Sup everyone! Hope y'all are doing well. Me? Just peachy, not much to say for this AN aside from wrapping up the Three Factions Meeting and the following Khaos Brigade ambush, also nice to see you all are enjoying what I'm putting out, kinda surprised there's no backlash about how I got Azazel here. Then again there's several fics that make Sirzechs and other douches, and the whole bit about Naruto 'losing' his chakra seems to be mostly forgotten by now. Losing track here, anyway, onwards.
Standpounds; Yeah, that is one way to do so.
Uday Sra; I try, perhaps once a month, given my work schedule.
Golden Wind God; thanks bro, glad you're loving it.
Spark681; Eeyup, turns out the Three Factions have a new player on the field.
Antex-The Legendary Zoroark; Yeah just something to shake up the politics, plus with Yasaka there, the Three HAVE to get their shit together.
T-B-R; My thoughts exactly.
DemonHunter175; Nope, turns out the so called 'Peace Loving Fallen' has a fair share of skeletons and ghosts to haunt his lazy ass. Question is will he wise up and cash the checks his mouth writes, or will he mess up and need to step down for someone better?
Chronosign; Yeah, mommy bunny needed a snickers and that was Naruto. Also, not sure what you mean by 'Black Rose Dragon'.
GrimmBoiFerrum; Eeyup lovely wild fox, damn shame we can't capture endemic life or the rare critters in Rise like we could World/Iceborne as pets, then again given the size of some (Monksnail), I could see why.
Rezuvious; thanks, hope you enjoy it as it comes along.
Guest; Yeah, there is backstory to Azazel and the Arch-Viles, which Atrox is one and leads his brothers as they serve Naruto and the Hellhold. More will come in due time as they got a bone to pick with the head honcho of the Grigori.
Guest; He's a few centuries old, around 250 if we're trying to narrow it down.
Now then, where were we?
-The Hellhold-
Three sets of Light Spears clashed against one as Kalawarna, Raynare, Mittelt and Dohnaseek were sparring in a large training room. It was three against one as the girls found out they were severely outclassed by Dohnaseek, like he was making them look like rookies when it came to fighting.
"You call that a strike?" The male of the group swatted Mittelt aside like she was nothing before parrying Raynare and jabbing her with his spear as some lightning magic sent her stumbling back as if hit by a cattle prod. Kalawarna attempted a strike from above, but he caught her weapon with his free hand and threw her into her friends. This had been going on for a bit as all 4 were settled in and Dohnaseek took it upon himself to whip the three into shape, proper warriors and not Azazel's sleazy underlings as he put it.
"Seriously, what the hell makes you the one in charge here, I was team leader last I recall!" Raynare piped up as she went to attacking, wielding her spear in both hands as she tried her best to humble Dohnaseek. Mittelt joined her as both Fallen women had some steam to work off, Kalawarna on the other hand, opted to stay back and observe.
"And where did that get us? Two dead humans turned Devils along with their powerful Sacred Gears now becoming their property. You're too volatile, Raynare and your need to get back at Azazel almost got us wiped from reality." Dohnaseek countered as he batted away Raynare's strikes and backhanded Mittelt with his free hand.
"What the fuck do you know of getting slighted by that bastard? You're just some washed up has been-" Raynare was interrupted when Dohnaseek appeared before her with a burst of speed and his spear aimed under her jaw. His face set in a stone-cold gaze as he stared her down.
"Do not presume to know my past, librarian. My axe to grind against Azazel is mine alone and I won't tolerate you throwing a fit because you fucked up with your plans." His voice wasn't the same snide tone that his enemies were used to. It was hoarse with age and experience. He let his spear vanish as he took steps back.
"Now, you probably don't know, but with our second chance, came change, Lucifer and her friend saw it fit to remove our ties to the Grigori. She also added a sliver of power into us as well, not to corrupt, but to enhance ourselves. To become better than Azazel and his followers." He spoke as he removed his coat and set it aside. Rolling up the sleeve of his left arm, he clenched his fist and focused his power. The trio watched as bands of solid light formed at his elbow and snaked up and round, encasing his forearm, hand and fingers in a hard-light construction in the shape of a bulky gauntlet. He then punched one of the training dummies as it blew apart in splinters from the impact. The gauntlet then morphed to his will, the fist widening into a cannon as he aimed and fired off a blast of holy energy at another dummy and reduced it to another mess of splinters. His weapon construct vanished as he will it away and looked to the girls as they got the point he was making.
