After Tony and the others checked in and settled in their rooms, they went downstairs and went into Diagon Alley to explore and do a little shopping. Tony wanted to show his friends the difference between Sunset Alley and Diagon Alley. The difference was apparent almost immediately. The witches and wizards in Britain seemed to be trapped in the Victorian era, and everything was older and darker than in Sunset Alley. Nevertheless, it was still a wondrous place, and the group enjoyed their time there.
After exploring the Alley, Tony and the others headed back to the Leaky Cauldron and had an early dinner, then headed off to bed. Tony had a hard time sleeping; he was nervous about the next day's wedding. Tony wondered if he could make this marriage work if he and Jasmine would get along and if he would ever come to love his wife. Tony hoped with all his heart that eventually, he would fall in love with Jasmine. The last thing he wanted was a loveless marriage.
Suddenly, Tony heard a voice, "What is troubling you, Grandson?" Tony's grandfather asked from his painting.
"Nothing, Grandad," Tony answered with a sigh.
Anthony leaned forward in his portrait, "Oh, come now, Tony, I can tell you are worried about something," Anthony placed his fingers under his chin and studied his grandson, "You are worried that this marriage will not work out and that you will be stuck in a loveless marriage. You think you will not be able to be faithful to your wife because you won't love her."
Tony sat up and stared at the portrait, "How did you?"
Anthony smiled, "Ravenclaw, Tony, I'm smart. Also, I felt the same when I married your grandmother. But I can assure you that as long as you try to become friends first and get to know each other, love will follow. I would not have made this arrangement if I thought that my descendent would be unhappy."
"Are you sure we're going to be happy, Granddad?"
"As long as you make an effort, yes, I believe you will be happy, and I know that you will come to love each other," Anthony said.
Tony nodded and then settled down to go to sleep.
The following day, Tony got up early, took a shower, and got ready for his wedding day. He was going to wear his suit, but his grandfather told Tony that he would have plenty of time to change before the ceremony, "We need to head to the Weasley house for breakfast, Tony. While you are there, you and the others will change."
Tony nodded then placed the picture in the bag once his grandfather stepped out of the painting. After that, Tony called Pepper, Rhodey, and Happy and told them to wear their regular clothes. Since finding out about magic and technology, Tony started working on a Stark phone that could be powered by magic and wouldn't short out. With the help of his grandfather, it didn't take Tony very long to figure it out.
Now that Tony, Pepper, Rhodey, and Happy were ready, they walked downstairs with Anthony. They made their way to Gringotts, where the Goblins had a portkey prepared to take the group to the Burrow. Once they were in Bank Manager Ragnok's office, Anthony activated the portkey, and they were off. The group landed outside the wards of the Burrow and began walking towards the house.
Tony and the others gawked at the spindly-looking house in the distance, "How on earth is that house being held up? It looks like it will topple over at any minute!" Tony exclaimed.
Anthony smirked, "Magic, my dear boy."
Tony rolled his eyes, "Right, magic."
As the quartet made their way towards the front door of the oddly shaped house, the door was suddenly thrown open, and a plump red-haired woman came rushing out to greet them, with another red-haired man following behind.
The woman rushed forward and hugged Tony, "You must be Tony Stark; my Jasmine's description didn't do you justice, Mr. Stark. I'm Molly Weasley, and this is my husband, Arthur. Welcome to our home."
Tony gave Molly a charming smiled and kissed her hand, causing Molly to flush, "It's nice to meet you, Mrs. Weasley," Then he shook Arthur's hand, "Allow me to introduce my good friends, this is Pepper Potts, she's my right hand at my company. My friend and bodyguard, Happy Hogan, and my best friend James Rhodes call him Rhodey." Each person said hello as they were being introduced, then Tony finally got to his grandfather, "And this is my many times' removed grandfather, Anthony Carbonelle."
"It's a pleasure to meet you all, especially you, Lord Carbonelle. Jasmine told us of the spell you created so that you could leave your painting; that is amazing spellwork, sir," Arthur told him.
"Thank you, Mr. Weasley, and I am delighted to meet you all; I remember your ancestor; I must say that you look just like him, sir."
Arthur smiled and thanked Lord Carbonelle. He then turned to Tony and eagerly shook his hand.
"Welcome, Mr. Stark. Jasmine has told us quite a bit about you. She said that you're a half-blood that grew up a Muggle, that's fascinating! Tell me what exactly his a television?"
