Boys - Pharoah, Buck, Maverick, Edgar

Girls – Janet, Lucy, Niu, Georgia, Sua

Freezing Grips

Boys – Knick, Christopher, Jett

Girls – Saraphina, Daniela, Melissa

Chris is at the VR soundstage. He is standing next to the giant television screen. "Last time on Total Drama Lights, Camera, Finale," He narrates the previous episode. Flashbacks occur. "The teams went against each other in a good old fashion wild west showdown. Well, not exactly. It was actually a ninja versus cowboy edition. Christopher led the Freezing Grips to take down the Blazing Gaffers, but his team was immediately caught by Buford. But surprise, surprise, Georgia shot a sleeping dart at her own teammate. Then she created a plan to help the Freezing Grips get their third win of the season. By revealing the locations of the keys and where her teammates are on set."

"The battle for victory was fierce. There was shooting, romance, action, fights, and betrayal at the end. Georgia decided to take down the remaining Grips in the challenge to make herself look victorious. This will prove to be her downfall when Christopher reveals his secret dart-proof jacket. After having to make a deal with the kung fu warrior, Georgia cost her team the challenge and was forced to wear a maid outfit for the rest of the day."

"At dinner, it was revealed that Buford does not think too fondly of his teammates. Which ultimately led to him being eliminated from the competition. Jett and Georgia revealed that they set up the plan to give rid of Bo. Including a surprising twist of Georgia having to listen to Jett's orders now."

The flashbacks end. Chris is still inside the VR soundstage. "Which team will rock a win today? And which one will roll onto another elimination ceremony? Find out now on Total… Drama… Lights, Camera, Finale!"

The theme song for Total Drama has an orchestral vibe to it while still being groovy. A camera pops out of the entrance to the Crowstillo Caverns from Crowstillo Island. Another camera pops out from a carnival booth. Then one shows itself from a clothes racket at the film lot. A smooth transition occurs on Camp Wawanakwa's high cliff. The camera drone dives into the water around the cliff, creating a splash.

Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine

The full cast of Total Drama Island is shown inside the dodgeball court. Everyone is throwing dodgeballs at each other. It looks to be the Screaming Gophers on the left side of the court facing the Killer Bass on the right side of the court. Teens throw and get hit. Owen throws a fastball.

You guys are on my mind

The fast-moving dodgeball transitions to a tire. The camera pans out to show Duncan driving the Action Cast in a tram. He looks to be annoyed by Courtney's talking. This distracts him and crashes the tram with him and the cast into something off-screen. The smoke released from the tram enlarges.

You asked me what I wanted to be,

The smoke disappears to show the jumbo jet soaring in the sky.

and I think the answer is plain to see

The World Tour Cast jumps out of the jumbo jet with parachute bags. Alejandro winks at the audience before deploying his parachute. Quick zoom on the parachute.

I wanna be famous!

The parachute descends to show Cameron in his robotic suit fighting Lightning who has armor and carrying a mannequin leg with spikes at the 'coliseum' Chris build. The rest of the Revenge Cast are sitting at the bleachers cheering for either combatant. The fight ends when Cameron charges a ball of electricity on his iron suit's right fist and shoots at the camera. Though, it is clear it is for Lighting from the athlete's person of view.

I wanna live close to the sun

It is night and the blue madness full moon is glowing brightly. Mike inhales and turns into Mal. Someone throws Mr. Coconut at Mal's head off-screen to bring Mike back in control.

Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won

The camera pans to the right to show who throw Mr. Coconut. It is Zoey, who is smiling happily at getting her boyfriend back. The rest of the All-Stars cast is running away in the background from rabid fluffy rabbits.

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

Another transition displays itself. The Pahkitew Cast is inside the labyrinth of the artificial island running away from the scuba-bear and a mechanical orange cat. The cat stops to breathe fire from its mouth.

I'll get there one day

The fire stops and the next part shows the finalists of Crowstillo Island trying to complete the obstacle course. The rest of the cast is cheering for their favorite at the peanut gallery. Knick, Saraphina, and Casey take out one of their accessory clothes and throws it at the camera.

Cuz' I wanna be famous

The trench coat, scarf, and jacket fall from the camera lens. The Back to the Islands Cast is shown at Boney Island's Fun Zone using anti-mutant guns with orange liquid in them to turn the mutants from the show into normal animals. Jeremy accidentally shoots some liquid at the camera.

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na

The cameraman wipes off the orange liquid with a small handkerchief. Once done, at a cliff of Crowstillo Island, Yves and Knick are shown doing a sword battle against King Crowstillo. In the background, the rest of the Radiant Cast faces off Henry in his robotic suit. Henry activates a laser cannon from the suit's left arm and unleashes a laser blast.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!

Once the laser blast disappears, the Sleek Slushies from the Calamity Cast are riding the roller coaster at the carnival. Some are frightened, some are having fun. Marty turns on his camera so he can take pictures of all the carnival rides he can see. He flashes the camera that is recording him.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!

Once the bright flash ends, the Glided Chris Awards stage is shown where all finalists from the previous nine seasons are getting ready to have a picture taken. All finalists, Chris, and Chef whistle. Once the song is over, the picture is taken and the intro ends.

The episode starts with Chris, Casey, and Chef walking to the confessional makeup outhouse.

"I need to warn you both that what you are about to see is vile and traumatizing," Casey cautioned.

"I've seen a lot of traumatizing things Casey. Ain't nothing that I'll see inside there that will scare me," Chef assured confidently.

"We're not toddlers Casey," Chris yawned. "Just let us see what is going on."

Casey opens the door to the confessional makeup outhouse. The makeup inside is all over the floor. Including the chair. Meredith is there, eating ice cream directly from a carton. Her blonde hair with green highlights is messy. She is shaking constantly. Her eyes are fixated on the ice cream.

Is not traumatizing to any of the hosts, but it is disturbing and concerning.

"Hey, Meredith," Chris greeted slowly. "What's the matter?"

"I call myself a historian but yet I'm always getting these facts wrong," Meredith answered as she continues to shake. "I shouldn't be here. Where's Bo? I don't know. Did he leave? How? I wonder? Are all my facts being wrong?"

"Take it easy Meredith," Casey softly spoke.

"How can I take it easy? I'm a fraud. A con artist. I will have to be homeless like Jett. Every fact I say is not a fact at all. Is wrong, wrong I say!" The intern looked crazily at the three hosts. She laughs. "Don't you know? The real first Martial arts movie was The Burning of the Red Lotus Temple, which is a now lost film from 1928. But of course, I had to be stupid and not search hard enough. I can be hard. I can be really hard."

"Alright girlie you've eaten too much ice cream," Chef grabs the carton.

"No, my precious," Meredith exclaimed. She bites Chef's right leg. This does not hurt the cook.

Casey grabs Meredith and pulls the intern up. "Listen here, you got to snap out of it. So what if you gave the audience incorrect information? Chris did that all the time in World Tour."

