"I know Anna I'll be safe I promise." It felt like the hundredth time Elsa had to reiterate this for her sister just this morning. She still didn't seem happy with the arrangement but they both knew Elsa couldn't stay in the capitol forever. The evidence was clear in the queen's slumped shoulders and slight pout- she didn't want her sister to leave during such a precarious time- deep down she understood however it was for the best and safest option.
Keep contact every week. That was easy enough.
Check in the investigation every week. More of the same
Lock the doors at night, understandable.
Stay out of trouble. Now that was the difficult part but Elsa still agreed more or less.
Sympathy gripped Elsa's heart, so she hugged Anna for the thirteenth time that morning, even Nokk's impatient neighing and counting of the cobblestone couldn't break the embrace.
They pulled away only enough to face Ryu and Bruni who was perched on the dragon's wrists teaching her the benefits of licking one's eyeball. Kai eyed the pair nonchalantly as Kelsey beamed at his side clearly more enchanted than her supervisor.
Clearing the emotions from her clogged throat she spoke up after whispering a few words to Elsa, the spirit nodded looking characteristically repentant.
"Ryu?"
The girl abruptly twisted her head almost completely around at them expectantly, Elsa seemed to find this less disconcerting than Anna did. She had seen Ryu do this before the knowledge of her changing magic had been discovered. She had a very flexible spine and neck.
Ryu's tongue hung out in the air drawing away from her eyeball.
"You promise no secrets?" The dragon considered the words before giving her attention back to Bruni with a lazy 'Nah' which sounded more like a yawn than an disagreement.
Elsa chuckled, resting her hand on Anna's shoulder.
"Well at least promise to protect Elsa?"
That had caught her attention though her stare remained on the amphibian who resolutely responded with a nod of his head.
"With my life."
Elsa was certain her gulp could be heard all the way to the kitchens with how abrupt it had been. For some reason she couldn't find it in herself to be left alone with Ryu and desperately searched for some type of buffer.
"Olaf!" The snowman grinned and bounded over to them from Nokk. "Would you like to come and stay with me for a week or two, I could use some help with my garden?" She knew Anna was currently squinting her eyes at her from the side but paid no heed to the stare.
Her attentions were drawn naturally to the snowman who clapped his hands excitedly in agreement. When Elsa straightened she pursed her lips.
"It's ashame to see you depart so soon my lady." A meandering Thomas states. If he felt any trepidation from Elsa's departure he hid it well the only sign being that of his more solemn demeanour.
While Anna wanted to object she couldn't help but feel her attention divided by the confusing conversation happening between Bruni and Ryu.
"-but your tongue is longer than mine so that's probably why." Did she really understand the little lizard?
Elsa plastered a fake smile onto her face. "Well I do have many things to attend to-"
"Perhaps I could visit you at your estate." Now Elsa was floundering upon herself. If anyone knew her well enough they'd know she valued her home immensely, as it was an extension of herself and did not extend invitation to many.
"Elsa she has-is very busy-" Anna stumbled, soon Honeymaren joined the verbal fray hurriedly putting an arm on both Anna and Elsa.
"And! It would be important for a lord such yourself to visit Northundra!"
Anna found footing among the excuses that tumbled from both their mouths. "And tours-"
Honeymaren nodded with the importance similar to that of a council member backing a new law.
"And the tours! For you to visit... And get them Elsa will be there." The spirit readily agreed.
"Yes! Of course a Spirit's work is never done." Anna had heard Elsa utter that line so many times to people that it now felt like an inside joke between the two.
Before the baffled Lord could catch up on the conversation unfolding between them Elsa gently albeit quickly called. "Nokk, Bruni, Gale, Ryu shall we be off then?" And before he could protest she had already gathered the small entourage together for travel.
Whether it was the urgent need from Elsa to get away or that Nokk had warmed to Ryu a bit more since their battle with Julien he seemed more ambivalent towards the dragon even while being tired of the teasing she and Bruni shared towards him, both finding comradeship being creatures of fire.
Ryu however seemed confused as to why she was Mounting Nokk behind Elsa. The spirit could hear her groan and glanced back to see what was wrong.
A large yawn broke her words. "Why can't I just fly to where we're going?" Elsa who lowered her voice considerably answered.
"Because I think some of the residents could do with some adjustment to your presence."
Ryu considered this and much to Elsa's dismay poked holes in her logic. "But doesn't adjustment usually require exposure?"
