Azadi stood next to his friends, Afl of the SW Universe and Mawdue of the ST Universe. The three of them stared at the SNK Universe with wide eyes.

"This is worse than the time Arthur C Clarke wrote 'The Nine Billion Names Of God'." Mawdue said off-handedly.

"Seriously? Lovecraft's Cthulhu was way more chaotic." Afl argued back.

Azaid looked at the pair of them with a raised eyebrow. "Where did you hear about those?"

"Jack's place." They answered simultaneously. Azadi nodded knowingly and turned back to the matter at hand. The matter at hand was an immensely tall, towering tube. Within that tube were millions of planets, each of them holding a different reality. The tube was translucent and had several hundred rifts, basically swirling vortexes, that Azadi knew led to many other universes. Currently the tube was being contained by Azadi, Afl, Mawdue and several other powerful keepers, due to the cracks that had appeared at the bottom of the tube. They were too late to save the almost 100 planets near the bottom as they ripped themselves apart from the lack of power. Azadi felt each and every life snuffed out in his own heart.

Luckily, the situation was contained before the cracks hit the rifts and spread to other universes, but Azadi knew it was only a matter of time. He whispered to himself, "Ymir. You're literally running out of time."

Meanwhile, back in the reacting room

The crowd had become restless, seeing the death of two of their strongest soldiers put a dent in their morale. Levi's speech had boosted their adrenaline but they were all coming down from their highs of it quickly.

Peer looked to the stage and shouted, "If this is the future, it sucks. What's the point of showing us all this?"

Ymir Fritz glanced over at Peer, "You'll get your explanation soon. You just have to watch a little bit more. After this scene, we will run through everything else before you meet the higher power that brought you here."

Everyone glanced at each other intrigued.

The Beast Titan crumbled up a large boulder between his hands. Hearing the faint neighing of horses and screaming, he looked up curiously. Three dust clouds were moving through the destroyed town, heading for the edge. The cries became louder.

"Ok what's going on?" Erwin asked standing up.

Ymir looked to the Commander and answered, "The Battle to Re-take Shingashina. You successfully resealed the gate in the district but you were ambushed by the Beast, Cart, Armoured and Colossal Titans, effectively blocking off your escape. You, Erwin, are leading the recruits to charge the Beast Titan, who has been throwing rocks to decimate you. You've already lost Dirk, Marlene and Klaus squad to the barrage."

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! NOOOOO! NOT AGAIN!"

Everyone turned to Zeke who was repeatedly smacking himself in the face, with Porco and Pieck on either side of him looking confused and disturbed, respectively. 'There is no way I called that! Their fucking Commander is next?! ARE YOU BEING FUCKING SERIOUS?!'

Dirk and Klaus were in the audience, having accompanied the Scouts on the 57th expedition. They both glared hatefully at Zeke, knowing he'd be responsible for their deaths in the future.

"Charge!" Erwin screamed, leading several groups of Scouts.

"Well, I figured they wouldn't lie down and die, but… A suicide charge?" He stood up from his sitting position. "Here I was thinking they could do better than that…" The Beast Titan stood, beginning to raise his arm.

"Now! Fire!" Erwin fired off a green smoke round. The soldiers followed suit.

"Smoke?" The Beast Titan said as the three groups released many smoke rounds. "Oh, it's those signal things…" He brought his hands above his head, getting ready to throw.

Erwin grunted and said, "Tsk. It's coming, move!"

Faces full of terror, the soldiers screamed, splitting off.

Hange swallowed. Mike. Levi. Erwin. Why were their friends dying so soon? Mike was eaten alive, Levi was shredded by shrapnel, what would Erwin look like? Hange looked to the Commander. The Beast Titan throwing a barrage of rocks? Hange tried to not imagine their friend peppered with holes. All of them would die by Zeke Yeager's hand. Hange's face hardened, they'll be damned if they end up dying to Yeager too.

"I'm announcing our final operation!" Erwin bellowed to the remaining soldiers. Floch, Gordon and Sandra looked up at the Commander.

"All troops, line up! We will be doing a cavalry charge. Our goal: To rush the Beast Titan." Erwin and Levi stood before the Scouts gathered before them. "Of course, we'll be making ourselves ideal targets."

Annie squinted her eyes. 'Marlowe? What are you doing there? Is this your way of reforming the MP's?'

"So we'll wait until he's ready to throw and fire our smoke signals together. That should reduce his accuracy somewhat. While we're acting as a decoy, Captain Levi will kill the Beast Titan. That is our plan."

"What?" Levi flew along the Wall, remembering asking Erwin as he knelt, readying his gear. "You want me to go after him with just ODM gear? He's standing in an empty area. There's not even a house or tree in sight."

"Wrong…" Erwin told him. "There happens to be a line of objects at just the right height."

Levi fired an anchor into the neck of one of the 15-meter Titans that stood on the edge.

The Titan shifted its eyes to Levi but didn't move otherwise.

"Sneak close using the Titans…" Erwin's voice narrated as Levi took out the Titan's nape and moved to the next one. "...and assassinate the Beast Titan."

In the corner of his eye, Levi could see the suicide charge. "I'm sorry..." Levi said as the soldiers continued their mad run.

Levi's eyes closed. 'More sacrifices Erwin? More?! Just so I might have a chance at beating this bastard?'

In the flashback, the recruits stared at Erwin in shock. A brown haired girl fell to her knees and vomited.

