"Mommy, what are you doing?" Sofia was sitting on Callie´s bed watching her mother take all her clothes out of her closet.

"I'm changing, honey" Callie replied, focused on choosing her outfit for the evening.

"But you already did, mommy, three times..." Sofia frowned; she couldn't understand why her mother was trying on all her clothes.

"Well... yes I did... but I want to look nice..." She knelt and kissed Sofia's forehead.

"Do you want to look nice like Lexi does for daddy?"

Callie froze, not knowing how to answer. "No. I... I just like to get dressed up sometimes. No reason." She smiled at Sofia, who was staring at her. "What do you think? How do I look?" Callie asked, after changing into her fourth outfit.

Sofia smiled back. "You look really nice, mommy. I want to look nice too. I need to get changed!"

"Sof, you're perfect. Why don't you help to clean all this mess before Arizona gets here?"

"Really?" Callie nodded. "Ok" Several minutes later, the bedroom was clean and you could walk around freely, without stepping on any of Callie's dresses.

"I think we're finished in here. I'll check on the dinner"

"When will Dr. Zona be here?"

"I don't know sweetheart"

"I'll look for my dolls, so I can show them to her." Sofia said excitedly, as she ran out of the room.

"Don't run baby, you know the rules."

"Sorry, mommy." Sofia yelled.

Callie was in the kitchen when she heard a knock at the door. She froze instantly, her heart racing. She was excited to spend time with Arizona outside the hospital. It wasn't a date, but it was an important first step.

"Mommy, she's here!" Sofia yelled as she approached the door. "I'll get it"

"Sofia, wait. You know the rules! Callie warned her. But she was too late to stop her daughter; the door opened to reveal Arizona standing there with a huge smile on her face.

"Dr. Zona!" Sofia hugged Arizona's leg.

"Hi, baby, how have you been?" It had only been a few days since Arizona had last seen Sofia, but she had missed the little girl.

"Fine. I have a new doll" Sofia said excitedly.

"That's great." Arizona smiled at her and looked up at Callie, who was staring at her. "May I come in?"

"God, yes! I'm sorry. Sofia, where are our manners? Arizona, please, come in" Callie was even more nervous than she had been the night of their first date. And tonight was not a date, she reminded herself again.

"Can I show Dr. Zona my room mommy?"

"Sofia, don't be rude. Let Arizona get comfortable, first."

Arizona noticed the disappointment on Sofia's face. "Just give me a minute, and I'll come see all your dolls, ok?"

"Yes! I have a lot of them" Sofia pointed out, concerned.

Arizona laughed. "That's ok. We've got time, I think." Callie was watching Sofia interact with Arizona, and she loved it. "But first, I need to say hi to your mommy, too." Arizona smiled at Sofia and approached Callie.

"Mommy, changed her clothes four times" Sofia let out, making Callie instantly flushed. "She wanted to be pretty." Arizona glanced at Callie, unable to hold back a laugh.

"Thanks, Sofia" Callie whispered, although, Arizona could hear her.

"Well, I must to say that she succeeded, don't you think?" In fact, Arizona noticed that Callie looked great even before Sofia pointed it. But Sofia's comment was a good excuse to look even more closely at Callie's body.

Sofia nodded enthusiastically. "How do I look?" Sofia asked showing Arizona her pink dress and her tiny shoes.

"Beautiful, you look beautiful." Sofia smiled proudly.

"Hi" Arizona said, looking at Callie. For a moment she forgot the little girl standing there.

"Hello." She smiled. Her cheeks keep blushed. "Usually, I change clothes -"

Arizona interrupted. "Callie, you look great." Whatever chance Callie had that her cheeks might resume their natural colour was now lost.

"Thank you, and you too..."

"I brought wine. I wasn't sure which you are usually drink. I hope you like red."

"I love it. Thank you. I would have guessed that you'd prefer white." Callie wanted to know how many of Arizona´s habit remained the same.

"I'm not allowed to drink"

"Zona, can we go now?" Sofia was impatient to show her dolls to Arizona.

