The next day The Regnant opened her eyes again and looked around the room as she groggily moved her head back and forth. She looked over to her left and saw the Seneschal smiling back her in the corner before they got up and left the room. The Regnant's gaze followed them out and then fell upon Observation window where she saw her wife, their children, and Bo and Dr. Lewis all sitting and talking. They entered the room a few moments later. The Queen Consort had tears in her eyes as she went up to the Regnant, rubbed her head and kissed her gently on it.

"Hello, my love." The Queen Consort said.

"My love. I hope I haven't worried you too much." The Regnant replied.

"Just a little." Helen said as she kissed her wife's forehead again.

"How do you feel, Mummy?" Elena asked.

"My head feels very groggy, very heavy."

"We got your message about Dakari. We had to inject you with a great deal of antitvenom." Helen said.

"That must be what I am feeling." Ari said as her eyes started to drop again.

"How long have I been asleep?" Ari asked Helen.

"Almost 15 hours." Helen answered.

"Fifteen hours?" Ari said surprised.

"I would consider 15 hours of sleep paradise." Bo said. Everyone smiled.

"Ari doesn't usually sleep like that unless she goes into a deep sleep." The Queen Consort explained to the rest of the group.

"Deep sleep, Your Majesty?" Dr. Lewis probed.

"Sometimes, Ari needs to take an extended sleep." The Queen Consort replied.

"Is that a regularized habit?" Dr. Padameshi asked.

"Should be, but hasn't been for a long while." The Queen Consort replied.

"How long are the deep sleeps?" Dr. Lewis asked.

'The longest one she ever had was six months." The Queen Consort replied.

"Six months?" Dr. Lewis said her curiosity peaked.

"I think I was pretty tired that one time." Ari said scratchily.

"Ari doesn't know when to stop herself, but on average Ari's deep sleeps usually last about 3 weeks." The Queen Consort said.

"Are your deep sleeps controllable, Your Majesty?" Dr. Padameshi asked.

"Yes and no. She can delay them, but if she puts them off for too long she can fall into an extended sleep. Luckily, that has happened only once, and that was the time she was asleep for six months." The Queen Consort said.

"It makes sense with the various powers you carry it makes sense you would have to recharge." Dr. Padameshi said.

"Perhaps." Dr. Lewis commented, still curious. "This means we need to look out for extended sleep cycles. I will have the staff keep an eye out if her sleep cycles are longer than 15 hours."

"How long will it be before she can be healed by her abilities?" The Queen Consort asked.

"That may be a few days yet. Her Majesty's system is still fighting off the poison." Dr. Lewis responded. The Regnant looked at Bo.

"There are not many people who can say on any plane of existence they kissed my wife." The Regnant said.

"Only out of duty, Your Majesty." Bo replied with a smile. The Regnant chuckled lightly then coughed.

"My love, I think I need to sleep again." Ari said to Helen.

"The children all want to give you their love." Helen replied then nodded to their children. Antony, Elena, Dakari, Emilia, Jock, and Julian all came up in turn, and planted quick kisses on Ari's forehead. Observing this made Lauren put one of her arms around Bo. After they all took their turns Helen looked at her wife.

"I am going to let you rest, but I need to give you these as well." Then as she planted each kiss she said, "This one is from Atia. This is from Rimma. This one is from Maxima, and this one is from Junior." Ari nodded and then closed her eyes and fell back asleep.

The Regnant awoke again the next day, and then spent the next week steadily working to recover her strength. The Queen Consort wanted to move her back to the Presidium, but The Regnant said no, and that she wanted to remain at the JFM until she was on her feet again. As far as The Regnant was concerned once she was back on her feet she was back to her normal tour schedule.

"Typical Ari." The Queen Consort said frustrated. "As if a beat hadn't been missed."