Chris nods.

"But, but I am a historian. Is my purpose to talk about real historical evidence. I've failed three times. Three!" Meredith said horrified. "I can never look at my reflection again," She ended dramatically.

Casey rolls her eyes. "Look, you get paid to do what you love. Just make sure you actually have concrete info this time. I'll help you."

"You would do that for me?" Meredith is surprised.

"If it gets you to stop being a complete mess, yes, I will," Casey replied.

Chris and Chef watch the two ladies leave. Chris looks at Chef.

"Alright Chef, you know what to do. Go make breakfast for the contestants," Chris ordered happily.

Inside the Freezing Grips boys' trailer, the whole team is celebrating their win after a six-game losing streak. Well, most of them. On a small table, there is a small pile of junk food, drinks, and a radio that has music on. Sara and Christopher are dancing together while Daniela and Jett are having a who can chug their drink the fastest contest. Melissa is sitting on Knick's bed with the journalist.

"Surprised you're not partying with them," Knick told Melissa as he observed his teammates.

"I do like parties. With the friends I had we tend to go to beach parties a lot or hang out at a friend's house," Melissa said to her teammate. "But this a premature party. Sure, we won our last challenge. But are we seriously going to slack off over one win?"

"Same exact thought process as mine," Knick agreed. "One win isn't going to cut it. I'm all for celebrating, but we should prepare ourselves for the next challenge."

Daniela finishes her drink first before Jett. "Come on you two, don't be such buzzkills."

"We clearly lack an advantage with us six against the Blazing Gaffers' nine," Melissa pointed out.

Jett finishes his drink, okay losing to Daniela. "Would you look at that? Is that a competitive spirit I'm hearing?" Jett asked Melissa slyly as he approached his alliance member.

"N-no, I just… want to make sure all of us are clear on the objective for today," Melissa excused.

Jett grabs Melissa's hand and dances with her. "I thought you wanted to have fun?" The runaway whispered into the girl's ear.

"I do," Melissa replied in a whispering voice. "But we both know our position in the team right now."

"Relax, just dance with me. Then we can plot later," Jett smirked.

Melissa lets out a giggle. "Okay, you're a good dancer by the way."

"Have to be swift on the streets," Jett said in a flirtatious tone.

"Both of you know we can hear the conversation, right?" Knick questioned. "This trailer is not that large."

Melissa and Jett do not pay attention to him and simply dance. Knick looks to his left and notices Sara and Christopher making out together.

"I'm going to leave before I see clothes flying around the room," Knick stated before getting up from his bed.

Daniela grabs Knick's arm so he can turn around and look at her. "I know we both are in a relationship, but some dancing wouldn't hurt as friends." She lets go of the journalist's arm. "Please, at least do it for your number one fan."

Knick sighs. "I don't dance."

"You're in a relationship with someone who dances for a living," Daniela deadpanned.

"She never got to teach me," Knick confessed. "I'll just follow your lead."

"Alright, I can manage with that," Daniela smiled.

Inside the Blazing Gaffers girls' trailer, Georgia is looking at the cards she has on her bed. She is trying to figure out who to target next. Her position in the game has decreased thanks to the last challenge. Not only does she have to meet Christopher's request, but Jett also double-crossed her. After the runaway's bad performance last season, she believed she could trust Jett to not go against her. Guess the guy is learning from his mistakes.

Georgia puts all the cards that have the face of a Freezing Grip together. As much as she wants to figure out a way to get rid of Jett without telling the secret, Christopher does not want her to sabotage his team. Maybe, she should do self-sabotage?

"What are these cards for?" Sua asked the actress as she bends down a bit and looks.

"Ah! What are you doing here?" Georgia got frightened.

"Nope got to answer my question first," Sua wagged her index finger, smiling contently.

"The cards are simply a game I play with myself," Georgia answered the idol's question.

"Really?" Sua responded with doubt. "Then how about you teach me how to play?"

"Ugh, fine, I'm using these cards to try and figure out who to get rid of in the competition," Georgia blurted. "Happy?"

"Whoa, is there something wrong?" Sua gets concerned about the outburst. "You're looking quite tense."

"I don't need to share my feelings with you. You'll just be another person who will use me for an advantage," Georgia felt. She starts to tear up. "I can't believe I'm going to fail again. Guess that's just how my life is. Failure after failure after…"

Sua slaps Georgia in the face. "I do not appreciate negativity whenever I'm around. You are not a failure. Think about all the roles you've gotten in movies and television shows. You're on the last season of Total Drama as a fan favorite. So never call yourself that again."

Georgia wipes her tears away as she nods.

"Now, what seems to be the issue?" Sua asked.

"I've done some plays and now I'm suffering the consequences for it," Georgia admitted. "And at this point, I feel like all the effort I have made has been for nothing."

"You're not going to give me full details, are you? Because somewhere along the line you will be making another enemy. Which technically you already have," Sua realized with a disappointed look.

Georgia feels herself slipping out of control. She needs to composure herself. "Hey, I answered your question already. Where is the answer to the question I gave you?"

"Oh, that's simple. Maverick is helping Edgar and Janet get together. Niu is always trying to slide into Buck's pants. I was going to tag along with Lucy and Pharaoh, but they seem awfully close to each other recently," Sua responded.

"Awfully close?" Georgia is hurt and confused. She is supposed to be over Pharaoh. Why should she care about who he dates? She takes a deep breath and exhales. "Sua, have you noticed that we are the odd ones out of the team? Think about it. Niu has Buck. Lucy and Pharaoh are close. Maverick is helping Edgar and Janet."

"Now that you mention it, yes," Sua agreed.

"Why don't we make an alliance together? Just you and me? We can surprise them all," Georgia sounded desperate. She gently grabs the idol's arms. "Proposition for the final two."

"I'll think about it," Sua said as she removes her arms.

Janet is strolling along the film lot. That is until Maverick meets up with her wearing a fancy suit.

"Hey there Mav," Janet greeted. "Looking sharp today. Though that phrase doesn't make any sense. You don't have knives on you or sharp objects. And our bodies are not exactly pointy."

Maverick chuckles. "Thanks Janet. I am wearing this for a special occasion. Please follow me."

"Ooo," Janet got curious. "I hope is us looking at the stars through a telescope."

"Janet is daytime," Maverick informed.

"Oh right," Janet pouted, then smiled again. "We can do star gazing at nighttime. Though we don't have a telescope. Come to think of it, I wonder if there will be a space challenge this season. Did you know in space…"

Maverick tunes Janet out as he leads the way.

Pharaoh and Lucy are in their swimsuits at the beach set. They are playing volleyball together.

"I know we are together now, but maybe we should try not to always be together so much," Lucy told her boyfriend. "I don't want Georgia going after us if she finds out."

