Summary:

The Captain finally arrived and showed his way to Historia's personal quarters. Will Historia face the Captain after their daring night?

Notes:

Advance Happy Valentines Day Everyone! I failed to post last January since I have to edit the scenes again and again. Well, I hope you will enjoy this next chapter, because I had fun writing the scenes, and I just can't get enough.

Levi

He walked into the building without running to an MP or maid. Levi stormed the corridors towards the steps to the third floor, which were still quiet. Hitch was correct; the place was still deserted, allowing him to avoid confronting anyone here. So he'd better clear a path to Historia's location.

There are numerous hallways here, one of which leads to the staff quarters and another to the other side of the buildings, where libraries and function halls are located. Another corridor leads him to the royal palace. Where noble beings, such as the Queen herself, reside. West Wing.

Unfortunately, Levi must pass through the library to get to the west wing, so he must first pass through the maidens' hall, where maids do their laundry. Levi walked deliberately down the path, following the two maids who were too preoccupied to notice him. But he just stood back and listened to what they were saying.

"Yes, she said she wanted to be alone for a while and to start her day earlier; don't you think it's strange?" one maid asked, carrying fabrics in her arms.

"I find it odd too, I heard she's not that interested in her books, but she came from the orphanage all the way here, she's not that excited to take her class that early, and her professor's still sleeping right now," the other maid said quietly.

Levi simply rolled his eyes. Of course, that's not true; Historia is doing everything she can to study; she's even reading the book Military Code of Conduct and attempting to memorize every paragraph of it.

Tch...

As the two maids were busy chitchatting while passing the hallway, Levi managed to follow them quietly and took the stairs towards the second floor.

The place is quiet as he trailed the red-carpeted hallway; he passed the white corridors with carved edges, until he reached the door of the library. The hallway was wide and the shadows of the windows added shade to the area, Levi can tell that all the people who lived here were still sitting on the sides of their beds with drools on the side of their mouths...

It's still early, so he won't be able to meet anyone on the way. However, as he passed through the library's door, he heard voices inside the room. He came to a halt when he heard clear voices.

"We went to her house and found her grandfather; it's confirmed they're both her Majesty's relatives on her mother's side, we don't have any information about their other relatives, but they're the only close bloodline to Historia." said a young man.

Levi's brow furrowed. What could have been the problem with these people trying to find out about Historia's past, Historia's ancestor on the other side? She hadn't told them about it before.

"Did you ever find her?" an old man's voice inquired.

"No but we saw her outside the palace today and one of our men caught her, so we took her to the dungeons for a word."

Levi squared his jaw and nodded, wondering who the people on the other side were. He was always aware that there were still hypocrites living behind these partitions, and that many of them were plotting something behind the Queen's back.

That's one of the reasons he doesn't want Historia to set foot in this filthy place. She'd never fit in here.

Otherwise, they will never be able to fit around her.

"So, what did you do to the old man?" the old jerk inquired. Levi was just standing outside the door. He's facing down the floor, hands in his pockets, waiting for a response, with that blank foul expression on his face. This appeared to be a piece of amusing news for him.

These people didn't even bother to talk quietly while plotting their demise.

"He said he wanted to talk to you about negotiating, so we didn't bother getting him; he said he'll be waiting for you."

Levi exhaled as those words filled his ears.

Another snub in the a$$. But he's not sure he believes it, and who are these people they're talking about? Who is there in the dungeon?

"Wonderful. I'd heard rumors about that old hag. He once wrote me a letter, but he stopped after they caught Historia. He managed to keep his profile low."

Levi raised his head and stared straight ahead at the pathway, his eyes fixed and sharp.

So the relatives do exist, and Frigoz didn't even bother to inform Historia of this.

All of that information was more than enough for him to remember. He walked down the corridor away from the library door, intending to go to the Queen's quarters.

He felt sorry for Historia. His grandfather turns out to dislike her as well, and a new problem is about to emerge as a result of the closure of the nobles. For the time being, he can't keep an eye on Historia because he still has Survey Corps responsibilities. And he realized he couldn't give a shit anymore. As he previously stated, he will no longer care for her to avoid deeper involvement...

So. . .

He has to see her right now.

