One day I was sweeping the front of the bakery when Plagg the stray cat walked up to me. "Hay there little buddy." I bent down and petted his head as he just meows. "Are you hungry?" He meows again. "Okay I'll take that as a yes I'll see if I can get something for you." I stood up and walked in the bakery. "May I get some bread for a stray cat Mr. Tom?" I asked your dad.

"You mean that cat behind you?" He asked looking behind me.

I turned around to see Plagg sitting behind me. "Oh I'm sorry I guess he entered when I opened the door I'll take him out."

"No it's fine you can take him upstairs and feed him." Tom replied. "And since it seems like he likes you, you can keep him."

"Oh no that would be asking too much from you and I'm already intruding by staying at your place." I stated with sincerely.

"You're not intruding Adrien you're welcome here as family ever since we met you. Plus Marinette always wanted a pet but we never got the chance to get her one. That little cat needs a family and what better place than here. I have seen that cat around the neighborhood for a long time and I think it's about time that he has a family. You can keep him as long as you promise to take good care of him and be responsible of him." Tom replied.

"Of course I promise thank you very much." I pick up Plagg. "I'll take him upstairs to feed him." I walk upstairs to the living room and kitchen to see your mom preparing dinner and you designing on your notebook.

You looked up at me and noticed me holding Plagg. "Hay Adrien isn't that the stray cat of the neighborhood?"

"Yea I was just going to feed him when your dad told me that I could keep him." I looked at your mom. "Of course if it's okay for you too."

"Of course it is." Your mom replied with a smile.

You walked over to me and petted Plagg. "He's cute what are you going to name him?"

"Well actually I already named him when I first saw him roaming around the neighborhood. His name is Plagg." I replied.

"Hm Plagg I like it." You said with a smile.

We soon had dinner and since I didn't have any cat food I just gave him a little bit of what we were having. Later I took him to my room and got ready for bed before setting a space for Plagg in the ground before laying down. "I promise I'll buy everything you need tomorrow Plagg." I told him as I started to close my eyes.

The whole time I was looking at Plagg and he was looking straight at me too when I started hearing a voice in my head that I didn't regonize. "Listen carefully okay? You have to remember this. There's a charm and Inside there's a shining light that will grant a single wish. You have to give that light to her and grant her wish for her. Good luck..."

Plagg's POV (18 years ago)

it was a bright and sunny day when I walked over to the high school that was in front of me. It was late afternoon so all the students were leaving the school and in the bottom of the stairs was a red head teenage girl with blue eyes waiting for someone who was a boy since she started talking to one that walked over to her.

Once I was behind her the boy looked at me. "Hay who's that your boyfriend?" He asked as the girl turned to face me with confusion. "Well I don't want to bother you two I'll see you tomorrow." With that he walked away.

"Wait-" The girl started before sighing.

"You're Tikki Charm right?" I asked her.

She looked at me and nodded. "Yes and who are you?"

"I'm Plagg Cataclysm I guess you don't remember me." I replied with a sad smile. "You might have forgotten me but I didn't forget you we met as kids. Please tell me your wish."

"Wish what do you mean?" Tikki asked confused.

"I came here to grant you a wish any wish you can think off." I replied. "I can't leave until you tell me. It's the least I can do for everything you did for me. We met at the hospital years ago your mom was there and I was there too. One day you went to visit her and I was at the courtyard so we started to talk and you really cheered me up. I was in a wheelchair and I had a cat with me."

"I remember but I didn't do anything special I just sat and started talking to you." She stated.

"But it meant a lot for me. You might not think that you said anything special but it really meant a lot to me." I replied. "That's why I need to pay you back no matter what."

"Than just buy me a soda okay. I didn't do anything special so you don't have to do anything special either." She stated with a smile.

"I don't think you understand me. I can grant any wish you have in your heart any wish at all." I said with a smile. "I have the power to do that well that's what he said anyway."

"Who said that?" She asked confused.

"A man named Fu he gave me a charm that can grant any wish at all." I replied.

"I appreciate the effort and I'm glad that you're better but I don't have any wish right now. Take care." With that she walked away.

