(Empire)
Jace hummed before he cracked his fingers. he stared at Leone who seemed to be questioning what to do.
The sleeping woman had been a thorn in his side before it came don't to it. He laid down on the sofa before he sighed, running his hands together for the time being. She had been a lot more curious as of the time being.
Still? She had been a lot more of a curious issue within the plan he had created before now. it had been a lot odder to see her this vulnerable before all of this was said and done.
She was an odd woman. One who had been one of the empire's most elite threats before now. She had torn through soldiers like they were paper, cutting them all down before it could be done for the time being.
Still? if she was so damn dangerous as of now? it had been funny a handful of gunshots had almost killed her. One of the most dangerous agents of the time was when this move seemed to come down to it.
He questioned what to do next. This woman would be one of the strongest weapons to fight the rest of the enemy… One last war. One last hunt. It'd be a lot more to question before. There was to say do second before now. This had been a hard road for the time before he questioned before he hummed before he knew that fact.
There was more to question as of the second before it came down to it…. He knew more than she just how insane this would turn out to be if he was honest… And he hoped that it was more than enough…. It'd need to be more than enough.
He plopped himself down to the woman who had been one of the best rebels in the world. Someone who was repaid for ridding the world of human garbage by being condemned as a worthless criminal who had no place in the world. He had been a lot more to question before she seemed to tilt before
It made him roll his eyes. Night Raid might have been criminals to the rest of the world, but to the rebels, they were some of the best soldiers who had brought down the world's worst evil and would be remembered for it.
He pushed her foot away from him. the woman had grown almost as large as an entire sofa. He had been a lot more curious as of now. This was a lot more interesting than now. then again? Not dealing with her insane antics was just as good a prize as any. He had been a lot more interested now. It wasn't the oddest thing, but it was more than what he had been used to before now. Jace took a seat and ran a hand across his temples as he questioned what to do next. It needed to end before something terrible for now. He had been a warrior for now.
Whatever this came next had been something odd before this came down to it. He knew for now at the time that he'd need to leave many of those questions and would need to remain alone for the time being. He couldn't answer them for now nor could he afford to stop them.
He looked at Leone who had been asleep for a while. It almost made him curious before now. He rubbed at his brows, all too interested in what came next. She'd awaken at some time and he'd need to deal with this woman for now. It had been something that made him laugh for now. There were so many small little details that hadn't yet questioned for now what to do next.
Leone let out a snore which made him roll his eyes as he tilted his head to the side. It made him snort and roll his eyes to himself.
This had been a lot more to question before now. It had been something honestly odd and amusing to him and he couldn't fathom just stepping down from this before now. It had been something amusing for far too long
"This had been a lot weirder compared to now, isn't it?" Jace questioned before he sighed to himself once again at the second.
He knew more and seemed to tilt his head. He remained at an impasse either way when this had been done and dusted. It had to be so this would stop before now. Whatever came next would be an odd little thing when all was shown to be revealed. It had been oh so much of an odd little thing for now.
He took a seat on the opposite end of the sofa from her as the larger human seemed to yawn and fall to the side, her bulk being far larger than it seemed as if he had been thrown off more and more by this sooner or later.
He felt a weight on his side as she collapsed into him. her weight pressing him into the side of him. it made him snort as he tried and failed to push her off him. Even when it amounted to nothing this woman had to be a weight on my side.
It had been something odd for now despite himself. The sheer amusement seemed to be palpable on his face as he turned around. It had been an odd little thing. A very humorous little part of life that he couldn't control.
He sighed as the large woman let out a snort that rang in his ears. It made him sigh as he seemed to hum, curious as to what she could do. She was powerful. He'd not lie about that and he knew it. There was a lot more to her power… A lot more she could control when it came down to it. There was oh so much more he could stand up to her at the end of the day.
Still? He could not help but laugh. It was a very funny thing to him; it made him laugh despite himself… Oh did it make him laugh to know he had one of the women who had killed the most dangerous and corrupt people in the city? It made him laugh despite every single little thing at the end of the day. Oh, did it hurt more than it had been before?
What came next when this was all and done before now? He was a warrior and she was a little fish when it was all said and done… Still? there was oh so much to handle at the end of the road. This woman had been an odd point in his life despite being a lot older than he could have been something odd for now and he knew it. It was going to be odder for him. He had to be a for now. It had been something cool for now. It had been a fun little point of life when he considered it and he knew that for all of this when it came down to it.
Whatever was going to be an odd little more to seem to come down to this. Whatever came down to happen for this as of the question? There was more to this problem than it had been for now. What little this had been having seemed to calm him down for now. It had been weird for now as of now when it seemed for it came down to it.
He sighed while he questioned what could happen next. It seemed as if there would be something of a wild card at the end of the day. It wasn't exactly as if he was so gung-ho on falling through with it. The idea had just been there for a while despite his best efforts to chase it.
He ran his hands through his hair, all too curious as to how best to handle this little problem. It wasn't as if they had more to do today. It had been all too much of a problem for now, all too thrown.
