Here we are, the final chapter, wish I could have wrote more but hey… Anyways, let's finish this! Here we go!

Now it was time for the third trimester. It won't be long now before the pup is ready to tackle life. Wolf was in his study, as he decided to work on his book once more. He looked over his desk to see the little blue pajamas and the framed ultrasound were lying next to his computer. He smiled a little as he picked up the photo. He decided to take a break from working on his book to check up on his wife.

For Diane, it felt like an even heavier heater was strapped on to her stomach now. She wasn't feeling too good despite Shark going out of his way to make her as relaxed as possible with food, massages and media that was both calming and positive. Wolf entered the room to see his wife being pampered by his friend when Wolf noticed the look on her face, which said she was still a little uncomfortable, this gave Wolf an idea.

"Hey Shark." Wolf said, getting his attention.

"Yeah?" Shark replied.

"You can go, I got it from here." Wolf said.

"Thanks man." Shark replied as he got up and walked past Wolf and opened a nearby door.

"Hey Piranha! Guess who's ready to kick your butt in foosball!" Shark shouted as he made his way down to the house's rec room. Wolf chuckled before he took a seat by Diane's side.

"Hey Diane…" He smiled to his wife who glared at him. "Are you okay?"

"Okay? Okay? I'm carrying a bowling ball in my stomach! Do I look okay?" Diane shouted.

"I guess that was a dumb question…" Wolf said.

"But it's fine. It's only a few more weeks…" Diane said.

Wolf looked at his wife, realizing that she could use some fresh air.

"Why don't we go somewhere nice?" Wolf asked.

Diane's ears lifted upwards in surprise.

"You sure? I don't think I'm in any condition to—" Diane replied.

"Nonsense. You could use a good time." Wolf cut her off as he extended his paw out to her. "What do you say, Mrs. Wolf?"

Diane looked down at his hand and then smiled. Calling Diane 'Mrs. Wolf' always seems to get her where smoldering fails.

"I'd be delighted." She answered.

The Lupine and Vulpine would eventually drive to a nice looking park. Wolf had his normal white suit attire while Diane was wearing a blue maternity dress with small white stars printed on it. They placed the car in the parking lot in front of the park but before they got out of the car, Diane clutched her stomach with both paws as she felt a sharp pain.

"Are you okay?" Wolf asked with great concern.

"Yeah. I'm fine." Diane assured. "The baby's probably moving around again… he's so aggressive."

Wolf looked a little nervous but decided to trust Diane on this. Wolf eventually escorted Diane out of the car and into the middle of the park. The wolf and the fox made it to a nearby bench before Wolf noticed an ice cream vendor nearby and left to get them each a cone and told Diane to sit down and wait. When he had already left and she had already sat down, Diane heard what sounded like rainfall.

"Oh no…" Diane said.

"Oh no, what?" Wolf asked returning his two cone in his hands.

"Wolf, don't panic but…"

"But?"

"My water broke and I think I'm going into labor."

"Oh, okay. That's nice…" Wolf then did a double take. "What?" He flatly added.

"Yep, pretty sure I'm going to have the baby real soon!" Diane said before she let out a painful grunt.

"I-I thought we had another few weeks!" Wolf asked.

"I guess like his father, he messed it all up at the home stretch." Diane said before she can fell the contractions starting. "We have to go now! I am NOT giving birth in the middle of a park!" Diane shouted.

"Okay. Calm down, we'll get to the hospital." Wolf assured his wife. "We need an ambulance!"

"There's no time!" Diane shouted in pain.

"Wait, you want me to drive you there?" Asked Wolf.

"No, I was thinking we'd take a brisk walk to a hospital that's on the other side of the city!" Diane sarcastically said.

"Okay, okay…" Wolf apologetically answered.

"Wait!" Diane shouted.

"What?" Wolf asked.

"Gimme those cones first, I'm not letting perfectly good milk and sugar go to waste!"

"Okay…"

Wolf handed Diane both cones as she practically inhaled them both. Wolf then hastily escorted Diane back to the car and placed her in the passenger seat as he put on her seatbelt for her. Wolf then entered the driver seat, put on his seatbelt on and immediately accelerated beyond the speed limit, failing a spot check as Luggins was in a police car just a few feet away as if it were some bizarre coincidence she had been there.

