"Thank you all for coming." Ari greeted.

The Queen had gathered The Queen Consort, Her Serene Highness Atia, Grand Ducal Marquis, The Princess Royal and Dr. Lewis away from the Watch Reception and asked them to join her at her guest residence in Rhaxma. Ari stood near Helen and Atia, who sat closely together on a couch.. Evony sat in a high-back chair across from them. Lauren sat in a flanking high-back chair while Bo leaned up against it.

"I thought this would be an appropriate time as any to breach this matter." The Queen said.

"What's going on, Your Majesty?" Bo asked.

"Helen and I believe the mindquakes Atia suffered are part of Atia's growing powers." Ari explained.

"She's a Ranoruk. Your powers are ever-developing." Dr. Lewis replied.

"Except Atia's powers are proving to be rather…exceptional." Ari said.

"How exceptional, Your Majesty?" Lauren asked.

Ari looked at her wife then back at Lauren and said, "We believe Atia may be Omni-Kinetic." Lauren looked at Their Majesties, shocked. Bo, however, was perplexed.

"I'm not following." Bo said.

"How certain are you?" Lauren asked.

"Fairly certain." Ari replied.

"What? What's going on?" Bo asked.

"If I may, Your Majesties?" Lauren asked. They both nodded. Lauren then turned and looked at Bo.

"An Omni-Kinetic can control all forms of matter, energy, space, the essence that flows through most of existence, and even time. In all of Fae history there has never been a more powerful Fae, and I submit Their Majesties come close, but Her Serene Highness would be the first in the history of what we know of the Fae to be the most powerful of them all." Lauren explained. Bo still looked perplexed. "What they're saying is that Atia may be a Phoenix." Lauren added. That made Evony sit up in her chair.

"Okay. That I understand." Bo replied.

"Lauren's right. The closest any Fae has ever come to exhibiting such powers is Helen herself. All the Realm knows this, but to have two of you with such powers? That's concerning." Evony said.

"Why?" Bo asked.

"You have a Queen who's a Ranoruk, and whom can also command the powers of all the previous Sovereigns. She is married to a Fae whose powers are so strong they can destroy entire planes of existence, and together they produce potentially the strongest Fae in our entire history? Yes, concerning." Evony explained then asked, "Are any of the rest of the Ruling Children showing similar abilities?"

"Each one of our children seems to have a focused strength on one or several aspects of their Fae powers, like Rimma for example. Her sorcery powers are unrivaled save that of her Aunt Nehanda's."

"We don't doubt that." Lauren commented.

"But none of them have exhibited such breadth of strength like Atia. Dakari perhaps." Helen replied.

"When did you first suspect this was happening?" Evony asked.

"Atia's Dawning. It came earlier than we expected, and she struggled with the initial stages of it well enough to where I needed to accompany her." Ari replied.

"The Realm allowed that? You're The Queen!" Evony said in surprise.

"The Realm wasn't happy with her decision. I would have gone but Ari insisted it be her." Helen replied.

"I couldn't do anything else." Ari said as she smiled at Atia.

"I had to be accompanied too. By Dyson." Bo said with a smile towards Atia. "I would have gone it alone, but…"

"We insisted Dyson go with her." Lauren finished and squeezed Bo's hand.

"Well, it was a good thing Mummy was there, because none if it made sense. At least to me. Until now." Atia said.

"Neither did mine. Until the very end of it." Bo replied.

"Each Dawning experience is different. Some experiences can be allegorical, some can be literal, or anagogic, but all Dawnings have intent. Some are realized during the Dawning, others later." Helen added.

"When we entered her Dawning, we were dropped right in the middle of a pitched battle during the War of the Five Ranas. Chaos everywhere. Blood everywhere." Ari said.

"I remember stepping into what I thought was mud, but it was blood and entrails. Fae fought all around us. Like we were in some sort of bubble." Atia commented.

"A portion of the smoke cleared, and the Dawning focused on a specific battle not too far in front of us. It was Helen and Evony, fighting side by side." Ari continued.

"They saw that I moved a little too far away from Evony to engage the enemy and had fallen in the crossfire. I reached out with my powers as the enemy barreled down on me." Helen added.

"I remember that moment. Something told me to reach out with mine." Evony finished.

"Wait. How? I mean I know you can melt people but…" Bo started.

"Like this." Evony outstretched her hand and emitted a psionic blast that took out a plant nearby. Bo and Lauren's eyes widened.