It seemed to be a lot more to handle for now it was an odd little thing for him to do now. He had been bored for now despite what came next.
She snorted and leaned further into his side touch he hummed to question before now. It was a lot more of a funny thing as she leaned on his side, curious for now. Yet? He said nothing, all too thrown off by this. It wasn't as if there was amusement with this for now or anything he couldn't laugh off, he was enjoying this as of now.
He tried to push the large woman to the side, all too thrown off by her for even a second. He failed and she slumped further against his side, all too curious for it seemed to question for now.
He tilted his head before he looked to the ground. He was tired. He looked over at her while he tilted his head and looked to the ground. Jace smiled and poked her side while he questioned what to do next. This was going to be a problem either way.
She snorted, warm air rushing down the nape of his neck. Jace only rolled his eyes, it wasn't as if he had been bothered by her as of now. What little to question for now hadn't been worth the effort in the back of his mind. It wasn't as if he seemed to understand what little had been done to stop this. It wasn't as if he questioned her control of things.
Leone yawned, her giant paws reaching up into the air as if she had been a feline of her own making. It didn't bother him as she leaned on his side, all too curious as of now. It wasn't as if he didn't know that she had been a soldier before it came down to it.
"You're going to be a soldier, and so am I. I'm going to question what to handle next. The general will be a problem." Jace stated while he ran his hands while he tilted his head to the side.
The idea had been a lot more to this question before than now when it came down to it when it as of now. it seemed for the time being.
What little he had been a lot more to question for now. It had been a problem that needed to be done and dusted.
He had a lot more to question for now. He knew more than her what would come next, what the problem was going to be at the end of the day. Yet? He did not falter, did not at all awaken confidence in him at the time. No, just question what the hell would come next if there was a problem with this plan.
She snorted, stomping her feet on the ground which shook the furniture around them. It made him roll his eyes to know this was going on for the time being. The idea had a lot more merit than he expected it to as of now when it was questioned as of now. What he seemed to handle now before was an oddly weird little thing for them to deal with.
Yet? He simply rolled his eyes as of now. He tilted his head at the much taller woman who had been a part of this time being… What little he did know was something for the time being. What he needed was something that could turn the tide for now. a lot more than it could have been for the time being… Yes, all of the time that he wasted on trying to fix this could be used for something else they needed more than anything, the only problem would probably be how this behaves at the end of the day. It was oh so odd for now. It was going to be so weird for now. What little he did next would be something cool and exciting… Instead, it seemed as if she had been snorting and oddly thrown off a mess of fur and claws that had just crawled from the depths to mess with him. The problem had been with him expecting her not to go this way, but he knew her better than that at the end of the day, wasn't like he could claim not to for now.
The problem had been with how she was at times, she leaned more into his side while he rolled his eyes, it was going to be one of those odd little adventures when all of this was said and done, wasn't it?
"She's going to end up getting me killed, isn't she?" Dusk asked as he questioned what was to happen next.
She snorted, too unwilling to care it seemed. If he was entire, right? Well? There would be problems probably until the end of time at this rate with what had been done for now. It had been a weird verdict to make, but an apt one for the time being, what he did know was this was going to be a problem until the end of the road.
He snorted, all too curious for now how the plan would end up going, for now, it'd be a weird little thing to account for at the end of the day, but it wasn't as if he had been a question for now. What little he did next would be a weird little problem for them to contend with.
Yet? He'd probably be dealing with that for the foreseeable future when it was questioned before long. It'd be a problem, for now, either way. What he knew next was that this would be done and dusted at the second.
She tilted her head, curious as to this. She was still too exhausted to know what was going on. there was oh so much going on this, they had to be prepared for this.
She snorted to herself, too tired to care, too unable or unwilling to handle it, there was a lot more to this move when it came next. There would be a lot more to this than just them and it had been something that needed to be done and dusted when it came.
She kicked at him, her lion-like feet poking into his side with the interest she always had, it seemed as if there was nothing else that would just mess with him with this much effort, it had been the only single thing when it had been done and dusted.
She snorted more and more, simply uncaring or not willing to care more than anything. It had made him snort when he came down to this.
She kicked at him again and leaned on him more and more, it almost felt as if a giant weight was on it. He raised an eyebrow at her while snorting to herself, it made him roll his eyes at her, curious for now.
This made her snore a bit louder as she seemed to listen for something, anything inside the room, too curious as to what it had been for now. A lot more curious while she raised an eyebrow, snorting and looking as if he seemed to become a lot more of a weird thing when it seemed to have been when it came down to it.
The idea made less sense than it had been before, she yawned, a long stream of drool coming from her lips as she twitched, seeming to enjoy herself within whatever dream for now. it seemed as if there was a nice dream wrapped up inside her innocent little head when all of this was said and done and dusted before now, kicking up at the air with her giant paws.
"Mm…" Leone said while he raised an eyebrow at her, a bit too amused at her antics to do anything about it. The idea made him laugh more than it had before.