"Wolf… Back at it again, I see!" Luggins laughed as she drove off in pursuit, siren blazing.

Wolf had been driving like crazy, trying to find the nearest hospital. He checked his phone for directions. While driving, he noticed a large stairway and it gave him an idea. An idea he didn't like but seeing his wife in so much pain, left him with no other option.

"Diane…" He said.

"What?" She replied in between breaths.

"I have good news and bad news. Good news is, I have an idea on how to get to the hospital faster!"

"The bad news?"

"It's a stupid idea."

Wolf took the stairway down, just like with Snake's birthday only they had on seatbelts before doing this, so they didn't go flying. They both let out a frightful scream but were able to land safely. Once they did, Diane punched Wolf in the harm as hard as she could, Wolf knew for sure that it would at least cause a hairline fracture.

"Yeah, I guess I deserved that…" Wolf said.

Wolf had frantically looked over for the hospital until he found one, completely unaware that Luggins had been following him all the way from the park to the hospital. Just before Luggins could exit her vehicle and arrest him however, Wolf haphazardly got out his car first and rushed over to the passenger side, gently but quickly getting a heavily pregnant Diane out as Luggins heard Wolf saying things like 'Keep calm Diane, remember your breathing exercises…' Luggins knew about the baby much like everyone else in L.A. and despite hating Wolf's guts, she knew that he had to be there for his family.

"I guess I have no choice but to let him off with a warning this time..." Luggins said before angrily hitting her steering wheel out of disappointment and then drove off.

Once they arrived, Diane was placed in a wheelchair and they made their way to the reception desk.

"Name please…" the receptionist asked.

"I'm Governor Diane Foxington Wolf and this is Wolf, my jerk husband who did this to me!" Diane said as another contraction hit.

"Love you too, honey." Wolf sarcastically answered.

"I'm in labor and I REALLY need a doctor right now!" She shouted.

"Take a seat, the doctor will be with you momentarily." The receptionist said.

It was about a few minutes before the doctor came in and he couldn't have come sooner, since Diane started clutching her large stomach even tighter. She had never known pain like this.

"It's like a drill is coming out of me!" She shouted.

"Relax Governor, we got you." The doctor assured as his nurse came in to wheel the fox into the delivery room.

"Do you mind staying out here while we the prep the patient and we'll come get you when we're ready?" The doctor asked Wolf.

"Sure thing." Wolf said as he tried to keep his cool together. Inside, he desperately wanted to be by his wife's side right now but knew it was best to not cause a scene. Once the doctor wheeled Diane away, Wolf's phone started to ring. He looked to see that Piranha was calling as he answered the phone.

"Hey hermano, how's the date?" Piranha asked.

"Cut short, Diane's having the pup right now. We're at the hospital and..."

The phone beeped, ending the call.

"Hello?" Wolf asked.

Back at the house, Piranha ran off in complete panic while he screamed. Everyone else looked at him to wonder what was going on with him.

"The frick?!" Snake shouted.

"Piranha? You okay?" Shark asked as he grabbed his little green friend.

"What happened?" Tarantula asked.

"YURGIDDAFURDARATAARA!" Piranha shouted as he ran out of Shark's hands but Shark quickly grabbed him once more.

"Calm it down, buddy. Just relax and tell us what's up and we'll handle this in a calm and rational manor." Shark said.

"And think before you say each word this time." Webs said.

Piranha took a deep breath before getting his thoughts together.

"Wolf told me that Diane is having the cachorro right now." Piranha told them.

Everyone was silent for a moment before Shark and Tarantula panicked.

"OKAY EVERYONE, THE STORK IS COMING! THIS AIN'T A DRILL!" Shark shouted frantically.

"We need to go, now!" Tarantula said.

"Hold on, I need my special shirt first!" Shark said before he ran to his room and rummaged through his large closet until he found what he was looking for, a red shirt and on it read the word "Funcle," in big white font.

"Okay let's go!" Shark said before he looked at Snake. "Hey wait, where's your '#1 Grandpa' shirt?" Shark asked.

"I burned it." Snake flatly answered.

