"Last time on Total Drama Lights, Camera, Finale," Chris said, standing at what appears to be the sandy shore of a beach. Flashbacks occur as he narrates.

"The Blazing Gaffers and Freezing Grips battled it out in a classic cartoon brawl filled with wild shenanigans. While the Gaffers bonded more, the Grips kept stinking more. Especially when Simon was pranking his teammates out of malice. But wait, turns out it was Georgia who pulled the pranks. Thanks to another loss, the Freezing Grips voted out Simon. That team cannot catch a break."

The flashbacks end. A general shot displays Chris actually on a beach set inside one of the soundstages of the film lot. The host is now wearing short khakis pants.

"We at Total Drama know our audience. So, how can we not have episode seven be the beach episode? It has been a tradition since Crowstillo Island. Which team will ride the waves to immunity? And which one will get a wipeout? Find out now on Total… Drama…" Chris looks around to make sure Chef or Casey will not interrupt him. The coast is clear. "Lights, Camera, Finale!"

The theme song for Total Drama has an orchestral vibe to it while still being groovy. A camera pops out of the entrance to the Crowstillo Caverns from Crowstillo Island. Another camera pops out from a carnival booth. Then one shows itself from a clothes racket at the film lot. A smooth transition occurs on Camp Wawanakwa's high cliff. The camera drone dives into the water around the cliff, creating a splash.

Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine

The full cast of Total Drama Island is shown inside the dodgeball court. Everyone is throwing dodgeballs at each other. It looks to be the Screaming Gophers on the left side of the court facing the Killer Bass on the right side of the court. Teens throw and get hit. Owen throws a fastball.

You guys are on my mind

The fast-moving dodgeball transitions to a tire. The camera pans out to show Duncan driving the Action Cast in a tram. He looks to be annoyed by Courtney's talking. This distracts him and crashes the tram with him and the cast into something off-screen. The smoke released from the tram enlarges.

You asked me what I wanted to be,

The smoke disappears to show the jumbo jet soaring in the sky.

and I think the answer is plain to see

The World Tour Cast jumps out of the jumbo jet with parachute bags. Alejandro winks at the audience before deploying his parachute. Quick zoom on the parachute.

I wanna be famous!

The parachute descends to show Cameron in his robotic suit fighting Lightning who has armor and carrying a mannequin leg with spikes at the 'coliseum' Chris build. The rest of the Revenge Cast are sitting at the bleachers cheering for either combatant. The fight ends when Cameron charges a ball of electricity on his iron suit's right fist and shoots at the camera. Though, it is clear it is for Lighting from the athlete's person of view.

I wanna live close to the sun

It is night and the blue madness full moon is glowing brightly. Mike inhales and turns into Mal. Someone throws Mr. Coconut at Mal's head off-screen to bring Mike back in control.

Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won

The camera pans to the right to show who throw Mr. Coconut. It is Zoey, who is smiling happily at getting her boyfriend back. The rest of the All-Stars cast is running away in the background from rabid fluffy rabbits.

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

Another transition displays itself. The Pahkitew Cast is inside the labyrinth of the artificial island running away from the scuba-bear and a mechanical orange cat. The cat stops to breathe fire from its mouth.

I'll get there one day

The fire stops and the next part shows the finalists of Crowstillo Island trying to complete the obstacle course. The rest of the cast is cheering for their favorite at the peanut gallery. Knick, Saraphina, and Casey take out one of their accessory clothes and throws it at the camera.

Cuz' I wanna be famous

The trench coat, scarf, and jacket fall from the camera lens. The Back to the Islands Cast is shown at Boney Island's Fun Zone using anti-mutant guns with the orange liquid in them to turn the mutants from the show into normal animals. Jeremy accidentally shoots some liquid at the camera.

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na

The cameraman wipes off the orange liquid with a small handkerchief. Once done, at a cliff of Crowstillo Island, Yves and Knick are shown doing a sword battle against King Crowstillo. In the background, the rest of the Radiant Cast faces off Henry in his robotic suit. Henry activates a laser cannon from the suit's left arm and unleashes a laser blast.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!

Once the laser blast disappears, the Sleek Slushies from the Calamity Cast are riding the roller coaster at the carnival. Some are frightened, some are having fun. Marty turns on his camera so he can take pictures of all the carnival rides he can see. He flashes the camera that is recording him.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!

Once the bright flash ends, the Glided Chris Awards stage is shown where all finalists from the previous nine seasons are getting ready to have a picture taken. All finalists, Chris, and Chef whistle. Once the song is over, the picture is taken and the intro ends.

The episode starts with Jett at the stone age set. He has his hands in his jean pockets, looking like he is waiting for something or someone. He walks around until stopping at the spot where he and the other contestants cracked the alien eggs.

"Looks like Chris doesn't pay his interns enough to clean some messes," Jett believed. He looks to his left and sees Melissa, Raymundo, and Kristie arriving. He smirks with delight as he takes out his hands from his pockets. He looks to his right to see Maverick, Edgar, and Niu arriving as well.

"Why did you bring us here?" Edgar got right to the point.

"First, I would like to say thank you all for coming," Jett told, grinning charismatically.

"Save the compliments and get on with it," Kristie said to him unamused.

"You should be glad I was going to give compliments," Jett told his teammate. "I only do that when I flirt with a girl."

"Like me?" Melissa teased.

"Uh… anyway, what do we seven have in common?" Jett asked.

"We're all hot and amazing," Raymundo answered proudly, getting chuckles.

"True, but there is something else we have in common," Jett agreed with Raymundo, but it was not the correct answer.

"We all are seventeen," Maverick happily spoke.

"Yes, that's true but we are missing the big picture here," Jett told the promoter.

"Oh, all of us are pre-mergers!" Niu declared excitedly.

"Bingo," Jett gave a thumbs up. "Which is why we seven should form an alliance. We can't have those mergers make it far again. Is time for all of us to shine. We're the underdogs. The fan favorites. Do people really want to see the same glory hogs take what should be ours?"

Edgar, Maverick, and Niu look at each other, unsure if this is a good idea.