Raynare looked to her spear held in both hands and snapped it in the middle, watching as both halves condensed into spheres of light in her hands and shifted into a pair of futuristic looking pistols. The weapons each being powered by a sphere of holy light magic as she gave them a twirl and experimentally fired off a shot at a dummy, ducking as the energy bullet ricocheted for a bit to a few targets before dissipating. She holstered her guns as they morphed into fashionable belt buckle.
Mittelt's spear bubbled and melted down to a pair of solid gold bracelets that went over her wrists as she looked them over. Picturing a weapon in her mind, magic channeled through the dual bracelets as they slid off and morphed into a large double headed ornate battle-axe. Giving a few swings as it felt just right as the weapon reformed to her bracelets.
Kalawarna's spear shifted, turning into the shape of a unique longsword as the light faded to reveal a weapon fashioned from bone and metal. The long blade had teeth on one side and was segmented along its length as she gave a swing and revealed it to be a sword-whip of sorts. A large diamond orb with an intricate crest was nestled in the center of the weapon's handle. She also noticed a small ring on her index finger that was silver and had a ruby, sapphire and topaz gem inlaid and a fourth empty socket. She willed the weapon away and saw the diamond appear on the ring alongside the other gems. Her necklace glowing briefly as the gemstone grew warm for just a moment.
Their attention was pulled as the doors to the training room opened and a small food cart rolled in with Shuri pushing it along. Raynare and Mittelt immediately connected the dots as they could see the resemblance to that one chick who helped thwart their plans at the church. The wife of Baraquiel wore a lovely purple and gold kimono with a floral pattern along it as she gave a smile to the Fallen Angels. Kalawarna smiled back as Raynare and Mittelt raised eyebrows at her entrance, and Dohnaseek? Well, he thought he was seeing the ghost.
"Afternoon ladies and gentleman, I wanted to welcome you to the Hellhold and ordered some snacks from the castle kitchens, I hope you don't mind me interrupting your little group bonding session." She greeted with a small bow as Mittelt was the first to respond as she began taking several sweet snacks off the cart to enjoy.
"Hey, how come a bunch of demons just left this castle moments ago?" She would ask while enjoying a slice of angel cake. Kalawarna and Raynare helping themselves to some fresh baked energy bars. The 4 angels did sense the sudden disappearance of a lot of demons with varying levels of power.
"Given that the meeting of the Three Factions is underway following the failed assassination of two heirs by the war crazed Cadre, I can deduce Naruto crashed the meeting and brought muscle to coerce them into all reaching a favorable outcome. That and Yasaka had some issues with how poor the management was so far." Shuri answered as the other three were wondering how this Naruto came to command such a vast collection of demons, just another thing to ask him on as they took a break from sparring.
-Kuoh Acaemy-
"I am Atrox; High Commander of the Horde, Leader of my brethren and unfortunately the spawn of this pathetic waste of holy essence." The Arch-Vile introduced himself to the gathered members as he was polite to a fault as his glowing eyes took in their demeanors as the demons all kept things down. His clawed hand dismissively gesturing to the struggling Azazel with that last bit as this got everyone's along with calling him father upon his entry.
"What the hell are you blabbering, I would never create something so hideous." Azazel growled out as all pretense of the chill and friendly Grigori leader wishing for global peace was tossed out the window. Seeing him so aggressive was a surprise to those that knew him as he looked ready to start fighting and killing. Atrox just chortled at the fallen's words as he still struggled to break free.
"All these years and you still haven't learned your lesson from grandfather. But I did not come all this way to watch you still festering in your self-pity and whine like a swine." The demon remarked as he turned his attention to Michael and Sirzechs. "If you stop struggling, they'll relinquish their hold." He advised as Sirzechs did that and the Whiplash around him pulled her blade from his neck and loosened her coils. Michael followed suit as the Gargoyles shuffled off him. Everyone else sans Azazel copied as the demons let them go and pulled back to line the walls.
"So, what is this, a display of power to get us to cooperate?" The Leader of the Angels asked as he gave a wary glance to Naruto and Yasaka as the couple nodded.