Moments had passed, and now he entered Historia's spare room beside her quarter. It's a living room. Right at the other corner, a floral printed blue couch with a golden sculpted leaning frame, a center table made of see-through glass, white tiles, huge curtains of green at the windows, and plain cream-colored walls. A chandelier with sparkly teardrop beads and red, peach white roses in it, luxurious and elegant suite that only rich nobles can have.

But even a mere person can determine what kind of person is living here. This is the grandest suite he has ever seen in Mitras. Historia should be thankful to them.

Now he saw another door in here. And for sure, it's the Queen's bedroom. Levi sighed as he felt a slight pressure on his chest, thinking that he should near the door.

It's time to see her. And is he ready?

He went to the wooden door that connects to Historia's quarters and stood there for a moment. He's staring at the golden doorknob, thinking twice if he should knock and notify her that he's here?

Well, if he notifies her that he's here to see her, she will only ignore him for sure. So maybe he should just open the door and get inside.

Now the idea of confronting her this time made him think that maybe he should just come back some other time. Maybe there's no need for him to see her because she may think how pathetic he was for coming after her. What will she say? Will she slap him? What if she calls for the guards and accuses him of being such a pervert.

Crap... what if she turned the table around.

He doesn't want to knock at the door yet. His heart thumps against his chest, he is breathing slow as he stared at the blank canvass of the door, imagining that Historia was there on the other side, staring at the door too.

He imagined her, blue eyes looking at him, troubled and begging him to stick around whenever he visits her here in Mitras. May it was not his duties that wanted him to stay; maybe it was the bond between them.

And maybe it wasn't the bond after all. Maybe it was all because he was too attracted by her charms. The way she talked to him very sweetly and innocent. The way she sounded so dependent on him. These things flavored the truth that he's too old for fantasizing about a living deity.

He's not immune to her beauty. Tch, and here been doing everything to conceal it all this time.

Until that damn dream.

What will he tell her in the first place when he sees her eyes? Seriously? If it's not about the upcoming conflict, what else can he say to her to excuse himself about last night?

He moved one arm and formed a fist to knock on the door, but as he did that he felt his heart was beating fast and his guts were curling towards his sternum until he can't stand it. He can't get his hands to knock on the door. He can't move them.

Levi sighed and he turned away from the door catching his breath.

What's with this anxiety?

Levi starts to walk in the room back and forth. Brushing his hands to his undercut, rubbing his palm on his sweating temple, in despair to walk out and just forget everything.

Then out of a fucking blue, he remembered how her lip brushed his mouth. It was the softest and sweetest kiss he had ever tried, it looked like her lips doesn't just look so sweet but they also tasted sweeter. Suddenly the dark memories about his childhood in the underground went all white and the heavy feeling inside him disappeared.

She's not a nightmare.

It was a dream. A good dream.

But he doesn't deserve it. The feeling that he felt right now feels like not intended for him and the only thing that made him feel so bad about that dream was there was no light in the room. He couldn't see her naked, but he can feel how she moves above him, her damn beautiful moans when he thrust inside her. it was like no other. it was special yet very dangerous and daring.

And he never thought that she was great in bed. It was so perfect and he just wanted more--. . . .

He gritted his teeth and face palmed.

Maybe coming here was not a good idea.

He can't do this, maybe it's better to turn back and pretend nothing happened. But after what happened last night, he can't face her anymore. He has to draw a line and keep his distance from the Queen.

Then he heard something from the other side of the room. His heart stopped and tried to focus his ears from Historia's bedroom. There was a little noise from the bedroom, small footsteps. He recognized those footsteps, it's her footsteps.

Levi paused for a moment and tried to calm himself. He can do this. There's no going back or he will just end up getting embarrassed.

He has to do this, make everything clear once and for all.

Because he needed to go back to be a Scout, make paper works, kick some scouts during training, watch out for Eren and train his new Squad brats.

He doesn't belong to the Queen, so he must face her, whether he likes it or not. He must let her know that he doesn't belong around her anymore. He cannot stick his ass around here anymore.

He went back and stood at the door and tried to gather his composure. He fixed his black suit, slightly kicked his legs to ready himself. He swiped his hair.

And without ado, he knocked twice. He tried his best not to make his heart thump, so he will not get anxious when he sees her. He waited after he made another two knocks.

One, two, three, four, five. . . .

No one answered him from the other side. but he heard a thud from the furniture, like opening a closet.