"I would like to make it far," Raymundo admitted, being slowly convinced. "As long there's no manipulation and devious acts that we have to perform count me in. But if I see shady stuff going on I'm out."

"You're that easy to be manipulated?" Kristie is disappointed at the beach bro. She walks up to Jett and presents him as a selling product. "Come on you all, this is Jett. He despises every single one of us for just standing next to him. He's just doing this alliance for himself. Once he sees a possible better opportunity, he's going to abandon us."

"Yeah, sorry man," Maverick apologized. "But we were teammates last season, and you were, to put it lightly, a massive jerk."

Jett smirks at the promoter. "Oh, the so call alpha man actually has some hidden thoughts about me. I wonder how many hidden thoughts you have for your teammates." He sees Maverick narrowing his eyes at him.

"You are not helping your case, Jett," Niu told the Freezing Grip. She has calmed down from her craziness last episode. To an extent. "I'm fine doing this, what should we call it? Pre-merge Alliance. At the moment the pros outweigh the cons. Strength in numbers."

"I'm still skeptical though," Edgar said.

"You should," Kristie crossed her arms. "Jett would probably rat us out."

Melissa gets in front of Kristie to talk with her teammate. "Okay Kristie, I know you are mad about what Jett did, but don't let that blind you from this great alliance. With us in an alliance, we can take out our Crowstillo teammates plus Daniela if we ever lose again."

"Yeah, in a tiebreaker most likely," Kristie muttered as she puts her arms down. She gives the alliance idea more thought. "She is your friend Melissa. You're seriously teaming up with the guy who is responsible for her elimination?"

Melissa breathes in and out. "She's not here anymore Kristie. I have to continue and win the game the best way I can. Just like you need to as well."

Kristie decides to accept the offer. "Fine, I'll join. Only because it is safer than being against you all."

"What about you two?" Melissa asked Maverick and Edgar.

"I'll think about it," Edgar answered.

"Me too," Maverick added. The two Blazing Gaffers leave the stone age set. Niu follows them.

Raymundo and Kristie go their separate ways. Melissa stays with Jett for a small conversation.

"I'm surprised you wanted to do this. I know you're still looking out for yourself at the end, but this was nice," Melissa smiled.

"Well, I took some advice from a member," Jett turned around with his own slight smile. "Start thinking of others." He puts a hand on Melissa's right shoulder. "See you at breakfast." He walks away.

Confessional – Jett – Freezing Grips

"I had this plan of just teaming up with the pre-mergers from my team, but after what Melissa told me last elimination ceremony, I figured is best to gain more allies. I like how she's willing to be craftier."

Confessional – Melissa – Freezing Grips

"It's a start. I like how he's willing to be more helpful."

Confessional – Niu – Blazing Gaffers

She is writing on a piece of paper with a pencil. "Doing an alliance this massive was not in my plans, but this is too good to pass up. I need to tell Buck about this and let him know what's going on. From there we can strategize on how to proceed with the game, make it to the finale together, win the game, buy our own house, get married…" She stops writing, realizing what she was saying. She writes on the paper. "Note to self, need more control."

End Confessionals

Maverick and Edgar are arriving at the exercise course the Blazing Gaffer boys built. They notice Pharaoh on the course while Lucy and Janet are watching the fake royal.

"Thinking about it more, it's probably a smart move to join the alliance," Edgar told Maverick. "I think Buck and Niu are together, which is an extra vote for us in the time being if the team loses."

"Yeah, but I don't like the fact that Jett is behind all this. Kristie has a point. He could potentially just rat us out during the challenge about us in an alliance with just you, Niu, and I," Maverick is still not convinced.

"Then we just tell his team he made the alliance in the first place," Edgar responded. "I don't know the guy, but it would be a very high-risk high reward making an alliance and then in less than a day reveal it to everyone. Plus, Janet gave me the advice to check out the body language. Jett was being serious on the proposition."

Maverick notices the emo's smile after mentioning Janet. He shows a teasing smirk. "Janet huh? She sure is attractive, isn't she?"

"Uh, yeah, I guess she's nice looking," Edgar answered, trying not to smile.

"Dude, you totally dig her," Maverick is happy for his teammate. The two Gaffers stop walking, already at the exercise course. "You've been smiling recently."

"That doesn't prove anything," Edgar said, wanting this conversation to end.

"What doesn't prove anything?" Janet asked, being in front of the boys and looking at them. Lucy joins her, holding hand towels.

"Oh, nothing," Edgar quickly answered. He heads to the start of the obstacle course and climbs the wall.

"What's up with him?" Janet asked Maverick.

"He's just excited to do more exercise," Maverick told the space geek. He has a point. Edgar is blazing through the obstacle course.

"Sweet is nice of him working out his muscles," Janet replied joyfully. She turns to face the obstacle course, sits on the ground, and watches Edgar and Pharaoh go through the monkey bars.

"You're going to do some exercise too?" Maverick asked Lucy.

"Oh, me? I did give it some thought, but I don't want to hurt myself because of a distraction," Lucy said composed.

"Distraction?" Maverick wondered. What could his teammate be distracted with?

Meredith and Buford arrive holding hands.

"Have to help out with Chris for the challenge today. We'll chat again later," Meredith told her boyfriend. She gently kisses Buford's right cheek.

"Are you sure you can't stay watching me work out?" Buford said with a sly smile, flexing his muscles to make Meredith blush.

"Oh, stop it handsome I have work to do," Meredith looked away with her cheeks red.

Confessional – Lucy – Blazing Gaffers

"The distraction I was talking to Maverick was Pharaoh. I don't want to make any potential scenes where my teammates will figure out that I like him." She chuckles. "Though, I guess it wouldn't hurt Pharaoh and I exercising alone."

Confessional – Maverick – Blazing Gaffers

"Looks like Edgar might be crushing on Janet. It is charming, never would expect Edgar to get a crush on someone here in the show. The dude needs help though. And I will gladly promote that help."

Sua is sitting on a log around the campfire next to the trailers. She has a jukebox next to her playing the Total Drama theme song K-pop version.

