Our story resumes with Gaia riding the bus to school on a warm Monday morning. The light vibration of the bus riding on the rocky asphalt serenades the children on board, resulting in a quiet ride. As the bus comes to a halt at a stop sign, the deep hum of the engine is a perfect filling noise for the children peacefully resting before their day of education. With her knees propped up on the seat in front of her and a bookbag on her thighs, it made the perfect makeshift sleeping position for the remainder of the ride. Just as Gaia was reaching peak comfortability, that almost perfect moment of peace was interrupted by the screeching of tires coming from the front of the bus. This sudden loud noise awakened all the children, their heads slowly rising in unison to find the origin of the noise. Gaia kept her head down, trying to get back perfect space. An old and rusty 1977 convertible had drifted and parked directly in front of the bus. Two men came out of the car, a tall heavy set man and a short old man stereotypically dressed as a 1970s pimp emerged. The old pimp had a purple cheetah print coat with a large snow white fluffy collar, he also had a large Hamburg hat that was accompanied by a shiny white feather on the right other man looked out of place, what with his average street clothes you could mistake him for the average joe, you could also mistake the pimp for a child if it weren't for his wrinkled skin and flamboyant choice of style.

The taller man reached into the backseat and slowly pulled out a shotgun that was laying on the car floor. The kids frighteningly exclaimed as the body of the gun was being revealed. As the two men menacingly walked around to the side entrance the children began to mutter in fear. The old pimp drew back his coat and revealed a revolver tucked between his belt strap. He pulled it out and tapped the glass three times. "Open up," the old man said calmly. "I'm not opening the door. I'll protect these kids with my life!" the bus driver yelled from the inside. "Ok," the old man said and without hesitation the old man pointed the gun at the driver and pulled the trigger.

The driver's body was tense, he could see a bright light all he could hear was a loud ringing. He truly thought it was all over until the adrenaline wore off and he felt a burning sensation on the side of his face. The bullet charged through the glass door and grazed the side of his face, traveling from the bottom of his chin and bursting the top of his ear. The old pimp used his gun to break the rest of the glass of the door and the tall man forced the door open. The once fearless driver was now quivering in the presence of this old man. The pimp slowly reached his hand out and grabbed the handle to open the door to the bus, all while keeping eye contact with the driver. The larger man entered on the bus, making it shake with every step. Once fully inside the tall man had to slightly tilt his head given the height of the interior. The pimp menacingly strolled down the walkway, the childrens' faces began to cringe as the bus began to fill with a putrid smell of strong chemicals. Gaia continued to keep her head down.

"I know you rotten brats are loaded so this is how we're gonna do this," the pimp said as the tall man cocked the shotgun back. The pimp reached into his coat and pulled out some sort of folded cloth. As he unraveled it revealed to be a large sack. "I want all your valuables. That includes your phones, smart watches, and if you got expensive name brand shoes, ima need you to get barefoot." He then began to walk past every student, holding out the bag until they dropped everything he thought was worth taking. He got to Gaia's seat and put the sack beside her. "Hey little girl, get your ass up and contribute," the pimp said. Gaia ignored the man and continued her attempt at sleep. The pimp reached his hand out to shake her shoulder. "Didn't you he-" he was interrupted by Gaia slapping his hand before it made contact. "Don't touch me," Gaia said in an agitated tone. "Oh, i'm sorry, *points gun at her head* how's this," the pimp said. Moving from her sleeping position for the first time, Gaia looks up at the man with an emotionless face. "Look slickback, why don't you just take what you have, pawn it in, buy some crack or whatever and get on with your day." Now angry, the pimp pulled back the hammer of the gun. Before he could think of what to do next, Gaia quickly grabbed his hand and pulled his body towards her. Using the momentum; she led his face straight into her fist, punching him directly in the nose. The pimp stepped back while holding his nose with two hands. The children looked in terror as they heard the muffled screams coming from his now bloody hands.

Gaia stood up and walked up to the injured man. "Why you little bi-" the old man was interrupted by another punch in the stomach that made him fly into the bus's ceiling. As he hit the ground, the pimp's hat fell off his head revealing his shiny bald head. The bus walkway slowly filled with blood dripping from his face, he looked up from the ground to see Gaia looking down on him with that same emotionless face. The pimp slowly got up from the ground and while coughing blood he yelled to his partner "What are you waiting for? SHOOT HER!" And right as the tall man lifted his shotgun and pulled the trigger, it was like time slowed. "What is this?",Gaia thought to herself. She could see the flame engulfed pellets bursting through the barrel in slow motion. "I don't know what is going on right now, but if these dirtbags are willing to bring guns onto a school bus and are willing to fire means that they are the lowest of the low. A virus that needs to be wiped off the Earth before it spreads and infects others," Gaia says as she picks the old pimp up from his collar and places him in the path of the shotgun pellets, his fate sealed while locked mid air . She watches the red hot balls fly past her face, moving any pellet straying towards a student back at the old man.