He knocked again, counting numbers silently.

But no one answered him; maybe the young Queen was being stubborn again and hid in the closet. tch, she's very childish so he placed his hands on the doorknob and turned it.

One, two, three, four, five. . . .

It's not locked.

He opened it and was about to step in when he met two blue round orbs standing from the other side. he caught his breath, not expecting her to be standing in the way.

H-histo--ria. . .

His thoughts as he landed his eyes on her in full view. The door is wide open and they were now staring at each other. She was half-naked and he can't help but notice her curved hip, slender arms, and pearly white complexion. Her hair was blazing gold with water droplets. Fuck, she looked like a living Goddess being disturbed in her hideout. His heart beats so hard like it will be about to explode. And with the remaining courage he has, he tried to use his usual tone.

"We need to talk." He tried to stand still and kept his expression unreadable while looking at her awed face.

"C--Captain Levi. . " her sweet voice flew in the air and it was like a song hearing her calling him out. Shit. What is happening to him? This is odd.

Then, the next thing he knew, she reached for the door and pushed it towards him.

Watching her closing the door was like in slow motion, as expected; Historia will refuse to talk to him. Now he wanted to turn around and just let her close the door, but the next thing he knew was that his fingers were hurting from being stuck in between the doors.

But why? All he has to do is to leave her alone. Leave Mitras and let it slide,

But he didn't. And it appeared that closing the door against his face had become her dreadful habit. He's aware that she's not dressed on the other side of the room, but after what he's been through, he didn't care anymore.

He won't let her go away. Naked or not, he's going to let himself see her.

"Close it and I will tear this door open." He snarled as he was fighting for the sake of his freakin' fingers!

"Move your hand!"

"I said we need to talk." He pushed the door back.

"I need to dress up." He kept his eyes in between the doors to see her trembling from the other side.

"Does it look like I care after what we've done?"

"We can talk some other time" she requested.

He hissed as his hands ached. He understood that she was not ready to face him yet, but so was him! He chickened out at the last minute, but He doesn't have time to fritter away. After all, he already knows what will happen. He sneaked in here and got a chance to avoid an MP, but despite all of his courage, his heart was racing as he saw Historia's flushed and scarlet face...

"Then what's wrong about today, while everything is still fresh." Of course, he just spent the night with her having sex. And he couldn't just ignore everything about her right now in this small cracked door.

"I can't. . ." her weight is blocking the door and he can't just push her with one force. He doesn't want to harm her.

"Face me right now, or I'll do it by force," he asked calmly, even though his fingers were hurting. He didn't lose his cool. "And I mean it, kid." Levi tries to warn her if she will not stop right now, then he's afraid that he will make her stop. And it will not be smooth or in a gentle way...

For a brief moment, he pondered whether she could ever forgive him for what he was doing right now... It may sound absurd, but he doesn't want to leave the place empty-handed. He risked everything, including his squad members, to get here, and failure was not in his vocabulary.

Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Historia ceased to resist.

She remained motionless on the other side. However, he can still feel her bare shoulders brushing against the tips of his calloused hands on the edge of the door. Then he felt her move away from him, and then the door between the two of them suddenly opened.

Revealing her once more, with eagerness and courage. Her other arm is on her chest, gripping the towel fabric against her cleavage. Her hair was damp, and there were small water drops on her arms. Levi couldn't help but stare at her.

His guts twisted upon the sight. She's too thin and too. . .

Exposed. He's not used to seeing her like this, and fuck, he was distracted.

Levi swallowed as he tried to exhale, pressing his inner amazement by her beauty. He was nailed to the ground from where he stood. Her dazzling blue orbs were staring back at him.

Levi froze and his esophagus went dry as a moment of silence passed between the two of them, and he could see how her small hands adjusted at the hems of the white towel... as if avoiding it to fall on the floor.

Historia coughed, attempting to break Levi's stare. He shook for a moment as he blinked several times and looked at her. For God's sake, he lost his stern.

Fuck! What exactly did he just do?

Shit. This is no time to feel embarrassed.

Historia was waiting for him to talk, her face was expecting and like a child staring at him. He was about to say something when he heard the doorknob from which he had entered suddenly shuffling. He looked behind him to see the door, and Historia noticed it as well and tried to angle her head to sneak in. Levi's heart leaped as she moved a little closer to his chest.