"Well generally yes but due to given company perhaps less conspicuous travel is best."
After questioning the word and hearing the definition Ryu continued.
"Is not a Japanese woman, lizard, and blonde lady riding atop a horse made out of water more...Conspicus than-"
"It'll be fine and you'll be safe... -" Elsa glanced back furrowing her brows. "Safe- if you were doing anything else with your hands than what you're doing right now-" Ryu adjusted from reclining back with her palms bracing against Nokk's rump to a more appropriate position of resting them in her lap.
"Oh."
Elsa nervously looked between the dragon's large yawn exposing her canines to Thomas, luckily the Lord didn't seem to notice.
"Ryu that's not a safe way to ride bud." Kristoff warned approaching them. "Oh..." The dragon complained. "I've never ridden a horse before I use my legs no."
He shrugged causally. "Just wrap your arms around Elsa." He said it as if it were obvious but from the way Ryu haphazardly throw them about her waist evidently it was not.
Elsa grunted small closing her eyes at the vice grip. If she had to ride the entire hour with Ryu suffocating her in her heat she was sure she'd melt half way there.
Shaking his head Kristoff adjusted the hold to one that was more appropriate while Ryu ragged dolled herself. Elsa shot him a grateful grin while manipulating herself so as to allow the dragon to be more comfortable. For she wasn't diurnal or even nocturnal as she first led to believe but more crepuscular and it was about ten in the morning so she was long past the time she'd be awake adding this to the list of things she'd ask Grand Pabbie and Bulda about.
"And here is Olaf." Anna said hulling the snowman to sit in front of Elsa.
"We'll bring you back some sun tea when we come to visit!" Anna and Kristoff both nodded being very fond of the Sun tea Elsa made them on occasion.
"You have fun big guy keep Ryu and Elsa out of trouble." Olaf saluted Anna as Ryu grumbled something about being terrifying and fierce from the rear. He chortled whispering to Nokk. "Isn't she adorable?"
"Well that's one way to describe he-"
A loud ruckus drew them to see Ryder stumbling into the courtyard on Emil. He tested his hands on the perturbed Thomas who despite being confused still allowed him to bear weight upon his shoulders.
"Elsa!" He called both Honeymaren and Yelena rushed to him.
"I was with okay umm- so I have been looking for days I don't know what happened but I've been riding for days hence- hence the name Ryder I guess but anyways-" he sputtered as his audience grasped at some semblance of sense. "But anyways I've been looking for Ryu for days! And she just vani- oh hey Ryu."
The dragon groggily nodded mumbling. "What you want?"
"She vanished for days-" all mouths went agape at the instant recognition that flashed in the young herder's eyes until he too turned to the girl who appeared next to him pointing. "What? Wha-wha?" So he wouldn't out the entire situation Honeymaren snatched him up by the nape to Yelana grumbling quiet and sometimes passionate words.
From the distance he could be seen pointing at Anna, Kristoff, Elsa, Ryu in disbelief... The consort joined them solidifying Honeymaren's support before returning.
"What's going on over there Kristoff?
"I dunno."
Elsa stared then patted Nokk's rump gently as he grew to be more impatient pulling Ryu back up with her.
Ryder returned to the small circle pale and tired it almost made Ryu feel guilty. Almost.
"I think I need a drink... Not the fermented honey kind of drink." He whined as his sister patted his back a bit too hard for his liking.
Sven puffing out his chest approached Emil while conveniently waving his head. He warbled a greeting which went seemingly unnoticed by the female who busied herself searching among the cobblestone for loose grain left by any other mounts.
When he turned to Kristoff helplessly the man at that moment regretted keeping the education of Mating a mystery to both of them. He stuttered turning to Anna. She shrugged just as clueless. "Throw her off a cliff?"
"I didn't throw you we fell." Kristoff reminded.
"Uh-oh look out Anna there's a new power couple in Arendelle." She guffawed at this leaning on Elsa's leg.
"As charming as Kristoff is I don't think he's Emil's type." She then turned serious when facing Elsa. "Remember your promise." Elsa smiled affectionately and kissed her head.
"I'll never forget it, darling." Her face instantly changed when Ryu leaned down and also placed a kiss atop her head.
Elsa chuckled, she had talked to Ryu about getting along with Anna that morning. It wasn't exactly what she had in mind but it was a start.
