hmmmm Should black haired Ken run to the new couple who reside at his abandoned house with how withered things are going? Also albino Ken is still in the grey area but will there be friendships or not? What kind of people to name and give personas so they could be around the odd ducks of Kami?
Touka and cycle 2 Ken were still working out the kinks on their end. Things were going smoothly between the duo. Touka being her usual grumpy self and Ken feeling pressured about picking her up from highschool. Every time Ken showed Touka his double's top, she opted to burn it instead of leaving to look for the boys to hand it over. If the mating thing was bothering her, she didn't act on it. All the shop workers heard was Touka spazzing over one thing or another. Would he actually get a love mate mark from Touka? No, baby steps toward relationship goals would lead to a proper ghoul mating. Sadly, Ken wasn't good at the whole making out thing. He was slightly jealous by how his double and Hide were treating eachother.
Now, they were further away from a proper double date with the alternate couple option. Touka wanted nothing to do with the nut case and carefree ballooning dolt.
Ken was tending to the bar in the coffee shop while the customers chatted about their day. There was so much he pondered about their relationship and if he should meet the albino form's foster parents to see if he could live like normal. The cafe was a great place to have a home away from home except now his place was occupied by a couple who the albino trusted to a point. If their relationship was hitting a rut, running to the sweet yet psycho couple would shed more light on what to expect. Albino Ken ran from the place he called home and never thought hard on it. Seeing Touka yet doing nothing meant their relationship hadn't expanded much beyond work friends.
"You're spacing out Ken." says Touka.
"Huh? Just thinking of slipping away to my uhhh...the house I'd be living in now." says Ken nervously.
"The one you bought in case you needed a comfy bed? You're a half ghoul in hiding. You can't enjoy human things like you used too. I can barely keep up with humans as it is." says Touka.
"I do have to get my things out of there so the estranged family can have more room." says Ken looking away.
"If those humans see you, what then? Can you really trust their word?" wonders Touka.
"Other me does." says Ken.
"That's his business not ours. Start looking lively around the customers." says Touka.
"All I'm good for now is picking you up from school. Our relationship is stale mate." says Ken.
"Stale mate? Where'd you get that idea?" wonders Touka annoyed.
"I can't live a lie if its not natural between us." says Ken.
"The hell is wrong with you?" wonders Touka.
"Nothing. Seems unfair to have my stuff stuffed into closets for room." says Ken.
Kami Uni...
Cycle 1 Ken soon gave in and nibbled on the pooch of fat with his eyes closed while doting on Hide who, in technical terms, was eating for 2. The taste of flesh felt refreshing on his tongue despite not sinking his teeth into him. If he forced blood to show, everyone would want answers since I'm the only one willing to be friends with the goofball.
The bell rang indicating everyone was to go back to doing classwork. Ken opened his eyes and hurriedly tore his face away from Hide's stomach to close the boxes. Hide chuckled at how frantic Ken was as he gathered everything up. Ken looked over Hide's stomach for bite marks or blood, seeing none of the sort overall. He doubted it'd be noticeable unless the humans took a good look at Hide. Ken would have to worry about that in due time. At the moment he had something in mind to tell his classmates revolving around the sight they thought was imaginary.
Back in the classroom, everyone was back in their assigned seats except Ken who stood creepily in front of the class ignoring the teacher.
"Get back to your seat Kaneki." says the teacher angrily.
"You all saw the kagune, didn't you?" wonders Ken frowning at the speechless faces staring back.
"Ka..gune?" wonders the teacher.
"Yeah, would be seen no matter how much you want it to be your imagination playing you like a fool." says Ken.
"Its not hard to see a blur of white and yellow sling shotting to the roof." say the students trying to put 2 and 2 together in their heads.
"You are as you say. Ghouls have 2 demon eyes yet for a split second we saw a human and ghoul eye. Your experimentation wasn't a lie if humans can be turned into ghouls." says a female student.
"There's no true way to live in an unsightly world like this. I am no more than an abomination with no real place in the world. Hide became my friend when I was human and hasn't treated me any differently even if I felt it was him teasing my trust in him. He saw a lonely boy in need of friends and now everyone in this room has 2 options:like me for who I am or get the CCG involved. If the doves patrol the school, I need everyone's cooperation and act like everything is normal." says Ken.
Silent worries filled the room with everyone looking at each other unsure how to feel.
"I'd like to start class Kaneki." says the teacher.
"Sorry for rushing this on you. Everyone was bound to find out." says Ken going back to his seat.
"If we keep things hush hush, won't it ruin the school?" wonders a male student.
"Humans and ghouls have separate lanes they can have allies anywhere in. I'm in the grey area lane;unable to mingle with human or ghoul. Hide and I chose the grey area so we could continue being friends and maybe something more. Humans and ghouls mingling together...that'll be a day of miracles with nothing secretive." says Ken.
"A positive look on life mingling with a negative look on life. You'll both be in the grey area until the doves kill you off. No amount of hangouts can prevent that." says the male student.
Hide suddenly peered through the door then went up to Ken forcing an uncomfortable aura within the room.
"We better head to Anteiku then your place. Your foster parents have to see you every now and then and who could ignore Anteiku's heavenly sweets?" says Hide.
"You can't just waltz in here." says the teacher.
"And who should we invite? Who'd be bold enough to enter the grey area where only we reside?" wonders Ken unamused.
"Don't your parents and the Anteiku workers count?" wonders Hide confused.
"It's up to them not us." says Ken.
"Coffee at Anteiku to gaze at the waitress then meet up with his family?" wonder the class.
"These people don't associate with murder happy people like you and Juuzou." mutters Ken.
"Its been a while though." says Hide.
"What are we hearing?" wonder the students.
"I'll think about it. Head back to class." says Ken embarrassed.