Gaia walked up to the tall man and removed the shotgun from his hands. "Hmm I wonder what else I could do?," Gaia asked herself as snapped the shotgun in half with ease. "Yes!," Gaia said excitingly. A small rush then went through Gaia's body. She could feel time going back to normal so she got into position to end it. She could hear the loud impact of the pellets hitting the old pimp in the chest, sending him flying into the back of the bus. Not even the gasps of air the injured old man clinging to life made Gaia turn around, she was focused on the man in front of her. The whole bus was silent. No one knows what they just saw happen. The tall man stood awestruck as he saw his gun in half on the ground in front of him. With nothing left to lose the man put his fist up to fight. Gaia immediately smiles and puts her hand out and waves towards her. The tall man runs towards her and she gets into her stance. Gaia then lunges at the tall man with her knee with incredible speed, colliding perfectly with his neck. The man flew straight directly out the front window and onto the street. Gaia then walked to the back of the bus and grabbed the near corpse and dragged him down the walkway. As she walked down the walkway with the old geezer in her grip, the students could do nothing but just stare in silence at what they were witnessing.

She walked down the bus stairs and around the bus to where the mangled body of the tall man was. She lazily throws the old man beside the other. She sees that they are both barely breathing. "Thankfully nobody was hurt so at this very moment you have been given a choice, to fight for your life right here and atone for your crimes or die where you lay. That is the mercy I give to you," Gaia says as faint sirens come from the background. " *Scoff* I got blood on my new pants, you owe me new khakis asshole. It seems like your friends are here so I'm gonna leave you too it," she said as she walked back onto the bus students joined in on the laughter, pointing at the injured men and mocking them. The two men laid in agony as they faced the towards the sky. The sun beaming on their face was the only pleasurable thing out of this unfortunate situation. Gaia walked past the bus driver and he looked at her with a face of terrified wonder. She put her finger over her mouth as she walked back to her seat.

The police arrived and the story written in the report is stated as follows: " At approximately 7:15 A.M, the aggressors came onto the bus with intention to rob the students at gunpoint. Aggressor #1 armed with a revolver and aggressor #2 armed with a shotgun, both with the serial numbers scratched off. Aggressor #1 assaulted the bus driver by attempting to take his life with a shot to the face. The bullet grazed his face causing vertical scarring across the right side of his face. As aggressor #1 was harassing the students for their possessions the bus driver pushed the gas causing aggressor #2 to shoot aggressor #1. When aggressor #2 gets up the bus driver slams on the brakes, causing him to fly out the window. No students were harmed and both criminals were brought to the hospital and will be monitored until well enough to be prosecuted"

Another bus came to pick the students up and took them to school. After all the adrenaline let up all the kids gathered around Gaia in excitement. "You're so awesome, are you a superhero?" one boy asks. "So cool how you super kneed that man out the window like freaking badass," one girl says. Gaia puts her feet in the walkway and gestured for the students to huddle up. "Look guys can we keep this between us? I am just as clueless as you all are. I just don't want this to get blown out of proportion so let this be our little secret, okay?" The student's eyes widened up as if they were given the highest honor. They all nodded as the bus pulled into the driveway of Hollow High.

The students walk off the bus with their grinning faces and enter the school. They make it on time with the 8 o'clock bell ringing with them all dispersing in different directions for their classes. Gaia hears the murmurs of bus mates as they walk away from her. The late bell rings and class begins. Gaia sits in the middle of the class but the entire time she's there all she could think about is that moment. The brief moment where everything stopped, where she was in control of everything. By the time she came back to her senses the bell rings for the class to be dismissed. "Did I really just daydream the whole class," Gaia thought. She shrugged it off and walked out the classroom. As she walked in the hallway, a boy roughly the same age as her walks beside her. The boy had what could be a birthmark or a scar that resembled a lightning strike over his right blue eye while the other was brown. He wore a black graphic hoodie. He had violent muscles for a 15 year old that showed even through his hoodie which made people look at him weird.