"What the hell? You can do that too?" Bo asked in shock. Evony titled her head slightly.

"How did I not see this before? Evony's a Leanan Sídhe, who can both absorb and drain the talents from people. The melting effect of her draining power implies a psionic ability to manipulate matter and energy so her ability to emit psionic blasts follows. I get it now." Lauren deduced then looked up at Bo. "And here we've just been taking our lives into our own hands all these years."

"Evidently." Bo replied. Evony let loose a small smile.

"What Atia and I witnessed in that moment was something even I, as her wife, have never seen before. She wiped out the entire arm of the attack." Ari said.

"And what Ari means by wiped out, she means gone. First, they were awash in fire, and then just winked out of existence." Evony clarified.

"I had heard about what happened afterwards, but it wasn't until the Dawning that I saw it first-hand." Ari said.

"Never before had I demonstrated that level of power. After the War, we discovered it's not a power I can command on my own. I have to be helped, and we tried with others with abilities similar, if not exactly like Evony's with no success, and the effort became more determined when Atia started to exhibit signs that her powers were growing to such a degree they rivaled mine." Helen added.

"So you want Evony to do what? Try again with Her Majesty?" Lauren asked.

"We want her to try with Atia. We believe if she does the same thing with Atia and it elicits the same result then we have our answer, and then we can work to stabilize her powers, control them if you will, because right now they are fighting to get out." Ari replied.

"Who will control her then?" Evony asked.

"Me." Helen answered.

"So, I am to unleash two Omni-Kinetics at once? At the same time?" Evony asked incredulous.

"Yes." Ari replied.

"Your Majesty! On what plane? There's no Plane safe enough to even test this theory. And if this experiment spins out of control they could wink us all out of existence! We got damned lucky during the War as enough as it is!" Evony protested.

"So, is this to happen right away?" Bo asked.

"No. We want to wait until the Convocation, the Installation Ceremony, and Ari's Great Sleep is over." Helen replied.

"Not to sound insensitive, Your Majesties, but what do we do in the interim?" Bo asked. "Her mindquakes alone are so powerful they can be felt on multiple Planes."

"That is where you come in Dr. Lewis. Can you devise an inhibitor of some sort? We don't want Atia's abilities taken away, we just need them tamped down until we know what we are dealing with." Ari replied. Lauren shot Atia a concerned look.

"Doctor Lewis, please don't be concerned. The 'tampening' was my suggestion. My parents, however, believe most problems can be solved by sending us to one of the ancestral family homes." Atia said with a loving smile at her parents.

"Nothing's wrong with a little fresh air and family." Helen stressed. Bo and Lauren smiled.

"I will need to conduct a series of tests. Establish a baseline much like I did with…Evony." Lauren said somewhat embarrassed. Atia smiled.

"I heard the story from Kenzi." Atia replied which caused both Lauren and Evony to look away briefly.

"Evony. This is what I meant when I said we needed your help back on the Human Plane." Ari said.

"You should have warned me it would entail possibly destroying all known existence." Evony replied.

"Will you help?" Ari asked.

"I am always yours." Evony replied.

"I'm curious, Your Serene Highness. What did the rest of your Dawning show you?" Lauren asked.

"That's the funny thing. All it showed me was that, and then it was over." Atia replied.

"I wish I was that lucky." Bo said.

"As does Emilia." Atia replied.

"Her's was that bad too?" Bo asked.

"She went through an allegorical narrative. Lasted four days." Atia replied.

"Goodness! Mine lasted only hours." Bo replied.

"Jock's Dawning was the worst of us all." Atia replied.

"Why's that?" Lauren asked.

"His Dawning was completely anagogic. Full of the mystical. He didn't return from his Dawning for almost ten days." Atia replied.

"Holy smokes!" Bo said surprised.

"It's one of the reasons why he feels so compelled towards the Sanctuary." Atia replied.

"Did anyone accompany him?" Bo asked.

"Aunt Nehanda." Atia replied.

"So, I return to my original point. There needs to be a safe Plane to test all of this." Evony replied.

"We have one in mind." Helen replied.

"Which one is that?" Evony asked.

"The Court of the Dead." Ari replied.

"Interesting choice." Evony commented.

"I've been thinking. We need one more person to accompany us." Atia said.

"Oh? Whose that?" Ari asked. Atia smiled.

"Kenzi." Atia replied.