During the ride Olaf kept Ryu awake talking about anything that seemed to cross his mind and despite being tired she humoured him most times reaching excellent concluding parts only for the snowman to throw a log into the discussion keeping the dragon on her toes.
Whenever the conversation would turn nonsensical she found herself inescapably drawing in.
"So if you're so warm why aren't doctor's using that to treat hypothermia or at least prevent it?"
"Well because some people are afraid of me?"
"Why?"
"Because I'm scary to them."
"But they don't know you yet so how can you be scary to them?"
"I don't know Olaf, I guess cause I'm different. Some people would be afraid you."
"That's very sad then since they don't know me, I'd be a great friend to them."
"I truly believe you would be."
"Ryu?"
"Yes I've heard there are different types of teas around the world and they all seem warm and nice-"
"Do not get me started."
And so the great tea debate began Elsa could hold a foot in the race, she was fond of alot of them but from the way Ryu had described the difference between English and Asian teas she began to doubt her stance on it. When trying to ask the difference between Mid-Eastern and Eastern tea Ryu had been silently plucked from Nokk's back which should have caused panic but to see the earth giants treat her so fondly as one would a small kitten as they rubbed her chin and back while she purred it had been errant they had already made acquaintances and recognized her even in this more human like body. It made Elsa feel foolish for being so oblivious to when She had met Cherry.
"It is really no worry Erusa-" but Elsa apologized again having seen the observant nature Ryu had while they explored her home. Olaf had gone off to walk the earth spirits to their favorite resting spots promising to return for dinner.
Had she really not invited the dragon in since she had known her?
Elsa felt as if she had snubbed her new friend, but Ryu made no point in shedding light to this. The worries were abandoned as Elsa explained certain books and art pieces she had collected in time.
"Oh that was a gift from Andulsian king and oh! That one was from a small girl named Ingrid she drew that for me two years ago."
"This one is my favorite Anna painted it for me. " Every single one had its own place and purpose, even the plants Elsa had named affectionately. At some point Ryu could have sworn that each fauna had it's own personality.
Elsa would have normally felt silly yet with how interested Ryu was in every piece of her home even the furniture asking for explanations it felt...
"And what tuh- is this one's name?" She'd ask while holding up a small budding flower pot.
"Where'd this one come from? They gave it to you? For free? Why? Oh- good."
When they finally reached her office Ryu's eyes dilated as they absorbed all the titles, some translations of books she had seen before while others-
"Oh that isn't a published work- I wrote that or am writing it." Elsa said impishly to a notebook Ryu held in a delicate grip.
"Would you prefer me to not look?" She asked gently but Elsa shook her head turning to face her desk listening carefully as Ryu turned the pages.
"You should publish this." Her gaze turned upward towards the dragon still pursing the words on the pages.
"Really?" She whispered.
"Mhm. Although I would put a pun to make it fun for the reader a bit more in- in context of the chapter eh- I have seen this plant before-" Elsa looked to see the fly traps she had written about not by experience but from another book she had explored herself.
"I had no idea that it was eating bugs I thought it was trying to eat me-" Ryu now chuckled at the absurdity of the notion. "I - after seeing them I always looked where I sat in the forest."
Elsa chuckled joining her closer over the book. "It is all very clinical the way you describe them but with plants that I saw downstairs you speak of them as if they are people. That is normal but it would be very good book if you describe them all like that. Personal to help eh the reader."
She nodded and admitted to herself she didn't even noticed the differences in definitions. "Have you encountered alot of plants and habitats?"
Ryu nodded. "And animals although ya odd enough you probably know more about them and what they are called then I do. Hmm-" she closed the book and put it on the desk. "Good " A tiny breath skipped as Elsa thought of the travels and things Ryu had probably encountered in her life.
"Again I am sorry I would have prepared more-"
"You apologize so much it is okay- is fine to me food is food and welcomed whenever possible." Elsa thought on this while she set the table and Ryu politely stood aside and even offered to help but after one decline she ceased asking. Olaf took his place at the round table where he often did and even managed to bring Elsa to laughter multiple times till they began speaking of Ryu's travels. She didn't make show of the struggle she had with the utensils and Elsa made certain to not ask why.
Even with the little sauce that she could provide the dragon ate politely, and quickly save for the slight slurping from her bowl. She cleaned her plates both times making it clear that even if she was not fond of Elsa's vegetable mix she was grateful, such a juxtaposition to Elsa's food offerings when they had first met.
