Onward!
"Come on, let's get you a little cleaned up at least." I sigh as I look down at Shippo, covered nearly head to toe with the dirt from riding under Koga's tail the day before. Koga had left a while ago with a couple of his henchmen, Ginta and Hakkaku where their names if my memory served me correctly. True to his command, none of the wolf demons had even dared to approach me, let alone make threats against myself or Shippo while he was gone. They just sat back and watched us curiously.
'If only there was a way for me to get Shippo safely out of here.' I frown in thought, walking with the tiny fox demon up to the waterfall at the head of the cave. I kneel down to be level with him, reaching into the falls and cupping my hands, bringing them back in and gently wiping down his face.
"We gotta get outta here, Yua." Shippo murmurs quietly to me as I frown, gently washing behind his ears. "I laid mushrooms out for Inuyasha and the others to follow, but while you were passed out the wolves went and gathered them all up!" I blink in surprise at that, impressed by Shippo's ingenuity.
"Maybe the mushrooms got them far enough to where Inuyasha will be able to find out scents?" I suggest, checking behind his ears before gathering more water to wash his hands and his feet. His dirty clothes would have to wait till later.
'Like my own.' I sigh as I look down at my dirtied white top. I reach back in once more to cup some water in my hands, spraying it over my face to try and wipe it clean.
"You know, if you would like, you could just take a bath in the waterfall?" A low voice states behind me, and I turn to see an oversized wolf demon watching me with interest. I frown, feeling disgust roll through me at the clear insinuation behind his words. "Oh don't look at me like that, princess. We won't look." The man chortles, some of the other wolf demons howling playfully in the background. I roll my eyes, sighing softly as I stand.
"Buzz off, you creep." I mutter, turning to gather Shippo in my arms. The large wolf demon's hand shoots out, grabbing at my wrist and forcing me upright to face him instead.
"What did you just say to me?" He snarls lowly, glaring down at me. "You know, Koga said that we weren't to eat you. He didn't say that other things were off the table." I blanch at that, knowing that the wolf demon was right. The few comrades he had behind him made noises of agreement, though others stayed far away.
"Koga is going to kill you, man. Don't do it."
"You really think he wants you touching his possession?"
"It's not like she's his mate." The wolf demon that currently held onto me argued over his shoulder, before turning back to face me with a perverted smirk. "And unlike other female humans, this one looks like she's built to take it." My eyes narrow at that, nerves quickly replaced with outrage.
"You couldn't handle me." I bite back at him, barely holding back a wince as his grip tightens to a bruising force.
"We're going to find out, aren't we?" He chuckles lowly, drawing me in. I press my hand to his chest plate, focusing my energy there.
"Not today!" I shout loudly, before pulsing my aura outwards, the guy's hand ripping off from around my wrist with the force of the hit, and it sends him flying back into the cave. Without hesitating I grab onto Shippo, tucking him under my arm and jump out through the waterfall. Using my aura I levitate us both just off of the ground, using the speed of flying to put plenty of distance between us and the pissed off wolf demons back in the Den. I do my best to try and remember directions of how Koga got me here, but I fail miserably as I bring us to a dead end at a large cliff. Hearing the footsteps of the demons catching up, I look down at Shippo as he stares up at me with wide eyed wonder, clearly still trying to catch up on what just happened.
"You need to transform and float away. Go and find the others!" I tell him, gently grabbing his one wrist.
"Wait! Yua! What about you?!" Shippo shouts in protest even as I whip him around and throw him from the cliff-side. Dropping to my hands and knees on the edge I hold my breath, waiting for the familiar sound of a 'pop' as Shippo transforms and the sight of a pink bubble. When he finally does transform he's nearly out of sight, relief flooding me as I smile to myself.
'Shippo's safe. Hopefully he can find the others.' I think, before gasping when I was suddenly grabbed by my hair and brutally pulled back and upwards.
"Just for that, I won't go easy on you." The same voice from before grumbles into my ear, my stomach churning with disgust as I feel his hot tongue slowly drag along my neck. I struggle against the demon's hold, his buddies jeering in the background, telling him to teach me a lesson as his hand moves around to my front to grab at my right breast. He squeezes roughly, pain shooting through me as I shout with out with disgust. Using my whole body I force my energy outwards, sending the wolf demon flying back once again. Instantly some of his buddies start laughing, teasing him for his lack of dominance over me. I turn and glare at my assailant, creating a bow and arrow with my aura and aiming it directly at him.
'How dare he touch me?! How dare he threaten to rape me?!' My enraged thoughts echo through my head, and I'm not the least bit phased when my arrow turns red in color. 'I'll kill him!'
Unless the boar that landed on him did the job for me.
Blinking in surprise, I look at the wolf demon now squished pathetically underneath the large animal. The surprise ebbs away at my rage, my aura returning to it's purple hue as I slowly look upwards to see Koga and his two companions looking down at me. Ginta and Hakkaku both looked nervous and stunned, whilst Koga stood there with a smirk on his face.
Why wasn't he mad?
'I almost killed one of his men, and I helped Shippo escape. Shouldn't he be furious with me?' I frown at the confusing reaction coming from the Alpha wolf demon above me, watching as he moves smoothly to land between his pack and myself. His gaze hasn't left my own, not since we locked eyes upon his arrival. In the background I can hear the pathetic wolf demon that had tried to rape me whimpering shamefully, pleading that he didn't want to die as he was helped away by his companions. Koga steps up close to me, leaning down slightly so that we're eye-level, his nose brushing against my own.
"That settles it. I'm making you my woman." The wolf demon claims assuredly, and it takes a few seconds for the words to sink in.
"S-say what?" I ask nervously, not sure if I had heard him right. I go to take a step back, forgetting that I was on the edge of a cliff. Koga's muscled arm snaps out, wrapping around my waist and strongly pulling me back flush to his front.
"You heard me." His voice growls lowly in my ear. "You're mine." A shudder rushes down my spine, eyes widening as my entire body stiffens. The commanding tone he took caused my very bones to ache, my breath shortening as I tried to wrap my head around what was happening.
Why would a demon like Koga want me?
'Inuyasha doesn't even want me.' The self deprecating thought creeps up in my mind before I can stop it. 'But a wolf demon, one who obviously despises humans enough to let his wolves eat them, does? I mean, he sounds so sure about it. There wasn't any hesitation.' I chew on my lower lip, unable to stop thinking about the constant pull Inuyasha seemed to have towards the dead priestess. I wasn't Plan B for once, and even though I didn't love Koga and I definitely wouldn't be his mate, it didn't mean that it didn't feel good to finally be someone's first choice.
"Hey, Koga, I thought you were going to eat her when you were done with her, not marry her." One of his cronies speaks up from behind us, Koga loosening his hold on me enough to turn and face the guy.
"You don't want her, she's a human!"
"Idiots! This woman can see the Sacred Jewel. The Birds Of Paradise aren't the only ones with a shard, you know? With her ability we'll be able to gather all the Sacred Jewel shards in the region."
'Well, that explains it.' I can't help thinking dryly, sighing as I refrain from bowing my head in self loathing. 'Of course he doesn't actually care about me! I'm just a tool he wants to control!' I frown. 'Not that it would matter anyways. I'm not going to be his woman.' I add to myself stubbornly.
