Salvatore Boarding House.
Stefan stared at Elena's necklace which she'd left on the picture of Katherine, concern in his eyes.
He kept trying to call Elena but she didn't answer and so he decided to leave a voicemail.
"Elena. It's Stefan. I know that this picture must have confused you. But I can explain. I need to explain. So, please, when you get this, call me."
December 3rd.
Alaric's Apartment.
Alaric sat at his desk, typing on his computer while sipping tea from a thermos.
I found one. After years of research and study, there it was right in front of me. I was terrified. As I stared it in the eyes, I drove a stake through its heart. I was right about Mystic Falls. There is evil here. I can sense it. Feel it. It's everywhere.
He stopped, standing up to dress up for his job, and he went back to the table where he stared at a picture of a very beautiful young woman with dark brown hair and eyes.
Flashback.
The young woman slept comfortably in a bed when a younger Alaric sat and pressed a kiss on her forehead, making her groan slightly as she woke up.
"It's not even 7 yet."
She said sleepily, grinning him and he smiled back and answered cheekily.
"Which means you shouldn't be awake for at least six hours."
"Ugh, I hate morning people."
She grinned before moving to cover her head up with the blanket and he stopped her.
"I'm going to be home late."
"I love you."
She smiled softly at him and he grinned, answering her back.
"I love you too."
She covered her head back with her blanket.
Gilbert Residence.
Cherith went down the stairs that morning as she prepared to leave for school and headed straight to the kitchen where Jenna was, and Cherith sighed, looking rather petulant.
"I can't believe Elena left for school without even offering me a ride! Come to think of it, she's never this early!"
She scoffed, sitting down and turning to a worried Jenna.
"Maybe she's with Stefan."
Jenna sighed, shaking her head.
"No. I'm not so sure about that. It could be a possibility though. She could have at least notified someone. I tried calling her phone all morning but she's not picking."
Cherith frowned, getting slightly worried.
"Um… what about Bonnie? Caroline? Did you maybe get in touch?"
Jenna nodded.
"Yes, she's not with Caroline but I can't reach Bonnie."
Cherith nodded.
"Then she's probably with Stefan and then she'll go straight to school from his house. You know how Elena is aunty… don't stress yourself too much."
Jenna sighed, nodding while trying to calm down.
"Yeah. You're probably right. So, do you need a ride to school?"
Cherith waved her off.
"No worries, I'll just take the bus. And I also want to take a look at Jeremy's old scooter bike in the garage too."
"Oh? That blue and black thingie? I'm not so sure it's in good condition anymore. I remember seeing the back dragging on the floor some weeks back."
Cherith groaned.
"Really?!? Oh come on!"
Jenna chuckled, ruffling her niece's hair as she grabbed her bag to leave.
"Ugh fine! I'll think of another mode of transportation."
"Maybe you could get a skateboard."
Jenna joked and Cherith huffed as she moved to leave the house.
"Yeah, no thank you. I don't want to mess up this pretty face."
"Cheeky brat."
"See you Jenna!"
Cherith walked out of her house, heading towards the bus stop with a lot on her mind.
From her sister, to college, to what she realized about herself from Sheila Bennett the previous day.
She hadn't had a lot of time to think on it after getting back from the career fair as she'd been too exhausted.
She smiled though, realizing that she finally had something from her mom, even if it was to be kept secret, was something she held special to her heart.
She wouldn't lie and pretend like she had never been curious about Iola Cadwallader.
Not many people knew her as she was hailed from Britain, but when she'd died, she'd been buried next to her husband in the Gilbert family plot in the cemetery.
She knew her mother was beautiful. She had some pictures of her. She had blonde curly hair and amethyst eyes like Cherith.
But Cherith had always wondered where her ruby red hair came from.
It was probably from her mother's side as no one in the Gilbert like had her coloring.
She wondered about her mother also being a witch.
Had Christian Gilbert known??
