On Monday Linor wanted to talk to you and during lunch time the group except for Luka waited at the club room for you to come and tell us what she told you soon you walked in with Luka.
"Linor suggested that we share Mrs. Bustier as an adviser and I went to the student council to ask them if it's possible but they said it isn't a club can't have any sort of activities without an adviser so we would have to alternate days and times since Mrs. Bustier is busy with the choir club." You said sadly.
"Did you tell them that we were okay with that?" I asked.
"She did and I tried to support her but I'm only the vise president. There's no president and only the president can make that decision." Luka stated.
"The thing is I have to go to China for a few days because of family business." You said looking down.
"Don't worry we'll be here figuring something out." I replied though I have to be honest I was sad that you were leaving.
"Well even if we find a way to get an adviser without the president, who is Marinette, we can't do anything." Juleka stated. "Especially since she's the only one that actually knows how to design."
"I know a little bit from dad but I wasn't interested in learning so I don't know that much." I replied.
You left later that day and on Tuesday I could already feel your absence especially since you weren't waiting for me like you always would do. During lunch the group had lunch outside in a picnic. I had more free time since dad didn't force me to do other things as much as before. It was weird ever since I told him I was part of a fashion designer club dad let me miss some lessons...not photoshoots obviously. I guess he was happy that I was involved in something that had to do with his profession.
"Since you guys are all seniors what do you guys plan to do after graduation?" Manon asked.
"Go to college and study art." Nathaniel replied.
"Hopefully I go to the same college as Nathaniel and study fashion." Chloe replied.
"I want to be a model so I want to study modeling I just don't know where." Juleka mumbled.
"I want to study music." Luka replied.
"I want to be a detective I just don't know what kind. I'm going to the United States for college." Alya replied.
"I'm going with Alya and study music." Nino added.
"I was thinking about studying psychology after high school." I replied.
After school I was waiting to be picked up while I was talking to Nino. "So tell me the truth are you and Marinette dating?"
"No I already told you I'm not looking for a girlfriend." I lied since I was more specifically you.
"Oh why aren't you looking for a girlfriend?" Kagami asked walking up to us hearing our conversation.
"I'm not fit to have a girlfriend I'm a good for nothing." I replied before my ride came to pick me up. It was true except for my looks I had no good quality to deserve a girlfriend...especially a beautiful humble girl like you.
The group had lunch outside for the rest of the week the club room wasn't fun without you and at the moment there was no reason to be there either. For some reason though I went to the club room after school on Friday and all I could think of was all the moments I had with you. As I was leaving the school I saw Kagami's campaign for student council president and I realized that if she was president our problems for the fashion designer club would be solved.
Funny enough I bumped into Kagami as I walked out from the school. "Oh Kagami I was just thinking about you. If you get elected for student council president I wanted to ask you for a favor...huh." The boys from the other high school that did the riot on the first day of school were suddenly there ready to fight her and Kagami was going to defend herself. "Kagami don't if you start a fight in front of the school you'll blow your chances for the election."
Suddenly the principle and some teachers walked over to us. "What's going on here?" The boys from the other school quickly ran off.
Kagami was about to speak up but I stood in front of her. "It was me I started the fight."
"I can't believe this coming from you Adrien but something like this means you'll be suspended from school for two days." The principal stated.
My dad wasn't to happy when hearing the news actually he was furious. I didn't just get suspended I also got grounded. I was only allowed to do lessons like piano fencing or Chinese and photoshoots. Since it was Friday I was suspended for Monday and Tuesday. The worst part was that my birthday was on Tuesday. Some people would love to have no school on their birthday but I loved school and since no one was allowed to see me at home I wouldn't be able to see my friends. It was all worth it though with me being suspended instead of Kagami she still had the chance of becoming student council president and you would have a chance to officially form the fashion designer club.