He can smell her soap from where she is standing, and he has never been so sensitive to it. She cleaned up and Levi wished he could also wash up.

Then, all of a sudden, the door behind Levi began to shake, as if someone from the outside was attempting to enter.

"Do they know that you're here inside my room?" She panicked as she asked him.

"Am I allowed here?" He sarcastically replied with a question. She's just right against his chest, and he can see how her expression changed as she realized how close she was to him. She frowned and looked at him from head to toe to conceal her anxiousness.

"What?! Are you kidding me, Captain?!!" She snarled to him with a sudden annoyance and alarm. Her eyes were terrified as Levi was about to speak and open his mouth, Historia had already grabbed his arm and drew her into her quarters. She slammed the door as Levi's chest brushed against her shoulders, allowing him to enter her room, where her bed was covered in white shiny fabric and large pillows. A large bouquet of red and pink flowers was placed beside her bed, along with lamps and cream-colored walls.

He just frowned at how quickly things happened. He cast a glance at Historia, who was leaning against the door, her index finger resting on her lip as a sign that they needed to be quiet this time. Levi was confused about her actions.

Not just long ago, she was willing to cut his hands in between these doors, but now, she pulled him here, until he heard a loud thud from the other room, followed by the sound of plates and trays.

When someone walked into the living room, Historia and Levi just stared at each other. He drew his eyes to her features, studying her. Her face was too small and almost doll-like. Her round blue eyes were magnetizing and her blonde hair was a little messy since she needed to comb it after taking a bath.

Someone then knocked on their door.

"Your Majesty, are you all right? Your breakfast is ready."

From the other side of the room, an elderly man spoke.

Bollocks. . Levi snarled in his mind. He suddenly felt alarmed and eyed Historia whose eyes were in deep anxiety. He placed his index finger on his lip to tell her that they have to be careful. He knew that voice.

It's fucking Frigoz damn Berk. The jerk head he hated the most in the royal staffs. And his voice sounds familiar. Like it's one of the voices that he heard when he passed the library today.

"Yes, Mr. Frigoz," she replied, biting her lip as her eyes and lashes flickered. Historia's other hand was still gripping Levi's arm when she pulled him in much to Levi's surprise.

He looked at her youthful face and wondered what these cretins were up to behind her back. Did she know that her non-royal relatives still exist? And one of them is currently imprisoned in the dungeon.

"You just shut the door when I came in; do you want anything else besides your breakfast?"

Levi no longer trusts the meal they prepared for her.

"No, thank you," she said as she looked at him. Levi looked Historia in the eyes.

How can he convey everything to her in a single word? That he was tired of dealing with her and had had enough of her stubbornness. Then he admits that he's attached to her, but she never fails to irritate him, and there are times when he just wants to stay where she's at and watch the people around her move. He's calm when he's with her during soft times. He tried to keep his personal life separate from his responsibilities to her, but he just can't. He can't leave her alone even as he takes a step back away from her. Then now he appeared in her bedroom. So screwed up.

"I just heard Captain Levi arrived; would you like him to join you in your breakfast so I can tell everyone to direct the Captain to come straight here, or do you prefer to eat in the dining hall?"

In this huge room with the morning glimmer from the windows, her blue eyes stood out. His rage vanished as he trailed his gaze down to her nose, then to her flushed cheeks, and her heart-shaped mouth with that perfect curve that draws her jaws.

They locked eyes with each other and Levi's stomach is turning inside out as Historia looked at him with a nervous impression on her face.

She looked so innocent and for heaven's sake, beautiful with that lack of fabric on her body. As Levi can see how she glow up when more of her skin is revealed.

Amid their silence, the man called out, "Your Majesty?" It was like a bell that rang out of nowhere.

As the two of them separated their gazes and turned in different directions, he clenched his teeth and placed his fingers on the tips of his jaw. He must concentrate and avoid distractions. This was starting to feel awkward. Can't he just stop staring at her for a second?

Tch.

"Y-yes. Please tell him he can come here right away because I need to talk to him," she replied. It's thoughtful of her to invite him to breakfast. They'd never done anything like that before.

"Would you like him to come here to your living room?" Frigoz inquired.

She glances at him.

If only this old man knew that he was already here in her bedroom.

"Yes," she said.