"We can trust that you three would come to a satisfying deal, but a little incentive doesn't hurt. Besides, you all brought a little party with you, so why not even the odds." Naruto replied with a smile. With a look, the demons holding Azazel down let go and backed up. "Now before we continue with the talks. I believe that the Devils owe the Angels and by extension the Church an apology." He said and stood up.
"For what exactly?" Serafall asked as she folded her arms while Naruto reached into his cloak and brought out a small burlap sack as he walked over to Ajuka.
"Oh nothing in particular, just got done with weeding out a pest that's been hiding under your roof." He overturned the sack as a meaty object fell out with a plot onto the desk before the Beelzebub leader.
The severed head of Diodora Astaroth.
Immediately the devils all took umbrage and began shouting for Naruto's death as the Four narrowed their eyes at him and let their power flood the room. Naruto just tossed the bloody sack to a Pinky demon that gobbled it up as he watched Ajuka stare and pick up his brother's head in shock.
"Do you have any idea what you just declared by murdering an heir of ours?" Sirzechs asked in a low tone. The Angels and Fallen watching with bated breath as Naruto snatched the head from Ajuka and moved to the center of the room as a small stone pedestal formed into existence.
"No, because this kid here has been a naughty little boy and keeping secrets from you guys. Let's see just who Diodora Astaroth really is under the public eye?" He set the head on the pedestal and inserted a glass orb the size of a lime into his open mouth as his face was set into a scream. With a little bit of necromancy. The orb lit up and beamed forth a floating screen to display the memories of Diodora Astaroth to the people in the room. The boring parts of his life like growing up with a silver spoon were fast forwarded as they got to the juicy stuff. Michael frowned as he glanced to Ajuka, gauging his response as the memories showed from Diodora's pov that he would stalk and prey on women of the cloth. Enamoring them, getting them kicked out and then defiling them as their screams for him to stop just got him off and he took them. Building his peerage of broken slaves as his eyes were on Asia.
For her part Asia was horrified about the fate of her fellow church peers as she never knew Diodora was faking his injury and got her excommunicated all so he could claim her as another of his toys. Tears leaked from her eyes and covering her mouth with hands at the vulgar display of debauchery as Diodora was truly a monster, Issei pulled her in a hug as he was thankful this scum was dealt with otherwise, he would have gone after him, consequences and politics be damned. "And that's not even the plot twist." Naruto said as another set of memories showed Diodora sneaking to a secret spot and meeting with a familiar face, one Shalba Beelzebub, a member of the old Satans that was exiled after the end of the Devil Civil War alongside his comrades. Diodora would feed him secrets only privy to nobles and other classified information proving that not only was he a monster who preyed on the innocent for his gain, he was also a traitor to his people willing to help overthrow his brother and friends for personal gain as Shalba gave him a snake made of power, one of Ophis's tools.
The final memories were of his capture at the hands of Dominique Baldwin, who had managed to lure and corner him into an old manor, binding his powers with bible papers attached to the walls as she beat the tar out of him as a justified mother to the creep preying on her child; breaking bones and making him beg for her to stop until he was unconsious. She then sealed him into the small gemstone she would pass onto Naruto at the Vatican as he would hand it to a beautiful pink haired woman in the Hellhold. Said woman had horns curling down from the back of her head, red eyes, pointed ears and dressed in a red & black gothic Lolita styled outfit. She put Diodora through HELL, subjecting the devil to all sorts of torture and misery as he was tormented, spilling his guts out about all his allegiance to the old satans, his fun making his peerage of broken husks of holy women and every single misdeed he has ever done. All in an effort to stop the pain she inflicted upon him as she has many demons participate in defiling and breaking the Astaroth heir. When he was nothing more than a sobbing wreck pleading for his family, she summoned her personal axe guitar and spoke to him in her lovely voice, her first and final words to the mess of a young devil she spent days destroying.
"You call yourself a devil deserving of status and prestige, yet all I see is a sniveling coward quick to deceive his family and peers for a morsel of real power. You are nothing but a disgrace to your kind, a disgrace to my name and an utter waste of unholy flesh. No one will mourn you." With that, she swung her bladed instrument and decapitated him. His head rolling off his body as she reached down and picked it up, his final memory as his brain shut down and his vision fades to black was being made to watch as demons descended on his fresh naked corpse to feed. The video shut off as Naruto plucked the orb form the mouth and pocketed it, tossing the head to Ajuka as he cleared his throat but was interrupted.
