Chunks of rubble started floating around from Maou's telepathy. Slowly but surely, people managed to make their way into the disaster zone to rescue the others. Maou hid from the rescue team as workers lead Natsu and Emi out.

Emi glared at Satan as her own past flashed before her. "Are you okay?" She jumped back as Natsu reached out to her. She looked around and found herself outside the caved in mall. "What? Did your life flash before your eyes?"

"K-kinda." She confessed. "Wait, Maou?" Natsu turned to see the demon had transformed back into his human form, albeit with his clothing torn to shreds. "Why are you back in that craptastic form?"

"That was just uncalled for." He replied.

"He's got a point. I mean, he did just save everyone here." Natsu added.

"Mr. Maou..." Chiho whispered, catching their attention. "I-I wanna..."

"It's okay." Maou cut her off, patting her on the head. "I'm just glad you're okay."

"Kids, get away from there." An officer said before seeing Chiho. "Wait, you're Inspector Sasaki's daughter, right?"

"Yeah, that's my dad." She chuckled, catching Maou's attention. The officer walked away and she turned back to Maou. "Uh, Mr. Maou..."

"Don't worry. No girl wants to tell her father she was at a disaster area." He chuckled. "Especially because of a date."

"I'm sorry." She bowed in apology before he and Natsu walked away. "And Ms. Yusa, I should thank you as well."

"Inspector Sasaki from West Shinjuku Station..." Maou mumbled, catching Natsu's attention. "It's no coincidence, then. I'm the reason she's been hearing that voice. The magic I first used when I came here must have affected Chiho somehow."

"So, what now?" Emi asked.

"Could try eating in a bunch of underground cafe's and wait for one to fall on me." Maou chuckled, earning a smack on the head from Natsu.

"Be serious!" He demanded.

"It was just a joke." Satan said, walking away. "Besides, it's not like anything else is gonna happen tonight. Whoever did this will need to regroup now that their big attack has failed. So I'm going home."

"Attack?" Natsu asked in confusion. "Wait, that wasn't a natural thing?"

"Duh. You really think the three of us were almost killed at the same time by accident?" Maou asked back. "Someone set it up. Might have been a Sonar Pulse, magical interference, I don't really know. But what I do know is that all of our covers are blown."

"Then our enemy..."

"Could be standing next to us." He finished Emi's thought. "He probably got scared off when he sensed my magic returning to me."

"But who would want all three of us dead? And who could even produce that level of power where we can't even replenish our own power?" Emi asked.

"Emi..." Natsu tapped his 'sister's' shoulder and she turned to see him pointing.

"Rika?" She asked, looking at the waving girl.

"Huh, who would have thought you had friend in this world?" Maou chuckled.

"Like you can talk!" She spat back before she and Natsu walked over.

The human girl hugged Emi as Natsu stepped back just in time. "I was so worried! I'm so glad you're alive!"

"It's fine. I just got a little cut on my forehead." Emi chuckled. "We just need to sleep it off."

"Uh, Emi..." Natsu mumbled, searching his pockets. "Do you have your wallet on you?"

Emi gasped in shock and hung her head. "Everything but our phones is buried under the rubble... Everything."

"Take it!" Cash was suddenly shoved into their faces, scaring them a bit. "I don't wanna hear it! Once you two are checked out at the hospital, call me and I'll come pick you up!"

"Wait... a car...?" Natsu asked, a green tint on his face.

1 Hour Later

Rika's Apartment

"So your parents live abroad?" Rika asked as she made a quick meal.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that." Emi chuckled. "Sorry me and my brother are just crashing here."

"No problem." Her colleague chuckled. "I'm the one who dragged you two here." She stepped away from the stove with a tray of food and set it down on the table. "You guys didn't have dinner, did you?"

"Yeah, and I'm starving." Emi confessed.

"Then eat up." Rika declared.

Minutes later, Emi patted her stomach in happiness. "That was amazing."

"You're more than welcome." Her workmate chuckled. "With an appetite like that, I guess I shouldn't have to worry." Rika's phone began to ring before she pulled it out. "Hello? Yeah, I'm fine. The quake wasn't that close to me."

