There were hardly any words to describe the way how Kazuma was feeling.

He was broken, sad, and overall felt there was no hope for him in the near future that would include things such as friends.

It wasn't until earlier today did Kazuma got a sudden surprised visit from Touya that on behalf of everyone, ranging from him, Otonashi, Sora, Shiro, and more importantly Naofumi, their friendship was over.

Confused, Kazuma demanded to know why, but Touya merely dodged the question by saying it's for his own good, which he assumed to be him gently telling him that they were fed up with him.

What didn't help was Subaru's sudden arrival, who demanded to know why Kazuma looked exactly how he did the first time he viewed him with nothing but betrayal.

Jumping towards conclusion, Kazuma got into a fist fight with Subaru cursing and damning him and everyone else that this was all their fault, as he blame them for deciding to gang up on him and treat him like a pariah.

It wasn't until Touya got involved and restrained Kazuma, while yelling at Subaru to beat it, which he did.

From there Kazuma was ready to get into another fist fight with Touya, but all the guy needed to do was stand his ground and shove Kazuma back.

The act alone spoke volumes to him, as he didn't let Touya to apologize and explain the real situation that's going on.

Slamming the door behind him, Kazuma spent the next few hours just crying in his room, trying to keep himself hidden away from how bad his life turned around.

Right now, no matter how many layers of clothing he'd put on, or blankets he'd cover himself in, his body, but more importantly, remained cold and broken, with no possibility for it to ever heal at this point.

He was so tired of crying, he was tired of existing, he was spiraling down towards a path where he wished he had some sort of previous vice or dangerous insecurities he had in the past so he could go back and reflect on how bad he regrets quitting.

But now he was done of regrets, done with pain, done with loneliness, and being surrounded by the very people who had betrayed him, the ones he had called friends, made memories, and the hopes that they never have to return home, cause to return back home now, would mean saying goodbye to all these great people he had met.

Now no such thoughts existed, as he began to drag himself out of his room, with a long belt at hand, as he began to search for a chair.

With everything in place, with the belt tightly secured on a ceiling hook as it was around his neck, Kazuma was now mentally prepared himself to finally go to the great beyond.

Never a stranger to death, Kazuma had no fears or regrets, but instead let out a smile since he remembered long ago from Chris that should he or anyone were to really die here, and weren't immortal, he'd be dead permanently.

Wouldn't that be nice, thought Kazuma as a single tear escape from his eye as he still retained a smile on his face, before he kicked the chair from under him.

Barely putting up a struggled or resistance, Kazuma remained patient as his heart race, the muscles on his neck were constricted, and his vision going blurry.

It was only a matter of seconds before he would have been confirmed dead, had it not been for Aqua, who had came back from doing some grocery shopping to see Kazuma was trying to commit suicide.

Even as she panicked over the situation, and in the most unorthodox and seriously dangerous way to save anyone that such an act alone would indefinitely kill anyone, Aqua was able to save Kazuma by adding her wait to snap him from the ceiling.

Not wasting any time, Aqua began to unwrapped the belt from Kazuma's neck as he began to heavily gasped for air as his vision came back to normal to see Aqua staring down on him intently with frustrating eyes.

"Wha… Aqua" asked Kazuma who was rather horse as he held his neck tightly, before Aqua threw herself on him.

"Stupid NEET, what the hell are you trying to do" demanded Aqua, as hearing that insulting name really irked Kazuma, to push Aqua off him.

"Something I should've done a long time ago" said Kazuma, "What are you talking about, you have never in your whole existence showed any signs of suicidal tendencies" said Aqua.

"Doesn't really matter, what matters is that I'd rather die than continue to live in a world where everyone hates me for one reason or another, while I'm treated as nothing more than a joke or a punching bag, and this time I know it'll be permanent" said Kazuma as hearing this seems to upset Aqua as she was welling up tears.

"Oh boy, you know what cry for all I care, just don't stop me this time" said Kazuma as he was ready to pick himself up, but was stopped when Aqua threw herself on top of him once more.

"You should care for yourself at the very least you idiot" cried Aqua as her insulting him, really wasn't helping the situation.

"Why should I care about myself, when none of you assholes do" said Kazuma angrily as he tried to remove Aqua off him, but she remained strong as tears and possibly snot stained his shoulder.

"But there are people who care about you" cried Aqua as she was starting to feel Kazuma's pain at long last, since this has been in a long time they had interacted since that incident from last week.

"Bullshit" exclaimed Kazuma as he was now trying harder to get Aqua off, but the goddess surprised him, but pinning him down to the floor.

"It's true, I worry about you more than anyone else" said Aqua as tear drops fell and landed on Kazuma's face.

"I love you, and seeing the one person, the very first person who's taken responsibility in making sure we had a roof over our head, and food in our bellies, and making sure that I or anyone else doesn't die, really trying to kill himself, kills me" said Aqua as she continued to cry for not only her, but Kazuma.

"Prove it, prove it to me right here and now that you honestly not only care about me, but value me as well" said Kazuma as his voice was a bit shaky as he thought truly his life held no meaning and that it was all about to come to an end.

To his surprise, Aqua could only show best sign of love and affection the only way she knew how, and that was to lean down and kiss him on the lips.

It was enough, it was enough for him to at least live for another day in this cruel unforgiving world as he now witnessed right before his very eyes that the one person he could ever truly call his friend from here on out and rely on, was the very first friend he had accompanying him in all of his most over the top adventures in recent time.

"Please Kazuma, don't do anything like that, and please realize that you're not alone in this world or at the very least realize that at least one person cares about you and your well being" sobbed Aqua as she continued to cry.

For some inexplicable reason, Kazuma himself beginning to cry as he repeatedly told Aqua he was sorry for the next half hour.

Finally with the strength to get up, Kazuma had returned back into his room with Aqua in toe where they both crawled into bed together, something they haven't done in a long time.

Except now it was more intimate, as Aqua held onto Kazuma dearly, as Kazuma's feelings of sadness, loneliness and the cold were put at rest now he was within comforting contact with someone he had always cared about, when all was said and done.

Right so I'm ending things right here, I only decided to right the next chapter now, before the Christmas special I'll be posting in a few weeks, simply because like I said from the beginning, this story was emotionally driven, based on my current mood and emotions recently, so I decided to put that into good use when writing this chapter at the very least.

Anyways, like I said next chapter is the holiday special, and after that my annual January 5th update, where I'll be telling you guys my future plans for these stories moving on into the new year and then some.

Until then guys, be safe, be good people, and please support your local fandom communities.
