Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

The Beginning of Destiny

Disclaimer: I don't own Yugioh, its spin-offs, or its games, just the main character and the extras I throw in.

This takes place during the two part episodes, The King of the Copycats, turning it into a one-parter, while I skip three episodes, Courting Alexis, The Duel Giant and Nature of the Draw, since they would be more Jaden focused, and doesn't really serve much of a purpose in this story, or rather, they would be brought up in flashbacks, or mentioned, since my guy won't play a big role in any of them.

And finally, after so many years, my character finally reveals his true self. If you don't know what I'm talking about, read from chapter 1, and watch what went on before this one.

The last few days since Aeris proved herself to be a capable duelist, and things went back to the regular norm at the academy, although the biggest exception is that Aeris is getting more respect from most of the students at the academy, for standing up against, and defeating her tormentor, Seika, who got expelled after people started to speak up of how she abused her position, and a congratulations from some of the teachers and staff, Sheppard included, on how she overcame her weaknesses. Even though she was still growing from her old self, with her boyfriend by her side, Aeris would be able to overcome anything that tries to bring her down.

Although, while the good side is Aeris gaining confidence and earning a lot of people's respect on the island, along with Seika getting a permanent boot from the academy, with Kaiba's backing, because in a world where Duel Monsters is a way of living for most, Seika would have given the game a really bad image if she were to let fame and glory go straight to her head.

The bad side is that now Aeris is proven herself to be a capable duelist, now, she is being pursued by both boys from the Obelisk dorms, who are courting her, despite the fact that she is already taken, and the girls in her own dorm trying to pair her off with, what they declare, 'top class hunks,' because even though Will has proven himself to be one of the greatest duelists on the island, apparently, the color of one's coat, or their dorm, is still not considered good enough for an Obelisk girl. Unfortunately for them, Aeris not only shot down her suitors, and told her fellow dorm mates to back off, she is glad to be with Will, yet she is more than willing to prove her love to Will by almost any means, from either kissing him in public, wrapping her arms around one of his, or even jumping on his back for a piggyback ride. Anything beyond that, they agreed to wait a few years, when they got to experience life more to where they are more mature to handle more serious things, and they both have the gold ring on their fingers.

On Will's end, while a great duelist, and student, he was still a Ra Yellow, below anybody wearing Blue, and a lot of the students, including Crowler and a few teachers, are more than willing to separate him from Aeris, even if it's against their will, yet more than once, they have been told to back off, and with somebody like Will, it's a losing battle no matter what they try. With the male Obelisks, some tried to push things a little too far, especially some annoying Obelisk by the name of Harrington, who is the heir of some sporting franchise, who can't seem to lay off the sports clichés, helped prove how arrogant a good portion of the Obelisk students are.

Flashback-Tennis courts

Will, Aeris, and along with Alexis, are entering the courts, after having a quick chat with Banner about the latest news on Chazz, when they see a wiped out Jaden on the ground, surrounded by tennis balls, while Harrington was busy spouting out bad sport clichés. When they were noticed by Mindy and Jasmine, both yelled out Alexis's name, which caused everybody else to turn towards them.

While Harrington was busy trying to pass himself as important, the trio walked past him towards the net, looking at Jaden on the other side of it. "Gee Jaden, I never thought I see the day something wears you out." Will said, while leaning on the net, causing most of the people to chuckle/giggle at the comment, while Harrington looked far from pleased on being ignored, "The world must be coming to an end."

Jaden, oblivious at the joke made at his expense, slowly got back onto his feet, "Yeah, well, what can I say, Tennis really isn't my thing." He said, before looking at the three, "So what are you guys doing here?"

Alexis answered, "Well, we were on our way here when we were intercepted by Professor Banner, and he told us about what happened to Chazz."

Jaden walked up to the trio, stopping in front of Alexis, "And what's the word Lex?"

