A HUGE shout out to: ukitakeitalialover041757, sendou3aichi, Wondla Master, TenebrisSagittarius, Ichidokanna, Eris Neve, Guest, SilverWolfReborn, Guest 2, mstars9, Kagz419, princesstiti, PouringRain-BlazingStorm, vulpeculamoon, MarshWolffe, for your reviews!

Honestly guys, you have no idea what it means to me to see that despite my more infrequent updates that you still reach out. I know a lot of authors say this, and I've said it before, but from the bottom of my heart your reviews do keep this story going.

To explain it further; I'm under a lot of stress from work (no doubt everyone is under these circumstances) and so without the reviews, without the support, I would feel this story is an added stress to continue to update, rather than the stress reliever that it has become knowing I get to look forward to your reviews after I have updated. It makes it so these stories I am working on can continue to be my escape for a few hours, just like I dearly hope they are an escape for you as readers as well.

So seriously, thank you, thank you, thank you guys for giving me something to look forward to doing. It's honestly the best feeling in the world. :)

Onwards!

"You see how helpful having Yua around is?" Miroku compliments as I lead the group towards our destination. We had only been on the road for a few days before word had reached us of a village in trouble, and I had sensed another jewel shard close by. It had taken us through a dense woods so far, and Inuyasha wasn't exactly happy that we hadn't happened upon it yet.

So impatient.

"That's right Inuyasha, so stop your whining before you make her mad again!" Shippo chirps up from Miroku's shoulder, and I have to hold back a large grin at that. Looking over my shoulder towards the half-demon, he has his arms crossed as he looks at me dryly, clearly not impressed with our friend's meddling.

"With your energy being re-directed to more pleasant things lately, you would think you would have a happier disposition." Miroku goes on, causing me to blush and look at the monk with wide-eyed disbelief. Inuyasha looked equally as horrified, both of us having tried to be discreet about our budding physical relationship. Especially for Shippo's sake.

I was not having that conversation with Shippo if he caught us.

"I know I would have a little jump in my step if it was me." Miroku continues on despite our horrified looks, winking playfully at me as he does. I turn away sharply, slapping a hand over my blushing face and dragging it downwards slowly in exasperation.

"Come to think of it, you have been acting strangely in the mornings, Inuyasha." Shippo adds lightly, looking at him curiously. "You've been sneaking off." I inwardly groan at that, knowing exactly why Inuyasha snuck off in the mornings.

The stubborn half-demon still wouldn't let me touch him for a change.

Then again, he hadn't touched me like he had been since the night he was human. For the past few nights Inuyasha would wait till everyone was asleep before crawling in with me to bed. He would hold me through the night, then wake up before the others and leave.

Not before I could feel him hard against my ass, however.

Each time I tried to reach back to help, he would push my hands away gently, utter something I could barely make out about control, before darting away.

It made me feel like the selfish lover in our relationship.

"We're tracking a demon bear that attacked the village, correct?" Sango clarifies as she steps up next to me, thankfully changing the topic of conversation. I look to her gratefully as she gives me a knowing smile, before nodding.

"Yeah, Miroku said one of the survivors told him so." I reply, glancing towards the monk as his face thankfully settled back into an expression of business.

"He said it started out as just a mischievous cub ruining the fields. But then suddenly it grew huge and attacked the village." Miroku takes over explaining. "Inuyasha, you seem displeased about something?" Miroku asks lightly, and indeed he did. Looking over at him he had crossed his arms almost defensively, and was glaring lightly at the ground before Miroku had addressed him.

"That's the understatement of the year!" Inuyasha replies, his tone snappish. I frown, taken aback by his attitude. "Yeah, sure, we've got to seek out the Sacred Jewel shards that Yua senses, but why should I waste my time on a bear hunt when I could be hunting down a wolf?!"

My mouth drops in shock.

'That is what he's been so surly about?! Koga?' I think to myself in disbelief, gazing at him wide eyed. Whereas before his jealousy had been something I had seen as a sign of his affection for me, even a little bit attractive, it now was getting out of hand. I feel an overwhelming sense of protectiveness flow over me. 'Koga looked after me, made sure I was safe…even though he had kidnapped me.' I inwardly groan at my thought process. 'And the poor guy is apparently in love with me.' I can't help remembering the way he had proclaimed it so easily, like he had nothing to be afraid of, nothing to be ashamed of. It made me feel terrible that I couldn't bring myself to feel the same for him.

I was in love with Inuyasha.

