have to bear it for everyone!"

"Chisaki won't let up now! Even if he's close to death, he won't let us take Eri!" Realizing it was do or die, he gave Yuki one last look, the pair nodding as one, seemingly aware of what the other was planning. Overhaul lunged for them, missing both as they leapt toward the ceiling, Dren's shots intercepted by Yuki's smaller blasts, forcing him to teleport. "If we force ourselves out of range, Dren will have to intervene!"

Yuki's gaze flashed behind her. "When he does-" Izuku grabbed her arm, swinging her into Dren to deliver a right cross to his reformed mask, SIVA devouring the non-tainted metal for her own, bulking up her lower back, constructing black, straight wings equipped with small vents to relieve excess energy, the blast knocking Dren afar. "-I'll use Blackbird to sling us forward like a bullet!"

Grabbing Izuku's arm with her own, she spun them forward into a helix akin to Bakugo's own devastating cyclone, a twister of green and blue merging into a teal tint Overhaul couldn't stop. "Fusion Move - Manchester's Squall!"

Their attack buffered, taking a lot of effort for Yuki to teleport them a few inches closer to act as a feint. Overhaul gasped in time for an almighty explosion to erupt under their boots, rocks arched like wings, screaming in the air with a gust of wind that broke up the foundations. Even if they missed, the knockback would send him flying and leave Overhaul without anything to deconstruct.

When the pair looked up from the damage, they froze. A net barrier of light dissolved, Dren tilting his head back at them with Overhaul stepping by. "You're both quick to adapt, but I knew you'd try something like that again," His hands flattened against the untouched surface, chipping it away. "The quirks of your attack patterns are still predictable!"

"Die, Azuru." Dren ushered his last words, the javelins of concrete centimeters from their bodies. Yuki moved to protect Izuku with her body, himself holding his arms by her sides.

"No... I can't let this end," One For All started to overheat, burning every inch of his skin from within. His hands caught her hips. "I can't let her die! I won't let her down again!"

...

...

...

Two yellow gloves rested on his shoulders. "Hey, relax, just keep a clear mind, Nine," A strong, feminine voice reached his ear with a smile. "You can't avoid this, but if you use my power you'll live, trust me, just feel yourself swimming through the air, use that image of freefalling to catch you both."

Someone was speaking to Izuku, he didn't understand, face twisted in pain as his left leg was punctured by a spike, Yuki's right thigh, side, and left shoulder all bleeding from three other prongs. Whatever the voice was asking him, why it called him that name it felt like the last time when he unleashed his rage on Viral at the camp. They were both so close to his mind.

"Your mind's in disarray right now," Izuku was boiling over with anger, it was unlike him to feel so feral and unhinged. Viral taunted him constantly, increasing that endless threshold of strength. The ghostly voice was against his back, Izuku caught sight of short white hair. "I understand what it is you're doing, I concur this is a well-thought plan but if you allow yourself to be caught off guard in moments like these you will lose more than just yourself."

His hand tapped against Izuku's crown, introducing a strange, stabbing pain in the front of his mind, telling him to pull away from Viral's oncoming attack that had yet to manifest. "Use it well, Nine, we're watching you 'till the time's right, I just felt it was necessary to give you a taste of what's to come of you."

"Being able to put myself back together again doesn't make breaking apart hurt any less," Overhaul wasn't entirely okay, rebuilding his right arms. "You could've warned me of that."

Dren shook his head. "I can't predict the future like Nighteye, and this technology is attempting to convert me into one of their proxies so I needed time to recalibrate the data." Dren sighed, rubbing his arms. "I wasn't prepared for that defense though, how did he manage to defy physics, I don't remember anything about that in our data?"

Izuku was alive and well, bleeding, but alive with Yuki not so hot either, breathing against his side. "I barely had time to avoid that attack, I just glided away from the impact in time," The point of the stone remained lodged in his leg, shooting through his leg. "Whoever that was called me 'Nine', is it really one of the other holders of One For All? Did she... give me her Quirk? No, don't question it now, focus!"

"You're done, kids." Overhaul was patched up with Dren, compared to the others, it was over.

"We'll decide when it's over." Yuki spat, leaning on her knees. "Come on, show us what you got."