Arizona directed her gaze toward Callie, looking for her approval. "Do you mind if I.." she said, pointing at Sofia.

"Go." Callie smiled at her. "But don't take too long, dinner's almost ready."

"We won't, mommy" Sofia answered while she dragged Arizona by the hand towards her bedroom.

"That smells delicious, Callie." Arizona said, before going inside Sofia's room. Callie smiled and went to the kitchen.

"This is Sheila. Do you like her?" Sofia asked about her doll.

"I do. She's very pretty. And he's Is very nice too. What's his name?" Arizona asked, pointing to a bear on Sofia's bed.

"Arturo. Daddy gave him to me for my birthday."

"Arturo is a beautiful name."

Sofia smiled. "Most of my toys are in my house. Mommy said that I couldn't bring them all." Sofia said, disappointed.

" That's too bad. You do have a lot here, though." Sofia shrugged.

"Which one do you want to play with?"

"Ooh. That's a tough choice. " Arizona said pretending she was thinking. "I choose Arturo"

"Ok. So, I'll choose Grumpy" Sofia took another toy.

Fifteen minutes passed when Arizona stood up. "Don't you want play?" Sofia asked.

"I'd love too, sweetie; I just think I should go and help your mom. She's doing all the work and she's all by herself." Arizona explained.

"Ok." Sofia said unconvinced. "Can we play after dinner?"

"We'll see, ok?" She didn't want promise her something she wasn't sure she could do. She suspected that after dinner Callie would want Sofia to get ready for bed, which wouldn't leave time for more play tonight. She kissed Sofia on the forehead and headed toward the kitchen.

"Can I help you?" Arizona asked.

"Hey!, Did she let you get away?" Callie teased.

"Kind of." Arizona laughed. "She wasn't thrilled, but I told her that I should help you and she understood."

"I have everything under control here, thanks."

Arizona was standing behind Callie, looking at the meal. "That looks fantastic." Her head was almost over Callie's shoulder.

"And haven't even tasted it yet" Callie said, supressing the urge to turn her head and kiss Arizona on the lips. "Ok, it's ready"

"Hmm, I can't wait." Arizona said smiling.

"Sofia, wash your hands and come to the table. Dinner is ready."

"I'm coming" Sofia yelled from her room.

Callie directed Arizona to a chair. "Have a seat, please"

"Thank you."

"You;re welcome. Please help yourself; Sofia will be here any second." Callie passed Arizona the chicken. "Sofia" Callie called her again.

"I'm here, mommy. Can I sit beside Arizona?" She didn't wait for an answer. Callie just smiled and nodded.

When all were served, Callie indicated that they should start. "Enjoy," she said, looking at Arizona.

Arizona tasted the first bite. Callie was staring anxiously at her. "Oh my god, Callie, this is delicious!"

" You're sure you like it?" she asked, excited.

"I really am. I love it."

A big smiled appeared on Callie's face. "Thank you. I'm glad."

The three women ate silently until Sofia blurted out. "Rebeca doesn't like it"

"Who is she?" Arizona asked confused.

Before Callie could speak, Sofia answered. "The silly girlfriend, " she said, remembering Arizona's word.

Callie couldn't help laughing. Arizona looked at Callie and smiled. "Like I said, she was really silly, wasn't she?" Sofia nodded and continued eating.

"I think you should looking for a new girlfriend" Arizona whispered to Callie.

"You think?" Callie was looking deeply Arizona's eyes.

"Absolutely. I have not doubts. You are a brilliant surgeon, an amazing cook, you are gorgeous, you are-" She paused herself.

"Thank you." That was all that Callie managed to say.

"Daddy says that I'll be a great big sister." Sofia interrupted.

"I'm sure you will, sweetie" Arizona said. "Are you excited?"

"That's all she talks about" Callie said rolling her eyes.

"Do you have brothers?" Callie tensed when she heard Sofia's question.

After a few second Arizona answered with a weak smile. "I don't know."

Sofia frowned. "You don't know?"