"Hey Sua, you got a moment," Buck asked as he arrived. He sees the jukebox. "Whoa, where did you get this?"

"Oh, I found this in the storage place. I asked Meredith to let me in there to find anything interesting and behold, I found this," Sua answered contently.

"Why does Chef, Chris, or even Casey keep a jukebox in the storage place?" Buck wondered.

Sua shrugs smiling, not knowing the answer. She pats the log to let Buck know he can sit next to her. The MacGyver does so.

"What's the matter?" Sua asked.

"Well, it is Niu. She's awesome and she's trying to be more laid back, but all that is doing is making her a bit more unstable. I was wondering if you can help us deal with that issue since you've been getting better not unleashing your psycho self," Buck kindly requested.

"Sure, this will be fun. I can even act as a psychologist for her," Sua agreed happily.

"You're studying psychology?" Buck asked surprised.

"No, I just acted like one for a music video," Sua answered. "Don't worry, I imagine it is practically the same thing."

Confessional – Buck – Blazing Gaffers

"Maybe asking Sua for help wasn't a good idea."

End Confessional

Raymundo and Kristie are sitting at the Freezing Grips table inside the crafts and services tent.

"Still don't trust this alliance?" Raymundo asked Kristie.

"I don't trust Jett," Kristie responded coldly.

"Settle down there Yves," Raymundo joked.

"Sorry," Kristie apologized. "Is hard for me to want to work with him. Even then, there's never been an alliance this big in Total Drama ever. So, I'm skeptical on how this will play out."

"I don't why you're making this a big deal. We have to work with him anyway because he is our teammate. What difference does it make now?" Raymundo questioned the skepticism. "Besides, we don't have to vote off the person he wants gone if we lose. He needs us so we have the advantage."

"Wow, when you put it like that it does sound like I'm being doubtful all for nothing," Kristie realized. "We do have the advantage over Jett."

"Advantage over Jett? What do you mean by that?" Daniela asked as she sits next to her teammates. "Come clean because if not I will be instigating this all day."

"Aren't you supposed to be with Knick at the moment?" Kristie asked, ignoring the question.

"I was, but he's helping Christopher and Sara deal with some relationship stuff," Daniela answered. "Now tell me why you two have an advantage over Jett."

Raymundo and Kristie look at each other then back at Daniela, wondering what to say.

"Well, I have more strength than Jett," Raymundo told the stuntwoman.

"Yeah, and I have knowledge of how the winners worked their way to the top," Kristie added. "That's why Ray and I have an advantage over Jett." She does a flirtatious smirk at Daniela. "Do you have an advantage over Jett, chica?"

"You know I have a boyfriend," Daniela told the Total Drama fan unamused.

"That didn't stop Alejandro from charming Bridgette," Kristie's smirks get wider. "Why don't I give you a massage." She starts rubbing her right hand on Daniela's shoulder.

Daniela takes Kristie's hand off her with annoyance. "Funny, I don't remember any winner flirting with the competition. Or are you just that desperate for attention because you don't get it in your house?"

"I can say the same thing for you," Kristie glared. "Considering your older sister is the favorite child."

Raymundo watches the two ladies retort each other. He looks away with a frown.

Confessional – Raymundo – Freezing Grips

"Guess I need to be more strategic now that the Pre-Merge Alliance is here. I already made it farther than my previous run, but I definitely will not mind staying longer. Despite my teammates' issues, the ride has been going well. Except for losing four times in a row. That hurts more than the shark bite I almost got during one of my surfing rides."

End Confessional

"So, you two are having competition issues," Knick stated to Christopher and Saraphina. All three of them are sitting at a table inside the broken-down hotel set. "Christopher wants to be more competitive and a bit ruthless against his enemies while you Sara have a feeling this will get over his head."

"Exactly," Sara replied gratefully. "Glad we can agree what is the problem."

"There's no problem with that. The problem is that you want to be competitive and uncaring for others," Christopher told his girlfriend. "I don't understand why you want to be like that, and I can't."

"I'm not going to go uncaring. These are still my teammates after all. Just no hard feelings when it comes to voting," Sara responded with tranquility.

"We do that all the time in this show Sara," Christopher replied dryly. "We're obligated to vote someone off if we lose."

"Honestly, I have to side with Christopher on this one," Knick stated, astonishing Sara. He looks at his friend. "You're not even giving him a chance on showing what he can do. You got to trust he will not cross any unnecessary lines." He then looks at Christopher. "And you, you know your girlfriend more than anyone on this cast. You know what lines you should and should not cross. Don't push any boundaries. But yeah, Sara, give him this opportunity."

Sara looks at her boyfriend regretfully. "Sorry for not trusting you. Knick's right. I should be letting you do what you believe will help us in the game."

The couple holds hands together.

"Thanks for understanding," Christopher forgave. The couple shares a kiss on the lips.

Knick looks away from them continuing to make out. He frowns, remembering the short time he spent with Yves.

Inside the Blazing Gaffers girl trailer, Georgia is putting cards on her bed. Each card has a picture of a remaining contestant in the game.

"Hmm, this is going to be difficult to figure out," The actress told herself. "My first plan was to eliminate all the calamity mergers. However," She grabs a card with Buford's face on it. "Once I got Jett into an alliance, I need him to stay. Then last challenge I was planning to self-sabotage to get rid of Sua, but Jett needed my assistance for making a fool of himself. Simon wasn't a target for a long time, but he was the easiest to make quick work of."

Georgia looks at herself in the cheval mirror as she puts back the Buford card on her bed. "I guess Sua can be useful for me to some extent. But now the question is, what's my next step for eliminating a competitor?" She looks back at her cards.

The speakers throughout the film lot turn on. "Attention teams," Chris' voice is heard from the speakers. "Breakfast is ready. All of you have one hour to eat and digest before heading to soundstage seven. Where each contestant will be wearing a bathing suit for today's challenge!"

"Bathing suit day," Georgia said. She looks at her cards and picks one, not showing it to the camera's view. "I guess you will have to do for now."