This was when Harrington popped right into Jaden's face, and started to spout out a bunch of accusations, (And if you watch the Courting Alexis episode, you'll see why I'm not adding this guy's gibberish to this chapter.) While Syrus and Jasmine had sweat drops on their heads, and Mindy looking more like your basic airhead, Will, Aeris and Alexis had sour looks on their faces on the verbal exchange between the Tennis Captain and the idiot from Slifer, mainly because Harrington sounds too much like somebody staking their claim on a human being.

Will said, without even looking, "Aeris, if you like, I can teach you a few self-defense moves, so that way, you can defend yourself against idiots like him." He said,

Aeris didn't even need to think about that answer, "I gladly accept your offer." She said, because even a girl like her needs to be ready to use the direct approach when it comes to telling the world to butt out of her life, especially when it comes to relationships.

Will gave her a confirmation nod, before *bam* he clotheslined Harington who wanted to be the one to train her, along with bombard her with bad sports quotes. "The lady made her choices hot shot. Get over it already."

Flashback end

While Harrington wanted to counter, one look from Will, one that has become famous across the island, and he decided to duel Jaden over the right to become Alexis's fiancé, which Jaden won, (And the duel is canon, which is why I didn't write it), but not to Will's surprise when it turned out, the boy had no idea what he was dueling for, or what the term fiancé meant. Although Alexis defined it as a special friend, both Will and Aeris knew that she technically didn't deny it either, so anything would be possible a few years down the road. Yet, the list of pushy Obelisks, male and female, student and teacher, is still long, yet none of them have enough courage whenever he makes a stand, like catching a hand by the wrist of a female Obelisk student aiming to slap him for not giving into their demands, to refusing to go to detention set up by Crowler, or one of the Obelisk teachers, for refusing to do what they say when it comes to interfering with people's private lives, yet back down when they threaten to get the Chancellor involved, and one of the first responses from Will is to lead the way, which would be a clear cut way of saying he is more than willing to take that chance.

And though rumors, and what gets told to him, he heard about how Jaden dealt with the so called Duel Giant, or rather, the combined team efforts of two Ra students, Brier and Beauregard, to get even with some Obelisks whose heads kept getting overinflated with ego, and crossed a line by having them use an ante duel to really cause them harm. After Jaden defeated them, and had them return all the cards in secret, and, for some strange reason, they went up to Will to apologize for their choices, yet all he said to them was don't do it again and believe in themselves more. The one thing that irritates him so much, along with the fan club that has formed, containing both love-seeking girls, and students, both male and female, seeing him as some kind of role model, is that people seem to act like he set some kind of standards, and they are violating those standards, even though all he does is stand up to those who oppress others, and live his life with an honor code that he developed, and shared with a very small group of people.

He also heard through his friends, and Dorothy, although she was clueless when it came to dueling, which is ironic considering where she's at, and what she runs, about what was going on with the Golden Egg Sandwiches, and some student named Damon, who did some kind of soul searching when it came to the draw of the card. He laughed when it turned out, the day after the said sandwiches made a comeback, Alexis was the one who found it, while Jaden found a spinach sandwich. And while he liked the sandwich, and he is too smart not to say this out loud, but he is not as obsessed about it as much as most of the students. Will prefers variety when it comes to food, and half the time, he usually gets it whenever Aeris wants it, but has difficulty getting one herself, forcing her to take drastic measures, aka, the puppy eyes, with a pout, in order to get him to get it for her. Hey, Will might be a bit of a hard case at certain times, but hey, doesn't mean he can't be 'persuaded,' to help his girlfriend.

Anyway, he just left the Chancellor's office, who gave him two tickets for an important, at least to most of the school, event. As it turns out, somebody convinced Yugi to let his deck go on display at the academy, and tickets at the moment are becoming scarce, with people either buying, or dueling, for a ticket or two. The only ones who don't have to worry about it, were those who were at the top in pretty much everything, from grades to dueling abilities, and Sheppard personally kept three of them to hand out himself. One to Zane, the other two to Will, because he knows who he would like to take with him.