"That would make us incredibly powerful." One of the wolf demons utters with realization.
"Our pack would be unstoppable!" Another exclaims with excitement.
"That's the idea, yeah. So, you see, she's way more valuable to us than some female demon." Koga goes on confidently, turning his blue eyes back towards me. "You're name is Yua, right?" He asks rhetorically, and I can't help a scoff of disgust at his statement.
"You claim I'm your woman and you're not even sure about my name?" I frown, pushing at his chest once again to try and get him to let me go. Instead he pulls me in closer, leaning his head down to the point where his nose brushed against my own once again.
"Wolves mate for life, so you're mine now." His gaze narrows in obviously challenge. "Got that?" His voice lowers in tone, and it causes me to snap. Not thinking about the repercussions, I reel my head back, before slamming it forward directly into that regal nose of his.
"Fuck!" I shout, rubbing at the pain on my forehead as Koga stumbles back a step, holding his hand over his nose and looking down at me with clear shock on his face. The men around us were chattering nervously as I glared at their leader. "I don't belong to anyone! You got that?!"
"That chick almost broke Koga's nose!" One of the demons shouts in the background, and it's then that I notice some blood trickling down from under where his hand was still cupped over his nose. I was torn between feeling triumphant and feeling slightly guilty at my admittedly overzealous reaction.
"Honeymoon's over. She's dead now."
I swallow thickly, Koga still looking at me in shock, and I began wondering if the last demon was right. Maybe I had just worn out my welcome? Slowly he brings his hand down from his nose, and thanks to his demon healing, it had already stopped bleeding.
"You can't still be hung up over that Inu-trasha guy?" He asks in mild disbelief as he regards me. I blink at him, before feeling a blush tinging at the tops of my cheeks.
"His name is Inuyasha, and what business is it of your's if I was?!" I snap back at him angrily, glaring at the cocky asshole in front of me. Koga leans down slightly, not getting as close this time, I note with amusement.
"Seriously, what's a girl like you see in that asshole?" He mutters in disbelief at me, a genuinely confused frown on his face. "He obviously doesn't fully appreciate you if he can't even be bothered to come to your rescue."
Okay, that hurt.
My eyes narrow further at that, looking away stubbornly from the wolf demon in front of me so he couldn't see just how his words affected me. Inuyasha is trying to find me, I know he is.
Wasn't he?
"The next time I see him I'm going to put a spear through his heart and feed him to my wolves." Koga goes on cruelly, and I can't help being slightly shocked as I look up to him in wide eyed disbelief. I kept forgetting that Koga was still a blood-thirsty demon, even if he showed moments of civility and kindness. Koga moves away from me then, going over to the dead pig and throwing it casually over his strong shoulder, as if it didn't weight a thing. He turns to me, confident smirk on his face now. "Then he won't be much competition anymore, just a pile of old bones." Coldness washes over me at that.
There was no doubt in my mind that Koga would go through with it given half the chance.
We didn't return to the Den as I had predicted we would, instead Koga led us, and the rest of the men that met with our group on the way, towards an outcropping of rocks a good distance in the opposite direction of their home. When we arrived at the destination Koga brought me to rest beside him as we all hid in the little cover that the jutting rocks provided in the shadow of a large mountain. I lean against the nearby bolder beside him, looking up towards the mountain above.
"This is where they nest, isn't it?" I murmur in realization, Koga nodding beside me as his gaze remained locked on the horizon, face tense.
"Yeah, and one of them at the top possesses the Sacred Jewel shard." Koga replies lowly, before turning towards me with determination. "You have to figure out which one." I nod, frowning as I look from him back to the mountain, able to feel it already, though distantly. One of the demons flying above us suddenly turns, roaring down at our group, clearly seeing us. Koga stands abruptly, turning to his men. "They're on to us! Okay men, you take on the grunts yourselves." Koga instructs, before turning to look at me once more. "Come on, Yua." And without further preamble he wraps his strong arm around my waist and starts to bound up along the side of the mountain. I frown deeply seeing the first bird approach us, Koga cutting through it easily with his claws, before kicking the next one down directly in it's face in quick succession. He breaks through the initial wave with ease, the wind whipping about so harshly that I can barely keep my eyes open as he climbs even higher towards the summit. "Yua, can you see which one has the jewel shard?!" Koga calls over the wind, and I manage to open my eyes to look up at him with annoyance.
"I can't see, not with the wind blowing like it is in my face!" I argue needlessly, his irritated expression showing just how unimpressed he was with my response.
Then I feel it.
Gasping I look up further, seeing the glow coming from straight above us on a large ledge. I point upwards. "There, right above us!" I call out to Koga over the rushing wind, his gaze looking upwards towards where I was pointing. Koga heads directly for where I tell him, quickly closing the gap between us and the jewel shard.
The rock in front of us suddenly breaks apart, sending Koga reeling back as an absolutely massive Bird Of Paradise demon comes bursting forth out of the rubble. I can't stop the shout of surprise that leaves me as we fall back down the mountain, Koga pulling us onto a ledge after using one of the falling boulders as momentum to jump onto it. He presses me into the rocky wall tightly, his body caging over my own protectively as the large rocks continued to crash around us.
'He's really protecting me. Like I'm his to do so.' I realize with surprise, his strong chest staying firmly pressed against my back until Koga is sure that the danger of falling rocks is clear. He leans back, his one hand still pressed to the mountain side beside my head, the other moving to hover close to my waist, as if ready to catch me in case I stumbled.
We both watch on in awed shock as a Bird Of Paradise, easily three times the size of it's counterparts, flies away from the side of the mountain.
Along with obviously being bigger, it is darker in colouring than it's fellow demons. The most noticeable difference, other than it's size, is that instead of one harpy being connected to the top of it's body, there were two. It slowly turns in mid-air, it's glowing red eyes zoning right in on Koga and I as we stood on the very, very small ledge. I could feel the hair raising on the back of my neck, my energy sparking at my finger tips as the nerves took over.
"We've been waiting for you and your Sacred Jewel shards!" The one harpy speaks up, his voice low and raspy. I can't help leaning back instinctively, eyes wide.
The fuckers can talk?!
"My brother and I have been seeking them everywhere." The same harpy continues on, and I can't help the scowl that takes over my face.
Now these were the type of demons I was used to running into by now.
"How convenient that you've decided to make a home delivery, and come to us!" The harpy's brother agrees. "It saves us the trouble of hunting you down." Behind me Koga scoffs confidently.
"I've got something to deliver alright." Koga replies easily, looking down at me then. "Yua, where is the Sacred Jewel shard?" He asks lowly, obviously trying to make sure that the gigantic bird in front of us didn't hear. I frown, concentrating as I look at the Bird Of Paradise in front of us, before finally seeing it shinning in the one place it was going to be nearly impossible to get to.
"In it's mouth." I murmur quietly back, looking towards Koga with disbelief. "How exactly do you plan on getting it from there?"
"You'll get a glimpse of the shard as we swallow and devour you! A wolf and a human, delicious!" I wasn't sure which harpy brother it was that said that, but nonetheless it was enough to send a cold shiver down my spine. The Bird Of Paradise opens it's mouth slowly, a light so strong and bright filtering out from inside that it nearly blinds me.