"Just like you friend; he didn't know when to give up either but there's something to be said about a person who refuses to admit defeat," Lifting his hand it ripped itself apart to form a mouth on the palm, bellowing an awfully loud voice that travelled far and wide. "SOMEONE ELSE IS ABOUT TO DIE BECAUSE OF YOU! IS THAT REALLY WHAT YOU WANT, ERI!?"

"Leave her out of thi-" A trace round lodged in the ground before Yuki silenced her quickly.

"I..." Both snapped their necks back to the breech, a scared little girl stumbled into view. "...don't want that!"

"No, you need to go back to Lemillion!" Izuku warned her in a panic but Overhaul was calling the shots. Voice no longer booming but quaking in their bones.

"Eri... do you really believe these two, beaten and alone, can possibly do anything now?" He asked of her, the answer forced from her mind.

She looked ashamed, squirming on the spot. "No, I don't..." The words tore at them both, it was the truth she didn't wish to speak, but it hurt no less.

"Then what should you do?" He twisted his tone further, seeing her look past them in complete submission.

"Go back... in exchange," She stopped, hands close to her chest with tears falling down her face. "Please put everyone back to the way they were!"

It was unthinkable to see, a little innocent girl forced into a fate she had no control over, used as a tool for Overhaul, believing it was all her fault. Something just welled up in Yuki's heart, she hadn't gone through what Eri had, but that pain was real, all too real and unfair and it made her mad.

"That's right!" He returned to using his voice. "It's easier to be hurt yourself than allow others to be hurt for you, huh!?" Izuku rose to his feet, trembling with rage, his wounds bleeding, burning, and itching. "The faint hope that budded with Lemillion has been snuffed out, haven't either of you realized it?"

Yuki felt bile burn in her throat, how dare he spouts this crap, manipulating the girl's mind to be his drug maker forever. "In the end, you're acting in the cruelest way possible to Eri." His eyes held no honor to the little girl's word. "She doesn't want either of you."

Both ground their teeth together, that flame was growing, expanding, and consuming whatever was left of their spirits, it engulfed their whole worlds to single out the monster hooking his jaws around Eri's life. Above, Nighteye could listen to it all helplessly, wishing it weren't how fate twisted against them. He'd give anything to change it now. "Midoriya... Azuru... you can't save Eri anymore... I saw the future where we're killed... and Eri is taken away by Chisaki."

They had always fought against fate. It was heartless, it didn't bend for anyone. Kovik was right about Izuku being 'blessed' to be given his Quirk, All Might blessed him to be a hero. SIVA, without him Yuki would have never seen a brighter tomorrow, and without him, she felt lost and incomplete. But power... that didn't make someone a hero, it was a tool, one that let them achieve their dreams, to be the person they were to so many more. Fate would never stand with them, so they wouldn't bend either!

"Even if that's the case-!" Izuku's voice seethed, wrenching the spike from his leg, dripping with blood. "Even if you don't want our help, you're crying, aren't you!?"

Lurched forward to stand beside Izuku, Yuki's mask flared with light, motes of blue gathering by her defiant aura. "No matter what stands in our way-!" She had defied all of Kovik's assumptions of her, Dren's obsessions, and Vosik's cruelty to make it this far. "-we'll annihilate the foundations of your nightmares!"

"No one else is going to die!" They cried out as one, Izuku crushing the spike in his hand with Yuki blazing sapphire. "We're going to save you!"

Eri's tears continuously fell.

*BOOOM!*

A strong torrent swept the area from above, flinging Overhaul away with Dren hiding behind his dome. Yuki and Izuku held onto one another carefully, gasping up at the sunlight piercing the chamber. Through the sinkhole, a large, pale dragon in red bite down on a massive villain, dragging his unconscious form through the earth with Ocha and Tsu in toe.

"Ryukyu! You guys came!" Izuku stared in awe at their arrival.

"Deku - huh, A-Aksis too! But wait..." Ocha paused in the air.

Tsu tapped her chin. "If you're here, then... who's the Deku we just saw?"

None of that mattered though, Yuki saw it, Overhaul was closer to Eri! She took off running with Izuku close behind her, they needed to take her before they escaped! Ocha saw this then realized whose blood soaked the ground not far away. "Nighteye!"

