AN: Completely disregard what I said in the last note about how the actual quest will take a large part in this because this chapter is giving me the biggest brain fart.

I don't even know at this point. Trying to pre-write as many chapters as I can so I can have them slowly trickle out at the desired time. Also, BotL probably had the least amount of interest for me so I have no clue how long the parts are going to be.

Changes to BotL coming the next chapter and just trying to stop myself from blowing past canon.

Also, if you're still here, thanks for waiting this long.

A day later

Piccadilly, London

Perseus and Zoë were seated at a table in a relatively busy café as they waited for Prometheus to show up. Perseus was less than pleased when Iapetus told him that Prometheus wanted to meet for some reason unknown to the two. The outsole of Perseus' leather motorcycle boots tapped the wooden floor as he waited impatiently for the Titan to show, rolling the sleeves of his black button-up and next to him, Zoë flicked imaginary lint from her cargo pants while holding Anaklumos in its hair-clip form before putting it back in her hair as she saw the door to the cafe open, hitting her husband in the arm to alert him.

"Fucking finally." he muttered out as he brought a cup of coffee to his mouth. "Play it by ear. Don't fall for whatever trick he lays with his words." he whispered in his wife's ear.

Dressed in a navy tuxedo with a cane at his side, Prometheus approached the table slowly, gaining some strange looks from the mortals due to the scars on his face, and gave the pair a small bow before taking the seat across from them. "Lord Perseus, Lady Zoë." he greeted. "My belated congratulations on your nuptials." eyeing the rings on their ring fingers.

"My husband and I aren't here for small talk, Titan." Zoë informed bluntly, already glaring at the individual. Prometheus appeared unfazed and simply smiled.

"I suppose not. After all, I am very aware that neither of you would have been here if that was the case." he replied simply.

The corners of Perseus's mouth lifted slightly, "You reached out to your father. You must be truly desperate." leaning in his seat ever so slightly.

Prometheus, however, shook his head. "Is it desperation if I come bearing a warning and a deal for your sake?" he asked curiously.

Perseus and Zoë both raised their eyebrows at his tone, "Oh? And what is that warning?" Perseus inquired.

"Your father is amassing an army for the impending war. We have joined him and he has heard about your resurgence. Of course, most of my brethren have since Atlas was put back under the sky." the Titan explained. "He wants you back with him for a greater purpose."

"My father died a long time ago. The one you follow now is nothing more than someone that needs to be put down like an animal." Perseus replied coldly. "Do not think that just because I do not sit upon that throne that I will be idle while Olympus suffers." he growled out.

Zoë looked mildly amused as she tilted her head, "I think you'll find that neither of us responds well to threats." she replied as her eyes pulsed once in a warning.

"You have heard of the Great Prophecy, have you not?" Prometheus asked, looking at Perseus. "Relying on one child to do the right thing is quite a stretch. Especially when loyalty is such a fickle thing with demigods today and there are only two of you." the Titan mused.

Perseus' heel stopped tapping the floor as he sat straight. "I think I will greatly enjoy the moment you realize that all your efforts will be destroyed by our hand. Tell me, does it help Kronos to think that he only has to deal with the gods up on that mountain? I would think that those that sided with him haven't forgotten what I could really do to any of them. " he said. He chuckled shortly, "You might be clever but you're not that clever. There are only a few people that can truly match the Crooked One and two of them are standing behind you." pointing to someone behind Prometheus.

"Quite so, my son." the Titan queen's voice rang out from behind.

Prometheus tensed in his seat and slowly turned his head to face behind him, his face going pale at the sight of the former Titan queen and his father. He looked at his father up and down, taking in the slacks and navy blue button-down with a pair of black suspenders. He shuddered when he saw Rhea's smile turn into a line the moment her gaze set on him. Rhea's knee-high suede boots clicked on the tiled floor as she led Iapetus and herself to around the table, taking the two seats on the end of the table on her son's left. She took off her long coat, leaving her in a maroon turtleneck and a black-suede skirt.

"Queen Rhea. Hello, father." he forced out politely, now fully recognizing the threat that was before him as his eyes flickered to Perseus, Zoë, Rhea, and his father. He knew he had to choose his words carefully lest he anger Perseus and his wife and he was aware enough to know that he wouldn't stand a chance against the pair despite Perseus' wife being a newly-minted goddess.

