The morning after the Installation Banquet, Bo and Lauren were having breakfast with the children in their private Dining Room when the doors suddenly burst open and in strode Dyson who clearly did not look happy.

"Dyson!" Bo greeted. "What's going…?

"They took Tamsin!" Dyson blurted.

"What? Lauren replied.

"Who did?" Bo asked.

"The Valkyries! To the Hall of Valkyries! To try her for defying the Queen's orders!" Dyson replied.

"When?" Bo asked.

"This morning!" Dyson replied. Bo stood up.

"Call Kenzi!" Bo said into the air and Kenzi shimmered into view. They saw Kenzi was walking down a busy hallway.

"I take it you're calling about Tamsin?" Kenzi asked.

"Yes." Bo replied.

"I'm already enroute to the Hall of Valkyries." Kenzi said.

"Good! Meet you there." Bo replied then ended the call with Kenzi and next called Trick who answered whilst sitting in his offices.

"Did you hear about Tamsin?" Bo asked.

"Yes, I did." Trick replied.

"I'm heading to the Hall of Valkyries now. Kenzi is meeting me there." Bo replied as she cleared her chair and headed for the door.

"Kenzi knows they won't allow her inside because she's Human." Trick reminded.

"She's my Personal Agent. She can try!" Bo replied.

"Matters not." Trick said.

"We need to find Tamsin a lawyer or something." Bo replied.

"Evony is enroute." Trick said.

"Evony? I thought she was just going to observe?" Bo asked.

"Evony is the Grand Ducal Serene Highness of the Renaştere Delegation. She's accountable for Tamsin's actions as well. Besides, she has more weight than you know." Trick replied.

"Tamsin did nothing wrong!" Dyson thundered.

"Except disobey the Queen." Trick replied evenly.

"Are you planning to head there yourself?" Bo asked.

"No." Trick replied. That made them all look at him astonished. "It's not like I don't want to, but for me to run to Tamsin's side as a Rana of another Dynasty would mean I have no faith in Evony."

"Well, she kind of hates us." Bo quipped.

"Kind of?" Lauren commented.

"And neither can you, Your Royal Highness, for the same reason that I cannot." Trick said.

"I am not going to allow Tamsin to stand alone!" Bo replied.

"I know Evony is not ideal, but Evony is the best chance Tamsin will have in winning her case before the Valkyries." Trick said.

"I cannot risk Tamsin being banished forever. I'm going to her!" Bo replied as she stormed out of the room with Dyson right behind her.

"Your Royal Highness!" Trick yelled after her. "Bo!" Trick yelled again, but only to see the doors close behind them in response. Trick looked to Lauren and exhaled and ended the call.

Bo, Dyson, and Bas Kadine and entered the foyer of the Hall of the Valkyries to find Kenzi already trying to talk her way into the inner chambers before the two Valkyrie guards.

"Any luck?" Bo asked as she approached. The Valkyrie guards saluted Bo while she and Dyson exchanged courtesies and then hugs with Kenzi.

"Nope. These two act like they don't hear or see me." Kenzi replied. Bo walked up to the Guards.

"Let me in, please." Bo directed. The two Guards looked at one another then faced forward again.

"Didn't you hear me? Let me in!" Bo demanded. Both Guards went to one knee.

"Your Royal Highness, we cannot admit you within the Hall." One of the Guards replied.

"Why not?" Bo asked.

"I can answer that!" Dyak Landon, one of Bo's Principal Aides announced as he came running into the foyer and quickly bowed. The Guards recovered and resumed their flanking guard stance before the Hall of Valkyries. "Your Royal Highness!" Landon greeted.

"What are you doing here?" Bo asked.

"Dr. Lewis called." Landon replied.

"So why can't I enter the Hall?" Bo asked.

"It's because it exists beyond the Realm of the living, Your Royal Highness." Landon replied.

"It's not as if we haven't been there before. A few times, in fact." Kenzi replied. Landon offered a quick smile.

"Allow me to clarify. This a Realm only Valkyries can enter. If you pass through those doors, you will forfeit your life." Landon said.

"Again. Been there. Done that. Returned." Kenzi replied.

"Kenzi." Dyson cautioned.

