Sparda.

A legendary demon who 'awoke to justice' and single handedly defeated the armies of the Underworld, essentially betraying the Prince of Darkness, Mundus, and sealed the gate that connected Hell to Earth, earning him the moniker of Legendary Dark Knight, despite losing most of his powers in the process.

Less known for humanity is that two millenia later, he settled down to make a family with a woman named Eva and had two sons, twins: Dante and Vergil.

Unfortunately, demonkind can hold grudges for, practically, eternity and are pretty much familiar with his scent, ultimately leading to tragedy, but we're not here for that story.

As you know, Sparda may have lost most of his strength but he was still a demon and demons tend to have lifespans that could span for millennia which brings a little problem.

Boredom. Yes, even righteous refined knights can feel it, biological immortality tends to do that.

And while he may have staved it off with a good fight from time to time, he was still incredibly strong and skilled for someone who gave up his demonic powers (for the most part) so most of his fights tend to end really soon. What a pity.

And other mundane activities? Done them all. Even travelling to the Americas before the vikings and Christopher Columbus. Multiple times at that. With only a boat and unholy patience just to give himself a challenge.

Fortunately, he always had a remedy for the evils of boredom: Yamato. One of the three Devil Swords he sealed his power in and one of the two he was able to take with him, representing the concept of 'separation'. It originally meant to separate demon from man but its impossibly sharp edge made it able to further weaponize that concept to literally cut through time and space.

So Sparda just uses it as a portal opener to visit other worlds, meet new people and beat the shit out of whatever wants to conquer or destroy the world and woo the ladies.

You cannot say he didn't know how to have fun, at least.

This is just one of the many tales he had among this myriad worlds and one of his longest friendships.

Honkai Will Cry

The Dark Knight hummed while walking alongside the river. How many times did he do that apparently seemingless routine? No matter, at least it lightens the mood. From what he saw of this land, it looks like the China of his own world, well, human world. Sometimes he confuses where he was born with where he lives. But let's not trouble ourselves with that.

He's on vacation. And on vacation he shall relax.

Unless, of course, he finds trouble. Or trouble finds him.

He heard that there was a monster plague around called Houkai or Honkai, which means 'Collapse'. Fortunately, there was a guardian deity, Phoenix, the Celestial Empyrea, an immortal who's been around fighting them for ages.

He had to admit he was curious. Are the Honkai on the same level as the demons, his kin, that he fights regularly? And could this Phoenix give him a good fight?

Just as he was thinking of entertaining and glorious battle, he realized he was approaching a village. And that there was some kind of commotion.

Being the curious extradimensional demon tourist that he was, he decided to take a look. He would still go to the village anyway. He was getting hungry for some local Chinese, sorry, Shenzou food. Ah, the joys of visiting other countries in other worlds!

AN: Still thinking the dialogue for this. Need to play The Forgotten chapter of Chronicles, finish my other stylish action games and continue imagining Sparda merrily laughing like JP Fate Gilgamesh (Siegfried Kaslana's voice actor). Though next chapter of One Sky, One Moon, One Moon, a New Tomorrow to Build is underway. How do you imagine Sparda's interactions with our birb? Any other trip destinations for our Dark Knight in the Honkaiverse's past (after Previous Era, of course)? And no Vs comments! I have this story in Spacebattles for a reason.
