Venator Class Star destroyer. En route to Utapau system.

R4-P17 stood next to Obi-Wan as she began projecting a hologram of the planet Utapau for his clone battalion to follow.

"Fortunately, most of the cities are concentrated on this small continent here . . . on the far side," Commander Cody started.

"I'll keep them distracted until you get there. Just don't take too long," Obi-Wan replied.

"Come on, boss, when have I ever let you down?" They both laughed at this.

"Cato Nemoidia . . . for starters," the Jedi chuckled as he and R4 climbed into their ETA-2.

"That was Anakin who was late, I believe," Cody continued.

"Very well, the burden is on me not to destroy all the droids before you get there."

"I'm counting on you," the clone commander finished.

Now leaving hyperspace. Welcome to the Utapau system, Master, R4 beeped.

"Let's hope our sources were correct," Obi-Wan said.

As they touched down on the sink hole-ridden planet, all seemed normal. However, the Jedi master couldn't help but have a bad feeling. Upon exiting his fighter, Obi-Wan was met by the master of port administration, Tion Medon. R4 found the man a bit creepy with his sharp teeth and black eyes.

"Greetings, young Jedi. What brings you to our remote sanctuary?;" Tion welcomed him.

"Unfortunately, the war," Obi-Wan grimly replied.

"There is no war here unless you've brought it with you."

"With your kind permission, I should like some fuel and to use your city as a base as I search nearby systems for General Grievous."

Tion obliged, calling some of his people over to refuel Kenobi's starfighter.

Hello!; R4 whistled sweetly to the crew. They didn't seem to notice the little droid. Ok, good talk.

Tion Medon walked closer to the Jedi, gesturing for him to listen.

"He is here! We are being held hostage. They are watching us," he whispered.

"I understand," Obi-Wan replied.

"The tenth level . . . thousands of Battle Droids . . .;" the man continued.

"Tell your people to take shelter. If you have warriors, now is the time," Obi-Wan instructed before seeing Tion off and heading back to his fighter. R4 turned to him from her droid socket.

So what's going on?

"R4, take the Fighter back to the ship. I'm staying here. Tell Cody I've made contact."

Wait, why send me physically when we can just call Commander Cody from here?

"I'm hoping to catch Grievous off guard. I want you to go get Cody directly so that it looks like I'm leaving the planet."

Oh, I gotcha. Ok, you can count on me, Master. I won't let you down! And with that, she was off while Obi-Wan secretly went to go hunt down the unsuspecting droid general.

Commander Cody was quite confused when General Kenobi's fighter returned from Utapau….without Kenobi.

"Where's the general?;" he asked as the Jedi's fighter docked.

R4 honestly didn't know what she was expecting to see when she came back to Utapau with reinforcements. As she piloted his ship down alongside the clone dropships, she witnessed her master already engaged in a duel with General Grievous. More specifically, she witnessed him expertly slice off one of the general's four wrists before snapping another one off with his bare hand. The Jedi proceeded to force push Grievous into a wall, causing the cyborg to drop his two remaining lightsabers. Realising he was outnumbered and outmatched, Grievous quickly crawled away and climbed onto his wheel bike for a speedy getaway.

Master!; R4 called as she landed the starfighter next to Obi-Wan.

"R4, I need a lift! We can't lose Grievous now!;" he called before jumping onto the hull of his ETA-2. "Full speed ahead!"

You got it!; she replied as she gunned it.

Before long, they were in hot pursuit of the separatist general, chasing him through the cavernous streets of Utapau. Grievous attempted to fire at them with his D-57 blaster pistol, but Obi-Wan easily deflected each shot with his lightsaber. This went on until the ETA was hit by a falling rock, momentarily throwing Kenobi off balance and causing him to drop his weapon. R4 returned fire with the ship's turbolasers, but Grievous dodged every shot….except for one. The final blast managed to toss up the droid general's wheel bike, causing it to land hard on a landing platform and skid right off the edge. Grievous had been knocked clear from the crash, along with his spare electrostaff and blaster. He went for the staff but before he could reach it, Kenobi force pulled it into his hand as he jumped off of his fighter.

"R4 get out of here! Find a safe place for the ship!"

But Master-

"Go, go now! Don't worry about me, I shouldn't be long!"

Good luck master; R4 said as she piloted the ship down below the landing pad, leaving Kenobi to face Grievous alone.

"I stand corrected," Grievous shouted, "You are bold and stupid!"

The two generals proceeded to trade blows with Obi-Wan managing to get Grievous on his back whereupon he proceeded to jab the cyborg's chestplate. Grievous's reaction to this was to immediately kick Obi-Wan as hard as he could, flinging the man across the landing pad.

'Interesting, hiding something important under there, are we?;' Kenobi thought.

The combatants, now empty handed, proceeded to engage in fisticuffs. Obi-Wan got in close and, calling upon the force, partially pried open the two halves of Grievous's chestplate with his bare hands, exposing the general's remaining organs held within a green oil sac.

'Bingo;' was all he had time to think before he was backhanded away.

Grievous tried to stomp on Kenobi's head, as the Jedi just barely managed to evade. In retaliation Kenobi kneed Grievous in the shin...which worked about as well as he expected it to before he was thrown over the edge of the landing pad. He desperately grabbed at the edge, but couldn't manage a firm grip and seemingly fell into the massive sinkhole below.

"Farewell General Kenobi;" Grievous laughed as he turned to leave in his nearby starfighter.

Just then, Grievous heard the sound of something skittering behind him. He turned to see Kenobi laying on the hull of his ETA-2.

"Goodbye;" he called as he finished pulling Grievous's discarded blaster into his hand with the force and proceeded to shoot 5 blaster bolts into the stunned General's chest.

Grievous could only scream like Hell as the energy climbed up his spine, incinerating his brain and causing fire to burst from his mask's eye holes. And thus, the once proud Kaleesh warrior fell to the ground in a smoldering heap.

"So;" Obi-Wan summoned the most offensive of his vocabulary, "uncivilized.;" he finished, discarding the blaster.

I'm sorry Master; R4 whirred, I know you told me to go hide but I didn't want to leave you hanging.

"Not to worry old friend. You did technically follow my orders."

How so?

"I doubt many would think to look underneath a landing pad for my ship;" he joked.

Obi-Wan and R4 quickly made their way to join Cody and the troops.

"Commander;" Obi-Wan began from the hull of his starfighter, "contact your troops! Tell them to move to the higher levels!"

"Very good sir. Oh by the way, I think you'll be needing this.;" Cody replied, handing Obi-Wan his dropped lightsaber.

"Thank you Cody! Now let's get a move on, we've got a battle to win here!;" Obi-Wan said as he and his droid flew off.

Cody then got a transmission on his holocom.

"Commander Cody;" Palpatine's image appeared, "The time has come. Execute order 66."

"Yes my lord;" Cody replied.