Shark just rolled his eyes and grabbed Snake.

"So anyone know what hospital they're at?" Piranha asked.

Shark completely froze in his tracks.

"You were the one that called! Why didn't you ask?" Shark questioned.

"I panicked, okay?" Piranha said.

"Relax, I've tracked Wolf's phone and it says he's at the hospital that's about an hour and three minutes away from here." Webs informed everybody while looking at her laptop.

"How are we going to get there without a car though?" Shark asked.

"Relax guys, I have an idea!" Webs answered.

It was about an hour when the others showed up at the waiting room and saw their friend sitting in one of the chairs.

"Guys! You made it!" Wolf happily said as he got up from his seat and hugged his crew.

"Are you kidding? We wouldn't miss this for the world, man!" Shark said.

"How did you guys even get here?" Wolf asked, breaking the group hug.

Shark smirked as he lifted a familiar looking briefcase.

"Took your wife's ride." Shark answered.

Wolf chuckled, remembering that Diane had her Crimson Paw lair moved to the beach house. Still had zero idea how she did it but she did it. He looked down and noticed that Piranha was sweating and completely out of breath.

"Hospital… so far…away!" Piranha said in between breaths.

"Then why is Piranha sweating?" Wolf asked once more.

"He got impatient and ran off when we were about 3 miles away from here." Tarantula answered.

"Well, I'm glad you guys are here! I could use a boost right about now." Wolf said.

"Anytime buddy…" Snake replied.

A nurse walked in.

"Mr. Wolf?" She asked.

The entire crew turned around to face the woman.

"Yes?" Wolf answered her.

"We're ready to start." She said.

Wolf turned to face his crew as Snake slithered over and place his tail on Wolf's shoulder.

"Go ahead Wolf, be there for your kid." Snake told Wolf with a reassuring smile.

Wolf gave a reassuring smile back before he walked towards the nurse.

"You got this buddy!" Shark told him.

"Come on hermano, be a padré!" Piranha cheered.

"Get in there already!" Tarantula playfully commanded.

Wolf took a deep breath as he continued to walk over to the nurse, knowing the next time he'll see his friends, will be with his kid. Once Wolf entered the room, he made it to Diane's bedside. He took off his white blazer, placed it on his chair and rolled up his sleeves.

"You okay, Diane?" Wolf asked.

"No. I am absolutely terrified…" Diane swallowed.

Wolf looked into her eyes, as if he was trying to calm her down.

"You and me both…" Wolf assuringly smiled as he held her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.

"Everything's going to be fine, Governor." The doctor assured before crouching to where the pup was coming. "Now, when I say 'go' you push with all your might, understand?"

Diane looked over at wolf as he looked back at her, they both nodded at each other. Diane turned her head and nodded at the doctor.

"Okay then.." the doctor said. "Go!"

Diane did just as she was told, the pain growing larger and larger, all while Wolf tried to assure her that everything is going fine.

"You can do this Diane! You got this!" Wolf encouraged before Diane let out a deep moan of pain.

"Oh god, this hurts worse than when that Yakuza boss threw all those shurikens into my arm for stealing his golden katanas!" Diane shouted.

"What?" The doctor asked.

"Nothing! She's just rambling from all the pain!" Wolf quickly answered. Things got so intense during this part, that neither Wolf nor Diane could remember what happened, but Wolf could've sworn she bit his arm at some point.

"Okay Governor, I need you to give me one, last BIG push and we'll be done!" The doctor said.

Diane then took a deep breath as she gave this next push with every ounce of strength she had left in her body. Gritting her teeth before letting out a painful scream, which caused Wolf to scream as well between that and how tight she was holding his hand. As that was going on, the rest of the crew were in the waiting room hearing those noises.

"Oh my." Shark said a little horrified by the noise. Piranha went completely pale and fainted. Webs was startled, looking up from her phone. Snake absent-mindedly stuck his tongue out for a moment but quickly put it back in and made a face like he tasted something horrendous.

"That tastes even worse than what they did together all those months ago!" Snake said.

Wolf and Diane kept going until they were met with complete silence. A silence that only lasted for a short moment before they heard what broke it.

A tiny but strong wail…

The doctor held a little brown, wet ball of fur in his hands.

