The sun began to set upon the horizon of the sea. A large ship with colorful lights and a large tent was sailing throughout the slightly rocky waters. Even one of the poor crewmates had caught seasickness. It quickly wore off of him though as he raced off as he had something better to do, better than dealing with being seasick.

He was racing off to the tent to catch up with his crew. He smiled up at the red and white tent and looked at the sign that said

Le cirque magnifique de Paulo

Then he glanced at another sign with a young girl, posing flamboyantly.

Featuring La Agnessa the Wondrous dancer

"Oh ho ho I can't wait to see this…" The sailor eagerly whispered

"Come on mate...We don't want to miss the show…" his fellow crewmate called, they ran to take their seats in the bright tent inside. The house was full and the popcorn and cotton candy were sold to the people by the ushers.

Then the lights went out signifying that the show was about to start. Then a tall and stout ringmaster, coated in a rich red jacket on top of a black and white suit came out, laughing boastfully, watching the crowd cheer him on.

"Has everybody come to see a beautiful show tonight?" The crowd cheered with his question.

"Now feast your eyes on the festivities you are about to see tonight...Magic, dance, and all the wonders of the blissful acts before you...Now, are you ready for a lovely show tonight,

Roars and roars of cheer rang the tent as a drummer had his drumsticks ready to do a drumroll to get the show started.

"Now to introduce our opening act, our young dancer Agnessa Russo, Dance La Agnessa DANCE"

The red curtains then went in opposite directions to reveal a young girl dressed in pink and her round head filled with ebony waves crowned in pink flowers taking the stage.

Everyone applauded and the girl held her hands out for everyone to stop. Then she began to gently dance to the music put on for her. Her pale bare feet moved gracefully with every step. Her tiered pink dress twirled with her in her every move. Everyone in the audience was swayed by her poise and movement and the gentle music that went along with it. A few closed their eyes, pretending that they were in another world or pretending to be dancing with her.

However, once the music reached its climax, her dance began to match with it. Her arms moved at such alarming speed, waving them behind her. Her spins were much more aggressive than at the beginning of the dance. Her facial expressions say fear and aggression.

Once the music slowly faded out, She ended out with her curtsying and reaching an arm out. The crowd went bonkers with the end of the dance.

Agnes stood from her pose and bowed. Then the ringmaster went in front of her and grabbed her arm and held it up

"How about that eh...La Agnessa and her beautiful talents...You shall see her in another act soon, now to introduce our next act." The ringmaster ushered Agnes out of the stage.

Among the crowd, there was a man and a woman in black and white suits with black sunglasses covering their eyes. They followed their gaze to Agnes as she exited the stage. Something about her caught their eyes and they wanted to know what it was.

When Agnes' next act came in she was in a cage, she was in a plain blue bikini top and a long grass skirt. The expression of sadness on her face showed that she didn't enjoy this act and she didn't like the claustrophobic cage. The magician came to the cage with a large bucket filled with water

"Now feast your eyes, this young girl may not be what you seem her to be...Watch as I pour water on this child, she becomes one of the sea creatures…" then the magician poured the bucket of water on the child and the child turned into a sea monster.

Everyone gasped in horror and shock. Agnes looked around at the crowd's reaction to her

"So scary…" She heard someone murmur.

"What a monster…" another murmur went out. Then the two people in the suits began to whisper to each other. Then one of them grabbed a walkie-talkie.

"But behold, once she turns dry, she will resume back to her beautiful form, BEGONE, HORRID BEAST…" He opened the cage and pulled her out. He took out a green towel from his sleeve and began to wipe her down, reverting her to her human form.

"VOILA…" the magician presented a now dry but humiliated Agnes. Everyone applauded for them but as soon as they got off of the stage, Agnes raced away from the magician, gently sobbing. She ran until she slammed the door to her dressing room. The magician turned to the ringmaster, who was bewildered at what had just happened. The man just glared at the ringmaster

"I told you we should've done the saw in half act…" then the ringmaster knocked on the door.

"Agnessa...Please…" the ringmaster begged.

"Monsieur...It's Agnes, you never get my name right…" the girl yelled through the door

"What happened out there…"

"You know what happened...I hate that cage act...People out there call me names…" She sobbed.

"Can you at least come out for curtain call...You will, won't you…" the sound of his voice now had a bit of force into it.

"Yes...Let me get dressed…" the girl solemnly said.

"That's my starlet…"

In the dressing room, Agnes furiously raked her hair out of the side braid and parted her hair in the middle. She nabbed her dress and placed it on her.