'The light of the Sacred Jewel.' I frown deeply, the bird demon slowly moving in towards us. I move, quickly creating my bow and arrow out of my energy and aiming directly for it's mouth. Making a quick shot, the blast from my energy clashing with that of the jewel shard erupts into an even brighter light, the force causing both Koga and I to lean back against the wall of the mountain behind us. A screeching cry can be heard, before suddenly a jaw full of sharp teeth pushes through the blinding light and directly for us. Koga moves quickly, wrapping his arm around my waist and jumping down from the ledge, the Bird of Paradise crashing into the mountain overhead as he rushes down the side of it. He continues down to where his fellow wolf demons have some of the smaller birds tied up, groups surrounding them and killing them as they could.
"Ginta!" Koga shouts out, running up to him and letting me go. I look up to the wolf demon in shock. "Protect, Yua." He orders shortly, and I frown.
"What are you going to do?! You can't take on that thing by yourself!" I exclaim, actually feeling worried for the guy. Koga smirks cockily down at me, his fangs glinting in the sunlight.
"You're worried about me?" He chuckles in amusement, his hand reaching out and running through the bangs of my hair. "That's a far cry from trying to break my nose only hours ago." He adds lightly, and I can't stop a small blush. His hand drops down from my forehead, and Koga turns, grabbing one of the spears jutting out from a dead Bird Of Paradise nearby.
"Koga, what are you planning to do?" Ginta presses then, his leader looking back over to him with a confident smirk.
"I'm going to cut it's stupid mouth wide open." He declares easily, and I frown, shaking my head again.
"It's a bad idea! You shouldn't be going alone!" I caution him, already knowing that if the bird had been able to deflect my arrow, leaving it relatively unharmed, it was more powerful than he was giving it credit for.
"I'm the only one strong enough to take that giant turkey on." Koga declares, spinning the spear over his head a few time before turning and running back towards the mountain. "Here goes nothing!" I frown as I watch him go, tense.
"Don't worry sister, we'll get you to safety." Ginta speaks up, Hakkaku coming to stand on my other side as well. I blink, before looking over to Ginta.
"Sister? You mean me?" I ask, pointing to myself.
"You're Koga's woman, so we treat you like one of us now!" Hakkaku speaks up. I open my mouth, about to argue with him, tell him that I'm not Koga's woman, before hesitating.
'Well, I mean, what good would arguing the point do anyways?' I sigh to myself, before looking back up towards where Koga was still charging up the side of the mountain. Suddenly screams could be heard from behind, all three of us turning to see a Bird Of Paradise swooping in. Ginta and Hakkaku bravely both step in front of me as we all try to duck out of the way. Ginta, however isn't so lucky. Turning sharply my eyes widen as I see him dangling from the demon's talons, being flown away up the mountain. I move quickly, creating another bow and arrow with my aura and taking aim directly for the Bird Of Paradise that had Ginta. My arrow slices right through the wing of the demon, causing it to fall to the ground with Ginta managing to wiggle losse from it's grasp mid air and use the body to break his fall. I rush over to Ginta with a few of the other men, kneeling down as he lays on the ground looking thankful.
"Hey, you alright?" I frown at him, before his eyes widen with fear as he points behind me.
"There's more!" Turning sharply I look up, eyes widening as I see two more Birds of Paradise depending down on us quickly.
"YUA!"
'I-Inuyasha?' I gasp inwardly, able to recognize that voice anywhere as the very half demon himself leaps into view, Tessaiga held high and coming down on both of the bird demons, taking a wing from each. He lands, golden eyes immediately seeking me out with a concerned frown on his handsome face. I feel butterflies erupt in my stomach, standing and running towards him before I could school my reaction. "Inuyasha!" I can't help exclaiming his name out loud this time, elated to see that he was alright. His open arm reaches for me as I wrap my own around his neck, hugging him tightly as I bury my face against him, taking in a deep breath of his familiar pine scent. I could feel his strong arm wrapping around me protectively, his own face burying into my neck before he takes a deep breath in as well. "I'm so glad you're okay." I murmur softly, leaning back slowly to look up at him. He drops his arm from my waist so he can cup my face, his thumb rubbing gently along my cheekbone.
"Are you hurt? Did anyone touch you?" He snarls lowly, gaze dark. "I can smell that flea-bag all over you!" My mouth drops open slightly in surprise at the tone of utter possession his voice takes on, swallowing thickly as it causes heat to race through my veins.
What an inappropriate time for that to be happening.
"No, no one has hurt me, no one has touched me." I assure him, pressing my hands to his chest where I can feel it vibrating with low growls, so low that I couldn't hear them myself, just feel them. "Koga kept me safe." Inuyasha blinks at that, looking a little put off.
"You call kidnapping you safe?" He snaps angrily at me, and I frown in return, stepping back from him.
"He did it for a good reason." I find myself defending the Alpha wolf demon, crossing my arms under my chest as I level Inuyasha with a look. Besides, it was true, he kidnapped me for the sake of his Pack, so they could defeat the Birds of Paradise.
Was this was Stockholm Syndrome felt like?
"Good reason?!" Inuyasha scoffs, but is cut off from any further ranting as Sango, Miroku, Shippo and Kirara arrive.
"Yua!" Sango calls out as Kirara lands. "Are you alright?!"
"Sango! Kirara! Miroku!" I exlcaimed happily, overjoyed to see the rest of the group looked unharmed.
"Yua!" Shippo's tiny voice cries out again, and I can't stop from rushing forward to meet him as he leaps off of Kirara and straight into my arms. I hug him tightly to me, running my fingers through his hair. Though I had been fairly confident in Shippo's abilities, a part of me had been scared that when I sent him off of the cliff he wouldn't end up finding his way.
"You were such a brave boy today." I compliment, Shippo leaning back to smile up at me proudly.
"Yua, what's gong on here?" Sango asks then, both she and Miroku still straddling Kirara. I frown, turning around to look back towards the mountain where Koga was currently still ascending. If frown when I couldn't see him, turning back then to see the other Birds Of Paradise looming over us by the dozens. They just kept coming, like there was no end to them!
"We're in the middle of an all-out war between the Wolf Demon Tribe and the Birds Of Paradise. We have to stop them." I explain, Miroku nodding as he slides off of Kirara and moves to stand in front of the entire group.
"Alright," He states, reaching for the prayer beads wrapped around his Wind Tunnel, "then I'll take care of them." He finishes confidently. "If you value your lives, stand back!" He adds to the wolf demons behind him, before unleashing his hand. "Wind Tunnel!" With what appeared to be little effort all the visible Birds Of Paradise were sucked away in his Wind Tunnel, only leaving the feathers as evidence as he closed it up once again.
"Amazing!"
"I've never seen anything like it!"
The wolf demons cheered behind us, but one voice drowned them all out as their Alpha reappeared on a lower ledge, having obviously come back to see what the ruckus was about.
"I don't have time for dog training today, so I'll let you escape!" Koga exclaims cockily from where he stood above us. "Go home, puppy! Get out of my face!" He shouts, turning away to head back up the mountain.
