"Damn wolf doesn't know how to stay away." Inuyasha grumbled, preparing to end the wolf's life once and for all. "It would seem you are going to meet Koga of the Wolf Tribe."
Koga of the Wolf tribe? "Wolf tribe?!" Lucy squeaked, shooting to her feet. "Kagome you're an even bigger furry than I thought!"

Kagome's face was a bright red staring at the girl embarrassed. She couldn't believe Lucy just called her a furry! There was a teasing smile on the older girl's face, it was clear that no one else in this group knew what she meant but still! Kagome was not a furry!

"Lucy!"

The older girl giggled like it was the funniest joke in the world "Sorry, sorry." she held her hands up in peace though her giggling wouldn't stop. "Lady Lucy what is a...what is a furry?" Her giggles grew louder at Miroku's innocent question "Well Miroku I'm glad you asked, it's when..."

"Shut up!" Kagome squeaked, chasing after Lucy in an attempt to quiet her cousin. She didn't want anyone to find out what that meant, Inuyasha almost forgot that Koga was on his way, he was too busy watching Kagome chasing after his friend. What was so wrong with the word furry that made her act so strange. In the end Lucy ended up easily catching the girl picking her up, feeling her legs wrap around her waist as two hands covered the girls mouth.

Girls were weird, and Lucy didn't help. She brought the strangeness out of Kagome.
A large dust tornado appeared, something Lucy wasn't used to while the others were. Beside Inuyasha and Lucy the group had a content smile. "Kagome," A handsome male appeared out of the tornado dressed in fur, aromor, and was that a tail? He sounded so happy when he saw her, though his confusion spiked when he saw Kagome in her predicament.

Irritation irked his soul seeing his woman in the arms of someone else. It didn't help that their position was quite intimate. Who the hell was this bitch. Koga easily ducked out of the way from Inuyasha's swing of a sword, Koga sent a kick to the Inuyasha's face sending him flying backwards.

"Oh shit." Lucy's muffled words could be heard throughout the group. "Can I get down now?" After removing her hands from her cousin's face Kagome felt her feet return to the ground, where she quickly fixed her skirt. The young teen let out a string of giggles watching Lucy bend to the side staring at Koga confused.

The wolf demon quickly threw Kagome behind him protectively as he sent a snarl towards the amused girl. "Stay back Kagome!" The demon growled pointing a weapon in her face. Lucy crossed her arms over her chest sizing the demon up and down.

"Boy you better put that away if you wanna get anywhere close to an intimate relationship with my precious baby cousin." she growled herself glaring down at the wolf, well technically up since he was taller than her by a few inches but she needed him to know she was in charge. "Now fuck face!" Inuyasha snickered where he stood making his way towards his friend.

Koga was completely surprised, no woman had ever spoken to him in such a way. Sure Kagome had yelled at him a few times but she was usually polite and never spoke so vulgar towards him. "Lucy! Don't curse around Shippo!"

"Inuyasha says worse things on a daily basis!" Lucy pointed to the white haired male. "No cursing! There is no excuse!"

"But Kagome! He's threatening me and thinks he can man handle you! I'm the only one who can manhandle you!" Kagome smacked her head, annoyed at her older cousin. Sometimes Lucy acted more like a child than an adult. She was supposed to set an example for her son but she was so childish sometimes. "You are such a pain."

"Of course I am, it's my job to annoy you."

Miroku and Sango shook their heads at the two. "Please excuse Lady Lucy, Koga, she is quite protective of Kagome." Koga watched the girl poke his woman and demanded that she tell her more about him. "Yo Miroku! How many times do I gotta tell you to stop calling me Lady, I'm nowhere close to being a proper lady."

Miroku blushed a small bit as lude thoughts entered his mind. "Get your mind out of the gutter! We both know you couldn't handle me." Smirking to herself Lucy sent a wink towards Miroku watching the lecherous smile spread across his face. "Why Lucy if only you'd ask sooner I could prove you wrong."

Snickering Lucy shook her head amused with the Monk. He was one of her favorites of Kagome's friends. Looking back towards her best friend she noticed that Inuyasha looked angry, annoyed, hungry? "Now back to the subject at hand...who the hell do you think you are to manhandle my Kagome."