"Woman, you are going to be the death of me someday before all of this is done," Jace said while he rolled his eyes at her. "She's going to get someone stabbed in the face or worse when this is all decided, isn't she?" Jace questioned, curious about how to handle this.
The move that had been made was something weird. It'd make him snort in amusement if he hadn't been done yet. He snorted anyway, thrown off if only a little bit when it was done for.
The message was loud and clear between them when it came down to it. The idea that they were a team meant there was a lot more to do, a lot more to question when all of this seemed to be.
He pushed at her and was greeted with nothing when it seemed to come to their move. She didn't even move when he tried even as he budged at her, not once moving her bulk at all.
The idea she was to be his partner scared him more to this than there had been between them. He didn't hold it against them when all of it was said. She was not the worse than push came to shove, there was more to it than there had been before, the idea escaped her.
She was a beast of hedonistic ideas when all of this was over. She fed on sin, downing drink over and over and over. It seemed as if she wanted to do something more than anything.
She clicked her claws together, one of her claw-like hands cutting through the air as if they were nothing more than a pair of oversized gloves. There was more to this game, a lot more they hadn't yet decided for themselves.
"Right there… Right there." Leone stated to which Jace could only raise an eyebrow at her and her insane antics at the moment.
Jace sighed and prayed for death would take him then and there for now. It was at least better than dying or something when all of it was said and done.
He sighed and rolled his eyes as of now. What he had been doing was something questioned before now. He was all too unready to part from this insanity when all was over and done with. Yet? He hadn't at all found it to be much of anything.
"I'm going to hell for this," Jace muttered as he rolled his eyes, too bored to say anything and ignore it.
He had been too prepared for now, focused only on this more than what had been done before. He tilted his head at her as she blinked, unsure of what to do next. He tilted his head, unsure of what to do next.
She leaned more on him, he was a lot more focused on his idea and how this would go when it seemed to handle next. He hummed, curious if Leone would use him as a toy or just mess with him more. Either one promised a lot less insanity. There was a lot more to handle while he questioned.
He hummed, rolling his head to the side, unsure for now when it was all over with.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Leone questioned as she slowly started to open up as of now.
"Not as much as you seem to be, ok?" Jace stated while he frowned, all too unable to do anything besides try and sit up.
He knew she wouldn't let him and she didn't, it made him simply roll his eyes as he prepared for the worst and knew the worst would come sooner or later. Jace had smiled, while he hummed while he rolled his eyes, watching as she leaned at him unsure of what to say or do next.
"What are you going to do when you fully wake up?" Jace questioned, raising an eyebrow at her, unsure of how this would end.
He was a lot more while he hummed to himself. He tilted his head; the move hadn't yet been done and dusted. He brushed off to handle while he tilted his head, looking around the room while tilting his head and humming as he did so. There was more to quest what to do next, whatever it was going to be prepared for now. He was a lot more to focus on as of now. What he did do next?
Jace looked at her as she leaned on his side, prepared for the worst if nothing else. There was a lot more to focus upon with these people and yet? He didn't at all know what Leone would have been like back then. He didn't know what she could have done. He was not unsure what would be focusing on before now. He was not to focus
"Are you going to be, ok?" Jace asked only to get no answer as he rolled his eyes, looking around the room as he did so.
He snorted, completely unsure of what to do before now. He was pushed slightly to the edge by her as she looked at him, making him raise an eyebrow before looking around.
She snorted and kicked at him once again, making him snort as he looked at her, raising an eyebrow as he did so. There is nothing at all making him any different at all. It just made him too unsure of what to do properly if anything.
He yawned, sighing and collapsing into a puddle for no reason if only a little. It made him bored if nothing else. He was bored for her, bored for what she'd done before now. If there was nothing else? Well, at least he couldn't be blamed for a problem. Not unsure of what to do next.
He yawned to himself, yawned as he questioned if she'd wake up bored and exhausted with everything. It'd not be the first time she was unsure of how to swing this to her. He hadn't yet found out how it was to be.
There was only so much he could do to properly get her to focus, there was only so much he could do to stop her if she set her mind to ripping him apart. He didn't want to be able to do anything to bother her. He hadn't yet wanted her on his case, he hadn't wanted her off his face either. Nope, just properly focused and properly fighting side by side with him. He didn't get it; he probably wouldn't be getting that anytime soon.
He yawned, unsure of what would be coming next if anything. He wasn't going to be able to handle her if she snapped off the rails and bothered him more than she had been.
He yawned at how tiresome this had become. She wanted power, she wanted freedom. He wanted her to focus on the mission, not to bother him when he was busy, that would probably never come if he was honest, he was just too bored to constantly engage her on the grounds she wanted. There was never to be ground where they found themselves equals; it just wouldn't work…. Yes, such a nightmare that didn't entirely work was terrifying, but it could be fixed, it could be undone.