"Well, I'm the Princess Royal. Chosen by Destiny. Doesn't that give me a special pass or something?" Bo asked.

"Unfortunately, no, Your Royal Highness. Only Their Majesties." Landon replied.

"Well, then how does Evony rate entry?" Kenzi asked.

"It's because I'm her Advocate." Evony replied as she strode up with Stasio and Ian Greystone in tow and quickly exchanged courtesies with Bo.

"Well, she can have more than one then." Bo said.

"Your Royal Highness, this is as much about me as it is about Tamsin." Evony replied.

"How's that?" Dyson prompted.

"Tamsin went off script that's how!" Stasio interjected. "If it were left up to me, I wouldn't even send an Advocate, and let her pay for her disobedience!"

"Glad that it isn't left up to you!" Dyson shot back.

"Okay! You two! Enough!" Evony ordered.

"We should appeal to the Queen." Dyson said straight to Bo which elicited a deadly look at Dyson from Evony who then stepped directly in front of him.

"I am the Head of the Renaştere Delegation, and I will determine what decisions are needed. Not you! Are you not paying attention to the politics of this all? Or just roaring about brainless as usual? Not only is she being judged, but we all are being judged! And worse! Right out of the gate after winning Inclusion! Stasio is right. The quickest way to deal with this is to offer Tamsin up and be done with it! For the good of the Delegation!" Evony said. Dyson inhaled deeply and exhaled. "But I also realize what Tamsin has done for us and what she means to all of you."

"I'm glad that…" Dyson started but Evony cut him off with a wave of her hand.

"But do not think for one second that if a sacrificial lamb is needed to protect what we have won, I will serve Tamsin up on toast!" Then Evony stepped closer. "Am I crystal clear?" Dyson inhaled deeply then nodded. "Good." Then Evony stepped back and turned to Stasio. "Keep an eye on the place."

"I will." Stasio firmly replied. Evony extended her courtesies to Bo and then turned towards the doors leading to the Hall of the Valkyries. Then turned around and looked at Dyson.

"When this is all said and done, we will need to reconsider whether you are capable of remaining as Viceroy Secundus." Evony said.

"Fine! But I beg you, please bring Tamsin back to me." Dyson replied.

The Guards opened the doors and Evony stepped through, and the guards promptly closed them behind her and presumed their security positions. Stasio and Ian promptly turned and left the room.

Dyson stood there for a long moment staring at the closed doors, shoulders slumped. Both Kenzi and Bo tried to comfort Dyson, but he shrugged them both off. He offered a quick bow of his head and then turned to leave.

"I can't…." Dyson muttered as he walked out of the foyer. Bo and Kenzi looked after him pained.

"Should we talk with The Queen?" Kenzi asked. Bo slumped her shoulders then turned to face Kenzi.

"Evony is right. We can't keep running to The Queen any time we don't get our way. Besides, we knew this was coming. We're just going to have to trust Evony will spring our girl."

"Trust Evony? You're kidding right?" Kenzi replied.

"Unfortunately, no." Bo said.

"We can't just do nothing!" Kenzi implored.

"Being here. Being present is not doing nothing. We're just going to have to wait and see." Bo said.

"Your Royal Highness?" Landon prompted.

"Yes?" Bo prompted.

"I should point out time passes differently inside the Hall of Valkyries." Landon replied.

"Explain." Bo prompted.

"Days in there might be minutes or seconds out here. Or days out here might be minutes or seconds in there. Or time is equally expended." Landon explained.

"How's that possible?" Kenzi asked.

"It's a death Realm, more or less. Time is inconsequential. That's why visits to such Realms like the Court of the Dead are so infrequent is because time operates the same way there." Landon replied.

"So, Tamsin could emerge in seconds, minutes, days, months or…." Bo started.

"Or never." Landon finished. Bo slumped her shoulder, exhaled and then walked out the door followed closely Landon. Kenzi was a few steps behind when she was stopped by a spoken sentence.

"We see you, Agent Malikov. All too well." One of the guards said. Kenzi quickly looked back at the guards then ahead to see if Bo and Landon had heard, but they were already out of sight. She looked back at the Valkyrie Guards.

"Don't worry about me. Just take care of my girl in there." Kenzi said and then walked out the door.