"Take care of him, hurry!" Izuku demanded, sprinting up to Yuki who took another of Dren's rifle rounds to keep Izuku in the lead, his attacks were getting stronger, they burnt right through her shield.

The ground just ahead of them erupted upward, blocking their hold on Eri who was flung high into the air. Overhaul's hands shook the earth. "CHISAKI!" Izuku screamed, another massive pillar rising toward the surface without them, Eri caught on the mountain with Dren by his side.

"You filthy heroes screwed everything up!" Overhaul thundered, leaving them behind.

"She's coming with us, bastard!" Yuki snapped, racing after him with Izuku, the pair holding out their hand for Eri, using the debris as leverage toward the top of the mountain. Yuki formed platforms with what little metal she had left while Izuku used the falling debris. "Save her, do it or none of this mattered!"

Up high, tucked into Overhaul's arm, Eri looked to her left and saw the red, torn cape that belonged to Mirio fluttering down in the wind. "His cape," The memories flooded back. Of Mirio suffering, losing his Quirk and being stabbed. "No, enough," Izuku's bloodied body alongside Yuki who smiled despite all the pain she was in. "I don't want anyone else to die," Nighteye impaled on Overhaul's spikes. "I don't want this - why do they keep trying?"

She peered up at the cape, hearing his words echo in her mind. 'I am going to be your hero!'. Something inside her stirred, reaching out toward the cape without any rime or reason, she had to - no she wanted to reach it again. 'I'm never going to let you down again, Eri'. Mirio's words reached out for her hand again. Gold strands of light expanded from her horn.

Overhaul felt himself fall forward, Nemoto expunged from his body, knocking Dren off the mountainside in surprise at the girl's Quirk manifesting. She caught the cape, peering over the edge at what she saw, something unbelievable and unexpected. The two heroes that worked together, that fought as one, they were closer, moving in the same space together against their wounds, blood flying back as each pebble or scrap metal helped them reach out, drawing closer with their hands, almost as if they were one entity entirely.

"These people aren't going to give up, not until I'm safe, even if it means they'll die," It made the guilt rise so why did her heart keep beating for them? Why did she want to cry out for them? "I have to let them save me - I have to go back!" Her resolve sprung loose, standing up with Mirio's cape tucked in her hands, inching closer to the edge away from Overhaul's encroaching hand. "I have to go back... to their kind arms!" She leapt straight toward their arms.

Izuku kept climbing higher with Yuki, smashing boulders, knocking a villain from his path. Yuki used her own armour to reinforce her legs, to stop her bleeding out as she ascended with him. "Eri!" He screamed, hand raised out, stretched as far as it could go. "Save her, Izuku Midoriya!"

"Pull her from this nightmare, Yuki Azuru!" "Eri!" Yuki called out for the girl, her arm conjoined to Izuku's, SIVA's voice ringing in his head.

Izuku could only look back on the girl he let go, prying her from his arms back into Overhaul's hand. That day, that one moment scarred him until this moment. He needed to save her, to make it up to her for all he put her through! "ERI!" He bellowed out. "You already... let her go once!" SIVA's voice resounded in his mind.

Augment Confirmed | Requirements Met | Beginning Unity

"Make sure... to keep holding on to her this time!"Their minds became one.

A slither of green and blue intersected their bodies. Light absorbed them, leaving only a bluish-green silhouette in its place, two eyes white and wide until a girl carrying a red cape collided with their chest. Their ascent halted, catching Eri in their tight arms once more, the girl's head against their shoulder while a hand rose to pat her head, comforting her closer.

"We'll... never let you go." The person whispered in Izuku and Yuki's voices. Floating through the falling debris, then a sharp pain alerted them to Overhaul, his hand slammed back into the earth.

"Give her back!" His columns shot forward like drills, slicing at the air around them. They placed their feet against one of them, evading to another, disintegrating them with their feet, dipping back to avoid two scathing their brow.

"We can't dodge well in midair," No, that was just an excuse. Their hands clasped around Eri's trembling form protectively. "We won't let go! We'll never, ever let her go." Her running away, then crawling back to save them, plaguing their mind. "We'll never... let her go through that again!" Their white eyes slit with acrid spite.

"What kind of hero do you want to be?"