"Standing and waiting just means we'll be showered by more boulders. Get ready on the double!" Erwin said to them.

"Are we all…heading…to our deaths?" A ginger haired boy asked him.

"Yes."

"If we're gonna die anyway, you're saying it's better…if we die fighting?"

"Yes."

"Wait…" The boy's voice shook. "If we're gonna die anyway, no matter how we die, even if it's disobeying orders, it all means nothing, right?"

"You're precisely right," Erwin said plainly.

The boy gasped in shock as Erwin continued. "It's all meaningless. No matter what dreams or hopes you had… No matter how blessed a life you've lived…"

The Beast Titan threw more projectiles.

"It's all the same if you're shredded by rocks. Everyone will die someday. Does that mean life is meaningless?" Erwin asked.

Rocks rained down heavily, heading straight for the crying, charging soldiers.

"Was there even any meaning in our being born? Would you say that of our fallen comrades?" Erwin asked the recruits. "Their lives… Were they meaningless?" Phantoms of past comrades appeared behind Erwin and Levi. Erwin grimaced. "No, they weren't! It's us who gives meaning to our comrade's lives!"

Much like Captain Levi's speech, all the soldiers straightened at the Commander's tone.

"The brave fallen! The anguished fallen! The ones who will remember them…are us, the living! We die trusting the living who follow to find meaning in our lives!"

Speechless, the recruits listened with tears in their eyes.

"That is the sole method in which we can rebel against this cruel world!"

"Few people could have inspired these teens to go and die." Magath said in partial awe.

With green smoke flares and rocks flying above them, the soldiers raced on.

"My soldiers, rage!" Erwin screamed from the forefront of the charge.

The Scouts stood and cheered, "YEAH! Let's go Commander!"

"My soldiers, scream!"

Falco and Udo, too caught up in the speech, jumped out of their seats and began screaming and cheering with the rest of the Scouts. Zofia was expressionless, and Gabi half-heartedly glared at them.

"My soldiers, fight!"

"Avenge us, Comman-" Gelgar started.

Blood exploded as the thrown rocks met the Scouts dead on.

The screaming from the Scouts collectively died out all at once.

One rock went straight through the head of Erwin's horse while another shot through the left of his abdomen.

Erwin began to fall.

Levi could hardly believe what he was seeing. It didn't seem possible yet it happened, or at least, it would happen. Watching Erwin fall was... unthinkable. He had witnessed the man continue to spur his subordinates on even as his arm was being chewed on by a Titan. His own death was a shock, for sure. Mike's death was not as improbable, and as much as he hated to admit it, he never expected his own squad to last past a year. Levi's head turned to the side and stared at Hange. He would never be able to determine when Hange would die. Other than the constant death threats he made himself, Hange's death was as unfathomable as Erwin's.

Levi looked back at the screen. What's to become of the Scouts without Commander Erwin to lead them?

Hange closed their eyes. 'We were taken away at the start of the Expedition. If what our host said was the truth; Levi squad would die on that day. Mike and his squad would to be killed by the Beast Titan in the following days. And then Erwin and Levi.' Hange's breath hitched. 'Erwin and the last of the veteran Scouts would be killed in the wall reclamation. And Levi, would he succeed against the Beast Titan only to die moments later? Is that what we saw? But where am I? I saw myself on the wall when Bertholdt and Reiner transformed. But I wasn't there when Erwin went to go save Eren. Did I die too? Is that why I'm not at the suicide charge alongside Erwin?' Hange felt hot tears run down their cheeks. Hange could not open their eyes, for fear of their fellow couch-mates seeing their weakness.

One thing for sure, the hatred for Zeke was increasing. So much so, most of the Scouts in the room stood up and headed towards Zeke, to give him a piece of their mind. They had all stopped when they saw Zeke was no longer sitting down. They followed Pieck and Porco's gazes to see Zeke, panting, arms flapping wildly, running up the stairs before turning the corner and quickly slamming the door to his room. The viewing room was so quiet, everyone could hear scraping above as Zeke had proceeded to block the door with most of the furniture in the room.

Unsure of how to react, everyone sat back down and lamented the death of Commander Erwin.

There was one person reacting in her own way. While her Warriors in training felt slightly off about being around so many Paradis Eldians, finding out that they had no idea what their ancestors did had mellowed them out somewhat.

Not Gabi though. While she would still glare at Falco and Udo for enjoying the speeches the tall, blonde guy kept giving, she couldn't bring herself to call the Paradis people, devils, anymore. Don't get it wrong, she still believes they should all atone for their ancestors sins. But she also knew that she couldn't believe Marley's lies about Paradis anymore 'There are no devils on that island. There's only people. People who have every right to hate us.' Gabi shook herself as the screen turned on again.

'Wait, why am I on the screen? Is it showing my death? No, wait.' She tilted her head to the side.

'Who am I aiming that rifle at?'

Damn its been a long time coming. This was meant to be uploaded a few weeks ago but i kept changing the reactions, then i thought i was showing too much too soon and shortened it, then i thought the chapter wasn't long enough so i edited it again. I think you all know whats coming on next, judging by Gabi's last line.

Also, who are these keepers of reality, and what are they trying to stop?

Please leave a review on what you think will happen next and I would love to see your theories on who, or what Azadi, Afl and Mawdue are.

Until next time...
