I was a normal woodsman. A sort of lumberjack if you will. I lived on the outskirts of a small village that was beginning to grow rapidly. I had a beautiful wife that I cared for very much. Her name was Mieko. She had the most stunning emerald green eyes and the purest white hair I had ever seen. She was everything I had ever wanted in a woman. She truly completed me. We lived our life, I found out later this was shortly before the woman known as Kaguya came to earth. I was out working on laying the foundation for a new house, and after the work for the day had been finished. I began making my way home to our little house that lay a short distance outside of the town.

On the way home I could just tell something was off. The sun had set and I stopped dead in my tracks as the realization hit me. There was a blood moon shining brightly in the sky. Once again. A feeling of dread washed over me. I broke out into a full sprint, pushing myself as hard as I could. I had to get home. I had to make sure my wife was okay. I arrived at the clearing that led to the front of my house and looked on in horror. Bloodstains, leading up the entryway.. Various holes in walls and the front door had been completely blown off its hinges. "No no NO!" I screamed. I feared for the worst. I arrived at the front door and peered inside, A gruesome scene met my eyes. Dead carcasses and innards sprawled out across the floor. Blades and spears stapling certain things to the walls. As I began moving through the rooms, I noticed these bodies were becoming less and less ... human, The deeper I went into my own home. The more grotesque and monstrous these dead bodies became. Who? No, what could have done this? Where is Mieko? I arrived in our bedroom and it became evident that this was where it all began. There was a massive red pentagram on the floor with candles lit at each of the points. The scene around the room still haunts me to this day, bodies, blood smeared on the walls, flesh and bodily organs were strewn about haphazardly. The first thing that caught my eye was a torso that had been "set up" with a note nailed to its chest. I lifted the body up and glanced it over. Some sort of creature, with red eyes and spikes jutting out of its shoulders and back. It was very peculiar indeed, but thankful it was no longer alive. I pulled the note from the disembodied torso and the corpse dropped to the ground with a thud. The note was addressed to me. That was so long ago that I hardly can remember the words. It stated that I should just move on, start a new life. There were coordinates to a large sum of money to fund me on my journey.

I squeezed my fingers together into a fist, mainly just checking my pulse to make sure there was still blood pumping through this physical body that I inhabited. I stared at the young man before me. Uchiha blood moving through his veins. The man Possessed a high visual prowess. However, He could only see a fraction of what I see. I am still wondering why I even stopped to speak with this boy. I must have a solid reason. I guess when I looked deep into him I could see it…

I could see the fires of the underworld…

I could see an endless ocean of hatred...

I could see … Myself…

"You see Sasuke there is one major issue with that note that I could tell just by looking it over…"

Mu and Gengetsu had been "defeated", though Mu had performed a split during one of the Slayers powerful attacks, The Green demon could sense it, though he figured he would hunt him down at a later time. He had already had his fun and was now wasting time. The former Kage Rasa had been detained by otherworldly chains. These chains were a dark purple and protruded from the ground. Gaara had moved over to hold a conversation with his father. Lastly the third Raikage took two devastating blows from the Hell Walker. These sent A to the ground, where he struggled to find the strength to make it to his feet. The reincarnated Kage coughed for a moment before finally speaking.

"You have defeated me yet again… I have one final thing to ask before you return my spirit to the underworld…"

The Slayer who had a hand raised and was moving in to claim the lost soul, stopped in front of the fallen warrior so he could hear his request.

"I find it strange you carry that blade with you, but you never seem to use it? Is it because none of us wield blades? I find it hard to believe someone like YOU would be that honorable."

There was a brief pause before the slayer smirked and responded.

"The blade is for when things get… serious… you pose no threat to me…"

A growled and cursed the Slayer "Even in death you mock me. When you return to the underworld. I, along with the others, will be waiting for you!"

"I will see you there" The slayer chuckled to himself as he reclaimed the soul of the third Raikage A.

The Hellwalker returned to Gaara and the others, reverting back to his usual zombielike state. The son of the Yellow Flash of the leaf had arrived and was taking in the Doom Slayer in his full glory. "This is him huh?" Naruto stated. The phrase coming off more so like a statement as opposed to asking a question.

