here is chapter twenty of my newly revised Marissonshipping fanfiction, 'The Heartless Timing of Life'. I'm sure that reading this twentieth chapter will soothe my readers after the horrid display of sisterly hatred that was chapter nineteen. I felt a lot prouder of this twentieth chapter. I've always been a girl for details and having much to offer, but these troubling times have certainly forced me to try to be more grateful for what I already have and what I can offer to the best of my ability. this twentieth chapter, while it only has a simple four-hundred-nineteen words worth of storyline to it, I find that it might just be a lot more comforting than the last chapter was, despite chapter nineteen having more words to its storyline. I know that this headnote and the mandatory disclaimer that is the following paragraph are not allowed to be a part of the storyline, but I still do them into my chapters anyway, if only to avoid being victimized by copyright claim/infringement.
disclamation: I don't own the 'Pokémon' anime in any way, shape, or form. I'm afraid that the ownership rights of that, the manga, and the games are reserved for Satoshi Tajiri and the folks of the Nintendo Gaming Company. yes, I know that the creator of 'Pokémon' has the same name as Ash Ketchum's name in the raw Japanese dub is. I don't even own this fanfiction's own storyline. the storyline for this very fanfiction has been inspired by a tween-friendly Korean cartoon under the series title of 'Flowering Heart'.
Yvonne started crying just thinking about the very thought. Alain took this as the moment to reassure her that everything was going to be alright.
Alain: Don't be fooled by that. Everything your sister, Evangeline, said about you inside your house, I'm very sure she didn't mean even one word of it.
Yvonne's tears started to slow down, but only by a little bit after hearing Alain's explanation.
Yvonne: How do you know that for sure?
Alain: When I first started to travel with Mairin, I would sometimes say and do things I didn't mean, and I hurt her because of it. I just made the effort to apologize for what I said or did, and she would forgive me, anyway. I'm sure that Evangeline was only saying whatever it was that she had said about you in anger, too.
Yvonne: Really? But I ruined her favorite earrings. I even broke them.
Sophie and Cosette came up to them, having heard and listened to the whole thing.
Sophie: Why don't we just get your sister a new pair of earrings, Yvonne?
Cosette: Something special to show that you care enough to try to repair your family bonds with her.
Yvonne: You're right, pretty ladies. But I don't have any money to buy new earrings for my sister.
Professor Sycamore had showed up on the other side of Alain and Yvonne just in time to join in on the conversation between the both of them.
Professor Sycamore: Who ever said anything about 'money' or 'buying the earrings'?
Yvonne: You really think I should make the earrings, myself, sir?
Sophie: People can always buy earrings. It takes true artistic talent to say 'I love you' with homemade earrings.
Cosette: Why not use something really pretty like seashells?
Yvonne: My sister's earrings were stick-on earrings instead of piercings, so that should do just fine.
Sophie: Then, all we would need to get to make the earrings is a sticky substance for the final touch.
Yvonne had easily put the earrings together with help from Sophie and Cosette. Professor Sycamore put the sticky substance on the seashells with the aid of his mini lab. Alain, however, had to make sure to go back to the beach house before he was missed.
Alain: I'll head back to the guest house run by Mairin's aunt and uncle; I mean her mom and dad.
In the midst of it all, however, Yvonne's summer-hat had been blown away by the wind. It had landed in the ocean.