Koga felt a chill run down his spine, it was the same angry energy Kagome would give off towards Inuyasha. There was no denying that the two looked similar. This Lucy character shared similar features to his Kagome, they had the same eyes, facial structures. They almost looked like siblings.

While Kagome had a tiny waist this Lucy woman didn't have the curve like Kagome. It was more triangular, her chest was larger than his Kagome's. They looked like it might spill from his hand if he were to grasp them. She wore these muddy black cloth fitting her like a second skin showing off her well toned legs.

Raising his eyes back towards her arms he noted that unlike Kagome her arms were muscular, as if she had been training every day like a male soldier. Kagome's arms were delicate, fragile, yet he knew not to judge her by her looks regarding her strength. Kagome packed a hell of a smack. Not only that but this Lucy character's voice was much different than his Kagome's. It sounded like she wasn't used to speaking at times.

Koga opened his mouth to speak but wasn't able to answer, his packmates Ginta and Hakkaku as well as a few of his wolves came running over calling his name "Koga!" frowning Koga turned to face his packmates. They looked done for, needing rest. The wolves were no better, collapsing to the ground, mouths open panting harshly.

"Oh my god look at the puppies." Lucy's dark mood left like a switch and she watched his wolves pant on the ground. "They aren't puppies." Koga growled clenching his fist at the insult "Yeah, yeah whatever look at those pawsies!" she squealed falling to her knees a holding her hands over her mouth excitedly.

The wolves stared at her confused in their tired state, briefly glancing up at their packmaster before staring back at the girl. "Luce they're wolves, you can't just treat them like common pet," Kagome sighed shaking her head again.

"But come on! They're so cute with their fluffy faces! They need cuddles!" Koga couldn't believe what he was hearing. This woman was treating his wolves like a pack of useless mutts. "You're really weird Lucy." Inuyasha rolled his golden eyes at her gushing figure. His sword back in place knowing he could not shed any blood today.

There would be no fight with Koga. Unless he tries something with Kagome! "Does it matter? The wolves by my home are always adorable, we used to have a wolf dog for a while. He was the best!" she smiled fondly missing the creatures. Looking up at the confused males Lucy realized that they probably weren't used to the idea of humans and wolves coexisting. Letting out a small laugh Lucy looked away from the group rubbing the back of her neck. "You had a wolf dog?" Kagome asked, shocked.

Blinking confused Lucy cocked her head to the side "Yeah, Shadow. You know the one that was completely black when he was a puppy. He grew tufts of white fur in random splotches." Kagome nodded her head just now remembering the dog from years ago. Lucy would never stop talking about him when he was alive.

"Are you guys thirsty?" the two other males smiled nodding their heads thankful. Kagome and Sango gave the males their waters watching them guzzle it down till there was nothing left in the canteen.

Both Ginta and Hakkaku couldn't take their eyes off the new woman of the group. She was different from Lady Kagome and Lady Sango. She even had this scent to her that was just heavenly. Almost as if she had been rolling around in a field of raspberries. Their mouths watered at the thought of tasting her.

Lucy felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up, the two new demons wouldn't stop staring at her, it was starting to freak her out "Uh...Kagome?" She called in English knowing fully well no one in this group would know what she was saying besides Kagome. "Why are you talking in English?"

Glancing at her younger cousin the girls ignored all the confused looks on the group's faces. "Who are they and why are they staring at me like that?" Kagome looked towards Ginta and Hakkaku. Her jaw dropped staring at the two, they looked love stricken. "They're smitten with you!"

"Who even are they?!"

A large dark red blush easily engulfed Lucy's face looking at her cousin to repeat herself, Kagome couldn't help giggling at the scene. Her older cousin looked so flustered and it was amazing. Lucy tried to speak only, she couldn't. Boys didn't like her like that, especially after they first met her. Even more since she started traveling with Kagome.