"Relax, we are going to be as secretive as possible," Pharaoh assured everything will be alright. "We would have gotten rid of her if she didn't rat out on Bo's privacy."

"Yes, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to do so," Lucy acknowledged.

"You did vote for Georgia, right?" Pharaoh questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, yeah," Lucy answered. She has enough of playing volleyball, so she catches the ball and puts it under her armpit. "After what you said during the alliance meeting, I don't want Georgia to be in the merge either." She walks to her boyfriend and the two hold hands. "But I also suggest not to be constantly after her."

"What do you mean?" Pharaoh wondered as the two sat together on a beach towel.

Lucy puts the ball on the ground. She sees Pharaoh laying down and decides to get on top of him.

"Pharaoh it is a bit concerning having you wanting to eliminate Georgia so bad. I know she is not a good person, and she is your ex which makes things awkward, but if you focus too much on her you might not realize someone is targeting you," Lucy explained.

"But no one is targeting us," Pharaoh does not understand.

"My point is when the opportunity arises, we do our best to get rid of her. For now, we need to focus on important things," Lucy smiled.

"What kind of important things?" Pharaoh asked.

"Like this one," Lucy kissed Pharaoh on the lips.

Pharaoh returns the kiss and puts his arms on Lucy's back. The couple can hear a yeehaw of joy coming from Buck. The couple breaks apart and stands up to see Buck and Niu walking toward them.

"Lucy and Pharaoh. Never would have guessed it," Buck is surprised and joyful. "You two do look cute together."

The couple blushes.

"Why are you two here?" Lucy asked.

"We just wanted to walk around here to set a romantic mood and have a picnic," Niu happily answered.

"But there's no basket with you," Pharoah pointed out.

"She's not referring to that kind of picnic," Buck replied. "I wasn't going to give it to her anyway."

"Is fun seeing your reaction," Niu giggled.

"Please keep this a secret between us," Pharaoh beseeched. "Lucy and I don't want anyone finding out about us being a couple. Especially Georgia."

"Not a problem dude," Buck said. "Niu and I will…"

"As much as I would keep this a secret as a token of gratitude, I do believe this is a splendid opportunity to advance in the game. I will keep it a secret if you promise to always vote for who I want gone," Niu proposed.

Lucy and Pharaoh are shocked to hear this. Buck narrows his eyes at Niu.

"You two don't have to make the deal," The MacGyver told the couple. "Excuse me while I talk to my girlfriend."

Lucy grabs the towel on the sand while Pharaoh gets the volleyball. The two Blazing Gaffers leave.

"Is there something that I did wrong?" Niu asked Buck.

"Yeah, what was that about using Lucy and Pharaoh's relationship to get far in the game?" Buck crossed his arms.

"Is supposed to help us get far. You and I both know couples in this show become targets rather quickly," Niu gave her reason. "Considering the weeks that we have left the merge will come soon."

"Is not right to do that. How would you feel if we kept our relationship a secret, somebody finds out and uses us for safety votes to have it still be hidden?" Buck inquired.

"But we practically made our relationship an open book," Niu did not see the issue.

"You're really not finding the problem here? You were going to rat them out if they don't do what you say," Buck continued, being calm as possible to not make a scene. "That's not nice. That's wrong, manipulative, and selfish."

"So, you don't want me to help us make it to the finale," Niu believed that is what her boyfriend is implying.

"Not the way of using others. We can make it to the finale together without needing to be stoop as low as that," Buck said.

Niu nods. "Alright, I understand. We'll find another opportunity."

Maverick and Janet arrive inside the crafts and services tent. There, Edgar is sitting at the Blazing Gaffers table. There is a red tablecloth on it. On the tablecloth are lit candles.

"Oh my, what special occasion is this?" Janet wondered as she sat at the table.

Maverick brings a glass of water to Edgar and Janet.

"What happened to the food?" Edgar whispered to Maverick.

"Chef is in charge of cooking today. He doesn't allow anyone to disturb him," The promoter answered. "Sorry, I did my best." He walks out of the crafts and services tent.

Edgar lets out a nervous chuckle upon seeing Janet.

"I like what you have done to the table," Janet complimented.

"Oh, that was Mav. He brought everything," Edgar said. He sips some of his water.

"Oh, so this was all Mav's doing. I was kind of hoping you did all this. You didn't even dress for this," Janet admitted. "There are suits where everything is black."

"Sorry, sorry," Edgar apologized. "I know I'm not good for you. Sorry I didn't meet your expectations."

"Yeah," Janet frowned. She is confused. Is getting into a relationship with Edgar worth it? "Hey, um, is there something you want to tell me? Something that is on your mind for a while?"

"Depends on what I feel like the answer will be," Edgar answered.

There is silence inside the tent.

"I don't think this is going to work out," Edgar confessed dejectedly. "This is a waste of time anyway."

"Hey, hey, don't be so hard on yourself. Is tough admitting you have feelings for someone," Janet understands.

"The thing is I can't see us working out. We are too opposite from each other. You have knowledge of space, and incredible looks, and are practically a comedian when it comes to understanding stuff. I'm just a sad miserable loser with almost no friends trying to get with a girl like you," Edgar exclaimed.

Janet gets up from the table and sits next to Edgar. "You are not a loser," The space geek spoke. "You got eliminated first last season but look where are now. A loser would not have bounced back up from that loss. A loser would not have helped the team in many ways to win challenges. A loser would have given up the moment losing a potential friend."

Janet places her hand on Edgar's cheek so the emo can see her face. "The person I see in front of me is someone who fights until the end. Someone who constantly says in his mind I can do this. And someone who wants us to become a couple. We will give this a try. If it truly doesn't work out, we'll call it quits. Do you understand?"

"Yes," Edgar listened loud and clear.

"Good, now tell me you want to ask me out," Janet demanded.

"Janet will you go out with me?" Edgar rapidly asked. "Please don't hurt me," He panicked and covers his face with his arms.

Janet finds a spot where she can kiss Edgar's cheek. "There, was that so hard?"

Edgar calms down. He blushes. "That felt really good to get out of my system."

"I'm glad," Janet is relieved.

The speakers throughout the film lot turn on. "Attention teams," Chris' voice is heard. "Make sure to have breakfast because in one hour I have a special VR challenge for all of you."

Confessional – Janet – Blazing Gaffers

"Okay, so I needed to do a little pushing for Edgar to confess his feelings for me. It worked out in the end. Despite being cute when nervous, I got to help him get more confident."

Confessional – Jett – Freezing Grips

"Another VR challenge so soon? Haven't done well in these. The last one was in that steampunk world and all I did was get materials for Kristie's machine. Which, as you notice by her not being here, majorly sucked."

End Confessionals

After having breakfast, the two teams, Chris, and Meredith are inside the VR soundstage. All contestants have taken a seat on a gaming chair. Chris is in front of the giant TV screen while Meredith is at the desk with many computers. The historian is apprehensive about giving the facts for today.