"Lies, you just made that all up to assassinate a noble hair in cold blood. We demand the heads of that blonde bitch and the pink haired one! You, go fetch those women for us!" the devil called out and pointed to Atrox, drawing support from his peers as Atrox chuckled, followed by the other demons as the whole room was filled with the chaotic laughter of the unholy monsters as it made the devils shut up in confusion. Rias had a small giggle as this drew some looks from her friends.
"Apologies, but you don't command us, Devil. We swore our allegiance to him as he saved us from extinction during your war." Atrox clarified as this has Sirzechs and Serafall confused, not expecting these denizens to have been native to the Underworld as pretty much everyone believed Devils were the only race to inhabit the dark realm.
"Nothing like the end of the road to bring focus to mind, makes folks honest. Everything you have witnessed from Diodora's memories, it's all true. Dominique Baldwin, despite no longer being an active inquisitor, is still under holy protection." To this Michael nodded as she was one of their best before she resigned a few years ago. "As for the other woman who punished and killed your brother, no can do." Naruto replied as he looked to Ajuka, who despite what some of the devils were saying, agreed with Naruto. Diodora was a traitor and a monster, so him being put down was for the best. He could only hope those poor victims of his were getting the help needed to make a full recovery.
"Atrox, I believe they all got the memo, time to head back." Naruto gave the command as the Arch Vile gave a bow and the demons were being de-summoned as he was the last to go as he looked to Rias.
"Scarlet Witch, your awakening and victory over the Pheonix bloodline was quite the show, we congratulate you and look forward to your next visit." With that Atrox vanished in flames as the others all relaxed while Naruto took his seat. Sirzechs was curious about Rias's relation to the demons under Naruto's service as he would ask her later, meanwhile Michael watched as Azazel was still casting a dark look to Naruto as Yasaka was whispering something in his ear that got him to chuckle.
"I would like to speak to my brother, alone." The Leader of the Angels announced as everyone got the memo and filed out of the room, leaving Michael with Azazel as Baraquiel closed the doors. Michael got up and walked over to the windows as he stared out to the town of Kuoh, his back to Azazel as silence reigned for a few moments.
"Would you care to explain what's got you so worked up about Mr. and Mrs. Uzumaki?" Michael asked as Azazel sat in his chair, eyes on the desk full of evidence against the Grigori and him. "That wasn't a request, Azazel." The Fallen Angel just sighed and closed his eyes to reign in his bitter mood, today was looking so promising; get the shit with Kokabiel swept under the rug, see about getting Asia to heal his wound and have Solarion repaired for his mission and also work out a better deal for the Grigori. But that wasn't all shaping up as he had hoped.
"Nothing to concern yourself with, Michael-
"Cut the crap, Azazel. I know of your infatuation with Lady Yasaka, yet you have nothing but heated contempt for her partner. So out with it." The blonde leader ordered as he was not going to play any of Azazel's games, not when it came to important political matters.
"First off, my love life isn't your concern. Second, I'm just concerned for her safety and life, that's all." He snapped back as Michael turned to his crippled sibling with a look of confusion.
"Why, because she might have two or three more children before this decade ends?"
"No, that thing that has its claws in her." Azazel snorted with a grumble.
"And what about Mr. Uzumaki, pray tell, is the problem here? He's been nothing but helpful to keeping the peace. As clearly, we are all growing lax with the treaty." Michael pointed out.
"It's a fucking space parasite, Michael! Don't tell me it has you fooled too with this 'genuine nice guy visiting' shtick." Azazel snapped as he was mad, just thinking about how Naruto was profiting from the meeting not going the way he was hoping was getting to him. How easily he had someone like Yasaka eating from his hand. Michael frowned as he figured out just why Azazel absconded with Solarion and his current wheelchair bound predicament.,
"And that's why you stole Solarion from Heaven, in some misguided delusion that you're saving us all from a threat that does not exist and to worm your way into another married woman's dress, Is that it? From what I see that attempt failed and the only reason you survived was on his mercy, am I correct?" Michael deduced as Azazel averted his gaze from the Archangel.
"It got lucky, that's all."
