The Regnant awoke as she blinked her eyes and swallowed. She found her throat dry and chapped as she licked her lips and focused her eyes on her surroundings. She looked over to her right and saw a bank of monitors and a nurse writing something down. She looked over to her left and saw the Seneschal smiling back at her in the corner. The she saw her son Antony asleep in a corner chair next to her bed.
"Antony." She called out scratchily. Antony awoke to her voice, smiled when he saw her looking at him, stood up, and went over and rubbed her forehead gently as he kissed her on the cheek.
Antony's movements prompted the nurse to turn around and notice the Regnant was awake and went to her.
"Mummy." Antony said gently while caressing her head.
"Your Majesty, I am Nurse Jobina. How are you feeling?"
"I feel as if fifteen drums are banging in my head." The Regnant said. Antony chuckled.
"Where am I?" The Regnant asked.
"At the JFM." Jobina said.
"At the JFM?" The Regnant asked surprised.
"Your condition was too grave for you to be moved to the Presidium, Your Majesty." Jobina replied.
"How long have I been out?" The Regnant asked.
"Nearly a day and half." Antony replied.
"A day and half?" The Regnant repeated again surprised then a concerned look washed over her face. "Your Mother…"
"Is here." Antony finished. "And so is Elena and Emilia."
"Where is your Mother?" Ari asked. Antony hesitated.
"Antony!" Ari demanded.
"We found out that it was the Monoliths that was involved in the attack against your person. In fact, it was Jorakor himself. He had agents emplaced here on this plane to follow you along on your tour, and then strike when the opportunity presented itself." Antony replied.
"Jorakor." The Regnant said to herself as she narrowed her eyebrows then asked, "To what end?"
"We are still not entirely clear. The Monoliths keep reciting babble about being stifled under your rule, but I don't buy that insipid excuse. For them to make an attempt on your life? No, there is something more."
"I agree." The Regnant said.
"Mummy, you should also be aware this Engelram had The Athenaeum."
"What?" Ari replied incredulous.
"They planned to use it as an enticement to meet with them in the expectation of capturing and eventually killing you once they were done with whatever they needed you for." Antony said.
"And I would have went to that meeting if it meant recovering The Athenaeum." The Regnant shook her head. "It has been here, on this plane, the entire time."
"Yes, Mummy." Antony replied. The Regnant began to cough hard. Hard enough for Antony to hold her as he looked to Nurse Jobina.
"She is fine, Your Serene Highness. She is just working all the gunk that is in her chest." Nurse Jobina assured. The Regnant finally stopped coughing.
"Are you alright, Your Majesty?" Nurse Jobina asked. The Regnant nodded.
"Your Serene Highness, we should let Her Majesty rest." Nurse Jobina advised.
"I understand. Nurse, I need to advise Mummy of one more piece of information, but I need you to step out of the room." Antony said.
"Of course." Nurse Jobina said as she took a quick look at The Regnant and then left the room. Once the door closed Antony turned back to The Regnant.
"Jorakor had help from the Presidium." Antony said.
"Where? Who?" Ari asked.
"Primus Cocher." Antony replied.
"Jann? I should be surprised, but I am not. I knows he has strong views, but to the extent he would commit treason." Ari said.
"Agent Chennai had keenly observed someone hanging in the back of the room during your meeting with the Elder Fae Council. He struck her as suspicious and followed him. She was able to…observe his communications and heard it first-hand." Antony answered.
"It was wise of Regent Saladin to send Nadu with us." Ari commented. Antony nodded.
"You haven't answered my question. Where is Helen?" Ari asked. Antony hesitated again.
"Antony." Ari asked again.
"Mother left for the Presidium late yesterday with Elena, Dakari, Julian, and Jock to make preparations for dealing with the Monoliths." Antony replied.
"Deal with them? How?" The Regnant asked.
"The Presidium is up in arms over this attack on your personage. It is not helped by the fact that our families are baying both in Mother's and Regent Saladin's ears for blood. They want it dealt with." Antony explained.
"How?" Ari asked.
"Extermination of the Monoliths." Antony replied. At that The Regnant started to toss from side to side to try and wrestle herself off the bed which caused the machines attached to her to go off. Dr. Prescotti, Nurse Jobina and the on-duty medical staff all ran in.
"Mummy? Nurse Jobina informed me you were awake? What's happening?" Dr. Prescotti said as she looked down at her Mummy.
