Quick thing, the extras are not actual things that happen but similar interactions might happen later on. That was just a funny thing of Damion getting taken down by his sister similar to what mine did to me when I showed my knife collection to her boyfriend and explained how I could do a lot of damage. My sister used a mega-nerf gun that I tricked out to be more powerful. So, moral of the story, don't underestimate sisters and don't expect stepmoms to care when you definitely deserved what you got.

Ruby-

"She was a member of the White Fang," I said in disbelief.

"Yes," Damion said, looking at me.

"S-she hurt people," I said.

"Ruby, not everyone is perfect. I've hurt people plenty of times," Damion admitted.

"I know, but I don't think I can tell her about me until after the break."

"Alright, do it, wait. Just make sure that you don't jump her. I'll help keep Weiss and Yang away with some special training."

"Don't kill them," I whined.

"Nah, they're gonna try to kill me," Damion said.

"They won't?" I asked.

"Ruby, even with my weakness to silver I can take your whole team if I try."

"I'm inclined to believe that," I relented.

"Now, let's have some fun. Technically you are on break," Damion said.

"Yeah, you're right," I said.

We then spent the break at the house and we worked on some weapon designs. We spent most of the time trying to build me a back-up but couldn't agree on a design. We ended up getting it down to either a katana or tanto that can have dust infused with the blade or a small gauntlet with a whip hidden in it that can have dust infused. By the end we had two designs and dad and uncle Qrow were amazed that we almost never left our forge. Damion actually found a new fusion of dust(but won't tell me what). But, all good things must come to an end and we went back to Beacon.

"Yang, I-I'm going to tell Blake," I said.

"Are you sure? I'm not saying you shouldn't but just want to make sure," Yang said, looking at me from her bed.

"Yeah, she's my partner and I have to tell her at some point."

"Alright, I'll get Weiss to do something with me," Yang said, trying to think of something.

"Damion said to let him know and he'll help," I said.

"Ugh, that means fighting him probably," Yang groaned.

"Hey, he said he'd go easier. Unless you get any better ideas please do it," I asked.

"Fine, but you will owe me," Yang said.

"I'll give you a weapon upgrade," I said.

"Deal," Yang said, walking out.

"Alright, time to get Blake here," I said, taking out my scroll. I sent her a message and removed the pins from my ears. I tossed my hood over my wolf ears to keep them hidden for now.

"Hey, what do you need?" Blake asked, walking in.

"It would be best if I just show you," I said, pulling my hood down as my ears came out. I looked at her face as it went through many emotions. Confusion, sadness, annoyance, and then ending in anger.

"Really? I thought you were better than this. Did you really get fake ears?"

"Blake, just let me," I started.

"You know what they mean right? Do you think it's funny to wear them? Are they cute little ornaments for people to wear? I can't take you seriously like this, take these stupid things off," Blake yelled, coming at me and grabbing my left ear and pulling on it.

I yelped in pain as some of the fur came out. Blake looked at the fur in her hand and then me as fear took over her face, and then she ran. I watched as she ran and pulled my hood up and curled into a ball. I started crying, not because Blake pulled my ear but because she broke her promise. She ran. I don't know how long I was there but after a few moments I heard the door open and felt two arms wrap around me.

"Ruby, what happened?" Damion asked.

"S-she thought I was lying and ran when she realized that I wasn't," I said.

"Hey, it's alright," he said, rubbing my ear like normally would but it was still raw and caused me to yelp in pain. "She thought they were fake and pulled them, didn't she?"

"Y-yeah. She didn't know though," I said.

"I'm gonna kill her," Yang said, standing at the door.

"Yang, where's Weiss?" Damion asked.

"Hospital wing, and Blake's about to be dead," Yang said, eyes red burning with rage. Then I remembered something.

"Damion, Blake's eyes changed color, similar to your's," I whispered.

"Alright, I know where she is," Damion whispered back. "Yang, go check the forest, Ruby and I will check the school, and don't kill her or I will make you regret it," Damion told Yang.

"Where is she?" I asked.

"Ruby, stay here, I need to do this by myself," Damion said, quickly making a portal under him. I quickly grabbed him and was pulled through with him. "Of course you wouldn't listen to me. At least you have your weapon so help me," he said, taking Shadow Rose out in it's scythe mode.

"What do you, oh," I said, looking at a big panther grimm in the middle of his personal arena. I took out Crescent Rose Damion then reached over and activated the small silver addition that he added in incase he were to lose control. "Wait, you aren't saying that another hybrid is here?" I asked.

"More than just at the school, that's Blake," Damion said.

"Oh, and I caused her to lose control," I said.