And it wasn't because Inuyasha had something that Koga didn't, or vice versa. My love for the half dog demon just…was. There isn't an explanation for it.

'The chances of us running into Koga again any time soon is slim to none. I just hope he's alright after his arm injury, and by the time we do meet up with him he's over his infatuation with me.' I frown, turning away from the group then and staring ahead. I had never had these issues back where I was from. It was rare for me to get attention from men. I hardly knew what to do now that, apparently, I had two of them vying for me. It was stressful because I didn't want to hurt Koga, he didn't deserve it.

To think this was the shit that some women lived for.

"We already know that Koga has two Sacred Jewel shards jammed in his skinny, little hairy legs." Inuyasha goes on bitterly, and I can't help rolling my eyes.

"His legs aren't skinny." I argue, remembering just how muscled they were. I blink, only thinking about what I said after I had said it, turning slowly to see Inuyasha giving me a very dirty look.

"So, in other words, your first priority right now is butchering Koga?" Miroku asks, a sly smirk on his face.

"He's his arch rival in love." Shippo proclaims innocently.

That doesn't stop Inuyasha from reaching over and pounding the kid on the head with his fist.

"Inuyasha!" I snap with a frown at him, watching as Shippo cries out in pain and rubs at the visible lump on the top of his head.

"What did you do that for?!" Shippo cries out, clearly caught off guard. Miroku leans in to talk to the boy softly.

"Shippo, if you don't stop bugging Inuyasha you'll only feel his fist." Miroku coaches, and I can't help snorting slightly in amusement.

Inuyasha had wanted kids?

The bushes suddenly begin to rustle next to us, a group of men that looked to be bandits emerging. I step back with a deep frown, being the closest to where the men were emerging from, my energy sparking at the ends of my finger tips as I readied myself.

"Is that the bear?!" Shippo exclaims in fear, having obviously not seen the source of the noise since Miroku is turned away. The monk comes around, his face dropping to a look of absolute boredom.

"Don't worry, it's just a bunch of ordinary thieves." He states lowly.

"Who you calling 'ordinary'?!" One of the men steps up, his sword resting against the padded armor on his shoulder. "You arrogant bastard! And by the looks of you, you ain't got no money!" He correctly observes. "So why don't you just leave us the women and we'll call it even?" He suggests, all four men now looking over both Sango and I lewdly. I wrinkle my nose in disgust, feeling my skin crawl, and judging by the look on Sango's face, she felt the exact same way.

"Who says if they did you could take us on?" Sango asks easily before either of the men could step up. She glances over to me as she reaches for her Hiraikotsu, giving me a sly wink so we were on the same page.

"Oh honey, believe you and me, we'd know exactly how to handle a woman like you." Another men steps up, grinning perversely as he clearly traces his eyes along Sango's form in her skin tight outfit. Sango smirks, before leaping into the air.

"Hiraikotsu!" She shouts loudly, heaving the boomerang in the direction of the men. I reach out with my hand, manipulating my aura to surround her weapon as it dives at the men, all four of them ducking just in time so as to not be decapitated by it. I allow my aura to glow brightly in my hands, showing them that I too wasn't defenseless. All four of the bandits stood, looking at each other with wide-eyed disbelief before looking towards us with apprehension as Sango catches her boomerang with a soft grunt.

"Consider that your one and only warning." I tell them seriously, hands snapping with my energy. "The next time she won't intentionally miss." I add, nodding towards the Demon Slayer beside me.

A strong electric pulse runs through me, stronger than ever before, and my eyes widen as I look towards the others.

"The jewel shard, it's getting closer!" I exclaim towards them, the rest of the group tensing then as they all looked around the woods that surrounded us.

"What the hell are you going on about?" The leader demands. "I don't hear anything!"

A large piece of a tree trunk suddenly comes flying out from the forest, the men narrowly missing being bowled over with it.

Sango quickly steps forward and throws her boomerang at the large log and slicing it down the middle, sending both pieces careening away to either side of our group. The very ground shakes beneath our feet, before a roar echoes around us above the tree tops. Looking up slowly I finally see exactly what we were up against.

'I think the villagers downplayed it's size just slightly. This thing isn't huge, it's gigantic!' I think as I stare at the bear in disbelief. The demon stood at least fifty to sixty feet tall, easily towering over the trees. It had a large mouth filled with razor sharp looking teeth, a blunt snout and large red eyes sitting just above it along with abnormally large ears for a bear. It's fur was dark and thick, what looked to be some sort of armor running up like stones along it's spine. This thing was terrifying to behold, and it was hard to believe that at one time the villagers had simply brushed it off as a mischievous cub. As the bear leans forward I can see the shard shining brightly against it's forehead.