"Shut up!" Inuyasha bites back, looking up furiously at the wolf demon. "Dream on wolf! You're going to pay for kidnapping Yua!" He exclaims, his voice filled with deadly promise. I look towards Inuyasha, surprised.
'Now, is he upset because he thought I was in danger, or because Koga took his favorite toy from him?' I can't help thinking dryly then. Koga turns around, his eyes narrowed at Inuyasha in threat.
"Hey, dog-breath! Take this chance to run, but keep your hands off my woman, got it?" He demands, openly claiming me in front of Inuyasha and the others.
"His woman?" Miroku asks, clearly confused, both he and the rest of the group looking at me with interest now. "Is there any truth to what he is saying, Yua?" The only thing I can do is hang my head in exasperation.
"She can see the Sacred Jewel so she's perfect for me!" Koga insists, and I can't help an irritated growl at that. Head snapping up, I frown as I glare at him.
"What?!" Inuyasha snaps back at him. "She's our jewel detector! Go and find your own!"
"So that's all it is, huh?! I'm just your little shard detector?!" I shout, pointing at Inuyasha as I do. "Well I'm tired of only being wanted for what I can do! You both can go straight to Hell, because I won't be either of yours'!" I scream at them, both Koga and Inuyasha now looking at me with identical looks of bewilderment. Inuyasha is the first to recover, and obviously the first to let what I said fly right over his large head.
"See? You're living in a fantasy you flea-bag!" Inuyasha turns back towards Koga with narrowed eyes.
"It's not a fantasy!" Koga denies passionately then, leaning forward slightly. "I've claimed her as mine!" His blue eyed gaze moves up towards me, locking on my own. "I"m in love with you, Yua!" I blink in absolute shock, to surprised to even feel bashful at his open proclamation towards me.
Say what now?
"You've only known me for, like, two days!" I shout at him in disbelief. "How the hell are you in love with me?!"
"It didn't take much for me to know, Yua. Your fighting spirit, your tenacity, your loyalty. It's all wasted on that ungrateful pup." He points angrily towards Inuyasha, never breaking eye contact with me. "You're far better off with me, and you know it." Koga goes on with a tone of superiority. "It's time for you to make a clean breakaway and give up that pathetic mutt-face. He's not good enough for you, forget about him. I'm going to kill him someday anyway!" He adds, pointing his spear at Inuyasha in threat. "Once you've been with a real warrior like me, you'll never go back to scraps again!" He adds with a lewd smirk, before he throws his head back and laughs loudly, clearly amused by his own declaration, and for all intents and purpose, obviously very assured that he had moved me with his argument.
'Well,' I blink, watching him, 'I mean, he does make a few very compelling points.' I admit to myself, feeling an embarrassed blush warming my skin from his open admittance of love, and the compliments he had just showered me with publicly.
"He's pretty direct, isn't he?" Shippo asks over the cheering of his men in the background, clearly supporting his claim.
"I wish I had that kind of audacity." Miroku admits, though he looks entirely unimpressed by the display. He glances towards the side at me, and I can't help floundering slightly when his unimpressed look turns knowing. "You liked what he had to say to you? Didn't you?" He openly teases me, and I sputter in response.
Why couldn't I have normal boy problems?!
"Nobody talks to Yua like that with me around!" Inuyasha suddenly proclaims, his body visibly shaking with anger as I turn my surprised gaze back towards him. "How dare you humiliate her?! She's not your property!"
'Inuyasha…' Was he defending my honor right now? I feel butterflies erupting with a renewed force inside my stomach.
The words he had just said meant way more to me than any of the things Koga had just spouted off.
Koga huffs, before turning and leaping up the side of the mountain, Inuyasha moving quickly to follow him with Tessaiga at the ready. I swallow thickly, shaking my head then.
"They need to focus on the Bird Of Paradise or they'll both end up being killed!" I frown deeply in worry for both the men, Koga obviously seeing Inuyasha climbing to catch up with him as he turns to look at the half demon over his shoulder. I can no longer hear what they're saying to one and other, both of the them too far up the mountain now.
I feel the pulse again, knowing the jewel shard is near.
"Inuyasha! Koga! The jewel shard is just above you! Maybe another fifty feet!" I cry out to them both, Koga reaching the ledge first. Inuyasha looks over his shoulder towards me, a frown on his face as he nods, before continuing up the side of the mountain.
"Fifty feet more?!" Koga calls back loudly in question towards me, having landed on the large ledge. "'Cause there is nothing at the peak!"
Then the large shadow emerges from the clouds, heading straight towards Koga with an opened mouth. Koga dodges, jumping further up the side of the mountain to face the gigantic demon as it turns upwards and races towards him, grinding it's body along the rock wall as it does. I can see up until the moment the two meet, Koga lost to my sight as the Bird Of Paradise continued to push upwards along the mountain.
Something was off, I could feel it.
Then the bird demon turns, and I see the horrific sight of Koga's right arm latched between it's sharp teeth as he dangles from the mouth, his handsome face twisted in pain. He kicks back, managing to break free, but I noticed the shard floating out of his arm as he plummets to the earth. Throwing my hands up I focus my aura to surround him, frowning in deep concentration as I slow his fall back to the peak of the mountain where Inuyasha meets him. I watch intently as the Bird Of Paradise, now with two jewel shards, hovers overhead. Clearly it's intent was to return for Koga's remaining jewel shards. I can't see what's going on with Inuyasha and Koga on the peak, but I can see as the large bird demon opens it's giant mouth, producing the light from both shards as it does. It's almost like a second sun in the sky, the real one almost setting behind the horizon as late afternoon turns to evening. I feel the pulse of Tessaiga, my breath catching in my throat as the sword's energy overwhelms that of the shards, another blinding light emitting from the Tessaiga that disintegrates the large Bird of Paradise on contact. Watch on in amazement, I realize that Inuyasha had successfully used the Wind Scar. As everything settles, my next thought is surprisingly of the wolf demon. Koga would no doubt need help down from the mountain, and I had best get up there before they both tore at each other's throats.
"Sango?" I ask as I look to the other woman, frowning. She simply nods for me to get on Kirara's back with her, lifting off smoothly into the air towards the top fo the mountain. When we land Inuyasha is still standing poised with Tessaiga, a look of wonder on his face. Clearly he was just as surprised it had worked. I jump off from Kirara's back as I see Koga sitting behind him, painfully clutching his arm. Kneeling down beside him I reach for the injured forearm gently, moving it to lay in my lap.
"What are you doing?" Koga asks lowly, his gaze looking between me and his arm with uncertainty. "You shouldn't waste you powers on something like this."
"You're hurt, so I'm not wasting my energy." I tell him gently, before allowing my hand to hover over his arm, the healing power of my aura surrounding the wound, and slowly all evidence of the injury was erased. Koga smiles thankfully at me, and I find myself giving him a small one in return.
I mean, besides the hole chauvinistic claiming thing, he had actually looked out for me.
I stand, turning to look for Inuyasha, heart sinking when I saw he had gone down the mountain on his own. Sango steps over towards me, her hand gently resting on my shoulder with a knowing smile as I sigh heavily.