"Congrats on making it this far contestants. We all are halfway done with the final season of Total Drama," Chris announced.

"Halfway? Isn't there one or two more challenges we have to do?" Niu questioned perplexed.

"Originally yes, but the producers have noticed they underestimated how much a final season like this can cost. So, to save some cash one full episode will be scrapped," Chris explained. "Is time for today's mixed theme challenges. Take it away Meredith."

Meredith lets out a nervous giggle. "T-today's mix theme is, uh," She takes out a piece of paper from her khaki pants pocket. "Noir Films mixed with Rock and Roll films." She shakes the paper as she reads more. "According to many sources, director Boris Ingster's and RKO's B-film Stranger on the Third Floor was the first full-featured film noir. Which was released in 1940. However, Noirs are deemed ingrained in German Expressionism during the 1920s and 1930s. For example, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari from Germany, 1920."

"Are you okay?" Melissa asked Meredith concerned.

Meredith nods her head rapidly. She proceeds to read more. "The movie Blackboard Jungle, directed by Richard Books in 1955 is considered to be groundbreaking for its use of rock and roll soundtrack. At least when it comes to the western side of the world." The historian crumbles the paper into a ball and swallows it. This weirds everyone out.

"O...kay, thanks for the information, Meredith," Chris thanked. He looks at the contestants. "As my intern said, today's challenge is a mixture of noir films with rock and roll."

Knick and Lucy are the happiest for this challenge because of the Noir theme.

"Lilith would have dominated this challenge," Maverick frowned.

"Each team will be known as detectives in the VR world searching for a missing rock and roll player. Once the musician is found by a team, they must commence a rock and roll battle. If the audience applauds more for the team, that team wins the challenge," Chris explained.

"I have a lot of questions about this," Pharaoh told the host.

"No time for further details. Got to introduce today's cameo and get the challenge going," Chris informed.

"Cameo?" Sara pondered.

"That is right, we are bringing a previous contestant musician as the missing player that must be found," Chris announced.

Daniela is ecstatic to hear this. She might be able to meet her boyfriend on the show. Georgia, however, is terrified since it is possible that Lilith could be doing the cameo.

"He's the winner of Back to the Islands, so please everyone give an applause for Jeremy," Chris proclaimed.

Jeremy enters the soundstage with his messy black hair that has a small braid dyed in pink. He stands at five feet and ten inches with his skinny body. His big smile shows he has a chipped front tooth. He is wearing a brown leather jacket with skulls on the back and underneath it is a black shirt with "Super Happy Death Punch" written on it. He also wears black pants with chains coming out of the pockets and black boots. Lastly, fingerless gloves on his hands.

Georgia gives a big sigh of relief while Daniela gets out of her gaming chair to hug Jeremy and kiss him on the lips.

"Alright Daniela, get back to your seat," Chris instructed.

"We'll talk later," Daniela told Jeremy happily before heading back to the gaming chair.

"Or in the VR. Whichever comes first," Jeremy smiled.

"Chris, this feels like a big advantage for the Freezing Grips since Daniela is Jeremy's boyfriend," Sua figured.

"You and your team won six challenges in a row. I wouldn't be complaining about the Freezing Grips having a slight advantage," Chris said to the idol. "Now everyone put a headset on."

Confessional – Daniela – Freezing Grips

"Funny thing is that while I have a solid grasp on the whereabouts Jeremy could be hidden in, I have no idea how to play guitar. Jeremy is the pro on that. I do stunts. Hopefully, somebody on my team has a decent understanding of playing an instrument. I think Sara has to come in clutch for today's challenge. I remember her playing a wooden guitar in Crowstillo Island."

Confessional – Pharaoh – Blazing Gaffers

"Guess my team and I have to rely on Lucy's detective skills if we want to be a match for Daniela and the Freezing Grips. While the guitar battle will be hard, my team has options around it. Somewhat, I guess. Maverick has been helping manage Lilith's band call The Oddballs. So maybe he has some insight on playing guitar or an instrument. Then there is Buck with the banjo. Sua could be alright, I guess. She's more of a dancer than a musician. Either way, I'm still optimistic about my team's chances of winning."

End Confessionals

The Blazing Gaffers are inside the VR. Everything is black and white with a mixture of grey to it. The girls on the team are wearing veiled hats, lace gloves, demure blouses, pencil skirts, and bow heels. The boys are wearing a homburg hat, pinstripe suit under an overcoat, and black shoes.

The Gaffers look around where they are and notice they are in a large city. They can see traffic on the road.

"Here we are. The team and I look at the city sidewalks, noticing the people walking by happily. I look up to see the moon in full light for today's investigation. A figure has gone missing. But just not any important figure," Lucy talked as the camera does a close-up of her face.

"How are you doing that without moving your mouth?" Sua asked the detective.

"Yeah, kind of freaked out by that," Maverick added.

"I'm narrating. All classic noir films do it," Lucy told her teammates, this time using her mouth.

"Okay, but how do you that?" Edgar wondered.

"It just happens," Lucy shrugged. "You got to be in the zone I guess."

"Oh, I want to try," Janet said joyfully. There is a moment of silence. No narration happens. "Aw, guess it does not work for me."

"Maybe Lucy can only do it because she's the leader for this challenge," Buck believed.

"That would make sense," Pharaoh agreed. "At least for what's happening now."

"As my teammates chat among themselves, my thoughts begin to swirl in my brain on how to solve this case and win the challenge," Lucy said to herself, doing the narration again without moving her mouth.

"We can hear you in your thoughts by the way," Georgia mentioned.

"Oh," Lucy blushed embarrassingly. "In that case, let's go find Jeremy. Everybody, check your pockets or purse to see if any one of you has a card. Usually, when someone calls for a detective, they give them their phone number or a place that can help in the investigation."

The Blazing Gaffers check for a card. Niu finds one in her purse and gives it to Lucy.

"Good job Niu," Lucy gave thanks. She reads what is on the card. "Looks like our first stop is a hotel. Come on gang."

The Freezing Grips are currently already heading to the destined hotel. The boys on the team are wearing a fedora hat, a shirt and tie under a trench coat, a gun holster, high-rise pants, and black shoes. The girls are wearing a wide brim hat, a black dress under a trench coat, and heels.

"When he was with the band, Jeremy will tend to hang out at four-star hotels," Daniela informed her teammates.

"Why four-star hotels?" Christopher wondered.

"His parents felt like five stars are too perfect," Daniela answered.

"Wait, his parents were his manager?" Sara is surprised.

"Used to, lots of things happened after Radiant Redemption," Daniela replied.

"Oh, tell me more," Melissa acknowledged.

"As we walk to the hotel, I begin to wonder how easy this challenge could be having Daniela on my side," Knick narrated without his lips moving. "We see no Blazing Gaffer coming our way. Meaning is possible that we arrived first. However, our first trial would be to talk with the possible manager of the establishment."