"The Sacred Jewel shard is there in it's forehead!" I exclaim, Inuyasha making a confident noise in his throat behind me as he stares up at the bear with glee at the challenge.

"Huh, well, this thing is going to make one hell of a bear rug." He comments, before his face lowers and he grits his teeth with determination. "He might be huge, but he's still got the brain of a bush-pig!" He discredits the beast, before leaping in the air and drawing Tessaiga, bringing it down in a large arch to slice at the bear's chest. The bear lets out a large roar of pain as Inuyasha lands on the top of a tree nearby, turning to look back at his opponent.

'No, he's not looking at the bear.' I realize, his golden eyes narrowed in at something to the side in the distance.

Then I hear the buzzing.

Looking up frantically into the sky from the clearing I can finally see them; Naraku's poisonous insects flying over head in large numbers. I glance towards Miroku, seeing the large frown on his face as he releases his grip on the prayer beads wrapped around his Wind Tunnel, knowing it would do him no good to use it now.

Instead of swarming us, as I had expected they might do, the wasp-like insects begin to swarm the bear, tormenting it. One of the insects flies in close as the others distract it, reaching in and pulling the jewel shard from the bear's forehead.

"They're taking out the jewel shard!" Inuyasha shouts in disbelief as we all helplessly watch on. The bear disintegrates before us and collapses to the ground, just a pile of bones, before the swarm goes to take off. Quickly I grab my bow and arrow, aiming for the glow of the shard and the insect that carried it. I release my arrow, watching intently as it hit's it's target, but another insect takes the dead one's place, catching the shard before it could fall from the sky and continuing on.

"Do you think it's a trap?" Miroku asks, all of us thinking the same thing.

Definitely.

"Probably." Sango is the one to answer.

"Fine with me." Inuyasha replies cockily, glaring at the swarm as it flies away. I frown, looking from the swarm towards him. "And this time Naraku won't manage to escape!" He adds with determination, before looking towards me and kneeling slightly. "Get on, Yua." I hesitate as my stomach turns nervously. If we were walking into a trap, what would happen? Would Naraku be ready? Would we be ready? Would I be ready?

Or would I finally be taken by him?

It was one thing to fight Naraku in the moment, and to happen upon him by chance. But to actively seek him out?

Kirara had already transformed, carrying Sango, Miroku, and Shippo off after the swarm. Inuyasha frowns at me from over his shoulder.

"Get on, Yua. Let's go!" He states impatiently, oblivious to my fear. I swallow thickly, before shakily stepping forward and getting up onto his back.

I just hope that if we encounter Naraku I can be brave enough to face him.

Night had long since fallen by the time we reach Naraku's new stronghold. It was the same as it had been before he had disappeared the first time, complete with an overcast sky of purple and back clouds. I slide down off of Inuyasha's back, getting my physical bow and arrow at the ready as he punches through the wooden gate with little effort. It breaks away under his fist, and when the dust clears we're greeted with a horrific sight in the center of the courtyard.

Wolf demons, dozens of them, all slaughtered on the ground.

I freeze, hands trembling as I look for familiar raven hair and icy blues eyes that would be starring back at me unseeing. Relief floods me when my first search comes back negative for Koga. He wasn't here. We walk in, all of us bewildered by the sight in front of us.

"What were they doing here in this castle?" Miroku asks, confusion clear in his voice. I frown, looking at the wounds themselves. It was like they had all been sliced open by multiple blades all at once. The cuts were clean and deep, clearly whoever had done this hadn't meant to leave anyone alive.

'This doesn't feel like something Naraku would have done himself.' I think to myself, frowning. 'He must have someone else on his hook.'

Suddenly a wind blows through the courtyard, but it wasn't a normal wind by any means. My hair stood on end and goosebumps raised along my flesh as I could feel the strong signature that came with it.

We weren't alone here.

Swallowing thickly I look towards the torn doorway ahead of us, gazing intently inside. Someone was there, but I couldn't tell who. Shippo's frightened scream brings me back, and I can't help taking a step backwards as the bodies in front of us being to move. Groaning, all the wolf demons struggle to sit upright, slowly working their way back up onto their feet in front of us.

"That's impossible!" Shippo cries out in fear. "They shouldn't be alive!"