"Hey, I'm done." Natsu said as he stepped out, his hair still wet from the shower. "You're turn, Emi." He sniffed the air and a small bit of drool came out. "Oh, something smells good."

"Just don't eat her out of house and home, okay?" Emi chuckled as the two 'siblings' passed by.

Rika ended the call and found Natsu sitting down. "Guess she went to the shower." She picked up the tray and went back to the kitchen.

"So was that your mom?" Natsu asked.

"Yeah, you know how they are." Rika chuckled. "So why haven't you been around the office?"

Natsu turned the tv on and the news was talking about another purse snatching. "How have the cops not caught this guy yet?" He asked, taking a bit of the food.

"It's crazy, right?" Rika asked. "Good thing you and Emi have each other to keep each other safe. Not to mention Emi has that boyfriend she was talking to."

Natsu missed a bite and started choking, forcing him to punch his chest. "Sorry, you just surprised me." He confessed, taking a sip of water. "Trust me, that guy is NOT her boyfriend. Hell, they aren't even friends."

"Oh, give me the details." Rika said.

"No way!" Natsu declared, crossing his arms.

One Week Later

Yusa Apartment

"Natsu..." Emi called out, making the boy pause his game. "Remember what you said, about Maou actually staying here and we go home?"

"Yeah, why?" He asked, setting the controller down on the table.

"I think you might be right." She replied. "I think we should take him at his word and just leave."

"Are you serious?" Natsu asked in shock.

"Honestly, I don't know anymore." She replied with a sigh. "But with how he saved everyone, and how we don't know how long it will take to get you home... I think this might be what we had to do."

Maou's Apartment

Emi stared into the peephole with anger as the door cracked open. "What do you two want?" The demon king asked, only to see an envelope shoved in.

"Don't worry. It's not poison or anything." She declared.

"Why should I accept anything from you?" Maou asked.

"Dude, just take the money she owes you." Natsu said, exciting Maou into taking the envelope.

"This makes us even." Emi declared.

"Like hell it does." Maou retorted, poking his head out of the door. "Did you two forget about your promise to leave us alone?"

"Did you forget that we bailed you two of jail?" The Hero asked back.

"You still suck." Maou spat back.

"So how's Alciel?" Natsu asked. "He okay after that collapse?"

"Physically, he's fine." Maou answered. "But his psyche seems to have taken a toll. I told him about how I had gotten some of our power back, but he still beat himself up for not being able to do anything for his king. So he's taking the morning off to sleep in. What about you two? You able to recover any of your power? Didn't she use some of her power to put Chi asleep?"

"You did?" Natsu asked.

"Yeah, but that doesn't concern the likes of demons." Emi replied.

"Fine, then feel free to skedaddle." Maou said as he closed the door.

"My pleasure." She huffed as the two walked down the metal stairs. Natsu heard a small scream and turned around, only for Emi to fall into his face and the two stumbled to the ground, her knee right into Natsu's groin. "Ow..."

"I have never." Ashia complained as he wrapped them in bandages. "For the hero who very nearly killed King Satan, even in this weakened state to sustained so many injuries from falling down a simple flight of stairs? Let it never be said that he is cruel." He pulled out the medicine box and opened it. "Oh, we're only have bandages. Didn't we also have gauze?"

"Apparently not." Maou replied. "I know it's a pain, but could you go and get some. Medical tape too. I don't want to hear her complain about it."

"As you wish, sire. Might I borrow Dullahan for it?" The general asked.

"Permission granted." Maou answered before the general left. "Natsu, can you disinfect her wounds? I'm pretty sure if I try she'll punch me in the face."

"Fine." The pinkette male huffed before going to the box. "You ready?" He asked the Hero, walking back over with the tools needed.

"Just do it." She demanded before he rubbed it on her face, making her flinch.

"Stings?" Maou chuckled before dodging the bottle of disinfectant. "What the hell was that for?"

"Shut up!" Emi shouted, standinf up. "What are you doing? You're the devil! Why haven't you been acting like a demon at all!?" Maou glanced at Natsu and he shrugged in confusion. "You're poor, you cook, you're respected ar your job, charm your way into the hearts of high school girls! I've never heard of a devil so proud having some random teenage girl having a crush on them!"

