Disclaimer: I do not own either Bluey or Mulan, only how the story goes. Bluey belongs to Ludo Studio and Mulan belongs to Disney. The only thing that I do own are the OC's of the story. I do apologize for any errors in grammar and/or if I was not accurate in reference to something.
A/N: Like I said, don't expect this chapter to be too long or too short.

Both General Lee and Bob Heeler walk into the room.
General Lee: I know what's going to happen.
Bob: But it's going to be done a lot differently.

Chapter Eight: The Surprise Attack
A few miles from the Tung Shao Mountain Pass, a figure had climbed to the top of a tree. He sliced through the top of it with his sword. John Blitz surveyed the surrounding area before looking up to the mountain and placed his sword behind him. His ears twitched when he heard his falcon screech and looked in the direction that the falcon was coming from. The falcon flew over John Blitz and released something from his talons. John Blitz caught it in his paw and slowly opened it to reveal a doll of a little girl dog. John Blitz looked over the doll carefully and smelled something odd about it. Then his eyes widened when he got an idea. With a glare he started to climb back down.
At the bottom of the tree, his army of dogs were waiting for him to come back down. He didn't keep them waiting long when he dropped to the ground and stood back up on his feet. He tossed the doll to one of his men and said, "What do you see from this?"
One of the soldiers felt something on the doll and found something on it. Rubbing between his fingers he felt it and said, "Black pine, from the high mountains."
"White horse hair." Another dog said when he removed a strained of white hair from the doll's head. They all knew what it meant even when he said, "From Imperial Stallions."
"Hmm." The third dog said as he sniffed it. He recognized it and handed it back to John Blitz, "Sulfur, from cannons."
"This doll came from a village in the Tung Shao Pass…" John Blitz took the doll and said what they were all thinking, "Where the Imperial Army is no doubt waiting for us."
"We can avoid them quite easily." The archer of the group pointed out. While John Blitz did see where it made sense, but he also knew that it would take too long, "No." Looking to the mountain he said, "The quickest way to get to the Emperor is going through that pass.
"And besides, the little pup will be missing her doll." John Blitz said as he looked at the toy in his paw. Looking to his dogs with an evil grin he clenched the doll in his fist and suggested, "We should go and return it to her."
All the dogs in the Hun army grew evil grins on their muzzles. John Blitz walked back to his horse as did the rest of the Hun army.

Up in the village of the Tung Shao Pass, General Bob Heeler was going over a few defenses with his troops. But as he looked over a few cannons, he was thinking about his son back at the training camp. He knew that it wasn't easy for Bandit, but he had confidence that his son could train the next recruits for the army. His thoughts were interrupted when his second in command said, "Thinking of the incoming report again, eh, sir?"
"Yes. I am." Bob nodded to confirm. His second in command knew that he was worried and said, "You have nothing to worry about, sir. From what you've told me, that boy of yours will no doubt have turned at least half of the new recruits into a fighting force to be proud of. No matter what Ar Fe says."
"I suppose." General Bob agreed as they continued to look over their defenses. Looking to the villagers he did admit, "I just wish that the villagers had evacuated when we arrived."
"This is their home, sir." The second in command reminded him. With a grin he said, "They are willing to do anything to protect it."
"It will get dangerous if and when the Huns arrive." Bob said, knowing that it may not turn out well. But with confidence in his voice he declared, "But we will do our best to keep them from getting to the Emperor and destroying China."
"That we can do." The second in command nodded in agreement. The sound of a falcon's screech made both dogs look out from the village to see something coming towards the village. Bob placed his helmet on his head, "It's them. I can feel it." Looking to his second in command he ordered, "Get everyone ready. We fight with honor."
"Yes, sir." The second in command nodded his head and quickly turned to leave. General Bob then looked to another soldier and said, "Get a message ready to send to Captain Bandit! Quickly!"
"Yes, General." The dog said before rushing off to get his orders fulfilled. Bob looked back out in the distance and saw the Huns getting closer. With a determined look he said to himself, "Let's just hope that Bandit can get here in time."

Bob Heeler: Shame I didn't get any action scenes. I would have loved to wield a sword, even for a moment.
General Lee: I just wish that I had a few more words with my own son.
Bob Heeler: Yeah, it's hard to know if you'll see someone again during a war or not.
General Bob: But as long as we keep them close to our hearts…
Bob Heeler: Then they're never too far.

Author's Note: I think we all know how the battle went. Maybe in another Mulan story I'll actually put in some action scenes. But now I'll be taking a short break from Chilian to work on some other fanfictions that really need my attention. I look forward to reading your reviews. Be sure to leave a comment either about if I've done something wrong or if you want something specifically to happen. See you next time.
