Hello dear readers! Sorry for the long wait, but I had some other 'business' to take care of. It's been an extremely long ride, but now Imma back! Enjoy part 2!

Kate returns home, only to be greeted by pitch blackness. She wanders around the house and heads to the kitchen. "Dad, I think I found something," Kate called out as she turns on the lights. "SURPRISE!" A crowd cheers as they toot party horns and fire confetti from cardboard poster tubes. "Welcome back, Kate!' Mary exclaims. Shinjiro pushes himself through the crowd to see his sister. "SIS!" Shinjiro cries as he rushes to Kate and gives her a long hug. The crowd awes and gets the party started.

As the party gets into full swing, Kate rummages through the crowd to get to her dad. "Dad, I have something," Kate tells him. Jacob tells his men that they are excused and chats with his bisexual daughter, who plugs in a black USB hard drive into a laptop. "Where'd you get this?" Jacob asked. "Wayne's camera feed isn't on the Crow's network," Kate responds. Just then, Dogson arrives with a tablet in hand. "Not sure how to get a facial recognition with this. They're all wearing masks." He sighs. "What does the paddle say on it?" Kate asks, pointing at an uneven scratch on the paddle. Dogson zooms in on the footage. "Milk, well behave, C-H." He reads. "Correction: Not for the mild well-behaved child." Kate corrected him.

"The Burnside Orphanage. Beth, Shinjiro, and I used to sneak in there with our ouija board and freak each other out. That's where they're gonna be." She describes. "Taylor, get a satellite feed. I want eyes all over this. Dogson, cover the north entrance with me. Banks takes his team on the south. Let's roll!" Jacob commands as the team gears up, but he turns around to find that his daughter wasn't here.

(Burnside Orphanage)

Kate sneaks inside the building, only to see that it's occupied by several people from the footage. The masked henchmen attack her, but Kate manages to knock them out, only to receive a sneak attack from behind, knocking her out.

Kate wakes up to find herself tied up. She faces Alice swinging her butterfly knife, which now looks like a silver blur. "Curiouser and curiouser." She comments. "Up, up." By her command, the goons elevate Kate so that she's on her knees. "I thought you'd been sent away but now you seem to be...here." Alice continues as she gets up from her armchair. "How do you know me?" Kate asked coldly as Alice moved her head.

No response.

"Where's Sophie?" Kate demands. "Gone, and just in time because I'm not used to being found. Clever girl." Alice congratulates. "If you didn't want an audience, I'd be dead. So what do you want?" Kate questions again.

"I need you to send your father a message, Kate Kane." Echoed a mechanical/humanoid voice as the metal figure walks in. "He thinks he is Gotham's white knight, but all he is is a pitiful man whose army controls this city into obedience." He continues. "AKA, we want the world to know that he doesn't scare us. We want to take away his power." Alice interjected. "Why don't you target me and leave Sophie alone, huh?" Kate said. The metal figure lets out a metallic sigh/growl. "So, you want the cold hard truth? Well then." He gloats. "We took Sophie because poor little officer Moore will actually get his attention." He continues. "He shipped you away, and you showed up without the proper postage. I assumed you knew, but then again, you have been so busy trying to convince him to love his traumatized daughter." This made Kate lash out in anger. "You don't have a right to say that, you monster!" She exclaimed. "Who the hell are you?!"

"Right. I'm Alice. And Tin Man over here is Bemular." Alice greeted. "How do you do?" She asks before Bemular swings his metal hand across Kate's face, knocking her out again and leaving a cat-like scratch across her cheek. "Piece of cake, my dear." He growls, flicking his wrist and causing Kate's blood to fly off. "You always please me~" Alice purrs. Bemular chuckles as she brings him in for a kiss.

(Timeskip: Hours later...)

After getting patched up by Mary and lectured by her dad, Kate storms off to Wayne Enterprises with Shinjiro, who was pleading to take him with her. After forcefully getting some answers out of Luke Fox, she notices something and walks toward the main office's bookshelf. "Someone moved that." She tells Luke. "Wait, how the hell would YOU know?" Luke winces, holding his arm. "It was my aunt Martha's. She was wearing it the night that she and my uncle Thomas were killed, but he always kept it..." She explains. "Here."

As if what she said earlier was a secret password, she turns the glass pyramid, and with a faint *click*, the bookshelf slides open, revealing an old elevator. This shocks Shinjiro the most. Sure, he was the only boy of the Kane family and played with his sisters in Wayne Enterprises one time, but he was never that much of a detective. (Oof!)

Kate walks into the elevator and Shinjiro follows. Luke begins to ramble about how she can't go downstairs, but it's too late. The elevator was already descending. The next thing they knew, the siblings were greeted by a flock of bats as they fly past them.

They had entered their cousin's Batcave*, unused for a LOOOONG time, but yet, there was not a speck of dust found. As the gigantic Tumbler with it's beige-and-brown camo paintjob arises from the turntable behind them, Shinjiro spots 2 mannequins and sees that one of them is Bruce's jet black padded batsuit (Batman Begins). But what catches his attention the most was the other mannequin. It was stored in a shiny silver suit container. He sees a silver and red suit of armor inside. The barred row of lights below the feet of the armor made it shine like an SH Figuarts action figure as Shinjiro placed his hand on the Plexiglass front in awe.

"Bruce built this suit of armor?" Shinjiro questioned. "But for what purpose?" He added. Luke walks over to him. "What you're looking at right now is a prototype that Bruce built." He told him, sounding like a museum tour guide. "Seriously? My cousin was building this suit of armor? Sheesh, what was he trying to do? Become the next Iron Man?" Kate joked. "My dad said the same thing to him when he was getting the parts to build it," Luke added. "OK, enough of the talk, Mr. Tour Guide. I need you to fix his suit and fully upgrade that crashproof tin can over there." She declared.

"The suit is literal perfection, and that other suit is not a tin can!" Luke claims.

"It will be..." Kate promises. "When it fits a woman."

Luke simply faints.

*(Think of the cave as a blend of 1966 and Stark Malibu Mansion's garage lab.)