"Congratulations, you have just given birth to a healthy male…" The doctor examined the pup to figure out what exactly to refer to him as.

"…Wolfox, I guess?" The doctor shrugged.

Diane's head fell back onto her pillow as she let out a sigh of blissful relief. Wolf let go of Diane's hand as he flexed it to make sure it wasn't broken and looked at his arm for teethmarks. Diane then got to take a good look at her son being dried off by the nurse, who passed the child to the doctor, who handed over the pup to Diane, who accepted him. She smiled as she looked at her baby, wrapped in a blue blanket that made him look like a little matryoshka doll. She saw that the pup was completely brown but his muzzle was a very light tan, much like his father. However, his pink nose was definitely from his mother. Diane chuckled as she got a good look at her baby.

"Hey kid, do you know who I am? I'm your mommy!" Diane told the pup. "And the big brown guy massaging his paw, is your daddy."

The pup opened his eyes, revealing how his scleras were yellow like his father's, but the irises were green like his mother's. She looked over at Wolf, who was still tending to his aching paw.

"Would you like to hold him, Wolf?" Diane asked, getting Wolf's attention.

Wolf was at a loss for words. He didn't know what to say so he just instinctively reached his open hands out towards her.

"He looks just like you…" Diane gently said as she handed the bundle over to Wolf.

Wolf was amazed by this little bundle as a small fuzzy face tried to free itself from it's swaddled prison and succeeded, revealing his large brown fox ears and looked at his father. Wolf brought the child close to his face. Wolf was in udder disbelief over what was transpiring right now, he has a son. This is when it hit him, he was holding the pup of the Big Bad Wolf and The Crimson Paw, two of the greatest criminal masterminds there is. No, he was holding the pup of Moe Wolf and Governor Diane Foxington-Wolf, their pup. Wolf was a serious mess over this, he couldn't help but to cry as his tail wagged ferociously, the only other times it wagged this hard was that first time when he realized that good felt good and when he saw Diane walked down the aisle. His tears started to stain his fur.

"Moe…" Diane said, breaking her husband's concentration.

Wolf looked up. She rarely called him by his real name, he recalled at least three other times she referred to him since he told her about it.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah… I'm fine…" he answered. "Just…need time to process the fact that we actually have a pup!" Wolf said with a twinge of tremble in his voice.

"Yeah, I guess that is a lot to take in…" Diane started realizing how much it hit her that she now has a child.

"Hey buddy, remember my voice? It's me, your daddy." Wolf told him.

He then extended his index finger towards the pup as the little one wriggled a little, trying to free his little paw from his fabric encasement. The pup succeeded and curled his tiny fingers around his father's massive one. Wolf felt his heart sink when this happened, and Wolf felt it was time to give his son some fatherly advice.

"Listen, Kid. I haven't been a dad for very long, to be fair though, you haven't been a son for very long either. I didn't really have a dad growing up, so I might mess up, but I want you to know that I will try my best with you and that I will always protect you, whether a fall from the swing set breaks your arm or a pretty girl breaks your heart. And there's one thing… one REALLY important thing I want to tell you... Things will get rough for you when you get older. You're both a wolf and a fox, there will be people who will disrespect you and treat you like a monster. I want you to know that you shouldn't care about what the world thinks of you. You are so much more than what they say you are. Lucky for you, you were born to a wonderful family that knows exactly how to get you through those hard times."

He kissed his son on the forehead, this resulted in his son laughing, Wolf could feel his heart burst with rainbows of joy and pride. He wanted his son to stay in his arms forever. Diane smiled as she looked at the scene in front of her. The doctor then walks over to Wolf.

"Sir, the nurse needs to take the—" he said reaching for the baby before Wolf turned away from the man.

"No." Wolf cut him off before holding his child even closer to his muzzle his tail still wagging.

It was about an hour later when the rest of the crew were still hanging around the waiting room until Piranha noticed something.

"Guys! I think they just wheeled in the new babies!" Piranha said.

"Really?" Shark asked.

"I think so." Piranha answered.

"Then let's go!" Webs said.

They rushed over to the nursery's viewing window which was right next to the waiting room.