"I want to be strong so no one has to worry about me."

"I want to offer my hand to everyone in this cruel world."

"To always win!

"To always save everyone!"

Purple discharge sprung from their hands, wrapping around their body, screaming higher and higher with their warcry, slamming their feet into one of Overhaul's pillars, the sheer wind pressure tearing apart whatever got in their way. Overhaul leapt after them, hand forcing his pillars to converge on the glowing entity, their body beginning to emerge from the light, two emerald-blue eyes glowering back between matching, faded bangs. "Hyraaaaaah!"

Their body shimmered and blurred, disappearing before any of the pillars could pierce them. What happened after was a blur. Dren was blown away with Overhaul, the towers of concrete demolished under the tidal wave of wind. The edges of the sinkhole expanded, colliding with the bottom of the pit as the heroes took cover under Ryukyu's body, even she struggled to stand against the wind. Nighteye stared back at it all with a frown.

Spinning through the bright blue sky, a red cape at their back. The person clutching Eri was revealed to the horizon. Yuki and Izuku were gone, in place was someone in Izuku's hero costume infused with Yuki's SIVA barding, the wounds of their body nonexistent.

When they opened their eyes to gasp at what transpired in the last few seconds, freckles dotted their cheeks in a diamond pattern, eyes a fusion of green and blue with a hint of red around the pupil. Their hair was the same as Izuku's only with a highlight tint of blue and Yuki's long ponytail. "Eh?"

Down in the depths of the ruined underground facility, the heroes recovered from the blast, inspecting their demolished surroundings. "What just happened?" Ryukyu swore she saw Yuki and her partner a second ago, and then the next they were gone.

Ochaco looked closer, breath hitched upon seeing a blue dome shatter, Dren's mangled form shuffling toward a rising Overhaul. The Vex code dripped like blood, his left arm torn apart, half his face bleeding while Overhaul's head was bleeding, repairing his arm. "Chisaki, Dren!?"

"That was unsettling..." Dren growled, clicking his words whilst looking up at the sunlight. "I suppose... now would be a good time."

Back in the air, the person leaned back in the air, Eri still holding onto them for dear life.

"That kick must've blasted us into the air, similar to All Might's New Hampshire Smash, or our Air Force Smashes, did we lose control again?" They thought about it, eyes wide. "No, that can't be right, why are our legs not - wait, 'Our', 'We'? What happened to our head? It's like Izuku/Yuki's memories are all flooding into one another!"

Shaking their head, they saw the damage to their legs was fine, better even! "If we used SIVA/One For All at One-Hundred percent our legs would've been pulverized - heck, our whole body!" It was a baffling, unfamiliar circumstance, however, when Eri looked to them, she only saw their broad, fanged smile peeking from the mask bobbing against their temple.

Down below, Overhaul stumbled about, "I never told her about her power; much less how to use it. Eri, naughty girl... you belong to me!" He wouldn't stop, moving toward Dren who shared his vision, bloodied hand reaching for Overhaul's. "In order to realize the man's greatest wish, I need you, Eri."

"Then let's take her back, take time itself!" Dren's voice mangled with a frenzied tone, allowing his body to be deconstructed, white specks of code falling around Overhaul who fell to his knees, staring up at the sky, the Vex code streaming into his body, blood no longer escaping his wounds. Time... he world rob the secrets of time's very manifestation!

"We have to stop him!" Ryukyu rose to her full height only for Nighteye to speak up.

"You needn't worry, he is not going to target any of us for the time being," He could see it all, every horrifying frame in gruesome detail. "He'll pursue them both and Eri, t-tear open the sky itself, he'll kill them both and escape with Eri." An ice-cold shiver struck their souls, no more than their best friend, Uraraka.

"We can't let him - ah," Her body gave out, unable to move once she collapsed. The villain that was crushed under the rising shadow in the distance sucked it all away. "I want to move, but... I'm all out of power; Deku, Yuyu!"

Two large, black wings groaned within the dust cloud, a large beast clanking together from the flesh, and metal. "I'm sorry, I foresaw it."

Above them, Ryukyu felt her blood boil, fanning out her wings. "We can't sit here and do nothing!" Her dragon friend's daughter and the boy with a kindhearted soul were in danger, they had to back them up.

