Barry's P.O.V

Well... this is definitely not how I thought my day would turn out.

While having this thought, I watched as this complete stranger finished up signing the paperwork so that we could start living together.

"And… done." Caitlin said as she signed the last page and handed it to me.

"Thanks, i'll get this to the landlord as soon as possible."

"Thank you so much. I really, REALLY appreciate it. If it weren't for you I don't know where i'd be right now."

"Hey, i'm just glad that I could help," I said, offering her a smile, "do you need any help with your bags?"

"That would be great actually, also could you possibly tell me where the closest store is? I have a few more things I need to get before I can really settle in."

"No problem, I walk you down"

We went down while having friendly conversation, mainly talking about the building and other people who lived here that she would meet every now and again.

Within about fifteen minutes we got all of her stuff up and into her room and once she was settled I gave her the address to the closest store.

"There you go, would you like me to come with you so I can show you around?"

"No that's fine, I'll have to get acquainted with these streets at some point right." she said smiling nervously.

"Well, if you need any help finding anything you have my number, don't hesitate to call."

"Thank you again"

"It's my pleasure," I said, offering a kind smile.

As she turned to leave I had a realization.

"Oh wait! Before you go you're going to need this."

From the counter I received the second key and reached out to give it to her.

"Here's your key, you're kinda gonna need this to get back in."

"Oh right, thanks!"

As she grabbed the key from my hand, her fingers graced mine and I couldn't help but notice how smooth they were.

"N-no problem"

Did I really just stutter?

"I'll see you when you get back "

"Please, it's Caitlin," she said while adding the key to her keychain, "and thank you again. See you in a few Barry."

With that she turned and I was left alone in the apartment.

Man, I'm SO glad I didn't go with the craigslist guy.

As this thought passed through my head I had another moment of realization. Cisco had no idea about anything that's happened today.

Oh… I better call him. I'm so not gonna hear the end of this.