While she's trying hard not to meet his eyes, Levi then noticed the dark spot on Historia's neck, just below her ears. It was hidden by her blonde hair, but Levi couldn't help but notice the oddly colored spot.

"All right, my lady, as you wish, I will stand here and wait for him," the old man said.

Then Levi looked at her once again, feeling alarmed by what the old man said. Historia glanced at him. He shook his head to oppose. He wanted Frigoz to go away. Now Historia finally turned around so they were facing each other, but her eyes were on something else.

Not at him and he felt thankful.

Of course, this was another awkward moment for both of them. Trapped in her quarters.

Historia seemed to understand then said "You don't have to. The Captain can show his way here. Come back after thirty minutes."

Levi shook his head and whispered once more. . "For an hour"

For a brief moment, Historia fixed her gaze on him and nodded. "I'm taking about an hour."

The man on the other end then fell silent.

Levi simply squared his jaw while they both waited. Aren't they both looking pitiful?

"All right, Your Majesty, I'll wait an hour and return."

The old man finally agreed and walked towards the front door, while the two of them listened from the other side of the room until they heard the door from the living room close.

He returned his gaze to Historia's neck, brushing her hair aside to examine the mark on her neck. Just a few more inches and his chest will be touching Historia's body, but he can't think that way. He must distance himself from his emotions at this time.

"Wait, what's this?" He immediately leaned into Historia, inching his sight to her nape to that weird spot. Historia saw him thrust forward and Levi notice how she reacted when he moved closer to her.

"What?" She tensed and jerked back. But Levi has already moved to her shoulders, he swiped a few strands of her hair lightly to make a good look and noticed how she tremble a little with his light finger touch.

Despite this, he refuses to be at ease in this state, her fresh scent reaching the senses in his nose, and Levi failing himself once more. He had always liked how she smelled and being so close to her allowed him to secretly enjoy her sweet scent. It had the same effect on him as tea. Her scent was one of his favorites. No offense to what was going on at the time.

He kept his body away from Historia's, motivated by the anxiety he felt after discovering what was on her neck. He gritted his teeth and furrowed his brow.

When he got a good look at her neck, he realized his suspicion was correct, and he cursed himself for being so careless with her...

"Great," he snarled, turning away from Historia, realizing he was screwed. He shifted his gaze away from her, away from her strong soap scent, and toward the windows. Away from her exposed pearly white skin. She still needs to dry her hair, and Levi feels bad about entering her room while she isn't dressed.

"What did you see?" Historia asked nervously, her hand resting on her neck. Then she dashed to her mirror, which was right next to her closet, swiping her hand through the air and sending a wave of flowery scent Levi's way. He can even feel the air moving around him, which sends shivers down his spine.

Levi averted his gaze, concerned about how she would react. Is she even aware of what she's looking at? Will she ask him again how it's made? Levi's immortal conscience will devour him if she is innocent.

Levi closed his eyes in embarrassment when he heard her murmur, "A kiss mark?" How the hell did she know what it is at her age? "Captain.—"

"Don't ask me how it's made," he said, his gaze averted from Historia.

"How am I supposed to hide this?" she wondered, her fingers brushing against the kiss mark on her neck. Her voice became shaky, and Levi wondered if she was crying again. She is not deserving of this. He never intended to do such a thing to her, even though he was so harsh on her.

"You should have considered that before you decided to join me in my bed," he snarled.

"I joined you? I'm not insane," she retorted defensively.

"If you're not out of it, why are you here? Did you ever think before you dash out of the orphanage?" Levi's glare darkened. "Did you even realize you were putting us in this situation? What are you doing here?"

"Of course, I have commitments," she explained, avoiding his gaze. So she simply lied.

"Don't dare use that on me; you fled while it was still dark, after what happened between us, and you don't care about the danger you might face if you come here alone."

"I don't have time for this; please leave," she said, looking guilty and pouting. It made her appear more stubborn as if she was refusing to admit her error, even though it was written all over her face.

"Kid, did you have any idea what you just did last night?" He gritted his teeth and side-eyed her as he spoke. His concern for her, and, of course, he felt bad now that he knew what was written on her neck.

"Excuse me, Captain; I don't know what's going on. I just woke up on top of you... na—ked," she said the last word hesitantly, regretting it coming out of her mouth.

