Barry's P.O.V
"I literally left your place yesterday, and not only did you ask a complete stranger, whom you met in a coffee shop, to live with you, who just so happens to be looking for a place to stay… but you already MOVED THEM IN!"
Geez I thought looking down at my phone, he is NOT happy
"Come on Cisco, it's fine. Besides, I even took your advice and didn't find someone on Craigslist."
"How is this any better!"
"Because," I said, "I met her in person first."
"Oh of course, silly me, how had I not realized that meeting a total stranger and moving them into your apartment ON THE SAME DAY is somehow better." Cisco said with as much sarcasm as he could manage.
"Listen, I know that it's strange and incredibly reckless of me."
"You're tellin me"
"But it had to be done, you know how bad I needed a roommate and she had nowhere else to go. What should I have done, her out in the cold?"
There was a long pause before Cisco spoke up again. It was almost like I could hear his gears turning, trying to figure out how this could all go horribly wrong.
"I guess this DOES help you both out"
"See, I knew you'd come around." I said smiling knowing that I'd convinced him.
"Yea yea whatever," Cisco said with a slight smile in his voice.
"Come on, what would you do without me?"
"Probably have much lower blood pressure."
We both laughed and as the conversation shifted away from the situation to more of what we were used to. After hanging up I sat on the couch and finally had a moment just to think to myself.
I guess I really did just run right into this situation... but I've got a good feeling about this.
Suddenly my stomach started to growl and I realized how hungry I was after such an eventful day and decided to start.
Guess I should start on dinner, wait, she hasn't eaten either… I wonder if she likes alfredo?
Caitlyn's P.O.V
Following the directions to the closest store was easy enough as was getting the last few things I needed. Sitting in the parking lot, I double checked just to make sure that I did, in fact, get everything I needed.
Ok body wash, check, deodorant, check, shampoo and conditioner, check and check, totally not sure if i'm making the right decision... double check. God, what am I getting myself into?
My entire life I have done everything by the book. I went to college, I got the grades, I never got into trouble. Hell, I never even dated because it would be too much of a distraction from pursuing my career in Bo-Engineering. Besides, the last time I tried it… well it doesn't matter now.
Even with all of this, I still made the decision to move in with some guy I met in a café literally two hours ago. I should know better than this. I DO know better than this.
So why AM I doing this?
That question seemed to have become less about my moving in with a stranger and more of a... general encompassing of my life as of late.
I didn't have a lot of time to ponder that question as a text shook me out of my ever expanding rabbit hole of thought.

Hi Caitlyn, do you like pasta, specifically alfredo?
I was gonna make some for dinner and
I figured you may be hungry.
Just the sound of food made my stomach grumble. Well, I thought, I guess I haven't eaten anything with the hecticness that was today. Besides this seems like it would be a great time to get to know the stranger who I'll be living with for the foreseeable future.
Me
Hello Barry, that sounds great!
Do you need me to pick up anything while I'm out?
Barry Allen
No, you're all good.
Just bring your appetite!
With another rumble from my stomach I put my phone away and headed for the apartment and since I kinda knew my way there I could actually admire how beautiful the city was.
Well, coming to the city without knowing anyone may have been terrifying, and moving in with some guy I just met may have been reckless but I don't know... I've got a good feeling about this.
Hey, it's been awhile but I've definitely missed writing so this is me getting back into the swing of it.
Hopefully, I will be able to publish more regularly soon.
As always leave a review if you feel so inclined and have a good one!