However, the chaos surrounding The Regnant's stay at the JFM was taking its toll on the facilities and the routine care of other patients. Bo mentioned something to Julian who quickly jumped into action. He asked Dr. Lewis what her requirements were in treating the medical needs of the Regnant and then took it from there. The Brynai Society of Engineers arrived the next day, and at its head was Engineer Prime Bristolis himself, who personally oversaw the construction of the three-story wing addition which was completed in two days from the moment the Brynai Society had arrived. Dr. Lewis and her staff were in sheer awe and even took turns watching the construction of the new wing. It was clear the Presidium was way more advanced than Dr. Lewis or anyone else had imagined.

Bo worked with Engineer Bristolis, Dr. Hollis Gardholt, Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the JFM and Julian to ensure its completion. She was impressed with how Julian managed all the logistics. Whatever the JFM needed was had. Bo was even more impressed at how she and Julian worked so well together. It was like they understood one another perfectly. It was the first time since being introduced to all that was of the Presidium that Bo felt at ease about her future there. Deep down, Bo knew she and Julian were going to enjoy a long-standing working relationship together. Once completed, The Regnant moved over to the new wing christened the Prescotti Wing, and the JFM operations returned to normal.

The Queen Consort personally saw to every detail surrounding The Regnant's comfort in the new wing, and on some occasions, much to Dr. Lewis and Dr. Danna's enjoyment.

"I don't even know why they have Guards. Anyone that comes near The Regnant could be killed a hundred different ways by her wife and children alone." Dr. Danna would say every once in a while whenever they saw the Guards posted at the door of The Regnant's room. Dr. Lewis would always laugh.

The Queen Consort had forbidden The Regnant from receiving any updates on Presidium matters so she could focus on her recovery. One afternoon while Dr. Lewis and Dr. Prescotti were checking the vitals of The Regnant they were the recipients of The Regnant's complaints of boredom.

"Helen will not allow me to read or do anything. I have no idea what is going on." The Regnant said.

"Mother wants you free from worry and well rested." Emilia replied.

"Is there something I need to be worried about?" Ari asked her daughter.

"No. But even if there were something, Mother would kill me for telling you." Emilia replied.

"See Dr. Lewis, conspiracies everywhere." The Regnant said. Dr. Lewis smiled.

The Regnant saw a glass of water next to her bed, reached over and took a sip and made a face. She looked to Emilia.

"The water here leaves much to be desired! What do they purify it over? Rocks?" The Regnant grimaced. Emilia looked to Dr. Lewis who answered.

"It is top of the line bottled water." Dr. Lewis answered.

"It tastes like it came out of the bathroom." The Regnant looked to Emilia. "We need to improve this plane's water supply considerably."

"Yes, Mummy." Emilia replied. The Regnant let out an exasperated sigh.

"Well, I am going out of my mind here. Isn't there something I can stare at besides the ceiling and walls?" The Regnant asked.

"Well, what about television? We could bring a TV in here. In fact, I'm surprised one is not in here already." Dr. Lewis said as she looked around for confirmation.

"What?" The Regnant asked.

"Television, Your Majesty." Dr. Lewis replied. The Regnant looked at her quizzically. Dr. Lewis looked at Dr. Prescotti who had an equally quizzical look.

"Your Majesty, the Presidium doesn't have television?" Dr. Lewis asked.

"We have broadcast programs, but they only broadcast matters that are beneficial and directly relevant to the betterment of society." The Regnant answered.

"Really? Wow! We need that standard here." Dr. Lewis said. The Regnant chuckled. Then Dr. Lewis got an idea.

"Your Majesty, allow me to take this opportunity to introduce you to a TV show that precisely meets your viewing tenants." Dr. Lewis said as she went and sat down next to The Regnant's bed.

"Oh, what TV show is that?" The Regnant asked.

"One of my all-time favorites. It is called Star Trek!" Dr. Lewis replied.

Later in the day Helen came in Ari's room and saw Ari and Emilia watching television.

"What is all this?" Helen asked.

"Television." The Regnant replied.

"What?"

"Television. Some TV show called 'Star Trek.' It is Dr. Lewis's favorite." Ari said.

"You are watching television?" Helen asked again.

"Yes." Ari replied.

"My love, I want you to rest." Helen said.

"Love, I cannot rest if I am staring at the four walls all day." Ari said in frustration.

Helen looked to Emilia who only raised her eyebrows in response.