He looked at the woman who had decided to have turned him into a spoon and continued to do so. She hugged him to her, falling to her side as she did so. Jace sighed as he realized the girl wasn't going to just let him go for any reason.
He sighed and decided to let her have her fun. It wasn't like she wasn't almost killed and he knew nothing in the world was going to make her stop toying with him.
Jace managed to slide off his shoes and let the girl who had dwarfed him spoon him, his face being pulled into her stomach as he sighed and decided to use said stomach as a pillow. She was odd, maybe even crazy, but she did the job of being a loyal assassin well, there were very few people he could have considered to have gotten to this point. This nightmare had to be finished or else they'd not be able to have been able to relax. Such a thing was uncommon, unclothe.
He still didn't understand what had been brought on by such a tiring thing. It felt as if he was seeping deeper and deeper into some sort of hole.
"I know you can hear me, Leone. Your ears are twitching up and down. Lionel fused with you a lot before it got fixed at this rate…." Jace said while he hummed.
"Let me sleep." Leone stated to which Jace rolled his eyes, too thrown off by such a thing.
"You've been sleeping since 8," Jace said as he tried to get somewhat comfortable. "If your sleeping? Then let me sleep, all I feel is your belly… You turned into a giant super cat." Jace said as he sighed.
"You're the one who wanted the giant cat back in action. Isn't exactly like I chose this, you know." Leone said to which Jace sighed, rubbing at his temples as he knew she had a point.
"Maybe, but your Tengu fused with you… That, or you're screwing with me as you do with everyone." Jace said, snuggling against her exposed stomach.
"Oh, screwing with you…? ~" Jace heard as he rolled his eyes.
"No, I'm not asking you for a heat dance…" Jace said before he sighed. "As much as you drive me up a wall? I rather like having you around, though. Your snarky, you help me kill the general… You think you're a gutter rat and a piece of trash, but we both know only the empire saw you that way. Not the people who know the truth." Jace said as he sighed, too unsure of what her antics would bring.
"We're all gutter trash to the empire. Only a few people care about the truth. The Prime Minister? The emperor? We're trash to them and everyone else." Leone stated to which Jace only sighed.
She wasn't wrong by any stretch of the imagination. Such things had only served to have made him feel more and more and more when it was all over, it hadn't yet seemed as if this was going to have been something more, something much more than he had wished, it had been a lot more than he had wished or could have wished for.
He rubbed at his temples while he seemed to have gotten somewhere. There was pain swelling in his head, making him focus more on such little things.
"You're the one who wanted the beast, you're the one who has to take responsibility. You know that." Leone said as she looked at him.
He could only amuse himself as she purred and started to lean on him, making him sigh as he was pushed deeper into her stomach, feeling her flesh upon his face as he did so.
"Can you stop putting your stomach in my face? It's getting old?" Leone heard as Jace hummed, looking around with practiced ease that only he was capable of.
She constantly pushed him to the edge; she constantly demanded his best when it came down to it. There were a few seconds before it came down to it. He didn't know what else he could have done. This was such an odd thing, it constantly made him sigh, but he was too incapable of such a thing not being odd.
"I could put your head somewhere else then…. ~" Leone stated to which Jace sighed as he allowed the woman to smother him.
"Do you always try this or am I just special?" Jace questioned with a twinge of interest in such things.
"Only on the people I like, yep. Your special." Leone said before she sniffed the air. "Why is it you want something like this to be a bad thing? I like being around you. It's fun, you bring out the fun in me and you saved me from dying for nothing… Though I wouldn't call dying after killing Honest to have been." Leone stated to which Jace sighed.
"I don't, but I'm not exactly done with something else. I don't want to have to deal with constantly wondering if you're going to turn me into a toy." Jace started to which Leone rolled her eyes.
"You say all of this like it's a bad thing when all of this of the problems are done and dusted." Jace heard from Leone as he hummed, tilting his head before it was once again pressed into her stomach.
"And somehow I feel like you hate the fact that I care about you." Leone stated to which Jace sighed, too unsure of what the problem had been with a problem when it was all over.
He didn't know how well this would have gone. He didn't know how the problem was going to have been done and dusted. It was odd for now. They had their problems for now sadly, a lot more.
He simply sighed as he knew well, she could have been messing with him. she had yet to mess with him too much. She had wanted to more and more and more as time went on.
"Are you at odds with that?" Leone questioned as she watched him snuggle into her chest. "Heh, if you find it so silly? Well? Why do you keep doing it?" Leone questioned to which Jace sighed and tried to pull herself out of her stomach.
"I don't hate you or what I deal with you when it comes down to it," Jace stated before he sighed, looking down at her skin. "It's the fact you act like this so often I barely seem to get a few words with you," Jace said while he shook his head.
He hadn't been prepared for the worst. She wrapped her arms around her shoulders, looking down at the smaller person.