"Sofia, do you want ice cream?" Callie tried to change the subject, but Sofia didn't hear her, focussed as she was on Arizona.

"How come you don't know?" Sofia insisted innocently.

"Well... I - I'm sick and I can't remember some things about my past." She looked at the empty plate in front of her.

"And your daddy and mommy?" Sofia kept asking.

"Sofia!" Callie warned as she noticed that Arizona was unconfortable.

"It's ok, Callie. She's just a child. It must be confusing to her." She watched at Sofia. "I don't remember them either honey."

"Mommy, can you cure Arizona?" Sofia asked, concerned.

With that simple question, Callie felt sick. She wished with all her heart that she was able to heal Arizona, but she wasn´t. And that was killing her. She wanted nothing more than for Arizona to be well again.

"I can't Sof, I wish I could, but I can't" She saw Arizona smiling weakly.

"But you're a doctor, mommy."

"Yes, but I'm a bone doctor, and Arizona's head is what's giving her problems." Callie explained.

"Does it hurt?" Sofia asked concerned.

"Not often, honey, just sometimes." Arizona sighed. "What about the ice cream?" She said, wanting to change the subject.

"Yes, mommy, we want the ice cream!" Sofia seemed have forgotten about Arizona's memory problems.

"I'll help you with the table." Arizona told Callie.

"I'm sorry, Arizona, for-" Callie couldn't finish.

"Hey, it's ok, really." Arizona squeezed Callie's arm and smiled. She saw the sadness in her eyes. "I'm fine, Callie, really." Callie smiled back.

"I want chocolate, mommy, and cookies"

"I know, Sof, and you?" Callie answered at Arizona.

"The same, of course" Callie laughed. "I think I'm having dinner with two kids today."

"Hey!, What's wrong with chocolate and cookies?"

"None, I'm just saying" Callie was happy. She was dining with her daughter and the woman she loved. She missed Arizona in her life. Every time she had the chance to spend time with her she became more convinced that she made a mistake when she doubted Arizona. She wasn't able to change the past, but she can could the future. And she would.

The rest of dinner was filled with jokes and stories about Sofia. Arizona enjoyed every single anecdote Callie shared.

When Sofia yawned, Callie saw the opportunity to spend time alone with Arizona. "Sof, it's time to go to bed."

"No, mommy, please. I'm not tired yet."

Arizona laughed. "Sofia, sweetie. I can see you're getting sleepy."

"Say good night to Arizona." Callie was standing now, waiting for Sofia.

"But, mommy, please.. Just a little longer." Sofia whined.

"Sofia." Callie looked seriously at her. Sofia recognized the warning in her mother's tone.

"Good night, Arizona." Sofia kissed Arizona's cheek. Arizona noticed that she was furrowing her brow. "Hey, honey, don't be mad!, it's really late." Arizona hugged tightly at Sofia and started to tickle her.

"No, Zona, please! I'm not angry, I swear!" Sofia was said dying with laughter. Callie watched the scene, smiling.

"Ok... that's better. Sweet dreams."

Callie looked at Arizona. "Do you mind if I go with her for a minutes?"

"Not at all. Take your time."

"Thank you, I'll be back." Callie picked up Sofia to go to the bedroom, after Sofia had brushed her teeth.

"Callie? May I use your bathroom?"

"Sure. It's the second door."

"Thank you." Callie smiled at her and entered in Sofia's room.

Sofia needed only fifteen minutes before she fell asleep. Callie was thankful for that. They would continue with the princess' adventures tomorrow. As she got to the third page she heard Sofia's peaceful snores and quietly left the room.

Callie closed the door carefully, not want to risk waking Sofia. She glanced towards the couch, hoping to see Arizona there, but she wasn't. She waited two minutes, before to walk to the bathroom.

As she got closer to the door, she could hear Arizona throwing up. Callie froze, unsure whether she should knock on the door or simply wait for Arizona to come out.

"Arizona, are you ok?" Callie couldn't wait. She needed to know that Arizona was fine. And if she wasn't, Callie needed to do everything, to make her feel better.

"Yeah... I'll be right out" Arizona said, her voice shaky.