"Son." Iapetus said curtly, pulling Rhea's seat out for her before he took his own.

Rhea waved off his greeting, "Oh, I'm not a queen anymore, just another immortal that you don't want to anger." the corners of her mouth lifted as she spoke. Iapetus spun a butter knife between his fingers as he stared at his son, his gaze expressionless as he held the knife by the blade.

Prometheus straightened his tie with a hand and cleared his throat, "I will cut to the point of this sudden meeting with you. So long as you hand over the prophecy child before the summer solstice and side with us against the Olympians, Lord Kronos is willing to be lenient with you." He looked to Rhea and Iapetus, "Your husband is willing to overlook your mistake and will accept you back to his si-"

"Pass." Rhea simply said, rolling her eyes as the knife in Iapetus' hand slowly bent out of shape in frustration and anger. Prometheus turned his head towards Perseus and Zoë, "And you will be granted back your throne albeit in a different capacity and your wife will be permitted to join you after some… assurances."

The couple gave a wary look to each other and Perseus turned and his eyes narrowed, "What?" asking as a hidden threat laced his words, though the look his wife gave the Titan seemed to be far worse.

The table and cutlery seemed to dissolve into a colorless powder onto the floor the moment Perseus laid a finger on it as Zoë lept off of her chair with Anaklusmos already out and held it right underneath the Titan's jaw. Prometheus was waiting for the shock from the mortal patrons inside the place but his eyes saw that everyone but the five immortals was frozen.

Perseus got off of his chair with Leviathan in hand as he threw it straight down in between Prometheus' legs, making him spread his legs out farther before walking off and disappearing into a storage room behind the open kitchen of the café.

"Perhaps you are not on the same note as us." Zoë spoke as she pressed the blade deeper into his throat. "You seem to be under the idea that just because my husband is against the current state of Olympus that it means that he'll be willing to be in league with the Titans." she stated in slight amusement before drawing a thin trail of ichor from his neck. "We're not." she corrected, internally reveling in the fact that the Titan gulped nervously. She flicked Anaklusmos up and away from his face, creating a thin gash on the left side of his face, making him react and cover it with his palm.

Perseus whistled as he carried another table over his shoulder, not even sparing a glance at the steaming Titan, setting the table down where the previous one was and pulling Leviathan out from its lodged position. "Are we done here?" asking as his shoulders dropped and slowly released his power, aware of the mortals that were still around.

Zoë stepped back, letting Prometheus get out of his seat. He was uncomfortable as he straightened his bowtie multiple times and cleared his throat. "We… have reached a mutual understanding. Do understand that I am only delivering the message, however."

"And do understand that I'll rip your body inside out the next time I see you." Perseus remarked.

Iapetus scoffed at his son, "It won't make much difference when you are on the battlefield." watching his son turn his back and walk out. Perseus rolled his neck and shadows enveloped Leviathan before he resumed time. "Well, I sure as hell don't remember what went wrong in your parenting skills. I forgot how much I despise your son. Such an ass." he mentioned, hearing and watching his wife nod her agreement.

Iapetus rubbed his forehead, "Don't remind me." replying with a groan of exhaustion.

A few days later

The Island

Thalia hugged her brother on the beach before Jason left to return to Camp Jupiter as Perseus and Zoë watched from a few feet away. Marcus, Tiberius, Cassius, and Ignatius all checked their bags one last time before they went to accompany the younger Grace sibling back to the Roman camp as usual with the other five members of the Gauntlet standing around them, quietly conversing with their departing brothers.

"Stay on your guard." Marius instructed firmly. "We don't know what strategies the Titans will employ against the Romans nor do we fully know who is on the camp's side."

Marcus nodded, "Of course. We'll send you an IM once we've reached the catacombs. We have our patrols and observations already set up. No one will get in or out without us knowing."

Thalia whacked the back of Jason's head as they embraced, "Don't do anything stupid at camp." releasing her brother and laid a hand on his shoulder, "We had a deal to do stupid shit together."