Both teams arrive inside soundstage seven. Each contestant is wearing a swimsuit. All the competitors are shivering from the freezing air conditioner inside the soundstage. They are standing on the sand side of the beach set like Chris was when narrating the flashbacks. They see the nice waves of water moving up and down slowly. There are props on the sand. Those were beach balls, colorful lounging chairs, and big umbrellas sticking from the sand.

Chris, Casey, and Chef are happily drinking hot chocolate to not feel the cold from the intense power the air conditioner in the set is bestowing. The three hosts are on the other side of the soundstage where sand nor water is placed.

"Maybe we should cuddle with one another to keep our warmth," Janet kindly suggested to the rest of the contestants on set. She is wearing a baby blue and white fifties style two-piece.

Daniela immediately hugs Knick. The journalist looks impassive, not enjoying the hug but lets Daniela keep doing it for warmth. He is wearing blue swim shorts with a white sleeveless shirt. Daniela has on a black one-piece swimsuit.

Christopher and Sara cuddle, with the kung fu warrior using his left arm to lift up his girlfriend to reach his face. He simply has blue trunks while Sara has her two-piece black swimsuit, showing the scars she has obtained from fights during her orphanage days.

Raymundo winks at Kristie for some snuggling. He has on the same black swim trunks with tropical leaf patterns. Kristie shrugs as a response, not minding being close to her teammate. She is wearing a black one-piece like Daniela.

"Want some heat? I have plenty," Jett approached Melissa as he offered. He only has on a pair of plaid boxers.

Melissa giggles. She is wearing her black bodysuit. "No thanks, I'm good," She kindly denied, despite having her arms crossed and still shivering.

"Wow, going to leave me out to die in the cold," Jett exaggerated for fun.

"You would do the same," Melissa countered.

Buck looks to his right to see Niu having her mouth open, checking out his chest and stomach. The southern is just wearing red plaid swim trunks.

"Uh, we're together now. You can come to me," Buck said to his girlfriend, opening his arms for Niu to embrace him.

Niu's cheeks flush a bright red. She has a light blue one-piece on her. She runs to her boyfriend and hugs him. Then she rubs Buck's back with her hands and rubs the left side of her face on his chest.

"Never thought I would be touching your body this soon," Niu commented, drooling a bit from the sight. "It feels so good."

Buck is freaked out by this but decides to let it play out. Maybe Niu will stop?

Maverick chuckles at this. He is wearing trim knee-length swim trunks that are blue with black stripes. The promoter is also wearing blue with black stripe swimming sandals. He looks at Edgar and signals the emo to warm up Janet.

Edgar silently accepts this and stands next to the space geek without looking at her. His swimwear consists of black trunks with a black tank top. He has a ton of sunscreen on him despite being inside a film set.

"Hey, um, you want some warmth?" Edgar asked his teammate, completely nervous about doing this.

"Oh," Janet is surprised by this. Nevertheless, she smiles with compassion. "Sure, I don't mind."

Edgar opens his arms and slowly tries to hug Janet.

"Here, let me help," Janet offered as she hugs Edgar lovingly. "See, is not that hard."

Edgar freezes up, not knowing how to deal with someone hugging him.

"Just bring your arms closer and put your hands on my back," Janet instructed.

Edgar does what the space geek said.

Maverick decides not to be close to anyone. Neither Sua nor Georgia. Even Buford, though that is due to the fact his girlfriend is approaching the hosts.

Buford has on grey swimming trunks. Sua has a magenta rash guard with matching shorts and Georgia is wearing a red one-piece swimsuit with her white gloves. The actress notices Pharaoh hugging Lucy.

Lucy is showing off her black two-piece swimsuit while Pharaoh is in his black thong. Georgia looks away, trying to not feel jealous.

"Teams, all of you are looking fine as ever," Chris complimented. "Don't worry, all of you will chill out in this challenge." Several contestants groan at the pun he made.

"But first, Meredith with her facts," Casey informed. "Take it away intern."

"The Big House, a prison film, was released in 1930. It was directed by George W. Hill and Ward Wing. It's one of the first prison films ever made in history and has influenced many prison movies till this day that involves escaping the place," Meredith said to the contestants.

"Prison? But this is a beach set," Raymundo pointed out.

"And a prison for are you criminals," Chef answered, grinning mischievously. He takes out a remote control from his pants pocket. He presses a button on it.

All of a sudden, a giant silver metal cage falls from the roof and captures all the contestants in the beach set.

"Hmm, I was questioning why there was a giant cage hanging from the roof when we got inside," Sua told.

"Pretty sure all of us were questioning it. We just chose not to say anything," Knick said to the idol.

"Now for the beach film fact," Meredith excitedly said. "At least in the United States, the movie Gidget in 1959 produced a big wave of entertainment for beach movies the following decade in the 1960s."

"Now with those facts out of the way, is time to discuss today's challenge," Chris announced. "This is a beach set, but all of you are prisoners. So, it is not a fun time for anybody. Luckily, a cop dropped a key in the sand that will allow an escape. Whichever player digs up the key from the sand to open the lock from the cage wins the challenge for his or her team. Is simple but considering how much sand the interns put all of you can be stuck here for hours. Now, let the challenge commence!"

Instead of both teams doing the challenge, the majority of them head to the lounge chairs to sit on. Others sit on the sand or get under an umbrella. Then a few put towels on the sand to lay down on the towel.

Chris, Chef, and Casey look confused at this.

"Uh, hello, the challenge has started," Chris repeated to the contestants. "Everybody is supposed to be digging."

"We're good for now," Maverick told McLean, sitting on a lounge chair.

"Wh-what do you mean you're good for now?" Chris' confusion increases.

"We've been playing your games for such a long time now," Sara said, being under an umbrella with Christopher. "Now we have an opportunity to kick back and relax. In a beach setting."

Christopher chuckles. "What are the odds of that?"

"You said the challenge is to find the key in the sand, but you never gave a timer for us when to finish," Maverick added. "Besides, you can't obligate us with time since I'm pretty confident the only way to open the cage is with that specific key. So, all of us going to take our much-needed break from the competition."

"Is the key in the sand the only one that opens the cage?" Chris whispered to Chef. Chef nods, confirming his worries. "Alright fine, be that way. You contestants can have your fun."