Had her adoptive parents even known too??
So many questions and yet, so little answers.
She entered the bus and pondered about her own powers, staring at her hands and remembering the reddish gold mist that had covered her hands some days back.
They had been bright… like… energy of some sort.
Sheila had said she had no idea what that was.
Was there a way she could find out more about herself?
Honestly, visiting her mother's homeland seemed even more special to her as she'd been thinking on it for some time now.
But still, she had to learn how to summon and control her powers.
She hadn't even asked Sheila if witches were the only beings that existed.
It was possible but… Cherith felt it was rather far fetched at the same time.
In every fairytale, there was always a nightmare or two lurking around, preparing to strike.
She still needed to access her magic.
She could feel something right in her chest, but… accessing it was a problem for her.
She placed her hand on her chest, rubbing it slightly.
She knew she had to actually meditate, to see if she could bring it forth.
And she wasn't going to waste any time.
This was… amazing to her!
She grinned.
It was like suddenly, she didn't feel odd anymore. Now, she was… special.
Different, in a good way.
She vowed that after school, she'd head to the woods and try and access her powers.
Of course, there was still the threat of an animal attacks happening, but where else could she even try to practice such?
What if her brother or Jenna, or even Elena walked in on her actually doing the impossible?
She couldn't also do it in the backyard as well as there wasn't as much space and quiet to be found there.
Yes.
The forest would have to do.
Somewhere in Georgia.
Damon is driving across an open field when Elena groans slightly, shifting as she wakes up, a small cut on her forehead.
"Morning."
He greeted with a smirk and Elena groaned again, looking around confused.
"Where are we?"
She asked.
"Georgia."
Elena turned to him incredulously.
"Georgia?! No, no. No, we're not. Seriously, Damon. Where are we?!"
Damon rolled his eyes.
"Seriously, we're...we're in Georgia. How ya feeling?"
"I...I..."
She stuttered out, still feeling slightly confused and in pain.
"Don't worry. There's no broken bones. I checked."
Elena frowned.
"But my car...there was a man...I hit a man. But then he got up, and...who was that?"
"That's what I would like to know."
Damon said, sighing.
"Where is my phone?"
Elena suddenly asked, looking around while checking her pocket frantically.
"OK. We really need to go back. Nobody knows where I am."
She panicked, knowing Jenna and her siblings would probably be worried by now.
She grimaced slightly, feeling guilty at the thought of what Jenna would be going through.
This was definitely not her day. She turned to Damon.
"Pull over."
He didn't answer, as he just kept driving on and she glared at him.
"I mean it, Damon. Pull over! Stop the car!"
Damon sighed.
"Oh you were so much more fun when you were asleep."
He said as he finally pulled over to the side and Elena got out of the car, limping weakly which Damon notices as he blurred over to her, trying to be of help and she looks at him confused at why he was being nice.
"I'm fine. But we still have to go back"
He sighed.
"Oh come on. Look. We've already come this far..."
He tried to persuade her but she wasn't listening, instead she stared at him suspiciously, knowing he must have an ulterior motive to all this.
"Why are you doing this? I can't be in Georgia. I wrecked my car. I have to go home. This is kidnapping."
She threatened and he scoffed, waving it off.
"That's a little melodramatic, don't you think?"
"You're not funny. You can't do this. I'm not going to Georgia."
"Well, you're IN Georgia. Without your magical little necklace, I might add. I can very easily make you...agreeable."
He smirked suggestively and Elena gulped, as she touched her neck where the necklace used to be, suddenly cautious.
"What are you trying to prove?"
She asked him and immediately, a phone rang from his pocket and Elena stared at him at the realization that it was her phone.
She looked at him accusingly.
"That's my phone."
"Hm"
He brought it out of his pocket, checking the caller ID and he passed the phone to her.
"It's your boyfriend."
Elena looked away, not wanting to pick and Damon sighed.
"Fine. I'll take it."