"Ugh so tight...I think...tonight is the night that I tell the ringmaster I want to quit…" Agnes said to herself. Then a knock on the door is heard

"Curtain call…" Agnes rolled her eyes and ran out of the dressing room.

Once the show was over, an afterparty took place. The ship then rocked roughly back and forth. Agnes, now changed into looser clothing, spotted that a storm was about to hit the ship. As Agnes walked away, the wind hit her beige skirt, making it flow in the wind. Annoyed, she pulled it down and took steadier steps. She approached one of the sailors that glanced at her happily.

"Please sir, can you warn everyone that a storm might come and get them inside…" She asked politely

"Why certainly, milady…" he kissed her hand and left. The young teen rubbed it off of her and departed to her room, not without taking an inflatable raft with her.

Just then a helicopter flew into the cloudy night sky. It was flown by the same people wearing suits and ties. One of the men pointed at the rocking ship and the person behind the wheel smirked.

In the window of her room, Agnes played with her shirt, tugging at the ends of it. She wasn't too much of a party person to join the afterparty and she was still mad at the ringmaster for arranging her to be in the cage act. Then a knock on the door was heard and the ringmaster let himself in.

"Hello, Agnessa…" Agnes just looked at him and turned away. "I know you are angry with me but the crowd...they think that it is an act…"

"Well my sea monster form isn't an act...the sooner people see that the more they'll be afraid of me...I told you numerous times I wasn't comfortable with the act...Why do you push it…"

"They think that the sea monster form is a HOAX…" the ringmaster slammed his hand on the dresser, making Agnes jump. "The only real thing they see is your human self" He was about to cup her cheek until She shoved him away from her

"I'll tell you what la ringmaster...I am not a HOAX, I am REAL, and don't you forget it-" then the sound of the helicopter interrupted her. Then a loud rumble of thunder came after, making her gasp.

Outside, it began to rain really hard. The storm was about to begin. The helicopter had a tough time trying to land. Then numbers and numbers of suited people with guns in their hands began to ransack the ship, shocking the people on it. The suited people made them put their hands up.

Then one of the people spotted the circus and ran towards it. Some of the ushers had weapons of their own and they began to fight back. A battle ensued. The ringmaster then saw his chance to escape with Agnes. She took the raft with her and He forcefully grabbed her hand.

"We need to get to the front of the ship…" the ringmaster dragged her by the hand. Then a few of the suited people spotted them.

"FIRE…" then a few bullets flew but none of them hit the two approaching the front of the ship. They got to the deck and a few sailors and the captain turned to them.

"Call out an SOS…" the ringmaster pointed at a sailor who reached out to a radio

"Mayday mayday this is an emergency, we're being under attack-" then gunshots were heard, making Agnes scream and duck down. The ringmaster found a rifle gun and began to shoot.

"Hold them off for as long as you can…" He yelled at the sailors who took harpoons with them and ran out. He turned to the young girl. "Agnessa...stay out of the way and you won't get hurt…" then he turned to the radio and tried to send out an SOS signal to any help he could find.

Agnes spotted a bat not too far away from her and she sneakily grabbed it, slowly walked towards the ringmaster and with one swing, she knocked him out.

The gunshots continued as well as the fight. Agnes snuck out with her inflatable raft but with the rocking boat, it was nearly impossible for her to keep a steady movement. Then she collided with the rain, turning her into her true form then a few suited people saw her

"No…" Agnes yelled.

There she is...she's out here-" then the boat rocked, knocking a few of them overboard into the water. Agnes stumbled backward and fell but she held onto the railing to try and pull herself up. She tried to inflate the raft but when she did the ship rocked once more, knocking it out of her hands and into the water. She reached for it, whimpering.

"There she is...She turned into a sea monster, now get her…" a lady shouted.

"Right…" a few of the remaining men race over.

"I want that sea monster…" the lady shouted again.

Agnes tried her hardest to pull herself up but the slippery bars prevented her. One of the men tried to grab her, she tried to swing onto another bar, causing her to almost fall.

"I got ya...EVERYONE GET HER…" the lady yelled. Then Agnes attempted to pull herself up but once she saw everyone coming at her at once, She gasped, horrified. The ship rocked roughly again and at last, She finally lost her grip on the bar and fell off of the ship screaming.

"Oh no, there goes my sea monster...OH NO…" the lady cried, not seeing any trace of Agnes...disappeared into the ocean never to be seen again.