Callie decided opened the door, worried. "Hey, what's wrong?" She asked, concern evident in her voice. She knelt behind Arizona, who was holding the toilet.

"Everything is fine, really." But, she started throwing up, again. Immediately, Callie held her hair and rubbed Arizona's back. When Arizona could speak again, she watched Callie. "You don't need to do this, really. I'm fine." She said, trying to calm her breathing.

"Shh, It's ok, sweetie. I want to be here, just tell me when you are feeling better, for real... ok?" Arizona smiled weakly and nodded.

A few minutes later, Arizona started to feeling better. "This is a shame." She sighed and got up.

"Don't be ridiculous. How are you feeling?" Callie asked, concerned.

"I'm better, thank you."

"Ok, I'll make you a tea."

"It's not necessary, really." Arizona was washing her face and Callie left the room.

Arizona felt really tired, so she closed her eyes as she leaned into the couch cushions as she waited for Callie to bring her the hot beverage that Callie hoped would help settle Arizona's stomach. She didn't notice Callie as she stood over her and watched her rest, a worried expression on her face. Callie put the cup over the table and knelt in front Arizona, touching her knee.

"Are you sure you're feeling better?" When Callie spoke, Arizona opened her eyes.

"Yes. Don't worry." She started to drink the tea.

"I'm feel guilty, now. I'm sure the food was right..."

"Callie, dinner was awesome. It definitely wasn't the food. I feel terrible about all of this..." Arizona smiled weakly.

"So, if it wasn't the food, why did you - "

"It's my head." Callie looked at her, trying to understand. "Sometimes, when it hurts, this happens." Arizona explained. "I hate that it was today, here... and the meal was delicious, and now - "

"Arizona, we'll go the hospital" Callie said, looking for her keys. "I'll bundle up Sofia and we can go." Callie was terrified for Arizona's health.

Arizona saw the panic in Callie's eyes. "Callie, calm down, hey.. I'm fine, I'm used to this..." Arizona stood and took Callie's trembling hand in hers. "I'm just tired, that's all... maybe my blood pressure was higher than normal, it's usual..."

"Are you sure?" She asked softly, trying to breath normally.

Arizona smiled. "I'm sure, I'll be fine. Today was a crazy day."

"But you had the day off today."

"Yes, but they paged me and I ended up having to do three surgeries. One of them was a hypoplastic heart. I'm sure this is all a delayed reaction to a stressful day." Arizona sighed.

"How did the surgeries go? Callie was afraid to ask. She remembered how the results of unsuccessful surgeries affected Arizona.

"They were really good." She said proudly.

"You are amazing." Callie's tone was full of love.

"Thank you, although, right now, I'm a mess..." Arizona smiled sadly.

"Come here." Callie pointed to the couch. Arizona frowned. "Here, sit down. I'll make feel you better."

"What are you doing?" Arizona asked when Callie took of her hair on her shoulders and she sat behind her on the couch, both looking towards the door.

"You'll see." Callie started to carefully massage Arizona's neck and shoulders.

"Don't, please Callie, you don't need to... It's better that I go." Arizona wanted to stand up, but Callie didn't allowed her.

"What?, No way Arizona, you can't leave like this." Callie put pressure on Arizona's shoulder and, Arizona sat again.

"I'll take a cab." Arizona insisted.

"I said no. Now, please, just relax." Callie was trying to massage Arizona, but she didn't stay still.

"Callie, I'm serious. I've ruined the night, just let me go, please." Arizona was embarrassed.

Callie spun around at Arizona and looked into her eyes. "This was the best night I had in years, so please, stop to say that you have ruined it, do you hear me? Because I don't want to hear it. Do you know what I want?" Callie waited a second and then she continued when she saw that Arizona was listening to her, "I want you feel better, I - "

"I'll will, I just need -" Arizona interrupted, but, Callie stopped her.

"You need to shut up. That's what you need... and more important, you need to trust to me... I will not let you go like this, ok?" Arizona nodded. "So, Can I now start, please?"

