To my bad luck I wasn't able to catch up with you even though you lived across the street from the school because my bodyguard wouldn't let me so I had no choice to wait until the next day to see you. It was a Thursday but according to the juniors in your class you got sick and stayed home. I should have known I wondered how long you stayed in the rain.

Later that day I went to the bakery and your dad greeted me. "Hello Adrien it's nice to see you."

"Hi how is Marinette?" I asked with a half concern tone.

"Sick but nothing to worry about." Tom replied with a smile. "She's sleeping right now and we need to let her rest."

"Adrien are you here to see Marinette?" Sabine your mother asked as she walked over to us.

"Yea I heard that she got sick." I replied.

"It's just a simple fever she should be back at school by tomorrow." Sabine stated with a smile.

At that moment a costumer came in the bakery and she seemed to have been good friends with your parents based on how they talked to each other so I left the bakery. Before I got in my dad's car I saw a teenage guy arguing with Luka while Luka stayed quiet so I walked over to them. "What's up dude." I asked Luka.

"This guy is blaming me for the dent on his car." Luka replied pointing to the dent on the guy's car.

"I know that you did it with your guitar." The guy exclaimed.

"Why would I dent your car with my guitar? Wouldn't my guitar be damaged too if I did?" Luka asked raising an eyebrow.

I looked at the car and at the dent. "I think a cat did it and I have a very good idea about what cat it was." At that moment a black fat cat walked out from under the car. Around the street lived that cat I would always see him and I even named him Plagg.

The guy drove away not even apologizing to Luka and Luka looked at me. "Thanks dude."

"No problem." I replied before getting in my dad's car and it drove off.

The next day I didn't see you until lunchtime you were sitting at the same bench as before. When you saw me you waved at me shyly. I smiled and sat next to you. "I'm so glad that I had the courage to wave at you. I thought you wouldn't forgive me after I hurted you at the basketball court that day."

"I'm the one that should be apologizing to you I'm so sorry." I replied with sincerely.

You started to tear up with happiness. "I'm sorry I'm so relieved. I'm so silly aren't I." You wiped your tears and smiled at me.

"Yes you're a little silly but I think that it's kinda sweet." I replied.

"Really you do?" You asked softly.

"I'm just like you. I'm in a place far away from people unknowing how to get ahead in the world." I replied. "Things may be hard sometimes but instead of crying alone call me...well I...anyway I have nothing more fun to do besides I don't think I'll get bored if I hang out with you."

You smiled. "Okay I'll call you if I feel that I'm about to cry."

The girl that I saw in the art class the other day suddenly came up to me. "Here this is for you." She handed me a piece of paper before walking away. I looked at the paper confused it was a drawing of a star.

The bell rang and we went to class. I didn't see you again until after school. "Practice for the meeting?" You asked me confused after I told you that you had to practice for the recruitment meeting.

"Yes you seem like the type of girl that wouldn't handle these types of things." I replied before taking you to the library. "We might find a book or books about how to give speeches in front of people."

"Do you think we'll find something here?" You asked.

"Hay Adrien what are you doing here?" Alya asked walking up to us.

"I'm looking for a book about how to give speeches." I replied.

"Oh what a coincidence I have the book you're looking for." She handed me the book before looking at you. "Hi I'm Alya Cesaire."

"I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng." You replied with a smile.

"Nice to meet you well I have to go meet up with Nino see you later Adrien hope to see you again Marinette." Alya said before walking away.

"Alright now just talk to me as if I'm a student coming to check the club." I said once we were in the club room and after we read the book. "Keep calm breath and talk carefully."

"Okay...let's see...welcome everyone I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng thank you so much for coming. Let me tell you the reason I decided to create this fashion designer club...um."

I raised my hand. "Question do you have experience with designing?"

"Yes I love to design I actually want to be a fashion designer when I grow up. My idol is Gabriel Agreste...heh your father."

"Of course he's your idol another question what are the animals in your poster about?" I asked.

Your eyes suddenly started to glow of happiness. "Oh I love cats dogs and especially hamsters! When I'm older I actually want to have one of each with whoever my husband is along with three kids named Emma Hugo and Louis! And-"

"Marinette!" I exclaimed stopping you from your rambling. "That's very nice but be careful with your rambling."

You blushed. "Right sorry." You giggled softly.

Once we were done practicing we headed out to the front of the school. "Do you think people will come to the meeting?"

"We won't know until the time comes but we put up all those posters so one or two people should come." I replied but then I noticed a poster we put up was missing. "Didn't we put up a poster here?"

You nodded. "I'm sure we did."

"You mean the poster in the middle?" A random student asked walking up to us. "I saw someone from the student council take it down since it wasn't approved by them did you two put it up?"

At that moment you were called to go to the student council room and you walked to the room. It didn't take long for you to come out. "What happened? What did they tell you?"

"Recruitment for any new members for the club is forbidden." You said sadly. "The fashion designer club isn't an official club so any club activities is forbidden."