"Wait, that part seemed a bit personal." Maou said.

"Because it was personal!" Emi shouted back, angering him.

"Well I've never heard of a hero so inept that she falls down the stairs, knees her partner in the groin, cries and then gets put back together by demons." He retorted.

"He's... got a point." Natsu mumbled.

"Who's side are you on!?" Emi shouted, glaring at Maou. "Why are you being so kind?" She asked, confusing the devil king as tears started building up in her eyes. "Why you being so nice to this world? If you have this capacity for kindness, then why didn't you show it when you killed my father!? The devil I know is cruel and wicked. He murders humans and squashes people under their feet.

"And death and destruction and sorrow and blood is the only thing that makes that him smile! You burned our fields with your fire, destroyed our castles with your lightning, swept away towns with your floods! You're the ruler of demons and you allow your minions any kind of brutality! I swear I will never forgive you! You destroyed everything I ever knew! I was happy and you ruined it!"

She collapsed to her knees and bawled into her hands. Natsu quickly went over and hugged her, letting her cry into his shoulder. "I... never gave it much thought." Maou confessed. "I'm sorry... back then, I never understood what humans were like."

Before she could say anything, the door opened and Chiho suddenly walked in. "Morning, Mr. Maou." All three turned to her and watched her drop a bag.

"Look who I found at the pharmacy." Alciel said, walking up from behind. "I asked her to come by and-"

"And I should really be going." She interrupted as tears started forming in her eyes. "You-you two really are a thing."

"Trust me, we are not a thing." Emi declared.

"I'm sorry!" Chiho quickly bowed before running away.

"Oh, that was bad." Emi sighed.

"A lovers quarrel." Ashiya screamed in shock as a large woman who wears copious amounts of makeup and lipstick suddenly appeared. She dresses heavily in thick fur jackets, and always carries a purse with her. Her clothing mainly consist of the color purple. Miki also tends to wear a fancy, purple feather hat, and a yellow necklace. "It seems the old flame is growing jealous. And then the new flame arrives just in time to see the old flame truthfully break things off with his ex."

She walked into the door way and looked at the two pinkettes. "I'm Miki Shiba, the landlady of this fine establishment. I take it your Mr. Maou's ex-girlfriend and her new toy she brought over to make him jealous."

"No, god no!" Emi shouted in anger.

"Honestly, I couldn't care about this." Miki replied. "I'm having some repairs done to this location. Here is my official notification." She handed Maou a paper with a big kiss on it. "What with all the wuakes and muggings going on. I wonder if something will happen today. Which reminds me, that girl who ran out of here seems to have headed for the train station."

Another quake suddenly shook the entire building. "Mr. Maou... Since you involved her, I assume you're prepared to take responsibility fo her."

"For what?" He asked.

"Don't tell me you haven't realized it yet." The landlady asked. "That girl has taken a direct sonar hit and received an Ideal Link transmission. An earthquake in this location is hardly a coincidence. Human beings have tremendous strength of will. If anyone should know that, it would be you four. I suggest planning a rescue before it's too late."

She turned and walked away from the confused quartet as another quake hit. A sudden explosion caught their attention and they raced towards the billowing cloud of smoke with a glowing figure above it. "It's him." Maou mumbled.

"Him who?" Emi asked.

"You're saying this is the guy behind the muggings?" Natsu asked.

"Obviously." The demon mumbled as he climbed up the rubble. "I knew it was you."

The other three raced up from behind and Emi stared in shock. "No, it can't be..."

"King Satan, long time no see." The winged man chuckled. "Oh, that's right. They call you Sado Maou from now on."

"Call me what ever you want." Maou said back. "Why are you here? Aren't you dead, Demon General Lucifer?"

"Lucifer?" Emi repeated in shock.

"I thought you said you killed him?" Natsu asked. "You did the whole 'Princess Bride' speech and everything!"

"Don't get me wrong, that hurt like hell." The black winged angel declared, tapping his chest. "But here I stand. Now how could that be?"