"Of course it is, that's why you attempted to claim responsibility for taking Kokabiel down and stopping his plans to have us owe you a favor or two, am I wrong?" Michael sighed as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. "I'm starting to believe your son is right, you really haven't changed much ever since you were cast out."
"That thing is not my son!" Azazel snarled out as Michael just scoffed.
"Do you really believe I have forgotten the whole debacle that got you and many others exiled? Father gave one simple order; do not lay with mankind, but to you that was nothing but a suggestion. I have met Atrox prior to this day, for a so-called monster, he's well educated and does not take after you, the apple fell far from the tree. The Nephalem were your short-lived legacy and your original sin, there are no other records of you having kids, no matter how many experimental drugs you make." Michael took a few steps to Azazel who exhaled from his nose, hating to be reminded of his impotency for, in his eyes, a simple oopsie.
"Thanks for making me remember Father's unjust punishment." He muttered as Michael just continued.
"And for your information, I already know of Mr. Uzumaki's otherworldly ancestry since he first set foot through the gates of the Silver City. Gabriel had set up our meeting after helping him a while ago." Micheal watched as Azazel shot him a look of incredulity and found his voice.
"You let that thing into Heaven? What the fuck were you thinking!?"
"Gabriel glimpsed into his soul, despite the rough edges, he's a kindred spirit. He wants what's best for his friends and family and willing to change the world to make it a reality. Can you say the same?" Michael asked as of now, he was doubting Azazel's real intentions for peace with how worked up he got about a lone outsider to their home. "Now, in regards to the interviews of Rayanre's team, I believe its time you start taking things seriously."
"You expect any validity from a group of traitors that are supposed to be dead?" Azazel asked with sarcasm in his voice.
"What I expect is for you to stop lazing about and be an actual leader for once."
"Yes, because I should take advice from the one who failed to stop our traitorous bastard of a sibling from killing dad and left us in this mess?" In hindsight, Azazel would have kept his trap shut rather than spew this out. But mad people say stupid shit they don't mean sometimes. Azazel found himself slammed into the wall back first as Michael held him up with an arm to his neck. His lame legs dangling a few inches off the floor as the Seraph gave a stern look to his Fallen sibling.
"Funny, if only I had the help of the Grigori to prevent such a tragedy, but you ran with your tail between your legs, like a coward." Michael shot back, now he was normally above these types of petty banter and opted to be the bigger man. But if it meant shutting Azazel up, then fine. The words were like a slap to Azazel's face as he struggled in Michael's hold.
"So this is how its gonna be, you'd side with an outsider and traitors over your own ever loyal brother." Azazel grunted out, sounding defeated and hurt by this seeming betrayal of trust.
"I will do whatever is necessary to protect the trinity of realities from falling into chaos. Clearly you have forgotten why Father had us created and its time you understand its not all fun and games, brother. And before you complain about getting the short stick of the initial treaty, you had countless opportunities over the ages to reach out to me and work something out, yet you chose not to." Michael spoke in a low, but authoritative tone, benefitting of the Right Hand of God. Azazel saw it clear as day, this wasn't the kind older brother, the one that always lent a hand to help his siblings no matter the task. This was the loyal soldier, the one who carried out God's wrath on the unjust and corrupt, who took Lucifer's wings and cast him out after the failed rebellion.
"Now hand over Solarion." He commanded as Azazel bit the inside of his lip, but conceded, reaching into his coat and bring out the broken spear. He tried to repair it himself, but that only had more cracks form along the broken shaft. Michael took the weapon with his free hand and let go of Azazel, using telekinesis to put his crippled form into his wheelchair and back at the large desk. Storing the weapon away in his robes. Michael exhaled as his shoulders loosened up.
"This conversation is finished, and if we are at another meeting like this because of your carelessness. I will personally remove you from power and drag you to Heaven's dungeons in chains. Am I understood?" Michael asked as he gave Azazel his full attention as the latter swallowed the lump in his throat.
"Yes, sir." With that, Michael motioned, and the doors unlocked so everyone could return to the room.
-The Hellhold-
Dohnaseek and Shuri were walking the halls of the castle library, having dismissed the ladies after several more rounds of sparing with their new gifts while the Himejima mother watched. While the Fallen ladies were enjoying bubble baths in their rooms, Shuri had asked him to accompany her as he obliged.
"You're curious to know how I am alive despite no Evil Piece or Brave Saint embedded within my soul?" She asked as the silence lingered between them.