"Come on, let's go." She murmurs gently, moving back over to Kirara. I get on behind her, Koga surprisingly jumping on behind me for a ride down. Though he was healed, he looked absolutely exhausted as we landed on the ground, surrounded by his warriors. I slide off of Kirara, turning then and reaching out to grip his recently healed arm to steady him as he slide off as well with more effort than it normally would have taken him. His legs shook, knees buckling as I throw his arm over my shoulders and place a hand on his chest and back to try and keep him upright.
"I single-handedly got rid of the pigeon from Hell," I could hear Inuyasha boasting as he comes through the crowd of wolf demons, "now there is just this flea-bag wolf to deal with." There is a pregnant pause after that, and looking over I can see Inuyasha watching Koga and I, his intense gaze locked on my hand on the demon's chest. I frown at him, watching his lips twitch in distaste as his eyes, filled with utter disgust, slowly look up into my own. I don't shy away, I can't, not anymore. Instead I meet his heated glare with one of my own head-on.
"You're not going to be dealing with anything, you understand?" I tell him seriously, glancing towards Koga as he weakly glared back at the half demon. "Koga is in no condition to be able to fight you fairly."
"I can still take him." Koga weakly protests, moving to shift off of the support I was giving him as he directs himself to Inuyasha next. "Trying to get me while I'm down? I'm still able to whip ya!" Inuyasha smirks at that, pulling his fist back as he charges forward.
"Still with the insults? You're dead!" He shouts, clearly ignoring what I had said before. Frowning I decide now is as good as any time to use something I tried my best to avoid.
"Inuyasha?" I murmur softly, Inuyasha stopping short and looking at me with wide eyes. His mouth drops slightly, seeing the obvious look on my face, knowing what it meant. "Down!" Like a charm it works, sending Inuyasha falling face first into the ground. Koga hardly has the energy to taunt him, stumbling backwards as I brace myself to support him again, looking towards Ginta. "Get him out of here, quick." I instruct, Ginta hesitating for only a moment before nodding as he and Hakkaku urge Koga to take their help. Koga allows them to support him now as the entire pack turns and tucks tail, running back towards their Den.
"Hey! Come back! Cowards!" Inuyasha shouts after them, head lifting up just in time to see the wolf demons disappearing around the nearby bend. I sigh softly, shaking my head with a frown as I turn from the retreating pack, looking down towards Inuyasha instead.
"Just let it go." I tell him easily, waving it off. This seems to only make him angrier.
"It's like you enjoyed your time with that flea-bag!" He snaps at me, standing up and looking at me with narrowed eyes.
'Fine, he wants to play this game, I'll play.' I think stubbornly. "Maybe I did." I reply with a raised eyebrow. "What's it matter to you?"
Inuyasha's mouth moves, no words coming out as his amber eyes widen at me, clearly unsure of what to say in return. I couldn't say I wasn't a little hurt at that, even though it did feel good to throw his unrequited feelings back into his face.
"That's what I thought." I murmur lowly, before looking towards the others. "Can we please get off this mountain now?" I ask with a soft sigh. Sango, Miroku, and Shippo all nod, though each of them look incredibly uncomfortable after watching the whole debacle. Usually I would be embarrassed airing Inuyahsa's and mine's dirty laundry out in front of them.
Frankly, I was just too tired and butt-hurt to care at the moment.
We camped on the mountain for the evening, the trek too dangerous to make during the night. By the time we finally reached back to the abandoned village the following day it was late afternoon, the sun setting low in the sky and casting a pretty golden hue tinged with pinks and purples.
"I need a bath." I mutter more to myself than anyone else.
"Yeah you do. You still smell like wolf!" Shippo exclaims, his nose wrinkling in disgust at me. I look at him with dry amusement.
"Go on, tell me how you really feel." I reply the the boy, Shippo looking up at me confused. I wave it off, telling him what I said didn't mean anything, before Sango speaks up.
"There is a hot spring just over there, hidden in the trees." She states, pointing to a sole outcropping at the edge of the village. "Why don't you go and wash up, and the rest of us will get things ready for the night?" She kindly offers and I can't help but eagerly take her up on it. I hurriedly gather my things for bathing once we all step into the hut, casting another unsure glance towards the silver haired half demon sitting against the north wall. He hadn't uttered a single word to me since that night on the mountain, his sour mood persisting. I actually started to feel a little guilty about what I had said, even though I knew I wasn't I the wrong. Sighing heavily I force my eyes away from him, waving to the others before I head for the hot spring, looking forward to some time alone to finally digest everything that had happened in the past couple days.
Including the handsome wolf demon's proclamation of love.
'I can't get a single guy to take me on a date back home, and yet here I find one shouting his love for me from the top of the world, literally.' I think ironically as the scene on the mountain plays out in my head. Chewing on my lower lip I look down at me feet while I walk, the road was dry and dust kicked up with each step I took. 'Yet I'm still in love with the guy who can't love me back…' I sigh heavily, finally coming to the hot spring, having to walk through some low shrubbery to get to it. The trees and greenery would provide privacy, though I seriously doubted that just anyone would stumble upon me here. I strip, throwing my clothes into the water along with a bar of soap, before slowly entering the water as well. Hissing softly as the steaming water burned at my skin, the uncomfortable prickling sensation quickly relaxed the further I waded in. I make quick work of washing my clothes, only exiting the hot spring long enough to hang them over a low branch to start drying, before I begin to wash myself. I smother my body in vanilla scented soap, washing away days worth of dust and grime from the little miss-adventure. Once finished with shaving, I work at my hair, shampooing and conditioning it to get out the painful tangles from being wind-whipped running with Koga. Just as I manage to rinse out the last of the conditioner, an all too familiar, husky voice speaks out to me.
"You smell much better now."
Barely holding back a startled scream, I lift my head from the water to see Inuyasha standing at the side of the hot spring, looking down at me calmly.
As if I wasn't naked as the day I was born.
The water in the spring was clear enough that you could see near the surface, my breasts no doubt on full display until I managed to get over my shock enough to cover them. Red-faced I flounder, unsure of what exactly I should yell at him for. Sneaking up on me? Or spying on me naked?
It's then that I notice his eyes hadn't wandered lower, though. That they were locked on my own the entire time as I float neck deep in the water. A different uncomfortable feeling settles over me as I notice this, heart racing as my hands clamp tighter around opposite upper arms.
"H-how long have you been here?" I ask, voice cracking slightly as Inuyasha shrugs casually. Again it blows my mind that he's standing there like this isn't entirely inappropriate.
"Only a few seconds. The others were getting worried about you, so I thought I'd come and check. You've been out here a long time." He replies easily, his gaze leaving mine to only look to the side at the ground respectfully. I frown in confusion at that.
"Then wouldn't Sango come and check on me?" I point out, watching Inuyasha flinch ever so slightly at being caught in his blatant lie.
He had come to check on me because he was the one worried.
He slowly turns his gaze back to my own, a frown marring his features. "Do you love that flea-bag?" My eyes widen in shock at the blunt question, mouth falling open slightly in surprise.
"No!" The answer is nearly shouted by me, my shock clear. "Why would you even ask that?"
"After the way you defended him, I thought maybe something was going on between you two." Inuyasha answers, frown still set on his face. "You smelt so heavily of him, so much so it drowned out any of your natural scents. I thought for sure you two had…" Inuyasha trails off awkwardly then, and it takes a moment for what he was trying to say to click for me.
