Two Desperados escorted Aoife towards one of the nearby cars. Aoife quickly scanned the area to see clean-up crews had descended on Engelram's Warehouse. She recognized the ancient symbol of the Ruling Family emblazoned on crews' chests as they moved about. She also saw Police had cordoned off the area from curious eyes, but Aoife knew full well the Police were either Fae or claimed humans by the Fae. She also noticed there were more Security Guards dressed in dark garb and long duster coats who wore the same symbol as the clean-up crews.

"So can I at least know your names? You are, after all, escorting The Princess Mother."

"My name is Gauge and his is Zack, Your Grand Serene Highness." Gauge answered.

"Pleasure to meet you both." Aoife said as they opened the door to the backseat of the car and Aoife stepped in. They shut the door behind her and then Zack jumped into the driver's seat while Gauge took the front passenger seat. Zack then pulled the car out of the Warehouse parking lot and headed for the Ducal Compound.

As they drove along, Aoife kept a close eye on the route. She periodically turned around to see if they were being followed but saw nothing out of turn. She returned her attention to the front and watched Gauge and Zack while the drove. She noticed they didn't say one word during the thirty minutes they had spent in the car thus far. They turned onto a long, dark suburban road and then Aoife leaned forward.

"Hey, can we stop somewhere along the way? Grab something to drink? Fighting makes a girl thirsty." Aoife asked.

"Sorry, Your Grand Serene Highness. You'll have to wait until we deliver you safe and sound to the Ducal Compound." Gauge replied.

"As the Grand Serene Highness, my orders are to be obeyed, yes?" Aoife challenged.

"And they will be, once we safely deliver you to the Ducal Compound." Gauge replied.

"But I'm thirsty." Aoife said with a sultry pout and proceeded to reach out to both Gauge and Zack, but was stopped by Gauge.

"Sorry, Your Grand Serene Highness, but we know you are a very powerful Succubus. Please lean back." Zack replied.

"Okay, fine!" Aoife said as she sat back and watched the road for then deftly reached into her pockets and pulled out two syringes. "But can I tell you guys something?"

"Yes?" Gauge prompted.

"Next time, before you take some into custody, check to see if someone has a weapon first!" Aoife said as she stabbed them both simultaneously in the necks with the syringes.

Zack immediately released his grip on the wheel and Gauge tried to grab her hand but he wasn't fast enough to beat her pumping the contents of the syringe into his neck. The car veered out of control as both Zack and Gauge fell unconscious. The car ran off the road and straight into a ditch, rolled forward and hit a tree, the car lights flashing. Aoife took a few minutes to recover her bearings then stumbled out of the backseat of the car. She took a quick glance at Zack and Gauge and then reached into the car and shut off the flashings lights.

"Thank you, Doctor Lewis for being you." Aoife said out loud recalling how she pocketed the syringes out of Lauren's med kit while everyone else was distracted back at the Warehouse.

Aoife looked around to get her bearings, decided on a direction, and ran into the deep dark woods.

About twenty minutes later she emerged out of the tree line and saw a small café that was still open. She headed inside and took a seat near a window and looked out.

"Can I take your order?" The waiter came up a few minutes later. Aoife kept watch outside.

"Can I take your order?" The waiter asked again.

"Just water for now." Aoife replied. The waiter nodded, dropped a menu and then left.

Aoife returned her attention to the outside looking for any followers. Aoife knew she had to keep running until she could stabilize the situation she was in, but she knew she had to make one more stop before she did. The waiter returned with her water.

"Do you want to eat something?" The waiter asked. Aoife looked at him, stood up, smiled and caressed his chest. The flow of her Succubus influence glamoured him. He swayed.

"Yes, I'm starving! But not for food." Aoife said as she gently pulled him outside and into the back of the café.