"Lucy, this is Ginta and Hakkaku they travel with Koga in search of the shards." Kagome introduced giggling at her expression. "Guys this is my cousin Lucy," the two males rushed forward to grasp her hands making her blush worsen.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Lucy." They spoke simultaneously, glared at one another, then moved back to stare at the woman.
Koga and Inuyasha stared at the two wolf demons completely flabbergasted at what just happened. Ginta and Hakkaku have never acted this way in the past, they never had reason to. "Hey!" Koga yelled, glaring at his two friends and they almost ignored him. Almost.

Turning around, hands still clasped around Lucy's, you could see the irritation in their eyes. "Let her go damn it." Inuyasha growled, clenching his hands to fists. He didn't want this wolf scum touching his best friend. "What are you two even doing? You just met her." Koga grumbled, shaking his head, arms crossed over his chest. He still didn't like her, but he would play nice for Kagome.

"You set your claim on Lady Kagome only after a day with her." Ginta called, throwing his statement back in their leaders' faces. Koga yelped, feeling as if a large arrow had dug right into his head when all eyes were now on him. "You've been trying to mate with Lady Kagome for years now." Each statement made Koga go further into the ground. Some friends they are.

"Mate?" Lucy called, gaining the males attention again, they both nodded "Most Demons have mates." Ginta explained giving her a loving look leaning closer towards her face. "They're life long partners." Hakkaku finished.

The gears started to turn in her head before it all clicked. "YOU WANT TO MARRY MY BABY COUSIN!?" she screamed, ripping her hands free from the males grips. Both Ginta and Hakkaku cringed, their sensitive ears ringing. "She sure has a set of pipes on her," Hakkaku murmured towards Ginta who could only agree. Glancing at one another again they grinned flashing the other a fang.

Kagome flushed a bright red. Lucy's eyes were wide with murderous intent, sending shivers down Inuyasha's spine. He watched her storm around the two wolf demons growling at Koga. He was glad her anger was directed towards the wolf and not him for once, though a small, very small, almost microscopic part of him felt bad for the wolf. Though there was no way in hell he would stick up for Koga.

"She's sixteen!" Lucy snarled storming straight up to Koga, the male in question backed away nervously. He could feel the anger radiating off her in waves. The scary Aura that wrapped around her being was worse than Kagome's! "What makes you think she's even allowed! She's a child you bastard! How old are you anyway?"

Koga wasn't sure how to answer that there was a difference between Human years and Demon years. In Demon years he was far older than the girl but in humans he was roughly the same age as the Monk. Sango was quick to grab the angry woman's arm trying to guide her away "Lucy, mating doesn't always mean marriage," she tried to explain with a worried expression on her face.
"It better not mean fucking or I swear..."

"Lucy! Don't curse around Shippo!" Kagome hissed, throwing her hands over Shippo's ears. Lucy didn't even pay attention to her cousin, she was watching Sango ready to beat up a wolf demon depending on her answer.

When Sango didn't finish with the faint red blush forming across her cheeks Lucy knew her answer.

"Oh hell no!" she snapped glaring at Koga, ready to kick his furry skirt wearing ass. "First you manhandle my precious baby cousin, now I find out you're trying to sleep with her?! My innocent cousin!" Sango frowned, realizing she made the situation much worse.

"I'm not innocent Lucy..." Miroku and Sango stared at Kagome wanting her to continue, had they been wrong? Had Inuyasha made his claim and the two of them are officially married?

Lucy sent the girl a glare "I'll get back to you later. You!" she pointed towards Koga growling loudly at the male. Koga jumped back a few steps staring at the girl. He shouldn't be feeling this way towards her, he was ten times stronger than her and could easily overpower her but this dark feeling in his gut told him not to provoke her.

"My intentions with Kagome are genuine, I would like to share the rest of our lives together." he called glancing at his companions. They were staring at her body, the curve of her hips, the way her slender neck was on full display, showing off a marking on the base of her neck, they weren't sure what it was but it was a symbol of some kind.

Crossing her arms over her chest Lucy glared clenching her fingers in the fabric of her purple top. "While I have no say in what Kagome decides on who she will be with." Kagome smiled to herself glad that Lucy trusted her. "I don't trust you, you've caused problems for her in the past with that one." she nodded to Inuyasha.

"Hey!"