"Not exactly, let's just take her down quickly and without doing too much damage," he said.

"Dueling Roses?" I asked.

"Fine," he sighed.

The two of us charged together our scythes on opposite sides and slashed to the middle at the same time.

Blake-

Ugh, why am I so sore? I thought.

"Because I had to knock you out," Damion said.

"Didn't realize I said that out loud," I groaned

"You didn't have to, we can see it on your face," Ruby said, causing me to panic.

"Ruby, I-I'm so sorry that I didn't believe you and pulled your ear," I said, getting up and looking at the young girl.

"It's alright Blake, I know people like to do that stuff so I can't blame you. But, I don't know if I can forgive you for breaking your promise. You said you wouldn't run again and lied."

"I-I'm sorry, I just didn't know what to do," I lied.

"Stop lying to me! I know you're a hybrid too. I help my brother take you down," Ruby yelled.

"S-sorry. I just didn't know what to do, I always run when I get scared and I like you and don't want to make you hurt. Hearing you yelp like that when I pulled your ear broke my heart," I admitted.

"Alright, the two of you need to talk by yourselves so I'm heading out, let me know when you are done," Damion said, walking out.

"Blake, why would you think I would make fun of faunus like that?"

"I-I honestly didn't know what to think. The idea of you being a faunus never crossed my mind, even with your brother being one. I just thought that you might've had a dog as well as your brother being one. The thing is I was taught to think the worst of humans when I was younger," I explained.

"I understand. I know the things that people say and do. I'm not mad, but it might take some time for things to go back to normal. Still," Ruby said, giving me a hug. "I thought you might need a hug."

"Thanks, I'm sorry again about accidentally pulling your ears. They're sensitive aren't they?"

"Yeah, I normally use hair pins and they hurt a lot more than being pulled on. Also don't worry about me telling anyone about your condition. Damion knows that it's difficult when you're first changed and I'm assuming you haven't been one for that long," Ruby said.

"Yeah, I became one a month before the year started. Damion's been a good help too," I said, as the door busted in.

"Blake Belladonna, get the hell away from my sister!" Yang yelled, stomping in.

"Yang," Ruby started.

"Ruby, I need to make sure you don't get hurt by her again. I don't care if you forgave her but you need to stop being so easy to forgive," Yang said.

"Why? Because you think I'll end up like my mom?" Ruby asked.

"Ruby, you know that's not what I meant," Yang said. "But she should not have reacted so violently!"

"You don't understand!" Ruby yelled. "And you'll never understand because you're human!"

"What don't I understand!?" Yang yelled.

"Well," Damion said walking in. "Ruby smells human to most faunus."

"So?" Yang asked.

"After the war humans would put on fake faunus appendages and make fun of us," I said.

"W-what?"

"It still happens," Damion said. "Birthdays, festivals, parties, anywhere and everywhere. Not only that but they also do worse. What you've seen in Beacon by Cardin and his team is nothing compared to what I've seen on missions. I've had huntsmen refuse my help and then need saving by me against their will. I've even stopped some that were hunting some faunus to claim their ears," Damion said. "Blake's response is one hundred persent reasonable."

"I-I didn't know," Yang said.

"Partially because Tai and dad didn't want you to think that you had to protect us. We don't need protection," Damion said.

"Yeah, and Blake's my partner so it's not like we couldn't spend time with each other," Ruby added.

"I-I'm sorry about what I did and I understand if you still don't like me, but don't let it hurt our team," I said.

"Fine, but if you do anything to hurt her again I will punch you, hard," Yang said.

"Thanks," I said.

"There, all better, now please go back to your dorm or just get out of my office at least," Damion said.

"Sorry," Ruby said, walking out with her sister.

"Blake, now that you've accepted yourself we can go to the next part of gaining control," Damion whispered to me. "Also warning, this is the worst part, physically and mentaly."

"Yay," I sighed.

"Don't worry, you have the rest of the week to prepare."

The next week I went back and he kept making me transform while thinking of something that I wanted to protect. I kept going through everything I could think of until I got to what made me not immediately go berserk. Ruby. I thought of her smile, the time we've spent reading books together, how much I love h-

What? I thought, as I quickly lost control. I came to a moment later.

"What happened?" Damion asked.

"I lost focus."

"Why?"

"I-I don't know."

"I can tell when people lie so try again."

"I-I realized something about w-what I was thinking of."

"What did you realize about my sister?"

"W-what!? I didn't say anything about Ruby," I said, panicking.

"From what I could gather of when you told me what you were thinking of I figured it was her, so what about her did you realize? Or, was it something you realized about yourself involving her?"

"U-um," I said.