"Maybe I just don't like when people get out of this funk." Leone stated while she tilted her head as he glanced down at the ground. "The last few people who got close to me are dead? There's a lot of stuff I don't want to get where they had wished or would have wished. Trust me, I have plenty of reasons not to trust people anytime soon. They aren't exactly the easiest thing to throw away. You don't just pretend like you don't have a heart and nothing matters you know." Leone said as Jace sighed, knowing what she wanted to mean.
"Trust me. It's never as easy as you think when you have gotten to such a state if that was all said and done." Jace said as she fell silent.
She knew more than he that said justice had been served and it would have been something neither had come to deal with evenly. It was so odd, so weird to him. this hadn't been part of his plan and it had been a problem. A far worse problem had cut through the air. He didn't want to have to deal with the fact she was being insane.
Well, she hugged him deeper and deeper and deeper into her skin, making him well acquainted with her belly button than he had wished to have been.
He sighed. Did she want to play like a cat? Fine, he'd handle it as a hound would have. It was just what she had tried or had wished to have brought out of him so much.
He kicked in his imperial arms, making his arms and legs spurt the hair that she often dealt with. He grinned and started to nip at her skin, making her yelp as she realized he was messing with her.
"Oh… You want to play like that, huh?" Leone asked, grinning as she realized that she had NO reason to not go all out on him at all when it was all said and done.
It made her grin as she realized she hadn't any problems with his game, her mind had yet to have fallen apart. They both found this to have been far more amusing with such a thing.
She nipped at his ear; her fang-like teeth raked over his skin which had made him growl as a hound would have. He withdrew as he did something. This was far more fun than he had expected. He grunted for a second as she tried to tackle him, only resulting in them being knocked to the ground. It hadn't yet seemed as if he had gotten tired as she gripped him, giggling as the two cuts and bit at each with an amusement that hadn't yet been matched. No, all it did was make him laugh, he tossed himself backward, making sure to put much distance between them as possible.
"Did you just bite my stomach?" Leone asked as Jace shrugged. "Dude, you're asking for it a LOT worse by doing that. I hope you know that. I hope that you know I'm not going to leave any mercy on you." Leone said as Jace hummed and dodged an attempt to bite him. There was a smirk of amusement on his face as he said so.
"You were the one smothering me because I didn't have what it is you want. Honestly? It's a little silly." Jace said before he cracked his fingers. "Also? WHOM THE HELL BITES EARS!?" Jace asked before raising an eyebrow at her before she seemed to have tilted his head.
She grinned, smirking for the time being before she lunged at him as he backed out the door behind him before he sighed.
He didn't know what it seemed to have been unsure what she seemed to have gotten what it seemed to have prepared for the time being. She seemed to have her claws ready before she tilted her head and cut at him. She hadn't yet found an urge to have gotten her bloodlust out.
"C'mere, we're going to end this sometime soon." Leone said while she cut her claws towards Jace as he shook his head.
She cut her claws across the area before she seemed to have gotten worse. She watched as he leaped backward while he smirked. He smirked, his mouth baring his fang-like teeth as he dodged the strike which would have cut her to pieces as it would have me.
Such a thing that had bothered him like this. It had bothered him more and more and more. She bared her teeth towards him, making him skittish as he did so. This problem hadn't yet gotten where it should have been. No, he didn't exactly feel much amusement when it all ended. All of this ended with the pain and amusement that it should have been for now. There was a tiring experience for now. it hurt more and more, but it was fun. He hadn't been able to have relaxed for now.
There was a lot more to question at the time. There was a lot more upon the second. He hadn't yet seemed to have prepared for now. He hadn't yet questioned what it seemed that it should have been.
There was such a second issue when it came down to it. There was more on the line than this. He tossed to the side as her claws raced over the stone and wood before he looked around. This hadn't yet seemed to have been over it. This hadn't yet seemed to have reached the point where he could have been bothered.
"What's to happen?" Leone asked before she tilted her head to the side, lowering her claws to the ground as she prepared to have pounced. "There's just too much on your little mind, let me fix that." Leone said while Jace seemed to have leaped away from her attack.
She wasn't ready for this to have ended as she leaped forward, her claws bared to crush him like a bit of balsa wood. She swung her claws only for him to have caught her leg and thrown her around, she slid towards the other end of the patio. She recovered and lunged forward while she extended her claws, easily starting to outpace him.
She tossed a kick his way, throwing him to the ground before trying to pounce on him. He managed to bring his legs up and throw her backward before using the momentum for a handstand kick which was denied and blocked.
"Bad dog." Leone stated before she tilted her hand to the side. "If I wanted you to fight me like that? I've allowed it to happen easier than it should have been… Your enjoying playing with me, aren't you?" Leone asked with a smirk as he growled, snapping his jaws as if he was an animal ready to have dinner.
"Maybe it's my Tengu, but I'm not more than I was before… I'm just not willing to let you get me that easy. Really wouldn't help much if it was so easy to have stopped it." Leone stated to which there was a form of amusement.
She almost grasped at him, she almost sunk her claws into him only for him to dodge, to backpedal ever so slightly that it made him laugh, thrown off by her antics and how she had gotten so far.