"That was the stupidest answer I've ever heard in my entire life, Historia; how many times did I remind you that you're too young to sleep with a man?" he huffed, fist clenched. He's not entirely convinced about her reasons.

"Unfortunately, you overlooked the fact that that man was—-"

"You're too young for this, and I'm sick of hearing your excuses," he interjected between her words.

"Don't act like you're not the man I slept with last night," she said, her eyes narrowed.

"So why does it have to be me?" he wondered.

Why does it have to be him out of all the people? If she is going to date someone, she should at least date someone her age.

"I didn't choose you." She replied defensively with a frown.

With a sad expression on her face, the Queen looked down at the floor. "This conversation is pointless; I don't know how I got here; I never wished for this; I never wished to be involved."

Were they just being used? Is someone to blame for the creation of this scene?

"Were you drunk? I saw alcohol in your study, hidden inside your shelf," he inquired.

"Why will I drink in the first place?" she sarcastically replied, raising one brow.

"So, what happened? You drew yourself to me while I was napping in the room, and you took advantage —"

"Don't tell me you were too tired to mark me on my neck?" she demanded. That smacked him square in the face.

Of course, that was his error. He thought she was an illusion, so he used his talent to create one. What a disgrace.

Again.

But how the hell will he react to her? He dismissed it as a dream.

"I'm just a man; our instincts as humans control us even when we're not aware of it; I'm asleep, so I thought it was a dream."

"You were half-awake last night, but confused, which explains why you didn't stop, because you thought it was a random dream," she proudly defended herself. Levi scowled, his hands on his hips, trying not to show any reaction to what she had just said. She saw an opportunity to logically attack him. Even in this heated debate, her tone was too gentle. But, for how many times, that gentle small voice knows how to throw words back at him? And he was always unable to avoid it.

"Are you not disturbed by it? There might be something going on? Why are we both acting like that? From what I observed, it sounded like there's something off about the causes of it." She moved her hands to swipe a hair on her face.

He was out of his mind last night, so maybe there's something else they can blame him for. That nothing was done on purpose and that they were simply influenced by something. Something like a tea, coffee, or a similar beverage . . . food...

But how the hell will that be possible?

He remembered how Petra appeared, and that brat. It was a nightmare, the worst one. But what triggered it? He never heard about something that could give nightmares as an effect.

"I'm not sure what you're suspecting," he said, his tone returning to normal. "But I don't have time for this nonsense; since it's already happened, we should make things clear here," he said as he turned to face Historia from the other side of the room, their gazes meeting. "There are no strings attached," he stated emphatically.

Because of the light that escaped the room's walls, the color of her eyes changed to a bright sky blue. Everything about her is lovely, but her eyes stand out as the morning grew older.

"No strings. . ." she began to repeat what he said. As if she's still having a hard time understanding.

"Don't take it seriously, because I'm not into you. Just bear that in mind." He declared while staring straight at her childish gaze. Then suddenly Levi felt weird inside. Something feels off about what he just said. But that was what he wanted to say.

Then he's not into her.

He made it sure before he spoke those words while looking at her lovely features. He's not into her.

"It didn't mean anything to me either, let's pretend it didn't happen."

"Hmm." He hummed as he leaned on the wall that was between the two windows. He was still facing Historia but he tried to stare at the floor "Sounds good to me."

"Then we finally reached with an understanding." She replied with eagerness and confronted him. "Did we?"

Levi went silent. Although they already made it clear that last night was just a mistake, he still felt that he needs to be sure about this with the Queen. He must be sure that once they end this conversation, there will be no more problems in the future.

He tried to glance at the Queen across him.

Studying her mood.

He hoped that what he will ask her next will not ruin make her furious. But he has to ask her.

"Historia. . . ." he began.

But fuck, how can he ask her properly? He tried asking this kind of thing to Petra before, but that was completely a different story. He was hesitating to say something to her, but as time goes by, he have to give it a shot.

She raised her head and turned to him with a rose-blushed face and Levi wanted to know if what made her react like that? Is it because of him or is it because she's too embarrassed?

"When was your last period?" he asked, even though it was a shameful question.

"Excuse me?" Historia looked at her, stunned.

Historia

She knew that he was avoiding her sight but he can still feel that he was telling a glance from afar. His eyes were lingering, studying her movement.