"I don't sense any life in these men. Their souls have left them!" Miroku states as the group slowly shuffle towards us. I'm reminded of zombies in that moment.

"That means they're un-dead!" Sango exclaims, had on her boomerang and at the ready. The first wave launches at us, and I step quickly in front of Shippo to shoot my first arrow. The blinding purple light from my aura cuts a path through the wolf demons, whilst Inuyasha, Sango, and Miroku take down more demons as they approach. The first wave is successfully pushed back, and so I take the time to grab Shippo and place him up safely on my shoulder, all of us forming a circle with our backs to one and other.

"You see?" Miroku observes after the few zombie wolf demons that still could stood once more. "Even if you put them down they revive again right away!"

"How can they keep coming back to life if they were dead in the first place?" Shippo asks, shaking from where he stood on my shoulder. I frown as I hook my bow back over my shoulder, knowing that it wouldn't be much use from here on in. Instead I open the palms of my hands, both gathering energy into small orbs there, ready to send them into the next wave.

Before a bunch of the wolf demons suddenly launched into the air, hovering above us.

"What?" Inuaysha gasps, clearing caught off guard as well. I change my tactic, forcing up a barrier instead to hold them off.

Before all the corpses spurted blood against the wall of my aura, and fall back to the ground, once again deathly still.

Lowering my barrier once the blood had slid down to pool on the ground, we all look to each other in confusion. "I don't understand." I murmur, looking around at the bodies surrounding us. What was Naraku's angle?

"Why are they all collapsing?" Shippo asks from my shoulder. "I don't get it?"

"Inuyasha!"

My eyes widen as I recognize the voice that screams out Inuyasha's name, and it's filled with grief and rage. I turn sharply, looking up to see Koga standing on the wall above us, staring down at the scene with wide blue eyes.

"That's Koga from the demon Wolf-Tribe." Miroku states with bewilderment. "What is he doing here?"

"Inuyasha, how dare you do this?" Koga asks, sounding broken as he looked down at the fallen wolf demons surrounding us. My mouth drops in realization, now understanding how this looked, and quickly connecting the dots in what was no doubt Naraku's plan all along. I quickly place Shippo down on Kirara's back, knowing the cat demon would keep him safe, before rushing forward and looking up at Koga.

"Koga, no! This isn't what it looks like!" I exclaim, watching as his blue eyes go from staring at Inuyasha with hatred, towards me and softening ever so slightly. "I promise! We'd never do something like this! All these men were dead when we got here!"

"How do I know you're telling the truth?!" Koga demands with narrowed eyes. "How do I know you aren't simply protecting him?"

"Look at him, Koga. If he really did do all this he'd be covered in their blood!" I argue, frowning up at the leader. Koga frowns, hesitating before jumping down from the wall to stand directly in front of me, staring me down with his ice blue eyes. "Koga…I would never lie to you." I assure him softly then, never breaking eye contact. "This is a trap, all set up by Naraku. The evil bastard killed your men, and lured you here, no doubt hoping that it would look like Inuyasha did this. He knew you would want to avenge your men, and that you two would probably kill each other in battle." I frown deeply. "Don't let him manipulate you." Koga frowns, a growl building low in his chest as he looks around at his comrades, before looking over my head and back towards Inuyasha with the same hate as before. He was shaking with anger, clearly fixated on his assumption still that Inuyasha did this.

"That seems like an elaborate lie to me, just so you can save a mutt that's blinded you." Koga argues lowly, his gaze clouded as he moves to step around me now.

"Yua! Koga won't be reasoned with. The sight of the slaughter has put him into a fixed rage of vengeance. He will fight Inuyasha to the death!" Miroku calls over to me, and I panic, stomach turning as I look over towards my silver-haired lover. He's glaring right back at Koga, looking reluctant to fight, but ready nonetheless.

'Touch him with your aura, Yua!' Mayumi exclaims urgently. 'Your aura may calm him down, bring him out of his rage.' Without questioning her, I do as she says, reaching out as my hand glows purple and gently resting my hand against the skin of his back just above his armour. The purple light shines bright around us both before I gently drop my hand, Koga turning slowly to look at me with wide eyes.

"Yua?" He questions softly, swallowing thickly as he finally gazes at me with clear eyes once more.

"I wouldn't lie to you, Koga." I repeat softly to him, looking up at him pleadingly. "You need to trust me." I beg him as he looks down at me with such tenderness that it causes my very soul to ache.