Deciding to go meet Aeris at the store, since the Chancellor decided to give the students a three day weekend, while the staff got their exhibit room ready for the special arrival, when around the corner, he encountered Zane, who seemed to be waiting for him.

Sensing what it might be about, "When and where?" Will asked him, knowing that a duel between him and the academy's top student would be inevitable, especially when it involves the deck that became his signature when it came to dueling.

"Tonight, after lights out, and I'll lead you to a spot where we can duel in private." Zane said, "I know you want to keep your true identity a secret for however long you deem fit, and at the moment, I want to see for myself where I stand when compared to a true professional." He said, before starting to walk away, only stopping to say, "And I also want to duel you in your professional look."

Will just let it go at that, because before he came to the academy, people have told him that he was already a pro with his skills, considering that he already participated, and won one or two semi-pro tournaments, just to see who has what it takes to become a dueling prodigy like Yugi Moto, which Will did, but when offered to start becoming a pro right on the spot by some agents and officials, he shot them down, choosing to grow up some more before starting anything so taxing on a kid. While some tried to push him into it, even threatening him, only for Yugi himself, along with Seto Kaiba, stepping in, and telling the individual to not only support his decision, and tell them to back off, yet also, showing how much respect he gained from them for not taking the easy way into something so many would give an arm and a leg to gain, which grew more when he dueled them, and despite losing to them, he showed the true spirit of a duelist, along with Yugi and Kaiba helping him get out of the public spotlight when things got out of control, and Kaiba decided to step up to the corporations who refuse to get the hint on letting a kid stay a kid.

Anyway, back to the present. Will showed up to the store to meet Aeris, to see that Syrus was dueling somebody from Ra doing a really horrendous job of impersonating Crowler, both in deck and personality. When he found Aeris, who looked like she wasn't sure what to make of all this, he walked up to her, who after noticing her boyfriend, was more than glad to have a distraction from trying to figure out why anybody would want to impersonate Crowler.

Pulling out a ticket, "Hey Aeris, look what I got." He said, handing it to her. When she looked at the ticket, her eyes lit up, because she thought she was late getting a ticket for both herself and Will.

"Where did you get the tickets?" She asked.

"The Chancellor held on to a few for those he believes are the true elites, which in this case, me and Zane, and gave me a pair, since he knew who I would want to take with." Will explained, causing the girl to blush because it sounded like the Chancellor was setting up a date night between the couple, "So what is going on here."

Aeris, after snapping out of her little world, caught Will up with what he missed, from Syrus coming by to claim his ticket, and buy another for Jayden, yet since that ticket is the last one, Syrus is dueling the min-Crowler, "Do you know who he is? I think I seen him before once in a while, but impersonating somebody else."

Will gave a small nod, having to live in the same dorm with the guy, "Yeah, his name is Demitri, and he is a walking blank canvas." Will started to say, causing Aeris a curious look, "For some reason, he always tries to copy other duelist decks, mainly strong, famous duelist, on and off the island, along with their personalities, mainly trying to be them, even though like his dueling, both stink really badly. So far, from what I've heard, he tried to copy off of really famous duelists like Yugi Moto and Seto Kaiba, despite missing some key cards." When Aeris eyes went wide-eye, because there is somebody, usually called a cookie-cutter duelist, who would intentionally duel by copying other people's decks, yet the way Will describes it, this Demitri is taking it to the extreme, "The problem is, it's hard to tell if he knows what he is originailly like, unless this is what he's really like, because you can copy the duelist and their deck, yet the one thing you can't copy is the soul of the duelist, because the deck is connected to the one who put in the effort into creating it."