Tony was taken aback by Mr. Weasley's question and was about to launch into a complex description of television and how it works. Still, his grandfather beat him to it and explained it to Arthur in more straightforward terms so that the wizard would understand. Arthur was about to bombard Tony and the others with more questions until Molly interrupted him.
"For Godric's sake, Arthur, it's his wedding day, don't pester Mr. Stark with all your questions, and I'm sure you all haven't had any breakfast yet."
Pepper smiled at the older woman, "No, we haven't, Mrs. Weasley."
"Oh, you poor dears, let's go inside and have a spot of breakfast," Molly told the group.
Tony, Pepper, Rhodey, and Happy smiled at Molly's hospitality, while Lord Carbonelle bowed and offered his arm to Molly; she blushed and took it. The others followed everyone else inside the house. When the group entered the house, they were surprised to find it bigger than it looked outside. Arthur noticed the Muggles' disbelief and smiled, "It's an expansion charm," He informed them.
Tony and the others nodded, though Tony still found it hard to believe as it defied all scientific logic.
Once everyone was seated at the kitchen table, Molly used her wand to place the platters of food on the table. The others looked on in fascination as the plates zoomed across the room and the table set itself. When everything was ready, Molly encouraged Tony and his friend to serve themselves and to eat as much as they wanted.
While the others ate heartily of Molly's delicious breakfast, Tony hardly ate a thing. He was too nervous about the wedding. Molly looked at him and gave Tony an encouraging smile, "There's no need to be nervous, Dear. This day will be perfect, and you and Jasmine will have a successful marriage."
"I hope so, Mrs. Weasley."
"I know you will, Tony, and please call me Molly. You're going to be part of the family soon."
Tony smiled, "Thank you, Molly."
After breakfast, Molly showed Tony, Lord Carbonelle, and the other men to a room where they could change while she took Pepper to Ginny's old room to get ready. Once Tony and the others were ready, Tony went downstairs, where he was ambushed by Bill, Charlie, Fred, George, and Ron. They took him into the living room to interrogate him.
Tony looked at the Weasley men suspiciously, "Can I help you, gentlemen?"
"We only wanted to meet the man who will marry our sister and make sure you're good enough for her. Do you love her?"
"No, I don't know her well enough to say that. But I hope in time that Jasmine and I will learn to love each other."
"Are you after her money?"
Tony rolled his eyes, "Guys, you obviously don't know who I am. I'm one of the richest men in the No Maj world. I don't need Jasmine's money, and I have no intention of touching her money."
The Weasley men asked Tony a few more questions, and once they were satisfied with his answers, they welcomed him to their family.
Meanwhile, at Grimmauld Place, Hermione, Ginny, and Luna were helping Jasmine get ready. The girls had an excellent English breakfast; then Jasmine went upstairs to bathe and change into her wedding dress. It was a simple white dress that was laced in the front. It was the same dress her mother had worn. Jasmine stared at her reflection and wondered if this was the way her mother looked. She knew that people often compared her to her mother with her flaming red hair and emerald green eyes, and Jasmine hoped she did her mother justice. Once she had her dress on, her friends descended on her and began working on her hair and makeup.
Once Jasmine and the girls were ready, they headed to the Burrow, where Arthur was waiting for Jasmine. Tony and the others had already left for the tent. Arthur looked at Jasmine and smiled, "You look lovely, my dear."
Jasmine blushed, "Thank you, Arthur."
"Are you ready?"
Jasmine sighed, "As I'll ever be."
Arthur held out his arm, and Jasmine looped her arm through his; then, they made their way out to the tent. Meanwhile, Tony stood at the end of the aisle, trying to remain calm. Rhodey squeezed his shoulder, "Everything will be fine, Tones, you'll see."
"I hope so, Platypus."
Kingsley walked towards Tony and introduced himself, and told him that he would be officiating the wedding. Tony thanked him then Kingsley took his potions. On Hermione's signal, Kingsley waved to the orchestra to begin. When the music started, Ginny made her way down the aisle, followed by Luna. A few moments later, Hermione walked down the aisle as matron of Honor; then Jasmine came down on Arthur's arm.
Tony's mouth fell open at the sight of his bride. She looked radiant in her wedding dress; she seemed to almost glow. Tony couldn't help but smile at the young woman approaching him. She smiled back; Jasmine observed how handsome he looked in his suit. As she walked, Jasmine prayed to whoever was listening that she and Tony have a happy marriage. When she reached Tony, Arthur placed her hand in Tony's, and they faced Kingsley, and the ceremony began.