"Yes, that was the primary thought upon seeing and sensing your presence, Lady Himejima." He replied.
"Oh please, call me Shuri, we are family after all." She giggled as a few possessed books flew about. "And to answer your question, two factors play into my resurrection. The first being the generosity of one of the Shinto kami, Lady Izanami is quite happy to be remembered and receive offerings." She began as Dohnaseek raised a brow, the Matron of the Dead was ever the vengeful one and greatly considered the main threat to the Shinto Pantheon, her own family, and particularly disliked the Five Families they favored.
"And the second would be the fine young man that governs this castle, but you've already met, have you?" She asked as Dohnaseek did find Naruto's voice familiar but didn't really think much of it at the time when they came to the Hellhold.
"So how is my husband doing these days?" She asked as the angel thought for a moment and replied. "He's… managing, losing you sucked all the happiness out of him and now he's even more indifferent and throws himself into his post more than ever."
"And my daughter?" This caught him off guard as before he could respond, she surprised with a hug and spoke up, "I know that you've done what you could to keep her safe in our absence, and I thank you, brother." She looked to him with a genuine smile as he let out a small sigh.
"Some uncle I am, I should have done more for her. Giving her to the devils was a better option then letting her anywhere near the Grigori." He admitted as he thought about the scared little girl he watched from the shadows, unable to do more lest he blow his cover and plans to assassinate Kokabiel without Azazel interfering.
-Years ago, in Japan-
It was early in the morning when the sounds of wings flapping filled the air as Dohnaseek arrived and made his way down an alleyway in a city, coming to a stop as he stood before a cobbled together home made of cardboard box and camp tents. Kneeling, he opened the door and let out a small sigh to see Akeno sleeping, head on a dirty pillow and some newspaper as her blanket. The girl was only eleven years old; this was no way for her to live, anyone for that matter. From what he gathered, shortly after the tragedy, she lived with her cousin, but then was thrown out and forced to live on the streets, using her skills from her mother to purify evil spirits in return for a warm meal for over a year and a half now. Unknown to others, he did what he could to hide her presence, even from her own father. Was it a bit cruel, yes, but he was not going to subject her to Azazel's cult. That and she hated Baraquiel for not being there from what he recalled.
He had witnessed many atrocities in his lifetime, perpetuated and acted upon by both good and evil alike or caught in the crossfire. Akeno and her family were just another victim of circumstance. He gently reached into the home and took his sleeping niece into his arms and got up after altering her blanket of newspaper into a wool one with some magic. He glanced in a direction as he picked up the presence of a Devil, no, two devils. One was clearly a child while another was reincarnated. He glanced down to the girl as he watched her huddle into the blanket, his mind made up on what he was going to do.
"Sorry brother, but she's safer in their hands then ours." He took to the sky and flew a short distance. Coming to a clearing in a forest, he placed her on the ground under the shade of a large tree. His hand coming to rub some dirt off her cheek as he procured a few items from his coat. A small purple backpack and a bento box, which he had made before coming for her. Setting them at her side and standing up, he could sense that the devils were approaching and backed up. With another application of magic, he had a small bed of flowers bloom around her, nothing special but to throw off the Himejima clan with pollen that muffled their senses as he knew they were out for spilling her 'tainted' blood. Mortals, he could never really understand them.
Making himself scarce, he watched as she soon woke up and helped herself to the food, poor girl must have not eaten anything last night by how quickly she ate it all. Her curiosity at being moved from her downtrodden home to the woods was interrupted as a few hound dogs came into the clearing and were snarling at her, great, the clan was here. The dogs had talismans on their collars that warded off his magic and made the flowers wither as he bit the inside of his cheek. Time to improvise as something within his coat glowed.
"G-good doggy, nice p-puppies." She stuttered out as she scooted up against the tree. Suddenly a much deeper growl caught their attention as from the shadows stalked out a direwolf. Its coat a steel grey and eyes black and gold, fangs displayed and terrifying the hounds as they backed away and scampered in fear with tails tucked. The wolf calmed and looked to Akeno before bowing its head and vanishing as it was an illusion. She barely had a moment to relax before her granduncle with a party emerged to do their devilish deed. Luckily before they could, a certain princess of the Underworld showed up along with her father's Bishop as he looked a bit ruffled at the sight of grown adults looking to harm a child.