"Meredith, get over here," Casey told the intern.

Chris, Chef, Casey, and Meredith huddle together.

"We need to find a way to get someone to look for the key and open it," Chris told the three. "I can't have them stay in the set for more than today. We're on a schedule here."

Chef, Casey, and Meredith nod. All three are willing to help.

At the beach set, several contestants are playing volleyball. Pharaoh, Lucy, Maverick, and Buford for the Blazing Gaffers while Christopher, Sara, Kristie, and Raymundo for the Freezing Grips. There is a volleyball net attached to two long pipes that are standing in the sand. Buford serves first and the two sides go back and forth hitting the volleyball.

Pharaoh is able to do a spike on the volleyball, sending it to the ground next to Kristie who is unable to hit it in time.

"Great job Pharoah," Lucy complimented.

"Thanks, nice teamwork skills," Pharaoh flattered back.

The two Gaffers see a volleyball pass through them and hit the ground. The four Freezing Grips high-five each other.

"I know we're relaxing but still, both of you get your head in the game," Buford told Lucy and Pharaoh as he picked up the volleyball.

Lucy looks away, having her cheeks flush a tiny amount. Maverick is able to notice this.

While the eight continue playing, Georgia watches them while suntanning on a lounge chair. Even though she is inside a set and the sun is outside. She looks somewhat miffed at seeing Lucy and Pharaoh having fun together.

"Let it go. He's no longer interested in you," Georgia told herself. She frowns. "And you shouldn't either."

Edgar is under an umbrella receiving shade from the lights on set. He is far away from the people playing volleyball, so the noise is not so grand. However, staying in the shade by himself increases the cold factor from the air conditioners.

"What are you doing all the way over here?" Janet asked Edgar. She twirls her hair. "May I sit with you?"

"Sure, I wanted to be alone for my relaxation, but I don't mind your company," Edgar smiled. Janet sits next to him. "How come you're not playing volleyball with the others?"

"I'm not a sports person," Janet answered as she watches the game from afar. "You probably already know by now my specialty is astronomies, space, planets. Basically, anything that does not have to deal with Earth." She smiles at Edgar.

"Yeah, I'm not a sports person either. I'm just doing exercise to gain some muscle and hang out with our teammates. I don't have many things in common with them, but the obstacle course is that one place we get together and have fun," Edgar conversated.

"That's nice. I guess I should do some exercise too. Just so I can lift stuff up and not be a complete twig," Janet giggled.

"You're not a twig," Edgar told the space geek, surprised to hear that. "Sure, you're not physically strong, but your body is…" He hesitates to say what is on his mind.

"Hmm, my body is what?" Janet wondered. "What do you think of my body?"

"Is, uh…" Edgar looks away from his teammate. He is terrified that he will slip up his chance of getting finally a friend here on the show. Maybe even something more. He feels Janet's head lying on his right shoulder.

"Is okay not to tell me. I know you're nervous. Let's just do what we are supposed to do. Relax and have fun," Janet told the emo.

Edgar blushes. "Yeah, let's just do that."

Knick is writing in his journal close to the volleyball game. Like Edgar, he is under an umbrella.

"You really are the quiet type, aren't you?" Daniela told the journalist as she approached him.

"I can't write if I'm having distractions," Knick stated.

"What are you writing about?" Daniela generously asked as she sit down next to Knick.

"About the volleyball game with my own take on it. I could do some journalism on some tournaments after the game is over," Knick answered.

"Have you ever thought of making a movie based on one of your books? Maybe you can use a stunt woman? Someone as strong and eccentric as me?" Daniela suggested with a smirk.

"Most of my writing comes from exposing the real truths behind companies, influencers, and competitions," Knick said to his fan. "So, I feel like the only possible way to get a film is based on a true story."

"Never say never," Daniela replied as she got up. "I'll leave you alone with your writing for now."

"If only you had the same caring attitude with the rest of our teammates," Knick stated.

"You and I both know is fun to mess with the minds of others," Daniela responded.

"I play the game to my advantage the best way I can. Our tactics are different. If it wasn't for Jett, you wouldn't be here right now. Change up your strategy. That's what I've been doing for every run," Knick advised.

Daniela ponders about it as she leaves Knick alone. Elsewhere, Jett and Melissa are both sitting on a separate towel. Melissa has her back turned around from the volleyball game. She can hear the ball be hit constantly, causing herself to flinch every time it contacts a hand or arms.

"This is sad to look at," Jett told his alliance member. "Everyone agreed to not participate in the challenge, and here you are. Twitching every time, the ball is swung."

"I cannot help it," Melissa admitted. "Besides, it will be fine. I just need to think of other stuff to keep my mind off that."

"You can think of me," Jett flirted as he lay down on the towel so Melissa can see his face.

Melissa giggles as she rolls her eyes. "Yeah, let me think of your mysterious gray eyes, that messy blonde hair…" The two alliance members stare at each other.

"Go on," Jett insisted teasingly.

"Those are the only two good things about you," Melissa dryly said. She turns around to not look at the runaway. However, once she sees the game, she immediately goes back to look at Jett.

"I know, its hard to resist me," Jett kept on joking.

"Shut up," Melissa crossed her arms. "I don't see you complimenting me."

"Oh, so you want me to talk about you. Need some attention or is this a self-esteem issue?" Jett wandered smiling.

"I can say the same thing for you," Melissa countered happily.

"Weakling," Jett retorted.

"Hobo," Melissa shot back.

The volleyball being used at the game rolls next to the two. Jett grabs the ball.

"I know how we can get them to stop playing," Jett told the athletic nerd. "Follow my lead."

Both Freezing Grips stand up and head to the match.

"Hey there, Melissa and I were wondering if we can join the game," Jett told the eight players.

Maverick, Kristie, and Raymundo keep quiet. They want to say no, but they are in an alliance with Jett and Melissa. Sara and Christopher do not want to say no because they are teammates with them.

"We just finished," Buford told Jett. He walks away. His fellow Gaffers follow him.

Jett and Melissa watch their teammates separate and go their own ways.

