The following sessions of practice, Ukai Coach had instructed Yachi and Kiyoko to help the team with some of their individual training. Since they had more individual training, some members had to practice in the other gymnasium so they don't distract and get in the way of each other.

Since Yachi was instructed to help Kageyama with his new setting skills, she was told to prepare several empty bottles and place them a few feet away from each bottles before the net. This would serve as a way to mark the other player's position and Kageyama had to practice setting to the bottles in accurately.

Since Yachi got used in tossing the balls for the members, she accompanied Kageyama's individual practice for longer time in different practice for many days. Even though she knew Kageyama for some time now, she is still not used to seeing his reactions when he gets pissed or annoyed every time he fails to set the balls accurately to the bottles.

"Um, Kageyama-kun. Would you like me to toss the ball to you higher?" She asked him when he gritted his teeth after he tried to set to the furthest bottle behind him.

Kageyama instantly changed his expression once he heard her question and shook his head, "It's not the matter of your passes to me, Yachi-san. In actual matches, I have to get used to the balls passing to me and set it directly to spiker." Kageyama replied but as he looked at the bottles still standing perfectly in line he frowns, "I still can't get used to this yet but I need to get better before the next training camp in Tokyo."

Yachi hums as she looked to the bottles and Kageyama, "Like Ukai Coach said previously, your goal is to set the ball after being passed to you and make them stop momentarily to a specific spot, right?"

Kageyama nodded as he grabbed his water bottle and drank it. "That's basically it, yeah."

"It sound difficult." Yachi hums as she looks at the bottles. To make a ball stop by itself after you touch it sounded impossible to her. Was it even scientifically possible? Yachi couldn't help but think of this.

"Coach said that this can be a game changer to how I set the balls in the future but yes…I agree that it is difficult." Kageyama voiced with a tired expression as he drank his water bottle in one go.

Then by this time, Kinoshita and Narita came towards them. "They're closing this gym soon, you both should start cleaning up by now." Kinoshita stated.

Yachi perked up at this as she looked to the clock and widened her eyes, "It's already this late? Oh no - we have to start cleaning up right away, Kageyama-kun. Ah, senpai – I'll start with the balls first."

Kinoshita nodded as he pointed to the volleyball cart on the side of the court. "I'll help you with that, Yachi-chan." He looked back to Kagayama again who was furrowing his eyebrows as he looked towards the bottles on the floor, "I know you want to practice more, Kageyama but we need to get home soon."

"Daichi-san is getting stricter with the time these days, let's clean up before he stomps his way here." Narita spoke with a smile in his words.

Even though he wanted to practice some more, Kageyama knew that there are limits to training hours so he obediently followed the second years' orders as he cleans up the place.

It didn't take a long time to clean up the place since they were all helping each other. As soon as Kageyama and Yachi got out of the gym, the second years told them to be careful on their way home and left the two first years behind as they went back first.

Yachi and Kageyama eventually started walking together from the gym, only realizing that the other gym was already closed and no one was around besides them on the school grounds. It was really getting late.

Kageyama then looked to Yachi momentarily, before he spoke up as they passed by the school gates. "Do you…do you want me to walk you back home?"

Yachi glanced back to Kageyama and shook her head, "You don't need to walk me back home. Besides, your house is on the other way, isn't it?"

Not wanting to let her walk on her own in the current time around school, Kageyama piped up, "Well, at least I can walk to you to the bus stop, if that is alright with you."

Yachi nodded. Since Hinata and Yamaguchi sometimes accompany her to the bus stop as well when they walk her back home before, she accepted his offer. "Okay. Thank you, Kageyama-kun." She brightly smiled at him.

"Hn." Kageyama merely grunted in reply, ignoring the way his cheeks slightly felt warm after he sees the bubbly smile on her face.

Since they were together at this moment, Kageyama thought it would be nice if they spend more time together like this on their own. He rarely gets the chance to be with Yachi by himself. Even though he isn't sure why he finds it comfortable to be around with Yachi when they were together, he just likes the feeling of being beside her even when they didn't have to talk much to each other.

