"It's time to get a move on, Clem."

"What are we doing? Where are we going, T?" Clementine asked as Terrell came to the tent to "wake her". She was now holding her daughters in her arms, while AJ sat beside her holding in his hand his disco broccoli toy.

"We're going to meet up with another group." Terrell said.

Clementine had overheard that much, but she didn't know how to feel. "How do we know if we can trust them?"

"We'll just have to find out, babe." Terrell said.

Clementine sighed at that. She really just hoped they didn't have to deal with any naughty people.

"Come on, let's get some breakfast. We got quite a walk ahead of us." Terrell said.

"Okay..." Clementine nodded.

"They have to be alive. I know they are. And I'm gonna find them." Luke said.

"Hold on, even if they are alive, do you have any clue of where they could be?" Vince asked.

"No… But I can find out." Luke said.

"Do you have any idea how hard that's gonna be?" Wyatt asked.

"I know it's gonna be tough., but I gotta find them…" Luke replied.

"What if we don't?" Russell asked. "What if we never find them?"

"There's no "what if". I will find them one way or another." Luke said.

"Trying and succeeding are two different things." Wyatt huffed.

"I know. But that's not going to stop me. Nothing's gonna stop me…" Luke said. "I need to find them."

"If they're alive." Russell muttered.

Luke shot him a look. "We didn't find their bodies. So they have to be alive."

"You don't know for sure, man..." Vince said.

"We're going to try anyway." Luke said.

"Do you even have the slightest idea where to start? You're gonna get us all killed." Wyatt said. "We can't just go on a wild goose hunt, man!"

"Wild goose hunt?! These are my daughters I'm trying to find! I need to find them!" Luke snapped.

Vince shakes his head in disbelief of the groups' words.

"I'll find them with or without you people." Luke says.

"Luke, be reasonable..." Bonnie says

"No, I'm telling you right now, if you guys aren't willing to help me out then I'm leaving. If we do this thing together, we can find those kids and make this trip worthwhile." Luke replied.

"We have kids with us already! We need to think about them too! We can't just wander around with no idea of where to go!" Vince argued.

"We'll figure things out when it comes to it. We always do." Luke said.

"That's the problem with you people. You never plan ahead. You always just want to figure things out when it happens." Vince said. "It's stupid!"

"Yeah, well I guess that makes me an idiot then." Luke scoffed. "But I'm doing things my way this time. I'm not following anyone else."

"We've been doing things your way for a long time, man! Things are always your way! When are you gonna grow up and stop being so stubborn?" Vince snapped.

"When are you all gonna get off my back?" Luke inquired. "You have no idea how hard things have been for me!"

"We do realize things are hard for you! Things are hard for all of us!" Vince said.

"None of you went through what I did." Luke said.

"We're not competing on who had the most tragic experiences. I'm just saying, if everyone focused more on the group and less on themselves, this group would function better." Vince said.

"I'm not focused on myself! I'm focused on my girls! How can I focus on anything but my girls?" Luke asked. "Just because you people don't give a damn about those kids, doesn't mean I should stop caring."

"No one's telling you to stop caring! We all care about them! And in case you forgot, it's not just Crystal and Aleena who are out there, Clem and AJ are with them too." Vince replied.

"Which is why I want to find them." Luke said.

"You have a lot of nerve to say we don't care about them. I don't remember you being a great father to those twins when they were first born." Wyatt said.

"I…. I was doing my best." Luke claimed.

"Really?" Vince asked, "What about when Clementine was pregnant? You weren't very helpful to her."

"What was I supposed to do? What happened between Clem and I never should have happened! I couldn't even look at the kid without remembering that shit…" Luke said.

"And you think you're gonna be able to look at those babies without remembering? Are you really gonna be able to be a father to them?" Vince said.

"I'll… do my best with them." Luke said.

"If your best is what you were doing before, then you need to do a lot better." Vince said.

"I will…" Luke said.

Vince sighed at this but said nothing.

Kenny and Christa walked in silence searching for the kids. They were both looking very worried.

"You've been quiet lately…" Kenny said.

"You're one to talk." Christa replied.

"What's on your mind?" Kenny asked.

"Just thinking about those kids." Christa replied.

"Do you really think they're alive? I mean they haven't been seen since we left the town…"

"I just hope they are…" Christa sighed.

"Yeah... I can't believe we haven't found them yet..." Kenny sighed and looked down at his feet. "They're probably traumatized and scared." He muttered.

"We'll find them…" Christa said.

"How? How are we gonna find them?" Kenny huffed.

"By being patient. If we keep moving, we're bound to find them." Christa said. "That's how I found Clem before…"

"You found her by luck…" Kenny shook his head. "This is so fucked up…"

"Look, we can't get angry or emotional because that won't solve our problem. We need to work together to find these kids." Christa walked over to Kenny who was silent for a moment. She gave a soft pat on his shoulder, and said, "We're getting closer. I feel it."

Kenny shrugged her hand off. "Don't get my hopes up. I don't know where they are."

"I'm not saying this just to make you feel better. I truly believe it." Christa said.

"I'll believe it when I see it..." Kenny replies and continues walking.

Christa follows him.

The adults had been arguing so long, the girls were doing their best to block them out at this point. Danielle noticed that Becca still seemed upset with her for leaving but the younger girl didn't know what else to say. She had already apologized for not telling them.

"So... Clem's really alive? You guys are sure?" Becca asked Danielle.

"We didn't find her body..." Danielle said.

"That doesn't prove she's alive." Becca said.

"It means she could be…" Danielle said.