"What are you doing?" Jett asked with some annoyance. "And whatever it is stop it."

"I am narrating the events that are being taken place," Knick stated. "Is what many main characters of Noir Films do."

"How much do you want to bet Lucy is doing the same thing with her team?" Sara joked.

"I wonder if anime took inspiration from Noir Films. Since a lot of the time, we hear the thoughts coming from the characters," Melissa conversated.

The Freezing Grips arrive inside the hotel. The group heads to the counter to talk with the front desk agent.

"Good afternoon everyone," The gorgeous female employee said. "Are you all here for a room?"

"We are here on an investigation," Knick replied bluntly. "We have intel that Jeremy has gone missing and must investigate his room that is in here in this hotel."

"I'm sorry sir, but you are going to have to be more specific. I have seen and written down the names of many people call Jeremy," The employee said to the journalist nicely.

"Jeremy Standford," Daniela gave her boyfriend's full name.

"Alright, let's see," The employee grabs a large book near her and opens it. "Ah yes, this Jeremy. He is staying in room 301."

"Thanks, but we need a key to enter the room since he is not there," Knick stated. "As I said previously, this Jeremy fellow has gone missing."

"I'm sorry people, but only the guest at the room has access to opening and closing it," The employee apologized.

"Surely you have a backup key," Melissa said to the employee. "And if not, the employees that clean the rooms here must have one for Jeremy's room."

"Yes, that is correct. But I cannot let any of you dwell on the privacy of the guest. None of you seem to be friends with him anyway," The employee replied.

"I'm his girlfriend," Daniela said as she put a hand on the counter. "These people here are helping me find him because he has gone missing."

"Is there any proof to that?" The employee is skeptical.

Daniela looks in her trench coat pockets and purse for proof.

"I can knock the door down when we get to the room," Christopher whispered to Sara.

"That will give us more harm than good," Melissa believed.

"We can assert our authority," Christopher gave another idea. "We are detectives. We do have guns."

"Sure, what a brilliant idea to cause a scene," Jett said sarcastically to the kung fu warrior. "Let's make everyone here go in a panic frenzy."

Hearing the sound of the entrance doors open, half of the Freezing Grips turn around to see the Blazing Gaffers arriving.

"I have an idea to distract them," Knick stated to his teammates.

Sara and Christopher approach the Blazing Gaffers with smirks on their faces. Christopher has a key in his hand.

"You're too late suckers," Sara taunted. She and her boyfriend head to an elevator that opened with people stepping off.

Maverick and Sua head into the elevator before it closes.

"What floor could they be going to?" Lucy wondered.

"Let's just take the stairs and have everyone be on one floor to check which one it is," Niu proposed a plan.

The Blazing Gaffers listen to her plan and proceed to walk up the stairs. Except for Lucy who notices the other Freezing Grips still talking with the front desk agent. The detective grabs the arms of Georgia and Edgar before they head up the stairs.

"Look," Lucy told the two boys. The trio watches Knick, Jett, Melissa, and Daniela walking down a hallway of the first floor. "We need to follow them undetected."

"How are we supposed to do that?" Edgar asked. "They will know we are spying on them."

"We will need a disguise," Georgia gave a thought. She notices a male employee moving a housekeeping cart. She smirks at the opportunity bestowed upon her. "And I have the perfect way to do it."

Inside the elevator, the four contestants stare at each other. Unsure whether to spark a conversation or not.

"We're going to need that key," Maverick told the Freezing Grips couple.

"Are you suggesting a round two?" Sara played with a coy tone.

Sua responds by hitting Sara's face with her purse. Christopher goes to help his girlfriend, but Maverick shoulder bashes his chest to push him to a wall of the elevator.

Confessional – Maverick – Blazing Gaffers

"I don't like using violence at all, but I made the exception since I'm in virtual reality, so the fight isn't going to damage my body. Plus, Sua started the brawl. I had to get in anyway."

End Confessional

Christopher goes to take his gun out of his holster, but Sua puts her veiled hat on his face to distract him. Sara grabs the gun to aim at one of the Gaffers yet Maverick kicks the gun off her hand. This sends the gun to a corner of the elevator.

"Would you really hit a girl?" Sara pouted, pretending to feel scared. Noticing Maverick's hesitation, she takes the opportunity to bash his head on the elevator. "Sorry, is for the challenge," She apologized.

Maverick punches Sara's stomach with his elbow to get her off him. Christopher pins Sua on the ground with his knees as the veiled hat falls off his face. The warrior removes his trench coat so he can use it to tie Sua's hands and legs together.

Maverick grabs the gun and… Sara crushes his hand with her foot.

"Oh, come on, that's the same hand Christopher stepped on," The promoter complained. Sure, is not going to hurt him outside the VR that much but it is annoying it has happened twice.

Christopher puts the gun back in his holster. "Tie him up as well."

"Got it," Sara understood. She puts her knees on Maverick's back, removes her trench coat, and ties the promoter's hands and legs together.

The elevator opens on the third floor. Christopher and Sara step out of the elevator. Christopher presses a button on the elevator to close it.

"Bye-bye," Sara waved at Maverick and Sua are who inside the elevator. As the machine's door closes, the two Blazing Gaffers are glaring at the couple.

"They're here," Niu shouted at the staircase. Buck, Janet, and Pharaoh arrive to help her out. The four Gaffers get in front of the couple.

Christopher and Sara grin at each other and get into a martial art stance. Niu, Buck, Janet, and Pharaoh have no idea how to take the two down.

Jett, Knick, Melissa, and Daniela are walking around the hallways of the first floor.

"I can't believe Meredith or whoever programmed our clothes did not put anything in my outfit about Jeremy. Not even a picture of us together," Daniela is slightly irritated.

"Well, Chris doesn't want to make it too easy for us," Melissa assumed.

"Yeah, but how are we going to enter the room now without a key? Christopher and Sara are strong but who knows how long they'll last against the Blazing Gaffers," Jett asked his teammates.

The four Grips hear giggling coming from the corner of a hallway nearby.

"Be quiet," Knick shushed with a whisper. The four grips put their backs on a wall to hear the conversation.

"I didn't expect to get along with a new employee at work so soon," Another lady worker spoke.

"Well, I do like to get to know my co-workers whenever I have a new job for that special bonding," Georgia's voice is heard, shocking the Freezing Grips. "By the way, are you taking care of a room by the guest named Jeremy Stanford?"

"Yeah, I was just about to go to the third floor and provide service," The employee replied.

"Why don't you let me clean the room? You can use a break," Georgia offered.

"Sure," The employee had no issue with this.

The Grips can hear the employee give the room key to Georgia. When the employee drives the housekeeping cart down the hallway, the four Freezing Grips get in front of her.

"Detective Knick and his team of crime busters," Knick stated. "We will be needing your housekeeping cart."