"Given the shape you're all in, nothing you do can stop him, not anymore..." Nighteye couldn't see a future out of this, nothing manifested, all roads led to the conclusion that they would lose this battle. Again fate, and against time itself.

"That doesn't matter!" Ochaco refused to acknowledge that fate, gravitating what she could to help lift herself up off the ground. "We have to do something, and help them! Yuki's always looked out for us, helping us become better heroes even if it put her own dreams at risk! And Deku, he's my best friend who's done just as much! They wouldn't give up when things seemed impossible, so neither will I!"

When they landed outside, the road was torn up by the sheer force to slow their fall. The streets were empty, giving them time to recover from the shock. Whatever happened, their body was on fire - no, wait, it was cold now. "We used all our power but we're okay; bones and all, huh!"

SIVA's new form has merged your bodies | You are no longer Yuki nor Izuku | Maybe... Yuzuku?

"Wait what!? We merged bodies!?" That threw them back a bit, looking head to toe before SIVA chuckled.

|It is temporary|

They deadpanned. "Geez, thanks for the free heart attack." Shaking that thought, it would make sense why they felt their memories together, and why SIVA was in both their minds. "Also, Yuzuku? Hmph, nice ring to it."

Eri's Quirk has reverted your injuries too | Her power is spectacular | Akin to the Great Machine's power

Setting Eri down, they knelt to meet her gaze. Her horn was still releasing slithers of gold light into the air. "Is this your power? You healed us?"

Eri stepped back in fright, seeing the merged hero double over in pain, something inside of them twisted about, pulling itself apart at a level not even SIVA could perform to a degree. "O-our body... it's been torn apart from... the inside!" They coughed up.

"Because she has no control over it!" A distorted, gnarled voice made Yuzuku's body flare with an alert, snatching up Eri in time to evade the splintered road; rows of spikes were sprouting forth. "She made have activated her Quirk in time but she doesn't know how to turn it off; Isn't that right, Eri!?"

Overhaul and Dren were no more. The mechanical beast was gargantuan, housed within a strange armature that resembled a massive V-Shaped chassis with a metallic spinal cord lined with brass ribs. The segments and their jagged ribs all clanked to the left and right while the chassis rose high.

The angular head was shaped to resemble a bird's skull with two jagged slits for eyes glowered red. The beak was torn open to reveal Overhaul fused into the maw by wires, his veins pumped full of white streams of code, the same white code trickling around his body.

Its shoulders formed in angular crescents, sprouting long arms draped in torn robes of blue silk bearing SIVA's insignia. The wings that stretched from its shoulders were wide, the membrane dripping like hot magma, manifested as solid code. Several luminescent feeler tentacles protruded from the back of the machine's head.

"She has the power to rewind people, that's her secret," Overhaul gestured with his hands. "Use her right and you might be able to revert someone back into a monkey; You keep carrying her like that and you'll be rewound back to nothing, didn't we tell you the girl was a curse? HaNd HeR oVeR - only way to stop her is to disassemble her - BrEaK hEr - or did you both want to be wiped from existence - TiMe!?"

Using Mirio's cape, Yuzuku wrapped Eri up against their back, using small clusters to anchor her body to their own to keep any velocity from harming her. "Never."

Hearing this, Overhaul raised his larger hands, white code rumbling to life over his spindly fingers until he clapped them once, pulling on an invisible seal. High above the streets, the sky itself started to bleed, a wound into a bright, vibrant reality seeping through into their own. Yuzuku's eyes buldged.

He's... tearing a rift | The conflux shard inside of them | It's accessing one of The Nexus's domains!

However, that revelation with Eri's Quirk, made them think. "You rewound our injuries before they were broken, we never even felt the pain..." Murmuring to themselves, a hopeful warmth developed their chest. "Your Quirk... is a blessing, Eri!"

Hearing this made a tear fall from her eye, dripping down onto their shoulder. It evaporated quickly, their body's temperature began to soar, higher than before. Purplish-red scars bled across their skin, blue nanomachines swarmed their body, converting it, replacing it all with metal.

"We understand her Quirk's effects now, how fast it's accelerating, so, we'll break ourselves faster than she can heal us!" A mint green mist escaped their body, the lightning enlarging, amassing more with every increase.

