Beth cradled Judith as she walked around the prison yard. She needed something to distract her from Daryl, he had left early in the morning.

She had woken up in her own bed that morning, she thought at first that it might have been a dream but beside her bed on her table was one of his arrows and she knew he must of carried her in there this morning.

She smiled at the thought of last night, they had become even more closer and she was loving every bit of it.

Judith made a small noise that caused Beth to leave her thoughts and look down at the baby who was dribbling. Beth smiled and wiped it away "You hungry are you?" she asked sweetly and started walking back inside.

She walked past Carl and Michonne on her way and smiled at the way that Carl looked like as if he was struggling. That wasn't what Beth was normally like but after what Carl had said to her, she couldn't help herself from smiling slightly.

She made her way into the common room and saw that Carol was sat there with a bottle next to her "I guessed she would be hungry soon" Carol said when she saw Beth's questionable look.

Beth smiled softly and thanked Carol before sitting down next to her and gave Judith her bottle. The room was filled with a comfortable silence until Carol broke it.

"You worried about Daryl?" she asked.

Beth was of course very worried but because her and Daryl wanted to play their relationship a secret she just shrugged "A little" she answered trying to keep her voice void of emotion.

Carol smiled at her reply. Maybe Beth really didn't act on her little crush she was thinking until she saw something in Beth's eyes and knew that there was something more there than what she said.

"Well I'm sure he will come back in no time, he is only getting medicine after all" Carol commented.

'I hope your right' Beth thought to herself as she carried on feeding the baby.

Daryl had made it to the a chemist that wasn't too far away from the shops that he went on his killing rampage. He came across two walkers but took care of them with ease. He was currently stuffing a bag full of painkillers and antibiotics.

He was surprised that this place seemed untouched but he wasn't complaining. When he had finished getting all the medicine supplies and was on his way out the store, he passed a fridge full of bottled water. He looked into his bag and saw that he still had room so he put 10 bottles of water inside the bag filling it up, on his way past the counter he saw packets of condoms on the side. He thought of last night and thought it be safe to get some just in case next time she is ready so he picked up a handful, put them in his pocket and then left the store.

As he walked out he stopped in horror of what he saw. It was the same SUV that he saw just before he went back to the prison. He saw that it was empty and quickly dashed behind a local abandoned car searching the area for the people that came in the SUV.

He heard voices coming from his right and saw the exact same people that killed that girl he saw.

'What are they doing out here?' Daryl thought as he saw them walk closer to the SUV, both men had the same weapons on them as they did before.

"So what you think?" the tall one with a machine gun asked.

The shorter one looked around "I don't know, doesn't look like anyone's around here" he said while holding his handgun at his side.

They started making their way to the SUV "Well that's not fun, we need to find more people to hunt" the tall one said with that evil smile he had the last time Daryl saw them.

By now Daryl had already set the bag of supplies on the floor and had gotten his crossbow off his back and ready to go.

The second man looked around yet again, Daryl was sure he was expecting something "I know, after we found that other women we haven't had anyone else yet" the shorter man said "but don't worry we will have someone real soon" he said and looked in Daryl's direction.

Daryl was sure that he was looking at him but then he felt a gun on the back of his head "Easy now, put down your weapon and stand up slowly" the man holding a gun to Daryl's head said calmly "Kyle, Dave I got him" the man shouted.

Daryl cursed as he saw the two men walking over and he had no choice but to drop his crossbow and stand up slowly as he was told.

The two men made it over "Good work Sam" the tall man said to the guy standing behind Daryl.

"Thanks Kyle" he replied as they moved Daryl away from his things and into the middle of the road.

Daryl saw the third man and he was also tall except he didn't have black hair like the other tall guy, he had blonde. He had now figured out their names, the short one was Dave, the tall one was Kyle and the new guy was Sam.

Kyle and Sam were with Daryl while Dave went through the bag Daryl had "Well, well looks like a lot of medicine for one man" Dave said walking over leaving the bag and crossbow on the floor where Daryl had left them.

He walked up to Daryl so they were face to face "You got a camp of people waiting for you boy" he spat at Daryl but Daryl didn't even seemed fazed. He was not going to be intimidated by these ass holes.

"None of your fucking business" Daryl spat back at him. Dave smirked and nodded towards Kyle who punched Daryl in the face sending Daryl to the floor, he hated to admit it but that had hurt.

"Want to try and answer me again?" asked Dave looking down at Daryl.