As Elsa recalled this smiling she continued watching quietly as Olaf and Ryu spoke while Bruni and Gale teased Nokk.
At the end of the meal she said with a slight bow Gochisousama-deshita which Elsa could only accept as thanks. It brought her back to when Anna would report how much the girl would bow when assuming her Cherry alias and even after that.
"I brought you auh- teacup." Elsa guffawed at the offer but upon seeing Ryu's sincerity couldn't help not to decline.
"I didn't know we were bringing gifts."
"Mm no you have eaten here before." Ryu assured which didn't put the disgruntled snowman at rest. They played a game of hide the object which Elsa excelled at. Olaf would hide the hidden object while they searched for it diligently which Olaf would fascinate Ryu with either random or specific facts.
It was becoming obvious that Olaf was much easier to conversate with when they went outside to gaze at the stars together. Elsa rested her head on Nokk while Bruni jumped back and forth between the stomachs of Ryu and Olaf.
"I mean isn't it crazy to see something we have no idea about and just make up stories to explain it?"
Ryu chuckled. "A human trait I'm sure of."
"What do you mean?" Elsa dreaded the answer of humans fear of the unknown, yes they had a fear of that which even she shared at some times.
"Well you don't have answers for things so you make them- don't know how we all got here boom religion explains it all- and even after learning from the wrong answers it's - some move on and accept change and some don't but that's okay-" Was it okay? "You can see it from now that you move on whether others wish for us to or not you still do and that is which drives and inspires people to come up with new answers that make sense and make life better."
"Is that how you feel? " Even though the question had not been her own it puzzled her. Elsa could see how humans lost their sense of wonder, magic and wondered if it was the better route or if there was possibility for a balance.
"If my kind vanishing from the world means it gets better than yes. Yes I do." Was it the pain in the way Ryu's voice cracked or from the very notion itself Elsa couldn't tell. She could only be happy that she was here before the magic of world had ceased to be.
"I still cannot believe you drink that!"
Ryu snorted careful to spill her warm water on Elsa's couch.
The owner defended herself sounding a bit more frantic than usual having the fatigue of the day setting in and staying up past her usual bed time.
"It's comforting for me, besides you eat foods that incorporate it!"
Ryu huffed taking another sip. "Yes but I don't have to see it or taste it, why drink the milk of other baby animals? Don't you assert enough dominance of the earth? Why don't you collect human milk?" The notion painted a pink tinge on Elsa's cheeks.
"I don't think it's about that I think it just tastes good?"
"I've tasted it and it is not good without help." Elsa soon challenged her on things that tasted bad but then good by Japanese stance of cooking but found none. And soon they began the badinage of Ryu's past again.
" -and there would just be thousands and thousands of colors and fish I did not know what to do with myself. I stayed there for as long I could." The vaste listings of colors, sponges and aquatic life reminded Elsa of dream she had and when Ryu told of the predators or dangers of said place her pulse quickened- Ryu being the natural raconteur that she was kept her single audience member clinging to every word.
When she brought up the beavers that had duck bills and who laid eggs with a poisonous touch Elsa recalled seeing an exhibit of such animals and suddenly dragons seemed the less mythical to her.
"To see one in person I could not imagine it would probably make you doubt what is and isn't possible."
"I think you could. They seem less magical when you are on a bank fighting for your life because of its deadly nature..." Elsa side eyed her companion.
That seems very specific.
"God imagine what we could fill books up with you and I-" Ryu agreed with a half smile while they both pontificated the ideas that bounced back in forth with conversation.
Some questions Ryu obviously deflected asking her own instead.
"So-" she began quietly glancing away at the carpet. "Ahto-mm damn it the big glacier is like a library place- thing where you spy on people?" Elsa's cheeks billowed as she chuckled softly.
"No, it's kind of hard to explain but remember that story I told you of when I was twenty four." Ryu nodded. "Well Ahtohallan is the source, almost like a mother-" her words caught slightly hitching her tone up. "A mother of sorts to all of the spirits and our magic and the magic of Arendelle and Northundra the rock valley, all of it." Ryu could hear the sadness in Elsa's tone shift towards more a reverence as she spoke of the river. It was peculiar, she always saw Elsa as the mother of forest and other spirits but as she watched her and Gale tease Bruni with snowflakes she now could now consider that instead of a mother Elsa was more of older sister to all of them well experienced in the role naturally.
