"Okay everyone! Are we nice and fed?" Inko asked, with everyone giving a small cheer of approval of her dinner.

"You bet," Gran Torino eagerly said as he wolfed down his meal.

"Mama's the best!" Izuku declared.

"Yeup yup!" Mina further affirmed the claim.

"I swear Inko, I'm impressed with how you cook, you really have to teach me how you do it?" Kokoro lamenting on her own cooking skills, with Tamoyo gently patting her leg while he finished up own plate.

"Oh stop it," Inko waved a way with a small blush.

"But it's true," Toshinori replied.

"This is amazing, how'd you get so good!?" Disco shouted.

"It is very scrumptious," Mirai added with a nod.

"Well, " Inko hesitated a little, "I used to have a 'little' problem with snacks until a while back," she said vaguely. After her son's diagnosis of being quirkless, Inko had blamed herself and it ended with her stress eating.

"Mommy ate a lot," Izuku said, causing Inko's body to twitch at his response, it also earned a giggle from Kokoro.

"Ah! But thanks to these two adorable little angels and friends that I was able to overcome it!" Inko quickly said as she ruffled both Izuku's and Mina's hair frantically before either of the two could say anything else. And it wasn't a lie either, the two and Kokoro were a huge help, though she was embarrassed by it. She still remembers the time when she begged her own son to let her have double stuffed oreo cookies….

"I was working out but cooking is what really motivated me," Inko continued. "One day I just bought too many groceries and I couldn't decide what to make. So I made everything," she admitted, and wasn't that a bit of an understatement. She was practically buried in food by the time she realized what she had done!

"Oh I remember that," Mina said, "it was a lot!"

"Yup, it was far too much for one sitting even with Tamoyo and Kokoro helping out, so we ended up taking them to a homeless shelter," Inko said.

"A lot is underselling it, Inko." Tamoyo idly commented, giving her a knowing look which caused her to flush a little at that. Though she spent a lot of time and effort on the food, she didn't regret it. Not to mention it doubled as a lesson in kindness for the children. The children even threw themselves into the task of serving others when the homeless people praised them as their heroes for such delicious food.

"After that I just got engrossed in cooking. I started trying new dishes with the budget I had on hand. And then I met Toshinori," Inko said as she moved to said man's side and placed her hand on his shoulder. Toshinori reached up and placed his hand over hers. "Thanks to Toshi, I was able to dedicate more time to it."

"What can I say," Toshinori asked with a small smile while rubbing the back of his head, "she really enjoys it and, you know, it all tasted amazing."

"Amazing he says," Inko laughed a little, "should have seen him when he tried my dishes for the first time. After he asked for thirds, he practically hogged the whole pot and ate the rest himself!"

"Pff-really!?" Disco laughed, Gran Torino joined in along with the children, Nighteye had his hand covering his mouth but his shoulders were dancings uncontrollably.

"It-it wasn't that bad," Toshinori whined, sadly it only fueled the laughter.

Inko felt a little guilty putting her Toshi in this position but she was glad that they moved away from the earlier topic. That said she was happy that Toshi 'smashed' his way into her life. While she was sure her culinary talents were part of Toshinori's decision to marry her, he never actually demanded, well, anything from her. He genuinely liked Inko for who she was, and it made her happy. Though, she did enjoy his compliments, such as her being better than the upcoming cooking hero, Lunch Rush. It also didn't hurt that she could cut back on the amount of hours she worked and focus more on her family and hobbies. And of course, that includes cooking.

"Who wants seconds," Inko gleefully asked, deciding to spare her Toshi any more embarrassment. Naturally, they all asked for more, and Inko couldn't be happier.

After a feast, things began to die down a little, the kids were lost in their own world and the grown ups situated themselves in different parts of the room while fighting off a food coma.

"I feel fat." Disco mumbled as she rubbed her stomach, causing the tiny old man sitting next to her to bark out in laughter.

"More surprised you ain't already!" The old hero proclaimed, easily ignoring the threatening glare she was giving him. "I've actually lost track of how many times I've seen you 'round these parts with an empty plate, askin' for more."

"Shut it, Gramps!" Disco tried to hit him in the head, only for the elder to fly away while scooping up both Izuku and Mina and jet around with the two children as he laughed with them with the impromptu ride.

Gran Torino, or 'Grampa Torino' as Izuku and Mina have taken to calling him (to which he now proudly took it in stride), is actually a retired hero. Despite that however, the old coot still has an up-to-date Hero License even though he officially retired years ago. It'd seem unlikely from his small stature and frail appearance, but the old hero could handle himself pretty well in a fight. Gunhead and herself have even seen the man take down criminals just because he was in the neighborhood. Needless to say that it didn't take long for the old hero to become a regular around Musutafu's residence district, which led to his nickname. Both children had called it out when they first met him, and stubbornly called him as such in spite of how adamant he was against being called as such.

Though he eventually came around though.

