Shopping with the Cullen ladies is nice. They love getting way too many things.
And they love calling their lovers to ask their opinion. Even better is that the guys love to also call on suggestions.
Lots of love.
"I think he'll like them," Esme had told me about the matching under garments I bought. There was lace on everything.
"You know, I always thought lacy underwear was weird," I told Alex when we reached the school.
"Yeah? So how's it fit?"
"I'm chafing."
"Really?"
"Nah." I closed the door after reaching back and grabbing my bag. "I feel like I have a wedgie though."
"Want me to get it?"
"Not until after you've changed from that thong," I told the vampire following me.
"Come on. I think it looks great."
"You're a guy. Put on some damn underwear, not ass floss." I waved my hand in between Bella and her book, causing the girl to jump slightly. She pulled her headphones out. "Come on Bella! I need your opinion on something."
"Oh, uh alright." She grabbed her things and followed me toward the school.
"I need to know your opinions on thongs."
"What?" Her cheeks pinkened.
"Yeah, thongs. I think it's butt floss and really useless in the general sense outside of...well...anyways...I think it's butt floss on a general basis."
"I don't agree," Alex huffed.
Some people nearby were gossiping behind their hands as though I wouldn't know they were talking about me. You slap the butt of one guy and everyone thinks its the best thing to talk about since sliced bread.
"I'm not really listening to your opinion on this. So what do you think Bella? I'm not asking you to wear one, but I'm curious." I pulled myself up onto the bars near the stairs closer to the school. Alex was leaning back against the bar to stop me sliding down the slanted bar.
I can do it today since I'm wearing pants.
"Oh uhm. I don't really see the point of them. I...I guess I agree with you."
"See?"
"I'm not the one wearing lacy underwear."
"It makes me feel like a classy lady," I told him while fluffing up my hair slightly.
"Yeah sure. Wearing that top completely defeats the point of it."
I laughed and turned my attention back to Bella, who was blushing quite a bit still. "Sorry. It's been an ongoing conversation all morning." She was now glancing over toward the parking lot then the bar beside me again. "I'm not trying to trick you into leaning against the bars again. I swear I'm being completely innocent."
"You slapped Jasper's ass in the parking lot," Alex reminded me.
"Shush."
"You found out from Alice that he likes blue on ladies and you're wearing that really nice blue underwear."
"Shut up." Jasper was passing by us with Alice, the former wearing a smirk and the latter with a large smile. Bella was currently glancing over at the parking lot.
"And your bra has a little bow on the front."
"I swear."
"And I had to convince you out of wearing that cute little skirt!"
I turned and wrapped my arms around his neck while he laughed. He attempted to make it sound like he was choking and it was a sad attempt. Thankfully at that moment a car was skidding in the parking lot.
It hit Bella's monster truck which slid over and hit my own car. My car now has a dent in it due to the barely damaged monster truck.
"Oh my god!" Bella yelled along with tons of other students.
My eyes slid over to the Cullens to see that Edward was watching Bella and I. Just barely I could see him nod and I nodded slightly back at him.
Bella's safe and this keeps a large bulk of her suspicions away from the Cullens.
"I'm going to head inside," I told Bella. "To get Alex away from the blood."
"Yeah." Bella turned her head to glance between the accident and me before seeingly deciding something. "I'll come with you. The smell of blood makes me sick."
"We'll walk you to class."
"You don't have to."
"It's fine." I smiled at her as I jumped down from the bar. "You're a nice girl from what I hear and see. I'd like to be friends."
"Oh uh, yeah. I'd like that."
"If you'd like, you can come sit with us at lunch," Alex told her in a low voice. "I've been hearing your friends talking about you when you're not around...Not that quiet girl I see you near, but the two louder ones."
"Jessica and Lauren?"
"Yeah them. Being the new kid sucks. I bounced around a lot as a kid and it always sucked. It was worse finding friends only to find out they're using me...You seem nice and remind me of Ellie. Even if we didn't always go to the same school, she was always there trying to help people out."
"I guess I can ask the others if they'd be okay with me sitting with someone else today."
"If it's those two who get fussy, I wouldn't really listen to them. Real friends would be fine with someone making more friends." He nudged my shoulder a bit before gesturing with his head toward our right in the hall.
Alice and Jasper were both standing next to my locker acting as though they were just having a normal conversation. Once more Jasper tensed up slightly with Bella's strong scent getting closer to him.
"Hey you two, did you hear?"
"Hear what?"
"Apparently someone skid outside and hit one of the vehicles outside."
"They hit my truck," Bella mumbled slightly. She stood beside Alex while I dug in my locker near Jasper.
"I hope the driver was okay," I told the group.
"I do too. It looked like one of my friends."
I took what I needed out before closing it and leaning back against it. "He shouldn't have been going so fast on ice. I know that Alex normally drives, but even I know you're supposed to be careful when it's cold. The constant wetness would have a chance of freezing." Jasper adjusted his posture slightly so he was slightly touching my arm.
We're busy talking about a serious incident. How am I supposed to keep my common sense if I'm in contact with Adonis.
Alex sighed. "A lot of people don't really slow down during different weather conditions causing accidents."
"I'm glad my dad put chains on my truck just in case this morning," Bella mumbled.
"Emmett helped with Carlisle's," Alice spoke up. She had been moving slightly on her feet so it would look like fidgeting. It put her between her brother and her mate. "And the rest of us helped with the one we drove here."
"We didn't put anything on ours." I glanced up at Alex. "I'm glad you drove carefully today."
"I have precious cargo on board," he told me with a small smile. "I wouldn't risk anything bad happening." He leaned forward and kissed my forehead. "I may have a hard head and be able to survive an accident, but my bestie's not quite as hard headed."