"Let's get some lunch, just work on getting it fixed," he said, walking out.

We went and sat with the rest of my team. Ruby went up to get some food and I noticed some guys approaching her and I figured they were hitting on her.

"Aren't you supposed to go into big brother mode and threaten them?" Weiss asked.

"Eh, for me to do that they would need a chance which they do not," Damion said, taking a bite of his rare steak.

"Why don't they?" she asked, confused.

"Yeah, how do you know?" I added.

"Let's just say she prefers the sheath instead of the sword," he said, grinning as if he just said the funniest joke.

"I don't get it," I said.

"Oh, um, alright then," Weiss said.

"I'm confused."

"She's gay," Damion bluntly said. "She's not shy about it either. I'm pretty sure she thinks you've known and so hasn't said anything."

"Well, that's something. I guess thinking back on it I can see why she would think that," I said.

"Also, if you're going after Torchwick, don't," Damion said, getting up.

"We aren't going to listen to him are we?" Ruby asked, sitting back down.

"Nope," Yang said.

A couple nights later we went out and regretted not listening to him. Torchwick had an Atlesian Paladin and Ruby took a rough hit while we were chasing him and I saw her aura drop to a sliver. I quickly sent to where she was thrown and noticed a call on my scroll and saw the ID was a Beacon teacher. I answered it guessing who it was.

"What the fuck just happened to cause Ruby's aura to drop like that?" Damion asked.

"Doesn't matter, she's unconscious and her aura isn't replenishing," I said.

"Alright, you need to jump start her aura then," he said.

"How? Can't you portal and do it?"

"You're way too far for my portal to reach. You know how you give mouth to mouth to someone? It's like that only instead of pushing air you push aura," he said.

"Does it have to be done mouth to mouth?" I asked, scared of kissing her.

"Yes, it has to be mouth to mouth. I know I'm basically telling you to kiss my sister but just do it. You won't pass your hybrid powers to her so do it!"

"Fine," I said, kneeling next to her. I pushed my hair to the side and put my lips on hers forcing my aura through them. Eventually I was pushed back as Ruby sat up and I quickly pulled her into a hug.

"W-why were you kissing me?" she asked.

"Y-your aura was almost out and Damion called and told me how to jump start it so it replenished. I'm sorry but it was the only way to save you," I said, pulling her into a hug.

"I can't complain about a hot girl kissing me can I?" Ruby asked.

"I-I can't lose you," I said. "I love you," I confessed.

"W-what?"

"S-sorry, I just had to say that. Stay here and I'll be back," I said, running in the direction that Torchwick went. I found Damion there with Yang and Weiss and a broken mech.

"How's Ruby?" Damion asked me.

"Good, she's awake and I thought I should come make sure everyone here was good. When did you get here?"

"After I hung up on you I started portaling across Vale and sensed Yang's aura and jumped out and took the mech down while these two were playing around," Damion said, motioning to the two girls next to him. "They managed to escape before I could get them. He had a short girl with him."

"Also, I fixed my issue with you know what," I added.

"Good, now we can work on progressing later. First off, let's all get to Beacon and you can talk to Glynda and explain this to her because I really don't want to deal with her," Damion said.

"Teacher of the year," Yang sighed.

"I've had to deal with her since I was seven so it's your turn," Damion retorted.

"Oh, yeah I forgot you've been at Beacon for that long," Yang said.

"Wait, you were on a team that young?" Weiss asked.

"Yeah," Damion said, getting a far off look. "Team DRKNS. They tossed me on a full team so if I went out of control they could take me down."

"They sound strong, can we meet them?" Weiss asked.

"No," he said, walking away and jumping to a roof and disappearing.

"What was that about?" I asked.

"It's not my tale to tell," Yang said somberly.

"Ask Damion," Ruby said, stumbling up to us.

"Ruby!" Yang said, rushing up to her sister and helping her walk. "Sorry I didn't go to help you after you took that hit. Blake was already jumping back so I let her handle it so Weiss wasn't alone."

"Hey, it's fine. I'm alive and tomorrow I'll be perfectly fine. If years of playing video games and D&D has taught me anything it's that a night's rest will heal all injuries," Ruby exclaimed.

"You know it doesn't really work that way right?" I asked.

"What?" Ruby asked, confused. "It doesn't?"

"Ugh, why are you such a child?" Weiss sighed.

"H-hey," Ruby pouted.

So, yeah. Ladybug is a thing, for now… I honestly don't know if it will stay this way or not so we shall see. Also, what's up with Damion and his team? I don't know! This is a different team DRKNS and they are partially based off other characters and media. Follow, favorite, kudos, and comment!