Without say anything, Arizona turned around and Callie put her hands on her shoulders.

"I do." Arizona said softly.

"What?"

"Trust you." Arizona answered.

"Ok." Callie smiled as she continued the massage.

"God, you have magic hands..."

Callie laughed. "Are you feeling better?"

"Absolutely. Where have you been all these years?"

Arizona's innocent question was like a dagger through Callie's heart. "I'm sorry. I'm really sorry." Callie said with a knot on her throat.

Arizona didn't notice that emotion in Callie's answer. She was slowly falling sleep. When Callie realized this, she pulled Arizona towards her. She could feel Arizona's weight against her chest. It was wonderful. Callie closer her eyes tightly and tears rolled down her cheeks.

"I've got you baby. I've got you now. I'm sorry" She whispered in Arizona's ear. "I'll never let you go again, I promise."

Arizona smiled in her sleep, as if she could understand what Callie was saying. Maybe, in dreams, Arizona was her Arizona. Still, Callie knew that Arizona would likely wake up soon, so she should let her go.

Of course, she wanted Arizona to feels better, but a small part of her was selfishly glad for the chance to hold the woman she loved. In this moment she wanted nothing more than to stop time and hug Arizona all night.

############

The next morning, things were quiet at the hospital. Most of the time surgeons didn't like things to be too quiet, but today, Arizona was grateful for the slower pace.

She couldn't stop thinking about last night. As badly as she felt about ruining her evening with Callie, when she fell asleep with the other woman, she felt really, really good. She was filled with doubt. Callie had incredible power over her, and she needed to find out why.

"Ok, who is he?" Arizona asked Teddy, who was texting while they were having lunch.

"What?" Teddy replied. She was lost in her own thoughts and barely heard Arizona.

"I've been trying to talk to you for the last fifteen minutes, and you can't stop looking at your cell phone and smiling like a teenager. So who is he?" When Teddy didn't answer she continued. "It's a doctor, right?, You met him at the conference?"

Teddy was at a medical conference last week. "Why do you think that I'm talking with a man?" Teddy asked, laughing.

"Really? Have you seen your face?" Arizona teased.

"Henry. His name is Henry."

"I knew it! What's his specialty?"

"I won't tell you" Teddy kept texting without looking at Arizona.

"Ok... I'll guess." Arizona was curious, and would persist until Teddy told her. "Is he a pediatric surgeon?"

Teddy laughed. "Yeah... if I wanted to date someone who thinks that going to the movie means seeing any Disney film, I would date with you. So no, thank you."

"Come on, you love that kind of movie, too." Teddy, looked up and frowned.

"Liar". Arizona was playing with her food. "I think that someone in Peds would be great."

"No, he is not"

"Oncologist" Arizona kept trying.

"I won't tell you." Teddy tried to change the subject. "What have you been doing this past week?"

"Oh, no. Come on Teddy, just tell me about him." Arizona pointed to Teddy's phone."

"Did you miss me?" Teddy teased.

"Cardio, right?" Arizona pretended not to hear Teddy.

"God, you won't stop, right?" Teddy sighed and Arizona shook her head smiling. "It's our patient."

"Excuse me? I think I've heard wrong."

""I've said that he's our patient."

"Whoa, are you insane?" Arizona asked, almost yelling.

"Why?, We're just talking, that's it... "

"Maybe I've lost my memory, but I'm pretty sure that in med school they teach us not get involve with patients, don't they?" Arizona said, looking at Teddy seriously.

"I'm not doing anything wrong. We're just talking. He's nice, and funny, and smart, and - "

"You're his doctor and he is dying and - "

"You could be dying and I'm still your friend." Teddy retorted. She instantly regretted her words. "Arizona, I'm so sorry, really."

"It's Ok, you're right, anyway." Arizona responded, looking away.

"Please, I'm an idiot. I shouldn't have said that." Teddy felt awful.

Arizona smiled weakly. "Teddy, really, it's no big deal." Teddy sighed.

"Zona!" Arizona recognized the voice easily. Sofia was running towards them.