She managed to almost to have cut him, only to throw her to the side, unsure of what to have told her… Today seemed to be getting where it should have been at a much different rate… To a degree, he felt tired… Thrown off more than usual, more than he had expected it to.
She was still keeping him on his toes with every single hit, each attack seemed more like a hammer blow and less like a few hammers had fallen onto his head over and over and over again until he all but entirely fell apart under the stress and such.
It hadn't yet gotten anywhere anytime soon. If anything? All this did was push him forwards when it comes down to it as he shook his head.
He slammed forwards into her with such a fury that he almost wanted to smash her to the ground before trying.
Jace was upon the woman in seconds as she seemed to constantly be trying to claw at him, trying to cut through him as he rolled his eyes and dodged the attack before he sighed to himself.
Leone tried to pounce on him as he locked his fingers and slammed his head before he shook his head.
"Are you ever going to have to back down when it comes down to it?" Jace questioned before he shook his head. "Because I'm starting to wonder if this is going to be something we're going to be doing forever." Leone heard before she swiped at him.
Jace backflipped over one of her lunges as she passed him while the boy only rolled his eyes. He hadn't exactly found her to be as amusing as she assumed she was, however. It was just plain odd when it came down to it. She was pushing him more and more into a corner.
"And what's to happen next?" Leone asked before she reached out only for him to kick her leg to the side.
She balanced on another leg and kicked him to the side only for him to roll his eyes towards her as he perfectly understood what else was coming. She kicked him to the ground and pounced upon him as he simply rolled his eyes, not at all amused.
"You could stop denying you don't care the way you do, Jace." Leone said as she rested atop him. "You think all of this flirting is fake? Sure, some are… That doesn't mean I don't care. You've gone out of your way to bring me back." Leone said as Jace rolled his eyes.
"Partly because of the damn fact I needed some of your skills to help track this guy, Leone. I'm a fighter and planner, not a damn hunter." Jace started to which Leone rolled her eyes.
"Boss is still alive. You didn't do that crap simply because of how good I am." Leone stated as she rested a hand on his face. "I heard you tell me I didn't deserve to die like that. I'm gutter trash to the empire, Jace. We both know the rebels were never the good guys and neither was the empire." Leone stated to which Jace rolled his eyes.
"I know you're not gutter trash and you know it. You killed the prime minister. That's not what you are." Jace said to which Leone rolled her eyes.
"See? You give a damn. Nobody else would have done that just because of that. We both knew this was coming when it was all said and done." Leone said to which Jace only rolled his eyes and looked around at every single little thing around him for the time being.
He knew better than to answer. Better than to fall prey to her webs and lies and tribulations.
Still? it was clear she wanted blood and so damn well that he did as well, he'd not simply fall prey to such antics… It was clear he wasn't going to back down and it was quite damn clear he didn't want to, his body burned to fight.
He kicked her foot off his chest and rolled to his feet as he growled, his teeth bared in hateful fangs as he faced her, too eager to have something done, to have this battle.
Leone grinned and stalked towards him, too interested in what was going to have happened and what needed to happen. They both wanted this fight, they wanted it.
"C'mon…" Leone said while she pounced forwards, eager to have gotten it all over.
"You're going down, I'm sick of you treating me like I'm some toy, Leone," Jace said as he bared his teeth.
He threw himself at her, too interested in the antics in the tactics in whatever to have to question for the time before or more at all.
She greeted him, her claws sharpened and her posture hunched over as she seemed to equal him. She didn't know what to believe, to say… To find some measure of peace.
So instead? She welcomed him. Leone easily slammed him to the ground, letting him meekly roll as she snapped her jaws and playfully batted at him with her paws.
He growled and turned, grabbing one of her arms as she stood her ground, gripping his shoulder as she looked at him, towering over him.
"I smell you, Jace… Trust me, this isn't me flirting to be silly." Leone said as Jace merely rolled his eyes.
She was silent, too amused as to how this was going to have happened for the time being. She nipped at his neck only for him to flip, smashing them over the gate and into the woods as he rolled down the hill, dragging her with him.
It did nothing more than make Leone laugh as she realized he was trying to win this fight whereas she was simply toying with him. She knew if he wanted to hurt her. Well, it'd be damn easier than she had shown it to be.
They slammed into a small ravine as Jace leaped onto a stone and looked at Leone, a look of quiet contemplation upon his face as he pondered how well to have beaten her in battle.
"You're not winning that easy, Leone. I'm not just going to let you win." Jace said as he cracked his back, looking at the woman with interest as she sighed, too interested in this to just back off.
It was clear both of them wanted this to have ended. Their fight wasn't nearly over and both of them knew it. She sighed to herself as she felt too tired and too interested in what to have done next.
It'd not end anytime soon… Not at this rate, not at any rate when it had come down to it. They had a lot more to have to say on their minds.
He didn't at all focus on fighting her, it was clear he didn't at all know what to have done if he beat her in battle and she wished to have taken full advantage.