The old hero jet across the room with a smug laugh, only to receive a whack on the head by Inko with a wooden ladle as he passed her by! Gran Torino and the two children came crashing down onto the couch with Toshinori managing to capture both children before they caused the furniture to flip over.

"Ouch!" Gran Torino mumbled as he sat back down and rubbed his head, looking at Inko who was giving him a withering look.

"No flying in the living room." Inko simply stated, with Gran Torino mumbling under his breath about bossy women. Both children giggled at the scene before running over to the tiny old man and began to pat his head.

"It's okay, Grampa Torino." Izuku said as he gave him a hug. "We had fun!"

"Yup Yup!" Mina cheered with infectious glee, causing the old hero to chuckle and wave them off.

"Yeah yeah. I will take you guys for a trip in a special training area, show you what this old man could really do!" He laughed as he settled himself on the couch next to Nighteye.

Sir Nighteye's lip twitched a little at the older hero's action, but he quickly thinned it.

"It may not be my place to speak," Nighteye began as he addressed the older hero, "but you should set a better example for these two."

"Speaking of," Disco interrupted as she patted her belly with a satisfied smile on her face, "break any hearts today, boy wonder?"

Mirai, Sir Nighteye in "costume" and Uncle Nighteye to the kids, twitched at the comment with a light blush on his face. He was also becoming a regular around Musutafu, his good looks and career had garnered the attention of many of the local residents, the women in particular. It also helped that, along with David Shield, he was one of the few people who has personally worked with All Might on a regular basis as a sidekick.

"I..." he faltered for a bit, "I have indeed."

"Oh?" Disco let out in surprise, not expecting that kind of admission.

"For you see, I broke the hearts of many villains who attempted to commit crimes on my way over here," he lightly declared while pushing up his glasses by the bridge that connected the lenses.

"...I...see?" Disco let out with an awkward smile, wondering if the hero had made a joke. Sir Nighteye is a particular sort of man. He is extremely serious to a fault and took his profession seriously. This, however, was offset by the fact he told jokes at random times, and in such a serious manner too! Because of that, it tended to be a miss more often than a hit, and Disco didn't have the heart to tell him that he needed to work on his delivery...and humour in general. She wasn't alone in her dilemma, Toshinori tended to grimace and look away whenever his sidekick told a joke out of the blue, and offered a forced laugh in support of the man.

His sense of humor aside, the man was no joke when it came to close combat.

Sir Nighteye's combat skill, quirk usage, and usage of the support stamps he carried, made him a force to be reckoned with. Disco had sparred with him several times over the years, courtesy of Toshinori setting up the initial spar on Sir Nighteye's behalf. So, she knew full well what the man could do in the fight.

Never had she been pushed as far as she had been sparring with Nighteye, the only other person to have pushed that far was her master.

Though she assumed the same could be said for him. Oh she never touched him, especially in their first spar, but they were dozens of near hits that startled him. His reaction to Disco's speed and his ragged breathing at the end of their spar was all she needed to know that the man gave it his all. That's how it'd normally go, Disco and Nighteye, they'd spar with all they had and pushed each other to their limits.

She felt herself flush a little as Nighteye gave her a once over, directing a ghost of a smile her way as he settled himself in. In spite of the man's humor and character, she did find him to be attractive and charming, in his own little way. Though what mostly sold her is the fact that he's around, meaning that All Might trusts him.

"Shame that Naomasa couldn't make it." Toshinori sighed as he stood up while stretching his arms in an exaggerated manner, catching everyone's attention. "But work is work, and being a detective is pretty hard work!"

"But… doesn't he have that truth quirk? Villains and criminals can't lie to him?" Izuku asked as he got comfortable with Mina by his side. Disco couldn't help but note that the two haven't been apart for more than a minute outside of bathroom breaks. She was sure it was due to the villain attack earlier in the day, and she couldn't blame them for seeking each other for comfort. They saw her get knocked out in the first few seconds of the fight and their mothers taking up arms to defend them against the brute. It would terrify any child of their age, but they seem to be getting better as the day progresses.

If she recalled correctly, it would be Mina's second time being extremely close to a villain attack, and that rubbed Disco the wrong way. To think that a sweet little girl like Mina could experience such a thing at a young age...

"True." Mirai said quietly, gently rubbing the boy's head with some affection, causing the boy to flush at the act, it was exceedingly rare for the man to show this much even in private. "But there's more to police work than just receiving villains and locking them behind bars. There's an entire process police have to go through, a process that his quirk can't help with."

"That's right, there's also work that doesn't involve villains as well." Gran Torino explained while digging into his suit pocket. He pulled out a taiyaki and was about to bite into it...only to pause at the sight of Mina giving him large puppy eyes. He rolled his eyes and handed it over, the pink girl snatched it with glee and began to dig into the treat. The sight did bring an amused smile to his weathered face.