"There, I helped you out. No need to thank me," Jett smugly told Melissa.

Another area around the beach set near the waves is Niu laying down on a lounge chair. Buck is laying on the same chair as her. Sua is close by sitting on a towel with her legs crossed. The idol has on magenta square frame glasses and a green tie with her bathing suit. She is also holding a pen and notepad.

Sua opens the notepad and pretends to be writing on it for flare. "Alright, tell me, Niu, what seems to be troubling so much?"

"Sua, I already told you what's the issue," Niu responded sincerely.

"Yes, but I need you to tell me again as a reminder," Sua said calmly.

"I don't think is going to work out," Niu looked at her boyfriend.

"Give her a chance. I'm positive everything will turn out all right," Buck assured. Niu and he look at Sua.

"I've been trying to be freer will but all it does is turn me crazy. Crazier than I normally am," Niu said to Sua.

"Oh, shucks Niu, you're not that crazy," Buck informed his girlfriend. He closes his eyes and sighs happily.

"There's a lot of things I want to do with you right now," Niu said to Buck. "But there are too many witnesses."

"And I'm opening my eyes," Buck said, not wanting Niu to do anything to him while sleeping.

"This is the perfect time to twine into deep relaxation. None of us are caring about the challenge. So Niu, I need you to close your eyes and think of the stuff that relaxes you," Sua instructed.

"Stacking papers is relaxing for me," Niu said happily as she closes her eyes.

Confessional – Sua – Blazing Gaffers

"Who finds stacking papers relaxing?"

End Confessional

"Now, just keep stacking in your mind," Sua kept on, making her voice softer.

Seeing his girlfriend comforting, Buck grabs Niu's left hand with his right hand. Feeling the touch, Niu opens her eyes, and her cheeks get red.

"Relaxing can wait," Niu grinned. She gets on top of Buck and rubs his chest with her hands. "I didn't think you would want to do this so soon."

"Niu, it was just holding hands," Buck said, not understanding why the goal digger is acting like this.

"But I just don't want to hold hands. I want to kiss you, rub your hair, maybe even have that pen spray ink on me," Niu began huffing and puffing.

"Niu," Buck exclaimed as his cheeks flushed red. "Too soon."

"I'll be taking my leave now," Sua said, not wanting to be with her two teammates anymore. "Oh, and here's the bill for helping out." She gives a paper to Buck. "Therapy sessions aren't cheap." She gets up, takes her towel, and walks away.

"Wait, no, Sua, don't leave me here like this," Buck panicked.

"Shh, relax handsome, that's what we are supposed to do," Nui whispered softly as she puts an index finger on Buck's lip. "Don't worry, I'm collective. Collective for you."

"I, I need an adult," Buck whimpered.

"Don't worry, I can be your adult," Niu giggled mischievously.

Buck gets out of the chair and screams away from his girlfriend.

"Come on, it was only going to be kisses on the lips," Niu guaranteed loudly. "And the cheek, and the neck, and pretty much all over your face."

Chris, Chef, Casey, and Meredith have returned with ways to figure out how to get some contestants to participate in the challenge. Chef passes a bull horn megaphone to Chris. Casey passes a silver case to Chris.

"Attention teams! I have in this case with me one thousand dollars," Chris announced while using the bull horn megaphone. "Whoever digs up the key and opens the cage shall receive this bonus surprise."

"Is there actually money in that case?" Daniela exclaimed, doubting Chris would do something like that. Several other contestants are curious about the offer.

"Of course there's real money in here," Chris assured, speaking from the bull horn megaphone.

"Then open it," Buford exclaimed. "That way we can see if you're telling the truth."

"I don't need to do that. There is legit one thousand dollars in this case," Chris confirmed.

Casey opens the case and a bunch of stacks of money drop to the floor. Meredith picks one up and examines it. The dollar bill has the face of Chris McLean on it.

"Uh, these are Chris bucks," Meredith told the host. Everyone can hear the reveal since the historian was close to the megaphone.

"Nice try Chris, as if this cast will fall for an obvious trick like that," Sara gladly said.

Chris narrows his eyes at the players. "Alright Chef, your turn."

Time passes by. Chef is holding a plate full of delicious brownies as he walks close to the cage. Several contestants can sense the aroma. Especially Kristie, whose Owen's instincts are kicking in.

"These brownies will be for the one who opens the cage," Chef told.

The contestants that are hooked on wanting brownies dig. Chef chuckles proudly, being successful in getting some competitors to do the challenge. This moment ends shortly. Pharaoh takes off his Nemes crown. Above his head is a rope. He lets the end of one part of the rope barely touch the ground. Then he makes several coils of rope to hold in his left hand.

Pharaoh then takes the eyelet at the end of the rope with his right hand and makes a loop to steer the rope. He swings the rope over his head repeatedly until feeling confident to lay the rope onto the plate with brownies. He brings the brownies and plate towards him. Lucy helps grab it. Everyone is happy they get to have the brownies.

"Casey, you're up," Chef told the unpredictable mastermind.

"Got it," Casey gave a thumbs up to the cook. She heads out of the soundstage. Not waiting too long, she arrives inside her mechanical dragon. By dropping from the ceiling, destroying a part of the roof.

"Oh, come on," Chris exclaimed with anger and sadness. "We're on a budget."

"Listen up teams," Casey said from inside the mechanical dragon. "If none of you start searching for the key in the next thirty seconds, I will burn down this cage."

"There are several reasons why you cannot do that," Knick stated to his ex.

"Yeah, like if you burn the cage completely none of us win the challenge," Niu stands next to Knick. Buck is shown on the sand with several kisses of lipstick on his face. Niu continues to speak. "Which counts as an interference with the contestants unless an emergency is needed. Which can provide a possible lawsuit."

"Casey, get out of that dragon," Chris told his co-host.

Casey begrudgingly opens the stomach hatch from the dragon. She gets out and closes the stomach. Then she stands next to Chris.

"Meredith, you're up," Casey told the historian.

"Wish me luck," The intern said joyfully. She goes to turn off all the air conditioners inside the studio. When Meredith comes back to report her success to her bosses, she and the other three see a giant air conditioner installed inside the cage.