"l hope she's alive." Sarah said.

"We all hope so..." Danielle said.

"I guess we'll never know." Becca said.

"Why would you say that?" Danielle asked.

"Do you really think we're gonna find her?" Becca asked.

"If we actually look for her, there's a chance." Danielle replied. "Why do you have to act this way?"

"What are you talking about?" Becca asked.

"The way you carry yourself, you act like you're above us. Like you're better than everyone." Danielle said.

"I do not." Becca said.

"…Sometimes you're really rude. " Sarah countered.

"Fine, whatever, I'm done arguing." Becca huffed.

"Okay… But If we find Clem, I hope you apologize to her." Danielle said

"Apologize for what?" Becca asked.

"How you treated her." Danielle said.

"Why would I? I did nothing wrong." Becca said. "I won't apologize if I have nothing to be sorry for. "

"You owe her that much…" Danielle said.

Becca shook her head. "I owe her nothing…" She refused to admit she was wrong, especially if Clementine was alive. Still, she hoped the younger girl was okay.

As they started to gather for breakfast, Clementine met some of the other group members, as well as three men from another group, Badger, Lonnie, and Max.

Clementine was weary of the men. She didn't know what they wanted. She also noticed all three men had a similar mark. She wondered what the brand mark meant and why they had it?

If she was being honest, both groups were putting her on edge. She knew Terrell trusted them though, and after hearing that these men had a camp, she was hoping it would be a nice place to go with her little ones.

The child stayed quiet while the adults talked, she glanced to Steven who was playing with a knife. When the boy noticed her gaze he smirked, Clementine quickly looked away.

The teen chuckled a bit at her reaction.

"So how big is this camp of yours?" Teresa asked.

"Pretty big. It's still growing." Max said. "We're trying to expand our ground. We plan to move to Virginia soon."

"Virginia? Why Virginia?" Teresa said.

"Lots of land. There would be a lot of space to let everyone live comfortably." Lonnie said.

"That makes sense." Terrell said.

"We really appreciate your offer." Teresa said with a smile.

"We appreciate all you've done for us." Badger replied with a smirk of his own.

Clementine wondered what their trade had been but said nothing. She kept her focus on her kids.

Knowing the van was gone, and that their chance of finding gas was small, the group continued on foot.

The walk was quiet for a while as they searched for shelter. The whole group seemed to be holding a tension throughout it.

"Luke... can we talk?" Bonnie spoke up.

"Sure...what's up?" Luke replied.

"l was thinking about what you said earlier today..." Bonnie began to say.

"What about it?" Luke asked.

"What if… there is a chance that they're not alive…" Bonnie asked.

Luke sighed, shaking his head. "Not you too, Bonnie…"

"Luke, I just want to be smart about this…" Bonnie said. "I'm glad we found out they didn't die in that cabin, but we need a plan… They were attacked, for all we know the people who attacked them could've took them somewhere else and killed them…"

"Why would they do that?" Luke asked.

Bonnie shrugged and said, "I…. I don't know… People are cruel… If they're alive, they could be holding them captive or something..."

"Which is more reason to find them." Luke responded.

"I'm just worried about you, Luke… " Bonnie said. "I don't think you realize how important you are to me. I don't want you to push yourself to hard…"

"You don't have to worry about me, Bonnie." Luke said.

"But I do…" Bonnie said. "Maybe you should try to take it easy…"

"I'll take it easy when I'm dead." Luke said.

Bonnie frowned, shaking her head at that.

"I need to find my girls, Bonnie. They need their daddy." Luke told her.

"I know how you feel… but…" Bonnie trailed offed.

"Let's just not argue then. Either you're with me or you're not… One way or another, I'm gonna find them. I won't rest until I do…" Luke said.

As the group started walking, Terrell once again pulled the wagon, so Clementine did not have to.

The women in the group continuously would remark on how cute the babies were.

Clementine couldn't help but feel proud as she thanked them for their compliments on how well behaved and cute her babies were.

"Hold on…" Badger spoke, "Her babies? No way this kid is their mother."

"I… I am…" Clementine said. "I am their mommy."

"Damn… So, your group has kids working too?" Badger asked. "Guess nothing's too much for y'all…"

Clementine didn't have a clue what he was talking about.

"What happened to her had nothing to do with us. She just joined our group recently." Teresa said.

"Oh… So what happened then, kid? Where's the father?" Badger asked.

Clementine bit her lip, not responding.

"She doesn't have to answer that if she doesn't want to… He's not here, so it doesn't matter." Terrell said.

"I guess so…" Badger shrugged. "I'm just surprised to see a kid her age with kids of her own. What are you, ten?"

"…Twelve…" Clementine corrected.

Max shook his head in disbelief. "So young… You're a damn baby."

"I'm not a baby…" Clementine pouted.

They ignored her.

"So… you… guys plan on keeping her around...?" Badger asked Teresa.

"Why not. She's already been broken in. I'm sure she'll be a fast learner." Teresa said.

Clementine was even more confused by that. "Broken in?"

"Don't worry about it, babe…" Terrell said. "Let's just keep moving."

The group did as he said.

They had been walking for a while before they stopped for a break when the twins started whimpering.

"I… I think they're hungry…" Clementine said, as she tried to calm them. "Can I feed them."

"Sure, go right ahead." Teresa smiled.

"Umm… Terrell, could you help me, move somewhere more private?" Clementine asked.

"Hey, hey, there's no need for that." Teresa said. "You have nothing to be embarrassed about. It's natural. Don't be afraid to show off your body."