"She's agitated from some recent news." Antony replied as he looked at Emilia. "Help me hold Mummy down." Antony said to Emilia.
"Should I get more help?" Nurse Jobina asked.
"We can handle it. Just monitor her vitals." Dr. Prescotti replied.
"Yes, Doctor." The staff nurse replied and moved towards the monitors. Just then Dr. Lewis came into the room.
"What is it?" Dr. Lewis asked the staff.
"Mummy, please remain calm." Emilia said as she tried to rub her Mummy's head while they held her down.
"You need to stop your Mother!" Antony said as Ari continued to toss. Antony's arm then started to shape-shift which alarmed Dr. Lewis and the staff.
"Do not worry. My brother can control the size of his shape-shift. He is just using his strength to hold Mummy down." Dr. Prescotti said to allay Dr. Lewis's fears.
"He needs his Fae strength to hold her down?" Dr. Lewis observed. Neither Antony nor Emilia responded.
"Please, Mummy. Calm yourself." Emilia spoke softly in The Regnant's ear as she rubbed the side of her face. Ari looked into her daughter's very concerned eyes and proceeded to calm down.
"Antony, Emilia, I need to stop your Mother." The Regnant said.
"Mummy you are in no condition to move." Dr. Prescotti replied. The Regnant looked around the room and saw Dr. Lewis.
"Where is Bo?" The Regnant asked.
"Here somewhere." Dr. Lewis replied.
"Find her." The Regnant said. Dr. Lewis looked briefly at Antony and Emilia and then left the room.
Ten minutes later Dr. Lewis entered the room with Bo in tow.
"Bo, come here." The Regnant said when she saw Bo. Bo went up to the bed, glancing at Antony and Emilia as she went.
"I need you to do something for me." The Regnant said.
"Anything." Bo replied.
"Stop my wife." The Regnant said.
"Your Majesty, I just saw your wife execute a man without so much as raising her pulse. She is determined to punish those who tried to kill you. She is not going to listen to me." Bo replied.
"This is why I am giving you a little something to ensure she does." The Regnant replied.
"What is that?" Bo asked. The Regnant then reached up, and placed her palm to the center of Bo's chest, and it pulsated a strong blue.
"Bo!" Lauren cried out as she quickly ran over to Bo, but Antony came up behind Bo faster catching her as she fell back from the effect.
When Ari broke her connection, she fell back unconscious onto her bed. Dr. Prescotti rushed over and checked The Regnant's vitals then nodded at everyone in the room.
"She is still good." Dr. Prescotti reported.
"What's happening? What did the Regnant do to her?" Dr. Lewis asked extremely concerned.
"She will be fine Dr. Lewis." Antony informed.
"Bo! Are you okay?" Lauren asked frantically.
Bo's eyes opened and her baby blues were not only on but encompassed the entire orb of her eye. Even more the orbs of her eyes had a flaming luminous effect to them. Lauren was stunned as she stared at Bo.
"Bo is fine, Dr. Lewis. I just transferred enough of myself into Bo to carry me." Ari's voice answered. Dr. Lewis took a step back, eyes wide.
"What else can you do?" Dr. Lewis asked incredulous. "I have never seen a Fae like you before in my life!"
'Bo' smiled. "I hope that is a compliment." Then Ari/Bo turned to the Seneschal.
"Where is The Queen Consort at this moment?" Ari/Bo asked.
The Seneschal seemed to think for a moment then said, "She left the Presidium and is enroute to the plane of the Monoliths, Your Majesty." Ari/Bo then turned to Antony and Emilia.
"I need some protection." Ari/Bo said.
"Both Clio and Ryan are still here." Antony replied.
"Good." Then Ari/Bo turned to Dr. Lewis. "I can do many things Doctor, but even I need help to survive a volcanic plane as tempestuous as the Monoliths." Then she looked at her body lying in the bed then looked up at her daughter.
"Keep an eye on me." Ari/Bo said to Emilia.
"Yes, Mummy." Emilia said as a few tears escaped her eyes. Ari/Bo then turned to Antony.
"Let's go!"
Ari/Bo, Antony, Dr. Lewis and Bas Gunther entered the JFM Main Conference room that had been co-opted into a mini operations center. Everyone looked at Ari/Bo and saw her eyes. Trick and Evony knew what had happened based on Ari/Bo's eyes and went to one knee, and bowed. Everyone else followed suit not sure why the different courtesy offered. While Trick and Bo recognized the change in Bo, Kenzi, however, had no idea what was going on, and when Ari/Bo acknowledged their courtesies went up to Bo.