"You know," he began as he rubbed his beard in thought, "it would better your odds if you learned a bit about police work. In fact, if I recall correctly, UA does offer a few courses in forensic science. If you are serious about being a hero, you might want to look into it earlier. It would definitely give you a leg up once you graduate."

"Huh…" Izuku began, pinching his lip in a poor imitation of Gran Torino while beginning to mutter his thoughts, causing Toshinori to laugh at the sight.

"Yeah, it's not all about fighting villains." Disco said as she leaned into her seat. "I think you two know that, now, huh?"

The two only smile and nod their heads at this, causing the others to give one of their own. These kids were something special, and they hope to see them rise above all the rabble when their time comes.

However….an awkward silence soon fell over the group, Mina and Izuku, along with Mina's family, taking notice of the tensions in the room. Mirai and Gran Torino, in particular, were staring very strongly at Toshinori as he played his fingers to somewhat calm his nerves.

"Papa/Dad?" Mina and Izuku looked a little scared, seeing everyone so silent caused them to be on guard.

"Is… Is something wrong?" Mina timidly asked.

"We are sorry for not running…" Izuku whispered, causing many of the adults to widen their eyes at the tearful looking children.

"Oh, no Izuku. It's not that." Inko quickly swept both of them up, giving them both a powerful bear hug. "It's just…"

"I have something to show you." Toshinori interrupted her, a serious look on his face. "Something… That I probably should have shown you a long time ago. But…"

Seeing the questioning look from his son and the Ashidos, he sighed and gave a nod to Nighteye and Gran Torino. Everyone watched as the man walked to his study and gingerly stepped in, closing the door as he did so.

There was a long moment of silence, and Disco couldn't help but stare in confusion at what Toshinori just did.

"Did… Did he just-"

"I AM HERE! COMING INTO THE ROOM LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!" Izuku and Mina stare as All Might leaned out of Toshinori study, like he has always been there. Tamoyo and Kokoro were completely thrown off by All Might's arrival and couldn't help but stare right along with the children.

Some people were not amused though, indicated by the pillow smacking him in the grinning vistage.

"THERE IS NOTHING NORMAL ABOUT THAT!?" Disco shouted at him, pointing her finger in pure outrage.

"Disco! Your boyfriend is here!" Mina cheered, causing All Might to stare at the little girl with a stunned expression, his hands slipping from the doorway and crashing face first into the floor.

"HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" Disco cried out, pulling on her hair in pure frustration, before she turned around and kicked All Might in the head. "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!"

Inko couldn't help it.

She gave out a loud cry of laughter, tears streaming down her cheeks as she practically fell off the couch from the pure chaos of this one moment.

"I got it." Mirai said quietly to Gran Torino, showing him that he had his phone and was recording the event in full detail. This caused the old man to chuckle under his breath as he watched Toshinori get his head stomped on by the young heroine.

"All Might is in my house…" Izuku whispered, eyes wide as he quickly made his way around the fallen number one hero and rushed into the study. "Dad! You finally convinced All Might… to… come?"

"Izuku, my boy." All Might slowly got to a kneeling position, trying to get the youngster's attention.

"Dad? Where'd you go?" Izuku quickly made his way to his father's desk, looking under it and expecting to find him. Mina quickly joined in the search as she made her way around the fallen hero, helping Izuku look behind the curtains or look out the window.

"Izuku." All Might called out to him, finally getting his attention. Izuku watched as the number one hero seemingly deflated, his large muscular form deflating down to a more familiar form. Kokoro and Tamoyo felt a shock rush through their system as they watched All Might turn back into Toshinori. Izuku and Mina stared like they couldn't believe what they were witnessing before their very eyes.

And took a step away from Toshinori.

Everyone could see the blond man flinch at the move. Never before had he seen a child move away from him in such a manner, and for it to be Izuku of all people, it was pretty shocking.

"W-who are you?" Izuku whispered, suddenly looking very frightened at the man before him, Mina was clinging close to Izuku as well, staring at Toshinori with untrusting eyes. "Where is my dad?"

"What did you do with Papa Toshi?!" Mina cried out with tears filling her eyes. "Mama! Grampa! This man is a villain!"

"N-no no, not a villain!" Toshinori attempted to get close to the kids, only for the kids to scurry away from him and make their way to their parents and guardians. It nearly broke Toshinori's heart seeing them react this way.

The Ashidos quickly stepped before the children, not trusting the man before them, with Kokoro's horns quickly growing into lethal looking points and directed it at Toshinori, Tamoyo's phone was in his hand as he quickly began to call the police.

To everyone else in the room, this wasn't what they were expecting. They were expecting shock and awe, with the children crying out in joy and surprise, not fear and anger. Tamoyo was just about to finish dialing before the phone was plucked out of his hand from Mirai, much to his shock.

"Mirai… why-" Tamoyo began, but the hero spoker before she could finish her question.