I wasn't going to give up. I would go to the school for days to talk to her and try to convince her about telling me her wish but she would always reject me politely. One day I went back to the high school to wait for her when it suddenly started to rain. I was out there for a while when an umbrella suddenly appeared on top of me. "Are you trying to get a cold?" Tikki asked me before dragging me inside the school to an empty classroom and started drying my hair with a towel. "It's raining cats and dogs and you left your umbrella at home?"

"I didn't know that it was going to rain it was sunny this morning." I replied.

She handed me a pair of clothes. "Here I borrowed these from the gym just bring them back tomorrow. If you have the power to grant a wish why didn't you wish for the rain to stop?"

"I couldn't do that I only have one wish to grant and I couldn't waste it on the rain." I replied. "You made me believe that I could do anything if I tried hard enough and I need to return the favor no matter what."

At that moment the bell rang. "I have to go to class try to sneak out quietly." Tikki said before walking away.

Later that day I waited for Tikki outside from the school as the students were walking outside. "Hay you're Tikki's boyfriend right?"

I looked up to see the boy that Tikki liked. "Oh no you're got it wrong I'm not her boyfriend."

"I see." The boy makes a thinking face before looking back at me. "Can you do me a favor than?"

...

I soon found myself hugging the bag of wet clothes as I walked with Tikki to her house. "Why do you look so sad? You can tell me...did you fall in love with someone?"

"Maybe." I mumbled.

"Wait really? I was just joking but why are you sad about it?" Tikki asked.

"Because I have to tell that girl I might be in love with some bad news." I replied. "That girl is in love with another boy but that boy already has a girlfriend."

"I see." She suddenly stopped in her tracks and stood frozen in place as she looked straight in front of her. I looked up to see the boy I was talking about kissing a girl. "Is that girl you were talking about me?" She mumbled.

I nodded looking down and I could only see her shoes that suddenly started running away and I could hear her crying.

I ran to her the bag of my clothes left on the sidewalk and I found her sitting on a bench at the park looking down. I walked over to her slowly. "I'm sorry it's my fault that you're sad."

Tikki looked up at me. "What's makes you think that you did something wrong? This has nothing to do with you...though what do you like about me?"

"You're kind to everyone no matter who they are and you have the patience of an angel especially with me around since I must be bothering you with this whole wish thing." I replied sitting next to her. We talked for a while about random stuff until she mentioned something that got my attention. "Student council president?"

"I know that it doesn't look like it but that's me and I'm the first female president too." Tikki replied. "The school festival is coming up so I won't be able to hang out with you as much."

"That's fine." I replied.

The next day I didn't go to the school like usual since Tikki would be busy with the school festival preparations. I started to walk around randomly but for some reason the streets looked familiar to me but I didn't know how. Soon flashbacks came to mind and I stopped in my tracks in shock...I remembered why all those streets were familar to me...because I would roam though them as a cat.

I wasn't the boy that Tikki talked to in the hospital...I was his cat...Fu or master Fu like many called him saw the good action that she did and when my owner died Fu asked me to grant the girl a wish for her good deed so I was turned into a boy with my owners memories...and once I grant her wish I'll be turned back into a cat.

Soon the day of the festival came and Tikki and I had so much fun. Towards the end of the festival I reminded her about the wish. "A wish?"

"I can't forget that's the reason why I came here." I replied.

"I see well...I wish for you to stay by my side and love me forever." She said before leaning in and kissing me.

That's how my life started with Tikki Charm. Ever since that day I stayed with her and loved her just like she wished for. I would always call her my ladybug since she always gave me luck. Sadly she died 10 years ago at age 26 from a car accident and when she did I was turned back to a cat to live the rest of my 9 lives. Though sometimes I see a ladybug flying around town and I know that she's still present as long as I have her in my heart.

I woke up in the morning and looked over at Plagg who was staring at me. "Did you give me that dream?" He nodded. "So your name really is Plagg? Hm I just made it up when I first saw you but I guess that it fits you." I picked Plagg up and saw a ladybug landing on the window of my room. "Is that...is your love story supposed to be a warning or lesson for me?" Plagg just looked at me blankly.

Now I understand his story. No matter what Marinette you'll always be in my heart because I love you and I'll still have hope as long as you keep trying to stay with me...so please come back to me.