"Dude, are you okay? Your eyes." Kenzi asked.
"She is fine." Ari/Bo said as Ari's voice came out. Kenzi stepped back for a moment.
"You can occupy bodies too, Your Majesty?" Kenzi asked honestly fascinated that she was seeing Bo but hearing Ari.
"Yes." Ari/Bo answered. Kenzi looked to Lauren.
"It's The Regnant." Lauren answered.
"How, may I ask, Your Majesty?" Kenzi asked.
"It is an…inherited ability." Ari/Bo replied.
"Is Bo okay in there?" Kenzi asked.
"Yes, she is, but I need to get back so she can have her body back." Ari/Bo replied then turned to Clio and Ryan.
"I need to get to Helen but need some protection." Ari/Bo said.
"I can get you there, You Majesty." Clio replied.
"I will be right there with you, Your Majesty" Ryan said.
"So am I!" Kenzi chimed in. Ari/Bo looked at Kenzi.
"You are a glutton for punishment, aren't you?" Ari/Bo said.
"Where Bo's body goes, I go, Your Majesty." Kenzi replied.
"Spoken like a true friend." Ari/Bo said as she glanced at Bas Gunther, and waved Ryan over to the side balcony door. Bas Gunther came up to both Clio and Kenzi and motioned them to the balcony.
"Your Majesty?" Lauren queried when they stepped outside.
"I will bring her back safe." Ari/Bo answered.
"Thank you, Your Majesty." Lauren replied. Then the Regnant cocked her head for a moment.
"Dude, huh?" The Regnant said to Kenzi.
"An affectation, Your Majesty." Kenzi said with a slight blush. The Regnant see-sawed her head. Then she came behind Ryan and wrapped her arms around Ryan.
"Ready."
"I am never going to let Bo live this down when this is all said and done." Ryan responded. Then Ari/Bo looked to Clio.
"Lead the way."
"Yes, Your Majesty." Clio said as she turned and looked up at Bas Gunther, and pointed in a direction. "That way!" Bas Gunther came up behind both Kenzi and Clio, put one arm around each of them and shot off into the air, with Bo and Ryan right behind them.
"The Fae never cease to amaze me." Dr. Lewis said to no one in particular as she turned and headed back to The Regnant's room.
"Should we be concerned?" Elhnor asked when they received word from Olan's primary contact to expect The Queen Consort's arrival.
"Why?" Jorakor replied.
"It's The Queen Consort." Elhnor replied.
"And?"
"Your Excellency, she is considered to be just shy of a Phoenix." Elhnor replied.
"The Queen Consort is indeed, immensely powerful. But I am more concerned we haven't heard from Olan in a while and I fear the worst." Jorakor said as he shook his head. "It was stupid of him to try and look for The Athenaeum in the wake of the attack. He reasoned everyone would be too focused on the immediacy of the matter. I understand his determination, it would have been an added bonus for us to possess both the relic and The Athenaeum. It would have provided us with access to powers that would have otherwise never been available to us." Jorakor said then looked at Elhnor. "Go find Olan, and secure the relic."
"Yes, Your Excellency." Elhnor offered a bow of his head and then left. Another Monolith came came up rather quickly.
"Your Excellency?" He said with alarm in his voice.
"Yes?" Jorakor asked but his response approached.
Jorakor looked out in the distance and the first thing he saw was a 100-foot wildebeest-like creature walking towards him. It had a humanistic face but curved horns coming out of its head. The upper body was a broad, muscular, and its body was hairier as one's eyes traveled down to the hooves that were his feet. Alongside the walking Wildebeest was a man whose entire body was aflame. Jorakor recognized this as Dakari. He was followed by a woman whose eyes were reddish-orange, and then by a man who walked simply with his hands behind his back. There were led by a regal woman who he immediately recognized as The Queen Consort.
"Hello Jorakor." said The Queen Consort when she came up to him. "I trust you know my children. This is Julian," The Queen Consort said as she gestured to the 100-foot wildebeest, "and this is Dakari whom you have met. My daughter Elena, and my son Jock."
"Your Majesty." Jorakor replied as he offered a slight bow of his head.
"It is my understanding the Monoliths have some unfinished business with the Presidium." The Queen Consort queried.