It was clear she'd not at all allow this to have happened the way it should have, it was entirely clear to her that all of what she had wanted would not come to pass. Perhaps because she had not wished it to have come to pass when it came down to it.
She swung her clawed hands at him as he tried to lock hands with her, it was clear the woman was far beyond him in terms of strength as she slammed him into a tree hard enough to shear parts of the bark off it.
She laughed as she loomed over him only for him to kick her in the stomach and then flip her into the tree behind him, it was clear at least to him which made her laugh. She looked over her before she glanced at him, raising her eyebrow.
"Your very funny…" Leone said before she peeled herself from the bark and looked at her friend. "Are you sure you're, ok? You can…" Leone stated before he shook her head and looked at her.
The two panted in exhaustion as both of them looked at each other before she looked at him, too amused for the time being.
"I do like you; I want you to know that." Leone stated before she leaned on the tree. "Is it so hard to believe I love you?" Leone asked to which Jace felt his eyes narrow in shock.
It was a moment of pure silence while he shook his head and looked at her with an eyebrow raised as to how this was to have been coming onwards. They'd not soon forget any time before he lunged forwards, and attacked her entirely, eager to have gotten some sort of victory.
"Why the hell do you have to play games like this, huh? What do you gain from it?" Leone heard as she snorted and looked around, more amused than angered.
"That's not a game. I do love you; you know… Your funny, you don't constantly brag about yourself, and it's clear you brought me back from death with some sort of plan in mind… Why wouldn't I care about you? You are one of the few people who doesn't look at me like a piece of meat." Leone said to which Jace simply rolled his eyes.
"Because you aren't?" Leone heard as Jace slid down a tree, too tired to do much if anything to have been released from this type of exhaustion. "Because I'm not entirely interested in that at the moment? I have a warlord who wants to take over the entire world and ruin everything that we've worked to try and get. Why do you assume I have so much time to handle this when I don't? I don't, I've not the focus upon which meant Matias is what I'm dealing with." Jace stated before he shook his head.
He shook his head before he seemed to have to question what to do something for now. It was clear that both had measures that needed to have been an odd little more of an amusing thing.
He slammed into her, bark sliding down the tree before she questioned what to have done and how well he was going to have battered down her defenses.
Leone looked at her as the tree collapsed, cracking and then collapsing into a pile of splinters as it fell to the ground. She fell to the ground while Jace tried to pounce on her only, driving her into the ground.
"I care about you, but I don't…. I don't know how to feel about you." Jace stated to which he was given a very blank face as he looked around.
A very blank idea on his muzzle reminded him that such issues were the last thing he had wanted, the last ideal thing he had expected. If anything? All this did was remind him that she was in another league, she'd always be such.
Leone cracked her spine with an audible snap as she looked at Jace who had fallen silent, unsure of what to tell the woman and not willing to simply surrender.
"Can we honestly just be a thing? Tell me one reason why you don't care about me that way. ONE." Leone said as Jace hummed. "Is it how I act? Because I know you don't mind. The fact I flirt with you? I know you've been able to take it and give it back… You care enough to admit it, but not to yourself and you know that… You know that and yet you still want to act as you know better." Leone said as Jace sighed and then slumped down on the tree that had been broken free of its foundations.
It was a few seconds of silence as Leone tucked her massive legs under her before she sat next to him. it was becoming clear to them that their problems were far from over. She leaned on him as Jace sighed.
"You're right with the 'I brought you back for more than your skill'." Leone heard from Jace as he sighed and shook his head to himself. "But I'm not good at all of this," Jace said before he shook his head.
He sighed to himself, too unsure of what to do next. It was FAR too much for the boy and yet he had fallen silent, prepared purely for now and he had gotten it so twisted and turned around to the extreme that such measures only served to have bothered him for now. It was clear that such measures had only served him well and well enough.
He looked at Leone who had tried her best to comfort him. it was clear she wasn't lying, the glint in her eyes, the smirk which had divided her face had been replaced with a small smile that had split most of her face.
It was clear more and more and more that she hadn't been trying to mess with him, no. She just didn't seem to want to do it without doing it her way. It was clear to him such measures had been her way of flirting.
Perhaps he should have said something. it'd be better than nothing and it wasn't like she had lied. He did have some feelings for her. They were a pair, a team, they'd be bonded at the hip sooner or later and it was clear he at least owed a good answer.
He wrapped an arm around her hips and brought her closer to him. she responded by doing one better and gripping him before slamming him firmly down on her legs. Jace felt pain in his legs and posterior but that was probably her doing just as well.
It was clear to him she was simply flirting her way so he decided to just hug her.
"Yes or no. You owe me that at least." Leone prodded to which Jace sighed. "I can make you tell me, I'm sure we both know how and while it might be fun? We'd both still be left off with the question." Leone stated to which he sighed.
"Yes, Leone," Jace said before she smiled. "But I want you to point out there will be more problems… Matias will be something else for us to handle… I'm going to focus on killing him. I don't want to get off the idea of what to question next.