"What is the meaning of this!?" Dohnaseek leaned back against the tree as he listened to everything while the small glow ceased from within his breast pocket. The Himejima clan head was adamant at first about cleansing his pure bloodline by executing Akeno. But soon conceded after both the young devil and her guardian made a compelling argument in her defense as an agreement was made; they would leave her alone so long as she never returned to any territory owned by them, and always remain by Rias's side. Soon enough Rias and her friend returned to the Underworld with Akeno as the clan returned to their compound. Dohnaseek exhaled as he looked to the sky.
"Would you have let this slide, father, just like what happened with J?" He then looked to the spot, in his mind this would be the last time he ever saw Akeno Himejima, his one and only good deed as a deadbeat uncle to her deadbeat pops.
"Hope your life is far better with them then us, niece." He muttered as he took off into the sky.
-Present-
Shuri listened as Dohnaseek came clean about his involvement with Akeno being taken in by the Gremory house that day, hearing about her own family gunning for her little girl just upset her as some sparks of golden and purple lightning danced across her form. This surprised her brother-in-law as he sensed Shinto magic coming from her, but it wasn't normal priest levels, it was closer to the divines and felt… unholy.
"You ok?"
"Its fine, just a bit miffed that my family would go this far even after my banishment." She muttered as he watched her hands clench in motherly fury. A purple cat made its presence known and jumped onto her shoulders as Shuri's mood lightened a bit and she stroked its head.
"I know my dear, just disappointed in my clan." She replied as it meowed. She then looked to Dohnaseek and asked,
"Could I ask a favor from you, brother?"
"Yeah, anything." He replied with interest.
"I would like your help in getting Baraquiel to leave the Grigori, it might take some time, think you could help restore our family?" She smiled as he nodded.
"Count on it."
-Kuoh Academy-
Everyone was back for the meeting as the Big Three managed to work something out; a new start if you will as terms were set and agreed upon so all three groups could hash things out rather than be at each other's throat over the most minor of issues. Yasaka had a new treaty ready and submitted as Michael, Sirzechs and Azazel were ready to sign as everyone looked to be ready for this new chance at true peace.
'Bossman, we got bad company!' Gasper called to Naruto through telepathy as the Dhampir was in the ORC clubhouse and not with Rias's group. He picked up on it too as he got up and walked over to the windows as this got everyone's attention.
"Something the matter, honey?" Yasaka asked as Naruto was performing hand gestures and signs with magic forming around everyone as a large protective dome that he conjured up.
"Yeah, seems we have uninvited guests." He replied just as a large series of explosions rocked the academy ground and the school itself. Everyone felt the tremors, and some were thrown off their feet, but all remained unharmed thanks to the barrier. The explosions soon stopped as the dust settled revealing a good chunk of the school was destroyed, the culprits a horde of magicians allied with the culprits behind this attack; Katerea Leviathan and Creuserey Asmodeus. Naruto dispelled the shield as everyone regained their bearings and looked up to the floating pair.
"Katerea and Creuserey, how uncouth of you to ambush this Peace Meeting." Sirzechs began with a frown as Katerea scoffed, yet her gaze lingered on Naruto and Yasaka, who noted her apologetic look while everyone else missed it and gave a slight nod in return.
"And miss out on the chance to do away with the liars and thieves who stole what is rightfully ours?" The Admodeus heir laughed as he then pointed to the group. "We of the Khaos Brigade still long for the war and taking back our home from you cretins will bolster our numbers. Plus, a chance to murder the leaders of Heaven and the Fallen is a boon not worth passing up. Come Katerea, my sweet, let us join powers." He looked and pulled 'his' woman close and leaned in for a kiss as he sought to merge their powers to stand a better chance. Katerea just smile as she moved her hand,
"Oh Creuserey, you're such a fucking idiot."
I know, I know, I'm a bit late. Apologies, work and life get busy. Feels like im kind of dragging a bit here with the major DxD plot events, given its taken what, a couple chapters going over this Peace Meeting between the Three Factions following Kokabiel's failed plans. Meh, I'll ask Yagami and others in the discord about stuff as to not overbloat things. Anyway, hope you all enjoy this and please leave a review on your thoughts and/or a PM if you wanna get in touch with me.