"Long-standing, Your Majesty." Jorakor replied.
"I have just one question Jorakor." The Queen Consort said.
"And that is?" Joarakor asked.
"Why?" The Queen Consort asked.
"Simple, our capitulance was never genuine. It was all intended play along until we could have our revenge." Jorakor replied.
"I still do not understand the why. The Monoliths never suffered under Ari's rule." The Queen Consort said.
"But we never had the chance to prosper as well. Just enough to get by." Jorakor replied.
"The price for your opposition to Regnant Einiah in the war." The Queen Consort replied.
"And here we stand, Your Majesty." Jorakor said.
"And here we stand." The Queen Consort said as her entire body was fully aflame like's Dakari's.
"Jorakor, you and the Monoliths stand accused of conspiracy, attempted murder and treason against The Regnant and the Fae Realm. You are guilty as charged. In the name of the Presidium I am here to pass its judgment."
"So, what? My punishment is imprisonment?" Jorakor probed. The Queen Consort smiled.
"Extermination." Jock replied. Jorakor glanced at Jock.
"Executing me will not stop what is coming." Jorakor replied a bit nervously.
"You misunderstand. The extermination is not just of you but your entire plane." said the 100-foot wildebeest that was Julian.
"That cannot be done without the full sanction of the Parliament of Fae! We are part of the Parliament! We gave no such sanction!" Jorakor replied.
"And you misunderstand the law. Any attack upon Her Majesty's person allows for unilateral action." Elena replied.
"Still runs counter to the intent of Regnant Einiah!" Jorakor's argued.
"You mistake Regnant Einiah's benevolency for ours." The Queen Consort replied. "We have done our due diligence in honoring Regnant Einiah's intent. It was you who broke the trust in his intent. It was not us who have condemned the Monoliths but you." The Queen Consort said as Monoliths started to feel the atmosphere heat up, the ground begin to shake, and the rivers of lava started to boil.
"Helen wait!" Jorakor pleaded.
"Your broke the Realm's heart, Jorakor, and you broke mine the minute you decided to kill Ari. For that, I shall tear this plane asunder!" As the plane started to quake and break up before them.
Out of the mist behind The Queen Consort walked Bo.
"My darling, you must stop." Ari/Bo said from behind Helen, who whirled around at Ari's voice, but saw Bo.
"Ari?" Helen said, but then recognized the emblazoned blue eyes.
"It is me, my love." Ari/Bo replied.
Helen walked towards Ari/Bo and as she had done so the quaking and the boiling of the lava rivers stopped. She also shifted briefly revealing her nudity before she formed clothes around herself again.
"Wow. I don't think we were supposed to see that." Kenzi said.
"I want to still look that beautiful after 1400 years of marriage and ten children." Clio said. Kenzi nodded her head.
Ari/Bo and Helen and fell into a kiss.
"Glad Lauren is not here to see that." Kenzi said. Clio nodded. That is when they finally noticed Julian in all of the in all of the smoke and mist. Kenzi and Clio stepped several feet back and into Bas Gunther.
"Holy crap! Are you kidding me?!" Kenzi nearly shrieked. Julian looked down at them.
"Fear not." Julian replied which only made Kenzi and Clio move to stand behind Bas Gunther and Ryan.
"I thought you guys could not speak when you were, were, like this?" Kenzi asked as she gestured at Julian's Fae form.
"I am the only one." Julian replied. Julian then shifted back to normal form, which also entailed brief nudity before he formed a simple one piece suit over him. Then Dakari did the same.
"You know, this trip may not have been so bad." Clio said. Kenzi nodded.
Ari/Bo and Helen then broke their kiss.
"Are you okay?" Helen asked her wife.
"Yes, my love." Then Ari/Bo glanced around. "I see you here to pass the judgment of the Presidium." Ari/Bo answered.
"They need to pay for what they did." Helen said.
"They will." Ari/Bo replied.
"They hurt you."
"I am fine now."
"You are my world." Helen said.
"As you are mine."
"What would I ever do without you?"
"I hope you never know." Ari/Bo replied.
"I love you."
"And I you." Ari/Bo replied then looked past Helen at Jorakor then stepped forward towards the remaining Monoliths. Helen went and stood next to Ari on her right.
"Jorakor. Your treason grieves me deeply." Ari/Bo said.
"Your Majesty?" Jorakor asked not sure whom he addressed.