'What is it? Does this feeling have a name? Wait – why am I thinking so hard about this?' Kageyama's thoughts races inside his mind.

On the other hand, Yachi was used to Kageyama's silence and walked with idle thoughts in her mind as she thinks about other things. Since the school term is going to end soon, she finds herself getting busier as the time passes by.

With her managerial duties and her studies, Yachi is quite surprised that she was able to manage her high school activities in check without her faltering in anxiousness every few moments. Well – she does acknowledge that she used to be extra anxious and nervous about everything but – she was also surprised how she was able to settle into her high school life comfortably.

Speaking of the end of term, she needs to make sure that Kageyama and Hinata are doing their studies well. If not, they'll have to repeat the same incident in failing their tests and not being able to join the team to go to Tokyo training camp from the beginning.

"Kageyama-kun, since the end of the term is nearing – do you need any help with studying again?" Yachi asks gently, breaking the silence between them.

"Ah – " Kageyama broke out of his reverie and looked towards Yachi, "We'll have a final exams week before the training camp too, huh?"

"Exactly. We can't have you out of the training camp, so if you need any help with studying – feel free to ask me anytime you want. I'm always free during lunch time so you can study with me during those hours." Yachi offered.

"Yeah…I'd like that. Thank you, Yachi-chan. But if you feel like it's a burden, I can ask someone else."

"No, it's fine, Kageyama-kun. You are never a burden, besides….I want you to do your best for the training camp in Tokyo too so we can't have you miss the first day like last time."

Kageyama felt a little happy by that, the edge of his lips quirked into a small smile. "Right. I'll do my best then."

He seriously can't think of any reasons to why he likes seeing her smile so much when it's directed only to him. Too bad he can't see more of it tonight since they arrived at the bus stop and Yachi took the arriving bus right away and waved goodbye to Kageyama.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Kageyama-kun."

"See you tomorrow, Yachi-san."

He didn't turn around right away as he watches the bus drove away from him. Kageyama shifted the strap of his bag on his shoulder before he grips his chest for a moment, wondering why his chest felt so warm and content.

It was an unfamiliar feeling but at the same time, he indulged in it a for bit longer.

Yachi had to run for another errand to the store to buy more things for the volleyball team. She didn't notice how much they had to get more supplies like tapes and some first aid kits since they were running out of it quicker than expected.

She had the chance to buy those things in an off-practice day after school so she can be prepared for the next practice. After taking some notes on what to buy from Kiyoko, Yachi heads to the regular supermarket to buy them.

Luckily, she was able to purchase them all without any obstacles. It was time for her to go back home and relax.

She decided to buy an ice pop on the way home and eats them as she walks back. Since she doesn't have any homework to do tonight, so she really felt like she was able to finally relax from her busy schedule.

However, her momentary peace was suddenly stopped when she felt a hard bump from the left side, causing her to stagger on her feet before she falls to the ground.

The bags and her ice pop were thrown away from her hands when she got crashed by the other person. Yachi yelped loudly when she falls abruptly to the ground and winced in pain. She curses in her mind, just how many times must she bumps into people like this?!

"H-hey, watch where you're going!" A high pitched voice yelled at her harshly as Yachi looked up from the ground.

Yachi frowns deeply, she was just minding her own business and not bumping into people on the way – why did she suddenly get pushed by this person. Yachi realized that she was suddenly surrounded by several girls standing in groups, looking at her with annoyed expressions before they ignore her.

As much as irritated Yachi felt, she apologized in reflex when she looked at the girl who crashed into her looking down on Yachi with an angry expression.

"Sorry." Yachi said as she winced in pain when she gets up from the ground, picking up all of her groceries that were thrown out of the plastic bags she carried earlier.

"Look, it's Oikawa-kun!" Another person suddenly screamed near Yachi and suddenly all of the girls around her started to scream altogether and ran towards wherever they were going.

Unfortunately, some of the girls dared to step on Yachi's plastic bags and she also felt that someone had pushed her back, making Yachi faltered and fall to the ground again.

Yachi was angry by this point as she looked up and saw the girls ran to the other side of the street and surrounded someone else, their voices shouts and cries in admiration for this said 'Oikawa-kun'.