Aeris nodded at this, before the pair turned to see Jaden just walking in at the final part of the duel. Right now, Dimitri had an Ancient Gear Golem ready to attack, while Syrus had a Jetroid, which looks like a fighter jet came to life. When Dimitri ordered his monster to attack, Syrus activated his monster's ability, which is he can activate a trap card that is in his hand, which in this case, he used Magic Cylinder, because when two cylinders popped out of thin air, the attack went into one tube, and out the other, sending the attack directly towards the Ra's life points, securing Syrus both the win and the ticket.

Watching Jaden trying to 'pity' Syrus into giving him the other ticket, Will gave his girlfriend a slight tap with his elbow, "Come on, let's go grab some lunch before we head back to class." He said. Aeris gave a small nod, before the pair left, hand-in-hand.

Night time- In some field

Zane and Will are at a spot far from the public eye, getting ready to commence a duel in the making. They met at the crossroads, with Will using his Ra Jacket and red cap as the perfect cover for what he wore underneath, considering that he wasn't wearing the jacket, more like have it draped over him. And if one were to look carefully, they would notice that his duel disk wasn't the academy issued, but looked more like the pitch black version of the duel disks used in Battle City.

Decks are in the slots, and Will is about to break out his true look to fulfill Zane's request, but stopped when he felt a presence that wasn't of this world, but knew full well what it was. Holding out his hand, saying hold on a sec, "What is it?" He asked, just as a Dark Magician popped up beside him.

Zane looked at Will, watching to see what was going on, especially since to him, the younger boy looked like he was talking to nothing. One rumor that sprouted out in articles is that some people believe Will has a connection to Duel Monster spirits, even though there are those who still don't believe that the monsters in the cards are based off of real creatures. While he himself is unsure about the idea of a world where Duel Monsters are actually living beings and not cards, yet what he is seeing before his eyes, while some might call Will nuts, or mental, because he seems to be talking to himself, he believes that there is more to this world, along with this universe, that mankind isn't aware of, and isn't meant to know every little thing.

Seeing Will's mood darken, "Looks like we'll have to postpone our duel for a while." Will said, before turning around, and started to walk away.

Sensing that it must be serious for Will's voice to sound like he plans to unleash revenge on somebody, "What's wrong?" Zane asked.

Will yelled out the one thing that would make even Zane mad, "Some idiot just stole Yugi's deck from the museum." He said, on his way to make sure to fix this serious wrong.

Small Rocky Beach

A few miles from the Slifer dorm, at a small rocky beach, stood Dimitri, on a rock with his back facing the water, this time doing a cheap impression of Yugi, from the spiky hair to the coat being used as a cape, along with a bad drawing of the Millennium Puzzle on his shirt, pretty much confirming who stole Yugi's deck, while on the other side of the beach, laid Syrus, after getting beaten by Dimitri using Yugi's deck. Jaden, Bastion and Chumley came just as it ended.

After an exchange of words, "Jaden, you're the only one here who can defeat him." Syrus said, while taking off his duel disk, and removing his deck, "Here . . ."

Then a loud, "He's mine." Rang out; They turned to see Will walking towards them, walking out of the darkness, even though he has a Ra jacket on him, like he was a part of it.

Jaden was about to counter until he noticed the look in his friend's eyes, one that pretty much said there would be consequences for whoever gets in his way. "Sure bro, knock yourself out." He said.

"And be careful Will." Chumley said.

Syrus was too shocked to say anything, and Bastion, well, he had a feeling that he was going to see why his computer kept warning him to tread cautiously before blowing up in his face, whenever he tries to figure out the algorithms to defeat Will.

When Will got into position, Dimitri, in a very bad impression of Yugi's voice, said, "So I have another person who thinks they can take me, Yugi Moto, on in a duel."

"Shut up and duel Dimitri." Will said, as his duel disk came to life, going into battle (duel) mode, and he pulled out five cards from his deck with his right hand, and placed them into his left.

"That's Yugi to you." Dimitri said, getting ready for another duel.