"And that means we just have to kill him…" Leone said to which he nodded at her, too thrown off by all of this for now. "I'm an assassin, Jace. I don't know what this is going to be like. I know we're going to die in it sooner or later. I don't expect something" Leone stated before she tapped on her giant legs.
There are a lot more moments to have to handle next. It was clear more and more as this set in that such measures were… Impossible to reconcile with her ideas for now.
It was clear to him as well their war wouldn't be easy. He didn't at all expect these sorts of things to just back down. He looked at her, unsure where their relationship would have been when this came to an end. It was purely decided they'd have more and more to talk about when it came down to it.
Still? He had some damn time to at least consider it properly. He didn't at all wish to see it end the proper way, no. He had to see it end the proper way. It was clear more or less that such problems wouldn't be allowed to have stayed for now.
It was something that had to have been questioned for now when it came down to it.
They had more and more problems to have fixed when it came down to it. He wasn't going to have done anything when it came down to it. He questioned before now what to have focused on and what to do next.
He was all too much amused when push came to shove, not simply because this was going to be insane, not simply because Leone had pushed his head into her belly once more, no. It was partly because Leone was the LAST person whom Jace assumed he'd have fallen in love with.
Still? If he was utterly honest with himself? There was only too much on the mind when it was all over for now. Jace hugged her as he pushed himself off her lap and sighed to himself in amusement.
"You want to flirt? Then don't act so forward, Leone. I don't want to wake up with you licking my ears then try and excuse it as you do with your powers." Jace said as he fell silent, utterly and entirely smirking as the only image was Leone's bare stomach.
It was clear more and more that if he was honest? Well, he'd have smirked, utterly consumed and utterly tired.
Leone wanted to have objected but knew better. She was in an odd position, one where she might die at the end. Leone had spent an entire war watching her friends die back and forth over and over again until they had all been consumed by the war itself.
Leone wrapped her arms around Jace as he sighed and then looked to the side. She tapped her giant paws on the tree bark, ripping small little pieces of it from the trunk. Leone looked at Jace who only raised an eyebrow as he untangled himself from her, he rubbed at his arms which were still bestial in origin and had only served to remind her that Jace was a monster in appearance at least.
Had their Tengu been part of a pair? Their imperial arms seemed to drive them together very well and it was clear to her that at least part of their bond was due to their very similar powers.
"I'm still going to tease you, you know. I won't promise anything beyond stopping myself from pushing it too far." Leone said as Jace sighed, a raised eyebrow.
"I can't exactly promise anything when it comes down to it. I just want you to know that." Leone said to which Jace could only sigh, too amused to have denied it for now when it came down to it.
He had a lot of reason to have thought this for the time being. it was clear such measures had only served to have amused him for now and that would continue to have done something odd and unsure. It had to have ended and it should have ended sometime soon. It had been something that he should have prepared for now.
It was just more and more part of life, more and more something he had to deal with and it hurt more or less when he prepared for now.
Leone questioned before he seemed to have prepared for the time being when it came down to it. he didn't at all prepare for the time being when it clicked his name before he seemed to have prepared for now when it was all before.
He didn't at all know for now and he seemed to have processed what to do next before he yawned.
She was pulled to him before she smirked to himself before it came to it. Leone wasn't going to have prepared for now what to have prepared for now.
She sighed before she looked around at her and then looked down at the ground. It was a smirk of little defiance as if she knew if he had found anything out. Well, she'd have watched what little peace he had in his mind.
She didn't at all want him to worry, she didn't want him to have to panic every single day they woke up. It was clear more and more that whatever they had in their lives would have been something… Terrible for now.
"You know when it comes down to it? We aren't going to be able to rest… And I don't mean that the way you think." Leone said before she rested a hand on his. "Both of us have plenty of enemies, I know plenty of people are going to want to put us in the ground." Leone said as Jace rolled his eyes and let her rest her giant head on his shoulders.
"I'm not worried about how many people want to kill us, Leone. I already have to worry about you crushing my damn spine every time I sleep, Leone." Jace said to which she elbowed him in the side. "I'm worried damn well about Matias and how many people he'll kill. If I kill him? Well? Then I can retire in peace." Jace said to which he shook his head.
"And what is going to happen if we do?" Leone asked before Jace rolled his eyes.
"Then I'll be ok to handle it," Jace said and crossed his arms in front of him. "Can we go back to the damn house and not throw ourselves down the hill?" Jace stated before he looked around.
"Aw, but I like throwing you down a mountain, it's fun," Leone said to which Jace only looked before he slowly started to walk up the tower before he slowly started to walk up.
She hadn't at all seemed to have questioned what to do next. This wasn't going to have been something that came down to it. This isn't going to have been easy. She was honestly a lot more prepared for now what to have done for now.
It wasn't going to have been easy before she had questioned what to do next.
Jace could only sigh at this as he slowly pulled himself from the damaged tree and slowly started up the hill. Leone smirked which made him sigh as he looked at her.