Jason grinned, "I know and I wouldn't even dream of breaking it." the grin dropped a bit as he looked at his sister, "The same goes to you, alright?" worry showing for his sister due to her tendencies.

She waved his worries away and ruffled his hair with a grin, "Can't and won't get rid of me that easily, little bro." she assured him and smiled sincerely at him. "Take care of yourself, alright? I know Marcus and the others will be there but still." she said to him with protectiveness.

Perseus approached with Zoë slightly trailing behind him with their hands intertwined and dangling between them before she slipped her hand out of his. Jason turned to face his uncle and let himself be pulled into a tight hug with Thalia.

He rubbed the back of Jason's hair with a free hand, "I'll be there if you need me. Remember to take care of yourself." he reminded and Jason pulled out of the hug slightly.

"What's with everyone telling me to take care of myself? I am perfectly capable." Jason said in slight exasperation though his eyes lit up in humor.

Perseus and Thalia both had expressions telling the opposite and had to resist from outright laughing in the latter's case. "You don't exactly have the best track record of doing that." his sister replied.

"This is simply slandering on my name and image and I cannot tolerate this." holding a finger up in the air as he spoke in mock-offense. He turned to look at the setting sun out on the horizon and sighed. "Guess it's time." hefting a bag over his shoulder and stepped a few feet away as the four centurions that were accompanying him stood next to him.

"Keep me updated accordingly." Perseus instructed his centurions, receiving four nods in return. "Report back any discrepancies that you notice with any of the Romans." he ordered.

Ignatius nodded his head and banged his fist against his chestplate, "We understand, Lord Virtus. We'll take our leave now as Lady Lupa requested." he told the god.

Perseus nodded once and smiled faintly, "Safe travels, my friends, and make sure my nephew stays in one piece." He gave a short wave to Jason and the four centurions as a wave of shadows enveloped them. The remainder of his Gauntlet silently left the beach with a nod and headed back towards their barracks.

After a silent moment, Thalia removed her eyes from the spot on the beach where her brother was and onto her father, "So what now?" she asked.

Perseus looked out into the horizon as Zoë walked up next to him, wrapping her right arm around his waist while he brought his left around her shoulders. "Well…" using the time to find the words, "You should get some sleep. You're going to have a few long months ahead before you're being sent back to the camp." he told her.

"Hey, dad?" her voice made him and Zoë look back at her.

"Yes?" his response was short as he stuffed a hand into a pocket.

"About all the lessons I'm doing… I know I still have loads to learn but don't you think that I should be getting as much help as I can get?" she asked. "I can only learn so much from Uncle Marius and the others before I get familiar with it." her reasoning made Perseus give a nod.

"Sure. Just give me a day or so to figure it out." he requested.

His daughter shrugged, giving him a brief hug, and gave Zoë a departing wave. Perseus pulled his wife a bit closer and bent down slightly to place his chin on her shoulder, "You know you didn't have to do that." referring to when she stepped back during the moment with him, Thalia, and Jason.

She shrugged and tucked a strand of loose hair behind her ear. "I didn't mind doing that." she reasoned, hearing him sigh heavily and mumble something that he thought she wouldn't hear. She raised her hand and flicked him on the ear lightly, "Ow." his monotone voice put him on the receiving end of her glare.

"It's not for whatever reasons you're thinking of." telling him as her glare softened. "Anyway, I think the buzz of everything has finally worn off."

"Nice to see that our honeymoon phase has worn off that quickly." he said lightheartedly, leading to Zoë thumping him on his chest with her elbow. "Kidding, my love." placating her with a smile before she did more bodily-harm to him.

"You know what I mean." Zoë said to him with a roll of her eyes before looking up at the stars that slowly started to appear. "So what's on your mind that has you all tense? More than usual that is." she asked with a small smirk.

"Haha." his dry reply made her let out a snicker. He squeezed her waist lightly and pulled his head off of her shoulder. "Turns out, we weren't the only ones that Prometheus tried to persuade over to the other side. He went for the other Titans that were with us."

"Oh. I suppose that's not a good thing?" she inquired a bit sarcastically.