"Even though I am in the form of The Princess Royal you are addressing the Sovereign." Ari/Bo replied. "The Monoliths must answer for the attack on my person, and the treason you committed against the Realm. Both The Queen Consort and the Presidium are correct in their judgment that the Monoliths should be exterminated for your treasonous actions. Instead, I wish to take a different approach." Then Ari/Bo looked briefly at Helen. "As Sovereign of the Fae Realm I hereby banish the Monolith plane from all contact."
"Your Majesty! Extermination is one thing, it still preserves our plane. But if you banish us we will die utterly, both as a species as well as our plane. Never to be seen again by anyone or anything. We will fall into myth. We will never be known again. I beg you to preserve our plane!" Jorakor protested.
"Thus is the will of the Presidium." Ari/Bo replied.
"What does that mean?" Kenzi asked Dakari.
"Their death will be a slow one rather than a quick one." Dakari responded.
"I am still not understanding." Kenzi said.
"They will be choked off. This plane will be enclosed by a shield and will fall upon itself into an abyss. Never to been seen from again." Julian replied. Kenzi said nothing as she took in the full weight and understanding of The Regnant's decision.
Ari/Bo and Helen turned around and rejoined their children, Bas Gunther, Ryan, Clio and Kenzi who were all huddled together.
"Any final words for your species?" Ari/Bo asked.
"Your Majesty, I BEG YOU!" Jorakor implored.
"Thus are your final words." Ari/Bo turned to Helen. "My love?"
"As you command, my Sovereign." And in a blink they all disappeared from the Monolithic plane.
They all reappeared at the JFM and walked into the JFM Conference room. Trick and Evony came up to them and extended their courtesies.
"Is everything alright?" Trick asked when their courtesies were acknowledged.
"It is done. I need to speak with the Regency Council. And quickly. I cannot remain too long in Bo's body. " Ari/Bo replied.
A call was set up with the Regency Council soon afterwards. The Council was comprised of the Rana's of the Tetrarch, Taoiseach Sandalli, Grand Primus Cheles, and Illia, the Archaryani of the Monadori Sanctuary. The Regnant's children, Ariella, Aita, Rimma, and Maxima who had to remain at the Presidium were present. Also present on the Presidium side of the call were Masilo, Bearnard, Ariella, Chione and Lillian. Yammy, and now Nehanda and Eshe, were also on the call but joined in from the Prescotti Homelands.
Regent Saladin tilted his head slightly, "Your Majesty?"
"Hello, old friend." Ari/Bo replied as The Queen Consort sat to her left and Dr. Lewis to her right. Antony, Dakari, Jock, and Julian, Elena and Emilia stood behind Bo's chair while Kenzi, Clio, Ryan, Julia, and Dr. Danna and Padameshi were standing off to the side. Along with Dyson, Tamsin, and Reed who rejoined the group.
"Your Majesty! Our devotions have been answered!" Regent Saladin said.
"Mummy!" Atia called out. Ari/Bo smiled.
"Yes, my lovely one, but I do not have much time." The Regnant replied. "The Monoliths have been dealt with."
"And your decree, Your Majesty?" Regent Saladin asked.
"Banishment. Disconcerting that it was them that conspired against the Realm." Ari/Bo answered. Everyone nodded.
"I will see to the inquiries personally Your Majesty." Grand Primus Cheles said.
"Good. I am also concerned about their political supporters inside Parliament, and within the Grand Ducals." Ari/Bo said.
"Once it becomes known of their guilt their political support will fall away like flies." Rimma said.
"I agree. And the Tetrarch will see to the Grand Ducals." Rana Atherstone said.
"I will see to the Parliament, and to any outstanding agreements the Monoliths may have had before the Delegations start fighting over them like vultures." said Taoiseach Sandalli.
"Ari?" This came from Eshe. Everyone looked at Eshe.
"Yes, Eshe?" Ari/Bo answered her older sister.
"How do you feel?" Eshe asked.
"Inside Bo? Pretty damn good." Ari/Bo answered. That made quite a few people chuckle.
"Ari?" Eshe pressed.
"I am fine, Eshe, and when I am back on my feet we shall talk some more." Ari/Bo replied.
"Understood, Your Majesty." Eshe said yet still looked concerned. Ari/Bo tuned attention to her daughter Ariella.
"Junior. How is my Warrior?" Ari/Bo asked.