He picked, bringing it to his ear.
"Elena's phone."
Back at the Salvatore Boarding House, Stefan stopped, slightly shocked before he glared at nothing in particular.
"Where is she? Why do you have her phone? Is she okay?"
He fired all at once at Damon who smirked.
"Oh, you mean Elena? She's right here. And, yes, she's fine."
"Where are you? Let me speak to her."
Damon passed the phone to Elena.
"He wants to talk to you."
Elena shook her head, feeling slightly petulant.
"Uh-uh."
Damon sighed, putting the phone back to his ear.
"Yeah. I don't...I don't really think she wants to talk to you right now."
"Damon, I swear to God, if you touch her..."
Stefan threatened and Damon smirked, glad that he could get under his brother's skin.
"Hm, yes. You have a good day. Mm-hmm. Bye-now."
He cut the call and Stefan grew even angrier.
"Argh!"
He let out before stoning his phone at the wall by his side, feeling frustrated.
Elena finally turned to Damon again, trying to convince him.
"Look, no one knows where I am. Can we please just go back? I really need to assure everyone I'm okay before they start calling the police."
"We're almost there."
"Where is there?!"
She asked frustratingly, dragging a hand through her hair, looking like she was about to cry and Damon shrugged, answering vaguely.
"A little place right outside of Atlanta."
Elena looked like she was about to start shouting again when Damon stopped her.
"Oh, come on, Elena. You don't wanna go back right now. Do you? What's the rush? Time-out. Trust me. Your problems are still going to be there when you get home."
He assured her.
"Look. Step away from your life for five minutes. Five minutes!"
He playfully begged and Elena sighed, looking at him.
"Am I gonna be safe with you?"
"Yes."
"You promise not to do that… mind control thing with me?"
She asked him again and he nodded.
"Yes."
"Can I trust you?"
She looked him in the eyes seriously and he stared back before turning to walk to the driver's seat, not answering her.
"Get in the car. Come on."
Elena stared at nothing in particular, letting out a small sigh before she entered.
Mystic Falls High.
Cherith walked around the front building, seeing if she could spot any friend of Elena's so she could see if she could get Stefan's number and demand if her sister was with him or not. Which she was sure there was a possibility she was.
She hadn't spotted Elena's car around and so was getting even more worried.
This was not like Elena, at all.
She'd even tried her number while on the bus a number of times before it went into voicemail and Cherith had threatened her sister before angrily putting her phone in her backpack.
Just then, she saw Bonnie and Stefan walking and breathed a sigh of relief.
Just the two people she was looking for, even though she wondered about Stefan, after all he didn't exactly go to school with them anymore.
As she got closer to them, she could hear some things they were saying.
"I understand that. But I need your help. It's Elena…"
Cherith stopped, concern suddenly dripping into her very bones.
Elena??
Was she okay??
Did something happen?
...
Was she pregnant?!?!?
Before she could walk to him and demand what was wrong with her sister, Stefan spoke up again with a frown.
"She's with Damon."
"What?"
Cherith gritted out with a cold voice and the 2 turned to her in surprise.
"Cher—"
"Shut up, Stefan."
She cut him off, holding her hand to stop him and she brought it to the bridge of her nose, massaging it in frustration.
"So, you mean to tell me, that the only reason Elena isn't picking up her phone is because she's… hanging out with your asshole of a brother??"
She spat out, anger brimming which she tried to hold down so as not to cause another accident as she breathed in and out.
"Cherith… it's not like that—"
"Yeah, no. I don't care what you say. Jenna's been worried sick to her stomach about her all night and this morning! And she isn't picking any calls and she's even missing school so she could gallivant around with Damon Salvatore?!"
Cherith sighed, looking at the skies incredulously before her look turned to accusation.
"It's your fault! I just had to have been born the youngest!"
She shouted at the skies and some people stared at her oddly before she looked at Stefan one more time with a frown.