"Once again, Yua, you seem to be one step ahead of me." Naraku's voice echoes through the courtyard suddenly, a low chuckle following his statement. "Bravo." He adds dryly. "Now, however, I have you here, along with two more jewel shards." Koga snaps to action, quickly turning so I was behind him, his muscled arms reaching out behind him to either side of me protectively as he snarled lowly.

"Who the fuck are you?!" Koga shouts angrily towards the sky, Naraku's cold chuckle once again echoing over the clearing.

"Your new Master." Naraku replies easily, Koga gritting his teeth as he glares upwards.

"I have no Master!" He insists, his body tense. A bright light suddenly shines from his right arm, red and ominous. My eyes widen as I can feel the distinct energy of a jewel shard, but it's different somehow. Sick.

Poisonous.

Koga drops to his knees in response, groaning in pain as he grips onto his forearm.

"Koga!" I frown, dropping down next to him and placing my hand on his shoulder. "Koga? What's wrong?" He lets out another pained growl, his body tense and shaking under my hand.

"Get…away…quick." Koga bites out brokenly. I feel my heart racing, confused by his words.

"What's happening?" I ask sharply, unable to keep the worry from my voice.

"GO!" Koga shouts, his arm swinging around and throwing me away. I grunt as I land against the ground, my hands bracing me up as I stare at him in wide eyed disbelief. Slowly he stands, the shaking now gone, though his muscles were all tensed and ready for a fight. Slowly he turns his head to look at me from over his shoulder.

A cruel smirk I had never seen him wear before spreads across his lips, his lifeless eyes staring back into my own.

Koga turns away from me, and with one giant leap he launches himself across the courtyard directly towards Inuyasha. His right arm, glowing brightly with the poisoned jewel shard, arcs downwards as Inuyasha just barely manages to dodge him. His fist instead hits the ground, the power of the hit backed with the energy from the jewel shard causing the ground to split open beneath Koga, pieces of rock flying every which way. Slowly Koga stands upright from his kneeled position once more, turning back towards me. I feel my stomach drop with dread. I knew without a doubt that somehow Naraku had gotten the jewel shard to Koga, and blinded by his need for power no doubt the wolf demon had placed it in his body without thinking twice.

"Naraku's using the jewel shard to control him." I state to myself in realization, looking sharply at Inuyasha. "Inuyasha! Koga doesn't know what he's doing! He has Naraku's jewel shard in his arm!" Inuyasha frowns as he looks towards me then, nodding that he understood, before having to move once more as Koga charged.

"There might not be much that Inuyasha can do for Koga, not if he wants to live as well." Sango frowns as she comes to stand next to me, the wolf demon launching attack after attack on Inuyasha. Inuyasha wasn't fighting back, and later he'd deny it, but I knew it was because he wanted to win a fight fairly with the wolf demon.

That, and he no doubt felt that nobody deserved to be Naraku's puppet.

"The only way we might be able to help is if we find Naraku." I speak up then, mind racing as I try not to let my emotions get the best of me. Every time Koga attacked, it could mean Inuyasha being that much closer to being killed. 'Hold on a little longer, Inuyasha, please.'

"Charging into the enemy's trap is generally not a wise strategy." Miroku argues, frowning.

"Do you have a better plan?" Sango asks sharply in return, her hand still at the ready with her boomerang to step in if Inuyasha seemed to be losing, his pride be damned. Miroku hesitates, and Sango takes that as all she needs in an answer. Charging forward she whirls her boomerang towards the building, the large weapon whirling through the doorway and into the mansion. I move to follow Miroku and Sango into the holdfast, but Mayumi stops me.

'Wait, Yua! You can purify the shard!' She exclaimed hurriedly. 'You are powerful enough to take on Naraku's magic. You just need to be able to get close enough.'

'How?!' I exclaim in disbelief, turning to look towards Inuyasha and Koga, still locked in a one sided battle. 'If I try to get close, Koga is going to kill me, and then what good will it do?!'

'Inuyasha is getting tired! He's going to slip up soon. We need to act now, Yua.' Mayumi presses on. 'You can do this.' I swallow thickly, hands shaking before I ball them into fists as I watch Inuyasha and Koga intently.

The next time the two break away from one and other, I send a blast of energy directly into Koga's back.

"Yua?! What the hell are you doing?!" Inuyasha shouts in disbelief as Koga skids across the ground for a few feet before coming to a stop. Slowly he sits up, his head turning towards me and his gaze narrowed.