"Hey! Baby." Arizona picked up Sofia and pulled her on to her lap.

"Hi." Callie said, approaching the table and sitting down to join them. She looked at Arizona´s meal. "Arizona, what the hell is this?"

Arizona raised her eyebrows. "Mmm, it's my lunch?"

"How many times do I need to tell you not to eat this crap? Especially when you haven't been feeling well lately." Callie took the plate as Arizona and Teddy watched her. "Fortunately, I've brought you this." Callie offered Arizona a bag.

"What is this?" Arizona opened it. "Is this what I think it is?" Arizona asked smiling and Callie nodded.

"Sofia, your mom it's the best" Arizona said kissing Sofia's head and she laughed. "Thank you, Callie."

"I thought that since the dinner didn't finish well, maybe you would like to eat this, and I'm glad now, because you shouldn't be eating that, really, Arizona."

"You are awesome. You didn't need to do that." Arizona smiled at her.

"I'm just worried." she answered concerned.

"Wait, can someone tell me what you're talking about? And why I don't have a bag too?" Teddy asked, glancing at Callie and Arizona.

"Mommy says that Zona needs healthy food because she's sick." Sofia answered. "Mommy, we don't have food for Aunt Teddy?"

"No, sweetie, I thought she was in L.A" Callie explained to Sofia.

"Don't worry Aunt Teddy, the next time we'll bring food you too, right mommy?"

"Yes, baby. I'm sorry Teddy." Callie said almost laughing.

"God, you are so sweet." Arizona said hugging Sofia tightly

"How was the Conference?" Callie asked at Teddy.

Teddy couldn't help but smile. "Great, thank you."

"Don't ask." Arizona told Callie, who frowned.

"Ok..." Callie looked at Teddy.

"Don't listen to her." Teddy hit Arizona's arm.

Callie glanced her watch. "Sofia, baby, say bye. I need to get you to daycare."

Sofia didn't want to leave, but she obeyed.

"Bye, Aunt Teddy, bye Zona. Will you come to dinner tonight?"

Arizona laughed. "No sweetie, not tonight. Maybe another day, ok?"

"Ok." Sofia kissed Arizona's cheek.

Callie stood and held Arizona's shoulder. "Are you feeling better?"

"I'm fine." Arizona looked deeply into Callie's eyes.

"Really?" Callie asked, concerned.

Arizona couldn't help but take Callie's hand. "Really."

"Don't work so too hard, ok?"

Arizona smiled, "I won't, I promise." Callie smiled back and left the cafeteria.

"What was that?"

Arizona heard Teddy's question. "What are you talking about?"

"You and Callie, you can't stop staring at her." Teddy was right, Arizona watched intently as Callie walked away.

"I'm looking at Sofia." Arizona answered uneasily.

"Yeah... right..." Teddy teased. A few seconds later, Teddy continued. "Since when aren't you feeling well?"

"A couple days ago"

"Why you didn't tell me?" Since Arizona became ill, Teddy was always alert for Arizona's health.

"You were in L.A. and I'm fine now," she answered indifferently.

"But you - "

Arizona stopped at she sharply. "I've said I'm fine, Ok?"

"Ok." Teddy didn't want to upset Arizona. Teddy stole a bit of Arizona's food.

"Hey!, don't touch."

"This is fantastic." Teddy was enjoying the bite.

"I know, right?, Callie is an amazing cook."

"It's not fair She's my friend as well. She should bring me some of this too." Arizona shrugged her shoulders.

"Teddy, do you know me well, right? I mean, we were friends before the tumor.."

"Yes..." Teddy was trying to guess where the conversation was going.

"Did you know any of the people I dated?" Arizona was afraid to know the answer, but, at the same time, she wanted to know.

"Well, yes... Arizona, what's matter? You never ask about your past. Is everything ok?" Teddy was concerned.

"Yes, I guess..."

"Do you want to know anything else?" Teddy knew that Arizona wanted to ask something, but she wasn't ready to do so.

"No." she answered quickly.