He thought Koga and I had, had sex?!
"Y-you think I fucked a man I had only known for two days?" I ask lowly, feeling completely and utterly offended. Inuyasha winces slightly at my blunt statement, his hand moving and taking Tessaiga out from his belt, laying the sword on the ground. "Do you really think so little of me?" After all the times I had admitted to loving the bastard, here he was thinking I could be easily swayed? Instead of answering me, Inuyasha starts to pull the top of his fire-rat kimono off, the white kimono underneath falling to the ground soon after. I blink, brain just barely keeping up to register the fact that he was currently undressing. "Woah, woah, woah! What do you think you're doing?!"
"I need a bath." Inuyasha answers simply, his hands going to the belt of his bottoms now and undoing the tie, pulling the sash out from the loops and tossing it to the ground as well. Though Inuyasha had kept his eyes respectfully on my face, I found I wasn't nearly as strong in my self control. My eyes slowly wandered over broad shoulders, lean and muscled arms, a cut chest and ridged abs. Without the belt to support his pants, they hung low to reveal the delicious v settled between his hips. I snap myself out of it, looking up towards the canopy of the trees surrounding us and turning my back to him.
"You think that you can accuse me of sleeping with Koga, and then get naked with me?!" I shout towards the heavens, blush burning at my cheeks as the image of his muscled body played out in my mind over, and over, and over again. Heat pooled low in my hips thinking about the muscled v on hip, wondering how strong his thrusts would be as he plowed forward into…
A splash is all the warning I get that Inuyasha had indeed joined me in the water, gentle waves rippling against my skin from his movement. I thought for sure he'd go and wade off to his own little area, but I was proven wrong the minute I felt his sculpted chest pressing against my bare back.
"I can, because you're mine." His low, timbered voice growls into my ear, almost unnaturally low. My back stiffens as his hot breath washes over my wet skin, a tingling sensation left in it's path. White hot arousal throbs through my whole body until it all focuses at a single point between my legs, a gasping breath leaving me as I feel his claws ever so lightly drag along my shoulder and down my spine, disappearing under the water to continue to follow the line down to my lower back. My mind was blank in that moment, scrambling for purchase, something to bring me back to reality.
"You don't love me." I find myself gasping out, remembering what he had said to me all those weeks ago.
"I lied." Inuyasha's husky voice replies simply.
All of a sudden it felt like I couldn't breathe.
The water slapped against my skin as I start away from him, turning around quickly to look up at his molten eyes, filled with heat as he stares back down at me. Swallowing thickly, I shake my head in denial, feeling tears burning at the corner of my eyes as my chest constricted painfully.
"Kikyo-"
"Is no longer a factor." Inuyasha replies evenly, wading forward to try and close the distance between us as he locks me in the most intense look I had ever seen on him. "Don't bring her into this, she doesn't belong here." He murmurs softly, motioning between him and I. I choke back a sob of disbelief at his words.
How could she not be a factor? He loved her.
"You love her!" I point out brokenly, wading back away from him as he continued to slowly advance on me. Inuyasha doesn't break eye contact as he shakes his head slowly.
"I don't."
"And when did you come to that conclusion?" I ask sarcastically, gasping when my back suddenly hits against one of the large boulders surrounding the spring. Inuyasha closes in, his gaze tender, but with a hit of predatory satisfaction as his hands brace against the rock on either side of my head, effectively trapping me in.
"Does it really matter?" He asks, his warm breath washing over my face as he speaks, head leaning in to brush his nose against my own softly. "I know I haven't been fair to you, Yua." He murmurs softly, my hard heart melting at his words. He reaches up and grips my chin gently in his fingers, tilting my head so he could run his nose along my jaw from ear to chin ever so lightly, taking in a deep breath of my scent. "I want to make that up to you." He adds lowly, his lips slowly brushing along my jaw to retrace the trail that he had made, working his way back up to my ear. My own breathing is hurried and shallow, thighs shaking as my hands remained flattened against the boulder behind me to either side of my hips, at a loss of where to even put them in that moment. Did I push him away? Did give into my need to feel his naked body pressed against my own and tug him in closer?
"Inuyasha…" I gasp his name out as pure hot need rushes over me in a tidal wave, his teeth ever so gently scraping just under my ear, careful not to break skin. His answer is a growl of approval, vibrating deep in his chest.
"Like hell I'm going to let that flea-bag claim you as his." He snarls lowly against my neck.
Everything comes grinding to a halt for me.
"Excuse me?" I ask, voice low as I press my hands to his chest and push him away from me. Clearly also shocked by my change in tone, and the way I had pushed at him, Inuyasha backs away and blinks at me in surprise. "That's what this is all about?" I ask sharply, anger slowly replacing any arousal I had felt before.
"Well…I mean…yeah?" Inuyasha states, looking absolutely dumbfounded. "That asshole tried to claim you as his, remember?"
"So now you come at me here in the hot spring, knowing I'm vulnerable to you, just so you can plant your flag here first?!" I exclaim in disbelief, shoving him away harder. He falls back into the water, only barely catching himself from going under. "How fucking typical!" Inuyasha's eyebrows shoot up now, as if finally understanding where I was coming from.
"Calm down, Yua! That's not it at all!" He frowns, wading forward towards me once more. I glare at him, crossing my arms tightly in front of me once more.
"Don't touch me." I hiss out in warning. It was apparently useless, however, as Inuyasha moves in regardless, placing one hand back on the stone beside my head, his other gripping my chin more firmly this time to force me to look up at him when I tried to look away.
"This isn't about me wanting to claim you before Koga simply because I can." He states firmly. He leans his forehead against my own, my head held steady in his grip. I narrow my green eyes at him, trying to detect any trace of a lie, but his own amber ones are filled with such honesty I find my walls crumbling once again. "I love you, Yua, and I've been an idiot not to have accepted it all this time." He murmurs, his voice so soft and even slightly unsure as he lays it all out to me. Eyes wide, my chest aches with so many emotions, but it was easy to tell which one I felt the most.
Love. Pure, unconditional love.
It washes over me like a tidal wave in that moment seeing it reflected in Inuyasha's eyes.
"I want to make you mine, not because I think another demon will get to you before I can." He goes on gently, before flinching slightly. "Well, my human side feels that way." He amends, letting go of my chin so he could reach up and run his fingers through my silky, wet hair.
"And you're demon side?" I ask softly, breathless as he moves in closer to me, his head tilting slightly as he does.
"Wants to claim every inch of you as his." Inuyasha growls lowly, the statement restarting the fire between my legs as my whole body shudders with heat. "My demon side wants every other demon in the area to know you're not theirs to touch, to even look at." His breath fans hotly over my trembling lips, my hands moving, one clasping behind his neck, the other resting on his hard chest over his beating heart. "Is that really so horrible of me?" He asks lowly, his voice carrying it's husky timber once again.