On Monday I called Nino to tell him what happened. "Don't worry I will tell the group." He replied
Nino's POV
During lunch time I told the whole group about Adrien being suspended and the reason why. "So he took the blame for Kagami and was suspended." Alya stated for confirmation and I nodded. "Well he be able to graduate after this?"
"Yes but it will stay in his permanent record." Juleka mumbled.
"With Marinette the president of the club not here and Adrien the vice president of the club suspended the fashion designer club won't be able to be created especially before winter break." Luka stated with a sigh.
I just spent the rest of the day laying on my bed doing nothing except thinking about you. It has been a week and I was missing you badly.
I was expecting Tuesday to be as boring as Monday but I found a pleasant surprise. Natalie told me to go outside for something and when I did I saw all of our friends including Kagami and a party all set up.
"What's all of this?" I asked confused.
"My mom is as strick as your dad but I somehow convinced her to convince your dad to let us do this party for you especially since it's your 18th birthday and you shouldn't spend it alone." Kagami stated.
"We all contributed on this celebration so let's party!" Nino exclaimed with a smile.
Alya walked over to me handing me a present. "Mari told me to give you this on your birthday. She said that it was her lucky charm but she wants you to have it so you can have luck too."
I smiled opening the present and I promised to myself that I would always carry it with me and that I would never lose it. The whole party was great and I had so much fun but I wished that you could be there too.
I went back to school the next day and I found out that Kagami's reputation from her old school in Japan caught up to her so I was determined to help her so she wouldn't lose her chance of becoming the student council president.
"You want to have a match?" The captain of the baseball team asked me confused. Since challenging the basketball team worked I thought why not show that Kagami isn't the same person like she used to be.
"Yes and if we lose than we'll...well you decide." I replied.
"Deal and If you lose the game Kagami needs to join the girls baseball team." He stated and Kagami nodded.
We played the game and to our big surprise Kagami was great at it so we won. After that we challenged other sport teams or showed Kagami's other skills. Soon Kagami's old reputation was being forgotten by her new reputation of a talented athletic.
"Thanks to you all the nasty rumors were cleared up." Kagami told me on Thursday.
"It was my pleasure and I'm also doing it for the fashion designer club." I replied.
"I'm still grateful now I can still achieve my dream." She stated with a smile.
"What dream?" I asked confused.
"Oh right I never told you. My dream is to earn respect...especially from my mother." Kagami replied.
Kagami's POV
Since I can remember my mom has always had the best reputation especially in fencing and reason to be respected...I always felt as her shadow. What I am now with all my skills Is thanks to her. Though in middle school I was sick of being her shadow and only doing what she wanted me to do so I started to start fights in school always causing trouble. I guess that I felt like if I couldn't get her respect and attention by doing what she wanted I would get it by being a rebellious teen.
That obviously didn't work actually I was just getting her in danger since with every person I started a fight with they would get their revenge by going after her. One day I got a phone call and I found out mom was in the hospital because of some people I was once in a fight with. I felt so guilty that I promise to her while she was on the hospital bed that I would stop being a rebel and use my skills for only good. She's obviously better now...When we moved here I hoped to get a new start in this school and by being student council president I could achieve that. Getting the role would mean for me that I was closer from achieving my dream...
You were back on Friday and the whole group...especially me were happy to see you again. You walked over to me. "I'm sorry about what happened. I heard about the fight and that you let yourself be suspended so Kagami can still be student council president. I don't know how to make it up to you."
I tried to hide a blush. "It's fine I didn't just do it for you I did it for everyone involved."
Kagami had a tennis match that day so we all went to see her. During a break you walked over to her. "Do you want water Kagami?"
"No thanks...wait I know you." Kagami said looking at you.
"I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng the one trying to create the fashion designer club." You replied.
"The fashion designer club?...oh so that's it." I heard her mumbled before going back to the game.
Almost to the end of the game a ball suddenly flew to you and hitted your leg making you fall to the ground. I quickly went to you and helped you to the nurse. It was later discovered that Kagami won student council president.