Buck waves at the four with his lucky wrench, implying that he made the installation. Several campers can be shown feeling the breeze.

Chris blinks twice. "How the heck did he do that?"

"Chris, none of our plans are working," Meredith told her boss.

"We need to find a way to get them, or at least one to search for the key," Chef stated as he rubs his chin.

"We should think like old teenagers on a beach day. What do they enjoy doing? Getting a tan is one of them. Playing volleyball as we saw," Casey mentioned.

"Looking at guys, girls, or both," Chef pondered.

"Yeah, but who here fits that description being young as them and has a nice body?" Chris wondered.

Chef, Chris, and Meredith look at Casey.

"Ugh, fine, I'll put on my bathing suit. But I better get paid extra for this," Casey told her co-hosts.

After another time-lapse, Casey is in a black swim-shirt and dark red bikini bottom. She struts her away around the cage, trying to see if she gets anyone to eye her.

"Hey Casey, are you trying to join the beach paradise?" Raymundo asked the blonde. He arrives next to the cage bars.

"Actually, I need some help. You're big and strong, maybe you can help a darling like me," Casey flirted with the beach bro. She grabs the cage bars and puts on an innocent look.

Raymundo's cheeks flush. "I don't think is right for you to be flirting with me."

"What's wrong with that? A two-year age difference is nothing," Casey spoke happily. "Besides, I've been having my eyes on you for a while now."

"A while?" Ray questioned this.

"Yeah, is hard to take my eyes off a stud like you," Casey acts shy. "Don't tell anyone this, but you're my favorite from the BTTI cast. Even when you first appeared on the show."

"Really? Wow, that's amazing," Raymundo is joyful.

"Yeah, and I also have a crush on you since your debut, but I couldn't let my bias get in the way of my hosting duties. You understand right?" Casey said. She lets out a flirtatious giggle.

Raymundo gets closer and grabs the cage bars, having his hands above Casey's. "Yeah, that makes complete sense."

"Which leads to the help I need from you. Chris is getting annoyed by nobody doing the challenge. So, let me give you the coordinates of where the key is so you can open the cage's lock. Do that and…" Casey licks one of the cage bars temptingly. "I will give you the best night of your life."

"Tell me everything," Raymundo is eager for this to happen.

After giving the location, Raymundo makes sure everyone is entertained so he can dig up the key. No one sees him, he digs up sand on the spot talked about. A few seconds pass and he finds the key. He smiles gleefully at it.

"Hey there big boy," Georgia's voice is heard.

Raymundo puts the key in his swim shorts pocket. He turns around to see Georgia standing near him.

"Looking for the key? Wouldn't want your teammates to find out what you're doing," Georgia giggled blissfully.

Confessional – Raymundo – Freezing Grips

"Since when the chicks start digging me? Not that I'm complaining. Just feels weird."

End Confessional

"I was going to make a sandcastle," Raymundo lied miserably.

"Mind if I join you? I believe you can use the company," Georgia puts her chin on Ray's chest and looks up to see the boy's face. "I can sure use it."

"What do you mean by that?" Raymundo wondered.

"I've been doing all this mean stuff because I just feel so miserable. Everyone is so happy getting along and making friends. My parents only see me as a talent pedestal for fame, Pharaoh broke up with me, and my acting career is plummeting so fast," Georgia explained, tearing up. She holds her hands onto Raymundo's as she continues talking. "I thought, maybe if I can't be happy then no one should be. And by doing these devious things I could win and skyrocket my career again. But… seeing you, made me realize how messed up I've become. So calm, so friendly. I want to be like you."

Georgia kisses Raymundo on his right cheek. Raymundo pushes her back gently.

"Georgia, this isn't right. It's good that I've helped you see the errors of your ways, but Casey promised me to um, do stuff once I win," Raymundo told, feeling bad he has to deny Georgia.

"Oh, that's okay. I don't mind," Georgia said tranquil. "More fun for the three of us."

"Oh, then that makes everything better," Raymundo is glad. He kisses Georgia on the lips.

As the two make out, Georgia grabs the key from Raymundo's swim short pocket for being distracted. The actress then pushes Raymundo to the ground.

"Thanks for the win sucker!" Georgia laughed triumphantly. She heads towards the cage's lock.

Raymundo runs after her, but he is not able to reach her in time. Georgia opens the lock and exits out of the beach prison. Casey, Chris, Chef, and Meredith watched this unfold.

"That wasn't supposed to happen," Casey said confused.

"Attention teams," Chris said through his megaphone. "Georgia grabbed the key from Raymundo and opened the cage. The Blazing Gaffers are winners once again!"

"No need to thank me," Georgia boasted to her teammates.

"We weren't going to thank you in the first place," Buford told the actress.

"Yeah, you probably ruined our only chance to get away with a challenge like this," Sua added.

"Honestly I'm glad this is over," Buck whispered quietly.

"Seriously?" Georgia is disappointed by what her teammates have said.

The Freezing Grips approached Raymundo.

"Ray, what happened?" Christopher asked his teammate. "Did you search for the key?"

"Well, yeah, Casey told me she would do some incredible things to me if I opened the cage. Then Georgia got to me and well, I don't think I need to explain more," Raymundo sheepishly answered.

"What kind of incredible things?" Sara wondered.

"Probably benefits for the upcoming challenges," Knick theorized. "I would have taken it."

"Well, it was only for a beneficial night," Raymundo said to Knick, trying not to give away the intention behind it all.

Jett understands and laughs. "You were in it just to get into her pants? You sly dog."

"I really doubt Casey would actually allow that," Kristie got into the conversation. "She probably offered that so Raymundo can find the key and speed up the challenge."

"Wait, so I wasn't going to do it with Casey?" Raymundo frowns.

"Pretty sure is in ours and the hosts' contracts to not engage in that stuff between each other," Melissa answered.

Raymundo sighs as Daniela chuckles.

"Guess we know who to vote off tonight then," Daniela said.