_Rated M starts about here in my opinion_
"N-no," My voice shakes with need as his lips brush ever so softly against my own in a teasing ghost of a kiss, "I guess not." I agree breathlessly, before moaning when his hot lips finally claim my own for the first time in weeks. He works me like his own personal instrument, his lips molding and taking whatever mine had to give. His teeth gently bite down on my lower lip, the slight sting causing me to gasp as an electric pulse rushes down my spine, body arching into his own. The minute my breasts press against his hard chest, I know I'm no longer in control on myself. Inuyasha surges forward at the contact of our skin, pushing me back firmly against the rock with his body and lifting me up slightly at the same time with one of his large hands that had snuck around to grab at my ass. A broken moan is lost against his lips as he squeezes it, his other hand moving to my hip and slowly tracing up the curves of my body. I barely have the mind to care that I'm now exposed out of the water from just under my breasts up, his warm tongue pushing through my lips to take dominance over my own, even though he has to be the one to tilt his head back to keep our lips locked together.
Even though I was clearly on top, he still had the need to feel in control.
My shaking hand moves along his chest, rubbing against it and feeling the hard plains of muscle built from hard work and training. I can feel his chest vibrate with a low growl of pleasure against my hand, womanly pride bringing out a more daring side to me as I gently use my nails to scrape down the center of his chest and abs, reaching as far as I could down till I hit the v of his hips. Inuyasha almost whimpers at the feeling, his hand that had been tracing along my side now moving back down to grip my thigh, throwing it up to hook around his waist just above his hips. The action brings our lower bodies together, and I can't help breaking the kiss with a cry of pleasure when my core rubs against his rigid abs.
'I can't be possible, the throbbing can't be getting worse.' I whimper to myself, leg tight around his hip as we lock eyes with one and other. Inuyasha's amber eyes are still molten and dark with heat, no doubt reflecting my own as he breathes heavily through his nose. My chest is heaving as I gasped in air I had honestly forgotten that I needed, my breasts rising to just below his chin, before falling once more.
And then he starts to pull away.
"Nooooo." I groan outwardly in displeasure, figuring he was going to stop again, and I was going to be left with this aching need that I couldn't quench. Inuyasha looks at me with clear amusement, a sexy smirk on his face as he does.
"Come on, out of the water." He murmurs lowly in command, turning and wading out himself. I blink in surprise, watching as his muscled ass comes into view as he lifts himself out of the hot spring.
Before turning and revealing himself completely to me.
I can't school my reaction, not even a little bit, as I see his member. It's semi-hard as he stands there, looking entire human in resemblance. 'Then again, what had I been expecting?' I think to myself, swallowing thickly as I took note of the girth he already possessed, even though he wasn't fully erect. 'H-he's big.'
"Don't just sit there and stare. Come on." Inuyasha goads at me, his hand outreached and waiting. Flushing brightly I look to his hand, chewing nervously on my lower lip. Once I left the safety of the water, everything would be bared for him to see.
Not like he hasn't already caught glimpses to begin with.
Pulling together my resolve, I wade to the edge, taking his hand then and letting him help me up out of the water. I don't miss the way his gaze rakes down my form as I step out, the water streaming off of my curves.
I also don't miss the way he stiffens further almost instantly.
Clearing his throat he turns, grabbing his fire rat kimono top and laying it out on the ground, before turning to me and beckoning me forward. I chew on my lower lip again out of nervous habit, walking up to him slowly. When I get to the half-demon, he takes his thumb and gently wiggles my lip from between my teeth.
"So distracting." He grumbles lowly with heat, his thumb rubbing along the bruised lip. Taking a deep breath, his gaze turns serious. "I'm not going to claim you tonight, Yua. This isn't the place, or the time." He murmurs softly, his thumb moving from my lip as he gently runs the backs of his fingers against my cheek. I lean into the touch, unable to help myself, even as I looked up at him curiously. "But I will make you mine, you can be sure of that." He adds, the tinge of possession back in his voice. "I do, however, owe you for that time in the woods."
"Owe me?" I ask in confusion, brows furrowing as I look up to him. A devilish smirk overtakes his lips, nearly causing my knees to buckle.
"You'll see." He murmurs in return, his hand cupping my face tenderly. "Do you trust me?" He asks softly, his thumb gently stroking along my jaw.
"Unquestionably." I respond instantly, a pleased look overtaking his smirk for a moment, before it's back.
"Lay down." He orders lowly, the command in his voice sending warmth shooting through me once again. I find myself surprisingly not hesitating to do as he said, kneeling down on his kimono, before twisting around and slowly lowering myself back to the ground. Inuyasha moves smoothly, coming down over me in a painfully similar way he had during our last encounter like this. "Tell me to stop if you get uncomfortable." Was the last thing he says to me before his lips are at work, sucking along my collarbone. I try to steady my breathing as each kiss sends a small spark through my body, my frame wiggling slightly under his own as he remain on all fours above me.
I wanted him down on me, pressed against me, inside of me.
Reaching up with both my hands, I tangle my fingers into his hair as his tongue slowly rolls down between my breasts, a soft gasp escaping from my lips as my back arches slightly. Chuckling lowly against my skin, his breath washes over the wet trail he had left behind, causing goosebumps to break out all over me.
"Cold?" Inuyasha asks knowingly, having obviously seen them for himself.
"Shut up." I mutter breathlessly, and Inuyasha's answer was something I wasn't wholly prepared for.
I strangled moan starts low in my throat as I feel something hot and wet trail over the nipple of my right breast, bringing the bud to attention. He drags his tongue around it, over it, until I can feel the nipple hard and tight at the tip of my breast.
My eyes slam shut as my moan turns to a cry when his lips suck hotly at it.
I swear I see stars behind my lids as his assault continues, my fingers tightening in his hair and causing a low growl to vibrate against my nipple from his mouth. I hiss, the sensation almost too much as my hips lift blindly, in search of a friction I hadn't felt in a very, very long time. My right hand moves from his hair, wrapping around under his right shoulder to his back, nails biting in as he scrapes his teeth against the over-sensitized bud. I hold my breath to hold back a scream, mindful that Shippo still had excellent hearing, even with how far away we were from the camp.
"This is why I won't take you tonight." Inuyasha growls against my breast, sucking at it one last time before letting it go with a soft 'pop', his head tilting so his heated gaze could look up at me as I manage to open my eyes and look back at him. "I want you to be able to moan, cry, scream my name when I'm inside of you, and I want to be the only one to hear you." The image that gives me, of him thrusting so deep inside to hit the spot I felt aching right at that moment, his hands gripping at me, moaning my name as he brings us both to completion, almost sends me over the edge right then and there. I could feel the flood of fluids as I shift, breaking free from my core and slowly dripping down my pussy.
Inuyasha's nose flares, fangs glinting in the fading light.
He could smell it.
"Please…" I find myself incoherently pleading in that moment, the heat and the throbbing too much to bear. "Don't leave me like this, not again." I whimper pathetically. Maybe later I'd be embarrassed about how begged him to finish me like some whore in heat.
But in that moment I could hardly care.
Smirk filled with male pride, I feel one of his hands move to gently press between my closed thighs, urging them open slowly. His nose flares again, a feral growl escaping as I'm fully exposed to the early evening air.
Even I could smell my own aroused musk.
'Inuyasha must be swimming in it.' I think to myself, a second of self doubt hitting me. 'Do I even smell that good to him?'
Apparently I do, because the next thing I know he's shifted down to lay on his stomach between my legs, his face level with my exposed center.
