Dawnflame's P.O.V
At first I was a bit confused when Fireflight came flying back home with a small human on her back. "Dawn, this girl needs help!" Were the first words that I heard as my sister came bursting into the house. I blinked and spun around, my light blue and orange wings spreading wide as I spun around to gaze at Fireflight with wide and worried icy-blue eyes. "Firefly! What are you doing with a human hatchling on you back?" I hissed like a cat as my eyes landed on the half-unconscious girl laying on my sister's back. She sighed and twitched her tail from side-to-side. "I told you, she needs help!" She said with an exaggerated sigh. I chucked softly and motioned with one of my wings for my sister to lay the girl gently down on the small couch in the living room.
Summer's P.O.V
I woke up to Winger pacing the room like a caged animal. "Morning Wing! What's got you so stressed?" I asked. "I'm not stressed, I'm just wondering why Leyla hasn't come back yet." He told me. "I'm sure she's just out flying or training with Aggro. They'll be back soon, I'm sure of it." I told him. I knew that was a big fat lie, but I wanted to give him a bit of hope. So that's why I said what I did. "It's more then just what happened yesterday. I found Aggro and Leyla whispering to each other and stopping abruptly when they saw me. I asked what was up and they insisted it was nothing." Winger reported. Hmm. That didn't sound like Leyla. He continued, "I think I might have a plan to find out what's happening." I sighed and rubbed my eyes with a paw. That was actually a few days ago, but we were all tired and our brains were all as but she has marshmallows due to lack of sleep, but we could't sleep.
My eyes slowly opened to the sound of laughter and running pawsteps. I yawned and rubbed my eyes with my paws. It has been 3 days since Leyla's disappearance, and I've been really gloomy and depressed since the night me and Aggro went out to look for her, but onto to come back home with empty paws. I sighed again and I slowly made my way outside to join the others for breakfast. The conversation that I had had earlier with Wing popped into my head as I absentmindedly dug holes in the dirt with my claws.
Leyla's P.O.V
I awoke to something warm underneath of me. I groaned and with painstaking slowness, I managed to peel my eyelids open. Everything was blurry and my head felt foggy and the world was spinning. But through my blurry vision, I could faintly make out two pairs of worried bright yellow eyes. I yelped and tried to stand to my feet, but the stranger gently pushed me back down with a paw. I pouted and mumbled under my breath as I stared up into the dragon's concerned gaze.
"Woah! Easy, easy. You took a pretty hard hit to the head." A calm and motherly voice spoke to me. "You need to take it easy and rest." The fire dragon continued speaking to me after a short pause. "Do you remember your name?" The dragon asked me with a tilt of her head. I nodded my head in response. "Yes, yes I remember my name." I replied after a few moments of silence. "My name is Leyla." I told them while staring down at my hands. "Why did you ask me that again, your Fireflight... right?" I tirelessly off as I finally looked up at the dragon who was talking to me. "Oh! I uh... sorry, I thought you were Fireflight." I told her with a sheepish smile on my face. The dragon just laughed quietly and shook her head. "I'm Fireflight's older sister, Dawnflame." She told me with an amused smile forming on her face as she continued to watch me as I tugged on my braid.