"When next you see Elena, you better tell her she has a LOT of groveling to do…"
She muttered, walking away, waving once to Bonnie who was still frowning though a look of concern was on her face.
Cherith decided to greet her fellow witch much more better later.
Better to foster peace between the both of them.
Bree's Bar.
Elena stands outside, making a call to someone she should have a long while ago.
"Hey, Jenna. I'm so sorry I haven't called."
Jenna sighed, slightly angry but mixed with relief as well as she finally knew where her niece was.
"Where are you?... And why didn't you even call! We've been so worried! I had half a mind to call Liz and report you missing!"
She ranted and Elena winced, looking down.
"I'm really sorry, Jenna. I was super tired and I fell asleep at Bonnie's. Then this morning, I went straight to school. I just had a lot on my mind."
She sighed and Jenna frowned.
"Hey, are you okay?"
Elena shrugged, not sure how she felt.
"You know…. Stefan and… stuff."
In the woods…
Cherith sighed as she found a safe sort of place in the wood, not to far and not too close to be caught.
She'd texted Jenna that she had a project to do and would not be back for a while so she was thankfully in the clear.
She dropped her bag on a huge stone and looked around.
It was quiet, except for the occasional birds chirping and the wind rustling around.
"Perfect."
She grinned before sitting down on the ground, ignoring the dirt beneath her black jeans and crossed her legs, sitting comfortably before closing her eyes and taking deep breaths.
"Okay! Let's do this."
She breathed out.
Mystic Falls Library.
Jeremy walked around, looking for a certain book, or rather, certain books, cursing silently for not begging Cherith to come with him as she usually frequented the library for years especially when she'd been homeschooled.
She'd practically memorized where everything was.
Suddenly some books fell from the bookcase in front of him, startling him and he breathed out at the shock.
As he bent to pick the books, someone came up from behind him.
"Oh my God!"
Jeremy jumped startled at the sudden voice, standing straight as he turned to see a pretty Asian girl behind him and he sighed again.
"I am so sorry. There was this one book wedged between the other, and so I pulled and then kaplunk, kaboom."
She rambles rather adorably, before gesturing with her hands at him.
"You okay?"
Jeremy waved her off.
"Yeah I'm fine. No worries."
In that moment, the both of them bent down to pick the books and ended up knocking their foreheads into each other's and they sat on the ground, chuckling and holding their heads.
"Sorry! Again! I'm Anna, by the way…"
"I'm Jeremy."
Old Fell's Church Ruins.
Bonnie looked around the ruins, nervous and fear creeping into her.
She stared at where Emily had destroyed the crystal and Damon had attacked her before grabbing a leaf from the ground, placing it on her palm and trying to levitate it with her other hand, to no avail, making her frustrated.
Just then, she heard a noise and looked around, letting the leaf fall from her hand.
"Hello?!..."
She shouted out, looking around.
"Is anybody there?!"
Her voice shakes when suddenly, the ground beneath her feet gave way and she fell beneath, letting out a scream and falling unconscious.
Forest…
Cherith breathed in and out, slowly but constantly, searching within her for something… anything, that could be what she was looking for.
She didn't know what she was looking for, she just hoped that she'd know what it was when she finally found it… or if.
She sighed, opening her eyes, looking frustrated.
"I really should stop being negative. After all, if I really want to find… whatever it is that I'm searching out, I should be… bold! And… and focused! I mean… I am focused but… a lot is still on my mind."
She rambles to herself, not even noticing that she was doing it.
"There's a lot to think about! I'm a senior. I'll be leaving for college soon, granted I don't know which college I want to go to, and if I want to go to college just yet, and what I want to study and Elena being a total ass, ignoring my calls and—"
She sighed, her anger and frustration building up again.
She'd tried to bury all this things in the deepest part of her mind, trying to act like everything was okay with her and not wanting to concern her living relatives.
After the death of her adoptive parents, she didn't know what to do. She hadn't known where to start.