"Which one is ours? Which one is ours?" Piranha excitingly asked.

"I'm gonna take a wild guess and say…the only one with fur." Webs said pointing to what appeared to be the only crib with a swaddled puppy in a sea of swaddled human babies.

"Wow! There are very few animal kids born today aren't there?" Shark asked.

As the four continued admiring the newborn, a nurse comes in and wheels the baby out the room.

"What are they doing?" Asked Piranha, enraged at the woman who took away his sorbrino.

"Relax, they're just taking him back to his parents." Shark calmed Piranha. Shark truly was the go-to baby expert.

"Wait…that means…" Webs added.

"FOLLOW THAT NURSE!" Shouted Piranha as the four made their way to pursuit the nurse to the room.

Back with Wolf and Diane, the two were having a moment together as they now had a moment of peace.

"So… how's it feel? Not having to carry a bowling ball in your stomach anymore?"

"I feel amazing, I can't wait to pick things up from the floor without fear of breaking my spine again.." Diane said.

"I bet." Wolf said.

"How does Shark do it?" She asked.

"Do what?" Wolf asked.

"How's he able to carry all that weight?" Diane asked

"Beats me." Wolf chuckled.

They were silent for a moment.

"Diane…"Wolf told her as he grabbed her hand and held it tightly. "…I love you, so much."

She smiled.

"I love you just as much." Diane squeezed his hand back.

He smiled.

The nurse entered the room, quickly tailed behind by the crew.

"It appears you have visitors…" said the nurse as she jerked her thumb behind her.

"Hey guys!" Piranha said.

The nurse handed the pup over to Diane.

"Congratulations again, Governor." The nurse told her.

"Thank you." Diane said.

Wolf looked over at his crew.

"You guys, ready?" He asked them.

"Oh absolutely!" Shark said.

"I was born ready!" Piranha said.

Webs gave a thumbs up.

"Let's get this over with." Snake said.

"Alright, let's go meet the rest of your crazy family. You're going to love them." Wolf told his son as he took him from Diane's arms and walked over to his crew.

"Everyone, say hello to our newest crew member…" Wolf said before looking over at his wife, who nodded. "Moe Wolf Jr."

Everyone gasped with joy.

"Can we hold him now?" Shark asked.

Wolf chuckled as he walked over to the group and presented the puppy to his closest friend.

"You wanna hold him first, buddy?" Wolf offered the puppy to Snake.

"I came all the way here so… sure, why not?" Snake shrugged.

"Alright then 'Grandpa Snake,' you get to go first then." Wolf said as he offered his child to him

"Don't call me that." Snake quickly interjected.

"Just remember to support his head and neck…" Wolf carefully warned him.

Wolf handed the baby over to Snake as he coiled his body to hold the pup as Snake's tail wagged once the child was placed safely in the serpent's care.

"Hey you little brat, I'm your…" Snake then let out an annoyed sigh. "Grandpa Snake…" he didn't want to say it, but he was basically the group's dad, so there was a sound logic to it.

"So, your Wolf's kid, huh? Let me give you a fair warning, your old man is kind of a chump. Don't worry, you got me, the coolest guy ever, to teach you how get ahead in life!"

The little wolf-fox hybrid opened his eyes once more and saw the serpent, as he extended his little paw out and placed it on Snakes's snout, which startled him. Looking directly into those innocent little emeralds surrounded by an ocean of gold and hearing the little guy giggle, made tears fall from Snake's eyes and felt his heart beat speed up, something he didn't think would be possible anymore.

"Whoa Snake, are you…are you crying?" Piranha asked.

"I'm not crying! YOU'RE crying!" Snake shouted through gritted teeth. "Someone please take this little parasite out of my non-existent hands!" He extended his tail outwards with the baby still coiled in it.

"Okay, I'll take him." Shark said before he gleefully took the baby into his arms.

Shark's fin wagged the moment he held the little brown pup.

"Hey kid, aren't you just the cutest puppy ever! I'm your Uncle Shark, but you can also call me 'Funcle Shark' if you want." He cooed before he quietly whispered into the baby's ear. "And I already know that I'm gonna be the favorite…"

Wolf Jr. only giggled, it made Shark's heart melt. Memories of when he held his younger siblings. He stopped seeing his family after becoming a bad guy but between going good and all the things he did for Diane during her pregnancy, he should really give them a call.