Natsu sniffed the air and held his nose in disgust. "Does it have anything to do with the guy who smells like incense hiding there?" He asked.

"Wow, you beat me to it." Maou chuckled as a hodded figure walked forward. "You might as well come out now, High Priest of the Tribunal Church, Olba Mayor."

"Olba?" Natsu and Emi asked in shock.

"When Emi came through the gate, you were the one behind her." Maou explained. "Once I heard that, I put two and two together. You and your crew are a shady bunch, but even I'll admit it; you're the shadiest."

"Congratulations, you found me." The man said, pulling his hood off to show a bald head. "And Emilia, I never pegged you to sleeping with a boy."

"Olba..." Emi mumbled in shock as tears started welling up. "Why... why are you with Lucifer?"

"You really wanna know?" The priest asked. "I'll tell ya, but it'll be-"

"You didn't want the hero to get all the glory for killing the demon lord." Maou interrupted. "She was already throwing her weight around within the church, and you couldn't stand that. So you figured after she killed me, you'd kill her. And you used Lucifer to kill off all her allies while trying to protect the privilege of the dignitaries by promising a golden ticket back to Heaven. Anything you wanna correct?"

"Seriously?" Natsu asked. "That's not even all that original. The Magic Council in my world have tried that twice on my guild, and it didn't work then either."

"How'd you know that!?" Olba asked.

"You're joking, right?" Maou asked back. "That's like the oldest trick in the demon handbook. Also, seriously 'The last thing you'll ever here'? I've seen B-Movies with better writing with that, baldie."

Emi chuckled and Natsu smirked as Olba stared in shock. "B-Baldie? And what is a B-movie?"

"Sire, am I to infer that you have been spending our money on movies again?" Ashiya asked, killing the mood.

"Fight now, talk later." The demon king countered.

"No, we talk about this now!" The general countered. "Do you know how much I have struggled with these menial tasks while you have been pampering yourself!? I've been working to the bone and haven't had as much as a morning off!"

"Wow, Maou. You could at least take him with you now and then." Natsu said.

"Thank you!" Alciel cheered.

"That's enough!" Olba shouted as a beam of purple energy punctured Natsu's shoulder, forcing him to hold it. "I've had it with you morons ignoring me!"

"You bastard!" Natsu growled out at Lucifer.

"That was fun, but it seems like I missed." The purple-haired angel chuckled as his finger smirked.

Emi went over to Natsu and clutched his wound, trying to stop the blood-flow. "Yo, hammy priest actor." Maou asked. "Tell me something, in order to preserve Lucifer's magical power, how many humans did you attack?"

The others stared in shock as Lucifer chuckled. "I'd expect no less from you, King Satan. You took noticed of even the smallest details."

"Emi, Natsu, where do you think the gods and demons of this country dwell?" Maou asked.

"Now isn't the time for that!" Emi shouted.

"In the hearts of humans." Maou explained, confusing the two. "The people here aren't governed by gods can easily tumble to either good or evil. The hearts of humans here contain hope and despair. They are the source of power in this world. If I had to guess, these two are the ones behind the recent muggings."

"Is that why you were able to regain your form in the mall?" Emi asked.

"I'm impressed." Lucifer chuckled. "But if you knew all of this, then why didn't you try drumming up some fear of your own?"

"I quite like it here." Maou replied. "Being a human is pretty interesting too. I don't want go that route, anyway. So, what'cha gonna do?"

Another beam of energy shot pass Maou and punctured Ashiya's heart. "Damn, Emi. This girl really doesn't like you." Lucifer chuckled as he pointed at Chiho in his arms.

"Ashiya, Ashiya!" Maou shouted as his servant closed his eyes.

"How could you!?" Natsu shouted in anger. "You were on the same side as him! He was your friend!"

"What's a friend compared to the glory of Heaven!?" Lucifer asked back as he took to the sky, summoning a magic seal. "Time for you all to die!"

Beams of energy shot at the group and Maou held out his hand, creating a magic shield around them. The explosions scared the crowd around them and the people ran for cover. "Lucifer." Olba glared at the young angel.