Bella ducked her head slightly but I could see a small smile on her face. "Stop it Alex." I leaned up and kissed his cheek. "But thank you. Now let's walk Bella to class. We'll see you guys at lunch."
Alice nodded her head and while Jasper didn't respond, he moved his arm slightly against mine before moving away from the lockers. Oh hot damn man just stop trying to be all sweet and affectionate in secret.
On the way to her class, Bella spoke more with us, seemingly a little more comfortable around Alex for some reason. Maybe the affection made him seem more approachable.
When lunch time came around, I took my normal spot against Alex. He was grinning over my head at Jasper while I ate my lunch when Bella finally arrived.
"Hey, did your friends have any issues with you sitting with us?" I asked through my mouthful of salad.
"Not really."
Alex snorted as he stole my fork. "That's a lie. I can see your two friends glaring from here."
"Angela was okay with it," she responded as she looked between her friends and us. I smiled as I gestured for her to sit wherever before elbowing my best friend.
He huffed but allowed me to have my fork back. "She seems like a good friend. I wouldn't mind her sitting with us. The other two I'm against."
"You're against me."
"I'm going to throw my salad in your face Alex, I swear." I ate another bite as I glanced at Bella's friends. "And that guy your friend is talking to. He can join as well. The rest are to stay away...No offence."
Bella nodded and ate some of her food. During this time I had a very strange attraction to my salad and let out a little noise of appreciation to the food.
Alex tried to hide his snort in his free hand and Bella's face darkened. I just turned my head to look over at the Cullen's table.
"One word and I swear..."
"I wasn't going to say anything," Emmett denied with a large grin. His blond brother was watching me with a blank face but eyes that were way too bright. He has too much fun at my expense.
That's the hate thing that stops me from dropping my pants...Wait.
"Shit," I groaned before turning back to my food and eating again.
"Is something wrong?" Bella asked.
"Yeah, I'm wearing pants today."
"What's wrong with that?"
"Everything." Alex moved his arms away from me and curled his arms on the table and rested his head in it...His shaking shoulders gave away his laughter. "Who needs dignity?"
"Not you," Alex's echoed voice sounded from his little nest.
"I told you that you need to let me wear skirts more. Can't drop those."
Bella finally caught on to what I meant and it was obvious by the darkened cheeks. Emmett snorted from the other table and I ignored him to glance back at Jasper. I felt the affection sent to me along with some humor, causing me to snort.
"How can you say those things?" Bella whispered. "He's right there."
"I can say it louder so he can hear."
"Please don't. Everyone's still talking about what you did."
I grinned at her. "Live a little Bella. I'm not talking about turning into Alex, but have a little bit of fun." She was still looking at me when I turned my head to make it obvious that I was looking at Jasper. "After all, I wouldn't just drop my pants for anyone."
"I feel honored darlin'," he replied with a small grin.
"Oh god," Bella groaned as she hid her face in her hands.
"First smacking his ass then telling him in public you'd drop your pants for him," Alex told me. His head wasn't tucked into his arms but resting on top now. "How low you've fallen?"
"I can go lower if needbe," I told him with a bright grin.
His contacts need to be replaced.
Alex nodded his head almost immediately after; closing his eyes and leaning his head to the side as though he were relaxing. "How vulgar my flower."
"You've heard worse." I was about to take another bite of food but Bella had stopped eating. "Bella? Are you alright?"
"Yeah," she mumbled so low that I barely heard. I'm almost positive she was the aggressive one in the series with sex...I think.
Edward made a noise behind me that I pointedly ignored. His fault for not trying to tune out my thoughts. "Oh by the way, have you met the Cullens?" I used my fork to point toward said group of vampires. "Officially I mean. Like with names and everything."
"I share a table with Edward." She glanced toward said vampire before looking back toward me.
"Oh. Let me then." I turned in my seat to gesture toward each Cullen as I introduced them. "Shortie is Alice. You know that Alex has a crush on her."
"Ellie!" he groaned.
"And her sister, who I'm pretty sure is a model, is Rosalie." Rosalie seemed to grin slightly at that. Whether it was a malicious smile or happy due to the compliment is to be determined. "The guy who looks like he could use us as weights is Emmett. Out of the Cullens he's my favorite."
"Thanks!"
I flashed him a smile before gesturing at Jasper. "That one who's gonna get me in trouble with the police is Jasper."
"With the police?" Bella asked.
"That voice should be illegal Bella. Pretty sure the cops will arrest me because of it one day."
"Her dad's a cop," Alex reminded me.
"Huh, that's going to be real awkward then...Bail me out please Bella?"
Her wide eyes took in everything before she nodded slightly. "Sure?"
"And you've already met Edward and know him probably more than me."
"Yeah." She nodded in response to that.
I smiled at the Cullens before turning to my food. "And that's the Cullens. The supposed untouchables everyone here seems to think they are."
"You're going to break that rule so hard," Alex made sure to point out to me while nudging my food closer to me. "And don't fling your food around."
"I did not. That'd be wasting perfectly good food." I kicked his food under the table. "You waste more food than me. But you're also not wrong." He kicked me back and I pushed my bag toward him.
"I'm gonna head to the bathroom," he told Bella and I as he stood up, his hand tucked into his pocket.
"I'll meet you soon then."
"Bring my bag?"
"Sure." When he was gone I turned back toward Bella. "So, let's talk about him while he's not around."
"I thought he was your best friend." She took another bite of her food but still watched me.
"He is, but he slapped my ass while I was taking a shower." I took another bite of my food. "So in retaliation, I'm telling you that he's wearing a thong." She almost choked on her food. "Please don't die. Someone might blame me."