"No, when I meet the real Yugi, then I'll call him Yugi." Will said, while pulling out a card from his deck, officially starting the duel, "I refuse to call a fake something other then what they really are." He then looked at the card he drew, and the cards in his hand. While he has a bit of a good start, he still needs to build up towards the right moment, because even though somebody else is using his deck, Yugi's deck is one to not be underestimated. By swapping cards from one hand to the other, "I play Cave Dragon in attack position." He said, bringing out a monster that is a level 4, yet has 2000 attack points, "And then I place two cards face down."

Over at the sidelines, just as Dimitri started his turn, "Wow, first turn and Will already has a kick butt monster out onto the field." Jaden said.

"Yes, it is powerful, but it comes with some high demands." Bastion said, being the current brains of the group.

"What kind of demands?" Syrus asked.

"Well first, in order to summon it in attack position, there shouldn't be any other monsters out on the field, otherwise he would play his dragon in defense position, and that monster has a really weak defense." Bastion started to explain, "The other demand is that it can't attack unless there is another dragon-type monster on the field."

The other three had their eyes widened, before returning their focus on the duel at hand, seeing how this plays out."

Dimitri feeling peeved, because somebody refuses to acknowledge him as the King of Games himself, yet refusing to break character, "I well make you pay for your insubordinates." He said, before looking at his cards, "I play polymerization to fuse Berfomet and Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts to become Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast," When said monster appeared onto the field, "Now attack my creature and destroy that dragon." When the dragon was destroyed, and Will only lost 100 LP, "Do you fear me now?" He asked, while ending his turn.

"About as much as I fear a hang nail." Will said, drawing his next card, looked at it, and placed it into his hand, "Activate Future Fusion!" He yelled out, as he waved his hand up, revealing one of the facedown cards, "With this card I can bring out a fusion monster in two turns," He started to explain, while pulling out his deck, and flicking it open to look at his options, about a few seconds later, he grabbed five cards and placed the deck back into the slot to get reshuffled, "And all I need to do is send the required monsters to the graveyard," after doing what he said, "And the monster I plan to bring out is the Five God Dragon." When he mentioned the monster he was going to bring out, while all the gasps were hard to miss, yet that was far from his original purpose, because he knows Yugi designed his deck to be as flexible as possible, so he is making sure to counter the counters so to speak. He then decided to throw in a couple of things that he figured would help with his big reveal, since it seems to be happening a bit ahead of schedule. "I place a monster onto the field facedown, and place another card facedown as well, along with activate Dragon's Rage." When he did what he said he did, "I end my turn." He said, before crossing his arms.

Dimitri had a bit of fear, until he drew his next card, then he stared to give off a bad Yugi laugh, especially with how cocky he sounded, "While I admire your attempts to bring out a powerful monster within a small amount of time that is not going to happen because I am going to prevent that from happening." Dimitri said, before revealing what he has drawn, "I activate Mystical Space Typhoon to take out your Future Fusion card to keep your dragon from appearing on the field." When said card did what it was supposed to, Will didn't looked phased at all, yet Dimitri thought he was quivering on the inside, "And I use De-Fusion to separate my monster to bring back what was used to summon it," after the Chimera became two again, "Now I'll use the two monsters to summon my favorite monster, the Dark Magician." When the two vanished to bring fourth one of the most famous monsters in the world, "Now my Dark Magician, destroy his monster with Dark Magic Attack!"

When the magician launched his attack, and made contact with the facedown monster, causing a huge explosion, forcing Will to quickly put his arm in front of his eyes to keep the sand and dirt from flying into his face, yet, due to how he was dressed, two of what he is wearing flew off.

On the sidelines, even though they weren't in ground zero, the four watching were still within range of the blast zone to where they had to cover their eyes from getting blinded by the debris. And just like how his Charlie Brown luck tends to go, *whap!* Syrus gets hit in the face with a piece of clothing covering his head. After it felt like things have calmed down, Syrus took whatever hit him off his face, and got a good enough look at it to see that it was a jacket, a Ra Yellow jacket that hit him and Chumley is holding a red cap. This caused some worry to the quad that their friend was hurt, and called out his name.