"We can talk over dove stuff with the fam. Next generation need a better lifestyle than what we currently ha-"
"Hide, class time not yack time." says Ken angrily.
"Don't be rude about it." says Hide.
Few hours later...
"Yin Ken! Bunny Touka!" says Hide opening the door.
"Bunny...Touka?" wonders Touka annoyed.
"We're both rabbits." says Hide.
"Y-yeah...one eats hundreds of carrots while the other more responsible one tries to maintain work and school." grumbles Touka.
"Don't lug me with chubster here. The thought came last minute between lunch ending and class beginning." says cycle 1 Ken walking in.
"Is Hide your mate whitey?" wonders Touka.
"Its officially unofficial or is it the other way around? I did it on instinct and now we're pretending he has a food baby. We haven't officially done the deed but feels good wrapping my arms around him while kissing him or nibbling him." says cycle 1 Ken.
"Whatever floats your rocky boat." says Touka.
"How far have you two gone?" wonders cycle 1 Ken.
"Your double sees our relationship as stale mate after your estranged timed question." mutters Touka glaring at cycle 1 Ken.
"I see..." says cycle 1 Ken.
"What's he having you go through this time?" wonders Touka.
"Studying at Kami Uni in this cycles Ken's place. Dunno if school life is this me but we made it to 'Seeing is believing' stage or whatever you put it down as." says cycle 1 Ken.
"What did you nimrods do?" wonders Touka.
"Hide wants things to be normal despite the odds. I think my classmates get what I mean by experimentation from my country view. Everyone else though...imaginations run wild. My best bet is Hide's classmates understand the struggle now. Hide's classmates call me a dragon knight whisking away a dumb human who appears kidnapped turned snatching a fairytale captive that is in dire need of a prince away. My classmates have mixed feelings. They chat to me but can't tell if they trust me. Hide says to wait for them but if they keep seeing my rinkaku...I'm a doomed specimen." says cycle 1 Ken nervously.
'Hey, Touka, where are the holiday desserts?' says Hide.
"IN A MINUTE YOU DUMB FUCK!" growls Touka turning to face Hide.
'Where's the decorations and stuff!?' whines Hide.
"GHOULS DONT CELEBRATE HOLIDAYS! GET YOUR OWN HOLIDAY SHIT!" yells Touka.
"This place needs to look cheerful for Christmas!" says Hide.
"That's up to the manager." says Touka.
"Yang Ken needs more human holiday fun. Yes, you can't eat anything but think of all the presents." says Hide sparkly eyed.
"Yes, yes, you jolly angelic smile bringer. You're the only idiot who screams Santa costume and it'll be even better with your new body." says Touka.
"At least our idiot thinks of us." says cycle 2 Ken watching Hide drool at the display case.
"He has our full undivided attention with nothing keeping him from screaming joyful banters." sighs cycle 1 Ken.
"So, what's a christmas\birthday party in one like if all he has is ghoul friends?" wonders cycle 2 Ken to cycle 1 Ken.
"No clue. I was human having holiday parties with Hide. They stopped when I took on my ghoul life." mumbles cycle 1 Ken.
"So you haven't had an official what if party between ghoul friend and human friend." says cycle 2 Ken pondering.
"Seems so." says cycle 1 Ken sweat dropping.
"Does Hide need a leash?" wonders Touka.
"We aren't assholes. Let him drain out his energy." say cycle 1 and 2 Ken.
"He has to much energy for all of us combined." says Touka.
"So a twin Christmas\Birthday party for us or ignore it?" wonders cycle 2 Ken.
"We won't be able to cover it in time if we need my 'folks' for a plan against the doves." says cycle 1 Ken.
"We can't pass this up." says Hide turning around.
"And how will we go about eating the food with you?" wonder cycle 1 and 2 Ken.
"You know to feed me the meal." says Hide.
"That's to much food for us to carry to you." grumbles Touka.
"We haven't tested buffet places to know his weight in food. He loves eating but I get to nauseated to keep tabs on emptied dishes." says cycle 1 Ken.
"So debatable?" wonders cycle 2 Ken.
"Would be cruel if we tied Hide up for us to feed until pleased. Isn't that how you two are by using your rinkaku?" wonders Touka.
"My tentacles enjoy Hide's girth. Feeling him up the kagune way is less dangerous when alone than pinning him with them to fondle him. Feels less weird than forcing my hands to do what my body hesitates to do. Not so much weird as it is less forced. Kagune do as they please unlike you yourself who acts upon regret then wearily ignores when in contact." mumbles cycle 1 Ken embarrassed.
"They're part of you. Letting them do as they please means its you showing emotion when kissing and being hands on looks weirder in your head than in reality. You need to normalize squeezing his flab while kissing him the human way in public or alone." says Touka.
"I'm trying. I do it when my mind is hazy before Hide alerts me of the real world. Its hard to nibble a stomach when multitasking feeding with kagune and urging for showing love without onslaught questions at school." mumbles cycle 1 Ken.
"Shouldn't you be lashing out on me? What they do is their business." says cycle 2 Ken.
"You don't do anything with me aside from chatting in my room. At least he has some courage." says Touka.
"I'm the awkward type with a bitchy type. You have to do it first so I have an idea of where you want things to go." says cycle 2 Ken.
"Any examples?" wonders Touka.
Cycle 2 Ken went mute itching his cheek while Touka leered at him awaiting answers.
"What's the best option for first timers? At least Albino has it fun doing whatever with Hide." says cycle 2 Ken.
"Jealousy toward old times? Wake up and smell the blood and coffee! You have to man up and make me need you otherwise stalemate will turn into ex lovers." says Touka.
"I should've went to Yuki and Yuno's place with Hide." thinks cycle 1 Ken unamusedly watching Hide.