"You wanna hold him now, Piranha?" Wolf asked.

This caught Piranha completely off guard.

"What? Really? Me?" Piranha asked nervously.

"Yeah you, you're his 'tío,' remember?" Wolf said.

"O-o-okay, give him to me…" Piranha answered a little nervously.

Shark kneeled down as he handed the swaddled puppy over to Piranha, who had almost lost his balance once he felt the heft of the kid. Piranha's fin wagged once it was his turn but the moment the child was placed in his arms, he started trembling.

"H-Hola, C-Ca-Cachorro…" Piranha stuttered a little. "I'm your Tio Piranha."

Piranha was a little nervous around kids, he was basically the team baby up until now.

"L-Lo siento niño, I'm not usually this nervous…" he told the puppy.

He started sweating more, trembling over the weight of the child.

"This kid is heavy. Why is he so heavy? Are kids usually this heavy?" Piranha nervously asked, trying to keep himself from letting out one of his noxious farts whenever he gets nervous.

"Okay, I'll take him off your hands." Shark said before he tried to get the pup from his friend's arms but it was like trying to open a door with it's hinges rusted shut.

"Sorry…it's just…" Piranha apologized.

"I get you, it's fine." Shark said.

It took a bit, but Shark successfully got the pup out of Piranha's arms and handed him over to Tarantula, but not before Piranha quickly ran out of the room to let out his anxious-riddled toxic gasses from a safe distance away. Webs' abdomen wagged when it came for her turn to hold the baby. However, being how the newborn was at least twice her size, all Tarantula could do was place her fuzzy hand on the pup's cheek. It was soft, like a warm pillow that was freshly washed and dried with the best fabric softener there is.

"Hey kid… Guess you can call me Aunt Tara, or if you want, Auntie Webs. I'm pretty flexible with names." Tarantula gently said. "I'm gonna be honest, I'm a little disappointed you're not a girl, but I'm okay with that. What's one more guy to the group at this point?" She chuckled.

Little Wolf yawned shortly after and closed his eyes. Piranha would eventually return to the room as Wolf realized something.

"Let's take a picture." Wolf said, this got everyone excited. They haven't done any pictures in awhile.

Shark placed the pup back in Diane's arms as everyone huddled around the bed and Wolf grabbed his camera out.

"Alright, everyone say 'Robbery!'"

"Robbery!" Everyone shouted.

The flash went off and once the photo developed, it depicted Wolf, Diane, exhausted but happy with the smiling faces of the others and right in the middle was a tiny pup, sleeping. Wolf looks at all of them in the photo and thinks about how grateful he was, having the best family that he could ever ask for.

After about an hour, the crew made it home while Wolf and Diane stayed in the hospital. Wolf Jr. was wheeled away back into the nursery as it was just Wolf and Diane alone together.

"Crazy day, huh?" Wolf asked his vulpine wife.

"Yeah, real crazy." Diane answered her lupine husband.

They stayed silent for a moment.

"Guess Snake was right…" Wolf broke the silence.

"About what?"

"It's going to be nothing but Sesame Street and Disney Movies from here on out."

Diane only smiled at Wolf. She reached for his hand, which he gladly let her take.

"To be honest, that doesn't sound so bad right now."

Wolf smiled at Diane, he was no longer as scared as he was on that day she told him, all those months ago. They were both ready to start this next chapter of their lives after going good.

"Has anyone seen my wallet? I swear I had it about an hour ago!" Asked the Doctor frantically searching his pockets.

Diane looked at Wolf.

"Don't look at me. You know I haven't stolen a wallet since you proposed." Wolf pleaded defensively.

Meanwhile at the nursery, the lights were off as all the babies were sleeping soundly. However in Wolf Jr.'s crib, he was rummaging through the doctor's wallet until he found at least two-hundred dollars in cash and several credit cards and pocketed them all under his little cap before he laughed maliciously. The apple truly doesn't fall far from the tree.

—Six months later—

It was now nightfall as everyone was asleep, for at least 3 hours. Wolf and Diane heard the baby monitor go off and know that Little Wolf was crying again.