When the dust finally settled, everyone in the area ended up doing a double take, because instead of Will Rawelk, the person who became a key member of the academy, they are looking at Will Walker, the Crimson Duelist. While they all have seen their fair share of imposters, along with those who either called him a coward for disappearing from the spotlight, or dress up to make fun of him, yet this one was saying that this was the real deal. From the pitch black clothing he is wearing, which included a trench coat, to the dark duel disk, and finally, the glowing dragon on his back that shined brighter than any kind of dye, it was too hard to describe what each one is feeling at the moment.

Bastion was the only one to speak up, "It can't be . . ."

Back at the duel, Dimitri was shocked at what he was looking at, but recovered quickly, "So you think just because you look like the Crimson Duelist makes you any better than myself, you have another thing coming, for I am Yugi Moto, the King of Games." He said, showing how hard he crashed at the bottom of the rabbit hole.

Will didn't seem fazed by that comment, "You need to prove that I'm as big of a fake as you are," Will said, getting his opponent to become angry at him once again, "And I'll let my cards do all the proving." Deciding to get back to business, "And by the way, the monster you attack," When he decided to drop a bombshell, what looked like an escape pod with a wicked cyclops grin facing his opponent popped up, "was my Cyber Jar." After getting the customary no from his opponent, because by now, most duelists know what that means, "That's right, whatever caused it to flip over, like say, an attack, the first half of its ability activates, which is destroying all monsters on the field," to help prove his point, the monster self-destructed, taking the Dark Magician with it. With the field now free of monsters, "And for the other half, we draw five cards from our deck, and if any of them are low level monsters, they get summoned onto the field, in the position of the duelist's choosing." When both duelists drew the required amount from their decks, Will placed three monsters onto the field, Axe Dragonite and Lord of D in attack position, with Masked Dragon in Defense position, while Dimitri brought out Obnoxious Celtic Guardian and Kuriboh in defense position.

Dimitri, seeing how his turn was just about over anyway, "I play Swords of Revealing Light, which prevents you from attacking me for three turns." He said, although anybody could translate that to needing more time to mount a counter in case his opponent starts to bring out the big guns. "And I end my turn."

Will just shrugged his shoulders like it was no big deal, and drew his next card. Getting a good look at it, before placing it into his hand, with a flick of his hand, "I now activate my last facedown card, The Flute of Summoning Dragon," The card raised, revealing itself, then vanished, leaving behind a horn with a dragon motif, "And with Lord of D on the field, I can special summon two dragon types from my hand to the field." The Flute floated into said monster's hand, allowing him to blow his own horn, in a way, "And the two dragons I choose are Kaiser Glider," A what looked like a gold griffin, (or for you Harry Potter fans, a gold hypocrite), but more mechanical looking, "And Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" When said dragon appeared, it was becoming more and more clear who Will really is.

While everybody else was more shocked, although in Dimitri's case, more fearful, because he is literally looking at a really dangerous beast, yet he had to regain his senses when Will ended his turn, and had to start his turn.

Over with the friends, half of them weren't sure what to think about this development, one was already sure where he stands, and one, well, was too busy enjoying the duel (three guesses who, yet you won't need one). Syrus, being the most sensitive of the group, "Hey guys, does anybody else feel . . ." He started to say, but was having trouble getting the words out.

Jaden decided to intercept, "Sy, I know how you feel, but this is Will we're talking about here." He said, "He wouldn't do anything unless there was reason behind it."

"Indeed." Bastion continued, "During his time here, Will has proven to be a reliable friend, and even though he kept a secret of this magnitude from us, the least we can do is give him a chance to tell the reasons behind his choice." While he had some ideas on why Will would keep such a thing a secret, he knew it wasn't his place to say what it was, especially since some of the stuff would go over Jayden's head a few times before landing.