" Yo, I heard what you did on the bus this morning. That's metal as fuck. I didn't know pretty girls like to fight," the boy said. Gaia puts her hand on her face in annoyance and sighs. "You gotta be kidding me, who told you?," Gaia asked. "Word travels fast, I'm X by the way," he said as he put his hand out. Gaia shakes it and continues to walk with X. "So if you like fighting, my uncles' got a fight club. There are crazy opponents but I have a feeling you're special," X says while opening his bookbag. "I don't know," is what came out of Gaia's mouth but in her mind she was screaming in excitement. Gaia was deemed a prodigy in martial arts at a very young age and since that age she has always been on the hunt to prove herself as the best. In later years, she hasn't been able to find any opponents she deemed a challenge. This was the perfect opportunity to hone her skills and maybe have a chance at finding a worthy competitor. "Well here is the address, just think about it ok? I gotta get to class. Hopefully I see you there!" X said as he sped away to his class.

Later that day while Gaia was sitting on her bed looking at the note:

1199 Goldheart Ave.

Basement of the old bar

12 a.m Be there or be square!

It was 11:50 and Gaia was still split on her decision. Her mother's T.V was still on but she had a feeling her mother was asleep. Gaia tip-toed into her mothers room and quietly grabbed her mothers car keys from her dresser, as she left the room Gaia turned the T.V up and left the house. Her mother's car was a hybrid so it didn't make sound cranking up, but Gaia didn't want to take any precautions. She arrives at the old bar on time. She got out of the car but before she went inside a bolt of lightning struck the sky. When it subsided, X could be seen sitting on the roof. "Yes, I knew you would come. This is gonna be good," X said in a menacing voice. He then does a frontflip off the roof and lands on two feet next to Gaia. She contemplated to herself to find a reason why all that was necessary, but she shrugged it off and they walked into the bar together. It was a dark bar, the mold that occupies the corners resembles carpet. A health inspector wouldn't enter this bar unless he had a mask, a hazmat suit, and a flamethrower.

The pair walked to the stairwell that led to the basement of the bar. Once they took a couple of steps down the stairs it was like a new world. It was a whole stadium that had a masquerade of seats filled with roaring fans surrounding an octagon pit. The pit had two doors on opposite sides of each other, the doors quickly opened and two men ran at each other. The crowd goes crazy as the men fight like they are trying to kill each other. X takes Gaia to a lower level. They enter a lobby area with people sitting on wooden benches. Judging by their wounds and bandages, it's safe to say that they were previous competitors. ".I already paid your fee and signed you up for a champion run," X said to Gaia. "Damn, what if I just came to watch," Gaia responded. X had no response. They stared at each other awkwardly. "Can you just explain the damn thing," Gaia says in a defeated tone. "Basically you have to beat everyone. And after that you have to beat the champion. No one has even come close to beating the champion. They say he tore a man in half once. But I think you got it.," X explained. To his surprise he sees no fear in her eyes. "Let's do this," Gaia says while hitting her knuckles together.

The bell rings and Gaia is led to a hallway. A tall slim woman with a small headset on guided her where she needed to go. "Just go down that hallway and it'll be a loop to the octagon, Good Luck!" the lady said cheerfully. Gaia smiled and walked into the octagon. Gaia entered the octagon with her black robe that was tied with a burgundy sash. Her hair was tied up tightly and she wore no shoes. "And here we have Rose Fire! And she is going for the champion run!" the announcer exclaims. "You couldn't think of anything better than that X," Gaia thought. The crowd gasps in terror. "This small girl couldn't do this." "It's Suicide" The crowd's gossips fueled the fire inside of Gaia giving her more fighting spirit. "And here is her opponent! He is undefeated in the heavyweight division in underground kickboxing! Give it up for Psycho Mike!" The bell dings and Psycho Mike foolishly charges at Gaia. She closes her eyes and gets into a stance. The crowd cries out in fear, this can't possibly happen to a small innocent girl. Psycho Mike closes in on Gaia and lunges towards her. She side steps and trips him. The cries immediately stop. Gaia smiles while keeping her eyes closed. Psycho Mike yells to the sky and runs towards Gaia again. He stops in front of her and throws an array of punches and kicks at Gaia. She softly parries the all effortlessly. Psycho Mike tries even harder to land a hit. Every strike thrown, parried. Every kick stopped her shin. All while keeping her eyes closed. Psycho Mike's attacks started to get slower, he was tiring out. He backed up and went for an all or nothing move that has worked on all his previous opponents. He then proceeded to run as fast as he could and put all his strength he had left in his legs. He jumped up in the air, came down with a drop down kick. His speed increased as he descended towards Gaia. With her eyes still closed she flexed her legs making the cement under legs crack and jumped up towards Psycho Mike and stopped him midair. She then proceeded to grab his leading leg and throwing him back onto the ground. He landed on his face, and just when he thought it was done, Gaia was still gaining air. To put it in perspective, the height between the octagon floor and the ceiling is at least one hundred feet. Gaia was a foot off. The crowd's attendees' mouths were fixed open to see this small girl 99 feet in the air. Gaia got into position to deliver the most devastating elbow drop. Nobody witnessing could believe what they were seeing. As Gaia came down her speed increased rapidly. As her speed increased there was a spark seen from the tip of her elbow. That one spark then multiplied until a fire could be seen forming around her elbow. Psycho Mike couldn't move, he was too exhausted and in pain from getting thrown nearly didn't help. Attendants in the back said it looked like a meteor coming down, the impact lit up the room. Gaia perfectly lands directly onto Psycho Mike's spine, instantly paralyzing him. She gets up, but Psycho Mike gets up beside her. Gaia's elbow was still stuck in between his broken spine. She shoves him off and his limp body hits the floor. "Damn, got some Psycho Mike on my robe," Gaia says as she rubs the remaining bone off of her elbow. "FIRE ROSE WINS!" the announcer yells gallantly.

