"That's why we wait for cover." Ultra Magnus scolded WheelJack, putting his hammer on his back, glaring angrily at immature Wrecker. If it wasn't a childish act, he would have slammed the hammer into WheelJack's faceplate for acting so recklessly.

WheelJack's mouth valve guard disappeared back into his helmet, then he felt something knock lightly inside his chest.

For a split second, he panicked. Then he remembered.

"Ah bolts." He exclaimed, opening his chest and Miko crawled out, gasping and panting. A faint hint of green in her face showed that she was in WheelJack's chest while he was bouncing around.

Bulkhead groaned worriedly, glancing at Ultra Magnus expecting him to burst. WheelJack held his hand up, allowing Miko to roll onto it. Carrying the nauseated teenager, he placed her on a rock.

"Forgot you were in there kid."

Panting, Miko managed to form a small smile. "At least I didn't heave on any floor mats." Her smile quickly vanished when she felt bile built up again.

"That was totally wicked!" A small voice shouted from a distance.

WheelJack sighed and shook his head.

"I thought I said stay in the ship!" WheelJack shouted, turning and lifted his head up like he was yelling at the sky. Ultra Magnus and Bulkhead followed his gaze to the top of the hill where they stood before the fight occurred. In their place was an overly excited Tobit, jumping up and down with a large smile.

"Uh oh." Bulkhead mumbled, waiting for Ultra Magnus to start scolding both WheelJack again.

"Way to go guys! That was epic! Whoa!" Tobit exclaimed, his landing pad slipping off the edge. Shouting a mixture of fear and excitement like a teenager on a roller coaster, he slid down the precipice. "Ok, I've had enough! Hey, Gramps, catch me!" Half way down, he bent his legs and pounced into the air, whooping and rolling in a small ball.

Gasping slightly, Ultra Magnus removed the hammer, and dropped it. He stood in place for a second, then leaped into the air, catching the rolling mech. Landing back on his landing pads,Ultra Magnus noticed he was holding the small mech upside down.

"Nice catch!" He exclaimed, squirming in Ultra Magnus's grip, his landing pads nearly kicking Ultra Magnus's face. "Come on, Gramps! Help me out here! I don't wanna fall on my head!"

"First of all, do not call me 'gramps'." Ultra Magnus grunted, struggling to not get his faceplate kicked.

"Second of all, what are you doing here?" Ultra Magnus asked, spinning him around and landed him on his landing pads. He straightened his back and placed his servos on his hip pads, stating his authority to him.

"Prime said I could come." He answered, his bright innocent optics gazing up at Ultra Magnus's. Ultra Magnus started to feel guilty for scolding him. Shaking that feeling out of his head, he narrowed his optics at Tobit. He started to realize why the youngest sparkling was rarely scolded by his caretakers.

"Optimus Prime gave you permission? Or did WheelJack?" He asked, meeting WheelJack's calm glare. "And what could have, possibly, compelled you to bring both the native and my youngest grandsparkling?"

WheelJack rolled his optics, remembering both Miko and Tobit asked to join before they left. More or less, they expected they would join even if they didn't ask. It was easy to hide Miko, Tobit on the other hand, had to sneak aboard before the ship took off.

Shaking his head back to reality in time to receive more scolding from the commander. "Are your circuits impaired, soldier?!"

"Prime told you to lead the Wreckers on this one. I assumed he meant all of them." He looked over at both Miko and Tobit, smiling proudly.

"Are you mocking your commanding officer?"

"Wouldn't think of it sir. The kids a full blown Wrecker, Toe here's in training." WheelJack explained, placing a servo on Tobit's head. "He's joined me and Bulkhead on more dangerous missions, and he's come out without so much as a scratch on him."

"And I suppose your carrier approves of this?" Ultra Magnus asked Tobit who's energetic smile quickly turned apologetic as he hid behind WheelJack's leg.

Sighing, WheelJack lowered down to his knee pads and pulled Tobit around. "Tobit, part of our deal is you tell your mom or dad where you're goin'. You're asking to get grounded to base coming with us this time."

"Sorry, I just forgot-"

"I will hear no more of this. Tobit, you are to head back to the ship." Ultra Magnus commanded, nudging the young bot towards the cliff. "Same for the native."

Tobit shot his head up, his blue optics pleading.

"But-"

"Miko and Tobit have been through worse." Bulkhead intervened, knowing WheelJack had a point. "More than likely we've past the dangerous part."

"Please?! Come on, I won't get in the way, I swear." Tobit pledged, placing his servo over his chest and raised his other servo in the air. "Remember, I'm related to you, and the youngest member of the Stinger Clan. I can totally handle myself."

"That arrogant attitude is what I'm concerned about."

"Gramps, I found it!" Tobit shouted, running up to Ultra Magnus with something in his servo.

"Wait, I think I found it." Miko said, holding up an oddly shaped rock.

"No, those are rocks." Ultra Magnus answered, keeping his patience in check.

"Oh, I knew that." He threw the rock, and continued looking. "Man, Gramps is such hard work."

"Shoulda seen him when he was leading the Wrecker's, he was much of a hard hide."

"Jackie." Bulkhead scolded.