Clementine felt her skin crawl at the woman's words. "I'd… rather not feed them in front of everyone…."

"You're shy, huh? No need to be…. People admire a pretty girl even more when she has confidence." Teresa said.

Clementine swallowed a lump in her throat but said nothing.

"I'll get you a blanket or something." Terrell said. "That's enough privacy."

Clementine's eyes widened. "…But…But-"

"Quit complaining, Clementine. No one's gonna look. Not much to see anyway." Terrell grabbed her a blanket and the girl took it.

She used the blanket to make herself modest while she nursed her babies.

She could hear the group whispering about how young she was and the women giggling about her being "so shy". It made the girl want to disappear.

"Once we find the kids, we're getting straight on a boat." Kenny suddenly spoke up as they walked.

"Where the hell are we gonna find a boat out here?" Christa asked.

"We won't, but if we go to Florida, we'll definitely find one." Kenny said.

"Florida…?"

"Yeah… It would be great there… Nice and warm. We could let the kids enjoy the beach, teach them how to swim… It'd be great…" Kenny said with a faint smile at the thought.

"I guess it'd be nice to settle down there…." Christa said.

"…If we had just got on a boat back in Savannah… None of this shit would've happened. Clementine would've never gotten raped… Lee would still be alive..." Kenny trailed off. "Everything is so fucked…"

"Let's just keep focused on what we're doing now… It's best not to think about the past." Christa said.

"It's hard to escape the past, when it haunts you." Kenny said.

"I know…." Christa sighed.

They continued walking until the sun started to set. When they decided to stop for the evening, by this time the babies were asleep, Clementine noticed Badger and two of the woman head to a tent. The girl wondered what they were doing, but quickly realized it when she heard moaning.

"T-They're playing sex… Aren't they?" Clementine asked, face full of shock.

"Playing sex?" Teresa laughed. "She's adorable, Terrell!"

"That's what they're doing, isn't it?" Clementine said.

"What makes you think that, sugar?" Teresa asked.

"Those noises… They're sex noises… When people play the sex game…." Clementine said.

The group laughed a bit more.

"The sex game," Teresa chuckled. "You are just too cute, aren't you?"

Clementine frowned; she didn't understand what was so funny.

"She's way too innocent! She can't be a part of this group if she doesn't even know how to do anything!" Steven said.

"I do know how to do stuff!" Clementine said.

"Oh really? Like what?" Steven inquired. "What things do you know how to do? Show us!"

"Now, now, settle down." Teresa said.

"Why are we keeping her around if she's useless? She's just another mouth to feed, her and those kids!" Steven huffed.

"Steven, hush!" Teresa snapped. "I understand you're skeptical. We haven't had a demonstration of what she can do, but we'll teach her… She seems to be pretty knowledgeable for her age. What kind of skills do you have, sugar?"

"I…. I know how to shoot a gun…" Clementine said.

The group laughed again.

"That's wonderful, but…. Have you ever taken a load before?" Teresa asked.

"A load?" Clementine asked. "A load of wh-what? I can shoot a load of bullets."

"She's just so cute, Terrell… But I like her…" Teresa said. "Do you know how to dance, little one?"

"Umm, my mommy and daddy let me do ballet when I was little… I played soccer too…" Clementine innocently replied.

"How about a little strip dance?" Teresa said.

Clementine's eyes widened, "A what?"

"You never heard of a strip tease, sugar?" Teresa asked her.

Clementine shook her head.

"Well, you just take your clothes off, and dance a little." Teresa said. "It's nothing to be scared of."

"I…" Clementine hoped they were joking.

However, Teresa spoke again, "Go on."

"T?" Clementine sent him a worried look.

"Hey... It's nothing to worry about, babe. All the girls have done it. Think of it as... an initiation of sorts." Terrell said.

"I don't want to..." Clementine whimpered.

"Come on... She's just a little kid..." Max frowned.

"Don't act like you don't want to see." Teresa said.

"I don't! She's a child!" Max argued.

"Oh please, I'm sure you want to give her a try!" Teresa said.

Max shook his head, and Lonnie looked away, saying nothing.

"Whatever, we have to train her one way or another." Teresa said. "You people had no problem with how we do things before."

"But... But you didn't have a little kid with you before." Lonnie said.

"She's not just a little kid." Terrell said. "She knows what she's doing... She's just got some more learning to do."

Clementine trembled a bit. "Terrell?"

"Hey, you love me, don't you, babe?" Terrell asked.

Clementine gave a tiny nod.

"Then do this for me... Prove how much you love me." Terrell said. "It's just a dance. Nothing wrong with that."

"B-But everyone will look…" Clementine said.

"Shh, you're not doing it for them. You're doing it for me." Terrell replied. "Do it for me…"

Clementine held back tears as she gave a tiny nod.

"Do it, for me, babe…." Terrell said. "Just do it…"

Clementine hesitated, his words echoing through her head as people watched her with expectant gazes and Terrell urged her on.

It's just a dance, there's nothing wrong with that.

"Luke, we need to stop. We've been walking all day, we're all exhausted." Vince said.

"You guys can stop if you want… But I'm gonna keep going until I find my girls." Luke responded.

"You're gonna keep going until you get yourself killed, you mean. You need a break just as much as we do." Vince said. "You're pushing yourself too hard, man. You're pushing everyone too hard."

"This isn't you, Luke… You're not this kind of person. You know we have to keep everyone's best interest in mind. Otherwise…." Bonnie said.

Otherwise, he'd be no better than Carver… Luke frowned. "I'm sorry… We can stop for the night…"

The girls sighed in relief. They were all tired.