"Do you really think you're more powerful than me, little girl?" Koga's mouth moves, but it's not his voice that spills out. Naraku's tone is easy to recognize, his host's body slowly rising back up to his feet. "Maybe the time has come to put you to the test." He snarls, before launching across the courtyard towards me.

"RUN!" Inuyasha shouts, but I shakily hold my ground. He wouldn't be fast enough to get between Koga and I, not with Koga's jewel shards. I raise my hands up, creating a barrier and our energies clash when his right fist hits it. The shock-wave from the collision of the hit is strong enough to send clay shingles tearing from the rooftops around us, a dust cloud pushing outwards in a forceful gust. I can barely hold on to the stalemate Koga and I were currently in, but a moment was all I needed. With my right hand still up to hold the shield, my left comes up, fingers weaving my energy into thick bands that fly out and encircle his wrists, ankles, and his neck. A look of shock crosses Koga's face as he's propelled backwards into the ground by the bands, locked into place as they acted like cuffs. Breathing heavily, I allow my barrier to weaken and disappear, not able to keep both it up and keep Koga pinned. As it was my energy was quickly draining, but I knew I had to get to that shard. Stumbling over I kneel by his right arm, hovering my hand over top of it and concentrating on drawing the shard from his body as if I was drawing poison from a wound. He screams and thrashes, obviously in pain, and I feel tears burning in my eyes as guilt claws away in my chest, knowing I was the reason he was hurting.

'Please pass out, please pass out.' I inwardly beg. "Just a little longer, Koga. It's going to be okay!" I choke out, before finally the shard rips out from his arm, his eyes closing as his entire body relaxes. There it was, angry red in color, hovering just in front of me as my hand guides it up. I flex my fingers, pushing the last bit of what I could of my aura outwards, the shard slowly turning from it's toxic color to the pure purple it was supposed to be.

I gasp in shock as it suddenly shatters.

'It was a fake shard, made from Naraku's poisonous miasma. If it had stayed in Koga's body any longer, he'd have died as it spread through his blood.' Mayumi explains grimly.

"You did it." Inuyasha murmurs from behind me, and I turn to look up at him wearily.

"You're always so surprise." I joke, feeling myself swaying slightly. He quickly kneels down, bracing my shoulders with his hands as he looks intently down at the wolf demon slowly regaining consciousness. His ice blue eyes blink blearily, before finally things come into focus and he sits up straight, a worried look on his face.

"What the hell were you thinking?!" He shouts at me angrily, his large hands coming out to cup either side of my face. "I could have killed you!" His thumbs rub soothingly against each cheek, and distantly I'm aware that Inuyasha is gently squeezing my shoulders from behind me.

Were these two actually getting along right now?

"I'm fine." I murmur sluggishly, sighing heavily as I close my eyes for a moment. "Just tired." Koga grunts in irritation, gently rubbing his thumbs along my skin one last time before letting my face go, causing my eyes to snap back open. I lean back then into Inuyasha, his arms wrapping around me protectively, before frowning as I look towards the mansion where Miroku and Sango had disappeared.

"They went inside to find Naraku. We need to go and help them."

"You're not going in there, not in this state." Inuyasha argues, frowning. "You'd be too vulnerable."

"I can't believe it, but I'm going to agree with mutt-face here." Koga frowns as he stands now, his hands shaking with rage as he looks towards the entrance of the mansion.

Rage now directed to the person actually responsible for the deaths of his people.

"I'll go in and help. Inuyasha can stay here and protect you." I blink in surprise hearing Koga, looking between him and Inuyasha once again in wonder.

Well, holy shit on a graham cracker. They're cooperating.

"Does…does this mean you two are friends now?" I ask before I can stop and think about it, mentally slapping myself as they both glare at each other in annoyance then. 'Dammit, I shouldn't have brought it to their attention!'

"Hardly!" Koga scoffs. "Just as soon as I'm done with that bastard you called Naraku, I'll deal with Inutrasha."

"In your dreams, fleabag!"

"So, which one is going to whip it out first and piss on his territory?" A new, female, voice speaks up suddenly, causing all three of us to look towards the owner.

A beautiful woman, dressed in an expensive looking kimono with dark hair, and bright red eyes is standing across the courtyard from us. She has a large fan in front of her face, obscuring the rest of it from view.

Great, now what?

Well there ya have it :). Hope you enjoyed this chapter-even with the evil cliffhanger! HAHAHAHA. I need some enjoyment I suppose. Work has been stressful recently with having to write reports lol. Please go ahead and leave a review with your thoughts, or even just to say hello! It really does make my day :)

Until Next Time