"Right, language." WheelJack rolled his optics in annoyance. "When I was a kid, nobody cared what they said around me, and I didn't repeat any of it. Here kid, look up here." He walked up to Tobit and lifted him up, placing him on his shoulder pads. "Also, Tobit, don't repeat what I just said."

"Ok." He grunted, struggling to reach the ceiling. "Jackie, you're too short! I can't reach!"

"Too short? Alright." WheelJack grabbed Tobit's landing pad and dragged him off his shoulder pad, hanging him upside down.

"Hey! Not cool, not cool!" He cried, struggling to reach WheelJack's servo.

"Part of your training, try to get yourself out of it." WheelJack smirked, finding it amusing to watch the young mech attempting to free himself. "Call me short again, and I'll dangle ya from the ceiling at home. Got it?"

"Yeah, yeah, I got it." Tobit groaned, going limp. WheelJack lowered his arm until Tobit's servos touched the ground, then he let go. Standing back up and brushing the dirt off, he followed behind WheelJack. "What are we looking for again?"

"A Predacon bone." Realizing what he said, he slowed down slightly til he was standing next to Tobit. "And since we're on the topic of question's, I thought we agreed you were going to stay behind with your siblings until I said so."

"Hey, you said I could."

"Would it mattered if I did or didn't?" WheelJack asked, trying to keep his tone calm and gentle. "I know you, Toe, you would've snuck aboard even if I told you 'no'. Come on, level with me here."

"Well..." He paused, scratching the back of his helmet. "Steele was creepin' me out."

WheelJack blinked in surprise."Really? He's no weirder than his dad."

"I mean he's always asking questions, always wanting to know what we're doing." He moaned, searching around the rocks again. "And he follows us around, my brothers and me. It's really annoying, ya know."

"So?"

"So it's weird and annoying!" Tobit shot, dropping a rock. "I don't wanna be around him!"

"Come on, Tobit." This time, WheelJack made sure his tone was more firm. "Steele's younger than you. He's just curious."

"But he won't stop!" Tobit whined, confused why WheelJack wasn't agreeing with him.

"And he probably won't stop for awhile." WheelJack stepped ahead of him and lowered down to Tobit's level. "Look, I don't know much about kids. Scrap, I was an only kid. But I can tell you this, I've been in enough sparkling cares to know enough. The best thing you can do is act like the big brother Steele see's in you."

"A big brother?"

Gotcha, WheelJack would've said if he didn't know that would ruin the opportunity.

"Yeah. With Steele being the youngest, you're basically his older brother. He just wants to learn everything from you."

"Wow, that's kinda cool!" Tobit exclaimed with an excited smile.

Proud of himself, he patted Tobit's back and stood up. "So, give him a chance when you get home?"

"Yeah, I'll teach him how to fight!"

"Hey Toe," WheelJack whispered, gesturing to Ultra Magnus. "Get ahead of him. He'll be so proud if you found it before him."

"Ok Jackie." Tobit whispered back, transforming into a small camaro and sped ahead of Ultra Magnus.

"Wait-Tobit!" Ultra Magnus shouted, startled at the speed.

"Yeah?" Tobit said, transforming back into a bot and continued searching.

"Do not venture ahead of me. As your commanding-grand creator, you are to remain behind me."

"But I'm a real good finder."

"As I've heard you say plenty of times." Ultra Magnus struggled to not shake his head. "However, I suggest you listen to me or I will send you home."

"Oh alright." He said with disappointment in his tone. Suddenly, the area around them shook. "What was that?"

Behind them came a loud screetch. Ultra Magnus placed his servo on Tobit's chestplate.

"Run ahead." He whispered. "Find a secure path for us to take."

"Yes, sir." Tobit agreed, transforming and speeding down the tunnel. Panicked, Tobit searched for another tunnel, hoping he could call for back up, or at least find the exit and high tail it to the ship.

"Don't get scared, don't get scared-hey!" He shouted, taking a sharp left turn. Then he stopped, remembering who was behind him.

"Sharp left turn!" He shouted back, transforming again and sped down the rest of the tunnel until he saw a wall. "Oh no, dead end!"

He transformed again and turned to run back down the he saw headlights driving at a rapid pace down towards him.

"Dead end!" He shouted repeatedly.

"Tobit, down!" Ultra Magnus shouted. "Accelerate!"

Gasping, Tobit jumped and rolled to the side just as Ultra Magnus, Bulkhead and WheelJack drove in with a giant ball of fire behind them. Stammering, he backed into the wall.

"Toe, get away from there!" WheelJack demanded, transforming. Tobit ran up to WheelJack and hid behind his leg.

"What's happening?" He whimpered, looking around at the bot's.

"Big, bad and ugly's back." WheelJack answered, picking up Tobit and placed him on top of a boulder. Carrying Miko, Bulkhead placed her on Tobit's shoulder pad. "Alright, kid, you're gonna have to climb."

"But, I wanna help." He argued, knowing he wouldn't be much help being afraid.

"And you will." Ultra Magnus said, walking up to him. "Your mission; reach my ship and contact Optimus Prime."

"Y-yes, sir." He stammered as he started to climb.