As the group stopped for the night, they made a fire and gathered around for a meal.

"So what's the plan? Where are we going?" Wyatt asked.

"I was thinking we head back to the cabin and look for footprints… Or anything Bonnie, Danielle, and I might have missed." Luke said.

"You didn't find anything before, did you?" Russell asked.

"No…" Luke admitted.

"Then what makes you think this time it will be different?" Russell asked.

"There will be more people to search this time." Luke said.

"I guess that's the only plan we got…." Wyatt said.

"We should rest up for now… That trip's gonna be much longer without a vehicle." Bonnie said.

The others simply nodded.

"Why would you invite them to join us? You know what they do!" David hissed.

"They'll bring in supplies. People still have certain needs. They can fulfill them." Joan replied.

"They're sex traders. They have kids with them too." David pointed out. "It's sick."

"No reason to judge them. It's how these people survive." Joan stated.

"Do they got the kids doing that sick shit too?" David asked.

"As far as I know, no." Badger said.

"But it's up to them what they make their kids do. Not us." Joan said.

"This is crazy… What the hell were you thinking?" David shook his head.

"I'm thinking that we could profit from this group. We can make a spot for them in Virginia. They help us out, and we'll help them in return." Joan said. "Which means we don't interfere in the way they handle their business. As long as they pledge their loyalty to us, I have no problem with what they do."

"What about the kids? You know it's wrong…" David said.

"Those kids aren't our concern, David. If we overstep our boundaries, we'll just scare potential allies away. Now, settle down… We need to get ready for initiation." Joan said.

David sighed he looked to the group that had arrived that morning. After a while he went over to them and spoke. "We have rules around here…" David spoke. "If you're gonna group up with us you have to pledge your loyalty."

"And how do you suppose we do that?" Teresa asked.

"With this…" David revealed his own brand mark. "We all have them. And none of you will be an exception… besides the kids."

Teresa shook her head, and corrected, "Besides the babies."

David frowned at that, "I don't think we should brand children."

"They'll be fine. They're old enough to prove their loyalties as well." Teresa said.

David sighed but nodded. "Fine…"

"Start with the girl. Clementine will go first." Teresa said.

Clementine seemed confused by this and a bit frightened.

"The little one?" David asked.

Teresa nodded.

One of the men shook his head and frowned, "I can't watch this shit…"

"Rufus, wait." Joan called.

"I got a daughter. I can't watch this…" Rufus stood and walked away.

"Some people are just too faint of heart…" Teresa said. "She'll be fine."

Clementine barely understood what was about to happen. But she knew whatever they were about to do to her wasn't good.

"Come here, sugar." Teresa motioned her own.

"W-Why?" Clementine stammered.

"Don't ask me why. Just come here…" Teresa said.

"Terrell?" Clementine looked to her "boyfriend". The girl was scared.

"It's okay, babe. Everything's okay…" Terrell said.

Clementine hesitated. Terrell came over and took her little hand in his own.

He brought her over to Teresa and some of their guards and then allowed the child to sit in her lap.

Clementine noticed Badger light a fire and put something in it. She was confused, she didn't know what was going on, but she was getting more and more uncomfortable. After several minutes, Badger approached her, and she found herself suddenly being restrained by Terrell and some others.

"Wh-What's going on?" Clementine asked, trying to get away.

"Shh, it's okay, babe. Just relax." Terrell hushed.

"Terrell, st-stop it… Let me go…" Clementine said. "Please…"

They refuse to break grip on her, and she was not strong enough to struggle away.

She feels someone move her sleeve. When she suddenly feels heat against her skin she screams. Terrell quickly covers her mouth to muffle her yells.

The girl is crying, screaming for them to stop. She then resorted to crying for her parents, though she knew they were gone.

She wailed and pleaded through a torrent of tears. "Stop! Please stop! I won't be naughty anymore, I promise!"

"Shh… You haven't done anything wrong, sugar…" Teresa shushed her, wiping tears away.

"Th-Then wh-why are you doing this to me?" Clementine cried.

"It's almost over, babe. Don't cry." Terrell said.

Clementine didn't know how much more of the pain she could take. Her cries grew louder, "Help! Someone!" She exclaimed.

No one helped her.

Eventually she went limp. A sickening silence fell upon the woods as the little girl lay unconscious.

They were walking again, searching for the cottage.

Danielle didn't want to go back there, but she figured if it would help them find Clementine, AJ, and the twins then she wouldn't complain.

She just hoped they would find them soon. And she really hoped they were safe. She held Flopsie close as she tried to keep positive, telling herself that they were getting closer.

"You okay, Dani?" Bonnie asked.

"Y-Yeah… I'm just thinking." Danielle said.

"About?" Bonnie asked.

"Clem…"

"I… I don't want you to get your hopes up, sweetie." Bonnie whispered. "They might not be alive…"

Danielle frowned at those words. "Do you want them to be?"

"Of course, why would you ask that?" Bonnie asked.

"I don't know… I just really hope they are." Danielle said.

Bonnie gave a small pat on her shoulder, "I hope so too, kiddo."

"How's the kid." Rufus asked once he returned to camp.

"She's fine… Fast asleep…" David said.

"I can't believe we branded a little girl…" Rufus said. "She was crying for her parents. She was crying for her mommy and daddy and you people wouldn't stop."

"I didn't want to do it either…" David said. "I didn't want to hurt a kid like that."

"Then why did you?" Rufus asked.

"I didn't have any other choice. I was outvoted." David said.