"Yeah, I know you're not supposed to play with your food, but I can't help it." The angel chuckled as he hung upside down. "This feeding on despair is just so much fun." The dust settled and the four were gone from the pile of rubble. "Looks like they ran away. Not like they'll be able to stop us."

"Damn it, I hate running from a fight." Natsu huffed as he held his shoulder as the trio ran for their lives. "And why do I have to carry this guy!?" He motioned to Ashiya on his back.

"Hey, you take care of Alciel!" Maou shouted back. "Besides, it's not like we had any other options. In case you haven't noticed, none of us have now near enough power to deal with him at the moment!"

A wing beat caught their attention as Lucifer flew over, a massive orb of power in his hands. "Where's all that confidence now?!" He threw his hands forward and the orb crashed into a building the trio ran passed. More energy shot forward and punctured Maou's shoulder.

"Damn it! Human bodies suck!" He cried out.

"Less talking, more running!" Natsu ordered before a bang echoed and he dropped to a knee. "The hell was that?"

The three looked up and saw Olba holding a smoking gun. "Sorry, but I need to save enough power to get myself home." He chuckled before shooting Maou in the knee as well. The people around them panicked and ran away.

"How the hell was this guy ever a big shot?" Lucifer asked as he reached the group, Chiho floating behind him. "King Satan is all washed up."

"Enough talking. Kill them both now." Olba ordered as Emi glared at him. "Two birds with one stone. Or rather three of we include that pink haired brat."

"Emi..." Maou groaned out, making the girl look down. "Prepare yourself." He grabbed her and Natsu's hand before they all vanished in a puff of black flames.

The girl opened her eyes and found them surrounded by people and ambulances. "This is Shokaito Road..." She mumbled in confusion as Natsu turned green from the sudden teleportation. "We're right by Sasazuka Station! Why bring us somewhere so crowded? An ambulance should be the last thing on your mind!"

"There's no point in running, sire." Lucifer chuckled as he appeared overhead. "The party is over."

Olba appeared next to the winged teen, making the crowd stare up at the two. "Just get it done with already. There are far too many witnesses here."

"Relax, old man. We can just kill them too." Lucifer chuckled. "But first, I'm not going to make the same mistake I made in Shinjuku." A bolt of magic ripped through Maou's chest, bloodying his shirt as he toppled over.

"Maou... snap out of it..." Emi begged as Natsu clutched his knee.

"Sorry, but he's not gonna bounce back." Lucifer chuckled. "Now that he's out of the way, I guess I don't need her anymore." He dropped Chiho and Emi sprinted forward. She slid to a stop and her knees snapped back and she cried out in pain as Natsu reached out to her.

"Olba, time for the grand finale!" Lucifer cheered as he flew in the air. "Help me kick up some tasty fear." He summoned a small energy ball and a series of magical circles appeared, scaring the crowd as the bolts hit the bridge and sent it crumbling down. Natsu grit his teeth and stood up, only for the leg to give out. Emi covered Chiho as the bricks started falling.

"That's weird... I was expecting more of a bang." Lucifer confessed.

Emi looked up and found the bridge frozen in air. "That's a B-Movie for ya. Predictable." Natsu was floated into the air and the bullet was pulled out of his knee before his wounds started healing. "Guess I owe ya one, Lucifer. Thanks for giving me all the power I need to get my true form back."

The dust settled and Chiho's eyes slowly opened, looking back. "Is that... Mr. Maou?"

"It's a long story." Emi explained. 'That's why he brought us here. So he could feed off their despair and fear.'

"Snap out of it!" Maou shouted, sweat building up in him. "This is not the time to be spacing out. You and Natsu need to take those guys down now! This stuff is freaking heavy. Can't you see I'm slipping!?" The rocks and rubble started floating down. "Please hurry!"

"You are such a loser." Emi chuckled as she looked back. "I've never seen a devil as lame as you."

"Emi, this is not the time." Natsu replied as he cracked his knuckles as smoke rolled off him. "I want some payback on these guys."