Onyx armour coated them head-to-toe. The boots pointed, a blade jutting from the back of the shins with a blue band around the neck with a SIVA node on the front. The legs were coated in standard black barding, a blue sash torn at the left hip with SIVA's symbol.

The torso was slim, the breastplate covered with four wide ascending pyramids, the hems blue. Flat pyramids sat on their shoulders with the same blue accents, bands under the pauldron. Gauntlets fixed with circular, narrow plates jutting at the elbows, a blue diamond by the wrist. The gloves are black with blue-tipped fingers.

Izuku's mask hung at the neck with his rabbit mask flapping behind the nape, tinted black with blue accents now, two blue ribbons extending from the ears. The helmet resembled Aksis's with its two horns but was split down the middle, a visor built inward. The two eyes are jagged rectangles burning emerald. Green wires connected under the jaw, between the joints too. Electric green bolts enveloping Yuzuku, their hue turning purple.

"One For All-!" The boots appeared to split apart with the Quirk's scalding lines, same for the gauntlets, the wild energy unleashed for all its worth. "-Perfected-!" Large nodes formed on the road, curling like thorns around them, the tarmac reduced to rubble just by walking. "-One Hundred Percent!" "Eri, please, don't hold back your power!"

Her small hands hooked to their shoulders, horn continuing to glow, infusing them with her temporal Quirk. Emerald flames following Yuzuku's eyes.

"Neither of you realizes the true value of her ability - Of ThE nExUs - Quirks get exponentially stronger as you develop them. I performed countless experiments, extracting her power to conceive it into its ultimate - PeRfEcTeD - form!" He clenched his fist toward them. "Her power rewinds the species back to a time before Quirks ever existed! Don't you see!? Eri represents the end of Quirk evolution - YoUr SaLvAtIoN!"

Overhaul crushed the corners of buildings, reconstructing them into towering spires to curl like fingernails toward Yuzuku, wings threshed wide, slicing apart anything caught in their path, converting tremendous amounts of matter into weapons to surround them. "The ability to convert all of humanity back to how it should be - DeAtH! We could end this infected society - PuRgE - this hero sickness!"

"We told you, you're nothing but a hypocrite who hurt an innocent little girl! 'Salvation'? You can't say that crap after all the people you've hurt!" Yuzuku countered, clenching their fists. "So come and take her then!"

"SHE. IS. MINE/OURS!" Overhaul's fanatical words increased in a haste, sending forth his concrete bombardment. "Naive brats like you - AzUrU - can't understand how to use her! It's up to US to cure - SaLvAgE - humanity!"

The spires of concrete struck the street, displacing slabs of tarmac into the surrounding area, missing Yuzuku entirely. When Overhaul blinked, his hardlight barrier formed. It didn't stop them from bending their right knee, a contrail following their foot. "SMAAAAASH!"

The force behind their attack shattered the shield, creasing Overhaul's chassis entirely as the monumentous machine spiraled high into the sky. Shockingly, he recovered quite quickly, rather, Dren within the husk did, expanding the wings so that several spots could appear across the membrane. Instantly, seven lazers honed in on Yuzuku's form so with a single thresh of their hands, they avoided the white beams, breaking their arms only for a single flash of pain to vanish in an instant.

Then their eyes widened with a grunt. "Her power's increasing, Chisaki said she had no prior training, so she's just pumping out all her energy without restraint," They had to keep this up. Retorting to using air force to glide about the air wouldn't suffice forever.

Overhaul slipped away into the Nexus above, forcing them to give chase, manifesting Blackbird's wings under Eri's feet. Looking back, they held up a thumb. "You're doing great, Eri, now we're going on a little adventure, hold on tight!" She nodded, and they sped up sharply, leaving their world behind in a flash of white code-

. . .

. . . .

"Gah!" Yuzuku coughed.

Rebuilding Yuzuku's body within the Vex Domain was an experience for both them and Eri. Once inside, the scar of their world bled below a wide, square platform. The whole atmosphere was exotic, beyond their world or anything even SIVA's memories held. The atmosphere stained a midnight blue tinted with lilac. The horizon was lined with angular walls reaching higher than they could see, the ground nonexistent. Gargantuan triangles breathed reddish light from their sides in some locations.