Daryl got to his knees, he could feel blood in his mouth "Like I said, none of your fucking business" he repeated but this time Sam kicked Daryl in the side of the head sending him to the ground again.

"Seems like we got a fighter here" Dave said as he bent down and put his gun to Daryl's head "Now you mean to tell me that no-one would miss you if we pulled this trigger?" he asked.

Daryl was now bleeding from a cut on his head and the blood was running down his face "That's right, I'm all alone so pull the fucking trigger and end my life in this hellish world" Daryl said sternly hoping they wouldn't call his bluff but as tough as he was he wouldn't be able to out fight all three of them.

To his surprise Dave's face lost his sick smile and he removed his gun from Daryl's face "Your not what were looking for then" he said, disappointment in his voice.

Daryl looked confused and got back to his knees swaying a little "What you mean?" he tried to sound fierce but he was feeling dizzy from his mini beating and was trying not to show it.

"Ya see we like to find and capture a couple. Then we take them back to our little town and let one of them go and then we hunt them and kill them" he said with the sick smile back on his face.

Daryl didn't want to know but he had to ask "What do you do with the other one?" he asked.

"That's the best bit, we tell them that we had a change of heart and they can leave then we shove them in a room with one of them zombies and watch the fun begin" he said again laughing slightly.

Daryl felt sick but also at the same time angry. These people were something else, they took away someone close to a person and then gets there hopes up only to shove them in a room with a walker. Daryl's hands turned to fists. His body suddenly feeling ready for a fight.

"Hey Dave are you sure its ok to tell him all this?" Kyle asked with a slightly nervous voice.

Dave just smiled "Of course it is, seeing as he hasn't got anyone we will have some more fun with him" he said and then shot Daryl in the shoulder.

Daryl flew backwards and hit the ground hard. He was gritting his teeth hard, determined not to scream out in pain but the truth was he had never been in so much pain in his life. Blood began pouring out, covering his top in a red dye.

"Get in the truck boys, were going home" Dave said and the other two wasted no time in doing as they were told.

Daryl was on the ground riving in pain. Dave knelt down next to him "I hope you live, there's nothing like knowing there is someone out there who wants revenge on you and I hope you act on it" he said in a sickening tone. Daryl was glaring at the man and Dave could see fire in Daryl's eyes and he knew that Daryl would look for him if he lived so Dave got up and then got in the truck.

"Are you sure we shouldn't kill him or follow him to see if he goes anywhere?" Sam asked as Dave got in the truck.

"No, I done exactly what I wanted and we leave him to do what he wants but we will be seeing him again soon. I hope" he said and then drove off.

It was now getting dark, Daryl had yet to come back and Beth was completely swept with fear and worry now. It was meant to be a simple run, he would be there and back in no time. Something had to have gone wrong.

She was standing in the prison yard, on a small hill and was staring at the road that led to the prison. She was so consumed in her own thoughts that she didn't even know that Maggie was now standing beside her.

"Beth?" she asked causing Beth to come from her thoughts. She turned around and was met with her sister, Maggie immediately recognised the sad look on her sisters face and went into overprotective mode.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"Daryl's not back yet and I'm really worried, something must of happened" Beth said worry laced all over her voice.

Maggie gave a sad smile, she knew that Daryl shouldn't of taken this long and she herself was worried a little bit but she didn't think Beth would take it this hard. They were only training together.

"I'm sure he is fine, its Daryl. He can take care of himself" Maggie said giving her sister a smile trying to comfort her. Beth gave a fake smile back, she just couldn't ignore this feeling she had in her chest that something was wrong.

Maggie noticed the fake smile and sighed "Tell you what, if he isn't back tomorrow me and Glenn will go look for him ok?" she asked and this time Beth gave a genuine smile.

"Thank you" Beth said back hugging her sister. As they were about turn and go inside the sound of a motorbike tore through the quiet air.

Beth felt her whole being brighten up at seeing the bike "See what did I tell you" Maggie said smiling at her sister.

The two sisters watched as Tyreese opened the gate for Daryl but something was wrong, he wasn't slowing down. He made it to the concrete area but instead of stopping he just drove into a wall and fell off the bike.

Beth and Maggie were the first two to reach him and he looked like a train had hit him. He was unconscious, he had cuts and bruises all over his face, he was as white as a ghost and he was covered head to toe in blood.

Maggie wasted no time and ran inside to get help while Beth knelt down and cupped his face in her hands and began crying over the state he was in.

I in NO way, shape or form own the walking dead.