Back on the third floor, the Blazing Gaffers there are still trying to figure out how to deal with Sara and Christopher.

"I doubt any of you four want to fight us," Sara said.

"You're right," Niu understands the situation. "Proceed to the room. My team and I are going to look inside when both of you are done with it anyway."

Christopher and Sara head down the hallway in search of the room. Niu rushes at Sara and sweeps the sweet bad girl's feet. Sara falls to the ground. Niu then kicks Christopher's kiwis to immobilize him.

"She's a keeper," Pharaoh told Buck.

Janet goes to grab the key Christopher has in his hand. Having the key in her hand, she notices something funny. "Are hotel keys supposed to have an alarm button? And two buttons with locks on them?"

Niu, Buck, and Pharoah get close to Janet to look at the key.

"We've been duped. This is a car key," Pharaoh said.

"Let's head back to the first floor," Buck advised.

The four Blazing Gaffers head down the stairs while Sara helps Christopher get up from the floor.

On the other side of the third floor is Georgia with her housekeeping cart. She opens room 301 with the key given to her. She opens two cabinet doors from the cart. Edgar and Lucy are in the constricted space.

"Wish this wasn't so tight to be in," Edgar complained.

"Just get out already," Lucy said to the emo. The two Blazing Gaffers exit from the cart and stand up. "Make sure to lock the door on the way in," The detective told Georgia.

The trio enters the messy room. It looks like a crime scene with all the stuff thrown around and broken. As soon as Georgia tries to close the door, A foot appears to block the shutting.

"Thanks for letting us in," Knick smiled as he enters the room. Melissa, Jett, and Daniela stand behind him.

"Okay, Jeremy is never this messy," Daniela said, looking around the room.

"We were here first," Lucy told Knick and his companions.

"Oh yeah? Well, Jett and I have guns. What are you going to do about that?" Knick said to his ex.

"Please, as if you would ever shoot me," Lucy rolled her eyes.

"I've shot you plenty of times," Knick smirked and gave a wink to his ex.

"Awe, haven't shot the girlfriend you have now yet?" Lucy mocked.

"No wonder you two broke up," Jett chuckled.

Daniela, Melissa, Edgar, and Georgia search around the room for any hidden clues that can lead to Jeremy's location. Melissa notices a pamphlet on the ground and looks at it. It is an invitation to a rock and roll party.

"Guys, I may have just discovered where Jeremy could be," Melissa announced. She gets blind momentarily from a camera flash.

"Thanks for the assistance," Georgia said to the athletic nerd, holding a camera in her hands that she took out from her purse since it is open. "Let's go team." She heads out of the room with Lucy and Edgar following her.

Confessional – Georgia – Blazing Gaffers

"Considering the position that I am in, is time to actually aid assistance with my team."

End Confessional

The Blazing Gaffers pass Christopher and Sara who are heading to the room. The couple stops in confusion as to why those three are going the opposite way. Knick, Daniela, Jett, and Melissa arrive running.

"We have a lead. Let's head downstairs and grab a cab," Knick commanded. His teammates comprehend and they all take the stairs.

Edgar presses the down button on the wall next to the elevator. The elevator doors open to reveal Sua and Maverick still tied up with the trench coats wrapped around their legs and wrists. Lucy immediately goes to untie Sua while Edgar unties Maverick. Georgia presses the close button and then the first-floor button inside the elevator.

"What happened to you two?" Lucy asked her teammates.

"We got into another brawl with Christopher and Sara," Maverick answered.

"Funnily enough I think we told each other not to duel them again but oh well," Sua shrugged. "At least this time it was in virtual reality."

"We wouldn't need to fight them if you didn't hit Sara with your purse," Maverick revealed.

"She was asking for it," Sua replied.

"Okay yeah, but we were better off not dueling," Maverick made sure his teammate was in the wrong.

"Then why did you enter the elevator with me in the first place?" Sua questioned.

"Because I was going after the key," Maverick explained. "Which was a dud and…"

"You two stop, focus, and listen to me," Lucy said. "Georgia, Edgar, and I found out where Jeremy could probably be. We need to quickly find our other team members since the Freezing Grips have regrouped and are going to the same spot."

Confessional – Edgar – Blazing Gaffers

"Wish I could have Lucy's assortative authority," He frowned.

End Confessional

On the first floor Buck, Niu, Janet, and Pharaoh see the Freezing Grips heading out of the hotel.

"Do you think they know where Jeremy is?" Janet asked.

Buck sees an elevator open. The rest of his teammates come out.

"We need to find a taxi now," Lucy informed her wandering teammates as she, Edgar, Georgia, Maverick, and Sua pass them.

Confessional – Sara – Freezing Grips

"This is one of the few times where being a small team comes in handy. All of us can fit in a taxi. A tight squeeze, but we can do it."

End Confessional

The Freezing Grips are currently standing next to a taxi that they called for. The driver notices the group when Christopher opens the passenger door.

"Only five can fit in here and that's pushing it," The driver said.

"Looks like one of us will have to be in the trunk," Sara told her team. "Who here is the most flexible?" She asked as she opens the trunk of the taxi.

No one wants to squeeze in there so nobody raises their hand.

"Alright, we will do this the easy way," Daniela said smiling. "Eeny, meeny, miny, you."

Daniela grabs Jett and stuffs him into the trunk. Then she closes it before the runaway can protest. Melissa looks concerned for her alliance member.

"Alright, let's head in quick," Knick ordered and the rest of Freezing Grips enter the taxi. They tell their destination to the driver.

Around the other block, Lucy is waving her hand in the air and yelling for a taxi.

"This is ridiculous. All of us are not going to fit in a taxi," Georgia said to her team. "We should just get on a bus."

"That will take more time to get to our destination," Maverick replied to the actress.

"Plus, we don't know if any of the busses can drop us off at the exact location," Edgar added.

"Think you can make a vehicle on the fly?" Niu asked her boyfriend.

"I need lots of materials to do that," Buck answered, confirming he cannot.

"I wish Chris or Meredith implanted us having detective badges. Things would be much easier with those," Pharaoh gave a thought.

"Which is why they were never given to us in the first place," Sua said to the fake royal with a content smile.

"These taxis are ignoring Lucy a lot," Janet pointed out as the team sees taxis passing the detective. One of the taxis gets close to a water puddle to spray water on Lucy.

"Jerk!" Lucy shouted.

"I've seen enough. This challenge is mostly Noir Films based. Which means we need a femme fatale for this," Georgia concluded. She pushes Lucy out of her way. Then she raises her skirt and leg to get the attention of taxi drivers coming her way.

What proceeds next is various taxi drivers crashing into each other to give Georgia a ride. Two are able to make it to where the Blazing Gaffers are.

"All of you are welcome," Georgia said to her teammates smugly as she brings down her leg and adjusts her skirt.