The Slayer outstretched a hand to Gaara, while his gaze pierced into the very soul of Naruto.

Gaara handed over the Demon's face mask, and it was quickly placed back upon his face. The Slayer never broke eye contact with Naruto.

"I uh, never thought you were actually real. You were always just a story that was passed around to scare little children into behaving."

The Hellwalker laughed. Not a chuckle, full blown laughter was emitted from behind the green mask. The most human thing anyone had ever witnessed him do. His laughter quickly subsided however and he cocked his head to the side, still 'analyzing' Naruto. "I must move on…" This is all that the Slayer said before turning and leaving. Naruto was a bit frightened. He could see deep into the Hell Walker with his 9 tailed form… and what he saw… Terrified him.

"Now Nara!" Kakashi ordered, Ensui's clan technique finally capturing Zabuza in its clutches. With this they could dispel the mist, That would give the Third Division the upper hand in this battle. Maki quickly rushed in to apply the sealing jutsu.

As the jutsu was being applied, Kakashi looked around, There they were again. Those red eyes… Something had been gnawing at him since the mist had formed. There had been these weird shadows darting in and out of combat with the reanimated shinobi, and as previously stated, these glowing red eyes. Someone else was here, fighting the enemy shinobi. Well at least that's what Kakashi had hoped.

"Are you alright Kakashi?"

This brought the son of the White fang of the leaf back from his thoughts. This question was asked by his long time friend and rival 'Might Guy'

"We are sealing Zabuza so the battle should take a turn for the better."

Kakashi opened his mouse to say something, but as he did so the mist cleared and whatever it was, became caught in his throat.

There was a lone being… standing in the middle of the field between the reanimated shinobi, and the Third Division. He was adorned in green armor. As this lone warrior turned to face the third division, Kakashi and others saw the mark. There was a hushed gasp as the realization hit that this was in fact, the Kage Killer.

He turned robotically and raised a hand to point directly at Kakashi and Guy. "Your Fox brat needs your help…" After this, the warrior cracked his knuckles and turned his attention to the remaining members of the 7 swordsmen of the mist. Their positions now revealed since the mist had faded. Kakashi and Guy went off in search of Naruto while The Kage Killer remained and confronted these swordsmen.

"You are nothing more than children with fancy toys…" He said as he cocked his head to the side once again. "Let us dance"

"Zilean… I'm closing in on the Casters location. However, I sense that someone else has already beaten me to him"

"The casters' name is kabuto, and the other two shinobi are Brothers of the Uchiha clan. Sasuke is the younger one and Itachi, is the older reanimated shinobi. They may not be too fond of your presence…"

"I don't think the final member of the Uchiha clan will be an issue for me, regardless nobody has even given me a run for my money since the First Hokage. But I was foolish and ill-prepared back then."

"Do not kill him. He is vital to the timeline. If he is slain you could alter everything and undo our work here. Remember, Stop the caster and reclaim the souls. That's all we're here to do right now. My view of the future is still a bit clouded. I will keep you updated on your role as you progress"

I rolled my eyes and agreed to not harm the Uchiha boy. Killing people is a bad habit, and I yearn for the day I can actually fight someone who is a threat to me.

I entered into the cave where the caster dwelled. As I pressed forward I realized I was too late. The brothers were successful in stopping the jutsu caster.

I witnessed the reanimated shinobi, 'Itatchi' walking towards his brother. This was surely a touching moment. I would let it play out.

"Know this. No matter what I will love you always" With these final words. Itachi returned to the afterlife. I guess it's time to ruin this touching moment between brothers. The clanking sound from my armor resonated in the dank cave space as I moved out into view. Sasuke turned to face me, taking me in.

Kabuto appeared to be in some sort of trance. I couldn't quite put my finger on the exact Jutsu, but Zilean quickly cleared it up for me. Kabuto would no longer be causing any more issues with the dead. So I wouldn't have to stay here and 'deal' with him. I had just made my presence known for no reason.

"Who are you?" Sasuke was immediately overcome with a slight sense of anger. I could see it on his face. It was to be expected. I did just ruin a heartfelt moment.

"You have done what I came here to do." I stated. My vision focused in on this boy and I looked deep inside of him. He reminded me of someone…

"Who are you really? Why do you masquerade as a fairy tail demon… What are you planning to accomplish? Are you another assassin sent to take me down?"