"I mean I mostly go there to visit or for guidance or for very important answers. I don't use it to spy on people. Besides they only show me the past sometimes to learn for the future."
Ryu gulped harshly and took a shakey breath. Noting her rising anxiety Bruni crawled up her shoulder and nuzzled his face into her hard scales, nipping at a loose one.
"They probably wouldn't show me yours-" Elsa added attempting to make it seem as an after thought. "Only events that have transpired in the waters that pass through are shown." For a split second Ryu felt a tad bit relief until the very idea that she herself had lived in the seas near and bordering Arendelle for a few months rose back to the forefront of her memory. Still she was certain Elsa wouldn't pry without her consent.
She stared at the grinning spirit who was slowly looking through a large tomb.
She had spied on me before, but that was before she knew it was me... Still.
Ryu exhaled heavily, closing her eyes and only opening them when Elsa carefully scooted closer sharing a view of the book. For some reason the artwork didn't thrill her as much as Elsa. The Eastern words and designs poked small needles into her brain till they reached the nerves of memories Ryu would prefer to keep buried.
"Do you like it?" She asked. How could Ryu say no when Elsa's expression looked so buoyant- with her big blue eyes?
"I do yea umm just uh I don't know much about dragons except what I've told you and you don't agree so I won't be of much help." Elsa would not be deterred on the matter though. Her face set to a firm and gentle expression.
"Well we can compare and contrast ideas and research of course-" she placed notes of various notebooks and papers upon the coffee table in front of them. She organized them as Ryu's stare fell upon a small brown notebook. "May I touch?" Elsa although engrossed nodded humming.
Ryu flipped through the book. It was numerous notes and sketches of herself! The various body parts- some in detail and some vague. When Elsa finally faced her she cleared her throat wringing her hands together.
"I apologize for that I probably should have asked first." Ryu leaning back titled her head to rest on the couch cushion.
"You can draw whatever you like." She murmured, in her life she had never heard of someone needing permission to draw someone else.
Whether Elsa took it as her pointing out common sense or giving her permission to continue she didn't know.
Reading and listening to Elsa go over some of details about Eastern dragons stirred many ingredients into Ryu's pot of cantankerous emotions. She hated it. None of them made any sense.
Jealousy over their power and those that loved them? What did it matter they were dead now.
A small sense of security that not every single member of her race was a monster? Mute ideals, the only one now left was a monster.
Anger that the humans killed them and those reasons weren't specified? Humans killed everything that walked or breathed even things that didn't.
Or fear- if Dragons so powerful in their prime who banned together did not stand a chance, what hope did barely past being a fledgling stand on her own, alone in a world full of them.
That feeling was the worst one, a baby chick trapped in a den of foxes and yet she had always been told she was the monster and for the most part believed it, where monsters ever afraid of their quarry? Were human's the heros in her story and she the villainous coward?
Navigating some the information was to say the least extremely difficult, silent the entire time Ryu was immensely uncomfortable. Her shifting eyes and hard scales that twitched ever so slightly, to tightly tucking her limbs underneath her body as best she could. It reminded Elsa of a small hedgehog which would curl into a spikey ball of protection.
Ryu was trying to reign in her emotions but they were coming off her like fumes- It was like smelling the heavy grey clouds before the storm arrived- Elsa considered the book- she did not want to ever indirectly make Ryu feel threatened especially in her home but when Elsa would tip toe or skip a passage she was told to read it.
It was only when Ryu changed the topic to coral reefs as they spoke of the elements, specifically water, that Elsa goaded her on to try and draw it to lighten the mood but they discovered... Ryu was terrible at drawing.
When she drew a particular creature Elsa slowly closed her eyes failing at hiding back a smile. The deviant grin meant the perverted design wasn't lost to Ryu either. She leaned back snickering then after a brief pause mumbled.
"God is a pervert." Finally Elsa's chest let loose the laughter it had been trying to retain. She rubbed her face groaning. "Are humans related to starfish?" Gale finding delight in the now lifted Spirit twisted in the living. Already prepared for the sylph Elsa placed the weighted coasters she kept for such an occasion on their paperwork.
"Seems the starfish are the ones wining if that is the case. Look at the size."
Both their hands landed on the notebook when they dared to look up at each other.
"Mine." Ryu stated gripping the notebook tighter. Still smiling Elsa shook her head. "No that's mine."