Rufus just shook his head and walked away.

When Clementine awoke, the first thing she did was check on her babies.

Fortunately, they were fine. In fact, the group was fawning over them.

Clementine didn't speak a word to the group as she stumbled over and picked up her twins. "Come on, AJ…" Her arm was aching.

"You're awake." Terrell noted her struggling to carry the twins. "Here, let me help you, don't want you to drop them."

"I got them…" Clementine walked away with AJ toddling after her. She walked over to the wagon which was a bit away from the group and sat down.

She started to place the twins down, but Aleena whimpered a bit, and Clementine sighed holding the baby again. "Don't cry, Leena. Mama's here…" Clementine said.

As she held the baby, her arm throbbed more. Clementine did her best to ignore the pain.

AJ sent her a curious look, he reached a tiny hand to her branded arm and attempted to touch it.

"N-No, don't touch there, Goofball. It's… It's a boo-boo." Clementine said.

That seemed to stop him from touching her arm.

"Here, do you want to play?" She offered him his Disco broccoli toy from the wagon. She then gave Crystal and Aleena toys as well, which the babies immediately put into their mouths.

She shifted Aleena in her lap so she could look at the brand on her own arm. She winced as she adjusted her sleeve. She frowned upon seeing it. It made her sick to her stomach.

What was wrong with this group, why would they go around branding people like animals?

That brand would never go away… She would have it forever. Just like…

She flinched as she recalled Carver carving his initials into her back. The young girl couldn't help but whimper a bit from the memory.

She tried to shake it away, but it just kept popping into her head.

The brand on her arm throbbed even harder and she fought back tears. AJ picked up on her sadness and tried to offer his Disco Broccoli toy, but the girl was too emotional to notice.

AJ frowned and toddled to the wagon, he picked up the girl's stuffed bear and then toddled to her, trying to offer the stuffed animal to her. Clementine didn't react and he placed the toy down before going back to playing.

"You doing okay, babe?" Terrell's voice pulled her from her thoughts.

Clementine looked to him and then lowered her gaze, subconsciously clutching a bit tighter to her daughter. Having her babies close was her only source of comfort.

"How are you feeling?" Terrell asked.

"Leave me alone…" Clementine said, averting her gaze.

"What?" Terrell asked.

"You don't care about me! You don't care about me at all." Clementine sniffled.

"Of course, I do, babe. Why would you say that?" Terrell asked her.

Clementine shook her head. "Because you don't! Stop lying to me!"

"I'm not lying to you. I would never lie to you." Terrell said.

"You let them hurt me! Why would you let them do that to me? You said you loved me, but you held me down while they hurt me!" Clementine snapped.

"I love you, babe. I care about you more than anyone in this world. I proved that to you when we made love, remember." Terrell said.

"You hurt me when we made love…" Clementine said. "You let them hurt me, if you loved me why would you let them do that?"

"I had to, love… You're not the only one who got hurt." Terrell replied.

"What are you talking about?" Clementine asked.

"We all did it, when you were unconscious, babe." Terrell said.

"But why? Why would they make us do that?" Clementine questioned, looking hurt and confused.

"It was an initiation, babe. It's over now. Now one's gonna hurt you anymore." Terrell promised, he wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

"P-Promise?"

"Of course." Terrell said.

AJ suddenly grabbed at Clementine's hand, trying to pull her attention from Terrell.

"What's wrong, Goofball?" Clementine asked, before realizing he had brought her teddy bear. She smiled at that. "Thanks, buddy."

"Hey," Terrell called.

Clementine looked to him.

"I love you, babe. Don't forget that." Terrell said.

"I… love you too, T."

Two days into their trip they arrived at the cottage. They searched around for anything that would tell them which way Clementine had gone off to.

To their surprise they managed to find tracks from the wagon.

"They're alive, they have to be!" Luke said.

"We'll have to follow the tracks to see…" Bonnie said.

"I really hope they're okay." Sarah said.

"They have to be." Luke said. "I'm sure they are… Daddy's coming, girls…"

They were faced with a dilemma, they had two vehicles, but not enough gas. How would they get all their people to Virginia?

They soon got an answer.

The next day Badger, Terrell, and Teresa decided to scout around and eventually stumbled upon a small group of men. They quickly noticed the group had vehicles.

Badger approached them with an offer to trade supplies for some of their fuel, the men laughed at the idea. Teresa piped in about having plenty of "beautiful women" in their group, and how they'd be willing to offer up a fun time.

The men seemed interested in the offer. They agreed to come back with them.

When they returned to the rest of the group, Clementine looking through the baby supplies while her kids were napping beside her. She wondered who the three strangers they brought back were and what they wanted. The child was beyond surprised when the women in the group started to please the men out in the open.

David was disgusted as these women, allowed these strangers to do as they please, he decided to go to his tent, not wanting to watch.

Rufus needed to take another walk, feeling sick and shocked that the group was willing to perform such activities in front of the children.

Ava was also disturbed and attempted to escort Clementine and the babies out of the area. Clementine however, seemed stuck in place. She hadn't seen other people "play sex" before.

"I want that one." One of the men, motioned to Clementine.

"Hold on, she's a kid." Ava defended.

"She'll learn eventually." Teresa said. "You can have her, but nothing too much, she's still in training."

Terrell walked over to Clementine and tugged her hand from Ava's grip.

Ava was too stunned by their nonchalant response to do anything. All the other woman were clearly of age, but Clementine was a little kid.

"Come over here, sugar." Teresa said. "You're gonna give him a hand job. Do you know what that is?"