The only 'land' were various, grey mountainous structures of smooth matter given form with blue clusters of code akin to the volume sympathy from a sound program. The platforms around them would fade in and out of the world; spheres producing blue energy, pulsing at their centers. Green building blocks manifested between gaps, bridging platforms, or merely suspended in the air.

Within the Vex Domain | No Splicer has ever set foot here | The world manifested by your perception of the Vex

"So it isn't even real to us?" That was very confusing. Landing on a platform, Yuzuku questioned what reality they were in anymore.

However, what you see is the Vex's discarded creations | A collapsing Domain | Be warned, the threats in here will still kill you

Their head pounded with pain soon after; leaping to hover above Overhaul who cackled at the sight of them running, crawling up from under the platform. "Welcome to the one place you have no control over - OuR dOmAiN!" His hands crushed smaller platforms, reconfiguring the cubes into nozzles filled with a white, electrical liquid. "I'll remove you from both worlds!"

The lazers missed, Yuzuku twirling through the air to widen the gap. "We need to get in close - use everything at our disposal!" Bending their fingers, massive cones of air pressure shattered the devices producing plasma. The attacks slammed into Overhaul's arms, holding out the palms to release two massive lines of energy.

|Get ready|

Behind them, SIVA twisted one of the towers, aligning one of the spheres so that the strange energy pushed them away from Overhaul's attack, a jump pad. Another came into view, Yuzuku utilizing it to launch themselves at Overhaul, practically disappearing as their fist tore through his right-wing with ease, spinning around to fire a Devil's Ruin at the left, splitting the membrane.

Your minds are one | Eri's power will devour you | So use... all of my power, all of One For All!

That invigoration halted their flight, bringing their arms down by their sides, releasing an unbelievable aroura of blue and green power expanding over the Domain like wings themselves. Their arms overflowing with the colors of the spectrum, lines coursing up their arms with untapped potential. "Perfected Infinity!"

Their entire body cast in colors, ripped through Overhaul's chassis, curling into the symbol of infinity, spinning around for a roundhouse straight to the beak, decimating a tower behind them with just the air pressure.

With a single breath, Yuzuku tore across the twilight, bringing their left fist through another beam of plasma, flipping around to ax-kick through three hardlight shields, shards scattered far and wide. Twisting the hips, Yuzuku's right hook tore through the left hand, dispelling the attack into stars. The galeforce rippled over Overhaul's body, slamming the monster into one of the towers.

He shook his head, reconstructing the lost wings and arm with the matter around them, only to hesitate, a scream in the wind at the tip of Yuzuku's boot as it drilled through the metal giant's chest, piercing the tower like an arrow with several halos behind them. Flying around in a wide arc, the tower became lopsided, collapsing into the void below with Overhaul leaning forward, wings hung over his form protectively.

"Here it comes..." They braced for the roar that shook the Domain enough to dislodge several hexagonal columns from above, their sleek appearance melted down between the dozens of beams produced from the wide veil cocooning Overhaul. Yuzuku performed many teleport shifts between them, sprinting across a falling column, diving between two more to run down the side of a tower vertically, the beams shredding the structure above.

Once in position, they leapt forward, bringing a massive pillar with them in both hands, swinging wipe to swat Overhaul from left to right, hoisting high for an overhead slam, his hands breaking the matter down, leaving him wide open. "This is the end, Overhaul/Dren!"

"BeGoNe AzUrU/dEkU!"

He clasped his hands together to vaporize them in a single blow, consuming them and Eri in a hail of white light that refracted off their shielded fist, waves of hot electrifying liquid split into five points at their fist. Obliterating Overhaul's arms, tearing through his chest to catch the small, glass shard of pulsing code, tearing through the spine of the chassis, dragging Overhaul by the ribs down toward the seam in reality.

In one, bone-shattering toss, the pair pierced the veil once more, the slit between their world and the Vex Domain closing forever. "No, WhAt HaVe YoU dOnE!?!" Catching them by surprise, Overhaul's spine wrapped up to swat the hero plummeting toward the earth again, forcing them to guard for Eri's safety.