"That's ridiculous and not to mention unfair did you just say okay?" I asked in disbelief.

"I tried to convince them but they said rules can't be bent." You replied.

I try to think of something. "I don't want you to give up. There has to be a way. It's not right for you to give up because of this." What I didn't know about was that Nino was watching us.

"So are you dating that Dupain-Cheng girl?" Nino asked me later that day when I was at his house.

"What!?" I asked in disbelief.

"I mean it's kinda weird that you're helping her with that fashion designer club especially since like you said multiple times before. You don't like school activities." Nino replied.

"No I'm just helping her create the club since she's new to the school I'm not going to join." I stated. "I'm just her friend."

On Monday at school I was just walking in when I saw Kagami storm past me and heard her say. "What's wrong with the students in this school."

"You're a strong girl and that scares many people you don't have a good reputation from your other school." I said outloud without thinking but it was true based on what was said by other girls.

Kagami looked at me with a glare than she sighs. "I thought I was moving past the bully outlook I had in my last school. I was really trying to seem like a normal girl here." She walks away without another word.

I shrugged and headed to my class when the girl that gave me the art before walked up to me. "Hi did you like my art that I gave you?"

"Huh?...oh yeah it was pretty thank you." I replied with a small smile. "I'm Adrien Agreste by the way. I'm a senior."

"I'm Manon a freshman!" The girl Manon said happily.

"Well Manon it's nice to meet you but now I need to go to my class." Manon nodded before walking away.

Later that day I met you at the club room. "Instead of putting up posters why don't we pass out flyers directly?"

"I asked about doing that but they said that I couldn't." You replied eating your lunch.

"Than a petition won't work either." I stated.

The door suddenly opened and Nino walked in. "Mind if I help? By the way Hi Marinette I don't think we officially met I'm Nino Lahiffe."

"Hi nice to meet you I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng." You greeted back with a smile.

"You want to help us to recuit club members?" I asked surprised.

"Yea I heard that you are having trouble since the student council isn't letting you recruit members." Nino replied. "This sounds fun. I actually think you should talk to someone who could give you advice on what to do."

I called Juleka to come and soon after Juleka and Luka walked in the room. "Adrien did you want to talk to me?" Juleka asked softly.

"Actually she wants to talk to you." I said gesturing to you.

You stood up. "Hi you're the senior class president Juleka Couffaine right?" Juleka nodded. "Hi I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng a junior and I was wondering if you could help me create a fashion designer club."

"Sure." Juleka replied. "In order for any club to be created the club will need members. For club activities you need at least three members and an advisor."

"But it's the recruitment of the members that is not being allowed." I replied.

"You already have the members." Luka stated. "I see three here Marinette Adrien and Nino."

"No." Both me and Nino said at the same time.

"I'm only here to help a new friend of my best friend who became my friend too." Nino stated.

"I'm here to help my friend I don't want to be involved in fashion any more ways than I'm already am with my dad." I responded. "We can't recuit members but there's no rule in inviting people right?" Juleka and Luka shook their heads no.

The next day I passed Kagami again and I quickly turned to face her. "Hay Kagami are you interested in fashion designing? My friend is creating a fashion designer club."

Kagami looks at me. "That sounds interesting but electrons for the student ouncil president is coming up and I won't have time for club activities. Fine someone else." with that she walked away.

I thought about what she said. "Hm elections for the student council."

During lunch time I walked in the library to see Alya. "Hay Alya want to join the fashion designer club that my friend Marinette is doing?"

Alya looks at me then thinks about it. "The fashion designer club? Oh right Nino told me about it since he's helping you too. I'm not interested in fashion that much but I'll think about it."

I nodded. "Okay."

"You had no luck either?" I asked you when we met up after school.

"No I asked a group of students but no one was interested." You replied sadly.

I nodded. "I thought it would be easier but it seems it will be a lot of work."

"The freshman might be interested but I don't know any of them." You replied.

When you said that it gave me an idea. We went to the art room and sure enough Manon was there. "Hay Manon this is my friend Marinette."

"Hi!" Manon greeted and you greeted back with a smile.

"Hay Manon would you like to join the fashion designer club?" I asked her.

Manon looked at us curiously. "The fashion designer club? I would like to but I don't know anything about fashion designing."

"That's okay I'll teach you. You don't have to be an expert to join." You replied with a smile. "Plus you're already a good artist it shouldn't be to hard for you to learn."

"In that case I'll join!" Manon said happily.

"By the way what's your full name?" You asked curiously.

"Manon Chamack." Manon replied.

"The daughter of Nadja Chamack? No way I haven't seen you since my family moved to China." You replied.

"Wait you know her?" I asked confused.

"Yes she's the daughter of one of my mom's friends." You replied. "She's two years younger than me."

"I see." I replied.

That was how we gain the first member of your club Mari and that was just the start of our adventure of creating the fashion designer club.