"You two seem to have forgot that I'm the hero." She said back as she stood up. "I would rather die than help a demon do anything. Hold out for as long as you can. Natsu and I will clean up your mess." A glow left her hand and covered Chiho. "You'll be safe in here. For some reason, I've decided to let you know everything."

The glow died and Natsu walked forward. "Manifest now, my true power! So I may vanquish all evil!" Her body started glowing before golden armor covered her arms and legs. Her hair turned white before her Sacred Sword appeared in front of her. "I am a hero born. The world might change, but that fact never will!"

"Lame! Cliche!"

"Shut up!" Emi shouted as she turned back to Maou. "Don't forget, the second we're done with these two, you're next!"

"Just be quick about it, okay?" Maou asked before turning to the crowd. "Here, this should help." He snapped his fingers and a domed grey area started expanding out, knocking out the ordinary humans.

"What was that?" Natsu asked as he looked around.

"It's a barrier spell." Maou explained. "It put everyone to sleep and it'll keep the media from finding us. Think of it like a pocket dimension. Now you two are free to unleash on these punks."

"A pocket dime-" Emi asked in shock. 'He says that like it's nothing, but how much power does this guy have to spend?'

"Now hurry up!" The Devil shouted, sweat building up on his face.

"That's lame." Lucifer complained. "Don't you know taking out innocent people is what makes this fun!?" He fired a magical shot at the two, forcing Natsu and Emi to dodge.

The blast sailed past them and hit Maou square in the head. "The hell was that for, guys!?"

"Sorry." Emi said before she suddenly jumped up, golden energy leaving her boots.

"Wait up!" Natsu shouted as he jumped from one chunk of rubble to another after her. Emi swung her sword and forced the two partners apart.

"You think you can keep up with me!?" Lucifer shouted as his wings start glowing. He flew around Emi and punched her repeatedly, only to get blocked back her armored arms. She swung her sword and clipped his wings, forcing him back.

"Olba, do something!" The angel complained as he flew around the frozen city. "Get the dude! She'll surrender if we have her friend!" Lucifer shouted at the priest.

Olba charged at Natsu as he reached the top of the broken bridge, only for the boy to turn, raise his flaming leg and kick him in the head. "I finally get to cut lose!" He smiled before bringing his hands to his mouth. "Fire Dragon Roar!"

"Dragon!?" Olba asked before a torrent of flames shot out of Natsu's hands, blasting him back and scorching his robes. "He has the power of a dragon at his disposal!?"

Emi flipped back from an attack and landed on a lamp post as a single black feather floated next to her. An explosion rocked the streets and brought a smirked to the Fallen Angel's face. "Can't believe I panicked. You can't even replenish your Celestial Force. How'd you plan on beating me!?"

He laughed at her apparent destruction before turning to Olba, who was being pushed back by Natsu. "Now, to deal with him."

"It seems you have forgotten the first rule of warfare." A voice declared, catching the angel's attention. He turned around and went wide eyed as he stared up at both Emila and Alciel floating behind him. "It stains my black soul to align with the Hero, but my allegiance lies with King Satan, so I have no choice. That makes you my enemy right now, Lucifer."

"Alciel..." Lucifer growled in anger.

"I thought you were dead." Emila said as she started floating on her own.

"My king saved me." The general explained. "He left me just enough power to escape death's mighty clutch."

"The what the heck took you so long?" The Hero asked in annoyance.

"I had to go back to the apartment and pick up my general's cape!" He replied.

Olba popped out from behind a corner and aimed his gun, only for Natsu to grab the barrel and melt the weapon down. "My turn! Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" He slammed his burning into his chest and sent the priest flying back. "Guys... less talking, more fighting!" He declared as he ignited both fists and charged the robed man.

"Olba, stop screwing around!" Lucifer shouted in annoyance. "You might be the worst partner in the history of time! Use some magic and kill these guys!"

"I do not have the means to recover my Celestial Force!" The priest shouted as he dodged Natsu's punches. "If I use it all now, neither of us will be able to get back home!"

"The hell do you think happens if we lose!?" Lucifer shouted back. The priest started glowing and charged into the battle.

"Hey! Get back here!" Natsu shouted as he jumped after his opponent.