'Let's just get this all and go back home safely, Hitoka', Yachi thought to herself as she picks up the fallen groceries.

While she looks down to pick up the groceries from the ground, there were other hands that reached out and pick them up as well in front of her. Yachi was so shocked by the new hands and she instantly looked up to see who it was.

The two of them were wearing the familiar jersey uniform and Yachi recognizes that they were from Aoba Johsai volleyball team. Suddenly she felt a little cold from some reason with this revelation but she gulped down her nervousness and pick up all of her things without staring at them too long.

One of them spoke up, "I saw what happened from the distance. They shouldn't have done that to you. Are you hurt?" He had black hair parted into two sides in the middle. The first thing that Yachi noticed about his features was his eyes, since they looked quite cat-like to her.

"I-I'm alright. Sorry for the trouble." Yachi replied instantly.

They managed to put all of things inside the bags properly. The other boy with dark straight up hair handed her the bags as he frowns, "I'm sorry for what happened. Oikawa-san's fans can be quite aggressive. I'll make sure to report this to him."

Yachi was a little bit surprised that he was as tall as Tsukishima, towering over her height. "O-oh, r-right." She replied in return, "Th-thank you."

Yachi picked up the fallen ice pop from the ground and threw it to the garbage bin nearby. She frowns as she threw it away. There goes her relaxing after school hours, wasted away unluckily.

She looks back to where the girls were crowding over Oikawa-san. Now she understood that they were admirers of the infamous third year setter of Aoba Johsai and they probably wanted to meet him hurriedly. Still, it didn't feel good when she got knocked over and yelled at instead.

Yachi's mood felt dejected and bitter. She turned back to the boys and bowed towards them. "Thank you for your help."

"Would you like a new ice pop? There's an ice vending machine nearby." The spiked up haired boy said, feeling a little bad for Yachi whose ice pop was thrown away to the ground from the previous crash.

Yachi's eyes widened and instantly shake her head, "You don't need to – um, I'll just get back home."

"Still…we feel bad for what happened." The taller boy insisted.

"No, please don't mind. Things like this can happen sometimes." Yachi replied with a tired smile, she knew that they probably felt partially responsible because Oikawa was their senior and it couldn't be helped that his fans were a bit rude.

The other boy then took something out of his bag and handed a lollipop towards Yachi, "You can take this. It's not much as the ice pop though."

Rejecting it when it's already offered out like that would be considered rude so Yachi accepted the lollipop from the boy timidly.

Grape flavor, it was one of her favorites. Yachi looked up and smiled softly at both of them. "Thank you. I'll get going now, pardon me." She bows to them before she leaves.

The boys returned Yachi's bow with their own and watched as she walks away from them.

"Kunimi…we should probably tell Iwaizumi-senpai about this."

Kunimi sighed as he looked back to the group of fangirls crowding Oikawa, "This is probably not the first time his fangirls did something like this, Kindaichi."

"Still…we should tell. I feel bad for her. What if his fangirls really hurt another bystander like earlier?"

"Alright. We'll talk to him."

Author's Notes:

Hello everyone! Thank you for reading this chapter!

Phew - I've been super busy and hectic lately that I was looking forward to posting the new chapters here. It's almost time for the second week of Tokyo training camp and I'm very excited for that. As for now, Yachi needs to help her team members with some individual training. That's why we have lots of blueberry boy interacting with Yachi for the moment haha. (He's so oblivious, it's hurting me lol).

Also Kunimi and Kindaichi finally debuts in this story haha. I'd like Yachi to interact with more of Seijoh team so I have the two first years meet Yachi for the first time. Nothing big really happened this time but Yachi managed to get pushed again :( I feel kind of bad for hurting Yachi like this in many occasions haha but I'm not creative enough hehe.

I can't promise that I can upload the next updates next week but I hope these two updated chapters will do. Since it's going to be summer vacation, I have several things planned out but I'd like to know what you guys think what they're going to do during this time.

That's all for now. Sorry for the short chapters but I hope you all enjoyed it. Thank you once again for reading this story! I'll see you in the next time and please please please take care and be careful!