He huffed, "Most of the others are familiar enough with the outcome to know that it'll be repeated in some way shape, or form. They would rather stick with my mother and Iapetus instead of Kronos." stretching his neck from side to side as he spoke. "As far as Iapetus and myself can tell, Oceanus is a bit concerning, however. He's gone back into the depths and we haven't heard from him since." he informed her. She turned her head to look at him.

"Are you not concerned about that?" wondering why her husband wasn't more worried about that. She watched him give a noncommittal shrug.

"If we were, Iapetus and I would have forcefully dragged him back up here to have a conversation. He's more inclined to go for Atlantis while using his allegiance to Kronos as a cover." he explained with a low tone. She hummed in understanding though a grin formed on her face.

She kissed his cheek, "If you do plan to do that, tell me. I'm coming with." making him chuckle and kissed the crown of her head in return. A look of thoughtfulness quickly found its way onto her face as an idea hit her. "You know, I could help Thalia with her training."

He looked at her with an eyebrow raised, "Really? You would do that?"

Looking pleased with her idea, she nodded, "Of course! It's like training the younger hunters again. I quite enjoyed that."

"Alright. I'm sure Thalia would appreciate that." a small smile adorning his face as he looked at his wife with one right back at him.

Two months later

Hades' palace

Apollo picked at his ears while looking at Hades, "Can I please close the window!?" he shouted.

Hades crossed his arms across his chest and looked undisturbed as the screams of those being punished from down below reached the room and pierced the air. "And why would you want to do that?" he calmly asked.

"Oh, you know… THE SCREAMS COMING FROM PEOPLE DYING TEND TO HAVE THAT EFFECT ON YOU!" Hermes yelled out as he stuffed more earplugs into his ears.

Hades rolled his eyes and sighed, "Don't be absurd. Those people are already dead and are simply being punished. Them being dead has nothing to do with me." explaining like he was talking to children.

A flash of sea-green alerted Hades, Hephaestus, Hermes, and Apollo of Poseidon's arrival. The somewhat-dying screams coming from a distant part of the Underworld sent a jolt through Poseidon as he stepped onto the floor before he regained his composure and approached the four.

"Brother, nephews." he greeted as his casual khaki shorts and Bahama shirt changed into more formal green robes.

"You're almost late." his brother spoke out, making him roll his eyes.

"Some kingdoms are busier than others. I can't exactly sit on my throne doing nothing." he replied in jest. "Although that strategy works for one of us." he muttered as he ran a hand down his face. He looked around the room, "Haven't been in here in a long time." Hades nodded in understanding.

"This meeting has been in the making for a while now." Hades mentioned with an air of seriousness.

"It has." Poseidon replied. "Just never knew when."

Hades looked to the three younger Olympians, "And how is our esteemed ruler doing these days?"

Hephaestus put down the tools he was tinkering with in his hands, "He's locked himself in his palace with my dear mother. Haven't heard from him since that council meeting." rolling his eyes at the last part and took off the brace on his leg.

"How wonderful." Hades drawled out. "Apollo, anything you would like to add?"

Apollo rubbed his chin and slipped his shades onto the top of his head, "Nothing for me, personally, but Artemis still looks pretty shaken."

Poseidon looked to Hermes, "Any luck with the minor gods?" watching Hermes shake his head.

"If they know of his return, they're not saying or giving away anything to me. It's getting a bit frustrating, to be honest." Hermes complained, "You would think that he would give us a heads-up." The sea god held up a hand to placate him.

"If he is back, then we need to trust him. Probably the less of us on the council know, the better." Poseidon reasoned. "He's probably waiting for something." and everyone seemed to agree, but Poseidon wasn't done. "Should it come down to it, we know what we need to do."

Hades nodded seriously, "Yes we do."

"I have set aside a force of Atlanteans in case of that event." Poseidon mentioned and Hades got out of his chair.

"If that's all we need to discuss for now… Everyone can leave." Hades said bluntly, leading to Apollo snorting rather loudly.

"I need to get the Sun chariot out soon anyway." Apollo said and flipped his shades back down and shot finger-guns at the rest before flashing out.

Hephaestus affixed the brace to his leg once again and stood up from his chair, "I better go to ensure Ares and Aphrodite don't stumble into my forge again." and flashed out with a nod.