Explosions littered the sky as Maou grumbled in annoyance. "Is it just me, or does my role in all this seem a bit anti-climatic?"

"T-This is all real..." Chiho mumbled in surprise and horror as Maou slowly lowered the bridge rubble.

Magic bullets shot out of Lucifer's hand as Alciel blocked them. Emila threw Natsu up from behind, his whole body igniting."Fire Dragon Sword Horn!" He speared Lucifer into a billboard, forcing Olba to blast purple lightning at the other two. Alciel telepathically threw car after car at him, forcing him to fly away.

Emi charged with a flaming sword and sent him crashing into a building. "Emila... you're a fool..." He groaned out. "Working with Satan..." Natsu landed in front of him and punched the priest, knocking him out.

With a heavy sigh, Maou finally lowered the last of the rubble safely. "Man, that was seriously heavy! But still, way to go me." He chuckled. "What do you say we wrap this up? If this drag out any longer, Chi and I are gonna be late for work. I promised to teach you how to fix the ice cream machine, right?" He glanced back at the school-girl, who turned away with a massive blush on her face.

"As for the rest of you, you all have some nerve relegating a demon king like me to menial task like holding up a bridge!" He started floating into the air, a dark aura rolling off him. "Natsu, move." The pinkette jumped to the ground and the mere glance of Maou's eyes sent Olba crashing through the building.

Lucifer gasped in shock and seconds later, Maou was in his face, scaring the General into tears. "Emi, what do you think I should do with him?"

"Let's see... how about making him pay for wrecking the neighborhood?" The hero suggested.

"Good idea." The king chuckled. "And Lucifer, if I'm late to work today, it's your fault." The Fallen Angel merely chattered his teeth in fear. "If I lose my 'perfect attendance' bonus because of you, you're gonna regret it."

"Do not worry about it." Alciel added. "I don't understand it either."

"I thought you were a great Demon General, right?" Satan asked as he pulled his fist back, red magic circles piling up behind him. "Where's all this fear coming from? Face your doom like a man!" He slammed his fist and a massive explosion rocked Natsu to the ground.

The pinkette popped up and looked around, seeing a battered Lucifer fall to the ground covered in welts. "Damn... I wanna fight you now!" He declared as Maou, Emi and Alciel landed in front of the two, the demons back in their normal forms.

"So, this might be a bit late, but what's going on?" Chiho asked. "What are you guys?"

"Well, since you asked..." Maou chuckled as he scratched his face. "Truth is, back home I'm a demon king." Chiho chuckled a bit and Maou fell over.

"Sorry, it's just... you were so cool back there." She mumbled.

"Yeah, I know... but it wasn't that big of a deal." He replied, catching Alciel off guard.

"Me and Natsu aren't like them." Emi said as her hair returned to normal. "We're just normal human beings, same as you. Then again, Natsu was raised by a dragon... and I have angel blood in me."

"Wait, what!?" Maou and Alciel asked in shock. "Natsu, is that true?"

"For me, yeah." He nodded. "Not so sure about her angel blood though." He turned his head as Chiho started laughing. "What's up?"

"Sorry..." She replied, stopping for air. "It's just, when I picture an angel or a demon, they don't look so ordinary."

"I see your point. Not many demon kings would work at MgRonalds." Emi chuckled.

"Says the hero who works at a call center." Maou retorted. "Which reminds me, if you two have that much power, why haven't you and Natsu taken me out yet?"

"Because she won't let me." Natsu replied, earning a punch from Emi.

"Hey, he could have been hiding his true power lever this whole time." She snapped back. "And do I need to remind you that without my power, neither of us will be getting home." Emi leaned into Chiho's face and smiled. "See, I could never be in a romantic relationship with this guy because we hate each other's stinking guts. So relax."

Natsu walked over to Lucifer and picked up by the collar. "Something's been bugging me..." He said, making the fallen angel flinch. "How'd you get Emi's work number?"

"Uh... well..." The teen reached into his pocket and pulled out...

"My wallet!?" Emi shouted, running over and taking the plastic.

"Lucifer... did you really look inside a lady's wallet without permission?" Maou asked in disgust.