"That is Toshinori." Mirai simply stated, walking past them to Toshinori as he stared at the children hiding behind them. Inko and Gran Torino also made their way to his side, much to the children's horror. "Aren't you going to say anything?" Mirai directed to Gran Torino.

"Oh no, this is Toshinori's mess, I'm just here to see what he does," the old hero responded.

"Mama Inko?" Mina whimpered as she watched the woman slowly pull the man to a standing position. "Wh-what did you do to them!?"

"Mina!" Inko called out in a harsh voice, causing the girl to flinch and hide behind Kokoro. Inko only sighed and shook her head, this wasn't going in any direction she thought it was going to go.

"Okay! Time out!" Disco called out, shaping a T with her hand. "Toshinori, what did I say to you when you were fighting big and meaty?"

"Uh…" Toshinori was still reeling from what was happening before he began to reply. "You told me that I wasn't there to save you and that I needed to cool it."

"Yup, it's him." Disco simply stated, turning to the Ashidos and the children. "Look kids-"

"It's a trick!" Mina yelled, "He has some sort of brain reading quirk!"

"And the transformation? Brainwashing too?" Disco asked, causing Izuku and Mina to falter and slowly look at one another in confusion.

"Uh…" Mina could only blink in confusion, while Izuku began to mutter up a storm.

"Couldhehaveaquirkthatallowshimtotransformandreadminds?Brainwashtoo?CopyquirkshaveatimelimitandfromwhatIrememberwhensomeonecancopymorethanonetheyusuallyhavelesstimetousesaidquirksandhehasbeenhereforhoursnow?Maybe-OW!" Izuku cried out as Disco, none too gently knocked him on the head.

"Look, c'mon, you all know that quirks are strange." Disco gave Mina's parents a glance as she crossed her arms, "Some people have quirks that have multiple parts to them, some even have quirks that count as two or three quirks. The big blond lug over here can make himself look bigger and punch harder. There's probably even quirks that can steal other quirks, ya know, it'sa, it's a thing, it happens!" Disco did her best to prove Toshinori's identity.

She turned her head to Toshinori as she said this, giving an amused grin as she said this, thus she saw the flinch from not only All Might, but also Gran Torino, Nighteye, and even Inko. The Ashidos had also seen this and felt themselves slowly realizing that there was far more to this event than normal.

Neither child noticed their reaction because they were too caught up in their own panic to notice. Izuku was whispering under his breath while Mina listened in close. The boy seemed to be on the verge of tears with Mina right behind him. Thankfully, it seemed that he was finally coming to terms with what was happening in his own home.

"Is… Is it really you, Dad?" Izuku whispered with Mina clutching onto his shirt tightly from behind as she looked at the blond.

"Izuku, my boy…" Toshinori lowered his head before nodding once to himself, "Do you remember that time I tried your mother's katsudon, and before I took my first bite you claimed that no one, not even All Might himself, could deny how good it was?"

The boy nodded his head, watching as the man gave him a warm smile. "You were right, All Might really couldn't deny just how good it was. All of her food really, I mean, you never seen me… er…. All Might promoting food or restaurants these days, do you?"

"No… He said…." His eyes widened as he looked towards Inko, "He… Found something so much better, so he was dropping the deals. Mom?"

"Yes, your father did indeed drop a lot of deals because of me." Inko groaned as she hung her head. "You father is madly in love with me… and my cooking."

"AH- but mostly you," Toshinori quickly said.

Mina felt Izuku shake away from her grip, watching as the young boy began to tear up as it slowly dawned on him of what he just did. He pulled away from Mina and rushed towards the man with a cry, the father easily catching the tearful child as he wailed out apologies to him, softly rubbing his back to sooth him.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Izuku cried into his chest, Mina quietly walking up behind him with her own tearful look. "I… I thought you were a villain…"

"No…. there's no need to apologize, my boy." Toshinori whispered as he rubbed his back. "I should've given you… No, all of you time to relax. You two especially, you are not used to being so close to villains."

"It's my fault…" Disco rubbed her head as she looked to the Ashidos, who were still struggling with the bombshell knews. "I sort of ambushed Toshinori and well, this sort of happened."

"Make no mistake," Mirai said as he crouched down to rub Mina's head as she wiped away her tears while sniffling . "We were going to tell you eventually, we just needed the right time to bring the information to light. We trust you wholeheartedly in keeping this secret and I know the children will keep this close to heart."

"Finally!" Gran Torino cheered as he grabbed Izuku in a headlock, much to Inko's shock as he walked around with the boy under his arm. "I can finally tell you two about all the times the big dumb blond here decided to be an idiot! I got loads of 'em!"

"Master please…" Toshinori begged while his face drained of color at the mere thought of his master's plan. He would have protested further, but the large and devious grin on his master's face all but ensured that all the embarrassing secrets were about to come to light. What little peace of mind his secret afforded him from his embarrassing past was now gone, and now his master had the freedom to spread details to his loved ones.