Chumley decided to finish this line of conversation, turning away after Will summoned a second Blue-Eyes the tribute way. "Yeah Syrus, I don't like being kept in the dark as you do, but come on, more than once, Will said that he will tell us some things when he feels that he can trust us with the full truth about himself." He said, duel getting really heated, "Besides, I think he was being cautious around certain blabbermouths."

Syrus kept silent, but still had a lot to think about.

Back at the duel, (I'm going to skip to the end of the duel, rewriting a canon duel is a major headache) it has finally reached its climax, with Dimitri having Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning, with two cards in his hand, and 1500 LP, while Will had all three of his Blue-Eyes White Dragons on the field, the final one special summoned with the ritual monster Paladin of White Dragon, two cards himself, and his LP holding at 2500, everything else, became long gone. And now, it is the start of Will's turn. "I draw," he said, pulling a card from his deck. After taking one look, and placing it into his hand, pulling out a card from said hand in its place, "And now Dimitri, it's time for your fall, and it starts with this card, Polymerization," He said, revealing said card before placing it face-up in the slot, "And I use it to fuse my three Blue-Eyes White Dragons to form the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon." When the three Dragons lit up and fused together to form one, three-headed creature that brings out the fears in any duelist who ends up facing it, "And by sending this dragon to the graveyard, I summon one of the most dangerous monsters in the world of Duel Monsters, Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon!" The Ultimate Dragon shrunk down into a small orb of light, when it's card was taken off the disk, and when the card to said dragon was put in its place, the orb, like an overpowered flashbang grenade going off, except for the one that summoned it, everybody else had to cover their eyes as a light bright enough to illuminate at least half the island, while Will had to quickly shut his eyes to minimize the damage as much as possible. When the light died down, everyone looked to see the dragon, a mechanical Blue-Eyes, that is said to be so strong, it would give even the Egyptian God Cards a run for their money, "And now that my dragon is out, one of its abilities activates, to where it gains 300 attack points for every dragon-type in my graveyard, and since there are total of ten, then it's attack points pretty much doubles." When said dragon's attack went up to 6000, Dimitri looked like he was going to be in despite need of a clean pair of shorts, along with pants, "And since you're carrying somebody else's cards, Yugi's cards, then all I can do is knocked you out with as little harm as possible, so now, Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, Take out his soldier with Shining Nova Blast." The dragon opened its mouth, and launched an attack that obliterated its target, along with the rest of Dimitri's LP, knocking him back about a foot, and knocking him out flat on his back.

Everyone watched as the dragon vanished when Will's duel disk shut itself off, and when he replaced all of his cards back into his deck, along with the duel disk going back into its resting positon, he placed the deck back into its box as he started walking towards Dimitri to get Yugi's deck out of his grasp. They ran up to Will as he picked up all of the cards that Dmitri used, from the deck itself, to the cards that were knocked out of his hand during launch. Jaden, being the most excited of the four, was the first to speak up, "Wow Will, that was one pretty intense duel." He said, with the kid in a candy store look.

"Indeed," Bastion said, "And I believe things are going to become more interesting at the academy once word gets out."

"That's one way of looking at it." Will said, as he turned around, and started looking past them. When the four turned around, they looked to see Zane, Alexis, Aeris, and a good portion of the Academy students, and realized that there was an audience to this duel.

Yep, things at the academy just took a major turn.

Well, here is the latest chapter, sorry it took so long. Also, sorry about the duel if you feel disappointed, wasn't how I pictured it, and since it was used in the anime, making it canon, and since it was Yugi's deck, didn't feel like guessing how much he's changed it besides throwing in a couple of new versions to two of his most powerful monsters. Anyway, Read and Review, and wither you liked the chapter or not, hey, can't please everybody, and have no intention to even bother trying since it causes more harm then good.