Everyone was stuck in their grief and every five minutes, Cherith had felt like crying her eyes out and she knew that would make everyone try and baby her and so she'd pretended like everything was okay.
Like it was just another thing one went through with life.
But now… a lot of things had left her wanting parental support again.
And it was driving her mad.
Tears built up in her eyes and she blinked it away but her lips wobbled and she cussed at the sudden emotional feeling she felt.
Closing her eyes, she frowned, actively searching for something desperately in her, when her heartbeat quickened bas she suddenly felt something… electric, in her.
Like a door locked, trying to force it's way open or a dam holding back a strong current of water.
She frowned, feeling the discomfort and gritted her teeth, wondering exactly how she could bring it forth.
She didn't care if it wasn't what she was looking for.
She didn't care if figuratively opening this… lockage would be bad for her, but… when had Cherith Iola Gilbert ever turned her back on something?
Sweat went down her face as she hunched into herself where she sat on the ground, feeling the electrifying current building up around her.
The dead leaves and twigs around her in the forest began vibrating in the ground, levitation just a little bit on the ground.
Cherith groaned, gritting her teeth as she felt her body get hot and uncomfortable and she bit her lip so as not to let out a scream, her fists tightening and the leaves and twigs of all shapes and sizes picked up with the air around her, floating in a circular motion continuously and her hair rustling around her.
Suddenly, the hotness she felt just beneath her skin, mixed with the electrifying feeling got too much for her as she let out a heart wrenching scream, letting it all out and as if responding to her scream, she felt something unlock deep within her and a reddish gold light practically glowed out of her chest, expanding outward in a cosmic energy fashion and it increased until it covered almost a quarter mile radius of where she was before dissipating and causing a shockwave that resonated past the forest and into the town.
Stefan Salvatore stopped, a frown appearing on his face as he felt a tremor shake the very foundations of Mystic Falls and it seemed to go through him as he hunched slightly, feeling like something or someone powerful had just passed him by.
Anna Zhu stopped what she was discussing with Jeremy who stopped as well as he also felt a slight tremor as the building practically shook for a second.
"Whoa, what the hell?"
He mumbled, puzzled and Anna sucked in air, closing her eyes at the power that passed through her.
Such… power… she needed to know who and what caused it.
Sheila Bennett grabbed a drink from her fridge when the tremor shook around her, making her stagger as she felt power… unlimited power go through her in waves.
Se closed her eyes, basking slightly in it like sunlight and wondering what caused it.
It couldn't have been her granddaughter.
Her mind went to little Cherith Gilbert but she shook her head.
"No… it couldn't possibly be her."
She muttered softly after the tremors ended.
Around town and even a couple of towns over, residents wondered what had caused the tremors and there was a lot of concerns, curiousness and wariness that went around town for the rest of the week.
As soon as Cherith's screams stopped, she opened her eyes groggily, feeling slightly week as she fell to the ground, the skies turning black as she fell unconscious.
The sky was already slightly dark out when Cherith stirred, sitting up with a sigh.
She paused, having expected herself to at least be in pain or be super exhausted, but instead… she felt good.
Really good!
Like she'd been exercising for years and her stamina was off the charts.
She stood up, dusting her body and she suddenly felt an electrify feeling in her body, like she was brimming with energy.
She looked down at her hand, closing and opening it, before imagining it glowing like it had once and immediately, it was like she put on an on switch as her hand lit with a beautiful reddish energy directly in her hand, like a ball and a red energy field extending around her hands.
She let out a shocked laugh, turning her hand over as it glowed and the energy ball pulsed.
She then looked in front of her where a dead tree stood and focused, raising her hand in front of her and gripping her hand half into a fist in concentration as she glared at it, and energy field encasing the tree, and letting out a small shout and raising her hand up and immediately, the tree uprooted from the ground with such strength as it was left levitating and Cherith laughed, feeling exhilarated.
