"What a mess!" Nick said. "How the hell are we going to clean this up? We do not have enough shovels or people to bury all these bodies." Nick commented as he, Jeremy, Dyson, Elena, Clayton, Nick, Logan and Tamsin surveyed the battlefield while they tended to their own wounds.

"How the heck are we going to explain away all this damage?" Logan added.

"In all seriousness, normally our…encounters with the Mutts are nowhere near this catastrophic. That new crevasse created at the base of Deapers Mountain between Clio and your new friend Ehlnor can be explained away, but all these strewn bodies will take time to dispose of, and we need to do so before full daylight hits and we have to deal with passerbys." Jeremy advised.

"No worries. We have resources on their way to clean this up." Dyson replied.

"Really?" Nick asked incredulous.

"Really." Dyson confirmed with a smile. "It's one of the perks of being under the rule of the Presidium."

"Can we hire them for future work? Would save my back!" Nick said.

"Your back?" Elena, Clayton, and Logan countered in unison. Dyson chuckled.

"Dyson?" Tamsin prompted then pointed off into the distance. Dyson turned and saw Jeremy's answer approaching them, dressed in simple black clothing with a long, dark coat that covered most of it. His chest bore an embossed black sigil.

"Your Excellency?" The man said as he bowed his head to Dyson. "My name is Agent Delos. It is our understanding from Her Grand Ducal Serene Highness Marquis that you require assistance?" The man said.

"As you can see." Dyson replied as extended his arm out across the battlefield.

"We shall attend to it right away." Agent Delos bowed again, turned and left. As they watched him return the same way he came, they saw transvortexes open up all around them, and equipment and personnel emerged from them.

"How the heck?" Logan said incredulous. Jeremy looked at Dyson.

"I think I am ready to have that talk. Your Excellency." Jeremy said. Dyson smiled.

"Let's go check in on Julia and Reed first." Dyson replied.

They arrived back at Stonehaven to find the Presidium clean-up crew had already returned Stonehaven back to its original form.

"How?" Jeremy asked.

"Patience." Dyson replied then Erik came up.

"I tried to have Julia transported to the JFM, but she said she wouldn't leave until she knew everything was okay." Erik said.

"Where is she?" Dyson asked.

"In Jeremy's office with Reed." Erik replied.

"And Reed?" Tamsin asked.

"He will not leave her side." Erik replied.

"Was she bitten?" Clayton asked.

"No. The Presidium people checked her over thoroughly." Erik replied.

"Good." Clayton replied.

When they entered Jeremy's office everything had been returned back to original state as if nothing had ever happened.

"How is this possible?" Elena asked.

"All in good time." Dyson replied.

"You seem to be quite the fighter. For a human." Jeremy said to Julia.

"I have to hang somehow." Julia replied.

"How are you still alive?" Logan asked Julia.

"I'm a fighter. I don't go down easily." Julia replied.

"What I meant was when a Humans find out about us being werewolves, we kill them." Logan clarified.

"The Fae had a slightly different policy." Julia replied.

"That was?" Logan prompted.

"We could have opted for a life of servitude by being claimed or be killed. If I had been claimed, and a Fae harmed me or killed me then that Fae must compensate my 'owner' for that loss or be killed." Julia replied.

"Well, that is a slightly different policy." Logan said. Julia nodded. "And who is or was your…claimant?"

"The nature of my work allowed me to slip between the cracks, so to speak so I didn't have to worry about it. Plus, Bo's own example in not choosing a side helped paved the way. But now, I am just as much part of the Fae world as the Fae born into it." Julia replied.

"Your Excellency, we should move her to the JFM." One of Agents standing nearby said.

"Of course." Dyson replied. The Agents then opened a vortex and raised the floating gurney Julia was on and then stepped through it with her in tow while Reed walked behind them.

"She is something special." Jeremy said.

"She is." Tamsin replied. Then Clio entered then room.

"Hey!" Tamsin greeted. "You just missed Julia and Reed."

"How are they faring?" Clio asked.

"Good. Julia wasn't bitten or anything." Tamsin replied.

"Glad to hear." Clio said.

"Where's our newest friend?" Dyson asked.

"He's back at the mountain, grabbing a few things before he comes here. I was thinking, maybe he should stay here since it's pretty much his bailiwick. He can be our eyes and ears on any mysterious movements and can help these guys with any problems they might have." Clio replied.

"Great idea." Tamsin said. "After we debrief him."

"Of course." Clio replied.

"In my lifetime, I never would have thought I would have seen a living, breathing mountain." Clayton said. "I have so many questions about his species, his history, everything."

"There will be time for all that." Jeremy replied. Tamsin looked to Dyson.

"We need you to get your wounds tended to as well." Tamsin said.

"As soon as I'm done with everything here." Dyson replied.

"Thank you again for your help. If you ever need anything just call." Dyson said as he and Tamsin prepared to depart Stonehaven.

"Thank you for your help. We were both able to satisfy our mutual interests." Jeremy replied.

"At least I know now if you guys come again to expect quite the party!" Nick said.

As they walked to their car, Dyson stopped Elena.

"So, we never had a chance to speak. You're not a hereditary Wolf like Jeremy?" Dyson asked.

"No. I was bitten. By Clay." Elena replied.

"Oh. Is he a Hereditary Wolf?"

"No, he was found by Jeremy when he was a child, bitten by another wolf."

"I see."

"After all I've seen, it's still so hard to believe there is a world out there full of super humans…sorry, I mean super beings." Elena said. Dyson smiled.

"You would be quite surprised."

"You know, you sound very proud about being a Fae."

"I cannot be anything else."

"Don't you regret ever being Fae?"

"That would be denying my very existence."

"I regret being a Werewolf every day."

"You were made against your will. I can understand your feelings."

"I just want to run away and live the life I choose." Elena said. Dyson blurted out a laugh so hard he almost snotted, and had to wipe his nose.

"Did I say something funny?"

"No. Just something very, very familiar that my dear friend use to say all the time. It was like her life motto."

"Did she ever achieve it?"

"Yes and no."

"I don't understand."

"She achieved everything she wanted out of life, but through circumstances not of her choosing."

"That sounds ironic." Elena said.

"Is she happy?"

"Very much so."

"What's your friend's name?"

"Bo. Her name is Bo."

"Someday, I would like to meet this Bo." Elena said.

"And I am sure she would like to meet you one day as well." Dyson said.

They all exchanged handshakes and then Dyson and Tamsin jumped into the car and departed Stonehaven to the waves of Jeremy, Elena, Clayton, Nick, and Logan.

Ehlnor quickly packed his things inside his living cavern. He suddenly realized he was happy. For the first time since witnessing the banishment of his people. He knew he would never see another Monolith again, which made a wave of sadness pass through him, but it was quickly replaced with hope. Hope that he found a new life and a new purpose.

He finished packing up and was about to turn and leave when he felt himself lift off the ground slammed up against the cavern wall. His eyes went wide at the sight of the person in front of him.

"Rumlar!" Ehlnor yelled. "Let me go!"

"You are the only one outside of my little cabal who has seen the Initiator. We cannot have you or that information fall into the wrong hands. The time has come to clean up loose ends, and you my friend, are a very loose end." Rumlar replied.

"You betrayed me!" Ehlnor shouted as he struggled.

"More like used you. But you know this. Nevertheless, it is time." Rumlar replied. Ehlnor struggled harder to free himself to no avail.

"Let me go!" Ehlnor raged.

"Goodbye old friend!" Rumlar waved as the rockface all around Ehlnor melted, fusing Ehlnor into the mountain.