"Ok." Teddy didn't push. She knew that when Arizona was ready, she'd ask, and she sensed it would be soon.

"Did I liked women? Was I gay?" Arizona suddenly blurted out.

When Teddy opened her mouth to answer, Arizona stopped at her. "No, don't answer. It's ridiculous."

"Arizona..." Teddy felt sad for Arizona, she was fighting inside. "It's about Callie, right?"

"No. It's just, that... When I'm with her I feel different... I don't know... It's weird... It's... It's . Nevermind."

Teddy smiled sadly. "Look, I think that you don't need that I tell you if you are or were gay or straight. You need to feel, that's all. If you like Callie - and come on, Arizona, I know she likes you - go ahead... don't be afraid."

"I'm not sure I'm ready for that... all these years I've never allowed myself to think about a relationship because I don't know how long I - "

Teddy doesn't like the way that Arizona was talking. "How long, what?, You don't know, I don't know, nobody knows, Arizona. Maybe it's time to decide, you can spend your life just waiting, or you can live your life, it's your choice. I hope you choose well. I really do"

Arizona sighed. "I don't want anybody suffering with me in the end... It's not fair." Arizona looked down.

"Do you know what it's not fair? That you make all the decisions for the people around you. You shouldn't do that. Let the others make up their own mind what they can handle. If you're attracted to Callie, be honest with her about the tumor, tell her how you feel and let her decide what she can handle. We don't even know for sure if this tumor is incurable."

"Adam said the same." Arizona told softly.

"Well, you know I don't like him, but he is right. Why did he tell you that?" Teddy was curious.

After a seconds Arizona answered. "He want something more than friendship."

"Whoah, What?"

"Teddy, you didn't hear me, did you? I've told you about that." Arizona replied, annoyed.

"Sorry, I didn't. What did you tell him?"

"Nothing. I couldn't say anything. I don't know... He is nice, and - I don't know." Arizona knew Adam several years ago, first as a doctor, and then they became friends.

"Arizona, just listen to your heart, ok? I know it's a cliche, but it's true." Arizona nodded.

################

The rest of the day, Arizona thought about her conversation with Teddy. Maybe Teddy was right, she needed to figure out what she was feeling. She knew what to do. She decided she needed to talk to Callie. She texted her to see if she was still at the hospital. She responded with a yes, so Arizona headed to meet her.

Arizona was scared. What would she tell Callie? She didn't wasn't ready for a date yet. She needed to get more clear on how she felt about Callie before she could think about the possibility of going on a date with the other doctor.

"Arizona, are you alright?" Callie asked, concerned. Callie was waiting for Arizona in the hall.

"Yes, I am. You?" Arizona answered.

Callie glanced at her confused. "Yes, I'm fine, why I wouldn't?"

"Nothing." Arizona smiled nervously. "I wanted to ask you something."

"Ok."

"I - I wanted to as-"

"Here you are." Both women heard.

"Adam." Arizona sighed.

"I'd like to take you to dinner. What do you say?" Adam asked, ignoring Callie.

"Arizona, what do you want to know?" Callie told seeing that Arizona was uncomfortable.

"Arizona?" Adam insisted.

"I - Nevermind. It's nonsense."

"So, we can go now. Good night, Dr. Torres." Adam took Arizona's arm, but Callie did the same with the other arm.

"Arizona?" Callie hated that Adam put his hands on Arizona.

"It was nothing, Callie. I'll see you tomorrow. Have a good night." Arizona smiled weakly.

"Can I call you later? To know how are you feeling." Callie asked hesitantly.

"I'm fine, but you can call me whenever you want."

"Dr. Torres, Arizona is with me, she'll be fine."

Arizona felt the urge to support at Callie in front of Adam. "I'll call you when I get home, ok?" Arizona didn't notice, but she was holding a Callie's hand.

"It's perfect." Callie looked down, and squeezed Arizona's hand. "We'll talk later."

Arizona nodded and left the Hospital with Adam. Still, she couldn't stop thinking about Callie. Her heart and mind were consumed by the other woman, and she desperately wanted to make sense of her feelings.