"My dad is All Might…" Izuku whispered to himself as he looked to Mina with a grin, the last of the tears replaced with awe. "How cool is that?"

"Super cool!" Mina cheered, only to pause and wilt a little. "Awww…. But we can't tell anyone."

"No… But… I don't want to tell anyone. It's a big secret just for us!" Izuku gave her a hug before he began to yawn with Mina giving one of her own a moment later.

"Mama… Can I-"

"Go ahead you two. Get ready for bed. We had a very long day today." Kokoro answered before Mina could finish.

"Yay!" All thoughts of the disastrous reveal was all but forgotten by the fluffy hair duo as they raced upstairs to get ready.

"Inko? Care to help me get our chaos in their bed?" Kokoro asked as she made after them, the greenette nodding as she began to follow. As they followed the cheers and animated talks from their children, Kokoro couldn't help but ask a single question. "There's more, isn't there?"

Inko's blank face was her only answer, choosing not to say anything as anything she could have said wouldn't even be close to fully answering without Toshinori.

===++One hour later++===

Tamoyo wasn't mad.

Not really, with Toshinori or any of them, to be honest with himself.

How can he be mad when no one knows All Might's real name. The fact the man himself revealed his secret to himself and his family actually touched Tamoyo of the level of trust the number one hero had for them.

Still, the timing could have been a lot better.

Gran Torino grumbled as he pulled out a flask and took a swig, while Toshinori walked back into his office and pulled out some strong liquor. Both Tamoyo and Kokoro attempted to stop them, only for the old man to insist on taking a drink.

"Trust me, you're going to want to take the edge off." He simply stated as he took another swig.

For a long moment, the adults simply nursed their drinks, even Inko was taking a sip here and there before Gran Torino gave a tired groan as he stood up.

"Alright then! About time for history lesson, one that isn't taught in school, so listen up! About two hundred years ago, some jackass got a quirk that basically made him into the ultimate predator. He goes by the name of All-for-One!" He started, pointing at Tamoyo as he continued. "Tamoyo, you already saw him once."

"W-what? I have?!"

"Yup! When your workplace was attacked. Giant guy, silver gray hair, an aura that all but makes you piss your pants, that's the bastard right there." Gran Torino described the man, causing Tamoyo to pale at the description as he realized who he was describing.

"Tamoyo." Kokoro gently laid a hand on his arm, causing him to twitch at the touch, but immediately placed a hand on top of her's. Disco frowned as she watched the old man rant about this 'All-for-One' character, scrunching up her face at the name.

"Why that name?"

"Huh?!" Gran Torino spun at the question Disco had asked.

"Why that name? What's the deal with the name?" Disco clarified seeing the look of confusion on the old man's face.

"It's because of his quirk." Mirai stated as he pushed up his glasses with his finger. "That joke you made earlier about someone not being able to steal quirks, that's actually true."

"It wasn't supposed to be a joke..." Disco blushed quietly, muttering under her breath.

"All-for-One's quirk is the ability to steal quirks from others, and even hand them out to those who swear loyalty to him." Mirai continued, a small frown as he watched as Disco and the Ashido's to freeze up at his words. "He has done so for almost two centuries now, and even large and powerful governments are unable to stop him."

"Trust me, they have tried." Toshinori growled as he clenched his fist. "The best they can do is keep his influence to a minimum."

"His connections are far and vast. Frankly, we don't know how many connections he has across the world. Considering his age, it's likely to be just as wide as the world." Mirai tapped on, shaking his head at the idea of trying to bring those connections down.

"We are just giving you cliffsnotes to get up to speed. We don't expect you two to do anything but keeping your heads down." Gran Torino pointed at both Tamoyo and Kokoro, "This is a very dangerous man and charismatic as all hell. He has been at this for years and Toshinori is just the latest in the line of heroes slated to go against him."

"Why?" Tomoyo asked without really thinking.

"He's a villain, we're heroes," Gran Torino shrugged. "If you mean why Toshinori in particular, well, you're better off not knowing. It'll paint a target on your back if you even so much as peep about it, just knowing this much is dangerous enough as is." Gran Torino growled as he paced around the room. "Just be thankful that you two didn't catch his interest… Though, I cannot say the same for your daughter."

All the parents in the room felt like ice was dropped down their backs at his word.

"W-what do you mean?!" Kokoro stood up and demanded. "Why in the world would he…" Kokoro trailed off before recounting what they were talking about, and arrived at a horrifying realization. "Her quirk."

"That's right." Mirai took off his glasses and began to rub his eyes from the stress that had quickly built up. "Mina's quirk is powerful, powerful enough to garnish the attention of even All-For-One. Thankfully, that shouldn't be-"

Whatever he was going to say fell silent as the drinking glass in Tamoyo's hand slipped from his hand and loudly shattered on the floor, his face pale and beginning to shake.