The street was torn apart on impact, using a dozen barriers to soften their blow, turning to take the brunt of the collision with their front. Once their feet slowed against the tarmac. They spun around, mask clattering behind them at the edge of the sinkhole. Their hair pulled back, emerald flames expunged from Yuzuku's orbs.

However, between their fingers, the shard of the conflux was shattered into particles, forever locking the Splicers from entering that Domain again. Overhaul's human body above was slumped over, eyes obscured by shadow, his fingers twitching once he regained consciousness. "Why can't anyone-!" To their perplexion, Overhaul broke apart his gargantuan state, the metal and flesh swirling around him like a blood storm. "-SeE tHe BiG pIcTuRe!?"

"I told you... a person like you can't possibly change the world that way!" Yuzuku berated, swinging their arm wide. "We won't let your tampering with people's lives stand any longer!"

The massive wings released one final burst of energy, their frames deconstructed by Overhaul a second later. The beams were flailed toward the streets surrounding the battle. With an overturn of the street behind them, Yuzuku flew through the air, dispelling the beams with their legs, backhanding another with a barrier while headbutting the last, snorting the stinging liquid from their nostrils.

"I'm - We'Re - going to tear down this entire world, rip up the foundations!" Yuzuku zipped around them, skin burning up under all their armour while facing Overhaul's manic eyes. "You're all blinded by some outdated sense of what's right - FoOlS!"

Their body reconfigured what remained, forming a brass suit coated in tattered ribbons, leaving Overhaul's torso and head exposed. Even his wings were smaller now, only able to produce two beams from the membrane. "You're just pretending to be heroes - I WON'T LET YOU STAND IN MY/OUR WAY!"

"When he's injured he has to pull himself back together again, in a way, he's like us," Their eyes narrowed. "However, if we keep breaking away at his armour, he'll have less mass to work with, his power's already declining without anything else to consume!"

His attacks didn't come close to scathing them, Yuzuku shredded the right side of Overhaul in an instant, forcing him to turn toward the merged teen whose body radiated with power beyond limitations. They circled each other, Overhaul missing them with another beam as a barrier protecting him from their own countermeasure.

"If we can't save... the one small girl in front of us..." They propelled themselves toward the villain, warping to avoid any and all their long-distance attacks; punches shattering dome after dome in protest. Once more, his body was forced to reform, less metal coating him, half his face merged with Dren's, revealing two eyes that shrunk in terror at what loomed above. "...how can we be..."

Dozens of titanic fists swelled in the sky, a flash of a Fallen that encompassed the city entirely, caging Overhaul in its claws. The fist dispersed with that grueling visage, striking his body with an invisible force that sounded like cannon fire. Leaving Overhaul with little to no mass left to shield him from the hero, the sky webbed by blue lightning, darkening their face, leaving only two white eyes of a devil to greet them.

"...a hero who saves EVERYONE!" Eri's power caught Overhaul, rewinding his form back to when it was once a terrifying proxy, only for Yuzuku's fangs bear; fist colliding with his cheek, dismantling his plague doctor mask, knocking the man out cold.

Grabbing his reformed arm by the wrist, Yuzuku let out one final defiant cry, tossing the leader of the Shei Hassaikai and Dren the Anointed down into the ground once more. Gliding to their feet, Yuzuku turned amongst the dust, facing them to ensure no other tricks were pulled. But judging by their vitals the fight was over. They've won.

Ochaco, clutching onto Nighteye to keep the spike in his stomach stable, could only stare; flabbergasted by what she witnessed of... whoever it was that beat Overhaul. The dust dispelled around them, revealing the tremendous power unleashed from Yuzuku. Nighteye never once looked away. "Nighteye?"

"But I saw it... Chisaki made his escape while Midoriya and Azuru lost their lives, that is... the inflatable future...! I saw it so clearly!" His eyes were left stunned, his whole worldview dissolved into dust. "But this new... different set of events..." "Does this mean that the future... can be changed!?"

"We won't let that happen! Even if it's already decided!"

"We'll twist that future!"

It was quiet, the world black with Nighteye's outlines turned white; His frown peeled back for a restful smile.

To Be Continued...

I can't feel my wrists~! It's a running trend at this point. Okay, so let's be honest, should've really made this a crossover but I don't want to deterrent people from Perfected, sue me (Not really).