"That's low." Alciel added.

"I will destroy you!" Emi shouted as Natsu held her back.

"EMILIA!"

The girl turned around to see two people race flying over. "Emeralda! Albert!" She cried out before hugging the green haired girl.

"You two sure missed all the fun." Maou said, ruining the moment.

Both turned and pointed at the demon king and spoke in their native language, shocking Chiho. "Wait, I know your voice." She declared, pointing at Albert.

"Natsu, catch." Maou called out, making the man catch some keys. "Take Chiho and head to our home. Explain everything there, me and Alciel are gonna clean up everything before the barrier comes down."

Maou's Apartment

"Yeah, I know what you're thinking." Emi said as they took oof their shoes. "Yes, they really live in a tiny place like this. In this world, the Devil's castle is a small room on the second floor of an apartment building."

"...My cabin is bigger than this." Albert said as he looked around.

"I thought the same thing about my house." Natsu chuckled.

"Anyway, tis not just Olba who has turned." Emeralda declared. "The entire Church was in on it. We're threats to the Church as of right now. Even that was hard, they have everything on lockdown. They wouldn't lay a finger in us if we kept out heads down and stayed quite, but I refused and resigned."

"Is that why you guys bombarded this place with sonar pulses?" Natsu asked. "You know, they caused a lot of problems here."

"Yeah, that probably wasn't the best idea." The fighter chuckled. "But we did what we had to to find Emilia."

"Sir... could you please explain why I kept hearing your voice?" Chiho asked as the world returned to normal.

"Interesting..." Emeralda chuckled. "We set the parameters limiting who would receive the idea link. Only those who were thinking about King Satan. Guess Emilia was out of range." Chiho's entire face turned red as the robed wizard chuckled. "Romance is in the air."

The door opened and the trio of demons walked in, scaring Chiho enough to scream and scare them as well.

Sunset

"Damn, I still can't believe Maou undid all that damage." Natsu said as he leaned over a railing. "I wish we had that power back in the guild. We'd have saved so much money. Heck, the Council might have loved us then."

"I still can't believe that was the Demon King." Albert said. "Emeralda, we should probably get back home. Can't be away too long, or the church will get away with who knows what. Guess you know this, but we could really use you back home, Emila."

"Yeah..." She mumbled as she stared at the ground.

"Come on, Emi. Crack a smile." Natsu insisted. "No one died, and everything is back to normal. Nobody remembers anything, so it's like nothing happened."

"Are we positive this kids the real Devil King?" Albert asked. Emi merely gripped the mesh as her friends entered the gate.

Later At Night

Maou rode his bike down the street before he came ro a sudden stop, Emi and Natsu in his path. "Hey, there."

"You seem kinda down, something happened?" Natsu asked.

"Did you make Chiho cry again?" Emi asked.

"I don't really get people." He sighed. "I offered to erase her memories of the event and she flips out. She didn't say a word to me at work today..."

"You have zero tact..." Emi sighed as she shook her head. "Do you... plan to go back to Ente Isla?"

"No, and before you ask, the answer is no." Maou said. "I used up too much magic fixing the city."

"I, on the other hand, can go back whenever I please." Emi retorted. "And I'm sure someone can help Natsu back to his world. Either way, we don't need to worry about restoring my Sacred Sword to it's full power. However, as long as the Demon King wanders this realm, the Hero must remain as well."

"And?" Maou asked with a raised eyebrow. "I'm completely out of magic. Shall we have at it?"

"I already told you, I'm the hero." She said with a smirk. "I would shame myself to defeat you when your so weak."

"They why are you two waiting out here for?" Maou asked, making her blush.

"Here." Natsu chucked an umbrella at him, forcing the demon to catch. "She felt bad she destroyed the one you gave her, so this is her way of repaying the favor. See ya." The two walked away as Maou pedaled home. "Why were you so embarrassed about that? It's just an-"

Natsu stumbled to the side before quickly grabbing his head. "Natsu, you okay?" Emi asked.

"Yeah... yeah, I'm fine." Natsu replied before the two 'siblings' headed home. 'Crap, I need some fire.'