"Tamoyo?" Toshinori got up and walked towards the man, placing his hands on his shoulder. Inko had quickly picked up the pieces of glass with her quirk and thrown them away while grabbing a rag to wipe away the remaining liquor. "What wrong?"

"I-I think he knows about Mina." Tamoyo whispered in horror. "You… You said he is powerful and has many connections. He attacked my workplace for a reason… I… When Mina's quirk came in, we were struggling to find any means of managing it, much less a person willing to help Mina control her quirk. We asked my job for assistance, we were told that they would ask around. We got emails from people in the United States and Europe interested in her quirk."

All the heroes had their eyes bulged after realizing what the man was implying, only to quickly narrow then after with Gran Torino summing up their thoughts in a single word.

"Shit."

"Hold on, I mean, he wouldn't-" Tamoyo began, but he didn't get to finish.

"If you say he won't know, fat chance of that happening. All he has to do is hear a rumor of a powerful and unique quirk and he will be there in heartbeat. There's no length he wouldn't go to for such a quirk, and I'm being frank, he's than worse for less. He laid waste to a hospital to gain a quirk with a slightly interesting healing factor. It happened in Okinawa around 43 years ago, a doctor had a quirk that allowed his patients to regrow limbs and organs, he was killed...along with multiple hospital staff, patients, and responding police officers and heroes. The death toll was just over a hundred." Gran Torino muttered angrily as he kicked the couch next to him. "It was my first time running into him… It was also where I met Nana Shimura, who later trained this idiot."

"Master…" Toshinori only hung his head in defeat, he probably deserved it thinking the entire situation was going to go on swimmingly.

Kokoro felt like she was drowning with information overload at the moment, she had all but downed her drink and was quickly working on a second one. In her struggle to come to terms with everything she was hearing, she turned to see Inko had returned from the kitchen from cleaning up the mess and sipping on her own and noted the woman to be much calmer than herself. "Inko… How long have you known about… all of this?"

"A few years now." Inko responded without hesitating. Inko gave her a small smile before looking back to her drink. "To be honest, I was much like you… confused and scared of what I was walking into. But… I can't walk away from Toshi. If I did, I don't think I would forgive myself for doing so."

"You know I wouldn't blame you." Toshinori murmured quietly to her. Inko shook her head at his words.

"I know… But I would hate myself for leaving you alone." Inko gave him a resolute smile, though she was a bit teary-eyed and more or less ruined it. "I am with you! Always!"

"This… man." Tamoyo started, he wasn't sure what to call this 'All-for-One' character, not after everything he was told and his own experience. "Are-are you any closer to defeating him?"

The room was quiet for a moment but Mirai spoke up.

"It's taken some time, but I believe we are getting close." Mirai fixed his glasses as he looked at the floor. "Weeding out his spies, disrupting illegal trades, dismantling his source of funds and resources; We have worked hard on this for years."

"That's right." Gran Torino finally stopped his pacing, taking a seat next to Inko as he took another swig from his flask. "This is the closest we have been to hitting him where it hurts. But so far we haven't seen neither hide nor hair of the old bastard."

"I will defeat him." Toshinori muttered, his form growing in size quickly as he clenched his fist. "I will make sure the children will not have to fear him in the future."

He didn't see the grin growing on Gran Torino's face when he said those words. Just a few short years ago, before he met Inko, he was all but killing himself in an attempt to find and put down the monster that was All-for-One. He had to basically strong arm Toshinori to study in the US.

Thankfully, the drive to avenge Nana had slowly taken a backseat, and Toshinori began to focus more on the family he has now: A caring wife, a son, and pseudo-daughter that looked up to him, not to mention the various people who had come to trust him.

He wished Nana had done the same as Toshinori when it came to family, but those years, All-for-One acted out in the open with impunity. The man set fear rampant wherever he went, not only Japan, but the world as well. The final clash between Nana and All-for-One may have halted the villain for time, considering he didn't resurface as quickly as Gran Torino expected, but it was obvious that he didn't spend that time doing nothing. Maybe if he had searched harder, recruited more people, he could have-

No.

It did no good to relive past regrets, Gran Torino needed to focus on the future.

And speaking of the future.

"Now you know the secret," Gran Torino barked out, gaining everyones' attention. "Just go about your life and nothing will change."

"Aside from… you know, the number one hero is the father of one of my students and some literal ancient evil running around." Disco mumbled as she crossed her arms in thought.

"Yup. No changes. Speaking of the brats, how are they coming along in their training?" Gran Torino pushed on, he had no desire to keep the mood down and wanted to change the subject.

"It's going pretty good." Disco smiled with pride, eager to go along with the change in topics. That said, she is glad that the teachings were sticking with her two students. "It helps that they also like to dance, so they are pretty fit to begin with."

"Oh! That's right, you just gave them that green and yellow belt!" Inko recalled seeing Izuku and Mina wearing the belts around their waists, "Though Mina seemed slightly depressed there was no color pink as a rank."