She looked at her other hand and it lit up as well, and with a look of concentration, threw the tree at another and it broke with a loud bang.
Cherith smiled giddily, staring at her hands.
"Oh wow! I can't believe this!"
She watched her hands before turning it to a tree and an energy blast flew from her hand, hitting the tree as it exploded into bits and pieces and Cherith fell, turning her face from it.
When she looked back, there was smoke at the roots of the destroyed tree and she stared in shock at it's absolute destruction.
Standing up slowly, she stared at her hands again, willing the energy in her hands away and she laughed.
"I'm a witch."
She said with elation as if finally seemed real.
The proof was right in front of her.
She really was a witch!
Gilbert Residence.
Cherith walked into the house, a slight spring in her steps as she walked right into the kitchen with a big grin.
"Hey Jenna!"
Jenna looked up from what she was doing, smiling at Cherith.
"Hey Cherith. You look happy."
"I am happy. I have achieved ultimate power!"
She laughed maniacally before stopping with a frown.
"Oh wow, I just sounded like an evil witch!"
Jenna snorted.
"Haven't you always been one?"
She jested and Cherith snorted.
"I'm not an evil witch… but you have no idea how close to the truth you are."
She muttered under her breath quietly before grabbing some left over Mac and Cheese in the fridge, putting some in the microwave for herself and sighing.
"Wow! I've had a really long day!"
"What were you up to anyways?"
Cherith shrugged.
"Nothing much actually, just going through colleges and all."
"Ah…"
Jenna nodded.
"Do you have any idea about which college you want to go?"
Cherith sighed.
"I don't know… I guess I have 3 in mind right now… I know everyone expects me to want to head to Whitmore, but… I just… it's not exactly, drawing me in, you know? I don't want to live my life wondering 'what if I had chosen another school' or 'what if I had chosen this decision', you know?"
She looked at Jenna, hoping she wouldn't get angry but Jenna smiled at her.
"Hey, it's okay. And totally understandable as well. You've lived in little old Mystic Falls all your life, so of course you'd want to see more of the world. So, which schools are on your mind?"
Cherith grinned.
"Well, there's Whitmore college, obviously cause of the family and all… then there's UCLA, though that's mainly because of Leslie. And then… the University of Oxford."
She whispered the last one sheepishly and Jenna's eyes widened, whistling lowly as Cherith moved to eat her now hot Mac and Cheese.
"Wow… Oxford across the pond huh?... Seems to me like you've thought a lot on it."
Cherith nodded as she took a bite of her food.
"Yes. I still have some other thoughts on mind, taking my age into consideration and all, but don't worry, when I make a decision I'll be sure to let you know."
"Good."
Jenna grinned, ruffling Cherith's hair as she went back to what she was doing.
Salvatore Boarding House.
Next day. December 4th.
Elena walked into Stefan's room that night, ready to confront him.
He turned bas soon as she walked in and she greeted him as he stood up.
"Hi."
"Hi."
"You could have told me."
She began and Stefan walked over to her.
"I wanted to tell you."
"You said no more lies. Only the truth. I can handle the truth, Stefan. As crazy as it is, I can handle the fact that you are a vampire. And that you have a vampire brother. And that my best friend is a witch. I can accept the fact that the world is a much more mysterious place than I ever thought possible. But this...this lie, I cannot take. What am I to you? Who am I to you?"
"You are not Katherine. You are the opposite of everything that she was."
He said, trying to assure her but she shook her head, disbelief in her eyes.
"Oh? And when did you figure that out? Before you kissed me? Before we slept together?"
He looked hesitant to answer.
"Before I met you."
Elena blinked, suddenly confused.
"What?"
"The first day of school. When we met. It wasn't for the first time, Elena."
"Then when was it?"
"May 23, 2009."
Realization suddenly washed over her face as she knew the date he'd just said.
"But that was..."
"That was the day your parents' car went off the bridge."