Hermes stretched his legs and hopped off of his stool and placed his helmet back on, the wings on his sandals fluttering with his movement. "I have a few things to drop off to my kids." attracting the curiosity of the sons of Kronos.

"What things?" Poseidon asked in intrigue.

Hermes smiled and shrugged, "Things." making air quotes, and left before he could be asked any more questions. Poseidon turned to look at Hades who appeared somber.

Hades ran a hand down his face and sighed heavily, placing his palms on his knees and closing his eyes. "How did he do this? Just talking to Apollo and Hermes for a short while is enough for an eternity." feeling the hand of his brother laid upon his right shoulder.

"Oh please. They're not nearly as bad as before. If you remember the cattle incident between those two, Perseus was about to burst then and there. Once he's back, this will no longer be needed and those two can bother him again." Poseidon told him with a chuckle.

"He'll be back."

"He will."

His brother departed with those final words, leaving Hades alone in the small sitting room. A knock and the double doors creaking open brought his eyes towards the source. Persephone poked her head in, "Your brats are here." followed by the voices of Bianca and Nico.

Bianca walked in wearing the lieutenant's circlet of the hunters on her head with her braid over her shoulder and her quiver, bow, and silver parka in her hands. Nico strolled in in his aviator jacket, a skeleton graphic tee, and a pair of tattered jeans with a chain belt containing a sword.

"You wanted to see us?" his daughter asked, standing tall.

Hades appeared contemplative as he looked at his children.

Five months later

Thalia led Aurelius, Magnus, Hadrian, and Darius as the group tailed the quest members that were following the mechanical spider through the battered Triple G Ranch and into the labyrinth.

"Remind us again as to why we couldn't just kidnap the Faun for our purpose?" Darius asked with a hand on the shaft of his spear.

"Because he's a friend and he wouldn't be able to keep a secret for his life." she replied, stopping every so often when it seemed like the campers were going to backtrack.

"I still do not understand why Lord Virtus and Lady Zoë couldn't just blow the labyrinth to bits after finding the god of the Wild." Magnus asked the group.

"Because dad and Zoë got into an argument with the Fates over me, but I told them that I can handle it." she explained. "And that is why dad told you four to come with me."

Hadrian questioned the comment, "What about a clear-sighted mortal? One would be able to lead us, would they not?"

Grover shivered almost uncontrollably as he smelled a faint scent that differed from the Greeks, causing Tyson, Annabeth, and Korin to look at him in concern. "Grover, you alright dude? You're not looking too hot." Korin asked as he approached him. The Satyr whipped his head around to where he thought the scent was coming from.

"Nah. It's nothi-ACHOO!" despite the scent of a very dangerous demigod overwhelming his senses, he sneezed loudly which made Tyson take several big steps back from the Satyr. "Oh what the Hades. I think someone's following us." he revealed much to the shock of the others.

"What!" Korin blurted out and immediately summoned his trident. Annabeth slowly unsheathed her dagger as she looked around them, while Tyson held his stick high.

"Gods help that poor fucker." Magnus whispered to his brothers' amusement while Thalia glared at him to be quiet.

"What do you mean by that? How long have you known?" Annabeth questioned.

Grover looked around before looking at Annabeth. "I've had this feeling sorta lingering at the back of my head since we arrived at that ranch." Annabeth didn't look too excited about his answer.

"Why didn't you tell us then?!" she questioned fiercely. Her tone made Grover raise his arms in defense, trying to deter her anger.

"Whoa whoa! I didn't think that it was right. My whole sense has been off since we've entered this place so I thought that I was wrong." he defended.

"How often are you wrong with your senses though?" Korin replied. Annabeth nodded along with him as the two looked at their friend.

He groaned and gestured towards the spider that was waiting for them, "Let's just go." ushering the demigods and cyclops forward while also sending wary looks behind him. He bleated nervously, attracting the looks of the two demigods and cyclops again, making a run ahead of the group.

"And deeper we go. Such fun." Aurelius dryly remarked.

AN: Because of midterms and all that jazz, I have no clue as to when I'll fix my updating schedule, so yeah. I'm hoping for at least twice per month after the next few weeks.

Thanks for sticking with me so far.