Clementine shook her head.

"You're gonna take your hand and play with his cock…" Teresa said.

"I- I…" Clementine trembled a bit. "You want me to play sex in…in front of you?"

"It's not quite "playing sex", sugar. You like to make people happy, don't you?" Teresa said. "You like to make Terrell happy, right?"

"I… I guess…" Clementine said, though her body quivered a bit.

"Well this will make him happy." Teresa said. "It'll make Terrell proud."

Clementine looked to Terrell, "T?"

"Go ahead, Clem…" Terrell urged. "It's okay, babe…"

Clementine frowned and did as she was told. She slowly took the man's member and started playing with it, trying her best not to cry.

After a few minutes she looked up at Teresa. "N-Now what?" Clementine asked nervously.

"Put it in your mouth. Suck his cock." Teresa urged.

"I-I don't want to…" Clementine whimpered.

"Be a good girl and give it a try." Teresa said.

"I can't!" Clementine exclaimed.

"Why not? You've never done this before…?" Terrell asked.

"There's a first time for everything, babe. Go on..." Teresa spoke as well.

"This is wrong. Kid, come here!" Ava called.

Clementine looked torn on what to do. She slowly dropped her hand from the man and began whimpering, she felt like she had done something naughty.

"You call that a hand-job? Do you really think we'll make a trade after that?" The man scoffed.

"We had a deal." Terrell said.

"Yeah, had a deal, any if you wanna keep it, she better make things worth my while." The man said.

David drawn by the noise came back out, "What in the hell is going on he-?" He cut himself off, noticing the position Clementine was in. He raised his own weapon with a shaking hand and without hesitation, shot the man standing in front of Clementine.

Blood splattered on Clementine as she attempted to back up from the man as his body fell towards her.

The other two strangers retaliated by shooting the two women who were currently giving them blowjobs.

Screams erupted around the camp as the others reacted quickly, killing the final two men.

Terrell helped Clementine up and the child quickly hugged him, sobbing into his shirt.

She could hear her babies crying from all the noise.

"Now, that was unnecessary…" Joan sighed. "We should get moving, all that noise is gonna draw the dead."

Clementine found herself trembling in fear.

As the group got a move on, she kept close to her children, still shaken up by what had happened.

When the group felt they were far enough away from the scene Teresa and Joan had a conversation in private.

"We have a big issue. Your man, scarred one of my trainees and got two of my girls killed." Teresa said.

"I'll deal with David." Joan replied.

"Your group agreed that you wouldn't intervene with how we do things." Teresa said.

"And I apologize for David's behavior. He has quite a temper sometimes." Joan said.

"Two of my people died. And it was because of him." Teresa pointed out.

"I can't do anything to bring them back, but I will promise you, we will not intervene with how your group works. I'll have a talk with David, and to make up for some of the damage he caused, I'll give you first pick on your own personal building once we get to Virginia, that way you can conduct your affairs in a private setting." Joan said.

A smirk painted Teresa's face. "…Deal."

Clementine sat silently with her twins in her lap, AJ was close by her side. The girl hadn't spoken a word since David shot that man in front of her.

Terrell had cleaned the blood off of the young girl and was sitting beside her. "You okay?"'

"…I want Christa…" Clementine finally whimpered out.

"Christa's gone, babe… I'm the only one who can take care of you now… I'm the only one who can protect you…" Terrell said. "He could've shot you… He's crazy, babe. He shot that man in cold blood, you can't trust anyone but me."

Clementine whimpered a bit more. "I'm scared, T…"

Terrell comforted her. "Shh, you have nothing to be afraid of. I'm here to protect you. I'll never leave you, love."

"Can I ask you something, Luke?" Vince spoke.

"Go ahead." Luke nodded.

"What do you plan to do if we find the kids?" Vince asked.

"What do you mean?" Luke questioned back.

"Just what I asked. What do you plan to do when you find them? Are you gonna take them from Clementine?" Vince asked.

"What? Of course not!" Luke exclaimed defensively. "I just want them to be safe!"

"I don't believe you… When you find them, I doubt you're just gonna let Clementine mother them as she pleases." Vince said.

Luke was offended by his words. "I'm not gonna steal her kids away, I'm just gonna be a father to them. She can see them all she wants."

"She doesn't even remember having them, so… it would probably be best to leave it that way…" Bonnie suddenly said. "Let her think they're her sisters or something…"

"That's not true… She does know they're hers. Christa told her." Sarah said.

"This is bullshit! Is that what you two planned on doing this whole time?" Vince asked. "Just taking the kids, and making Clementine think they're her sisters?"

"N-No! I'm not gonna take those kids from Clem." Luke said. "That would be awful."

"Yeah, it would." Vince said. "I really hope I can trust you, but it's hard right now."

"I promise I won't. I just want to keep them safe…" Luke said.

"Alright…" Vince sighed.

"What in the hell were you thinking, David?" Joan inquired.

"I was thinking that a grown man had his dick in a child's face. That little girl had no idea what she was doing!" David said.

"You got two of their people killed." Joan said.

"That wasn't my intention! I was trying to help a child because everyone else was just watching." David said. "She's a little girl… That shit is wrong."

"You can't do stuff like that. We made a deal with these people. They're part of this group now, but that girl is their responsibility, and we have no right to interfere." Joan said.

"I regret nothing…" David said. "And I would do it again if I had to."

"That's not your call to make, David. We made this decision to work with them as a group. I'm sorry, if you disagree, but you'll just have to deal with it." Joan said.