She felt trapped. His presence doesn't seem to give comfort to her anymore, unlike in old times. Right now, she thought of him as someone that she wants to avoid seeing. She doesn't want to talk about what happened last night but right now, she has no other place.

"When did you last have your period?"

Historia froze and exhaled in surprise as she heard his question.

All her life, no guy had ever asked about her monthly periods. She was aware that the menstrual cycle has something to do with childbearing and family planning, but she never expected to be asked such a question by the Captain. She can only share this personally with Sasha or Ymir. But not with a guy.

Especially to Captain Levi.

"Excuse me?" Historia asked.

"Don't mind if I ask," he said flatly while rolling his eyes.

Historia's tongue was tied, he didn't even hesitate?

"I thought we're done talking about this." She felt her cheeks warm. She expected him to go away after they agreed to forget everything.

Honestly, she even wanted him to apologize for the kiss mark. He was rough last night, and he kept on acting like it was not a big deal to place a kiss mark on a Queen. Can he just show her a little respect right now?

"I don't think we're done here. Unless, of course, you wanted to get pregnant. I hope you know if you're at your safe day or not." He replied shutting her with that dangerous look.

Pregnant? Historia's stomach turned just thinking about it. Of course, he doesn't want to make another woman get pregnant while his previous girlfriend just died pregnant last two months. What does he mean about a safe day?

"What do you mean? You're going to cross the line of you keep on insisting. . ." she mumbled in protest.

"I believe that I already crossed the line here." He barely replied. Now he's crossing his arms and glanced at him. His dark demeanor again showed up, précising his eyes with small black irises. He always looked like this. Unapproachable as always.

"Then tell me," he didn't hesitate and it made Historia want to hide under her blanket. She felt cold already in her towel. "I've been through this before, so you better trust me." The Captain said.

Historia moved towards the bed. She needs to sit because this may take a while. She can't wear her clothes until Captain Levi goes out.

She sat on the bed, and the smooth silk cover gave warmth against her thighs. She looked at Captain Levi across her. It looked like he was not in hurry, and he puts effort to catch up with her in time here.

"You're out of your mind. I won't answer that." She glared

"Don't forget that you're also part of this. If you're not going to tell me anything, it will cause a major problem."

"I'm not going to tell you!" How can he be so naive? It's personal stuff for women.

The Captain sighed and placed his fingers on his forehead and pressed his temples.

"I'm only asking to prevent you from getting pregnant, after this, I swear to the walls that I won't get in your way."

"And if I tell you, can you promise me that you won't bother me again? Not a word about this to anyone and with me?" Historia

"I also have plans. I can't afford to walk out here without knowing if I'm going to make you pregnant or not. This situation is similar to what happened to me and with Petra. So you have to answer me, when was your last period, so that we can tell if you're about to get pregnant or not."

Historia went silent and think it over.

He mentioned Petra again and shared something about how their relationship went before, and why did he say that this was similar to his experience before? What did he mean by that? She admits that she's too young for this, and all she could ever think was that her role as a queen is enough to live life to the fullest. She thought that she won't get into trouble like usual teenagers, but it turns out that trouble always appears no matter what role you have in the world. If you're stubborn then you can't get away from causing trouble. Just like what happened last night.

So she has to grow up and act according to his age or even, according to her role. She needs to be mature to deal with Captain Levi.

Historia stood up and placed her hands on her front to avoid the towel falling on the floor. The Captain raised his eyes and followed her every movement. She walked past him and walked towards her closet. She felt the weight of his stare; it was a lingering, pressing, and burning stare. She felt how he drew that breath when she thought that her scent always reach him. She felt him looking away to push the malice away. Just like a grown-up gentleman. He tries to suppress his hidden desire for her.

He's a liar. He's into her, and Historia can feel that from the start. They developed something together, and she can always feel that he's holding back. She reached her closet. She opened it pulled out underwear and upper undergarment. She knew that he was looking at where she was and that he saw what she took out.

But again, what's the use of hiding it all when he already said that he's not into her. He's a big fat liar. If that is so, maybe showing him more won't affect him when all he sees about her is just a kid. He doesn't have feelings and he's not attracted to her. She shook her head. You would do anything if the person you liked is in your dreams. And she's not that stupid! And it hurts her.

So she only wants this to end. He just stood there quietly as Historia turned around and placed her garments on her bed.