I didn't respond. I was getting tired of everyone thinking I was some sort of fairy tale. That I wasn't real or didn't exist.

"Fine, I will make the first move! Amaterasu!"

I was engulfed in black flames. The 'flames of hell'. Haha. I took a deep breath in through my nose… Smells like home.

To Sasuke's astonishment. I quickly extinguished these hellfires. I patted away the last of the flames as I spoke "You know nothing of Demons. Nor of the Fires of hell…"

Sasuke took a step back, I could see the confusion painted on his face. "Just who exactly are you? You can't be the real Kage Killer…"

"I was a normal woodsman. A sort of lumberjack if you will."

...

"You see Sasuke there is one major issue with that note that I could tell just by looking it over… It wasn't Mieko's handwriting. This set me along a path of destruction. I can see inside you Sasuke. You have this same hatred that I held and let consume my life… I am not here to change your path. Just spread some words of wisdom. Think deeply about what you are doing and what your next move is."

I turned and left. Sasuke muttered a thanks as he watched me leave. There was a massive crumbling sound and I heard two sets of feet hit the floor. "Hey, who is that leaving?" one of these new shinobi asked. I didnt stop to confront them, they served no purpose to me.

"A myth…" Sasuke said.

"You always such cryptic things sasuke without explaining anything…"

I was informed by Zilean that from what he could see. My words had no effect on this young man's future. How could they? I was just some fairy tale demon that didn't exist.

I exited the cave and began marching through the forest. I was suddenly contacted by Zilean again.

"What do you mean there's still one more? Uchiha?" I shook my head "Fine Zilean. I will go fetch him myself"

I trained for over a year. I skipped the next blood moon to continue my preparations, but at last, the day finally came. I had found a journal kept by Mieko that held everything I needed to make a summoning and jump to the underworld. Just what was she trying to do? I lit the candles and began reciting the incantation. Everyone thought I was foolish and stupid. But if she was still out there. I would bring her back. I would fight.

Suddenly blue sparks appeared in the circle before I could finish and a portal opened up. Out stepped an elderly man with glowing blue eyes, blue hair, and a blue beard.

"What a foolish man. You are lucky I arrived when I did or you would have been slaughtered. My name is Zilean and I can help you on your quest if you want? But the choice is up to you! We must move fast! Follow me" With this, the elderly man receded back through the portal he had entered through. I didn't have a choice I stepped through this portal and gazed out upon a massive demon army."I am a timekeeper. I ensure the stability of time as we know it. You were about to disrupt that time, so I had to step in. Do you see that massive force down there? They would have swallowed earth and put an end to the human race. You are searching for your wife are you not?"

This was a massive amount of information to take in. "I am"

"I know where she is and I can help you find her, but you will have to come with me. As a human you cannot stay here very long, or you will be ripped to shreds by the fabric of time.. I can give you enough strength to begin your journey but you must see it through to the end. The road will be long and perilous but you will see your beloved again. If you decide not to, I will wipe your memory and you will return to your sad little life."

"You aren't really giving me much of an option here, but alright I am up for the task."

"Let us begin"

Suddenly the world shifted from this dark underworld to a brighter more relaxed area. I was in a high-tech area and there was a giant contraption before me.

"This is a special area in what you humans refer to as 'heaven'. This machine will grant you great power. But you will need to retrieve another artifact to spend any amount of time in the underworld which is where Mieko resides."

Zilean typed away on a smaller machine as the larger contraption before me shifted its form. It began resembling a bed of sorts, with glowing parts, and a lid.

"Alright get in" He instructed me. I climbed in and laid down. The lid slowly closed around me, It was quite a tight squeeze I almost thought I would be crushed.
"After this you must seek out the Heart of Hell " Zilean stated with a chuckle. "What a massive beast"

Before I could react. There was a flash of blinding light.

AN:
Sorry this took so long, I couldn't quite get the chapter the way I wanted it. Anyway, I am not sure how much further I am actually gonna go with this one. I have most of it planned out but Idk it's shaping up kinda weird. And this last section is kind of fucked up, so I may be editing it in the future.