"I got him last time. You get it." Diane said.

Wolf got up from the bed completely exhausted as he went into his son's nursery and made his way to the crib which was right at the corner between the window and the "butt" heart painting. Wolf looked into the crib to find his son, who had on a pair of sheep jammies with the hood up, Wolf chuckled when Diane showed him those for the first time.

"You okay buddy?" Wolf asked.

His son still crying as he picked him up from the crib.

"All good? You hungry? Cranky? PLEASE tell me you don't need a change…" Wolf said as he sniffed his child, he thanked the forces above that he didn't smell anything bad. Figuring his son just needed to be rocked to sleep, Wolf placed him on his shoulder and gently bounced him before Wolf placed him back into his crib. Wolf noticed that he had stopped crying but was still sad.

"You gotta go to sleep kid." Wolf told him.

His son then pulled out the puppy eyes look. Wolf finally learned how it felt to be on the receiving end of that stick. Wolf sighed in defeat. Wolf Jr. then extended his little paws out as if he was reaching for something, but the only thing around was Wolf.

"You wanna spend the night with mommy and daddy? Don't you?" Wolf asked.

The pup reached out again, as if he was telling his father yes.

"Alright, let's go." Wolf said before he picked up his son and placed him in one arm before he grabbed a book titled 'RJ the Raccoon finds a friend' from the bookshelf above the dresser.

"Cause I know you can't go to sleep without a story…" Wolf said.

Wolf then noticed that something was still missing. He went back into the crib and got the plush wolf doll he got all those months ago.

"Can't forget Mr. Goodwolf, now can we?" Wolf smirked as he placed the doll in his son's arms.

Wolf made his way back to his bedroom with his wife, who was petting the cat.

"You're awake?" Wolf asked.

"Well, after months of getting up in the night every hour like clockwork, it starts to become a habit." She said.

Wolf smirked.

"I also wanted to get this." Diane said as she revealed the engagement ring that Wolf stole from her all that time ago.

"When did you—?" Wolf asked.

"You thought I forgot, huh?" Diane said as she placed the ring back on her finger.

"Never doubted you." Wolf chuckled.

Diane rolled her eyes as Wolf made it back to his bed, his wife, son and cat resting comfortably. He soon opened the book.

"Alright, if I remember correctly, we're at the part where the rain poured down…"

They heard a knock at the door.

"I'll get it." Diane assured her husband as she got out the bed.

Diane opened the door to see that Snake, Shark, Piranha and Webs were all awake as they look at them with innocent eyes.

"You guys wanna spend the night with us too?" Diane asked.

They all nodded.

"Come on in…" Wolf said.

All four enter the bedroom without hesitation.

"Comfy everyone?" Wolf asked his crew who all managed to squeeze perfectly onto the couple's bed.

"Comfy hun?" Wolf asked Diane who was snuggled against Wolf's arm.

"Comfy buddy?" Wolf asked his son as Wolf Jr. snuggled against his mother's bosom with Mr. Goodwolf held tightly in his arms and having the sleeping cat serve as his blanket.

"Alright, now where were we?" Wolf asked.

"You were at 'The rain poured down.'" Shark answered. Shark has heard the story before.

"Thanks Shark." Wolf said.

"Anytime." Shark replied.

Wolf adjusted himself before he started reading the book aloud.

"The rain poured from the sky as RJ the raccoon faced his wife's murderer in the dark, empty alleyway. 'Killing me won't bring her back!' shouted the assassin. 'Yeah…' said RJ in cold blood as he pulled out his gun and cocked it, aiming it at the bear. 'I know…' RJ added before he pulled the trigger!"

"Yeah! Get 'em RJ!" Piranha shouted as he held Tarantula in his arms, not even realizing he done so.

"Geez, this book is way darker than I thought it would be!" Said Tarantula.

"Where did you guys even find this book?" Diane asked.

"You know that guy who makes switchblades out of anything? He also writes kids books as a hobby and gave me that book for free!" Snake answered.

Wolf chuckled before he continued his story. In his mind, he was happy, happy to have found his crew, happy to have found his wife, happy to have a son. This little family of ex-thieves was happy and that was all they really needed.