"Mummy." Ariella replied near teary-eyed.
"I will need to you take care of a couple items for me. Regent Saladin will discuss that with at the end of this call." Ari/Bo replied.
"Yes, Mummy. Please know the Presidium anxiously awaits your return." Ariella replied.
"Rimma, Maxima?" Ari/Bo queried.
"Yes, Mummy?" Rimma and Maxima answered together also near teary-eyed.
"Keep a running tally on who cries loudest about the banishment." The Regnant said.
"Why? Would that reveal who was in league with the Monoliths?" Dr. Padameshi asked then realized he should not have spoken at all judging from the near murderous look from Antony.
"Actually, the opposite. The ones that cry least are the ones to watch." Tamsin answered. The Regnant smiled at Tamsin incisiveness, and so did Elena.
"Everyone, I need to speak with Regent Saladin alone." Everyone on the Regent's side of the call all departed from Regent Saladin's office, and Yammy dropped off the call from the Prescotti Homelands. Instinctively, both Dr. Lewis and The Queen leaned over closer to Ari/Bo.
"Bo…I mean, Your Majesty?" Dr. Lewis probed.
"It won't be for very much longer, Doctor." Ari/Bo replied.
"I am just concerned in general, Your Majesty." Dr. Lewis replied.
"I am fine, sweetie." Ari/Bo as she leaned over and gave a Dr. Lewis a peck on the lips. That surprised everyone.
"Forgive me, Dr. Lewis. I think that was Bo talking." Ari/Bo said. Dr. Lewis blushed.
"My love, we will be outside." The Queen Consort said. Ari/Bo leaned over and kissed The Queen Consort briefly which had several people shaking their heads.
"Ping pong." Kenzi quietly commented as they all exited the room. Once the room emptied Ari/Bo turned to Regent Saladin.
"I would have allowed Helen to destroy them had I not known this attack on my person may have emanated from the Presidium."
"Agreed." Regent Saladin replied.
"I want to see how many vipers this banishment shakes out. I don't want you to just monitor the usual suspects, but staff as well." The Regnant said.
"I will apprise Agent Prime De Lucia." Regent Saladin said then asked, "So, how do you feel? Truly?"
"I am fine, but furious. I thought all this was behind us for good." Ari/Bo replied.
"We just need to resolve this immediate situation, find that relic so all that it represents can remain behind for good." Regent Saladin said.
"Agreed. For right now I would like to keep my true suspicions between you and me. Once things reveal themselves then this will become a matter for the Order." Ari/Bo replied.
"You are wrong there, Your Majesty. It will be a matter of the entire Realm who will stand by your side." Regent Saladin said. Ari/Bo smiled.
"I stand corrected, my faithful friend." Ari/Bo replied.
"Always by your side in your service." Regent Saladin said.
"Thank you, my friend." Ari/Bo replied.
"Has your tour yielded any information beyond what Agent Chennai briefed you on at the Clubhouse?" Regent Saladin asked.
"Always on top of it." Ari/Bo replied.
"It is my duty to protect the Realm in your service."
"This matter of Primus Cocher." Ari/Bo said.
"Yes, Your Majesty?"
"I want you to see to it personally. See what it yields." Ari/Bo directed.
"Yes, Your Majesty?" Regent Saladin replied
"I need to get back to my body. Speak with you soon."
"Yes, Your Majesty. Take care." Regent Saladin replied. And the call ended. Ari/Bo stepped out into hallway where everyone waited and looked to Dr. Lewis.
"It's time." Ari/Bo said.
"This way, You Majesty." As she motioned Ari/Bo down the hall.
When Ari/Bo entered room where The Regnant's body lay they were greeted by Dr. Prescotti and Antony. Ari/Bo placed her hand on the chest, and Ari's essence flowed from Bo's body back into her own body.
The Regnant then coughed awake as Bo staggered backwards after being released, caught by both Antony and Lauren. Helen went up to Ari, and gently grabbed her face.
"Ari! Can you see me?" Ari took a moment to focus on her wife then nodded yes, and then fell back by all appearances unconscious. Helen looked at both Emilia and Lauren.
"I thought she was out of the woods with the poison?" The Queen Consort challenged.
"Not sure why Mummy is coming in and out of consciousness…" Emilia said, but she was then interrupted…by snoring…from Ari.
Everyone looked at Ari surprised as she snored. Helen then let out a smile.
"She is okay." Helen said.