"Two weeks ago." Historia tried to be subtle as she reached for her closet and get some clothes. Today's activity will be held at the library, so she will wear a white shirt and white pants. She doesn't have to wear the red cape just like what she's wearing during coronations and events.

She glanced at the Captain whose eyes were still on her, and Historia can't help but be conscious in front of him. His youthful face tells her that she's special. That look on his face made Historia think that no one has ever looked at her like that. He's just avoiding her to get attached to him.

"Then you're a long way from not getting pregnant," he replied pausing his steely eyes on her. That look doesn't seem to show that he's not affected by her sight. So she wondered again, curious at some point why is he not looking away.

"Great. Now, please go. I need to change," she said and pulled her towel away, revealing all of her body in front of him.

She looked at him whose eyes went to look at her whole body.

He touched her last night; he felt how tender her skin was. He already knew every corners of her body by simply exploring his hands.

Last night.

Be matured. Historia thought.

He's not into her and being naked in front of him won't change anything.

Historia looked down at her own body. She has light glowing skin, a fit body posture, with a medium-sized breast and not so hairy private parts. And she swears to the walls, she has no flaws under the clothes. And she's already taken by the Captain. She's not innocent anymore.

She looked at the man again.

And hell, he was looking straight at her. His eyes didn't move and the rest of his body went still. All she could see was how his throat swallowed a lump.

"Sorry, you can go out now if we're done talking. . ." she dared to put on a brave face, even if her heart was thumping behind her exposed breast.

The Captain didn't move from the other side of the room. Just his eyes looking at her, moving from her head to her bottom.

"How about the mess that you made this morning? The MPs will be questioning why you arrived unguarded." He flatly continued. "Your maids, the kids."

So he's not going out yet. Historia bit her lower lip in disappointment. Oh yeah, she left them behind, without thinking that she will put everyone in question.

"I assure you that there won't be a problem, I'm sorry."

Captain Levi ran his hands through his raven hair. He looked pale and tired as he breathed while Historia can see that the Captain's neck was sweating. "And. . ." he paused for a moment, moving his jaw with his troubled furrowed brows. She felt like she doesn't like what he was about to say next. She gulped...

"What about last night?" His voice was low and calm but there was another tone that she can't tell about how it sounds to her ears. She felt guilt. He just agreed to drop it off. What does he need right now?

Historia was paralyzed by the words.

"We agreed to forget about it, Captain." She placed her hands on her hips. The Captain looked at her. Their eyes met, and she can tell that he was obliged to go out now.

"You can't tell anybody about last night." he stood straight walked towards the door and turned his face away with that flat demeanor.

Historia breathed finally, knowing that he's going out now. When he reached for the door, he stopped. "And, I have one last thing to ask." He mumbled in a low voice. Historia suddenly stopped breathing after he said that.

A favor. . Suddenly Historia felt nervous. She's standing still and didn't bother to cover her naked body. The Captain's eyes were maybe without by her sight. And now, what favor does he want from her?

Historia waited from where she stood, her eyes were only on the Captain of the Survey Corps while all the things in her peripheral view can reach were shining like gems.

"What?" She replied.

"You can ask someone else in the scouts to assist you. But don't call for me; I'm too occupied to deal with your shits, Your Majesty. Hope not to see you around, I'm done here."

Then he opened the door and slammed it. Her knees went numb as her raising heart began to relax. But her mind was in complete chaos. The last words. He doesn't want to deal with her anymore? Does this mean that they have to distance themselves from each other?

She huffed and smirked. Feeling annoyed about how cocky he was after giving her a kiss mark. He acted like he was the offended party. Well, he's wrong. Why can't he just admit their mistake?

"So be it." She gritted her teeth he's ending this in an unfriendly way, then okay. ,

She will never deal with him again.

In the Dungeon

The MPs are dragging her downstairs, it was dark but with the light of the torch, she can see an endless staircase. They had been walking for almost five minutes and she thought that the dungeons seem always so deep down below?

Mandy didn't try to resist as the three-man escorted her. One male MP was on the lead with the torch, and two male Mp was walking beside her, her hands were cuffed and she have blood on her lower mandible. They knocked her out but that doesn't matter. What matters now is that she's inside the building and what's more interesting about coming here?

Historia just arrived a moment ago.

Mandy smirked.

Her plan worked.