"You said I could have it." Bruni sided with Ryu's peccadillo ownership over the book.
"No I didn't. I said you could use it."
"Haaaaveh."
"Uuuuuse."
"Huse."
Elsa lost her composure now, her laugh sounding like an old man wheezing, Ryu wouldn't tease her though still recovering from embarrassment of 'Huse.'
Finally calm Elsa looked her in the eye and gave her own contribution to their blarney. "Uave."
"Mine was better." Ryu giggled.
"Oh my goodness I think the time is getting to us, I don't usually stay up past nine-thirty." It was Eleven.
"No, I do not sleep at night I'm just like this."
"Still-" Elsa states standing to clean up the notes. "You haven't slept well yesterday or today so maybe some rest would be good for you." She turned to Ryu brows lifting. "No?
After considering Ryu leapt to her feet. "Okay."
In Elsa room she searched for a gown or shirt that would fit the dragon.
Finding one she turned to spot Ryu pushing against her bed.
"I've never slept on bed before I got hurt." Elsa held the dress allowing her to explore a bit more until she came across Elsa's friend.
She reached out and touched his cheek gently. "Allo."
"That's Sir Jorgenbjorgen." Elsa reminisced how he would listen to her talk about anything and everything when she was isolated growing up.
"Hello Sir... Borgus smor-' slowly looking to Elsa who shaking her head sympathetic. "He also goes by Sir." He didn't but for Ryu he could. Picking him up Elsa sat on the edge cuing for Ryu to as well handing her the small puffin.
Tenderly she caressed his features and glove cape. Elsa saw how her nostrils flared as she leant her face closer to him subtly scenting him.
"He winking at me." Ryu tilted her head. Elsa chuckled waiting till she gave him back to her.
At first she was a bit embarrassed by having Ryu see something so sophomoric in her room but that worry had long been gone and as Ryu dressed Elsa wondering if she had gone nose blind brought the puffin up to her nose and inhaled deeply smelling nothing but comfort and herself.
Once dressed Ryu trailed Elsa to the room across and watched as she made the bed so deliberately she wondered if all humans or at least most performed the task and how important was it.
"Well I know you aren't going to sleep but... Goodnight Ryu." Ryu just watched her as if the words traveled at a much slower pace then they were spoken at. Elsa held her eyes in her own nothing but the blood rushing through her ears, her heart beat joining her body's symphony when Ryu smiled contently.
"Goodnight Erusa."
As much as she wanted to slam the door that would have been an overreaction, Elsa was sure. The moment, though happening only seconds ago, replayed over and over again. How Elsa practically ran out the room to her own felt so childish.
Her head rested back against the door. What was that? Curiosity of one another?
From Ryu's stories it seemed she was just as curious of humans as Elsa was of her from the limited contact she had with them. Most likely curiosity on her part but Elsa's...
This seemed to do nothing to comfort her. Sitting upon her bed after getting ready she glanced at the book sitting atop her night stand. Laying back she propped Sir Jorgenbjorgen on her lap in the crook of her arm and attempted to read.
The words all muddled together not making any sense even when Elsa could register them she retained nothing. Giving up she laid down pricking absently at her stuffed friend's hairs.
All the days events and words Elsa dosed recounting. Bruni watched when he finally arrived back at Elsa's magic manifest her dreams, some of the images like Ryu and himself and Anna made sense but other confusing shapes that wafted anxiously in the air made his head tilt.
Her fizzing fingertips brought Elsa back to the woken world she shot upright seeing the results of her dreams. That was odd... She usually didn't get so restless in her sleep for her magic to act upon its own accord, at least not since she was child. She decided to throw on her robe and check on Ryu.
As quietly as she could she cracked open the door to see Ryu's bed was empty. Swallowing she slowly pulled away standing in the dark hallway. What was going on with her emotions lately? It wasn't an absurd thing Ryu was creature of a the night of course she wasn't in bed.
A sweet creature.
"I just need to get a grip-" light stretched itself from under her office door illuminating a small portion of the hall.
Peaking in Elsa hoped she didn't cause too much of a commotion.
Ryu was sitting at her desk pouring over her fauna book she had written. Elsa's chest tightened causing her heart to beat against its restriction defiantly as if it wanted dance. As she went back down the hall to her room she enveloped Sir Jorgenbjorgen in a giant hug, and her grin was kept all throughout the night even as she slept.