David felt sick hearing those words. He couldn't just stand by and let this happen, but he knew there was a risk if he tried to stop it.

When the group finally arrived in Virginia, they establish an area and claimed it as their space.

The neighborhood they had stumbled upon had several rowhomes. It wasn't exactly the safest area, but it was better than nothing.

They made it as safe as possible, blocked it off to the outside world as much as they could. They used the corner church as a hospital and the group member inhabited as many of homes as needed. The neighborhood wasn't huge, but most of the group members felt comfortable with having a roof over their heads.

Clementine didn't know how long they planned to be there. It wasn't at the very least breathtaking, the makeshift walls weren't as strong as Wellington's and even Wellington had fell. Clementine worried that the place would fall. She was nervous.

They were given a small building of Teresa's choice which many of the adults quickly labeled as the brothel. Clementine didn't even know what a brothel was. They spent the day settling in, Terrell suggested Clementine share a room with him. He picked out a rather large room, which connected to another, that they set up as a nursery, in order to make the girl feel comfortable.

Though Clementine would prefer to sleep in the room with her babies, she figured it wouldn't hurt to spend the night with Terrell, as long as she could hear her little ones. Promise could keep an eye on them for her.

However, that night Clementine couldn't sleep, she had way too much on her mind.

"What's wrong, babe?" Terrell asked.

"I… I'm just hoping this place won't turn out like Wellington…" Clementine murmured.

"It won't…." Terrell said.

"That's not all… I've been feeling guilty, about a lot of things… About my friends… About not being the best mom to my kids… And about Kaysey…" Clementine said.

"Kaysey?"

"She was one of my classmates… She was bullying me that night and you stopped her…" Clementine told him.

"Why are you thinking about her then?" Terrell said.

"Her and some other kids were picking on me that night, she wouldn't let me go and… I… I bit her, and… she got a fever after that… I just was wondering if it was my fault…" Clementine explained.

"Your fault? Why would it be your fault?" Terrell asked.

"I… I get a lot of fevers when I'm stressed out… Christa told me, that I… died when I had the twins…" Clementine said. "And they brought me back… But when you die… you… turn… I did…"

Terrell was quiet for a moment, Clementine wondered what he was thinking. She wondered if she made a mistake by telling him this.

"T, you're not gonna tell anyone right…?" Clementine asked.

Another few moments passed before Terrell spoke. "No… Just try to get some sleep, Clem."

"Okay…" Clementine said.

"The girl turned, and they brought her back. She told Terrell herself." Teresa spoke to the three leaders of town. She had requested that David not attend the meeting, she didn't trust him.

"Are you serious?" Joan asked.

"Dead serious…" Teresa spoke.

"How is that even possible?" Clint asked.

"I don't know… But here's my deal: you people keep David and anyone else from intervening with our "business" and I'll agree to let you test her all you want." Teresa said.

"Fair enough. However, any testing, I ask that it be conducted without her knowledge." Lingard said.

"Why?" Teresa asked.

"We don't want her to get scared and fight against it." Lingard replied.

"I agree to your terms." Teresa said.

"Wonderful." Lingard replied.

"Since, you're one of us, you're gonna have to learn to earn your place, little missy." Teresa spoke to Clementine the next day. "Steven here, is gonna be your personal bodyguard. Each of the girls have a personal guard. You'll be no exception."

"Bullshit! You want me to guard her, but I'm not allowed to touch her?" Steven complained.

"No. You're not." Teresa shot him a look. "You'll guard her, and that's it."

The teen huffed but said nothing.

"You know what a hand-job is now, but what about a blowjob?" Teresa asked the little twelve-year-old.

"A blow, what?" Clementine said.

Teresa chuckled. "Remember how Stella and Leslie were using their mouths on those men?"

Clementine gave a nod.

"I want you to do that to Terrell." Teresa said.

Clementine was stunned to hear that. "But- But…"

"It's okay, Clem… It's just me…" Terrell said.

"I don't want to do that, T… It's scary." Clementine said.

"There's nothing scary about it." Terrell replied.

"I don't-"

"Just do it, babe. Open your mouth." Terrell said. "Now."

Clementine frowned at his threatening tone but opened her mouth.

Terrell forced himself in her mouth, causing her to gag. A while passed with her learning how to give a proper "blow-job". Terrell soon stopped.

"You're such a good girl." Teresa praised. "Time for the next lesson. Take your pants off, sugar."

"My pants?" Clementine asked. What the hell was she talking about?

"Yes, sugar, take them off." Teresa ordered.

Clementine stammered, "I... But I…"

"Now, pants and panties! Take them off." Teresa said. "We're not gonna hurt you. Your boyfriend's gonna make you feel good…"

Clementine shook her head, "I…. I don't want to play sex… I don't want to-"

"Let him kiss you, sugar." Teresa said. "He won't do anything except kiss you, it'll feel nice…"

"It's okay, babe. You love me, don't you?" Terrell asked.

Clementine looked to him as she felt his hands on her body. "I d-do, but…"

"Shh…" Terrell began tugging at her pants. "Just let me do this, babe."

The girl began to sob.

"Just enjoy it." Terrell whispered.

Clementine felt him slide her pants down followed by her panties. With her exposed, Terrell pinned her against the wall. Holding her weight up, he began licking her.

Steven huffed, he wanted to be able to do that to the girl.

Clementine moaned and squirmed in pleasure.

"Do you like it, baby?" Teresa asked.

"It- It feels fu-funny…" Clementine gasped.

"Don't worry, it's normal. Just enjoy yourself. " Teresa said. "l want you to come for him."