"Shut up Yasha," she smirked at his irritated bark. "If you wish to be with my Kagome you can't manhandle her. You let her start the relationship off, you will not push her, you won't hurt her, and you definitely will not make her feel uncomfortable." She looked towards both males. "Understood."

Inuyasha nodded looking at Kagome giving her a small smile. It was obvious to anyone that he loved her. When Kagome looked towards Inuyasha a blush appeared across her face, Kagome felt lucky to have her cousin. She had her back and trusted her judgment. Her stomach turned thinking back to whenever she was jealous of Lucy.

"Of course," Koga called hands held in the air, he meant no ill intentions. Lucy nodded and then faced Inuyasha, he knew her weird behaviors very well and nodded his head. "Good," Koga watched the hostility leave her completely and a small smile grace her face. "Then we're good." Ginta and Hakkaku made their way beside the girl wanting to be in her presence more than anything.

They couldn't understand this pull. She just smelled so delectable, nothing like Lady Sango or Miss Kagome. "So is there any reason you're over this way? Or was it just pure coincidence? Also if you're the leader of your tribe why aren't you at your den? Who's in charge?" Koga felt like he just got knocked over with a branch by her complete 180. She almost seemed nice!

"Uhh..." Inuyasha rolled his eyes, walking towards Lucy and growling at the two males beside her. He wasn't going to let those wolf scum rub their scent all over her. He might not have felt any romantic feelings toward the girl but he still was protective of her. She was his human after all. Practically a sister at this point.
Yanking Lucy away from the demons he sent a glare their way before marching them on the other side of the fire. Ginta and Hakaku pouted, having lost the lovely scent.

"It's a long story, Lucy." Nodding her head she glanced at how stiff Koga had been. Hands clenched to fists, glaring hatefully into the fire. 'This Naraku dude really likes to get around,' Shaking her head she stared into the fire. "Eh just forget I asked anything."

'I've been pretty lucky I haven't had to encounter Naraku yet but I know I won't be much longer till I do. I won't let him get away with hurting my friends.'

It had been only a few days since the group had last seen Koga, Lucy had quickly noticed Kagome becoming depressed again at being ignored. Lucy opted to pull out her book and read again ignoring everyone around her. Relying heavily on Sango or Miroku who would have to pull her in another direction to stop Lucy from bumping into a random traveler or tripping over a rock,
Shippo had perched himself on Lucy's shoulder watching her stare into the pages of one of the four books she brought. He couldn't understand anything on the page but he wanted to understand why she liked them so much. "Lucy?"

Letting out a soft hum of acknowledgement Lucy never took her eyes off the page. "Can you read to me?" nodding her head Lucy grinned staring up at her nephew. She did the best she could translating from english to japanese though there were times she got stuck and ended up making a word up.

"Whats this marking on your neck?" Shippo interrupted her; dragging one of his tiny sharp claws across the back of her neck. "It's a protection Rune, I got this back a few years ago."
Shippo leaned forward to stare at the symbol. "Does it work?" shrugging her shoulders Lucy couldn't help but giggle. "Only if you believe it does. I have a few more tattoos but they're all hidden."

"Why're you hiding them?"

Kagome looked behind her and shook her head "Well back in our time its sort of acceptable to have tattoos, well back in America. I think Japan is still in the dark ages regarding that." Kagome rolled her eyes "We are not. It's just where Lucy's from, it's more acceptable."

Sticking her tongue out at her baby cousin Lucy couldn't help but smile. It wasn't often where everyone felt so relaxed. Perhaps they'd find a jewel shard easily, maybe they might find an inn for the night and Miroku can work his magic to get them a free room.

Who knows.

The unknown male watched from a distance as the group of six walked on laughing to themselves. "Seems like inuyasha's got a new pack member."

At the mention of Inuyasha's name a bubbly black haired beauty squealed getting excited "Shall we pay them a visit?" The doctor spoke staring at his leader. "Let them come to us, who knows maybe this new girl will be entertaining."
In another section of Japan, somewhere more secluded and sacred Naraku sat listening to his Saimyosho. "You don't say," watching the insect move up and down as if saying 'yes' Naraku chuckled ideas forming in his brain. "We'll have to meet her soon, won't we?"