Confessional – Georgia – Blazing Gaffers

"What I told Raymundo has some truthful parts to it. But I don't want to change. Making sure I become the last winner is the only way I can get back my acting career in full bloom. Making my opponents miserable is a bonus. And no, this isn't going to affect my career, no matter what people try to tell me." She figures out what else to say.

"Also, I was not legit when telling Raymundo that I'm fine doing that stuff. I don't swing that way. Sure, many actresses I know had to go under the desk, but I will never stoop to that level."

Confessional – Lucy – Blazing Gaffers

"I need to have a private talk with Georgia. First, she frames Simon and I'm pretty sure she did something to mess with Raymundo in order to achieve victory for the challenge. She's most likely the least likable on the team, which is probably why she's setting her sights on the Freezing Grips. I shouldn't care since it's the other team and her plans are not affecting us. But maybe I can use this as an advantage point. She's a duck in a pond of geese. Having her vote increases the Crowstillo Alliance's vote. Of course, I won't tell her about the alliance."

End Confessionals

It is night. At this point, is common that the Freezing Grips end up here at the bleacher of the Glided Chris Award Ceremony. The males are sitting in the first two rows while the females sit in the two upper decks. Each contestant is holding their voting device. Chris is back wearing his formal wear. There is a glass table next to him on stage. On the glass table is seven Glided Chris awards.

"Freezing Grips, let's get this over with, shall we?" Chris told the team. "None of you did any mess-ups during the challenge except for Raymundo. But will he be the one eliminated tonight? All of you may cast your vote on the voting device."

Confessional – Knick – Freezing Grips

"I wanted to vote for Jett since he's more of a threat than Raymundo, but the other two in my alliance and Daniela wanted to vote for the latter. Why? For just messing up this challenge? Sure, Jett sucks at what he does but I wouldn't underestimate the guy. He is homeless. Hopping from town to town."

Confessional – Saraphina – Freezing Grips

"I don't know why Knick wanted Jett gone so bad. Once Raymundo leaves the Crowstillo Alliance is unstoppable thanks to Daniela, so it doesn't matter who goes now. Besides, thanks to Jett not voting for Daniela the Crowstilo Alliance is thriving. We kind of owe him one for that."

Confessional – Kristie – Freezing Grips

"This Pre-merge Alliance better work," She hopes.

Confessional – Jett – Freezing Grips

"This Pre-merge Alliance will work," He said confidently.

End Confessionals

All the Freezing Grips minus Raymundo and Daniela have received a Glided Chris Award.

"Daniela and Raymundo, there is only one glided award in my hand," Chris informed. "Whoever does not receive the last award must take the walk of shame and head to the lame-o-sine. Any of you two scared?"

"A lot," Raymundo definitely is.

"Not really," Daniela shrugged.

"Well then, is time to reveal who the fifth player eliminated from the Freezing Grips is," Chris announced. "The final glided award goes to…"

"No one yet. We have a tie."

All Freezing Grips gasp in shock.

Confessional – Christopher – Freezing Grips

"Did the rest of the team get together to vote off Daniela? Sure, they did before, but Jett now has officially done it. Strange."

Confessional – Melissa – Freezing Grips

"Come on Raymundo, you can win the tiebreaker."

End Confessionals

"Raymundo and Daniela, please step out of the bleacher and come forth," Chris instructed.

After leaving the bleacher, the bottom two contestants head towards the stage Chris is on. Suddenly, a cage drops from above, incarcerating the two. Both Daniela and Raymundo grab the bars.

"This tiebreaker is practically the same as the challenge. The difference is that instead of the key being hidden from the sand, I will toss the key up into the cage. Whoever exits out of the cage first gets to stay in the game," Chris explained. He takes out a key from his pocket. "Begin!" He tosses the key into the cage.

Raymundo manages to grab it first and heads toward the lock. Once he opens the lock, Daniela kicks him in his coconuts. Raymundo falls to the floor and clenches his kiwis in pain. Daniela rolls him to the side so she can open the cage's door and exit.

"That was a dirty tactic," Melissa told Daniela agitated. "How dare you stoop that low."

"I would have done the same," Knick stated. "Got to figure out ways to stay in the game."

"Was it not you that volleyball spiked Maverick's coconuts last season," Jett whispered to Melissa.

"That's not me anymore," Melissa told the runaway.

"You're right," Jett knows.

"A win is a win," Daniela said to Melissa. She looks at Kristie with a smug smile.

Kristie stands up and leaves the ceremony dissatisfied. This makes Daniela frown.

"Ugh," Raymundo groaned in pain. Sara and Christopher arrive to help him stand up.

"You're good dude?" Christopher asked worryingly.

"I'll be fine," Raymundo while still clenching in discomfort. "Just need to sit down. My second run was fun while it lasted. At least I made it farther and got to meet awesome people."

Sara and Christopher smile at him. Melissa, Jett, and Knick approach the three.

"You had a good run dude," Knick told Raymundo.

"We'll win this for you," Melissa declared at the beach bro. "Right Jett?"

"Yeah, whatever," Jett does not particularly care.

"We'll join with you to the lame-o-sine," Sara told Raymundo.

"Thanks everyone," Raymundo said happily.

Daniela watches the group leave the ceremony. She is unsure of how to feel. She won the tiebreaker. She stays in the game. But why does she feel, sad?

"The fans are not going to be happy about this elimination," Chris said to a camera, ready to end the episode. "But that is the reality. Not every competitor will be able to make a huge run. With the Pre-merge Alliance having one less member, will the Crowstillo Alliance prevail? Will Maverick be able to find a way to get Edgar and Janet together? How will Lucy and Georgia's talk go down? Find out next time on Total… Drama… Lights, Camera, Finale!"

Author's Note: A farewell to Raymundo. I am glad he got enough votes during the popularity poll so I can write him again. I definitely feel like I did him better here than in Back to the Islands. He was more fun to write, has humorous moments, and got time to shine here. I did my best to try and make him a merger, but honestly, he just kept sticking in the background during that draft. I rather have him leave at a time when he is at his greatness than keep him farther where he becomes irrelevant. At least the beach bro made it to the beach episode this time. Also, the title for this chapter was created by LittleRedline.