The crowd roars in excitement. Gaia raises her hands and the crowd roars louder. From here, Gaia dominates the competition. He piled the unconscious bodies of any foolish man that dared face her. Some were sent to the infirmary with broken skeletons, others to therapy for severe PTSD. The crowd loved her but this they have felt before. Potential champions that fell victim to the true undefeated champion. The people think to themselves "Why do I keep coming to these events if they all end the same." Anyone who attended shared this same thought. Everyone , except X. "Ladies and Gentleman, this is the moment you've all been dreading. Our little Fire Rose is burnt out. Because right here, right now, is where men break! Need I introduce myself? THE CHAMPION!" the announcer yelled. The announcer jumped his podium that sat above the benches and into the ring. He ripped off his three piece suit to reveal a shredded body. "Oh this isn't it," the announcer says and he transforms into a large ogre-like creature. The monstrosity was 9 feet 3 inches of pure muscle. He towered over Gaia and looked down on her with his glowing red eyes. "Tremble," he says as he slams down. He breaks the ground, sending debris everywhere. "Wow, you are the first one in a long time to survive one attack," the announcer says in his deep mangled ogre tone. Gaia laughs. "You think this is a joke?!," he yells in anger. Gaia laughs even louder. She stretches her arms out and looks towards the ceiling while continuing to laugh. "Have I found it, have I really found them?. A worthy challenger? Is this the moment that I have been waiting for?" Gaia exclaims out loud. "Foolish child, you are clearly mentally sick. Allow me to put you out of your misery," the feared champion said. He charged at Gaia and jumped. He came down with a flip kick causing more destruction to the ground. He stood up and put his guard up. Gaia ran up to the monster and as he swung his fist for a forward punch, Gaia ran up his arm and kicked the ogre in the face. She lands perfectly on two feet. The ogre snaps his jaw back in place. "You die here, you little pissant!" the ogre says. "Bring it on, Shrek!" Gaia said confidently. He charged at her once more. Every step had a bass that could be heard through the whole stadium. The ogre goes for another punch and Gaia throws a punch to intercept it. Their fist collided creating a loud boom with faint cracking. The cracking was the champion's bones being turned into dust. He falls over in pain but he could reach the ground Gaia kicks his legs causing him to to be in mid air for a brief moment. Gaia positions herself in the correct stance, complete with a perfect form.. And in that brief moment, the champion's fate was sealed. Gaia kicked upwards through the mid section of the ogre. Splitting him in half. "Oops, too hard," Gaia giggled. The crowd celebrated and raved as if the world was saved from imminent doom. From all the benches, one by one the attendants threw money down at the octagon. Eventually it was raining money, precipitation of all kinds of bills fell at Gaia's feet. The clean up crew helped her clean up all of her money. Watching the whole time from above, in his private room. X's uncle, the owner. Looking down from his window with his hands behind his back. "This is quite interesting."

Gaia quietly enters the driveway. She gets out of the car and goes to the backseat and pulls out two large duffle bags. She then walks around to the passenger side to grab another large duffle bag. She lugs it all in the house as quietly as she could. Good thing her room is on the opposite side of the house from hers. She drops the bags onto her bed. She sneaks into her mom's room and puts the keys right back where she found them. She tiredly walks back into her room. She opens one of the duffle bags and it's full of stacks of money. She zips it back up and stacks the bags inside her closet. She takes off her robe and changes into her night clothes. She looks at her phone to check the time: 12:30 a.m . "Nice timing," Gaia says while yawning. She peacefully falls asleep.

I would firstly like to sincerely apologize for the wait. I have a found a new inspiration and I am back to save this series from dying.