"You were there?"
Stefan nodded.
"Every couple of years I come back here, to see Zach and see my home. Last spring, I was out in the woods, by old Wickery Bridge. And I heard the accident. All of it. I was fast getting there, but not fast enough. The car was already submerged. Your dad was still...he was still conscious. I was able to get to him, but he wouldn't let me help him, until I helped you and your sister."
Elena suddenly started crying.
"Oh my god. When I woke up in the hospital, nobody could figure out how I got out of the car. They said it was a miracle."
"I got you out first as you were closest to me and when I went back for your sister, I had been worried that she wouldn't make it as she'd been submerged for a long time. It's a miracle she's still here and alive. I went back for them. But it was too late. I couldn't-- I couldn't save them. When I pulled you out, I looked at your face. You looked like Katherine. I couldn't believe the resemblance. After that, I spent months making sure that you weren't her. I watched you. I learned everything that I could about you. And I saw that you were nothing like Katherine. And I wanted to leave town, but, Elena, I couldn't. I couldn't leave without knowing you. I'm so sorry that I didn't tell you. I wanted to. But you were so sad."
He told her softly and tears kept falling from her eyes.
"Why do I look like her?"
She suddenly asked and Stefan hesitated.
"Elena, you've been through so much."
But Elena wouldn't listen. She had to… needed, to know the truth and now.
"Why do I look like her, Stefan? What are you not telling me?"
Stefan sighed, looking down before answering her.
"It didn't make any sense to me. You were a Gilbert. She was a Pierce. But the resemblance was too similar. And then I learned the truth…"
He looked into her eyes, making her know he was telling her only the truth.
"You were adopted, Elena."
Gilbert Residence.
Cherith closed her room door as she headed to the bathroom when she heard the front door open and she rushed to check just who it was and her eyes widened as Elena walked in.
Slight anger built in her as her sister had been gone for 2 day! And she was just entering the house!
"You know, I don't set a lot of rules, especially with you Elena!"
Jenna stood up, walking over to her.
"I trust you to tell me the truth. Where were you and why did you lie to me about it! I thought we were closer thank that??"
Elena though, stared back at her.
"Now is not the time to talk to me about lies."
She scoffed, about to head up the stairs when Jenna shook her head, stopping her.
"No. Don't do that, don't turn this back on me. I didn't do anything!"
"Okay question… am I adopted?"
Cherith's eyes widened at that, confusion clouding her mind at the question her sister had just fired at Jenna.
It was quiet for a while before Elena spoke again.
"I trust you to tell me the truth too Jenna. How could you not tell me? I thought we were closer than that."
She repeated Jenna's sentence before running up the stairs.
Jenna turned, stuttering, regret in her eyes.
"Elena I didn't… they asked me not to…"
"I don't wanna hear it!"
Cherith watched her sister as she walked right past her, entering her room and slamming the door.
Mystic Grill.
Alaric is sitting at the bar, drinking, when Damon walks and sits at the counter. He then turns in Damon's direction and the two make brief eye contact.
"Bourbon."
Damon said to the waiter who nods and Alaric turned away, the memory of his wife in his mind.
Alaric suddenly recognized Damon as the vampire who killed Isobel.
He sets his drink on the bar, his hand visibly trembling as anger grew in him at being in the presence of his wife's murderer.
Hi guys!
So I saw some concerns about me following the storyline. It's mainly because Cherith is just realizing her powers so there's not much she can influence as of now.
She's still a rather snarky 15 years old who's super brilliant and can be a pain.
Even when she realizes her powers, it'll take a while for her to know more after all, a Scarlet Witch is something that doesn't just happen.
And if you notice, I'm setting her up to leave for college soon, it doesn't mean she'll miss a lot but she has her storyline too for finding out a lot about who she really is and of course, her mother's side of the family.
So please, bear for now and enjoy the slight chaos she brings with just her words.
Thank you!