"Pfft, maybe she will make her own after she learns all that I can teach her. But yeah, they absorb the styles and forms like sponges." Disco frowned as she thought on what to say next. "I really want to bring my own Master to see them, maybe have him take over."

"Can you not do it?"

"I can do it… but…" Disco rubbed her head with a sheepish smile. "Well, Master Eneas did train me, and I kind of want to show them off. Plus, being a hero takes time away from teaching them properly."

"Ah." Gran Torino understood immediately and shook his head in amusement at the proud woman before him. "Still holding off on the muscle training?"

"Yes, what they have now is good, no need to mess them up before they hit their teens." Disco seemed to be in deep thought before she began to speak again. "I was thinking of maybe having Gunhead teach them other styles. Once I am sure they have the proper forms down, I'll have them try other styles too. It wouldn't do if they have the same techniques and such, I have a bit of kickboxing thrown in on my end, but that is something I just picked up in my spare time."

"It will be better in the long run." Toshinori wrapped his arm around Inko as he leaned back in his seat. "I rather those two know how to fight rather than just throwing wild punches."

"Like you?" Kokoro snarked out, everyone giving a small chuckle at her jab at him.

"Wha-no, I don-"

"Oh please, I hope Izuku doesn't try to copy you and yell 'SMASH' every time he throws a strong punch." Disco rolled her eyes at the idea, her little 'brother' yelling out like a loon would cause her to retire in an instant.

"~Inko… Everyone is bullying my Smash." Toshinori gave off a fake whine, only with Inko to roll her eyes at the attempt to get some sympathy.

"Oh I am sorry, Toshi. Perhaps clenching your butt and giving a mighty yell would get you out of it."

"PFFT!" Disco had taken a swing of drink and promptly spat it out in laughter. "What?!"

"It's how Toshinori uses his quirk, or at least when he is about to smash up the place or some idiotic villain." Inko said with a giggle, she got up and puffed out her chest. "Here is how I use my quirk, Inko! I clench my buttocks and I yell deep within my heart, 'SMASH!'"

Inko's absurd look as she punched out her fist while she said it sparked a round of laughter that helped diffuse the dark and tense atmosphere around them. It didn't end there, it was equally absurd when Toshinori stood up and posed behind her in his All Might form in a similar fashion.

"It works! Don't knock it until you try it!" He defended, scooping up Inko and swung her around with her giving a tame shriek of surprise at the move. Disco couldn't help but chuckle at the scene, this was far better than it was earlier with fear and uncertainty.

It was also clear that everyone was getting a bit tipsy, especially Inko, who was well-known in not having a very good alcohol tolerance to begin with.

Disco only shook her head, chuckling as she watched Gran Torino leapt off the couch and kicked Toshinori in the head to have him drop the shrieking Inko, but he ignored it with practice ease. She caught movement from the corner of her eye, turning slightly to see two familiar fuzzy hair children watching the adults laughing and having fun with tired eyes. She got up and silently made her way towards them.

"What's going on, Disco?" Mina rubbed her eyes, with Izuku's head nodding slightly from the exhaustion, both children holding each other's hand in their grip.

"Nothing much, Pinky. Come on, let's get you two to bed. Might put on some music to drown out our noise." Disco picked up both children easily and made her way towards their room.

Both children mumbled out in agreement, holding onto her tightly as she made her way up stairs, smiling as she carried the duo.

"Hey, Disco… Me and Izuku were talking earlier…"

"About?"

"Hero names. What would be a good hero name for me?"

"How about Pinky?" Disco chuckled a little as Mina blanched at the name, "No?"

"Nope nope!" Mina crossed her arm in an x, shaking her head. Izuku mumbled something into her shoulder, eyes struggling to stay awake.

"Let me think." Disco walked into the room, gently placing the two back in bed, a loud cheer echoing from the door indicating something must have happened downstairs. She shook her head and went to the speaker setup in the room with Izuku's phone plugged in nearby. She looked for some relaxing music and put it on, the voices were drowned out by soothing melodies being played.

"Thank you Disco." Izuku murmured as he hugged Mina, while the girl was still looking at her with some expectations.

'Ah, right, hero name.' She thought about it, remembering all the times Tamoyo called her a princess and she took a long look at the girl before her.

Unique wouldn't even come close to describing the girl in the bed at the moment. With bright pink hair and skin, gold and black eyes, and gnarled horns on top of her head, Mina seems otherworldly in her appearance to all. A smile graced her face as she sat next to her, taking note that Izuku was still somewhat awake from his single open eye watching her.

"I have a good name for you." Disco announced to the both of them.

"Really?!" Mina bounced in place, with Izuku looking at her with full attention.

"Your hero name shall be…" Disco held her breath as she paused, watching as the two children seemed to lean in to hear. "Alien Queen."

Mina's eyes sparkled as she whispered her hero name under breath, the smile on her face wide and large. "I love it! That will be my hero name!"