Clementine said nothing. It felt so strange to her. Memories of Carver doing this to her flooded back, and she whimpered, but the pleasure was overwhelming her. Soon she was moaning and gasping and after a few moments she yelled out in pleasure.

Teresa smiled, stroking her curly hair, removing her hat in the process. "You got a lot to learn, sugar. A lot to learn."

Clementine couldn't respond, she was just trying to catch her breath, still surprised by what had happened.

As the days went on and they followed the tracks, they were immediately discouraged by bad weather. Just when they thought they were getting somewhere, nature seemed to have other plans.

At that point Russell, Bonnie, and Wyatt all seemed ready to throw the towel in and give up. However, Luke remained determine, Sarah and Becca both seemed torn. Vince didn't know how to feel. He just really hoped wherever Clementine was that she was safe. And that they would find her soon.

Danielle sighed, drawing Vince's attention to her.

"Everything okay, kid? You've seemed kind of down..." Vince said.

"No one cares about finding Clem. It's making me sad." Danielle frowned.

"We do care, Dani... We really do want to find her..." Vince said.

"No one acts like it… No one except Luke…" Danielle said.

"Everyone's just disappointed, when thought we were close, but…"

"But that doesn't mean we should give up." Danielle said.

"We're not going to give up, kiddo." Vince replied.

"They want to…" Danielle said. "Bonnie, Wyatt, and Russell… They want to give up…"

"And if they decided to do that, that's their choice. But we can keep looking until we find them." Vince said. "I don't think they want to give up though… I think they're just frustrated."

"Everyone's frustrated. If they don't want to give up why do they keep saying, we'll never find her?" Danielle said. "Sometimes people can be missing for a long time, and they still get found. Even if it takes a long time, we shouldn't stop…"

Vince sighed and knelt to her level, "You know sometimes grownups say things that they don't mean. They don't want to give up on Clem… They just don't know what to do right now. But I promise you, if she's out there. We'll find her."

"I really hope we find her soon." Danielle said.

"So do I, kiddo." Vince replied.

They had to wait for the weather to clear up before continuing on. When the group stumbled upon a camp, they were shocked, seeing the bodies of three men. What shocked them even more was the fact that the men were exposed below the waist.

Sarah gasped and covered her eyes.

"Oh god…. Kids don't look!" Bonnie said.

"Wh-What the hell happened here?" Russell asked, looking around anxiously.

"I have no idea…" Wyatt said.

"Probably a trade gone wrong… Or bandits. Could be a number of things." Vince said.

"What now?" Russell asked.

"We look around and try to find anything useful." Luke said.

"You can't be serious… I think we should get the hell out of here, before we become the next victims." Wyatt said.

"These guys were dead for a few days… Shot straight through the head. The camp looks abandoned, I doubt whoever did this stuck around." Luke said. "Take a look around. Try to find something useful."

The others sighed but agreed.

Sarah kept her eyes covered from the scene, though Becca seemed grossed out. "Why the hell did they have their dicks out?"

"Language, Becca." Bonnie scolded, motioning to Danielle who stood nearby. "You shouldn't talk like that in front of the little one."

"Oh come on, she's heard worse." Becca said.

"I've seen worse too…" Danielle admitted sadly.

Bonnie frowned at that.

Danielle turned away from them and decided to try and help look around. She noticed some kind of object and picked it up. Her eyes widened.

"What's up? Did you find something?" Vince asked.

Danielle showed him the object. "It's a rattle. It's the twins' rattle! Aleena loves this."

"You sure it's theirs?" Vince questioned.

Danielle nodded, "I'm sure. It has to be. It looks exactly like it."

Their chatter seemed to catch the others attention.

"What's going on?" Luke asked.

"Danielle found something." Vince answered.

"This is the twins rattle. Aleena loves this thing." Danielle said, showing the object.

Becca and Sarah both looked to the object.

"It really is their annoying rattle. Clementine was always using that thing to wake me up." Becca said.

"She would play with the twins with it. They really liked it." Sarah said.

"So she was here then. They were in this area!" Luke said. "That means were closer. We should keep moving."

The others nodded.

Danielle held onto the rattle for a while, thinking about her friend. Was she okay? Was she safe and sound somewhere? She hoped someone was watching out for her.

This group wasn't the best caregivers, but so far, they looked out for her, they made sure she was fed and warm… She hoped someone was doing that for Clementine and those babies.

As the group gathered around a fire that night, she noticed Luke was once again pacing. She wondered what he was thinking. She wondered if her mother felt the way Luke did when she was stolen away from her. Did her mother pace, and refuse to eat? Did her mother stay up all night, or constantly have nightmares when she tried to sleep?

She wished she could set him at ease a bit. His pacing made everyone, including her, anxious.

Danielle looked to the rattle in her hand. She had wanted to hold onto it. A rattle wasn't much, but this rattle was important.

She stood slowly and made her way over to Luke. "Luke…"

Luke whipped around to face her. Danielle was a bit startled by his quick movement. "Oh… Hey, Dani…"

"Hey… Are you okay?" Danielle asked.

"I'm good. I'm just… I got a lot on my mind, kid…" Luke said.

"I know how you feel…" Danielle said. "I… I want to give you something."

"Oh? What is it?"

Danielle held out the object in her hand, offering him the rattle. "I figured you might want it…"

Luke seemed hesitant but picked up the object. A small smile was on his lips. "Thank you… Thank you, Danielle."

"You're welcome, Luke." Danielle said

She just hoped this would help ease his anxiety a bit, just like Flopsie helped ease hers.