Confessional – Maverick – Blazing Gaffers

"I can see one of the reasons why Pharaoh put up with Georgia. Honestly, if she did not have that nastiness to her, I would totally ask her out in a heartbeat."

End Confessional

Both teams arrive at an underground rock and roll concert. There is a band performing on stage.

"Isn't your boyfriend more of a heavy metal dude?" Knick asked Daniela.

"Yeah but is not like Chris is going to make this challenge heavy metal for him," Daniela answered.

"Hey guys, where is Jett?" Melissa wondered.

This is when the five Freezing Grips realize something. They forgot Jett is in the trunk of the taxi.

"I'll go find him," Christopher said.

"Wait," Daniela grabbed his arm. "He's going to be alright. This is virtual reality. Nothing is going to hurt him."

"Maybe scar him," Knick stated.

"Whatever, we have a bigger problem anyway. Look," Sara showed the Blazing Gaffers splitting up and searching for Jeremy around the audience.

"Anyone wants to help me enter backstage?" Daniela asked. "I have a feeling Jeremy could be there if he is performing."

"I'll go with you," Knick replied. "Sara will be joining to perform and beat Jeremy with the cheers of the audience."

"I don't know how to use an electric guitar," Sara told Knick.

"You're the only one out of the team who plays an instrument," Knick spoke the truth.

"Indeed," Christopher agreed as he looks at his girlfriend. "Plus, you can sing. Beautifully I might add. Jeremy does not have that quality."

"Alright, alright, I'll do it. Let's just find Jeremy," Sara gave in.

Edgar, Maverick, and Lucy decided to stick together to find Jeremy.

"Maybe one of us should get on stage and ask where Jeremy is," Edgar suggested.

"Not a bad idea, but I have a feeling where he could be," Lucy said to her teammates.

"Really? You have a lead?" Maverick pondered.

"No, but I have a gut feeling. Jeremy being kidnapped and potentially being brought here means that the one who is responsible for the action wants to force Jeremy to perform," Lucy concluded. "Unless Jeremy wants to fake his kidnapping to just go to an underground concert. Which is ridiculous."

"Where are we heading then?" Edgar enquired.

Lucy notices Daniela, Knick, and Sara talking with a bodyguard who is standing in front of a backstage door. She smirks, having come up with an idea. "Follow my lead."

"I am telling you that I am Jeremy's girlfriend and I need to see him," Sara told the guard.

"As if I'm going to believe that. Now get out of my face or things are going to get ugly," The guard threatened.

Knick takes out his gun and points it at the guard. "Bring us to Jeremy now. You wouldn't want hundreds of people leaving this place and ruining the image of the person behind making the concert, would you?"

The guard opens the door and lets Knick, Sara, and Daniela in the backstage room without saying a word.

Confessional – Knick – Freezing Grips

"Didn't want to do threats with a gun in the challenge but those NPCs, at least that's what my younger sister Susie calls them were being difficult to deal with it."

End Confessional

Daniela, Sara, and Knick find Jeremy looking at a chocolate fountain.

"Jeremy," Daniela called.

Jeremy looks to his left and notices the Freezing Grips walking toward him.

"Hey great, you three found me," The heavy metal guitarist smiled.

"I expected you to be tied up in a chair with rope," Knick said disappointed.

"Yeah, this isn't really Noir Film-ish," Sara added.

"You two wanted my boyfriend to suffer?" Daniela is baffled.

"Don't worry Daniela. He would be alright. This is virtual reality. Nothing is going to hurt him," Sara mocked, practically using the same phrase the stuntwoman said about Jett.

"Whatever let's just get this over with," Daniela said. She looks at Jeremy. "You have a spare guitar on you?"

"There's a few of them leaning on that wall over there," Jeremy pointed out. "I'll go on stage and wait for those facing against me." He gets on stage with his electric guitar.

"You can do this Sara," Knick believed without showing much emotion. "If not, we lose."

"Geez, thanks for the encouraging support," Sara replied sarcastically. She goes to grab a guitar and heads on stage.

"If only Jeremy was the judge and not the audience. We would easily win this challenge," Daniela sparked a conversation. Knick simply nods.

"We're almost late," Lucy exclaimed, which makes Knick and Daniela turn around to see her, Maverick, and Edgar.

"Maverick catch," Lucy said as she threw an electric guitar at the promoter.

Maverick catches it and knows what to do. Rock and roll on the stage to win the challenge. Edgar decides to join him. The two Blazing Gaffers are on stage with Jeremy and Sara.

"Oh no, she's going to sing," Maverick looked at Sara having a microphone stand next to her with the microphone on it. "I don't sing. We're going to get our butts cooked."

Edgar gulps. He gets nervous. "I have a way to win the challenge."

Maverick looks at the emo curiously.

"Are you guys ready to rock?" Jeremy shouted at the audience to raise their excitement. While he gets the crowd more hype, Maverick finds a microphone on a stand and passes it to Edgar.

Edgar decides to make the first move and starts singing a fragment of "In the End" by Linking Mark, from the album reanimation.

"Sors immanis
Et inanis,
Rota tu volubilis
Status malus
Vana salus
Semper dissolubilis

Obumbrata
Et velata
Michi quoque niteris
Nunc per ludum
Dorsum nudum
Fero tui sceleris.

Sors salutis
Et virtutis
Michi nunc contraria,
Est affectus
Et defectus
Semper in angaria.
Hac in hora
Sine mora
Corde pulsum tangite
Quod per sortem
Sternit fortem
Mecum omnes plangite."

There is a moment of silence amongst the crowd. Then, they start cheering for Edgar for the spectacular beautiful singing performance. The Blazing Gaffers also cheer. The team disappears in bright light as well as the Freezing Grips. This means the challenge is over.

Confessional – Sara – Freezing Grips

"Crud didn't think Edgar would do that. I expected Maverick to be performing. Oh well, is not like I'm going to get eliminated tonight. Though, I did kind of want to sing again."

Confessional – Edgar – Blazing Gaffers

"One of my hobbies is singing. I don't like to talk about it too much since I keep it to myself. But I want to impress Janet and win a challenge for my team. Yeah, I wasn't excited about the horror musical challenge. But that was because I don't like being forced to sing. I sing when I want to," The emo explained.

He thinks of what else to say. "I could have gone with a rock or metal song to sing, but I felt more comfortable singing opera. It worked out in the end. If Hilda is watching this, she would be proud."

End Confessionals

Inside the VR soundstage, the Blazing Gaffers are cheering for Edgar while the Freezing Grips exit out from the building. Except for Daniela who is spending time with Jeremy.

"Well, I don't think I need to say much. Edgar with his stunning opera singing clutched out a win for the Blazing Gaffers," Chris said to the viewers. He looks at the Blazing Gaffers leaving the building with the exception of Edgar and Janet. "I'll be seeing the Freezing Grips at the Glided Chris Awards tonight," The host added.

"You were amazing out there," Janet is joyful and proud of Edgar.