"It's a good name, Mina." Izuku said before a yawn overtook him. "I still need mine, but I can wait."

"I got a name for you too, Mister Defender." Disco teased, it was the first thing that popped in her head due to all the trouble the boy went through in defending other students from bullies over the years. The boy was a shield, a bulwark against the wave of bullies that tried to take advantage of other students and himself for their weak quirks or lack of said quirk. "Your hero name is going to be Aegis. It came from some mythical shield, it means protection and guidance, which is what you do all the time with Pinky here."

Izuku's smile was just as bright as Mina's, before the moment was broken and a yawn escaped from his mouth, Mina's own eyes seemed to droop as the energy she just pulled out left her.

"Alright kiddos, time for bed."

"Okay Sis." They both murmured as they snuggled with one another, causing her to smile as she shook her head. She tucked them in before rubbing their hair one last time before leaving the room and closing the door. She leaned against it for the time being in silence, wincing as the wounds from earlier today acted up.

"You should let Recovery Girl take a look at you tomorrow." She barely kept herself from yelling as she turned to see Mirai standing nearby, causing her to grumble.

"Jeez, warn a girl next time." She huffed out silently in annoyance, watching as the man give a smile that quickly thinned away until it was replaced with a stern gaze. "Something up?"

"No… Just…" Mirai turned away, unsure on what to say. "I have been sitting on an issue since earlier in the week, something that I should tell Gran Torino right away, but… I was unsure if it was wise to do so. Recently though, the desire to say something is starting to get a bit too much."

"Well, what is it?"

"I used my quirk on All Might," he all but blurted out his admission. Disco couldn't help but stare at Mirai for that, using a quirk on someone, even if it didn't really affect a person per say, was usually frowned upon. The fact he had done so, someone as straight-laced as him, said a lot upon the stress he was under.

"Any particular reason why? I mean, you can see the future, I would have thought Toshinori would constantly ask about how the day would go?" She leaned against the wall, watching as the man frowned but nodded his head at her assessment.

"He actually told me not to use it for such things, other than seeing if we had an emergency and needed a heads up on what to do. Beyond that, I only ever used it during fights or to literally check the weather."

"So why the sudden change of heart?"

"That is why I am unsure, perhaps it was due to all of our recent success in taking down All-for-Ones bases; something kept bothering me. The cynic in me just wanted to make sure that the future Toshinori was building would last, that he deserved some happiness with his family. So I used it, several times in fact this past week." Mirai closed his eyes as he thought on what he saw, a look of confusion on his face was more than apparent.

"What did you see?"

"I'm not sure." Disco blinked once, then twice, unsure if she heard that correctly coming from a man who can literally see the future. "I used it several days ago, and it showed me All Might dying."

Disco felt the chills run down her spine as Mirai silently paced the hall, gritting his teeth in frustration before he spoke again.

"This morning, I used it again, just before he left to do his patrol in the Tochigi Prefecture." Mirai's hands were shaking, causing him to form it into a fist to try and control the shakes. "I saw devastation. Bodies of various villains strewn around him, including All-for-One, but I also saw myself and Gran Torino, along with dozens of heroes... All Might killed us all."

It felt like someone punched her in the gut, as she watched Mirai hit his leg to get himself under control. "I can only guess if you were not there, or if he wasn't fast enough, he would have been broken by the loss of Inko, Izuku, and the Ashidos. He probably would have torn the city, no, the country apart to find Muscular if he got away. Probably find All-for-One in the process, but every hero would be trying to stop him too."

"And now?"

"Clouds."

"What?!"

"I can't see his future." Mirai grimaced as he struggled to understand. "It changes again to clouds, with bits of death, destruction, occasionally well lived life seeping through before vanishing back into the clouds. It's in constant flux and I have no idea how to even begin to understand."

"This never happened before, has it?"

"No, never." Mirai gave her a rueful grin as he leaned against the wall in exhaustion, "The fact that my quirk is failing me makes me worried. Despite my quirk, I have no idea what is going to happen."

"Huh…" Disco took a spot next to him, giving him a small nudge, "Well, welcome to the "not knowing the future" club, just like the rest of us plebeians."

"I hardly think of you as a plebeian."

"Oh? And what am I to you then?" Disco coyly asked, though internally she was panicking, the alcohol had definitely loosen her tongue.

"A fine hero." He simply stated, causing her head to hang from the words. "And...uh."

She looked up to see the man flush embarrassingly as he looked away, rubbing his neck as if he was unsure on what to say. She couldn't help but smile as she leaned against him, sighing with content.

"Don't push too hard. No need to rush." She closed her eyes, listening as laughter rang out from downstairs. "Come on, let's go back. No need to be all doom and gloom, the future is ever changing after all."

Disco merrily walked away from Nighteye, who watched her leave with a small sigh, shaking his head to follow. "The future I see is always set in stone… at least it was a couple of weeks ago… Now though..."