"Woah, woah…" I gasp out, face red as I finally caught up to his lightening fast move. Inuyasha has the audacity to place his chin on my pelvis just above where the thin line of my public hair started, looking at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah?" He retorts easily, and I can't help sputtering slightly.
"What are you doing?" I frown nervously, thighs tense with feeling the silly need to cover back up. After all, he was there, and he obviously must have saw everything by now. 'Thank god I shaved tonight.' He tilts his head in a deceivingly cute manner, though the heated look in his eyes reminded me that his intentions where incredibly far from innocent.
Was he really going to put his mouth on me?
"You said you trusted me." Inuyasha points out patiently, rather than answering my question. I blink in surprise at having that thrown back at me so soon. "Let me make you feel good." He fairly well coos, his one hand smoothing gently down along my thigh, before gripping it under the knee and gently pushing it upwards and outwards, exposing me further to him. He's watching my face the entire time he does, waiting for any signal that I wasn't ready for this.
Was I ready for this?
"Grab your knee, keep it raised like this, okay?" Inuyasha murmurs gently in instruction. I find myself mindlessly doing as he says, my right hand coming to cup under my right thigh at my knee. "Good girl." His tone is encouraging, soothing, as he places a soft kiss on my inner thigh. Then another, and another, slowly making his way back towards my center. My mouth falls open with silent moans, the tension building with every kiss, every playful nip and soothing swipe of his tongue as he takes his time working his way down.
'I-it's like he's enjoying this.' I whimper to myself, turned on even more by the thought that he really liked the smell of me, and hopefully the taste of me as well. My neck starts to burn from trying to hold it up to watch him, but I didn't dare look away, not as he locked eyes with me as his left hand gently pushes my left leg out further. I can feel my pussy lips spreading, shivering as the chilly night air brushes against my sensitive skin inside.
I had never been this wet before in my life!
"You're hairless further down." Inuyasha observes with interest, and I feel his warm breath wash over me. I bite back a loud moan, nodding frantically.
"Y-yeah, yeah. I shave there. I don't like the hair along it." I explain, feeling kind of stupid that I elaborated like I did. Why did he need to know why I did it? He chuckles, his fingers of his right hand moving up to gently tug at the hair that I did leave at the top of my slit.
I wanted to feel clean, not like a prepubescent teenager. Personal preference.
"I like it." Inuyasha murmurs lowly, before chuckling softly. "Lower your head back, relax. I've got you, I promise." He murmurs as he runs his fingers soothingly along my plump pelvis. Breathing out through my nose to try and calm my racing heart, I slowly lower my head back, staring up at the stars that were slowly appearing in the dusk sky. Moments pass, and I start to feel the need to crunch up again so I can see what the hell he was doing down there.
And then a warm, hot, firm tongue laps over me from my entrance to my throbbing clit.
My hips shoot up as I take my left hand over my mouth and smother a scream. The heel of my left foot is digging hard against the ground, my right leg I was holding trembling with tension before my hips slowly fall back down onto his kimono.
Only to have him lick me from dripping entrance to throbbing clit all over again in one firm swoop.
This time, however, before my hips can surge upwards Inuyasha brings his free right hand to wrap around my right hip, pressing his open hand firmly against my lower belly and forcing me back to the ground with an amused chuckle.
"You're so responsive." He murmurs in clear delight, and I can't help the whimper that tumbles from my lips.
Sure, must be fun for him.
Meanwhile, I'm wound so tight right now I'm not even sure if I could cum even if I needed to. Without any further preamble, he stretches his arm ever so slightly further around so he can reach down to the apex of my pussy, using his thumb and forefinger to gently pry me apart even more so he could no doubt get a good look at my very swollen clit hidden just below. The hungry growl is the only warning I get before his hot tongue his laving the aching bud with attention, my hips fighting against his hold as I have to shove my hand over my mouth once again to muffle my cries of pleasure. It was so intense, not being able to see what he was doing as I stare up at the stars, feeling his head moving between my legs as his tongue put me to work. Unable to resist, I lean up for a moment, the sight almost enough to send me careening over. His head was bowed, his face pressed up against me as his own eyes are closed in pleasured concentration, his silver hair and dog ears shifting and twitching with each movement he made. As if able to sense I was straining myself to watch, his right hand holding my pussy open lets it go, moving slowly up my body to my right breasts. He squeezes it firmly as he looks up at me with his heated gaze, filled with determination as he tongue continues to bring havoc to my body. Shifting my hand, I bite down hard on my thumb as his fingers roll over my nipple, the electric shocks adding to the tension between my legs. His eyes zero in on my thumb between my lips, a growl far more powerful than the others vibrating against me as he does.
I knew exactly where his mind was when he saw that.
"Inuyasha…can I?" I gasp out as I take my thumb away from my mouth. He pulls away from my pussy, his lips and chin glistening with my juices as he shakes his head.
"Not tonight." He murmurs huskily, gently putting pressure on my chest to force me to lay back down. "But believe me, in the future, I will take you up on that." He adds lowly, as his hand slowly drags back down to rest over my pelvis.
And he's back to work with renewed gusto.
I'm gripping the back of my thigh so hard that I know my nails are making perfect imprints in my skin. The tension was reaching the unbearable point, my clit so sensitive that it was almost painful. Each stroke of his tongue brought me closer, yet further away at the same time.
Then I feel it.
The familiar building, delicious tension that I knew was going to lead to my release. I quickly cover my mouth again, incoherent babbling soon being muffled by it as my left leg tightens in reflex against his side. It causes his head to move, his tongue losing it's spot on my clit that was about to make me cum. With a firm shove, his left hand pushes my thigh back even further than before, spreading me wide open as he takes my clit between his lips and sucks.
Like the drawstring on my bow, I snap.
Inuyasha is holding my hips down with force as he works me through my mind-blowing orgasm, my teeth digging in harshly into the palm of my hand as I cry out his name over and over against it. I can feel his tongue moving lower, lapping up my cum as my body continued to tense and release with the shocks of my orgasm, thankfully leaving my overly played clit alone. Only when the stronger clenches have receded, does he release me, slowly moving up my limp body. As soon as he is eye-level with me, I reach around behind his neck, bringing him down to kiss him softly, not caring about the fact that I could still taste myself on his lips. He moans softly in return, kissing me back just as slowly, clearly savoring it just like I was. When he gently breaks away, he's looking down at me with soft eyes, the heat from earlier still there, but only flickering in the background.
_and it's over_
Exhaustion hits me like a brick wall.
Able to sense it, Inuyasha's soft smile turns wicked in an instant, male pride clear on his face.
"Shut up." I mutter, unable to think of anything else to come back at him with. Chuckling with amusement, he nuzzles my nose with his own gently, before moving to lay at my side. He gently lifts my body, turning me so my back was to him, and pulls me in to spoon against his naked chest.
"Rest for a bit here. I'll wake you when we need to return." Inuyasha murmurs softly into my ear, his arm around me enough to make me feel protected. I nod tiredly, sighing happily as I allow my eyes to close.
"I love you." I whisper into the dark, feeling Inuyasha leave a soft kiss on my shoulder.
"And I you." He responses, his words drifting off with me into the best sleep I had, had for ages.
Well ahem...yep