"Thanks," Edgar blushes. "I wanted to show you what I'm capable of and more."

Janet hugs Edgar happily. The emo hugs the space geek back with a big smile on his face.

It is now sunset. Knick is inside the crafts and services tent writing in his journal at his team's table. Melissa stands in front of the table.

"May I sit?" Melissa asked kindly.

"No," Knick answered bluntly.

Melissa sits at the table anyway, surprising Knick by this action momentarily.

"Where are Christopher and Sara?" Melissa wondered.

"Christopher is helping Sara with the book she is writing since there will be some martial art fighting in the story," Knick answered as he kept looking at his journal and writing on it.

"That's great for her. Perhaps you were the one to convince her to do that?" Melissa inquired smugly.

Knick does not say anything, but his teammate can tell he did do that.

"I got some information you need to know," Melissa stated. She grabs Knick's journal and pencil to write something on it. She shows the journalist what she wrote.

"You're bluffing," Knick narrowed his eyes.

"How could I be bluffing when I convinced her to do it," Melissa said calmly and complacently.

Knick grips his pencil. "She would never…"

"What? Your number one fan wanting to one-up you? The student wants to beat the master. Face it, Knick, you let her stay and it will be your downfall," Melissa warned. "I await your decision at the ceremony." She leaves the crafts and services tent.

Knick looks at the writing again in his journal. What should he do?

Outside the tent is Jett standing. Melissa taps his shoulder to let him know she had a chat with the journalist.

"Mission successful. Hopefully, both of us are able to escape this elimination," Melissa said. "Good idea using Daniela's betrayal of trust."

"Thank you. And you did a wonderful job getting into his head," Jett smirked and complimented. "You're pretty hot playing the villain. You just need a more soothing voice."

"Oh?" Melissa mused. She twirls a bit of Jett's hair. "Is this soothing enough for you?"

Jett blushes, which causes Melissa to stop and chuckle. They notice how close they are to each other's faces and back away. Then they turn around.

"I'll see you tonight," Jett spoke.

"Likewise," Melissa replied.

It is night. The remaining Freezing Grips are sitting at the bleacher of the Glided Chris Award Ceremony. The males are sitting in the first two rows while the females sit in the two upper decks. Each contestant is holding their voting device. Chris is back with his fancy outfit. Next to him on stage is that same glass table with Glided Chris Awards on top. Those being five.

"It was too good to be true," Chris said to the team smiling. "For a moment I thought this team wouldn't wind up here again. Oh well, guess this solidifies the Freezing Grips as the worst Total Drama team ever in history."

"Glad to know I am always on the best team," Jett said sarcastically.

"Is time to decide who will be taking the lame-o-sine tonight. All of you may cast your votes," Chris instructed.

Everyone presses a button on the voting device while making sure no one checks the other's pick. Chris takes out his phone to look at the results and puts it back in his pants pocket.

"The following members are safe. Christopher, Sara, Melissa, and Jett. Congrats you four," Chris announced. He tosses one by one a Glided Chris Award. "Daniela and Knick, you two know there is only one Glided Chris Award left on the table. Both of you have reasons to go home. Knick, you're practically always at the bottom and yet somehow manage to scrap by due to other teammates messing up their gameplan. Which solidifies you as a huge threat when the merge comes."

Knick does not say a word.

"Really? You got nothing to say about that?" Chris asked the journalist.

"No, is obvious the position that I am in. You don't have to point out what people can figure out easily," Knick stated.

"Oh, I'm Knick, I think I'm so smart," Chris mocked. "Blah, blah, blah."

"Real mature," Was Knick's response.

"And Daniela, despite not being considered a threat you have managed to make enemies with almost your whole team. Which has gotten you into a pickle many times. Just like now," Chris said to the stuntwoman.

"I've been able to slip by well for so long. I'm going to do it again tonight," Daniela proclaimed confidently.

"Well, if you're feeling that lucky then you wouldn't mind me telling who is in and who is out," Chris smirked. He grabs the remaining glided award on the table. "The last glided award goes to…"

"Knick!" Chris exclaimed as he tosses the award to the journalist.

Daniela stands up in shock. "What? How?"

"Should have stayed on my side and not go with the enemy," Knick answered. He opens his journal and shows it to the stuntwoman. Daniela figures out the handwriting quickly.

"You told him?" Daniela looked at Melissa flabbergasted as she closes the book in anger.

"Need to make sure I stay in the game," Melissa shrugged without care.

"We could have convinced them to get rid of Jett," Daniela told.

"Could a, should a, didn't," Jett said, joyful in his triumph.

"Daniela is time to head to the lame-o-sine," Chris informed.

"Alright," Daniela accepted the loss. She gets out of the bleacher. "I probably deserve losing like this anyway." She turns around to look at the remaining Freezing Grips. "Good luck everyone." She heads to the lame-o-sine.

"I miss the time the contestants will get mad about losing instead of accepting the loss," Chris frowned. He quickly smiles. "Oh well, the rest of you enjoy sleeping tonight. If you can that is."

This frightens a bit the Freezing Grips.

Confessional – Jett – Freezing Grips

"A part of me wanted Daniela and Knick to go at it in a tiebreaker since whoever loses is a win in my book. However, after Daniela shoved me in that taxicab that changed everything. One can still feel the effects of getting hurt in the virtual world. Not as severe but it still stings. Besides, Daniela wasn't going to join the Pre-Merge Alliance anyway. She made the merge in Back to the Islands. Overall, I say I won this scenario. Now I just need to make sure Melissa and I help the team get a win because frankly, another loss is definitely a game over."

End Confessional

Chris is on stage at the Glided Award Ceremony. He is looking at a camera to end the episode. "Fourteen contestants remain competing for the ultimate prize! Couples have been growing and growing. More than half that continue to compete are in a relationship. Wonder if any of them will last long. Anyway, how will Melissa and Jett handle their tactics? Can Georgia bounce back from her fall of villainy? Which alliance will prevail? The Crowstillo Alliance or the Pre-Merge Alliance? And will Sua team up with Georgia? The answer to all of these questions will be in the next episode of Total… Drama… Lights, Camera, Finale!"

Author's Note: The challenge for this chapter was reworked a lot. But I finally came across a way to make this fun. At least for me when writing this. Though, I will admit there was not much rock and roll until the near end of the challenge. Even then Edgar sang an opera song. Fun fact, the song Edgar sang was from his audition tape. The creator of Edgar felt that him not being happy for the horror musical was OOC, so I implanted a reason for why Edgar did not want to sing there and decided to sing in this challenge. I know I messed up a bit, but I tried my best to rework that issue here.

As for the eliminated contestant. Well, after winning the second challenge for her team, Daniela cost some losses for the Freezing Grips. Out of the remaining players left in the game, she felt the least deserving to make the merge. Still had fun writing her and this betrayal has already begun helping her realize what she was doing wrong.
